The door closed after Vexen and three of them saw Sly and Julia playing a videogame very focused.
"Yes!" Julia shouted happily and raised her hands up, when her character had won Sly's character who snarled and let his head lean over the couch, seeing the others holding their smiles.
"She won me, again."
"Well, that's her favorite game." Kate smiled and took a controller in her hands.
Sly only could look at Julia, who smiled apologizing and raised her shoulders.
"It's been ages since I played this." She explained to him, before starting a new game with Kate.
"With your-?" Sly was gonna ask, when he felt that, Kate smacked his head.
Sly looked at Kate indignantly, massaging his head and was going to ask that smacking reason, but when he saw a tight look on Kate's face, Sly realized his question. He turned his head to the right, going to apologize for that question, but Julia shook her head slowly.
"...Don't be, you didn't know." Julia said melancholy and held a controller tighter in her hands.
Sly took Julia's tea cup, but instead he walked straight to the kitchen, he walked to Vexen and Kit's side, who had seen everything.
"It's everything alright?" Kit asked carefully.
"Me and my big mouth." Sly mumbled and they looked to the living room.
It took some time when Bentley, Penelope and Murray came back from the garage.
Murray told them that the van needs lots of new items and sand is still everywhere, but lucky for everyone, Bentley has made them passports.
"We had to use these when the van was… out of order." Bentley told Kit and Julia, reading their faces.
"Out of… order?" Kit asked, raising her eyebrow.
"In the ice." Boys, Penelope and Kate said together.
*In that morning England, Lancashire 7:30 am.*
A boy walked to a cave, where the sea water waves were hypnotizing. He always came there when he wanted to be alone and now he wants that. A lot of things will happen in his life.
He sat down near the water and hugged his legs, but quickly took his phone, hoping that his uncle had answered him, but nothing.
A boy bit his lips and put his phone back in his pocket.
"Obviously." He mumbled to his legs, while hugging them.
"Is everything alright?" A boy heard a woman asking, who startled and looked to the right, eyes fully open. He didn't see anyone in that cave when he walked in there.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." A young woman apologized and took a step closer.
She smiled gently for the boy, which made the boy calm down.
"I haven't seen you here before. Are you a tourist?" A boy asked and fixed himself back to sit.
A woman chuckled, hiding her mouth.
"You may call me that," she answered and her vision changed, and so did the air around them.
"Tell me, are you… unhappy?" A woman asked coldly, tilting her head to the right.
A boy couldn't move. The woman sounded like waves, hypnotizing.
"No, I'm no-… I am." He said and looked back to the water.
A woman kneeled closer and put her hands on the boy's both shoulders to comfort him.
"I know how you feel." She told him and the boy looked at her again.
Whoever this woman is, her voice is somehow echoing, it's not because of the cave, it's something else. Slowly the boy starts to feel empty inside of him.
"Why won't you rest, you look exhausted." A woman said, seeing the boy's vision darker.
The boy felt heavy and thought that as a good idea, after all he had a lot in his mind. He closed his eyes and the woman chuckled silently.
"Archie!" A male voice came near the tunnel.
A woman stood up and saw stars in her eyes, but ignored them and raised her both hands.
"Archie you in here?" Archie's father came to the tunnel mouth, but didn't see his son where they thought that he might be.
"Is he there?" Archie's mother asked behind her husband.
"No, I can't see him. Let's go see if he's in the park." Archie's father told his wife and they left.
A woman stopped using her magic, closing her eyes and bowing that the dizziness will stop.
When she felt better, she looked at Archie, who slept on the ground.
"I see," she said and put her hands behind her.
She leaned closer to Archie, smiling now coldly.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Archie, you may call me Bethanie."
