Hey everyone, so again I deeply apologize for not updating as soon as I could. It's just…things are very hectic right now, and everything at my job is…well…going down the crapper as we speak. Anyway, I am hoping to hopefully end the story by this year at one point, if I can just remember not to procrastinate, I am hoping to have this story finished up by either next winter...I hope so.
Anyway, last time, our heroes fought over 1000 Heartless in Hollow Bastion, but that is not all. Apparently, they are now going after the supposed leader of Organization XIII…what will happen next? Well they beat him? Will they get answers to their missing friends? We shall wait and see.
So…as you all heard, Rooster Teeth is shutting down after 21 years…it's actually a big shock…sorta. I mean I did hear around that theri quality has declined over the years, but still. So that begs the question…will RWBY, gen:LOCK, and Camp Camp be canceled? Or will they find new homes?
Also, we lost a great man in the manga world…Akira Toriyama. Now I will admit that I am not a Dragon Ball fan, of course I am fond of the characters such as Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, etc etc. But seriously thai is just way too much to handle, for without this guy we never wouldn't have gotten One Piece, Naruto, or Bleach. Thank you Toriyama-san, for great memories, and agreat childhoods.

Dark Depths
Sora and the others were trying to catch up to Mickey, as he was going super fast in his pursuit of the one named Xehanort. Sora, Ruby, Jaune, and Sun were hoping that once they caught up with him, they would get the answers they needed…the whereabouts of their friends.
As they continued to run, they all had to stop for a bit to catch their breaths, that battle against all those Heatless did a number on them and they were not in any shape to fight at all. "I swear, that was a lot of fighting." Sun said as he took a deep breath. "And I helped at Beacon." With Ruby and Jaune agreeing with him.
As Sora was catching his breath, he noticed Mickey standing, Keyblade in hand. "Your Majesty!" He called out to him, getting the others' attention and following the boy. When they finally got to where Mickey was at, they all stood and stared at Xehanort, who had his back turned and looked out over the castle that was in the distance.
"Xehanort…" The man said in a deep, calm voice. "How long has it been since I abandoned that name?" He asked. "Far too long…"
"Alright you jerk!" Ruby calls out to him. "Tell me where my team is at!" She then cocked Crescent Rose and pointed it at him, and the others got their weapons ready as well.
"Where's Kairi and Riku?' Sora asked, getting ready to fight as well.
Xehanort didn't seem fazed by this however, he just looked at them and chuckled. "I do not know of any Kairi, but I assure you, your teams are doing just fine….for now." He said, with the Remnant teens glaring hard at him. He then turned his attention towards Mickey. "As for Riku…perhaps you should ask your mouse king." He said to them as a dark vortex appeared.
Mickey's eyes widened as he gripped his keyblade tight. "Xehanort!" He called as he ran towards the dark vortex and jumped right in it. The others attempted to follow him, but the vortex disappeared right before their eyes, leaving them all speechless.
"Mickey…." Oswald said with a solemn tone. Why did he have to do that? Why did he leave them behind?
"He's gone…" Sora said as the others looked at him, he then dropped his head. "They're both gone." He said with sadness in his voice, making the others look at him with sympathy, with Goofy, Ruby, and Ortensia going up to him and giving him pats on the shoulders, and Ortensia and Ruby hugging him as well.
Jaune looked up into the sky. "Why...why are they doing this to us?" He asked as he gripped his sword tightly. "What did we ever do to them?"
"Good job, you all fell for their trap." A cocky voice called out, making everyone look alarmed.
"Who said that?" Oswald asked as he had his keyblade and looked around.
"Show yourself!" Stitch said as he had his blasters ready and pointed, looking around.
"Over here!" They all turned to see a man with spiky red hair standing over and looking at them all. The Travelers of Light ran over and got into their fighting positions. The man sighed a bit. "Don;t you get it? It's all a set-up by the Organization." He then began walking towards them, but stopped at a good feet. "Xemnas is simply using you to eliminate the Heartless…that's his plan." He said.
The heroes glared, but at the same time, they looked at him confusingly, Xemnas? Who was that? And what did he mean by master plan?
