Ok all, let's get into it.
"Come now, young Midoriya," Toshi said as he and his new trainee walked through the warm beaches of the bay, which were mostly cleaned up now but still had some work to do until it was finished. "You know this; I know you studied for it" he added.
"Yes sir" the young man nodded as the two made their way up the steps and back onto the road "In the event of an active villain attack, I need to make sure all the civilians are out of danger before I start fighting back," he said with a straight back.
"Unless…" he hinted as they crossed the road and started to head down the street, back towards the park so he could finish the training day with his run.
His eyes widened slightly as he looked forward, going in every direction as he tried to think about what he could have missed. "Unless… Oh, unless the villain is in the process of an attack or use of their Quirk that would result in immediate death for others," he smiled.
"Good work" he smiled back thinking about how the young Midoriya might not be the strongest kid around, but they could work on that, at least he already had a mind for it.
"All Might, can I ask you something?" he asked the older hero.
"Sure, what's on your mind?" he asked as they started to make their way through a group of people who were glued to their phones 'young people these days' he thought to himself as they had to walk around the ground.
Stepping back together he glanced at his trainee as he started speaking "I was just wondering, what was it like? Being the sidekick to Superman" he elaborated.
He knew this question was coming sooner or later, while it wasn't well known why he became the man of steels sidekick, it was known to all that he was "Intimidating" he answered honestly, noting the shocked look from Midoriya he continued "Don't get me wrong he was kind, compassionate, understanding and just about the best teacher that anyone could hope for. But he's Superman. He's not just a hero, he's the Hero. When I was with him I always felt that what I did wasn't good enough. Working with the Justice League certainly didn't help much either" he added, that last part coming out before he could stop himself, he glanced at Midoriya and noticed his expression.
"Sorry, that last part was a bit of a rant" he sighed "Truth is I was in a bad place when he took me under his wing, I was only with him because my master was killed by the same villain who gave me this" he patted his wound over his t-shirt "I was angry, brash, determined. I always wanted to be the hero who smiled brightly in the face of any danger but after that, I felt that I didn't have it in me. Superman was the one who taught me how I could use all those emotions and channel them into something good"
Seeing Midoriya smile at him made him feel better about his explanation "That reminds me, I'll need to introduce you to him at some point soon" As he said the words the young trainee nearly tripped as he walked.
"WHAT!? " he shouted before placing both hands over his mouth before he could draw too much attention to himself. That didn't stop him from walking into some man in the back who looked like he didn't even notice, too deeply was he looking at his phone. "Sorry," he said before moving past and going right back to Toshi's side. "You're not kidding?" he asked, seemingly unable to believe he could meet him.
Toshi let out a small laugh. "Of course not. You're going to be my successor. It would do you good to meet him. Haha, maybe you could do some training under him as well," he suggested.
Before Midoriya could pass out from shock the sound of a crash was heard nearby. They both turned to see two cars being squeezed into each other near a set of green lights, he was about to go over and make sure everyone was ok but it looked like he didn't need to. The door to the back car opened up and the driver stepped out, he looked well enough but understandably angry. The driver in the first car, the one he assumed didn't move or something of that nature stepped out as well but like others, he was staring at his phone 'Another with no common sense it seemed' he thought to himself as he was started to get amazed that the man still didn't look away from his phone, but that wasn't the most shocking thing weirdly enough.
When the angry yelling driver moved over towards the other, the shouting stopped he looked at the phone and his eyes widened. Placing a hand over his mouth in shock "All…. All Might" young Midoriya said with a shaking voice.
He turned to look down at him to see that he wasn't even looking forward, instead, he was facing the building they were walking next to. His eyes were watering and his body was shaking, Toshi immediately followed his gaze and when he first caught a glimpse of it, his mind refused to believe it. The people were gathered around the large store window which displayed a collection of large TVs. Nobody was moving, some young ladies were holding each other as they wept, and a man looked like he was about to pass out.
