I DON'T OWN ANYTHING
Touya's pov
In the history of mages of unova, there is a story like that of romeo and juliet, but in that the roles are reversed and in that once the prince losses his princess, the mana circuits in his body starts showing reverse flow because of which his personality changes. " No! she can't die " were his words when he heard about her death.
He tried every way possible to bring her back, but because of certain limitations in summoning magic, he failed to. This put him in real psychological pain. He wanted her so badly that even his mana started giving off the dark aura, which killed nearly two hundred people. Because of which he was executed.
" This is the earliest data available about the dark magic," calem said, " but why did you suddenly asked me to bring this ?" I looked up, "a student died because of this, as the person who is going to protect this region in the near future ,I am obliged to avoid these things to happen again " I turned the page.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door, " who might come at this time?" I mumbled, though it isn't curfew yet but still, it is unusual for anyone to come and meet me at almost 9 pm. Calem got up and opened the door. " Touko!" Calem exclaimed , Touko along with cheren was standing in front of the door. But cheren was standing with Touko 's help.
" Touya!" calem let her in and shut the door."What happened, Touko!?" he asked, "cheren... he just suddenly fell unconscious, " "how ?" I asked, " I don't know, we were talking, and suddenly somebody attacked us from the darkness, " she replied " where were you talking " calem asked " in his room " my eyes widened, " Touko, what were you doing in his room at this hour !" I asked, this is the first time I felt panicked. " I was just talking. Why ?"
I looked away, " well, let it be, let me check him." I went near him and checked his pulse. 'Where is the problem?' suddenly I felt a shock ,which made me take a step back. " What happened, Touya?" calem asked, and Touko gave me a worried look. I looked at both of them and explained them " his mana circuits are getting obstructed by a foreign object, I am not sure but... I guess it is invisible object " I looked at Touko, " what exactly attacked you two ?" "a hooded man, but his attack didn't hit any of us, because I used push " Touko explained.
" We can assume it to be just a shock to his system, I guess " calem suggested, " only if he would have been normal " I replied, " Touya !" Touko exclaimed in panic. " Don't worry " I looked at him, " you had already knew about him, right ?" he gave me a knowing smile, "that's Touya, you know me really very well " Touko looked towards him and then at me "how ? I mean - " " he got the ability to see the mana level of people without touching them" I cut her mid- sentence.
Calem's ability can be called unique. He can see right through a person's mana circulation and detect any issues, 'was that the reason he was staring at cheren like that?' It is a custom in this school that once a student's name is short-listed and when they have to give the entrance test, the student council members have to keep a watch on them. In a way that students won't be able to see them, but the council members can.
" Calem, you knew about him ?" Touko asked for confirmation, " yes, and that is the sole reason for me to keep him away from you, " Calem said. He did so in a very firm way. "Touko, it would be better for you to return back to your room," I told her, she nodded and went back. I looked at cheren and again grabbed his hand. 'It seems to be getting better ' " the obstruction " calem started, " I believe those people can enter any place, it would be better for us to increase barriers " he was continuously staring at the door, " you know we can't , the process can seriously affect Touko " I replied " you are thinking about her now, but what were you thinking when I told you to reject this boy's application!" he exclaimed.
This is the first time I have seen him getting angry like this, " it was because I didn't wanted to outcast him just because he is half mage and I still don't plan to" I cleared myself. " You don't know, touya , but this will cost you everything..." he sighed " I owe your family, I owe you... and because you all did so much for me, I won't let anything happen to Touko " he continued, " well, that's all on my side, good night " he left the room.
" He still remembers it, huh ?" I mumbled, "ughh" I heard cheren groan ," where... am I?" "it is my room " I said " oh, touya, where is Touko" "she went back to her room, if you aren't feeling well you can stay here, I have extra mattress " I offered, " no, thank you, I guess I will return back " I didn't said anything but he did stumbled ' should I stop him' I wished to but something stopped me from doing so.
" Take care," I said, he nodded in response and left. I closed the door and went to sleep, " he can be a problem for touko" I looked at a photo on my study table, it was of Touko and me, " I promised to protect you... but" my eyes started feeling heavy, " well I guess I am thinking too much " 'hope so that this won't end up in another story similar to the first story of dark magic origins ' I lightly slapped myself, " stupid touya, thinking anything..."
Next morning
" What is going on !?" I exclaimed, taking a step back ,I kept staring at the room without knowing what is happening, 'I need to inform to the authorities '.
Done. Well, here's the list of mages ( I intend to involve in the upcoming arc ) some characters's name isn't decided yet, so if I don't get any then I will keep the ones from the original . So, here we go

Mr. white ( because till this point he is called like this ) : ice blue
Lady white ( Touko Touya's mom): lavender