"Xemnas?" Ortensia asked.
The man rolled his eyes. "The guy you just met, he is the leader, got it memorized?" He asked with a little bit of a mock. "X-E-M, N-A-S."
Ruby then looked at him. "Thanks for the tip, but the Organization…they want to get rid of the Heartless?" She asked. "I thought they were your allies…sorta."
The man sighed. "You're so slow Little Red." His little insult made Ruby glare hard at him. "Every Heartless that is slain by the Keyblade releases a captive heart. And that is what the Organization is after." He explained.
The Travelers of Light were a bit confused by this however. "So, if the ORganization is after hearts that were captured by Heartless…then what are they going to do with them?'' Max asked.
The man snorted. "As if i'm going to tell you." He said to them,
"You son of a-!" But Sun was stopped as Sora put his hands up.
"Wait…I know now!" Sora said. "You…you're the one who kidnapped Kairi!" He exclaimed.
The man smiled. "Ding, ding, ding! You got the answer right, names Axel. got it memorized?" He asked again with a taunting smile.
Jaune gritted his teeth. "I'll give you something to memorize!" He said as he was about to go over there, but we stopped by Ruby and Goofy holding him.
Sora however looked at him with a look of desperation. "Where's Kairi?" He asked. Axel looked at him and then down and then scratched his head, almost as if he was…feeling something. "Please, just tell me!" He exclaimed. "And Jaune, Ruby, and Sun's friends…where are they?"
Axel looked down and sighed as he put his hands to his hips. "Look, about Kairi…I'm sorry." He said to them, "You see-"
"Axel!" A voice called from the aire, causing the entire group to look around, wondering who the voice belonged to. Then all of a sudden, a dark portal appeared and a man in black appeared before Axel, a ban with long bluish-gray hair and an 'X' shaped scar on his face.
The sight of the man made Axel gasp. "Crap!" He exclaimed as he then began to disappear through a dark portal of his own.
"Wait!" Sora exclaimed as he, Jaune, Ruby, and Sun began to run forward, but the man held his arm in front of them, stopping them from pursuing any further.
"We will ensure that he receives the maximum punishment for his actions." He said to them before Axel disappeared entirely.
But that didn't really solve anything for them, in fact, they didn't care about it. "We don't care about that!" Sora said. "Please, just let us into the realm of darkness….please?" He pleaded.
The man then turned to face them. "If it's Kairi and your team you're worried about, don't worry, we are taking good care of them." He said to the group.
Ruby shook her head. "Please, just take us to them…please." She pleaded, her voice becoming desperate.
The man narrowed his eyes. "Are they that important to you?"
"They matter to us more than anything in the entire world!" Jaune said to him. "I vowed I would never lose anyone ever again after losing my partner!"
The man saw their desperate looks and he then raised an eyebrow. "Prove it to me then."
Sora, Ruby, Jaune, and Sun looked at eachother. There was no hope in fighting the Thai man…not if he was willing to bring them to the Organization's hideout so they could find their friends. Having no other choice, the four teens dropped their weapons, got to their heads and knees, and put their heads down, making the other Travelers gasp.
"Guys…!" Donald exclaimed.
"Please ... .take us to them ... .please." Sora pleaded, with him and the Remnant teens doing the same.
The man looked at them, not really saying anything for a bit, just looking. "So, they really are that important?"
"More than anything…" Sun said as the others nodded their heads.
"Well then," The man said as he shot them all with a small frown. "The answer is no." He said.
CLANK
In a flash, the man had his weapon and blocked a combined attack from Sora and Jaune, both with their Keyblade and sword in hands as they tried to strike the man down.
"You rotten!" Sora snarled in anger as he and Jaune tried to push on, but the man then suddenly got the upper hand and pushed them all back towards the group in a thud. The others helped them all up as they then got their weapons out and got ready to fight.
"TAKE US TO THEM, NOW!" Ruby shouted in pure anger.
The man didn't seem deterred by this however. "Are you angry?" He asked. "Do you hate me? If you feel that way, you should take that anger and rage towards the Heartless." He said as he snapped his fingers and in a flash a bunch of Armored Knights appeared before him, making the group all look shocked.
