Finally they arrived at Lancashire's cottages. Penelope told the others that she will go get keys from a pub owner, who takes care of cottages and Bentley decided to go with her.
While Murray was going to give Julia's suitcase to her, he noticed that she had walked to the other side of the road.
"Hey Kate, is Julia okay?" Murray asked and they looked at the youngest, who had put her hands on the metal fences and looked at the sea.
The air was salty and there were some people on the beach, the wind blew in the air, which made Julia hold her cap hat.
"I'll talk to her, but I guess she's okay." Kate said and walked closer to her best friend, who has never said that word, which she probably knew the answer to.
Kate swallows her anger, remembering how Julia had cried to her, while sending a voice message. After she had made a portal and came to her room, they had sat on the floor for a while and just talk. Julia had started to put her clothes on the suitcase, wanting to go with Kate's home, when her brother knocked on the door and wanted to talk to her.
Kate looked at Julia, who shooked her head and took her necklace in her hand, which she always does feeling unsafe. Kate rushed to the door and opened it.
"Why did you have to blame her without a reason?!" Julia heard Kate shouting to him on the hallway.
Kate let a long breath out of her lungs, before she walked Julia's right side.
"Nice views." Kate said and leaned to the fence.
"Kate?" Julia asked suddenly.
Kate tried to look at Julia, but she kept her eyes tightly into the horizon.
"When I called for you, was that the right choice?"
Kate looked at Julia, feeling bad for her and put her hand on Julia's shoulder, who looked at her.
"You did the right thing." Kate said, sounding like a caring big sister.
"If you say so." Julia sighed and looked again to the beach.
"'Say so?' Juli, that was very brave for you," Kate said and looked away.
"After all, he's an idiot."
"Don't call him like that!" Julia raised her voice, where Kate looked at her, who looked seriously to her.
"You're right, you're right. I shouldn't say something like that." Kate said calmly, raising her hand, when Penelope and Bentley came back with keys.
"Kate," she heard Julia saying and looked behind her.
"Thank you."
When everyone had got rooms and put their clothes on, they gathered in the living room one by one.
Julia looked at Kate and whispered something to her original ear, where her eyes opened to remember something.
"Is something wrong?" Vexen asked and looked at the teens, who had come behind them downstairs.
Both looked at each other and they saw how Julia looked in her shoes, nervously.
"Julia, go outside. I'll come get you when we have talked about this." Kate said smiling, where Julia nodded and walked to the front door.
"Just," Julia said, hand on the doorknob.
"Be honest. That's all I ask."
"Honest for what?" Bentley asked looking at Kate, when Julia had closed a door behind her.
Kate looked at the other and let a long sigh come out.
"Well~" Kate said and rolled her eyes, smiling and rubbing her hands.
*Meanwhile in the Winthrop's house*
"Ethan told me and my boss earlier that nothing has been weird about him," Jonathan read his early notes and looked at Ethan and Sophie with his eyes.
"But have there been any problems with your jobs or clients?"
Knowing Sophie's that she works in a senior house, where some relatives aren't always in a happy mood, while Ethan is journalism in a Lancashire newspaper, where the schedules are tight.
Both looked at eachother worried and took their hands, when a kettle started to whistle and Ethan came to pour water on tea cups.
"Is there?" Jonathan replied to his question, sounding now worried.
"No, luckily. But about that," Sophie started, when she looked at Ethan.
"Jonathan, we are going to move." Ethan looked at his brother, which shocked Jonathan.
"Move, to where?" He managed to ask.
"To Warrington," Ethan answered, while bringing tea cups and sat down on the chair finally.
"My boss told me that they need new journalism for their newspaper."
Jonathan looked outside and drank tea in silence, even though he's not a tea drinker.
Sophie saw that Jonathan was astonished, where she opened her mouth.
"I, We, knew that you might be shocked, after all you two have grown up here," Sophie started, where Jonathan looked at her.
"But to be honest, I have started to fear this place. Even though our neighbors are lovely."
"When I was at work, some elder took my hand and told my future, about-" Sophie was going to say, but couldn't continue.
"About this situation." Ethan said, where Jonathan only could nod and close his notebook.
"I understand. Besides, this country has that kind of history as well."
Brothers remembered when their mother had found a book about this city, but soon she had returned that to the store.
"Archie wants to celebrate his birthday before we move and everyone has promised to come. He even made a list with his friends, what they will do." Ethan told him, while Sophie held a teacup on her both hands and looked absent-minded.
"Do you mind if I look at his room?" Jonathan asked and stood up, hoping that there would be something.
"Why yes sure-" Sophie said and was going to stand, but put her hand in front of her mouth and leaned to the dinner table.
If Ethan wouldn't help her back to sit, Sophie would find herself on the floor.
"I'm alright, this little fellow just didn't notice that I stood suddenly." Sophie said, smiling a little embarrassed.
"How did Archie react to all of this?" Jonathan asked, while following his older brother to the upstairs.
"Of course he was upset, but he guessed that something was going to change."
...
Archie's door was open and the sun brought light to the room. Everything looked normal, a little messy, but normal.
A desk was full of papers and some last year school books, a laptop which waited for the opener. A bookshelf had some comic books, some figures and a couple D&D -boardgames as well. Jonathan walked inside to Archie's room, trying to look for something that could spot his eyes.
"Why isn't there a door in his closet?" Jonathan asked and pointed at the closet with his thumb, where the Great Britain flag was now.
"One of Archie's friends slipped on papers and hit his elbow on the door." Ethan told him leaning to the door and sighed, when they heard Sophie using a bathroom.
Both looked at the stairs and Ethan said that he's going to look at the situation, while Jonathan turned Archie's laptop on.
