Story Start!

It had been almost 11 months since Jiraiya left.

He was suppose to be gone between 6 and 12 months, so this was still within the expected time range of how long he was suppose to be gone, but he was pushing it to say the least. Focusing on nothing but taijutsu, meditation, chakra control, and physical training for nearly a year, Naruto had found himself reaching something of a peak in his martial arts abilities.

His progress was way slower than it was in the first few months.

Now that he was 14 years old, and his strength and speed started to experience great growth as he entered a growth spurt of his body. He was no longer quite the runty child he was before, and was now a growing teenager.

Snip*

"Waaaaah!"

"Calm down, I'll feed you two when I'm done here." A yuki-onna woman spoke to her newborn baby as she snipped back Naruto's hair. She was just shortening it enough that it wasn't in his eyes, and since she was the only hairdresser in the village, it made sense for her to be the one to take care of his hair. Naruto glanced towards the twin girls who were in a crib together, crying out for their mother to feed them.

Little black haired babies with 2 whisker marks on each cheek, and bright blue eyes with darker blue pupils much like a yuki-onna.

-Later-

"Lovely haircut Naruto-kun, it looks sharp on you."

"Mmmhmmm." Naruto hummed in agreement as he nodded to a yuki-onna woman who was carrying a baby through the village. A little white haired girl with 2 whisker marks on each cheek, and the woman next to her was also carrying a white haired baby with whisker marks. All of them had those same blue eyes though. Naruto reached up and rubbed his own whisker marks, and the babies reached out for him when they saw his face.

More whisker marks.

"Oh, Naruto-kun, my daughter was looking for you. She wanted to ask you if you could do a favor for her."

"Sure."

-That Night-

Triplets.

2 girl yuki-onna, and a boy, all of them had 2 whisker marks on each cheek. While the girls were Yuki-onna and had ice powers from birth, the boy was just a human with high cold resistance... though technically he was called a Yuki-otoko. He was human in body only, and wasn't quite considered your normal human.

Of the 37 children born in the last month, he was the only boy.

Actually, in the 103 children born in the last 2 months, he was the only boy among them at all. Still, Naruto could only wonder if there was going to be another boy born in the next few months to give this boy somebody to play rough with. Being the only boy born out of this generation would be a very sad thing for him. There were still plenty of women who were pregnant, and every day a new baby was born to the village.

"Oh, thank you for watching them for me Naruto-kun, these babies just love it when you look after them."

"It's no problem." Naruto smiled when the mother entered through the front door, and he finished babysitting. As a ninja, he was used to doing small jobs like this anyway.

"I was helping my sister give birth, and she gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She's still at the hospital if you want to go see them. As the man of the village, I'm sure it would be a nice treat to see you there."

-At the Hospital-

'So many babies with whisker marks.' Naruto passed through the hospital hallways, and passed right by the maternity ward, where he could see 16 baby girls were lined up and being cared for by the nurses as their mothers recovered. Some of the younger mothers around Naruto's age had struggled more, and needed more time to recover.

All the babies had whisker marks.

"Take it easy, this is your 2nd pregnancy, you don't want to overdue it." The doctor spoke in the hallway to a woman who was carrying a 2 month old baby in her arms, a young girl with dark purple hair and blue eyes, with whisker marks on her cheeks. She was smiling to recieve the news that she was pregnant again, and smiled at Naruto as he passed by the doctor and the expecting mother. "Ah, Naruto, the new mother who wants to see you is 3 doors down."

"I know the way." Naruto had made this trip many times now.

Since it was his genetics that made the drug that allowed so many women to give birth, many wanted to thank him in person and name their children for them. He had named almost all of the children that had been born in the past few months, almost all of them. The funny thing was that some of the women who had given birth a few months ago were already pregnant again with their 2nd or 3rd children.

"I'll bet you do."

Naruto made his way into the room, and saw a woman nursing a newborn baby off of her cherry-like nipples. He sat down besides her bed, but she was too obsessed with staring into the blue eyes of her newborn baby to notice him right away. She did notive him eventually though, with tears in her eyes.

