Story Start!

They were not in the same class at all.

He and Mizore were in different homeroom classes, meaning they would only get to see each other in the hallways and in the lunch room, or after class was over. Still, he wasn't as concerned over that as he was the fact that he was sitting next to an 11 year old girl in a witch's hat and cape. He was in a class with people who were giving off all kinds of bad vibes.

'Those guys are... so pretentious.' Naruto leaned back in his chair.

"Hey, button up your shirt, it's against school regulations to wear your uniform so sloppily." One of the male students, a large guy with very dry looking skin. He was followed by a fatty with greasy black hair, and a skinny guy with a shaved haircut and a stringy body. The trio looked like they knew each other, and gave off the same kind of vibe that Kiba and Akamaru gave off.

They were a pack.

"I'm just going to ignore you, because you can't make me change." Naruto didn't feel an ounce of threat from them at all. Class was over for the day, and he had slept through most of the first class. He closed his eyes and started to try and snooze again. He would wait until Mizore came and visited him so that they could walk to the dorms together.

The guy flicked him in the side of the head.

Naruto continued to ignore him, even when he got slapped in the back of the skull a lot harder than a flick. It didn't really hurt, it was more annoying than anything.

"Well, I'm not going to ignore you, because people who stick out disgust me to my core."

"Cool, well, I'm from the Yuki-onna village, so this warm air bothers me, so I guess we're going to both be bothered." Naruto had his shirt unbuttoned halfway because it helped him stay cooler. His sucker helped a lot. The yukatas he was used to wearing showed a lot of skin, so this was the style of clothes he had gotten used to over the course of almost 2 years. Naruto continued to ignore the student as he was smacked and flicked. These love taps wouldn't bother him considering how hard he beat himself when he trained.

"So... you're a Yuki-Otoko... doesn't that mean you're pretty much just a human who likes the cold... damn... to think that such a weak species is acting so tough. You're barely a monster, you're just a damn human who has a little monster genetics."

"Yeah, yeah, call me whatever you want, I really don't care. Call me a human, call me a Yuki-Otoko, heck, call me a Shinobi or Witch if you want. I do not care." Naruto wondered if being called a Yuki-Otoko was accurate or not at this point, considering he was pretty much only comfortable in the cold anymore, and he considered the yuki-onna village to be his home. His scratched his chin in thought.

"Witch?"

"Hmmm?" Naruto hummed as he looked at the young girl sitting next to him. She reacted when he said witch, and considering the way she was dressed, kind of obvious that was what she was. He only mentioned it because he had met a few witches at the hospital in the yuki-onna village, so he knew they were kind of like magical humans, the same way shinobi were kind of like magical humans. Naruto turned his head away from her, and he lowered his clothe headband over his eyes so that he could snooze in darkness. 'What is taking Mizore so long?' Naruto wondered as he leaned his head back.

"Speaking of Witch... Yukari Sendo, you better not wear that outfit again tomorrow, it's against school rules."

'So, I guess she is a Witch.' Naruto hummed to himself as targets got switched. The bully started to walk around him to get to the girl on his other side, so Naruto just stuck his leg out and tripped the student. That was all he did, but it worked as the guy fell to the ground and faced laughter as other students saw him trip. In that instant, the target went from the girl back to Naruto, as he was grabbed by his shirt and forced to his feet.

His headband was pulled off of his eyes.

"You... you little punk, do you think a weakling like you should be acting so high and mighty... you're one of her kind, a human parading themselves as a monster."

"Yep, I'm a human calling myself a monster. Total human here. Hey everyone, did you hear me, I'm a human, you heard that right. I'm just a human parading myself as a monster!" Naruto called out to the classroom as he grabbed the bully by the wrist, squeezed it so that the man let go of him. Naruto then twisted his wrists, both of them, downwards and got a pop from both of them. "... Move your arms if you can." Naruto challenged the bully.

"You think you can... stop..." The man tried to move his arms away from where Naruto was holding them, and he jerked upwards to try and get them to move, but Naruto didn't let go. His two friends behind him were looking at each other with concern. He looked back at them, and they reached out to grab Naruto's arms for him. They all worked together to try and move Naruto's arms, to force him to release their leader from his grasp.

All three of them working together couldn't force Naruto to move his arms, and not a single one of them could make him let go.

"Let go of me you stupid..."

