Hey guys and dolls, welcome back to the new chapter!

So for hsi one, it will follow a bit close to the original Mulan movie, but you know with Sora and co...so yea.

Also, did you see the poll I made? I hope so and I hope you voted well because the one with the most votes will be going up :)

So I might do the Ben 10/Sakura Wars fanfic at the same time as this one, but not till later. I want to do the Steven Universe one, but I need to figure out where I want it at. Since Ben will be with Lapis, I don't know if I want him with Steven when he meets her in the mirror, or have him meet her later on. And the Harry Potter one is going to be a LONG-TERM project so that might have to wait a while and once I do it, it might be one of the few stories that might be the one thing I do only.

Oh, and for some chapter so fhtis story when Mulan was aorund the troops, I had her under the Ping name and him/he prnouns, just to avoid confusion. Once she gets ousted, she will go back to being Mulan and using she/her pronouns

Land of Dragons/Encampment

Sora and his party were over at Ping's tent eating some noodles and rice.

"Well, this has been a pretty productive day, hasn't it?" Sun asked the others, with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Oh, yea!" Ruby said. "I mean with men looking at you weirdly, and hearing them make sexist talk under their breaths….yep, it was a fun day." She said as she then angrily dipped her chopsticks in her rice.

A few hours ago….

Ruby was training with Shang, who was shirtless and had his fists up. Ruby does her best in trying to fight him, but as she was too dependent on Crescent Rose, she did not do a very good job and she was constantly being taken down, and she couldn't use her Semblance in front of him.

"Oof!" Ruby said as she was sent backward to a tree and landed with a thud. She then rubbed her chest area, where Shang did a good blow on her. Luckily, her Aura kept her from feeling any major pain but it was still a heavy sensation.

Shang then went over to her. "Your form is atrocious." He said to her, "How do you fight?" He asked her.

Ruby sighed. "I use a weapon, sir." She said,

That's when Sahng realized why Ruby's form was bad. "You seem to rely on your weapon a bit too much, what if you are to lose it and an enemy is about to strike you?" He asked her. "Having a weapon helps, but you will need to learn not to rely too much on your weapon." He said as he walked away from her.

As he did that, Ruby was thinking about what he told her, was he right? Did she rely too much on Crescent Rose? Sure she had a fondness for weapons and it was her sweetheart, but still...was it possible? What would Yang say?

"Ha," Ruby's attention turned towards two soldiers, who were snickering a bit. "As if a girl such as he can fight, the captain did her in."

"Ha, I know right?" The other soldier said as they both walked away, making Ruby ball her fists a bit.

"Jerks…" Ruby said with anger in her voice and crossed her arms. "My sister could beat them up any day.

Also, Ortensia was over at a shooting range, where she had her wand out and aim them at the targets. "Fire!" She said, shooting fireballs at two targets. "Blizzard!" She fired two ice flakes at two targets, making them and the trees freeze up a bit. Ortensia then aimed at the targets again. "Thunder!" She said she then sent bolts of lightning at the trees, making them all get destroyed and disintegrated.

"Heh, take a look at that." A male soldier said to his buddy. "A woman hitting targets? Now I see everything." He said.

The soldier next to him snickered a bit. "Yea, next thing you know, they are going to take over the world." He said as he and the other soldier laughed a bit and started to walk away.

ZAP

Both of them got zapped pretty good, they didn't die, but they were charged up a bit, and a speck of flame was on their heads.

"Ouch…" they both said in unison weakly as they fell, unconscious. Nearby, Ortensia smirked and blew her wand as if it were a gun.

"Serves you right." She said to them with a smirk on her face.

Present Time….

The heroes all smiled and somewhat snickered a bit at hearing what Ortnesia did to those guys.

"Well, it sounds like they deserved it." Sun said she ate his rice.

"If they said that to me, my sweetheart would've given them a piece of her mind." Ruby said with a grin, but as she did, she got her closed scythe and looked at it for a while. Memories of what Shang said came to her. "Hey Jaune," She said to the blond knight. "Do you think I rely on my scythe too much?" She asked him.

Jaune looked a bit confused, but then Ruby told the others about what Shang had said to her much earlier and he thought of it. From their time at Beacon, Ruby did seem attached to the scythe, and he did seem to make sense. "Well...huh...I never thought of it." He said, and it was true. He knew that in Remnant, you need weapons to take on Grimm, did they rely on them too much?

