Warning; This part has some painful moments.
Kate looked at the rooftop and started to remember everything slowly. Holding her head she opened the van's door and saw Bentley and Murray who were relieved to see her.
"How are you?" Bentley asked, while Kate sat on the stairs.
"I'm fine, what happened?" She asked and tried to look at both of them, but it was difficult. The sun almost blinded her.
"While I helped you to the van, the others went to the castle and when Bentley used his drone he-"
"Castle, without me?" Kate stopped Murray, who nodded to her.
"Kate, you fainted. We just couldn't wait for you to wake up and go with them." Bentley tried to make sense to Kate, but saw her standing.
Bentley sighed and rubbed his eyes, he was going to refuse Kate to follow them, when Murray helped her back to sit, who saw everything twice in her eyes.
"You should be more careful, we are in your ancestors' country." Bentley reminds Kate, giving a water bottle to her.
"Thanks, I try to remember." Kate smiled weakly, when a castle guard walked closer to ask about the situation.
*Meanwhile in the castle*
Everything looked normal and peaceful in Kit's, Vexen's and Sly's eyes while they walked in the inner castle. Someone had historicals clothes on and acted like that timeline person, while someone had put those clothes on just for fun.
"Do you think that Kate's will be okay?" Kit asked worriedly, curling her hair on her fingers.
"She's strong, she just needs some rest." Sly calms Kit, but actually he was worried too.
He hasn't ever seen Kate fainting, only hurting her ankle on the missions.
All three saw the English flag with a guide and people around him, so they decided to join one of the tourist groups.
"Alright, shall we continue inside?!" A tourist guide said and started to walk ahead on them, while another followed him.
After seeing different places, they came to one of the prisons, where Kit started to feel warmth again on her hand. First she tried to ignore that, but when it started to rise, she had to go outside to wait for the other.
"Watch out your heads and steps, alright, behind my back, you can see Hexafoils, or daisy wheels knowing better." A tourist guide explained to them and chuckled harmlessly, seeing how the tourist group looked shocked.
"Don't worry, those are harmless."
"No, not those, that one!" One of the tourists pointed to the wall.
A tourist guide looked at the wall and dropped a notebook and a small flag on the ground.
…
Everyone looked at the wall in the dark room which was supposed to be full of hexafoils, but there was a fresh white circle, painted into the wall, star inside of them.
Tourists started to talk confused and the tourist guide had full hands to calm the tourist.
"Alright, everybody outside, right now." He led everyone outside, after picking the items on the ground.
When the tourist group had left, Vexen took a picture of a wall.
"Do you think it's meant for us?" Sly asked, looking at a picture and then to a wall.
"Maybe. We need to show this to others- where's Kit?" Vexen asked suddenly.
They walked to the hallway and saw Kit holding her hand leaning against the wall, eyes tightly and painfully closed.
"Kit, what is it?" Vexen asked, when they walked closer to her.
Kit managed to open her tearful eyes, but the couple saw how pain muted her. Vexen and Sly looked at each other, knowing clearly that they had to go now back to the van.
*Meanwhile in Winthrop's house*
Jonathan leaned on the chair after trying some passwords, but none of them worked, not even their last name 'Winthrop'. And now he has only 1 chance to try.
Jonathan looked at Archie's 3 drawers on the right side and tried to open the first drawer, but it was locked. He searched the other drawers to find a key, but there was only papers, notebooks and some assorted goods.
"Now I have to find a key." Jonathan thought and stood up.
Jonathan looked everywhere to find a key; under the bed, behind the curtains and even the night desk, but he didn't find that.
"Okay, if I'm Archie, where would I put-" He thought, when his eyes spotted Archie's shelf.
Jonathan looked at a shelf one by one, when Ethan came back.
"Sophie said that she's gonna be alright so I deci- what are you doing?" Ethan asked, seeing Jonathan opening one of Archie's board games boxes.
"I need to find a key to that drawer." He told Ethan and looked at him.
"Or do you know your son's password to his laptop?" Jonathan asked, where Ethan shook his head.
"We had taught him not to tell anyone passwords, but we all know one password and it's the security system's number for this house." Ethan explained, while his brother took another board game in his hands.
"But, you have such nice neighbors." Jonathan said, looking inside the box. Nothing strange, so he put it back.
"Yes we have, but there have been 'problems' lately." Ethan said, where Jonathan looked at him confused.
"I'm sure that they were just teenagers, thinking that it's brilliant to get attention like that," Ethan explained and sighed.
"One night we all woke up when the neighbors' cars started to alarm and the next morning, their garden was completely messed up. Talk about their car, which was scratched with sharp items and even a tire had made a hole."
"Local police know, right?" Jonathan asked.
"Of course they know, but they can't do anything, the security camera's lens was painted with a black paint." Ethan explains to him.
Jonathan didn't want to make his brother think that day anymore, so he decided to change the subject.
"Hey, could you look if the key is up there?" He asked, where Ethan took a chair under him.
"Not a key, but there's a lot of dust. That boy should clean better." Ethan said and put a chair back to his son's work desk.
"Says the person who hid the mess under the bed or closet." Jonathan chuckled, while opening the smallest zip, on Archie's royalty blue school backpack.
"Of course," He said and showed a key, which has a Big Ben keychain.
"Nobody doesn't touch a school bag during vacation."
"Excellent work, detective." Ethan gave his younger brother a smile and nodded.
Jonathan looked at his brother smiling and opened a drawer. He took a brown notebook in his hands, which had locked of course.
Jonathan sighed and looked at Ethan.
"We have two choices; 1. Find again a small key or 2. Use a hair grip."
"Sophie has a lot of them, wait here." Ethan said and came to their room and soon with a hair grip.
Jonathan opened a lock easily, when they heard a doorbell ringing and Sophie walking to the door. They heard another woman's voice on the door which sounded calm.
"Oh, I completely forgot." Ethan said mostly himself than his brother who looked at him waiting for an answer.
"Is something wrong?"
"Huh, oh no, everything is fine. You know what, I'll give you work peace." Ethan said and left Jonathan alone.
Jonathan looked a while to the hallway confused, when he started to search for the password and found them on the last page.
'Locker: 5,3,9,7 (was, not anymore).'
'Home: 6,2,4,4,2 (Sigh and facepalm).'
'Laptop: 3,14159.'
Jonathan could only stare impressed by his nephew's password.
"So it's Pi's number. That's very smart." He thought and sat on the chair, wrote a password and the laptop welcomed him with Archie's name.
The small joy which was a few seconds in the air, started to slowly disappear.
"Archie, where are you?" Jonathan thought worried, before he started to work.
