i hope you buckle up for this new story and i hope you enjoy it!

The airship floated gently in the dazzling sky, its sails billowing softly as it docked in the picturesque Kingdom of Demacia. Unlike the bustling, industrial landscapes of Piltover and Zaun, Demacia was a realm of rolling grassy plains and majestic mountain slopes, painted in vibrant hues of green and gold. The sun shone brightly, casting a warm glow that awakened the senses, while the crisp, clean air invigorated Jinx, Isha, and Ekko.

Jinx, known for her wild antics and rebellious spirit, kept her hood up as they stepped onto the cobblestone streets, her bright blue hair hidden from view. She loved the thrill of mischief, but here, in this peaceful kingdom, she felt an unusual calmness wrap around her like a comforting blanket. The locals greeted them with friendly smiles and waves, a stark contrast to the often suspicious glances they received back home.

Isha, the resourceful and bright-eyed member of their trio, had a knack for finding opportunities where others saw none. As they wandered the streets, she noticed an old man struggling with a rusted tool outside a quaint shop. Without a second thought, she approached him, offering assistance. The man, who introduced himself as Herald, was short and stubby, with a tuft of white hair and twinkling brown eyes.

With Isha's help, the old man managed to fix the tool, which turned out to be a device used for lifting heavy objects. Herald's gratitude was palpable as he watched her work, impressed by her skills and kindness. After a brief conversation, Herald learned that Isha, Jinx, and Ekko were without a place to stay. In a moment of unexpected generosity, he offered them an apartment above his shop, along with jobs to help him run the place.

The shop was filled with an eclectic mix of gadgets, from whimsical inventions to practical tools. Isha found herself fascinated by the myriad of contraptions, while Jinx's curiosity often led her to tinker with the more eccentric items, much to Herald's amusement. Ekko, always the visionary, saw potential in the shop to create something exciting that could blend their unique backgrounds with the charm of Demacia.

As they settled into their new lives, the trio transformed the apartment into a cozy home, complete with quirky decorations and an air of adventure. They spent their days working alongside Herald, learning the ins and outs of the trade. Isha thrived in her role, quickly becoming an indispensable part of the shop. Jinx, however, couldn't resist the urge to add a bit of chaos to the mix but nothing dangerous, she would often rig gadgets to do unexpected things, much to the delight of the children who visited the shop.

The peacefulness of Demacia began to seep into their hearts, and they found joy in the simple pleasures of life. While they still harbored dreams of adventure beyond the kingdom, they also began to appreciate the beauty of the wild lands surrounding them. With an abundance of untouched nature just outside their door, the idea of building a place of their own started to take root.

As the sun set behind the mountains, Jinx, Isha, and Ekko would often sit on the balcony of their apartment, gazing out at the horizon. The vibrant colors of dusk painted the sky, and laughter filled the air as they shared stories and dreams. In that moment, they felt a sense of belonging, a feeling they had longed for amidst the chaos of their past.

The apartment was modest but filled with warmth and charm, featuring two cozy bedrooms and a single bathroom that was just enough for their needs. The kitchen, while small, had a quaint feel, and the trio quickly made it their own. Jinx had initially planned to share a room with Isha, but the ten-year-old had silently gestured her desire for her own space. With a knowing smile, Isha pointed to Ekko, suggesting that he and Jinx could share a bedroom instead.

After three months spent huddled together in the cargo hold of their airship, the idea of sharing a room with Ekko didn't faze Jinx at all. They had become like a family, and while the arrangement felt a bit different without Isha nestled between them, it was comforting to know they were still together.

Four years had passed since that fateful day when they had stolen the airship, leaving their old lives behind in search of freedom and adventure. Now, in the heart of Demacia, they had established a new life, filled with laughter and camaraderie, and made the most of every day together. The shop, Bolts and Gears, had become a local favorite, attracting customers from all around. Herald's decision to hire them had proven to be a stroke of genius, as their unique talents and vibrant personalities breathed new life into the shop.

Despite Jinx's initial disdain for the shop's name, she couldn't deny that it had become a hub of activity. The trio worked hard to keep the shelves stocked and the customers happy, and slowly, they built a loyal clientele. Jinx had even changed up her outfit slightly, opting for a tank top that drew less attention from the male patrons. It was a small concession for her, made mainly to appease Ekko, who couldn't help but scowl whenever other guys dared to check her out.

Jinx found a certain amusement in watching Ekko get irritated by the attention she received; his protective instincts were as endearing as they were entertaining. It was a constant game for her, and she relished the playful banter that ensued. On one occasion, when a group of guys began catcalling her. Isha, emboldened by her sister's confidence, joined Ekko in giving them the finger, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.