Mulan then placed a comforting hand on Ruby's shoulder. "Captain might be hard, but I know he wants us all to be the best of the army, don't let his words get to you." She said Ruby looked at Mulan and smiled a bit, but it was still something she thought about.

"Hey, Ping!" A voice called out and the others turned to see three figures coming to them. One figure was shorter than the other two, he had a bruised left eye, had thick, rectangular black eyebrows, and thick black sideburns that formed into a mustache. He also had a rather large chin and a flat nose, he also wore a gray robe with black pants and shoes with white socks. This was Yao, a fellow soldier.

The next figure was a man who was rather very thin. He had a pointed face, a large nose, and thick black eyebrows. He wore the typical grey shirt with gray pants and black shoes, with his hair in a topknot. This was Ling, another member of the army.

The final figure was a man who was tall in both weight and height, he was bald, and just wore the typical grey shirt, pants, and black shoes as the rest. This was Chien-Po, another soldier. These three men gave Mulan a hard time when she first got it, but after months of training and determination, they were finally friendly with her.

Ping smiled at the three. "Oh, hey guys." He said, making his voice go deep, to try to sound masculine. Sora's group saw it and shook their heads a bit.

"Yep, she is trying too hard." Some of them thought with beads of sweat going down their heads. Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po decline to join the group.

"So, girls joining the army now, very interesting," Yao said as he ate some food.

"Why, you gotta have a problem with it?" Ruby asked him with a glare, a glare that was enough to make Yao and Ling shake a bit and get nervous.

"No, nope!" Ling said as he had his hands up. "It's just really surprising, as all, as women are forbidden from joining the army. But since Ping trusts you guys, then we can too." He said with a smile on his face, showing that he was telling the truth.

"It is surprising indeed," Chien-Po said. "But I do not mind at all." He said.

Ruby smiled at how these guys were being nice, much better than the others. "Thanks, I mean, women can fight too if they want to. My sister and I kicked some serious butt back at home as well." She said to them.

"Man sounds like you and your sister are pretty cool, in whatever land you are from," Yao said as he ate some more of his food. "When we are out on the field, I hope I get to see you all fight." He said.

"Trust me, you will," Ruby said to him, and the group had begun to talk with each other.

Meanwhile, Chi-Fu was walking around the tent, his mind going on the two girls who were brought in by the captain. "Who does she think he is?" The man asked in annoyance. "Allowing two women in the army? Those creatures can't fight for nothing!" He then got out hsi board and brush. "As soon as the emperor hears about this, he is gone-" But as he was about to write it, something had caught his attention. He found a rolled-up piece of paper on the ground and it made him raise an eyebrow.

"What the?" He asked as he got the paper and began to read it carefully, and after a few minutes, his eyes widened. "Oh boy…" He muttered as he then quickly ran over to Shang's tent. "Captain! Captain!"

The Next Day….

All of the troops are now being led by Shang, the letter in question was from his father, the general, and was told to meet upfront. And so everybody had to pack up and set out. Sora and co were walking with Ping, who was leading Khan. And all of them were in their armor, with Ping, Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po wearing helmets, along with the rest.

"How long has it been?" Sora asked in a tired tone of voice.

"It's been...been….I don't even know," Jaune said as his feet were feeling pretty sore, and he wasn't the only one either.

"As soon as we get up there," Yao said. "I'm going to get myself a large meal." He said, with others nodding their heads.

"Huh...why do I feel like I should be singing?" Ling asked the others, who looked at him and simply shrugged their shoulders. "Must be thinking about it, I guess"

Mushu shrugged his shoulders as he and Cri-Kee were riding Khan's back, making sure no one saw them. "That or because the author doesn't want to get people to get him in trouble due to putting in song lyrics so he had to take the idea out." He said to Cri-Kee who simply nodded his head.

"But there's one thing I do know though," Ling said with a smile. "I know that there is a girl worth fighting for." He said with a grin. "A girl who is as pale as the moon." He said, and then a whole bunch of soldiers started explaining about what they feel is a girl worth fighting for. And some of the comments made Ruby and Orensia feel a bit annoyed at these men's views on women.

