Life 3: Show me your Power! Tomat vs Koneko!

Spar with him? Spar? Koneko really wants to spar with this dude? We've only just met the guy.

"If it's not too much trouble for you, and if it's alright with you president" Koneko says, as she stands up.

"I'm alright with it" Rias replied "It's now just down whether Tomat is or not"

No way! Rias is alright with it? They can really spar if Tomat agrees to it? This is actually kind of exciting.

Tomat Hesitated, clearly shook by this request.

"Uh, ummm... Alright. I accept your challenge. I will spar with you".

No way this happening. They're actually about to go toe to toe with each other. My eyes widened, but I felt myself starting to get a little exited.

"My body felt a little weird, as if it was new, when I first appeared in this world. But that feeling is gone now." Tomat said as he got up slowly.

Not exactly sure what he meant by that, but I suppose it has been quite the experience for him.

It will be interesting to see how Koneko takes this fight. I'm wondering if she will have to resort to using her Nekomata powers.

We headed outside to the school grounds to where the sparing duel will be held. It was in the exact same place Kiba and I fought Irina and Xenovia when we all first met them. Koneko and Tomat set up for their fight. We're all about to see something go down.

"Well, may the best fighter win" Tomat says as he gets into a starting position, trembling a little.

"Right" Koneko says as she readies herself to fight.

[This will be fun to watch] Ddraig perked up. I looked at my left hand before looking back at the two getting ready to fight. I stood in-between Asia and Ravel, the look of curiosity spread across their faces. Azazel was still inside sleeping. Kind of a shame for him as he would have probably enjoyed watching this.

"Now, you may both begin!" Rias said loudly while holding her left hand up in the air to signal the start of the fight.

Tomat starting by charging forward at Koneko on foot.

"Hrahhhhhhhhh" he shouted while charging, before getting elbowed on the nose by Koneko.

DDDDOOOOSSSHHH

Koneko then kicked him to the ground which sent him skidding a couple of hundred feet across the ground.

He got up slowly actually surprising us with his resilience.

"H-hey nice hit there... your actually pretty strong yourself" He got back up and started spirting quite fast towards her, before starting to bunny hop towards her. "What the heck, this is such a weird style of approach" I thought to myself. Koneko also looked confused. Tomat then took a swing at Koneko's face when he reached her. However Koneko got down on her back, dodging the attack, before kicking him in the belly, sending him flying into the air. "UrrrwwAAAHHH!!!"

Koneko then deployed her demon wings, flying up into the air getting ready to send Tomat back down into the ground.

I looked up into the air along with everyone else, watching as Koneko spiked Tomat back to the ground as if she was playing volleyball.

"What the?! You can fly!?" Tomat exclaimed, falling to the ground. He then turned around facing the ground kinda freaked out. "Oh my goodness I'm about to crash into the ground!" He then held his hands out in front of him with his eyes shut. Before suddenly... SSHHPOW!!!

A burst of light shot from his hands as he was just about to hit the floor. The energy that he shot hit against the ground and managed to send him up a little higher, killing the momentum that he was falling at. He then managed to land safely on his feet, before looking at his hands in wonder.

I, along with the others all looked surprised at what we had just witnessed. "Woah, what he just did kinda resembled your dragon shot, didn't it Issei? I mean I know it was a different colour but it definitely kinda looked the same" Asia said.

"Yeah, I guess it kinda did"

[Not quite, it may have looked similar but I can assure you that the shot that he fired from his hands, was not energy from a dragon.]

Not the energy from a dragon huh. Then what could it have come from?

Tomat continued to look surprised. Koneko soon descended to the ground, landing in front of him from a distance.

"I could definitely feel your power rise a little just there." Koneko stated as she landed. "It seems you discovering this technique allowed your power level to rise." Tomat looked up from his hands to face Koneko, I could notice that everyone around me was intrigued.

"All right then, new power discoveries aside, we're ready to continue this battle!" Tomat said excitedly, getting into position. He then brought his left hand in as he pushed his right hand out in a flat position, managing to fire off another blast at Koneko.

Koneko started to rush towards Tomat, ducking and dodging the blasts that he fires off. When she reached him, she swung out her fist to punch him. However, Tomat managed to block the punch with his right arm, before reaching out with his left and hitting Koneko on the cheek with it. Koneko suddenly jumped back before running back towards him and unleashing a barrage of punches. Tomat now looking a lot more confident was able to block a bunch of Koneko's punches and even managed to hit a handful of his own.

After a while of the back-and-forth hits, Koneko flipped backwards landing a short distance in front of Tomat. She then released a blue blast from her right hand, causing Tomat to freak out and cover his face with his arms. However something sprung the rear end of Tomat that managed to deflect the blast that Koneko shot. Something brown, and soft looking. It was a tail!

Everyone around me started to freak out a little bit. Tomat then moved his arms away from his face, before being taken aback when he saw his tail. "Whaaaaaaaat!!" He shrieked, definitely freaked out by this revelation. He held his tail in his hands lightly. Before looking up, smirking.

"I guess it all makes sense now."

"What does" Koneko and Tomat said back and forth to each other.

"The reason why I'm able to shoot off all of these blasts, my sudden strength, and why my body felt weird when I first arrived in this world." Tomat started to dialogue, he looked as if he had just made some kind of scientific discovery. "My body's biology has changed completely; it seems I'm no longer a human."

No longer a human? This sounds a bit freaky but I was excited to see where this was going, and it looked everyone else around me, including Koneko, did as well.

"It seems I have turned into... a Saiyan..."

What the hecks a Saiyan?

Next life! "Alright, that's enough... you cant stop sparring now" The battle concludes!
