They don't know how long they have been held captive in the First Order shuttle. Everything around the ship is deadly silent, including the Stormtroopers as the cold air brushed past the ankles of the Skywalker family. Ava's heart started beating rapidly as she tried her best to put on her brave face to show she is not afraid. She felt her younger brother's hand entwined with hers, his fingers quaking in fear.
"This is it," Ronan whispered, shaking in fear.
"We're going to die,"
"No we're not," Ava whispered back.
"I'm not going to let that happen,"
"You mean it," Ronan asked, while innocently looking up at his sister.
Ava nodded her head with a warm smile, which had earned her a hug from her younger brother. Tonia smiled at the heart warming moment shared between her two children. Both her children looked at their mother and crawled over to her, wrapping their arms around her.
"We got you mom," Ava said, hugging her mother along with her brother.
"I know baby," Tonia replied smiling softly while patting each of their hands.
"I know,"
As the entire family hugged, they didn't notice Kylo Ren peering over his shoulder, staring at them. Ava and Ronan noticed before staring back at him.
"Commander, we're about to land in the Finalizer," They hear the pilot call to them.
"Very good, pilot," Kylo Ren replied as he turned away from the siblings.
"We're here," Ronan whispered.
"I Know," Tonia replied nodding her head.
"Stay close to me both of you,"
"Yes mom," Both Ava and Ronan said in unison.
They felt the ship land in what appeared to be a large space station. The doors opened in front of everyone bringing in the bright light into the dark ship, causing the family to shield their eyes.
"On your feet!" They hear one of the Stormtroopers yell as they were roughly pulled by their arms and led out of the shuttle.
Once they were completely out, they started to gawk at the entire docking port that is filled from jet black tie fighters on both sides.
"Holy…" Ronan said in awe before his mother interrupted him.
"Don't say it,"
"Captain," They hear Kylo Ren yell to the tall silver Stormtrooper.
"Take them to their cells,"
Captain Phasma nodded as she turned to her troops, pointing to the family to escort them to their prison cells. The troopers nodded as they walked over to the family and took each of them by the arms, leading them out of the docking area. However, before they were reached the prison cell, Ronan noticed one of the troopers grabbing his sister by the back of her neck, causing her hiss in pain.
"Get your hands off her!" Ronan yelled in anger trying to swing his fist at the trooper who touched his sister, despite in handcuffs.
"Ronan stop!" Both Tonia and Ava yelled as they restrained their brother from attacking the storm trooper.
As they held Ronan back, they noticed Phasma approaching them while glaring at them behind her helmet in a menacing way.
"If you three don't behave yourselves, I will see to that you will be locked in separate cells," Phasma threatened glaring at them.
Ava, now feeling intimidated by the tall silver Stormtrooper kept her mouth shut as she held her brother close to her.
"Now move!" Phasma ordered as they kept walking while being roughly held by the Stormtroopers. They finally reached a large door which lead to what they assumed to be a prison cell. Ava heard a click underneath her, making her look down to see the troopers unlocking her handcuffs followed by her mother and roughly shoved Tonia in first before shoving both Ava and Ronan in after her. Luckily, Tonia is able to catch both her children before they reach the floor.
"I need you two to stand guard and make sure they don't escape," They hear Phasma order to two nearby troopers.
"Yes captain," One of the troopers replied as the door sealed shut in front of them, leaving them to ponder in their thoughts.
Ava ran her hand through her dark hair as she looked down at the floor while letting out a deep sigh. Although she should be shaking in fear after being taken in custody by the First Order but she can't help but wonder about the masked man in black.
"Can it really be him," Ava thought as she slowly sat down on the ground, pulling her knees up to her chest.
Her mother and brother joined her shortly while scooting closer together. They looked at each other and then at the ceiling.
"We were betrayed…." Ronan said, hoarsely as he kept his gaze on the ceiling.
"I know," Ava replied, as she felt a chill run down her spine.
"I hope that damned merchant who betrayed us gets whats coming to her,"
"Ava, that is not your attitude to have," Tonia scolded, causing her daughter to huffed in slight anger while resting her head down on her knees.
"I'm just angry that someone would sell us out," Ava ranted.
"I know but you're not the only one who's angry," Tonia replied, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"I am angry too but I didn't let it get to me,"
"I know this might sound off but there was something familiar about him," Ronan said, as both his mother and sister looked at him.
"The one with the mask,"
"I felt it too," Ava replied nodding her head in agreement.
"I didn't want to believe it but…."
"But what?" Their mother asked, looking confused.
"We think Kylo Ren is Ben…." Ava answered, her voice shaking.
"How can you be sure," Tonia asked, becoming shock.
"We felt it…through the force," Ronan replied.
Ava sighed sadly, holding her head down while remembering her dear cousin, Ben Solo.
"If it's really Ben…then I must know why he would turn…." She spoke softly.
Before either her younger brother or mother could speak, they hear the door to their cell open as Kylo Ren walked in, his gaze never leacing their sight.
"Ava Skywalker, you are needed," Kylo Ren said as he walked over to the eldest skywalker and took her by the arm, escorting her out of the cell.
"Ava!" She heard her mother cried as Kylo Ren led her out of their cell.
Ava looked back at her mother and brother before the cell door shut behind her. Before she could blink, she felt Kylo Ren firmly drag her by the arm down the hall while mentally braced herself for what dreadful fate awaits her.