"Hey," Ping said to a bunch of guys. "What about a girl who can freely speak her mind? Have a brian, and do things that we men can do?" Ping asked the guys. And there was only one answer to that….

"NAH!" they all said and started to laugh. This made Ping look a bit embarrassed and for Ruby and Ortensia to look very agitated and angry, but luckily they had their own group to keep them calm.

"For me, I got a girl back home who's like any other," Chi-Fo said with some smug arrogance in his tone.

Yao then elbowed Sora. "Yea, I bet the only girl like that would be his mother." He said, making Sora and a few men giggle and snicker a bit and for Chi-Fu to glare at him.

After hours of walking, and getting chilly as they were on the mountain top. They were almost at the front. While walking, Ruby was thinking to herself as he took the rear, Sora noticed that and he walked back to talk to her.

"Hey Ruby," Sora said to her, making Ruby look up at him.

"Hey Sora," Ruby said with some hesitation in her voice.

Sora looked at her with concern. "What's wrong?" He asked her. "Is it about your friends? Because I already promised that-"

"No...it isn't that." Ruby said to him. "It's about something else, something that has been on my mind." She said to him, "Sora….have you ever...killed? Like not a Heartless or Nobody, but a human?" She asked him. "You see, I know that the life of a Huntress is filled with danger, but all I ever did was kill Grimm...never a human before, I mean I did cut off Scorpion Faunus's stinger during our fight. But since we are going to different worlds and taking on this Organization….I'm sure there will be different human enemies we will have to fight….but I'm not sure if I can kill though...I mean Grimm I have killed...but not any humans….I don't know if I can do it either." She said to him,

Sora looked at her for a good few minutes but then sighed a bit. "Ruby, let me tell you something." He said to her, "During our last journey, me, Donald, and Goofy fought against alot of bad guys. We fought against a witch by the name of Maleficent, and she was leading a group of villains from other worlds to help her out."

By this point, Jaune and the others had noticed that they were missing Sora and Ruby and they all ran back to join them, telling Ping that they would catch up with him and the others. "Sora, are you alright?" Goofy said as he and the rest joined them.

Sora looked up at him. "Yea, I was talking to Ruby, she is facing a bit of a crisis here." He said to them,

Ruby looked at them all. "I wasn't trying to hold us all back...I was thinking….I never killed anybody before, Grimm definitely, but never have I taken a human life...and the thought of it makes me a bit...nervous and scared." She said, Everybody could see the look of fright and nervousness in her voice.

"And I was telling her about our fight with Maleficent and Ansem," Sora said to them. "Jaune, Sun, Oswald, Ortensia, Stitch. You might want to listen as well." He said to them as he began to tell his story. "Anyway, me and my friends, there were some people who we took down, and they died because of it. We didn't try to, but one enemy named Clayton, we beat him, but he got crushed by a Heartless he called out." He said to them,

"Really?" Ruby asked him. "I didn't know you could summon Heartless." She said with awe.

"It depends," Sora said to her. "But there was another enemy named Oogie Boogie, he was nothing more but a burlap sack of insects, so...to be honest I was a bit unnerved by it, we took him down and accidentally ripped her apart, then when he merged with his manor we had to fight him again." He said.

While some of the group were snickering over the name 'Oogie Boogie' they were still surprised. "Anyway, Maleficent was leading all these villains and we finally tracked her down in Hollow Bastion," He said to the shocked group. "We took her down once, but Ansem gave her the power to turn herself into a fire-breathing dragon. And we took her down once again. Then it was then that we took care of Ansem, and then..well, you know the rest." He said to her,

Ruby was still feeling a bit nervous about it though, but Sora placed a hand on her shoulder. "Ruby," He said. "There are some enemies in the world we visit that will not go down easily and they certainly will not surrender with ease. And the enemies we face have hearts filled with alot of darkness, that it's impossible to talk them out of it, heck some of them end up as Heartless themselves. Some enemies are going to have to be killed," He then sighed. "I don't like it either, but we need to protect our friends and ourselves, and others as well...sometimes, you just need to do it," Sora said to her.

Ruby listened to him and she then reached behind her and onto her closed-up scythe and rubbed it, could she do it? Could she take a life like that? Sure people will go down in Remnant due to Air protecting them...but still. She was not the only one thinking it either, Oswald thought of it as well, sure the Shadow Blot was something else, but he never took on human life before…

Sun felt it too, he knew Blake did it as she was a member of the White Fang. But he never really killed anybody, but this is still something a bit new to him, sure he murdered Grimm, but never a living being, human or Faunus….