As the years rolled on in Demacia, the bond between Jinx and Ekko deepened, evolving into a relationship filled with intimacy and understanding. They had become a couple, and their affection for one another was palpable, evident in the way they exchanged glances and shared laughter. To symbolize their commitment, they wore matching rings, handcrafted by none other than Isha. The rings were simple yet beautiful, each imbued with a meaning only they could understand.

Isha, now ten years old, had taken to her crafting with a passion, pouring her heart into each piece she created. While she made matching rings for Jinx and Ekko, she opted to transform her own into a necklace, ensuring that it had a unique charm that distinguished it from theirs. The necklace hung delicately around her neck, a constant reminder of the deep connection they shared as a family.

To facilitate more communication in their daily lives, Jinx gifted Isha a small board to write on. This gesture was not just practical, it was a way for Isha to express herself more freely, bridging the gap between her thoughts and the outside world. The board became a cherished tool for Isha, adorned with colorful drawings and messages that showcased her creativity and personality. While Jinx and Ekko had their own special way of communicating—an unspoken connection that allowed them to understand each other with mere glances or gestures—Isha's board gave her a voice among friends and customers at the shop.

At Bolts and Gears, Isha would often write down witty remarks or clever observations about the gadgets they were selling, and the customers adored her for it. Her playful spirit shone through in every interaction, and the shop became a lively place filled with laughter, creativity, and light.

Jinx and Ekko made it a point to always include Isha in their activities, be it brainstorming new ideas for the shop or simply enjoying a quiet evening together. The three of them formed a trio that felt inseparable, their individual quirks enhancing the tapestry of their lives together. They often spent evenings on the balcony, Isha lying between Jinx and Ekko, sharing stories and dreams, while the stars twinkled above them like a thousand tiny lights.

As Jinx and Ekko navigated their relationship, they found joy in the small moments. Playful teasing, stolen kisses, and the comfort of each other's presence. They supported one another through challenges and celebrated victories, knowing that their love was a safe harbor amidst the storms of life.

Jinx had always prided herself on her resilience, but lately, she found herself facing a challenge she had never anticipated. It started innocuously enough, with the morning sickness that would hit her like a wave, forcing her to scramble to the bathroom more than once. At first, she brushed it off as a stomach flu, attributing it to the oddities of life. But as the weeks dragged on and the nausea persisted, she began to realize something was amiss.

The moment of clarity struck her like a bolt of lightning one morning as she sat on the cold tile floor, clutching the rim of the toilet. Panic surged through her veins as she mentally retraced her steps. When had she last had her menstrual cycle? The realization hit her hard, and her heart raced as memories of conversations from her past flooded her mind.

Savika's words echoed in her ears, a warning wrapped in a mix of humor and seriousness that had once seemed so distant. In her teenage years, Silco had been overly protective, fearing she might become too curious about the world, especially when it came to matters of intimacy and relationships. Jinx had laughed off those conversations, thinking they were irrelevant to her life at that time. The idea of getting involved with someone, let alone being with Ekko, had been a far-off notion, something she never believed would come to fruition.

But here she was, grappling with the very possibility Savika had warned her about. The thought of becoming a parent, of being responsible for another life, sent her mind racing. Jinx had never imagined herself in such a situation, and the idea felt simultaneously terrifying and overwhelming.

"Fuck…" Jinx muttered to herself, her voice barely above a whisper as she rested her elbow on the cool, hard surface of the toilet seat. Her heart raced, and the walls felt like they were closing in as the gravity of her situation sank in.

"This can't be happening. I can't be pregnant…" she breathed out, trying to calm the storm brewing within her. The uncertainty clawed at her, making her feel dizzy. She had never envisioned herself in this position, and the thought of becoming a mother felt insurmountable.

What would Ekko think? Would he be happy about the prospect of fatherhood, or would he feel trapped? The questions spiraled in her mind like a chaotic whirlwind. She had seen how he cared for Isha, how protective he was, but this was different. This was a life they would be responsible for—one that would depend on them entirely. Would he want to be a father? Would he leave if he didn't?

Jinx's breath quickened as the weight of the thoughts pressed down on her. She had done well raising Isha, but the girl was old enough to take care of herself now. This was a different story; this was a tiny, fragile life that she would be bringing into the world. The responsibility felt enormous, and doubt seeped into her heart.

What about the Shimmer running through her veins? Would it harm the unborn baby? Would the child be born healthy? These questions loomed large in her mind, overwhelming her with a sense of dread. She had always been reckless, living life on the edge, but this was a whole new level of seriousness.