"Well, well, well." A female voice said, and in that moment, Jaune and Ruby's eyes winded at hearing it…that voice ...that voice sounded familiar…could it…no…was it? In a dark portal, appearing before the man were two familiar females wearing black coats, and when they showed up, Jaune and Ruby both shook with anger as their grips on their weapons tightened.
"Cinder Fall…" Jaune growled in anger.
"Neopolitan!" Ruby exclaimed. It was true, Cinder Fall, the one behind the destruction of Beacon, and the killer of Pyrrha Nikos was here, alongside Neapolitan, the partner of the late criminal mastermind, Roman Torchwick.
"Ruby Rose…and Jaune Arc." Cinder said with an evil smile. "Long time no see."
Ruby narrowed her eyes. "What are you doing here?"
Cinder smiled. "I found some new employment." She said, with Neo nodding her head in agreement. Cinder looked around. "Hmm, it seems your team isn't with you, neither do I see the blond noodles." Jaune growled a bit. "Jee, I wonder where they could be."
Jaune gripped his sword tightly. "If anything happens to them I'll-'' But he was stopped by the man.
"Cinder Fall and the one named Neo have seen the strength of the Organization, and as such…if they help us, then we will help them." He then raised his arms in the air, and in an instant, a bunch of Armored Knights appeared before him and the two girls. The heroes all then got ready for a fight, but a few looked confused.
"Wait…he is controlling the Heartless?" Oswald asked. This was something that surprised the hero a bit. Doesn't the Organization only control the Nobodies? But that didn't matter, all that mattered was the enemy in front of them.
"Pitiful Heartless." The man said as he looked up. "Mindlessly collecting hearts. And yet, they do now know the full extent of their power." He then looked at the heroes, more specifically at the keyblade. "The rage of the KEyblade releases the hearts of theHeartless, then they gather in darkness, masterless and free. Until they all come together and form into the most powerful heart of all…Kingdom Hearts."
Ruby looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Kingdom Hearts?" She inwardly asked.
The man smirked at them. "And once the time comes. We can truly, finally exist."
"And I will get more powerful than anyone in Remnant." Cinder said with an evil smile. "I will be powerful, and feared." She said, as Ruby, Jaune, and Sun glared hard at her. Neo gave a small smirk as she twirled her umbrella
"And what do you fools think you are bragging about?" The Travelers of Light's eyes swinded, they recognized that foul voice from anywhere! They all turned to see dark green flames spout into the air and who was it? "Kingdom Hearts belongs to me!" Maleficent! The evil fairy smiled evil. "The hearts of all kingdoms. The heart of all that lives. The dominion known asKingdom Hearts...is mine to rule!" She said as green flames surrounded her.
When Cinder got a look at Maleficent, her eye winded a bit, the image of Maleficent was briefly repealed by her mistress. "M-Mistress Salem?" She asked in a soft whisper of fright. Neo herself was also a bit fearful, something about this witch made her shake a bit.
Maleficent then summoned Soldier Heartless, who attacked the Armored Knights and surrounded the man, Cinder, and Neo. But unlike his female cohorts, the man was not at all intimidated by this however.
"Foolish fairy…" He muttered as he snapped his fingers and summoned many Dusks, who then immediately took care of the Heartless, after that, the Dusks turned their attention towards the heroes.
The heroes got ready for a fight, but then they were stopped as familiar green flames appeared in front of them, Maleficent? What was she doing? Then she then extended her arms outward and summoned a large green wall of fire, separating herself from the heroes.
"While I do my best to keep these creatures at bay, you must devise a plan to vanquish them-forever!" She said to them all. This made the heroes look at her with surprise, was she…risking herself for them to go free? But…but why?
"Maleficent…" Sora exclaimed with shock and surprise, he was even more surprised as the Ducks began to latch onto her, making her grunt a bit.
"Do not misunderstand me, boy. I will have my revenge on you yet!" She exclaimed as more Ducks began to pile onto her.
"Maleficent1" Sora cried out with concern.
"Go, now!"
"I don't take orders from you!" Sora said as he was about to run right in to help her, but he was grabbed by Sun.
