Resting Time Chapter 5

"Wake up, Lily," a mysterious voice said. began to stir, her eyes slowly blinking open. She moaned and slowly opened her eyes, finding her vision slightly blurry from just waking up. She rubbed her eyes and saw that she was in her room, with her little sisters Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Lisa gathered around her bed, their heads down, asleep, and worried about something. Lucy was holding onto Lily's right hand, Lana held onto Lily's left hand, Lisa was holding onto Lily's right arm, not wanting to let her go, and Lola was hugging Lily tightly. It was not like a normal hug; it felt like a daughter hugging her mother to make her feel better. Lily didn't know what was going on. She remembered being at school and now she was back in her room. She didn't understand what had happened, but she decided to wake up her. Lily chose to wake up Lola because she was closest to her

Lily, feeling weak, softly called out, to Lola. "Lola, wake up." After a few seconds, Lola opened her eyes and looked up to see Lily awake. Upon seeing her, Lola hugged Lily tightly and said, "Lily, are you okay?" Tears streamed down Lola's face. One by one, Lily's sisters began to wake up. When they saw her, they screamed with joy and tears.

Lucy, Lana, and Lisa: Lily…

They embrace her, showing their deep concern.

Lisa: You will okay, my older sibling, Lisa says with a sorrowful tone. Lucy: I was worried you would be lost in the dark, trying her best to hold back tears.

Lana: You are going to be okay, Lana says, tears streaming from her eyes.

"Take care, Lily, please," Lola says, her voice still breaking. Lola is more upset, with tears streaming from her eyes and staining her dress. At this moment, Lola doesn't care about her dress getting messy; she only cares that Lily is okay. This behavior even surprises her other sisters. Lana, Lisa, and Lucy have never seen Lola act like this before. Even Lily is surprised by it, but she wants to know what happened and how she got home. She looks at her sisters and starts asking.

Lily: Oh, can you explain what happened and how I got home? They look at each other and begin to tell her older sisters what transpired.

Flashback

Three hours ago, Lucy, Lisa, Lana, and Lola were in their third period class. Lana and Lola were in their math class taking notes, Lucy was in her favorite writing and poetry class, and Lisa was working with her robot while the rest of her class was listening to Storytime. A few minutes later, they heard Cheryl make an announcement.

Cheryl: Call the following student to come to the principal office. Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Lisa can you come to the principal office? All four of them needed clarification but not too long they did as they did and held onto the Hugging office. Once there they all waited and tried to take what they did. After a few seconds, Principal Hugging and Cheryl Walk in, but the loud sisters know they both have worried execution. A few minutes later Lana was about to say something, but Hugging stopped her.

Hugging: You four are not in trouble. They all sign in relief but still want to know why they are here if they are not in trouble. After about a few minutes Huggin started talking.

Huggin: OK you all want to know why you in her right.

Loud sisters: Yes, Principal Hugging.

Huggin: OK, after the third period began, I was checking the hallway to ensure that no one was in the hall when the bell rang. Before I could walk back to my office, I sensed something or someone. The Loud sisters were to get concerned. When I looked to see who was on the floor, I saw it was your older sister, Loud. After saying this, Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Lisa became concerned, worried, and scared. Huggy sighed and began to speak again. Huggin: After seeing her on the ground, I ran to her to make sure she was okay.

I tried to call her name, but she didn't respond. So, I called the nurse to come check on her and take her to the nurse's office After he finishes his story he has his down, and Cheryl gets some tissue to wipe her tears. The Loud sisters are all shocked to hear this. Lucy looks down and has her hand on her face trying to stifle her tears. Lana and Lola hold each other as tears start flowing, and even the 4-year-old genius Lisa starts to cry, showing that she is still human. After some crying, the Loud sisters want to know if she is okay.

The loud sisters asked, "Is she okay?" Hugging looked at them and spoke, "Yes, she's okay. Your sister is in the nurse's office. went on to call your Lori and explained everything. She is on her way here to pick all you up." Hug stopped talking and let Cheryl speak because she knew he too upset.

Cheryl: You girls can go to class to get your belongings and wait for your sister to come for you. They all nodded their heads and began heading back to class to gather their things and proceed the nurse's office. Their friends wanted to ask what had happened but they were not in the mood to talk. After retrieving their bookbags and all their belongings were inside, headed out of classroom and went where their sister Lily was.

End of Flashback

After they finished explaining everything, Lily was surprised but felt guilty making her little sisters worry. She looked at them and spoke, "I'm sorry for making you guys worried." Lily tried to sit up, but her stomach and head started to.

Lily: Ouch, Lily said, hurt and in pain. Lola looked at her with concern and asked worriedly. Lola: Lily, what's wrong? Are you okay? The rest of her sisters reacted the same way. Lily: Yes, I think it's just my stomach and head. After saying this, Lisa provided an explanation. Lisa: I think not eating for a while you feel weak and dizzy, causing you to pass out and hit your head and stomach hard on the floor. After hearing this, Lily couldn't believe she had made her little sisters worry. She looked at them, still seeing their tear-streaked faces, and spoke.

Lily: I'm sorry. They all looked at her, and Lana said. Lana: Sorry for not doing anything. Lily sighed, looked at them, and spoke again. Lily: For making you guys worry. I have just been having a bad day lately. Lily gave an example to her younger sisters. Lucy: Yeah, you had a gloomy day. But we were worried when Hugging told us everything. Lucy was about to finish, Lola interrupted. Lola: We thought you were gone. Lily looked at them and decided to say this, even if might be a little hurtful.

Lily: "Well, if I were gone, you all would be fine without me. As if I never existed." After Lily says this, she looks at her sisters. expressions were furious, angry, and increasingly upset. Before long, they all screamed loudly.

Loud: No, it will not the same without you.

Lily was surprised to hear Lola put her head on her chest and say, "It won't be same if you leave us. We need you, I need you," sobbing loudly. Lana, with tears streaming down her face, added, "You help a lot when we need help." Lucy, her voice breaking, said, "We aren't the same without you." Lisa, crying, said, "You, our smart sibling, do need to exercise." Before long, all of them were crying simultaneously. Lily regretted what she had said, so she held Lola and raised her arm. "Come here," she said. One by one, all her sisters ran to her, crying. "I won't leave. I will be there for you, so don't cry. Your big sister is always here for you," Lily said, comforting her little sisters. "Please don't leave us," they pleaded loudly.

Lucy: We

Lana: Love

Lola: You

Lisa: Very

Loud sisters: Much.

Lola: You are the best thing that has ever happened to us.

Loud Sister: YOU ARE THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO US, SO PLEASE DON'T LEAVE US. They all say in tears. After hearing that, Lily starts crying too and says, Lily: I LOVE YOU TOO. YOU ALL ARE THE BEST SISTERS I COULD EVER HAVE.