Jaune...well, Jaune was a bit...complex about it. IF he was still the wimp from Beacon, he would agree with Ruby, but Pyrrha's death and travel with RNJR, with the addition of Heaven and Cinder, almost killing Weiss had somewhat hardened him, not too much, but it did. He already made a promise that if Cinder was still alive, he was going to kill her, for what she did to those innocent people at Beacon...and for what she did to Pyrrha. He didn't like it, but if he had to kill someone who was in the way of their fight...he would have to do it, but the person he wants to kill most of all is Cinder.

Sora then finished his talk by saying this. "Ruby, our enemies won't let us rest, this Shan-Yu person won't, and any other villain we encounter as we go to other worlds….if that time comes to strike...you'll have to do it." He said to her, "I'm not trying to make you feel bad or uncomfortable, but there's no other choice." He said.

Ruby looked down a bit and took shi words to heart. He did have a point, and Yen Sid did tell them that there would be other worlds of enemies that would be bad or even worse….Ruby had to accept it, at least...she hopes she can.

"Soldiers!" They all turned to see Shang riding on his horse and approaching them all. "What are you doing holding up the rear?" He asked them all with seriousness on their faces. The group all looked at him, and then back at Ruby, who still looked down a bit, and then back at Shang.

"Sorry, sir," Sora said as he looked up at him. "Ruby just had something on her mind is all, we'll get right back upfront right away. Right, guys?" The others nodded their heads and they immediately began to move back, with Shang following close begins, as he did, he took a good notice on Ruby's face, and could instantly tell that something was wrong with her, but he would figure it out once they all got up to the front.

A few minutes later….

The rest of the group had finally caught up with the rest of the troops, and Ping looked relieved. "What happened to you guys?" He asked the others.

"Nothing," They said in unison, but Ruby still looked down a bit, making Ping look a bit concerned for her though.

"Oh my god…" they all turned to see something that made their eyes go wide-eyed. An entire village…..burned up.

Village

The troops had arrived at the burning village and it was pretty...shocking for them all, houses burned to ashes.

"Oh my…" Sora said with shock and horror at seeing such a sight, and he wasn't the only one. Donald and Goofy are both just as horrific, Oswald was hugging Ortensia, who was hugging him tightly, the faces of the people shocking and upsetting her.

Jaune and Ruby thought back to the destroyed village that was raided by the Branwen Tribe. They were both used to this thing by about now, but Ruby still seems very upset by seeing the homes of these poor folks taken away, and Jaune was gripping his sword tightly, Stitch whimpered a bit at seeing such a sight.

Shang himself was shocked not only because of this, but also because of the letter he read, but he still turned back to the rest of the troops. "Search for survivors!" He said as the troops all went off on their own thing.

Sora turned to his party and nodded. "Let's split up." He aid and the group all disperse to go see if they could find any survivors.

Sora was paired with Mulan, Donald, Ortensia, Ruby, and Stitch and they were walking all over to find a survivor, but so far...nothing, every one they saw was just….dead. "I never….seen this before…" She said as she walked with the group.

"Same," Sora said to her, during his travels, he has seen other places in bad shape, but never as he had seen all of this ...destruction before, except for that one world where he had to fight that big bat-like monster thing, and when he had to fight Ansem but still…

Ortensia looked around with horror on her face. "This is just horrible, who would do such a thing?" She asked.

Donald gulped as he looked around. "Only the very worst kind…" He said to them,

Ruby didn't say anything, but she had flashbacks to the village she, Jaune, Nora, and Ren saw that were traded by the Branwen Tribe and the one Huntsman who died...the Huns...they were sick…

Meanwhile, Jaune's group consisted of himself, Goofy, Oswald, and Sun. they all looked around and they too were shocked at the burning. "Gwarsh, I sure hope the villagers got out alright," Goofy said with hope. But Jaune and Sun had looks of dread on their faces, they still couldn't find any survivors, and it was not looking so good.

"Whoever this Shan-Yu is, he needs to be stopped, '' Oswald said to them, a statement that everyone nodded their heads in agreement to.