"Dude, we got to go!" He said.
"But what about!" He then took another glance to see that Malefitn was now covered with Ducks, who had dogpiled onto her. That action caused the fire wall around her to disappear, leaving the heroes at the mercy of the Nobodies.
The man smirked. "Now, where are we again?" He asked as he then turned to Cinder. "Cinder, now is the time to practice.
Cinder nodded. "My pleasure." She said with a grin as she then walked forward and eyed the group, and with an evil grin she used her shadow hand and gave a snap, causing her to summon Heartless, surrounding them all.
The heroes were shocked, but none were more shocked than the Remnant teens, now Cinder can control Heartless? This was not good, not good at all….just imagine what she could do if she was back in Remnant!
"Gah!" Oswald shroud in anger. "Nobodies, Heartless ...WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON?" He shouted with annoyance and anger.
Cinder smirked. "These Heartless sides with whoever is the strongest. The Organization has made me more powerful." As she said this, an aura of darkness was radiation off of her. "With this power, all of Remnant will fall!" She exclaimed with a grin.
Jaune glared hard at her. "You!" He said as he was about to rush in and attack her, but he was stopped by an Armored Knight, who attacked him, but he was able to block the attack with his sword.
Sora then stuck down two of them, and it caused the hearts to be released and sent to the sky. The man saw this and smiled. "Perfect," He said as he turned to Cinder and Neo. "Ladies, it's time to depart." He said as he disappeared into a dark corridor, but not before the girls followed, but before they did, they turned to the heroes, more specifically to Ruby, Jaune, and Sun.
"Pretty soon, you will all meet the same fate as that Nikos girl." She said with a smile.
Jaune glared hard at her, he didn't care if he was surrounded by Heartless, all he did was point his sword right at her. "YOU JUST WAIT CINDER!" Jaune shouted with rage. "NEXT TIME WE MEET, I WILL KILL YOU WITH MY OWN TWO HANDS!"
Cinder wasn't intimidated by the threat and scoffed a bit as she then went through the dark corridor, with Neo giving a mocking bow as she left. Leaving the heroes at the mercy of the Heartless.
At this point, all they could do at this point was fight off the Heartless, but due to them being exhausted from facing off against 1000 of them, they were all tired and were not in the right state to fight.
Sora himself was feeling a bit down, with the Organization's plans known to him…what could he do? "Maybe..everything we do was all for nothing." He said, as he then blocked an attack from an Armored Knight. "If I cab't use the Keyblade…what can I do?" What could he do?
"You imbeciles!" Maleficent's voice said from the air. "None of you can be trusted with anything!"
"Wha-WOAH!" Sora and the others soon found themselves being sucked into a dark pool in the ground. "W-what's going on?"
"Everyone, stay together!" Ruby exclaimed as they were all sucked right in.
Realm of Darkness
The Realm of Darkness, a cold place where everything was…well…dark. And this is somehow where Sora and the other Travelers of Light had ended up after being swallowed by the dark pool in Hollow Bastion.
After some light moaning and groaning, the others began to get up, and as th7e did they looked around to see where they were at, and them looked a bit freaked out, rightly so.
"W-where is this place?" Ortenisa asked with some fear in her voice, making Oswald come over and put gold onto her hand in comfort.
Sora looked around as his eyes winded. "It must be the Realm of Darkness!" He exclaimed. As he said that, Ruby, Jaune, and Sun looked surprised as well and they all began to see if their friends were there. "Kairi! Riku!"
"Weiss! Yang! Uncle Qrow!"
"Nora! Ren! Oscar!"
"Blake!"
Unfortunately, they didn't receive any answer. As they kept asking around, Donald and Stitch looked to see something standing nearby. "Hey!" The group all stopped what they were doing and turned to see a black coated man standing with a white box in his hands.
"Who are you?" Donald Asked with anger as he then attempted to run towards him, but the man disappeared in a corridor of darkness, leaving the box behind on the ground. The others went right over to where the man was standing and peered down at the box that Donald picked up.
"What do you think is inside?" Max asked with curiosity.
