It had been nearly an hour since the Skywalker family had been taken captive by the First Order. Ava sat in the corner with her hands pressed against her chest and her eyes red from crying. Both her mother and brother did their best to console her, whispering sweet comforts to her.
"I know Ben is in there," Ava whimpered, hoarsely as her body visibly shook.
"Why did he turn…"
"I don't know baby," Tonia whispered, softly holding her daughter close to her and gently wiped the tears off her cheeks.
Ronan felt sad, watching his sister in such a broken state. It pained him to see her shaken with grief and fear but deep down he is also scared as well.
"I'm wondering the same thing," Ronan thought as he remembered looking up to Ben like an older brother when they were younger.
As he watched his mother calm down his older sister, he looked up at the Stormtroopers who stood guard at their cell door. He then remembered a trick both his older sister and father taught them when they were at the jedi academy together. He took in a deep breath while keeping his gaze concentrated on the Stormtroopers guarding their cell door.
"You will let us out of this cell with the door open," Ronan ordered, causing the Stormtroopers to turn toward his direction.
"Ronan, what are you doing," Tonia whispered, scared for her youngest son's life.
"What did you say you little brat!" One of the Stormtroopers hissed as they came over to the family with their guns focused on the medium brown skinned boy.
Ronan took a deep breath, keeping his gaze locked onto the Stormtroopers standing over him.
"You will let us out of this cell with the door open," Ronan repeated.
Then, suddenly the two Stormtroopers stood still now completely controlled with the boy's force influence.
"We will let you out of this cell with the door open." They said, before the second Stormtrooper walked over to the control panel, punching in the code which caused the door to open.
"And you drop your blasters," Ronan added before the Stormtroopers walked out the door.
"And we will drop our blasters," They said, throwing their blasters to the ground while walking away.
Both his mother and sister blinked in surprise at what they had just seen but they do know for fact that if they are going to escape, this is their one chance. After the Stormtroopers left under the influence of Ronan's force influence, they immediately ran out of the room with their blasters in hand.
"Ronan, I've taught you well," Ava thought, smiling at her younger brother as they continued running trying to find an escape route.
Kylo Ren Pov
Kylo ren walked over to the bridge of the Finalizer where the red headed general stood with his hands behind his back, observing his coworkers working left and right below them restlessly.
"Tell me Ren," General Hux spoke, turning to face the knight of Ren.
"Why did you choose to spare them. Usually, you would eliminate any jedi or padawan across the galaxy,"
"I have my reasons," Kylo Ren replied.
"I feel they can be of use to us to find Luke Skywalker and to also save you the trouble of finding a suitable wife…one that will submit to your every need.
"Since when do you care about my wellbeing," General Hux hissed with an annoyed tone.
"Be grateful I got you a suitable wife who will bare you powerful heirs," Kylo ren snarled behind his mask.
"Even the Supreme Leader approves of my idea,"
"And what idea did you tell him?" General Hux asked, still annoyed.
"That you marry my cousin, Ava Skywalker,"
This caught General Hux off guard but he refused to show it in front of the other officers working tirelessly.
"I will do no such thing," General Hux snarled in pure anger.
"Why would you choose a padawan as a suitable wife for me?! Do you think this stupid idea…"
"This stupid idea is approved by Supreme leader snoke himself," Kylo Ren interrupted, while giving the red headed general a stern look.
"Unless you wish to let supreme leader Snoke know of your insubordination,"
Hux stiffened, as the knight of Ren looked at him in an intimidating manner, causing the first order general to gulp in fear.
"Very well," Hux said, finally giving into the idea before turning to the masked man.
"Have the medical droids examine her and her records brought to me,"
Before the masked man could open his mouth in reply, a female officer with dark chocolate brown hair walked in with a fearful look on her face.
"Sir the prisoners have escaped," She reported, with a panicked look on her face.
"What?!" Hux yelled in shock and rage as he ran to a nearby intercom, turning it on.
"All Stormtroopers! Detain and recapture the prisoners!" He yelled into the intercom.
"Close all docking ports! Don't let them escape!"
After General Hux yelled in the intercom, Kylo Ren turned the other direction to track down the family but deep down he didn't want to hurt them so he decided to return a favor for their kindness years ago.