"No, I don't think I will let go of you. Come on, make me let go... oh... I'm a human right, so since I'm a weak human, you should just be able to force me to let go... right?" Naruto was smiling, cheerfully, as he made fun for himself. When he taunted the guy, he tried even harder to make Naruto let go, but got nothing for his actions. He couldn't get Naruto to budge an inch.

So, in anger, he slammed his forehead against Naruto's head, but it didn't succeed in making Naruto let go of him.

"Okay, so maybe you aren't a human... so let go of me."

"No, no. I am human, you called it earlier, I'm just a human pretending to be a monster. You big scary monsters caught me. Looks like it's death for me." Naruto continued to taunt him with a friendly grin. Naruto moved his arms up, and brought them to his face. Naruto slapped the man in the face with his own hands, before he used the man's hands to scratch the back of his own head. Naruto used the man's hands the way he wanted to use them.

'His grip is so tight... I can't even control my fingers...' The student thought as he tried to scratch Naruto with his fingernails, but he couldn't move his fingers the way he wanted to, or even at all. He was forced to watch with humiliation as Naruto picked forced him to pick his nose.

"Dude, picking your nose with girls around, totally not cool... man. What a nice guy, he's letting a human like me pretend to be strong... he's acting like he isn't strong enough to break my grip... such a cool guy." Naruto used the bullies hands to wipe away his own fake tears. He got giggles for his act, and laughs from other students.

That was the breaking point.

The man gained 100 pounds in bulk as he transformed into a lizardman form, and not just him, but his allies transformed as well. All of them transformed into their larger monster forms. They moved quickly, but Naruto let go of the bully and punched the 2 allies in the gut hard enough to lift them both off of their feet, before they collapsed to the floor holding their bellies, the wind knocked from their lungs. Their leader lunged at him with open jaws.

Naruto formed a Rasengan and held it in his mouth.

That stopped him.

"You bite down, you die... go ahead, I'm willing to lose an arm over this, are you willing to lose your head?" Naruto asked him, because the second he had formed the Rasengan, the message was sent. The fact his tongue was getting burned from the friction of touching the Rasengan, and blood was pooling in his mouth, was enough to prove his point to the bully. Naruto cancelled out his Rasengan, pulled his hand from his mouth, before picking his headband up off the ground and tying it back around his head.

Naruto sat back down.

"You..."

"Yeah, yeah. Be as mad at me as you want, but I'm out of your league. I'm just a human pretending to be a monster... but I can turn you into a monster pretending to be a corpse." Naruto threatened as he yawned, and closed his eyes. The bully trio walked off, transforming back into their human forms, and there was a chair sliding over to his desk. Naruto glanced at the source, and he saw the little witch girl staring at him.

...

"That was really cool, I've never met a Boundary Being who can stand up to a monster like that."

'The hell is a Boundary Being?' Naruto wondered as he looked up at the ceiling, before he looked back down to Yukari, and saw her sitting at his desk with him. He rubbed his chin in thought. '... Ah... She's a witch, so I guess monsters see her as a human, but humans see her as a monster. I guess Yuki-otoko are seen the same way... would Shinobi be seen like that too?' Naruto wondered to himself with a tilted head.

"Still, I wouldn't go calling yourself a human like that. It's against school rules to be human, and breaking the rule is a death sentence. I get you were playing along with his bullying... but you shouldn't call yourself a human. I mean, you're a yuki-otoko who worked hard to learn magic, take pride in your monster blood." Yukari lectured him over the weirdest part. Naruto took his sucker out of his mouth, and he looked at his loose fitting clothes. "Thanks for standing up for me." Yukari thanked him.

He scratched his cheek.

'Did I defend her?' Naruto didn't remember really doing much to defend her. All he did was trip a bully who was about to pick on her. He did what anyone in their right mind would do. She smiled at him though, so he smiled back at her. "No problem. Anyway... 3... 2... 1..." Naruto stated.

BOOM*

Smoke came from the hallway and went into the classroom.

"Yep, the smokebomb I put in his shirt went off... that dye will stick to his skin for days." Naruto wafted the red smoke away from his face. He had done it quickly, but he had put a red smoke bomb in the bullies shirt, and set it to go off. The dye was so intense that the explosion would release colored smoke that would dye anything within 2 feet of it a deep red color.