She closed her eyes, trying to breathe through the panic rising in her chest. It was suffocating, each breath feeling like it was caught in her throat. She needed to think clearly, to gather her thoughts, but the fear was relentless, refusing to let her find any semblance of calm.

Jinx felt a jolt of panic as a small hand touched her shoulder. Startled, she stumbled back, hitting her head against the wall with a dull thud. Isha's worried face swam into view, concern etched deeply into her young features as she watched her sister's reaction unfold. She quickly turns and runs to get Ekko, if this was one of her episodes she could become violent.

Grabbing her head, Jinx felt the familiar rush of hallucinations creeping in, spurred by the overwhelming stress and fear that had taken hold of her. Ekko's voice echoed distortedly, hurling hurtful words at her, while flashes of twisted, neon scribbles danced in her vision, taunting her. She pressed her palms against her ears, desperately trying to block out the dissonance.

"Shut up… that won't happen! STOP IT!" Jinx screamed, her voice cracking under the strain of her emotions.

"Jinx!" Ekko's voice cut through the chaos, tinged with panic as he rushed around the corner, nearly slipping on the wooden floor as he skidded to a stop.

He was at her side in an instant, grabbing her shoulders in an attempt to anchor her back to reality. Memories of earlier years flooded back—moments when she had fought through these episodes, moments of triumph over her past. But now, as she felt his touch, the warmth and safety of him enveloped her, and she shot forward, clinging to him as if he were her lifeline. Burying her face in his chest, she sought solace in his presence. Isha, seeing that Jinx was calming down, approached with her board, holding it up with cautious hope.

"Is Jinx going to be okay now?" She had written, worried about her big sister. Ekko looked down at Jinx, his brow furrowed with concern.

"I think so… Jinx? What happened?" he asked softly, only a shake of her head met his question, and he felt a pang of helplessness.

"Alright, I won't force you into telling us right now. Just… take the day off and rest. Either I or Isha can stay with you until you're feeling better" he suggested, knowing that pushing her to talk wouldn't help.

"No… thanks for running up here, but you both should go back down and work… I'm going to go lay down for a bit…" Jinx mumbled, pulling away from him, her body language signaling she needed space. She hugged herself tightly as she retreated into their bedroom, the door closing softly behind her.

"Hold on!" Ekko called after her, instinctively reaching for the door, but Jinx had already dashed away with a speed born from the Shimmer coursing through her. Isha, her expression serious, turned to Ekko and wrote on her board.

"She has been sick a lot, maybe it's upsetting her?" Isha wrote down.

"Maybe I should find a doctor to check her out then," Ekko replied, glancing at the closed door, worry gnawing at him.

"If it's bad enough to cause her to have one of those episodes…" He trailed off, the implication heavy in the air.

Meanwhile, Jinx lay curled up on her side, her hands resting protectively over her stomach. A swirl of emotions twisted inside her as she stared blankly at the wall, grappling with the fear that had taken root in her heart. She should have told Ekko right then and there, but the thought of sharing her secret felt insurmountable. The reality was undeniable: she was pregnant, and soon enough, both Ekko and Isha would know—her belly would grow, revealing the truth she was so terrified to face.

As she lay there, she managed to push away most of the hallucinations that had plagued her earlier, but one remained stubbornly rooted in her mind. A calm, deep voice broke through the haze of her thoughts.

"Powder, I know you're scared. But you really should tell him," the voice said, and Jinx's eyes narrowed as she recognized the figure approaching her. Vander, a man whose presence felt both comforting and haunting, walked toward her with a paternal air.

"Go away, Vander. You're not real," she scoffed, rolling away from him, desperate to escape the conversation she didn't want to have. But he was already beside her, sitting on the edge of the bed with a heavy sigh.

"It ain't that bad raising a few ankle-biters," he said softly, looking down at her with a mixture of understanding and compassion.

"Your mother was the same as you. Didn't know if she was cut out to be a mother. That woman got nervous just being in the same room as a child." he adds, like he was trying to tell her it would be okay. Jinx felt a pang of nostalgia mixed with bitterness at the mention of her mother.

"Yeah, well. Mom wasn't brought back to life with Shimmer, or know that eventually everyone you loved leaves you…" she growled, her voice edged with frustration. Yet, even as she spoke, she couldn't bring herself to sound truly angry with him. Vander had always been a figure of strength and wisdom in her life, even if his presence now was just a figment of her imagination.

"Listen, Powder," Vander continued, his voice steady and reassuring.

