Touko's pov

We looked at the visitor, miss Valerie . " Touko, are you busy at the moment ?" she asked, " no," I replied , she looked at cheren and asked ,"why are you alone with him ?" she looked scared, "we were attacked in student council office and while running away we both got separated from others, " I explained , " others ?" she looked confused , " my brother, dawn, calem and luca, " I said.

She didn't said anything but suddenly I felt a different presence near me. " miss Valerie ," she looked at me , " are you ...miss Valerie ?" I asked , cheren gave me a confused glance, but I didn't stopped speaking , " miss Valerie won't have any issues with me being alone with cheren or not," she smirked ,and her voice suddenly changed , and her form too.

The body that was standing , evaporated and just a formless spirit like thing came in front of us and said, " so, touko, should we start with the rituals, " that spirit asked, it was the voice of that bracelet . Suddenly I started remembering something . 'Why do I feel like this ?' that thing started to come near me, but cheren grabbed my hand and tried to escape but my body wasn't moving, ' what the -?' I wanted to escape but it was difficult , " Touko ?" cheren looked at me in confusion.

That thing came near and pushed cheren. "Now, shall we begin ? Touko ~" it touched my chest and slide it down, to my abdomen, "Hey ! stop it !" cheren yelled and tried to get up, " so annoying ," it said and continued to remove barriers , though it was almost impossible to remove it , "ancient seal, huh? Don't worry we have much better way to open it but not here," it pulled back his hand, and touched my forehead , " pull, " suddenly it started feeling like my mana is getting out of body , though it is almost impossible because of the seals and barriers but my body started paining, " ahhhh! " suddenly even outside a bright light engulfed the sky .

Then I realised that it was coming from my body, my consciousness started fading and I collapsed .

Touya's pov

Without any doubt that light might be touko's surface mana which is on the normal level around 90 to 99 percent . 'Who will try to do it though ?'

We reached on the ground but there were only two people cheren, who seemed to be injured and luca, who was staring at the ceiling . "Luca!" calem called , he turned around ," we were little too slow to arrive ," he said with disappointed voice. " They couldn't have taken her outside the campus though " I said , they all looked at me , "tou...ya," cheren called, his voice was weak, " you better don't say anything jerk!" luca yelled ," it is because of you that he was able to take in the first place " .

" Luca, calm down , he is just a non mage , and it is not his fault ," calem said . " I...am sorry ," suddenly blood started coming from his mouth, " cheren !" I exclaimed , dawn went near him and checked his pulse, " he is okay, just unconscious " she said, "touya, if I am not wrong then -" " yes" luca interrupted dawn, "the reason is clearly for dark summoning , we must find touko before it is too late " he said.

" It will take two centuries " I said ," to figure out the way to open the ancient seal, " " but, if they have kidnapped her now, that means we can assume that they know some other way, we can't stay calm on the assumption that your great seal will work ," luca said.

I gritted my teeth ,' he isn't wrong ' we have always feared that someday someone will figure out how to remove the seal and barriers. "We will search in separate places, if you find her than... try to stop the person from removing the seal " I said, " I will stay with him," dawn said, looking at cheren, " he needs attention ,we don't exactly know if there is any magic used in him, " I nodded .

Cheren's pov

My entire body was feeling heavy, it was difficult to breathe. 'Uhh,... but something might happen to touko, ' I thought ,' I need to ... wake up ,' I tried my best to open my eyes, and finally I was successful in doing so, but the first person I saw wasn't touko, but the girl that I met earlier , I believe her name was dawn.

" You finally woke up ," she asked, I looked around, " everyone has gone to search for touko," she said. " Touko... that man will..." I was surprised that my voice wasn't coming out clearly, " don't worry, that seal and barriers aren't normal ones " dawn said, I coughed and said " do you know why her high mana level is used for dark summoning ?" I was relieved that my voice came back to normal. Dawn was shocked ," you know what is dark summoning ?" I nodded ," only a little, I mean, what touko told me is that, someone wants to use her for dark summoning ," she nodded .

" Well, summoning is used in battles, it summons all the beasts, or healers, it depends on the way we create the circle, though if we remember the circle very well we don't need to draw it, " she sighed ," the beasts which get summoned, aren't ordinary , they are dangerous if we aren't able to tame it," she continued , " in this process we require mana level of above eighty five percent, because it drains a too much mana and if not then the beasts will go out of control ," she looked a little uncomfortable and shifted a little .

" As for dark summoning , it is used for summoning demonic beasts and demon king, it requires a lot of mana, about hundred percent , that means death, " my eyes widened, "but it won't affect touko, right ? she has too much -" " doesn't mean she has two hundred percent, we don't know how much it is, but if they want her so badly, that means ," " that means ?" she has enough mana to summon demon king. "
