Steven, Big Baby and Plank-Ton were putting the gang in cage pins and locking them in the shelfs, Connie was being pulled by Soundwave, Rumble and Goobot before kicking herself free and tries to run only for her to capture by Laserbeak the robotic hawk, and carried by the shoulders up to Swiper who tauntingly says: "Where do you think you're going?" Then Laserbeak drops her into a cage pen and in front was Steven standing affirm, and she tries to reach him: "Steven! We're your friends!" But he turns around and ignoring her words but replies: "Spare me your lies, temptress. Your emperor's defeated." He locks her up, "And I'm immune to your, bewitching good looks." He leaves her still believing he's the real deal.
Bobby Potato Head says to Big Baby as he loads Lori Potato head into a cage: "Hey, bebé! Keep your paws off my wife." But he turns around and pick him up and was about to put him in, "Hey! Let me go you drooling infant!" But before he can load him in, Bellwether stops Big Baby and says: "Not him. I think this potato needs to learn himself some manners." To which he turns around and carries him over his head. "Take him to the Box." She spoke with a sinister smile, as they pass Leni while Bobby kept demanding he be put down: "Hey! Put me down you moron! Where are you taking me? Bad baby! Bad baby!"
Leni saw what's happening and began to question her new boyfriend: "Scott? What's going on?" To which he answers while trying to play innocent: "Leni!" He rushes to her, "I told you to wait in the Dream Castle." He whispers trying to lead her back in the Butterfly Room. But she still questions: "What are you doing to my friends?"
She saw Soundwave, Goobot, and Plank-Ton literally tossing the lil ducklings into a cage and slamming it into the shelf. Leni was shocked and horrified by the treatment and so she pushes her now ex-boyfriend aside, he tries to plead with her: "Leni, wait!" She replies to him still angry: "Don't touch me. We're through!" She walks to her friends and he still tries to say something but he falls short on words, then she returns at first he was happy but takes the scarf and says "And give me my scarf back!" This what deeply emotionally wounds him.
Soon she is locked in a cage with Steven pushing her into place, Bellwether says to Steven: "Universe! Explain our overnight accommodations." To which he salutes and says: "Ma'am yes ma'am!" He begins to explain in a military fashion, "Prisoners sleep in their cells. Any prisoners caught outside of their cell will spends the night in the box. Roll call at dusk and dawn."
Outside Big Baby still carries Bobby to the sandbox and throws him in, he turns around only for Big Baby closes the lid sealing him in.
"Any prisoner misses roll call, spend the night in the box." Back in the Caterpillar Room, Steven speaks still acting like a security guard and Gem Ranger. "Prisoner will not speak unless spoken too. Any prisoner talks backs…" Connie interrupts annoyingly: "In the box! We get it. Completely oblivious at this point." He turns around and was about to engage but he is stopped by the sheep toy who says to him: "At ease soldier. They're neutralized." She puts her arms on Steven's shoulder. "But remember. They'll say things that will make you doubt yourself." To which the Gem Ranger replies: "Not to worry commander. Any doubt in me was pounded out of me in the academy." He reassured her in his supposed memories.
Then Bellwether turns her attention to the now imprisoned toys: "Listen up folks." She steps on some building blocks. "We got a way of doing things here at Sunnyside. You start at the bottom, pay your dues, life here can be a dream come true!" She started to explain the hierarchy and how anyone can achieve. "But if you break our rules, step out of line, try to check out early, well, you just hurting yourselves." She demonstrates as she tosses Lincoln's hat, which Lori and Connie tries to stop her from running to the cage bars.
They were shocked, Connie exclaims: "Lincoln! What did you to him?" But she doesn't answer the question, instead she says: "You all get a full night's rest. You got a full day of playtime tomorrow." She laughs as she and the others mount on the dump truck and drive off.
At Bubbles' home on the computer, Lincoln types on the keyboard with a map on the screen, but then a message pops up saying 'U there? I made it 2 the Dark Fortress!' Lincoln questions: "Who's Gnomestar237?" To which Mabel interferes and answers as she types on the keyboard: "Oh! That's just a garden gnome down the street. That's nothing. Let me take care of that. Just a garden gnome." She finishes but Lincoln wasn't gonna question her or reasons and says: "All right." He types in the address, "Okay, enter." He pleads not to be far, to his surprise it is like a block away. "Right around the corner? It's right around the corner!" He whispery yells and hugs the anime plushie.
He jumps off and continues to celebrate, as he climbs down the chair, "I'm going to college! Look at me! I'm big toy on campus!" He is about to leave through the dog door. "Hey, listen. If any of you guys get it too Sunnyside Daycare, you tell them, Lincoln made it home." Katara fearfully questions: "You came from Sunnyside?" To which Mabel also in fear questions: "But, how'd you escape?" At first the cowboy doll answers: "Well, it wasn't easy." But he stops in mid sentence and asks them, "What do you mean 'escape'?"
The group hesitates to answers but Squidward walks up and answers: "Sunnyside is place of ruin and despair. Ruled by an evil sheep who smells of vanilla." This confused Lincoln who climbs back in and still questions: "Bellwether?" Donkey adds: "She may seem plush and lovable on the outside, but inside, she's a monster." The cowboy doll still questions: "But…how do you know that?" The squid toy turns to the kitchen window and answers from someone else: "Spinel. She will tell you."