"Nobody knows what they're doing when they start a family. It's all about figuring it out as you go. You've got Ekko and Isha by your side, those two wont leave you. Your to important to them just as much as they are important to you." Vander says, he always had the power to make others feel better. She turned to face him, her heart racing as she wrestled with her emotions.

"But what if I mess it all up? What if I'm not good enough?" The vulnerability in her voice surprised even herself, and she felt the tears threatening to spill.

"Every parent worries they'll mess up" Vander replied, his tone gentle.

"But you've got a heart bigger than anyone I know. You care, and that's what matters. You'll learn along the way, just like everyone else." he smiles down at her, Jinx felt a flicker of hope within her, mixed with the fear that still clung to her like a shadow.

"What if Ekko doesn't want this? What if he leaves when he finds out?" Jinx breaths out.

"You'll never know until you tell him. Hiding this from him will only hurt you both. Trust me, Ekko cares about you deeply. He's not going anywhere." Vander's expression softened as he spoke.

As she processed his words, Jinx felt the weight of her fear begin to lift, if only slightly. It was a battle she had fought for so long—facing her past, confronting her demons, and now, potentially bringing new life into the world. But she also knew that she had to face this head-on, just as she had faced everything else.

"...fine, you win" she murmured, feeling a resolve start to form.

"I'll talk to him. I'll tell him and Isha… thanks dad" she sighs out.

"That's the spirit, Powder." Vander nodded, a proud smile breaking across his face. With that, As Vander's figure faded, Jinx felt the weight of her fears slowly lift, replaced by a spark of determination. She took a deep breath, resting her hand gently on her stomach, feeling the warmth radiate through her.

"Well, kid." she murmured softly to herself, a lightness creeping into her voice.

"Two things could end up happening. One, your father is happy you're going to be born into this world, or mad and leave us to fend for ourselves…" A small smile tugged at her lips as she continued.

"More I think about it, I can't see him getting mad about it. Maybe he'll faint?" Imagining Ekko's reaction brought a warmth to her heart, a vision of him stumbling back in shock, wide-eyed and speechless. The thought of his surprise made her giggle softly, and for a moment, the knot of anxiety in her stomach loosened.

Curling up into a ball, she closed her eyes, letting the comfort of her bed envelop her. The exhaustion from the emotional turmoil of the day began to wash over her, and she felt herself drifting toward sleep. She would tell Ekko and Isha later, she knew Isha would be overjoyed about the news. It was Ekko that Jinx was unclear about.

Downstairs, Herald glanced up from his usual spot at the front desk, a curious expression crossing his face as Isha dashed in, her small frame nearly colliding with Ekko as they both hurried upstairs. The urgency in their movements piqued his interest, and he wondered what had transpired. When Ekko returned moments later, coat in hand and a determined look on his face, Herald waved him over, his mind already racing with possibilities.

"What happened? Is it about Jinx?" he asked, concern etched on his features. Ekko nodded, his expression serious.

"Jinx hasn't been feeling well lately puking every morning. She had an episode I think from the stress of being sick, so I'm going to see if there's a doctor around." He started to turn to leave, anxiety propelling him forward. Herald chuckled softly, a glint of mischief in his eyes.

"My dear boy, I am a retired doctor. I can have a look at her. Though I think I might know what it is. Let me go check on her later." Herald says, having an understanding of what the cause of morning sickness meant. Jinx must be stressing over finding out herself and has yet to tell Ekko, it was something Herald wasn't going to ruin for Jinx by being the one to tell Ekko and Isha. Hearing what the old man said Ekko paused, glancing back at Herald with a mixture of hope and apprehension.

"What do you think it is?" he asked, his voice laced with concern. He desperately hoped it wasn't something serious.

"I can't say for sure," Herald replied, his tone light and nonchalant.

"But it's best if you wait until I look at her. I could be wrong on my guess." He chuckled happily, seemingly unfazed by the tension in the air.

Ekko and Isha exchanged worried glances, both of them wanting to know what the old man suspected. The uncertainty gnawed at them, but Herald simply smiled, remaining tight-lipped about his thoughts on Jinx's condition. The old man had always been a source of wisdom, but today, he seemed to relish in keeping his secrets.

"Alright, just let us know as soon as you can," Ekko said, a note of urgency creeping into his voice. He would rather have an answer than remain in the dark, and Isha nodded in agreement, her eyes wide with concern. Herald waved them off with a reassuring grin.

"I will, I promise. Just give me a moment to gather my things, and I'll go check on her." As he began to shuffle through his desk, Ekko felt a knot of anxiety tighten in his stomach, but he knew that Herald was experienced, and if anyone could help Jinx, it would be him.