"She's... so beautiful... thank you... thank you so much for coming to this village... and allowing me to have her."

"It's no big deal, I was happy to help." Naruto reached out, and he felt a connection with the baby as his finger traced along the little whisker marks she had on her cheeks. She was a baby, but her skin was ice cold, showing that she had been born a yuki-onna, a happy and healthy yuki-onna.

"You should name her."

"How about Yuyukihime?" Naruto offered the first name that came to his mind. He had named so many babies at this point, that it was kind of hard for him to keep track of all of the different names he had given. He was going to struggle to remember all of their names for sure. Still, he was happy for each and every one of them.

They all had such loving mothers.

All of the mother's gazed at their newborn babies with such love, and compassion. There was an unconditional affection in those eyes, a warmth that didn't typically belong in eyes that were naturally so chilling. Naruto was almost a little jealous that he had never gotten to know his own mother, and if his mother had looked at him with those eyes when he was born. He knew both of his parents died the day he was born, but not much else about them other than that.

"Yuyukihime... I love it."

'I just randomly thought it up, but I'm glad she likes it.' Naruto could hear the soft way she whispered the baby's name. He gave her a little wave, and walked out of the room to give her privacy as she nursed her baby. It was a little awkward for him to watch. He should be used to seeing it though.

He was pretty sure that he knew what over half of the yuki-onna's nipples looked like from memory at this point, since they didn't hesitate to pull out a tit to feed their babies in the middle of the road. It was always a great sight to see. The colors typically changed from an almost cherry red, to the softests of pinks you could imagine.

Naruto walked through the hallway.

There was a witch talking to the doctor he had passed by earlier.

"I've come to deliver this to you, but why do you need it?"

"I just want to run a few experiments, and need this to test the long term effects of something."

'A witch, you don't see them around very often. Since they don't have any cold resistances at all.' Naruto had seen a few other types of monsters vacation in the village, but typically only those who could resist the cold well. Naruto passed by the window into the newborn baby's room, and he placed a hand on the glass as he looked right into the room once more. '... it's so weird seeing so many whisker marks... guess the fertility drug has a few side effects.' Naruto grinned to himself awkwardly.

There was one baby in the room that had a heart-shaped jawline that was suspiciously like his own, but he didn't remember if the mother of that child had a jaw like his or not. It could also be a side effect of his DNA being used to make the drug. He guessed that some of the kids might show a feature or two of his.

Still, every since the babies started being born... he had become even more popular in the village.

Actually, he was being praised and doted on more than ever, with every single woman looking at him like he was some sort of godly hero. There wasn't a single business in the village that would accept his money, and he never went hungry. By the time he even started to notice he was hungry, it was like a yuki-onna would appear out of nowhere with something for him to eat. They all knew his stomach like the back of their hands, with the intensity of a stalker following their prey.

"Oh, Naruto-kun."

"Yeah?"

"Since I don't have a last name, can I give my baby your last name... you know... since she could only be born because of you?"

"Sure, I don't mind, as long as you don't mind your daughter sharing a last name with a knucklehead like me." Naruto joked at his own expense. Now this was a first for him. None of the mothers had asked to use his last name for their babies. Most of the yuki-onna in the village had family names of their own to use. He didn't mind if any of them wanted to use his last name or not, since it wasn't like he was going to stay in this world forever.

-Days Later-

This was excessive though.

Like a plague, it was only days before every baby had their last names changed to Uzumaki. Once news got out that he was okay with name changes like that, the Uzumaki name spread like wildfire. Naruto didn't mind too much, but even he was a little put off by how fast it caught on. Now each and every once of the babies in the village shared the same last name as him.

He also named all of them, and they all had whisker marks.

'It's almost like I'm their dad.' Naruto laughed awkwardly.

"Naruto!"

"Pervy Sage! You're back, it's about time you old pervert!" Naruto turned around and kicked Jiraiya right in the shin. Jiraiya was grinning at Naruto, like a cat that caught a canary. Jiraiya wrapped an arm around Naruto's shoulders.