"I don't know Maxie." Goofy said as Donald then began to open the box. "Uh Donald are you sure you want to-'' But it was too late as Donald already opened up the box to find only two things, a blue popsicle and a picture.
Donald took the picture out and the gang inspected it and recognized it as a picture of the gang in Twilight Town. "Hey!" Ruby said with a smile. "It's Payner, Pence, and Olette." She said with a smile.
"But…who's that guy?" Sun asked as the group saw a fourth member, he was shown to have short spiky golden blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. His attire consisted of a black, high collar jacket with a zipper, over this he wore another jacket that was not zipped and was white with several black hood designs and a Grey hem at the end of each h sleeve, also the over jackets collar was red, pleated, and folded back.
His pants were shown to be two colored ones, with the legs being a beige color with several buttons on the hem that attached the legs to the Res top the pants which were shown to be dark-colored. His shoes were colored in different shades of gray and black, and had red stamps rather than laces. And to complete the ensemble he wore a wristband with a black and white checkerboard pattern on his left wrist, and two pairs of rings, a black one in his left index finger, and a white one on his left middle finger.
"Roxas." All heads turned to Sora with some puzzled looks on their faces. Roxas…how did Sora know the boy's name?
"You know him?" Goofy asked.
Sora shook his head. "No, I just know…his name is Roxas." He said to them, Roxas…Roxas…Ruby then thought when they fought Demyx a while ago and he kept on calling Sora the name Roxas…was there some sort of connection? Just like Ozpin and Ozma? All of thai was in the young reaper's head as she wanted to know the answers.
"Hmm," Her thoughts were interrupted by Stitch, taking out the popsicle.
"Uh, Stitch,are you sure you want to eat-'' But Stitch already had the popsicle in his mouth and then pulled it out.
The line pondered the taste for a moment before he smiled. "Mmm, yummy!"
"What's the flavor?" Sun asked. "Since it's blue, it must be blue raspberry, or blueberry, right?"
Stitch shook his head. "No…it's salty…but sweet too." He said with a smile, and as he was about to take another mouthful, but it then began to glow a bit as it then went into the sky and Sora;s Keyblade glew, he knew what to do as he pointed up and unleashed a beam of light.
Hollow Bastion
The Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee all looked to see what was going down, and much to their surprise, a large beam of light shut off into the sky.
"Sora, everyone!" Leone said with alarm as the others (sans Cloud) looked alarmed.
"What are we waiting for? We gotta go help them!" Tifa said as she was about to rush off, but she was stopped by Cloud, who held onto her hand.
"These kids are strong." He said to them all. "I have a hunch that they will be just fine." He said as he then turned to walk away, but not before thinking of something. "I feel bad for what Ruby, Jaune, and Suna re going through...Jaune…don't let darkness take you." He thought with worry as he took off.
Leon then looked at his rival walk off and he turned back to see the beam of light, as well as the others as well. "We'll see you all soon." He said as the other smiled and nodded in agreement. But he then thought of something. "Jaune, Ruby...please be careful." He thought with worry.
Castle that Never Was
The Organization was now gathered around on their chairs, Cinder and Neo were not amongst them, and they were talking about recent events.
"Sora knows the truth now." The man with long hair said to them. "The more Heartless he destroys, the closer he is to becoming our perfect puppet." He then sighed. "However with this new knowledge, it will be harder for him to control." He said.
Xigbar snorted. "Does it really matter?" He asked. "No matter the circumstances, Sora has never stopped himself from saving many people from the Heartless." He said and then he chuckled as he placed a hand over his non-existing heart. "It's what his pure heart wants." He said that last part a bit mockingly.
Luxord tossed some dice in the air. "The ice has been rolled." He said. "Things are now set in motion, there is no stopping this." He said.
Xaldin sighed. "Do not rely on fate alone, for it is that that caused Demyx's demise." He said to his fellow member.
Luxord glared. "If you already know what the outcome will be, then where's the fun in betting on it?" He asked
Xigbar sighed. "Now, now children, play nice." He said teasingly, making the others glare at him. Then hsi teasing face turned serious. "But wouldn't defeating him derail our plans?"
"If he is to die easily, then he is of no use." Xemnas said to him. "And besides, we already got back up."