"Hey!" The group had all turned to see Ruby's group was nearby and they all went to go catch up to her. "Did you guys find anything?" Mulan asked them, making them shake their heads no. "Neither have we." She said, as she was looking around, something had caught her attention. A small doll with a bit of blood on it, Mulan picked it and had a look of sadness on her, not even a child survived this…

The rest of the group saw the doll and were equally shocked. "Even a child….those bastards would kill a child…" Jaune whispered through gritted teeth as his grip on his sword. Ruby then took the doll out of Mulan's hands, not caring if blood got on her hands, but she saw the look on the door some young innocent girl had a doll...and she got killed and the doll was now stained in blood. This made Ruby's silver eyes water a bit and she hugged the doll very tightly, Mulan saw this and she went over to rub the girl's back a bit, and the rest of the group did as well, with Mushu petting her ankle and Stitch nuzzling his head on her.

Shang rode his horse to see and when he saw the bloody doll he sighed a bit, but when he saw Ruby he had a look of sympathy. "This is what war is like." He said to Ruby as he got off of his horse and looked at her, making the girl look up, tears coming out of her eyes. "This is why we are fighting the Huns, to make sure that this will not happen anywhere else in China." He said to her, Ruby sniffled a bit as she continued to hug the doll.

"Captain!" They all turned to see Chi-Fu calling to him, and the look on the usually smug sexist man's face spiked with horror and sadness. Shang and Ping's group had all gone to see what Chi-Fu was calling Shang for, but when they did, what they saw made all their eyes widen with horror. It was an army of Chinese soldiers...but all of them were dead. And not just soldiers either, but it was many of the villagers...everyone being dead.

"My god…!" Sora said with wide eyes. Ortensia hugged Oswald, with the rabbit holding onto shi wife, blocking her vision. Ruby was slightly trembling a bit at seeing such a sight, but her memories of the burned village and the lives taken at Beacon….she was used to it, but still, it was horrible.

But the one who was the most shocked was Mulan, this was the first time she had seen casualties before...and the sight of it...made her feel sick but horrible, all these people..killed as if they were animals.

Sahg looked at all the soldiers and shook his head. "No, this can't be, my father...he-"

"Captain!" Everyone turned to see Chien-Po waking up to them, carrying a helmet with gold-flame-like lining. He didn't look too happy either as he walked towards Shang and handed him the helmet. "The General…" He said with sympathy as Shang took the helmet from him, Shang had a moment of shock and horror on his face, but he sighed and took the helmet and took off to find a place to set it down.

As the rest of the soldiers came to see the sight of the bodies, Mulan and the others turned to see Shang take out his sword and place it into the snow, with him putting his father's hekmet on the handle and he knelt. That prompted them to walk over to him.

"We're sorry," Ping said to him with sympathy, this made Shang get up and begin to walk, but not before placing a hand on Ping's shoulder, and he turned to Sora's party and gave them a small nod as if to say 'Thank you.' He then went to his horse and closed his eyes to take a deep breath, most likely to try to keep his cool, and then he got on his horse and got the attention of all of his men. "The Huns Are making a move as we speak, we will still be able to get to the Imperial City if we take the Tung Shao Pass. We're the only hope for the Emperor and all of China now." As he said this, a lot of soldiers looked a bit nervous, but at the same time, a bit shocked at their new positions. "Move out! He said to them all as he then began to leave.

As the soldiers all walked away, only Mulan and Sora's party stayed behind a bit. Aloof them looking at the carnage and the door.

"That bastard has to be stopped," Jaune said with determination.

"And we're the ones who are going to do it as well," Donald said to him as he raised his staff in the air.

Mulan looked at the group and nodded her head, but not before grabbing the doll from Ruby and looking at it one more time before she placed it right where Shang's sword stood, and gave a bow to it, hoping that these people will find peace in the afterlife, then she and the rest of the group- carried onwards.

Mountain Peak

The group had traveled many more steps up to the mountaintop, hoping to reach the Imperial City before Sahn-Yu and his army could. And as they were still traversing, Ruby still couldn't get her mind off the village and it made her just so...sad to see it happen. She felt a gentle tap on her knee and saw Donald looking up at her and giving her a small smile, letting her know that everything was going to be alright and that they were going to stop Shan-Yu.