"I can see that somebodies been busy, and you've grown taller brat." Jiraiya had seen all of the whisker marked children as he walked through the village. He had come with pretty good news actually.

So, there was kind of a way home.

The dimensions overlapped at different barriers at different times, and while it wasn't easy to predict when a certain monster barrier would overlap with their home dimension, it was now possible for to potentially find a barrier that was the way home. It also meant that eventually, another shimmering portal could open back up in the same place where they came to this world from.

According to his research, the time range between portal openings was about 22 to 27 years, and when the portal opened, it stayed open for about 7 hours before closing again. That meant that it would be between 21 and 26 possible years before a portal opened back up in the Yuki-onna village.

If it did open again.

At the same time, it was possible for portals to open up somewhere else much sooner.

If he could just future out a pattern to the portals opening up, then it would be possible for him to calculate the location and about-time of the next portal opening. So long as the next portal opened in the next 7 years, they would be able to get home just fine. Again, that was if anymore portals opened up anymore, but it was better to hope for the best and prepare for the worst, than to just give up hope.

"Hell yeah I've been busy, I've gotten way stronger!" Naruto grinned and flexed an arm.

Jiraiya blinked.

"You've... training... oh... yeah, I guess you've gotten a wee bit stronger." Jiraiya downplayed any progress Naruto might have made. He wondered if Naruto understood what he had been talking about when he mentioned getting busy. "So... this is a lot of babies, guess this village has had a baby boom."

"Yeah, I think about... well, counting the births today... maybe 110 babies have been born since you've left. Give or take a few." Naruto couldn't remember the super exact number of babies born. He looked up at Jiraiya, who was just giving him the most proud, yet disappointed face he had ever seen on the man.

"The student has become the master it seems." Jiraiya nodded with pride.

"Whatever, stop being weird. Tell me what the next part of my training should be." Naruto demanded as he kicked Jiraiya again, only this time harder than before. He had been working on his taijutsu and experiencing daily ass kickings for over 11 months.

"You want to be Hokage, right?"

"Yeeeaaaaah?" Naruto asked with a suspicious tone.

"Well, being Hokage is about more than just being strong. It's also about being smart..."

"I don't like where this is going." Naruto had a weird feeling that something was about to be said that he wasn't going to like at all. Getting smarter sounded like a training that he just did not want to go through.

"Well, next year, once you're 15... you're going to high school, so until then, you're going to study your ass off to catch up with the other kids your age... while also keeping up with your taijutsu training." Jiraiya tossed a math book right at Naruto's face. It bounced off, and landed in the snow, with Naruto picking the book up.

"I refuse."

"As my apprentice, I'm ordering you to start studying. By the time we return home, I'll have you surpassing the 4th Hokage... if you think an idiot like you can even begin to match the brilliance of his genius." Jiraiya mocked Naruto.

It worked.

"Fine, I'll go to school, but you better teach me a cool ninjutsu while I'm studying to get into school." Naruto demanded.

"I'll do you one better. Now that you're almost 15, I'll teach you how to make your own ninjutsu... but first..." Jiraiya placed his hand on top of Naruto's head and twisted his neck. He looked at the back of Naruto's head, examined him, before looking him in the face. "... yeah, totally wind affinity. Remember Sasuke's Chidori, he had to master lightning elemental chakra to do that... and you have wind elemental chakra, which beats lightning."

Naruto was excited to hear that.

"So you're going to teach me how to do wind ninjutsu!?" Naruto asked, hyped up.

"HAH! No, I'm going to give you tips on how to learn it, so you can practice while you're at school. Here... I want you to use nothing but your chakra to cut this lead ball in half."

"How?"

"Figure it out yourself brat, I'm not going to hold your hand. You're a shinobi, not some child." Jiraiya waved off Naruto's question. He already gave him a task to do. Jiraiya pulled out an iron ball, no bigger than a large marble, before it split right in half down the middle, a clean cut. "Do that."

"So helpful..." Naruto deadpanned.

"If you master wind chakra, there is a small chance you might be able to do something even the 4th couldn't do."

Oh, that sounded like a challenge.

Naruto loved a good challenge.