Yukari watched the student come back into the classroom with a red face, the dye having changed his color from tan to red.

"You... you..."

"Hey now, careful, the next one is going up your ass." Naruto pulled out a green smoke bomb with a grin. Laughter spread among the other students. "You could fight me, but I would win... oh... I know, why don't you go and tell somebody that a human beat you, and your friends, in a fight. Then, he put a smokebomb in your shirt and humiliated you after he made you walk away in shame..." Naruto saw Mizore entering the classroom, and she gave the red faced lizardman a strange look, before she smiled at Naruto and walked over to him.

"Sorry, I thought you were coming to pick me up at my classroom."

"It's cool, I thought you were coming to get me. I guess we both had the same thought. Hey Mizore, this guy called me a human." Naruto pointed to the Lizardman.

She giggled.

"That's silly of him, I've never met anyone stronger than you in all my village. Hey, just a warning, but we have a crater in the side of a mountain named after him. If you fight this guy, you're going to lose." Mizore revealed something that sent a shiver down many spines.

A crater in a mountain named after somebody was a scary statement.

"... Wait, they named that crater after me. That's so flipping cool, I didn't know they named that crater after me. Oooooh, why didn't they tell me they did that. The Naruto Crater sounds so cool." Naruto was giddy when he heard there was a crater named after him.

Mizore nodded.

"The forest you trained in got nicknamed too. The Maelstrom Woods, because of all the spiral shaped craters in the ground." Mizore explained the other part of the village that got named after him. "There is also the Uzumaki Hospital Wing, because of all the babies born with your last name." Mizore pointed to him.

He was smiling proudly.

"That is just awesome... Maelstrom Woods sounds so badass and dangerous. Okay, lets go to the dorms-" Naruto's head was frozen solid moments later when Mizore reached out and touched his face, and she looked at his bully.

"Seriously, if he was a regular human, do you think he could survive in a Yuki-onna village this long. He's the strongest man in the village for a reason." Mizore looked at the bully with nothing but disgust and threatening eye language. With Naruto's head frozen, he couldn't hear what was being said, but he reached up and shattered the ice around himself.

"Not cool Mizore."

"It was freezing cold actually." Mizore punned at him in response.

"Instant noodles in my room?" Naruto asked her, and she nodded her head. They started to walk out of the classroom with that stated. "... So... that crater is really the Naruto Crater?" Naruto asked her with a grin growing back.

"It is."

"Awesome." Naruto whispered.

-In The Dorms-

"So... you just came out and called yourself a human?"

"Well, yeah, but I doubt anyone is going to believe I'm actually a human. I'm pretty sure they are just going to think I was being sarcastic and all that stuff, to make a point. Even that witch girl thought I was just joking... I mean, I did show off the Rasengan." Naruto made a Rasengan, and then made it disappear, to prove a point. He showed off strength and 'magic' that wasn't human, so even if he admitted to being human, he doubted anyone would believe him. They would just assume he was playing around and joking.

The harder you tried to hide something, the more obvious it became you were hiding something.

"Hot... how can you not stand room temp, but you can eat this." Mizore hissed as she cooled down the hot ramen. Naruto was sweating through his clothes from the heat, but he refused to stop eating from his cup of noodles.

Naruto smiled.

"Ramen is best enjoyed hot, but yeah... It is really hot." Naruto couldn't handle heat anymore, so he was sweating while eating. Just because he couldnt' handle the heat didn't mean he wanted to stop eating. Naruto unloaded the suckers from his bag into the small freezer that was kept in his room. "Do you have one of these?" Naruto asked.

"Yuki-onna get freezers in our rooms to keep these suckers in, and the AC in our rooms goes cooler than other rooms. It was that way for my mom too." Mizore pointed out.

"I'm human though."

"Mom listed you as a Yuki-otoko when she signed filled out the school paperwork, so you get the same treatment as I do. Your room is kept colder and you get a freezer." Mizore explained, so he nodded his head. "I mean, you lived in the village for almost 2 years, she figured you would be more comfortable being treated like one of us... I mean... you are one of us... right?" Mizore asked him, shifting her gaze away.

He grinned.

"I've never felt more at home than with you gals, so yeah, I'm one of you guys." Naruto accepted the label.

He was a human.

Still, if people wanted to call him a monster, he would accept that title too.
