Hello everyone. Today is Martin Luther King day in America. I hope you enjoy this special-one shot that I decided to write.
It is the United States of America, Blu along with his family are listening to the "I have a dream speech" that Martin Luther King gave in Washington on August 28th, 1963 a speech that he is giving to his people.
Blu and his family have come to America with Linda, Tulio, and Fernando in order to celebrate Martin Luther King day, a special holiday of January that is to celebrate the life and achieve of this human being and he was a hero. Martin Luther King who stood up for equality and true justice in order to achieve civil rights.
The famous speech was done. Blu and his family decided to fly out to an Martin Luther King statue. They began to share what Blu and his family liked about Martin Luther King Junior.
"So kids, what do you like about Martin Luther King and tell me about facts about him?" Blu asked his kids.
"I like the fact that he is willing to fight for equality." Bia said as she explained her reason.
"Dad, Martin Luther King knows that everyone should be treated as equals, no matter what." Carla added.
"I like I have a dream speech." Tiago said as he smiled. "It inspired people to do good deeds."
"I like how Martin Luther King stood up for civil rights, equality, and end to segregation." Jewel said.
"I like about Martin Luther King considered as a hero because of his role in the Civil Rights Movement and his commitment to nonviolent resistance and social justice." Blu said.
Everyone in the family nodded their heads in agreement and smiled. Martin Luther King is a good man and he is the reason why America has changed. Tiago will always remember the speech that "I have a dream speech".
The blue macaw family decided to go back to Linda, Tulio, and Fernando. They are thinking about what the future will hold for the United States of America.
When the blue macaws returned back to Linda and Tulio. They go back to the hotel. Bia and Tiago was on the roof and think about what will Martin Luther King do if he was still alive.
"I really wished that Martin Luther King was still alive." Bia said.
"Me too sis. America needs him. America will still remember the good deeds on what Martin Luther King done. The future depends on it." Tiago said.
Bia smiled at her younger brother. She hugs and Tiago hugs her back. They know Martin Luther King will always be remembered in United States of America forever. His spirit will always be with America people. All people support Martin Luther King. Martin Luther King is a good man who achieved his dreams.
Wow, what an excellent man he was. the United States of America were lucky to have him as a hero. Happy Martin Luther King day, everyone.