He took a step forward without even meaning it, his eyes glued to the screen. It was a news feed from the U.S. It looked like it was coming from the middle of a crater, some type of monster was on the ground with its neck snapped but he wasn't looking at that. Instead, he was looking at what was on top of it. It was Clark, he was on his back being cradled by Diana who looked like she was crying. His head was being held against her chest as her fingers moved through his hair. He took in the image of other members of the Justice League in the background looking incredibly beat up, he noticed Star and Stripe as well who was cradling a broken-looking arm. It was then that he noticed the large headline at the bottom of the screen "SUPERMAN DEAD"
He stepped out of the smoke that his entrance had caused, tossing his jacket to the side "I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong when Aizawa and Thirteen wouldn't answer my calls, so I hurried over" he announced to the students that were near the stairs leading to the main floor of the dome. The fact not all of them were present was concerning but he couldn't worry about that just yet, he needed to make sure all the villains were dealt with first "I ran into young Ida along the way. He told me of the Villainy at work here" he glanced down at the heavily injured Thirteen and felt his fists tighten even further, all of this happening because he was too busy resting up after using up his power "Have no fear, students" he reached up and gripped his tie before ripping it off his neck "Because I am here!" he shouted loud enough that everyone scattered around the dome would be able to hear him.
He continued to walk forward until he reached the top of the stairs. "Now, which of you evildoers wants to feel the wrath of…" he started, completely ready to address every single villain that was down there. He was not willing to let something like numbers get in the way of peace.
But he couldn't help but stop as he looked down to the central floor, he saw what looked like the leaders of the group, a villain covered in hands and someone made of mist, a large hulking monster of a creature that looked like it could pack a punch. That wasn't what stopped him though, no that was closer to him. Near the base of the stairs, just slightly forward from them. He saw Kon, at least he saw him from behind. He could see the bodies littered around him, he could see the pool of blood that was getting larger and larger as the liquid leaked out from the dead.
He wasn't one to so easily succumb to shock but when he saw him there surrounded by the dead. Where no one else could be responsible for the carnage, he didn't want to accept it, that the son of Superman could be capable of such a thing. But it looked like it was the only way this could have happened. He didn't have time to worry about this, for now, he will give Kon the benefit of the doubt and assume this was something else. Right now, he had to work.
He blitzed forward as quickly as he was able, Kon looked to be still in fighting shape, but the others were different. To most others, it would have seemed that he just appeared in front of Aizawa before picking him up and looking over his injuries. The teacher was in bad shape, he was still conscious but many of his bones were broken, and he needed medical aid, he didn't want to think about how much pain he was in "I'm sorry, Aizawa. I should have been here" he said to the dark-haired man who was looking up at him.
The homeroom teacher of class 1.A choked on some blood that was leaving his mouth "All…. Might… Kon" he gritted his teeth as he tried to force the words out "Something…. wrong" was all he could manage before he passed out completely.
All Might turned to look at the others who were mostly staring at him, except for two. The large creature and Kon. When he looked at Kon, the benefit of the doubt left him completely. He looked over to the young man and he nearly assumed he was a villain right then and there. He knew right then that Kon was the one who killed all those people, he was covered head to toe in blood and gore, but his eyes were completely focused on the large creature and the smile he had on his face. Toshi shuddered as he looked at it, it wasn't right. No child should have that look on his face "All Might" a voice further back whispered from the others, and he looked to see his successor as well as young Mineta and Young Tsu standing just out of the artificial lake. He moved again and the three students blinked to find themselves at the base of the stairs along with their teacher who was being gently placed down.
"uh…. What the heck?" Mineta said as he looked around wondering what just happened.
"All of you back to the entrance" he said to the three as he could clearly note that Kon wasn't listening to him "And take Aizawa with you. He doesn't have much time" he ordered.
"Yes, Sir!" Mineta said with a salute before he and Tsu quickly moved to their teacher and started to pick him up before carrying him down the stairs, if a little awkwardly.
"All Might" Deku said as he looked towards the hero and back to Kon who still didn't turn around to see them despite being so close, he then looked at the ground. All the dead, the gore and the blood "Kon, he…" he started.