"I can't say I didn't expect this to happen," Jaane said to Goofy as they still talked. "I mean I was figuring it could happen...but nothing like that, especially to innocent villagers." He said.

Goofy nodded his head. "Right, all we need to do is stop that Shan-Po guy, and seal the keyhole, and then not that many Heartless will be able to come back and terrorize again." He said. "We're going to get the job done, buddy," Goofy said as he patted Jaune's shoulder a bit, making the knight smile a bit.

"It's Shan-Yu, Goofy," Jaune said with a small smile on his face. He then noticed Ping walking and notified her. "Are you alright, Ping?" He asked.

"Huh? Oh...yeah.." He said with a hint of sadness and gloom in his voice. "I never figured I would see something like that before…" He said.

"That's a war for you," Mushu said as he patted Ping a bit, with Cri-Kee chirping a bit.

*SCREECH*

They all heard what appeared to be a hawk and they all looked up to see it flying over them all, and it made Sahng alert.

"What was that?" Sora asked.

"Shan-Yu...he's here," Shang said and turned to his men. "Be on your guard! They could be anywhere!" He said as the soldiers got ready for a fight if needed.

They all saw Hayabusa fly over to the top of the mountain, where there appeared to be black smoke covering the area. After a few seconds, the smoke cleared out to see Shan-Yu, leader of the Hun army standing on his horse, looking down at them all, with a dark look on his face.

"That's Shan-Yu?" Jaune asked with surprise, when Sahg nodded, Jaune immediately got his sword out, and so did Sora's party. Then they all saw the entire Hun army appear at the top as well appearing alongside their leader.

Shan-Yu then took his sword and pointed it to the ground. "HEARTLESS, KILL THEM!" He shouted. Then in front of the army, an army of Nightwalkers appeared, along with a new breed of Heartless. These Heartless resembled a Centaur, with the bottom being black and having a horse body with eh hooves being red along with its tail. The upper body was human-like with it being dark and muscular, it also wore Chinese armor over most of its body, it also wore a small, conical, silver helmet with two curved golden feathers and a red cape. Its face was obscured by the helmet but revealed its yellow glowing eyes. It also carried a long guandao with an angular, gold blade, a silver handle, and a red horsetail tassel at the base of the blade. These were called the Assault Riders, and there were a bunch of them.

The army took the new creatures by surprise and some even looked a bit terrified, but Sora's party then immediately got ready for a fight. "Captain!" Ping said to Shang. "Let us handle them!" Shang took a look at the group and then frowned.

"No," He said. "We are one army, and we fight together." He said as he turned to his men. "Everyone, prepare for battle with these monsters! If we die, we die with honor!" Some of the soldiers looked a bit nervous, but Yao, Ling, and Chien Po looked about ready for it. "FIGHT!" He said as he, The army, Ping, and Soras group all ran to battle against the Heartless. The soldiers grabbed rocket and fired them off at a swarm of Nighwalers, taking the Heartless down with ease. They did the same thing with a group of Assault Riders and the Heartless got defeated as well.

Shang, Yao, Ling, and Chien Po fight with Sora's party. Sora blocked an attack from a Nightwalker and slashed its head off with his keyblade, then he immediately dodges rolled a thrust motion from an Assault Rider and Sora used his keyblade to disarm it while also stabbing it right in the abdomen.

"Thunder!" Donald cast a thunder spell right on the Nightwalkers, causing them all to get electrocuted and to get destroyed easily. Donald then noticed an Assault Rider coming right towards him and he cast a blizzard spell to freeze it right up. Then he got an idea. "Ruby!" He said, getting the gis attention. "Let's do this together!" He said, making Ruby grin.

"Ok!" She said as he then made Crescent Rose into its sniper mode and she cocked several fire dust rounds. "Ready Donald?" She said,

"Ready!" Donald said to her and they both pointed towards a group of Assault Riders. "Flam Barrage!" They both shout as Donald then conjures up a large fireball and shoots it, and then Ruby fires off several dust rounds, and the NightWalkers and Assault Rider get burned up in a semi-large explosion.

Goofy blocked a thrust motion from an Assault Rider and knocked back a Nightwalker, who attempted to slash him with its claws and knocked it back into an Assault Rider, then Goofy got his idea. "Jaune!" He called out to, and Jaune ran over to him to help out. "Let's do this together!" He said.

