Based on the longtime comic book tradition of taking reviled older characters and turning them into something far more interesting and meaningful, I decided to write some hypothetical adventures for the much-hated Eight/Kali and her crew after they part ways with Eleven at the end of S2E7.

All Joss wanted was to get through her last few months of high school without being noticed, all Billy Hargrove wanted to do was notice her. A story of friendship, falling into lust and a relationship based on the need for control. Joss can see there is more to Billy than he'd like to show the world but can she help him, or will she be pulled down into a spiral of toxic encounters?
