A week later
Ava laid on the bed, feeling tired for some apparent reason as she watched Ronan read a book on jedi and writing down notes on his diary. She smiled knowing how much her brother wanted to become a jedi like their father.
"Hey Ava," She heard her brother call to her, making her look up sleepily.
"Yeah what is it," She asked, yawning.
"How do you spell Kyber," He asked holding up the book he had been reading.
"And which ones do I use,"
She looked over his shoulder and slightly frowned when she saw it was cyber before looking at her brother.
"Ronan, there is no c in kyber," She explained.
"You spell kyber with a k and as for the kyber crystals, the color calls to you through the force. It takes a lot of concentration and understanding within the force in order to find the color for the blade of your lightsaber. Do you understand me, ronan,"
Ronan nodded his head in understanding in reply after hearing his sister's explanation.
"By the way why did you pick pink anyway," Ronan asked.
"For the last time, it's not pink," Ava replied, looking at him unamused.
"It's purple and I picked it to honor one of my favorite jedi of the past, Mace Windu,"
"I thought you picked it because you're a girl," Ronan snickered teasingly, causing his older sister to throw a pillow at him.
They both stopped when they heard their mother shushed them but doing her best not to yell for someone below will hear them.
"Sorry, mom," He whispered softly as he crossed out cyber in his notebook and started rewriting the word.
Meanwhile on the lower floor or main room of the bakery
"I hope Kaya comes back soon or rather the resistance gets here," Tasha said as she swept up the floor.
"Have faith Tasha," one of her coworkers assured her.
"She'll be back,"
"I hope your right," Tasha replied smiling softly before returning to her sweeping.
Suddenly, the doors to the bakery were busted open making all the staff look up.
"Nobody move!" The Stormtroopers yelled as they burst through the building, holding up their blasters.
Tasha and the workers dropped everything they were holding and slowly held their hands up as the Stormtroopers made way for both the jedi killer and the tall silver Stormtrooper captain. Everyone knew who these two masked beings are. The masked man in black is known as Kylo ren and beside him is Captain Phasma. They both looked at the workers, examining them one by one.
"We have been told that you were hiding force sensitives," Kylo Ren said.
"We don't know what you're talking about!" One of the workers yelled, shaking with fright.
The worker is silenced when Kylo Ren raised his right hand, freezing him while walking toward him.
"I will see to it then," He said as he used the force to get into the worker's head.
The worker struggled to get free but to no avail. He was close to letting out a painful scream but he suddenly found himself dropping to the ground, panting in shock.
"They are upstairs," Kylo ren said looking at the fear stricken man on the floor before turning to the rest of the staff.
"Where is the woman named Tasha?"
"I am Tasha," A short petite woman said as she slowly stepped into the middle, with her left hand raised.
"You will lead us to the force sensitives now," He ordered as he pushed the small petite woman in the front. She lead them upstairs to the second floor where they have come across a book case which in reality is used as a barrier to protect the Skywalker family. The Stormtroopers became confused as to why they have come to a bookcase but the knight of ren sensed there are people behind the bookcase. He swiftly turned to fragile woman who is held at gunpoint by the Stormtrooper captain.
"Now show us what's behind that bookcase," Kylo Ren ordered.
Tasha gulped in fear as her hands her started to shake in fear. She slowly made her way to the bookcase and slowly moved it out of the way, revealing a large light brown door.
"In.." Captain Phasma ordered as the small woman opened the door that led to the skywalker family.
Tonia pov
Tonia heard the door open, making her look up from her knitting to see Tasha standing at the doorway but her eyes widened in shock to see a tall metal Stormtrooper behind her along with the man dressed in black and the troop or first order troopers.
"I'm sorry," Tasha sobbed quietly.
"Search the building!" Captain Phasma ordered, making the storm troopers nod and search throughout the annex.
"No!" Tonia yelled as she ran to find her children but Kylo Ren held up his hand in front of her, freezing her.
"You know well then to interfere…..Tonia Skywalker,"
Tonia's eyes widened in shock and horror as she remained paralyzed, forced to watch the Stormtroopers search through the annex looking for her children. It didn't take them that long when she heard her daughter's frightened shriek. Tonia struggled to break free as she helplessly watched her children be dragged out of the room by two Stormtroopers who roughly pushed them toward the center of the room.
"Mom!" They both cried seeing her in a paralyzed condition.
"Ava, Ronan get over here now!" Tonia cried, as she still struggled to break free.
Ava and Ronan ran to their mother but the stormtroopers stopped them by firmly placing both their hands on their shoulders to hold them in place. Kylo ren then released the dark skinned woman from her paralysis, causing her to gasp hoarsely while allowing Phasma to grab her roughly and pointing a gun at her.
"Where do you keep your lightsabers," Kylo Ren asked as soon as the whole family is present.
"You will find them in the closet over there," Tonia replied gesturing to the closet in front of her with her head.
"Go get it," Kylo ren ordered to two nearby Stormtroopers who nodded and walked over to the closet, taking out the wooden chest.
As the chest is placed on the table for everyone to see, Kylo Ren raised his right hand, using the force to unlock the chest holding the two light sabers as well as the other devices and kyber crystals needed to construct them.
"This one's incomplete," Kylo ren said as he held up Owen's uncompleted jet black lightsaber, examining it for a brief moment before putting it back in the chest.
He then picked up another lightsaber which is silver and blue, while activating it to reveal a bright magenta blade.
"Who's lightsaber is this," Kylo Ren asked, expected the magenta light saber.
"That's mine," Ava answered, raising her hand up.
"I made it myself,"
"Where did you get the materials needed to create a light saber?" Kylo Ren asked, his gaze still on her lightsaber.
"It was back at the jedi academy where our father Luke Skywalker had taught," Ava said with pride in her tone, letting everyone know she is not afraid.
This Stormtroopers including Phasma were surprised and shock when she spoke of her father as Kylo Ren deactivated her lightsaber and placed it on the his belt.
"How long have you been in hiding," Kylo ren demanded, as his gaze returned to the family.
"Three years," Ronan gulping in fear.
"We finally found you," Kylo ren said as he looked at them for a brief moment before turning to Phasma and her troops.
"Put them on board," Kylo Ren ordered once again.
"I feel they can be of use to us,"
The Stormtroopers were surprised that their commander is letting Skywalker family live but they nodded without question as they immediately placed the family in handcuffs and walked them out of the building by the arm.
"Thank you for your support to the first order," Both Ava and Ronan overheard Phasma speak to a local aqualish woman as they watched the tall metal Stormtrooper hand her a bag of what appeared to be credits.
Ava sensed her brother's anger as he glared at the aqualish woman who took the bag of money from Phasma, while watching them be carried away toward the ships with a malicious smirk as if telling them, "This is what you deserve."
Before they stepped foot on the platform of the ships, shots can be heard from not too far away along with screams of agony. Both the siblings watched in horror as everyone who had protected and sheltered them were slaughtered as they were led on board.
"Don't look," Tonia ordered, shutting her eyes from the horrible massacre.
"Sit there," One of the stormtroopers ordered as they forcibly shoved them down to the floor.
The doors then closed once Kylo ren, Phasma and the other storm troopers got on board. The only thing the family could do is huddle together in fear and silence with the echoes of the horrifying screams haunting their fragile minds.