Jaune looked at him with confusion, but then he took a look at his shield and then at Goofys and got an idea. "Alright!" He said as he and Goofy both grabbed their shields and began to charge right at a group of Assault Riders. They then used their shields to block and disarm severe Assault Riders and then dispatched them with smash then they turned their attention towards a group of Nightwalkers and both ran with their shields out. "Shield Charge!" They both exclaimed as their shields rammed right into every Nightwalker, destroying every single Heartless.

Goofy smiled. "Alright, we did it!" He said with a smile. He then turned to Jaune. "Jaune, you did an amazing job, pal!" He said with a smile.

Jaune looked at Goofy and gave a small smile. "Yes...we did, didn't we?" He asked, with the dog knight smiling and nodding his head in agreement. Jaune thought of the attack they just did together and it gave humans an idea. "If some of us can combine our attacks, we might be able to defeat more does….I will have to discuss this with everyone else once we get back to the ship." He thought.

But as he was thinking this, Jaune quickly blocked an attack from an Assault Rider, who attempted to jab its weapon towards him, but Jaune used his shield to block it, and he quickly dispatched it using his sword. Then he immediately used his shield to pound a Nightwalker's head.

Ruby used Crescent Rose to slash up an Assault Rider's weapons clean off, and then she used it to slice their stomachs, making them die off instantly. Then when she saw an incoming group of them, she had her scythe turn into its sniper mode and cocked the magazine and aimed it for a large quantity of Nightwalkers. "Take some of these!" she said as he began firing off her dust rounds at them all.

Sun used his bo staff to block an attack from an Assault Rider, then he used his staff to slam the Assault Riders guandao to the ground and he slapped the Heartless right in the face, then he quickly took the staff apart, grabbed one of his gunchucks and pointed it right in the Heartless's face. "Smile!" He cheekily said as he fired off a thunder shot right at that Heartless, taking its head right off.

Oswald then dodged an attack from an Assault Rider and he jumped right on its back, and he sliced off its head, making him jump right off just as the Heartless had vanished into nothingness, then he noticed another group of Nightwalkers coming to him and ignited the tip of his keyblade up. "Fire Raid!" He yelled as he threw the keyblade to the Hearts, which hit them the fruit time, and then the keyblade went soaring like a boomerang back to Oswald, while also hitting the Heartless again and causing them to disappear into nothingness.

Ortensia then twirled her magic wand and pointed it at a group of Nightwalkers. "Light! '' she said as she shot a ball of light at a group of Heartless, making them vanish instantly. Her wand then sparkled with electricity and pointed it right at a group of Shadows that had appeared instantly. "Thunder!" She then sent numerous thunder strikes at the Shadows, making them all vanish.

Stitch began to fire at them with his ray guns, and he even cawed at numerous of them as well. "Ika patooka's!" He said to them all as he shot an slashed at many of them, all while cakilig madly at them as well.

Donald was watching Stitch fight and a bead of sweat went down his white, furry head. "He is having way too much fun..." He said with dread

Ping was using his sword to slash at a Nightwalker, and then he dodged a thrust from an Assault Ride, and he used the sword to stab the rider right in the abdomen. Shang also got in the fight, having gotten spare sword from one of the soldiers. He blocked an Assault Rider's attack, and when he did that, he also quickly gave a solid punch to a Nightwalker right in the face, and then when the Assault Riders weapon was gone, Shang immediately stabbed the Heartless right in the stomach.

Lao, Ling, and Chein-Po got into the action as well. Lao stabbed a Shadow right in the face with his sword, Ling headbutted a Nightwalker right in the face, making the Heartless stumble backward a bit. And an Assault Rider attempted to strike at Chien-Po, but the bigger man's girth prevented a major injury and the attack deflected and hit back at the Assault Rider, who got knocked back into the others.

After a good few minutes, all of the Heartless were defeated, but this was not the time to celebrate, they had to turn their attention towards Sahn-Yu, and that's what they did. All of them glaring up at the war-hungry Hun leader, who sneered down at them all.

AND THAT'S WHY THEY CALL THIS, CLIFFHANGER!

Ha, did you get the Between the Lion reference? Anyway, I stopped it here for now. I thought we would get to the final fight, but then I figured that would happen in the next chapter.