"Oh yes….the teens from Remnant." Xigbar said. "The reaper is a tough little cookie…but the knight is very easy to break."
Luxord had some cards on him. "I agree," He said as he looked into them. "But I am still intrigued on what to bet…will he prevail? Or will darkness take him?"
"With his Semblance and Aura, he will make a good Heartless and Nobody." Xladin said. "Especially the little rose."
Xemnas nodded his head. "And if they are to fall as well…then we have the Fall Maiden and Ruby rose's sister." He said to them,
Xigbar snorted. "Not to be rude or anything, but are you sure? Because as far as I see, those kids are not breaking easily."
Xemnas smirked. "I have gained footage of the story of Ozma and Salem…I think once they see it…they will turn on him." He said.
"If you don't mind me asking," Luxord said. "But how do you know?'
Xemnas just sat there and smirked. "I have gotten something I needed." He said.
Meanwhile…
"THAT LYING BASTARD!" Qrow shouted in rage. Xehanort had gathered evidence about the story of Ozma and Salem from Hollow Bastion and showed it to the group and their fractions were not happy. Everything they were doing, all the fighting…because of Ozpin…Ozma, and this…this..witch.
But no one was as shocked as Oscar. The young farmhand had just found out that he is nothing but a vessel for an immortal wizard…a young boy who was dragged into a war he didn't want any part of and he was now forced to pick up the pieces.
Nora was getting her teeth in anger, and Ren…while he was calm on the outside, he was fuming on the inside. After what they were told about everything with Pyrrha and the Maidens…they lost their team-no…a member of their family because of Ozpin, and now their leader was out there somewhere finding them.
Weiss was just shocked, she didn't know how to process the entire thing. Of course some of her felt a bit sorry for what Ozpin had to go through, but to drag them all out into a war they didn't sign up for…it was just too shocking, and Blake too was thinking the same thing.
But Yang? Yang was feeling the most hurt of all. Summer rose dying, her sister somewhere in danger…all of Remnant in turmoil…all because of Ozpin. Yang then turned over to Oscar with a vicious look and was about to go over there until she was stopped by Weiss.
"Yang, we can;t hurt Oscar for whatever it is that Ozpin did." She said to her.
Blake nodded. "I agree, we can-"
SLAP
Blake's eyes widened as she felt her cheek sting a bit and she put a hand on to look at Yang, who's eyes were red, and everyone was silent. "Y-Yang.." She said with a soft tone, almost as if she was going to cry.
"My mom…is dead." Yang said with anger in her voice. "I lost many friends at Beacon, my sister is out there, possibly scared out of her mind ... .and you tell me to calm down?" Then black mist radiated off of her. "All of our lives were ruined…" She then pointed at Oscar. "Because of HIM!" She shouted as she ran over to the frightened farmhand and pushed him up against the bars. "HOW DARE YOU!" She shouted.
It took the combined efforts of Weiss, Nora, and Ren to try to get Yang off of Oscar and drag her back. Blake was now sitting on the ground, still feeling her cheek hurt a bit and tears going down her face.
Qrow was looking all around and even though he too was not happy with what he had heard, all he could see was the drama and chaos surrounding them all…everything and everybody was falling apart. He then gave a sigh as he looked out. "Ruby…please be safe"
Meanwhile, Axel was nearby and looking at the group, as he was looking, he noticed dark mist radiating off Yang and he sighed a bit. "Only a matter of time I guess." For some odd reason…Axel did not seek to be thrilled about this. He then looked around. "I better get out of here…" He muttered before vanishing.
Ok everyone..so here we are, at the end of the Hollow Bastion Arc, and we are about to enter the second visit to the other worlds!
Again I wish to apologize for taking such a long time to do this as my life is just one big cluster f-bomb at the moment…
Anyway, as I mentioned before, my goal is to hopefully get this story all finished by the end of this year….at least I hope to get this done by the end of this year, but you never know.
Anyway yeah…so what do you guys think will happen to RWBy since Rooster Teeth is getting shut down? Will it get picked up by another network? Will they decide to pull the plug? I guess we can wait and find out…