Over on the windowsill Spinel stood gazing into the night, Spinel has a pink complexion, magenta eyes, a small pointy nose, and dark cerise hair that is styled into messy also has three black lines underneath both of her eyes, an inversion of the eyelashes from her original form and reminiscent of running mascara. Her clothing consists of a plum-colored top, puffy pointed hot pink sleeves, puffy rose shorts, hot pink wrist-length gloves, white stockings, and a pair of rose knee-high pointy boots. Her gemstone is located in the center of her chest, cut in the shape of an upside-down heart with lots of facets and detail. She has a stoke expression showing her painful experiences in life.
Spinel spoke of her former friend and the toy she was: "Yeah, I knew Bellwether. She was a good toy. A friend. Me and her, we had the same kid. Daisy."
Flashbacks years prior, Spinel's overall design is shorter and rounded in contrast to her current taller and pointier design. She had black cartoonish eyes with three visible eyelashes on each, and her hair was styled into a pair of heart-shaped buns. Her top was white with more rounded pink sleeves and her boots become a pair of big magenta shoes. Spinel's previous color palette is also brighter than her current one which uses darker tones. Her heart Gemstone was right side up, has a smile on her face.
Spinel voice overs explaining what happened to them, "I was there when Bellwether got unwrapped." Showing it was Christmas time, Daisy removes the lid of the box and picks up Bellwether, she held in her arms.
Another scene all three in toy chairs, Daisy giving Big Baby a bottle in his mouth, Daisy puffing Spinel's hair, and she picks up Bellwether, "Daisy loved us all. But Bellwether, Bellwether was special." She carries her favorite toy out.
Another scene of them all swing on separate swing seats as Daisy pushes them. "They did everything together. You've never seen a kid and a toy more in love." The child and her sheep toy were on the bed, she was reading a book, puts it down and hug Bellwether.
Then Daisy, Bellwether, Big Baby and Spinel were in the car together. "one day we, took a drive. Hit a rest stop. Had a little playtime." She explains the crucial moment as Daisy lays on her back with her toys beside her but Bellwether raised in the air. She sees her parents ready with the picnic lunch. Then she was being carried by her father to the car and buckled up, "After lunch, Daisy fell asleep." They did everything car drove off leaving the said toys behind, they came to life and wondered if she would return for them, but time passed, "She never came back." Bellwether with her hovered hands raises and looks at the heart necklaces around Big Baby's neck with Daisy's name on it. "Bellwether wouldn't give up." They began their long and treasurers journey back home to Daisy walking through the long grass.
Time they reached home just as the sun was setting. "It took forever, but we finally made it back to Daisy's."
Under the windowsill outside, Big Baby lifts up Bellwether and Spinel to see if she was in there. "But by then, it was too late." Daisy puts down the book revealing she replaced her with a replica toy. She hugged the new toy almost forgetting the old one.
The two toys were devastated by the replacement, as they are lowered down, Bellwether walks ahead for a moment thinking, growing angry. "Something changed that day inside Bellwether. Something snapped."
Past Bellwether says angered for the betrayal: "She replaced us. Come on!" She walks forward, but past Spinel disagreeable says: "No, she only replaced you!" Bellwether turns around and outwardly says to Spinel: "She replaced all of us. Didn't she?" Spinel raised her hands up to her face in fear of her friend who angrily spoken to her. Big Baby was beginning to cry and wanted to see if he too was replaced, he wanted to see Daisy. But the sheep toy grabs the baby toy and says to him: "She don't love you no more!" She then rips the neck off and throws it to the ground and drags him by the arm. "Now come on!" Past Spinel watched and was torn between her friend and her kid but stays with them.
Time passed they were on the back end of a pizza planer delivery truck as it rains on them. Present Spinel voice overs the events: "We were lost. Castoff. Unloved. Unwanted." Then the truck hits a pothole the three toys falls off, hitting the road and sidewalk. "Then, we found Sunnyside." Then they look up to see Sunnyside as thunder light clap revealing the daycare center. Bellwether gets up and walks to the said place with a grim look on her face. "But Bellwether wasn't my friend anymore." The past Spinel was still sadden by the events that will lead to the current chain of events.
In the present with Spinel's current look she speaks still: "She wasn't anyone's friend." She reaches into her pocket and pulls out the heart piece of the necklace with Daisy's name on it. "She took over Sunnyside and rigged the whole system." Lincoln questions: "So how'd you get out?" The Gem toy answers: "I got broke. Bubbles found me, took me home." She shows her stitches on her side. "Other toys, they weren't so lucky. It ain't right what Bellwether's done. New toys, they don't stand a chance." She spoke from experience of those who try to escape and that new toys become part of the Sunnyside as a prison.
Lincoln speaks regarding what he needs to do: "But my friends are in there." Then the other Bubbles' toys points out the danger of it, starting with Donkey: "You can't go back." Squidward adds: "Returning now would be suicide!" Then Katara questions: "But, what about your Potato?" Mable finishes: "Isn't she leaving for college?" Lincoln thinks long and hard of what his next move should be, return home or rescue his friends.