"I know" Toshi said back to him as he glanced down at him "I know he did this, I don't know why and I will find out but for now. Get out of here" he ordered and Deku nodded before helping the others get their teacher up the stairs.
"Well, isn't this a surprise" The leader with all the hands around him started "Japan's number one hero here to save the day Hahaha" he laughed so hard he threw his head back "But you're too late now, the work is done. We've seen his true colours now and so will everyone else"
"I don't know what you're talking about" Toshi started as he walked forward, ready for a fight "But this ends…." He looked down as he felt a strong pressure on his chest.
Kon moved for the first time since he arrived, he reached up with his right hand clasped into a fist, blocking him from moving forward. All Might looked down at the young man and stuttered as he saw the pure murderous intent in his eyes "Leave" was all he said to the older hero, but the way he said it. All Might almost went into a guarded stance, the hate in his voice was powerful, and he thought he would be attacked by him if he tried to intervene.
"I… Young Kon" he tried to say.
"I would listen to him," the leader said, getting the attention of the others "In case you didn't notice that the class was split up, I made a note to Kurogiri for him to scatter the more…... good-looking young ladies to a certain location" he started to explain, and everyone present started to get a bad feeling in their guts "You might want to go and rescue them because the ones I sent to deal with them are just a little bit…" he pinched his fingers together "rapey," he said.
He wanted to stay, he knew he needed to stay. The leader was here and if he takes him down now he could end this right now, but what he said. It wasn't a bluff, he knew that. He's seen what such an act can do to women, even some brave heroes were not above falling to despair and depression. If it happened to the young students, he grits his teeth in frustration "Go" Kon snarled to him as he shoved his chest with his fist. All Might stumbled back slightly at the power behind it "He's mine" he said again as he turned back forward and started to walk towards the Nomu.
All he could do was let out a sigh, backup was coming, and he was confident that Kon could hold his own until they did. At least that is what he would tell himself, but he needed to find the other students and make sure they were safe "I'll be back" he added in more of a warning tone to young Kon than the villains. He turned and jumped away into the air, heading to the nearest disaster zone to look for the others.
Kon's eyes were locked on the enemy, his body was aching in pain but he ignored it. He didn't care about the other villains, all he cared about was the creature. His heart was racing a thousand beats a minute, the blood pumping around his body faster than it ever did before, he was breathing so quickly. He opened his hands before closing them again and again 'What was this feeling?' he thought to himself as he reached the halfway point to the Nomu. He didn't know what was happening, but one thing was clear.
He liked it.
"Now that he's gone," the leader said "Nomu, kill him" he ordered.
The creature let out a screech as it charged towards him, the smile on Kon's face only brightened when it did so, and he ran forward. They met in the middle, and both threw a powerful right hook, the fists collided against each other creating a small shockwave. Then again with the left, there was no strategy in this, there was no grand plan. It was just throwing punches against each other, and he loved every second of it. The force of the two fighting each other proved enough to start cracking the ground under them as they fought.
"Come on now" the leader said over the sound of them fighting "Don't tell me you haven't noticed yet, the other Quirk Nomu has in his arsenal is shock absorption" he spread his arms wide, sounding so proud of himself.
"GOOD!" Kon shouted back as instead of throwing a punch, he jumped in the air over the Nomu, moving over its head, he grabbed it with both hands as he flipped his body over it and bent its back backwards.
Kon kept his grip tight as he lifted the Nomu off the ground, removing one hand from its head and bringing it to the base of its lower back. His fingers dug into the creature's skin, he pulled it to the ground over his bent knee and Kon could feel its spine snap in half under the force of the move but he didn't stop there. He picked it up again and threw it away towards the Villains, the one with all the hands had to dive out of the way as the creature landed where he did.
Kon walked forward again "Come on, get back up!" he shouted as he stood over the creature as it screeched in what he could assume was pain. Completely uninterested in the other two.
"You fool" the hand's villain said as he picked himself up "Did you forget about its regeneration?" he said mockingly.
"Are you joking?" Kon said as he stepped onto the Nomu's chest, not caring for the two villains, like they weren't even a factor to him. His mind was only on the fight before him "This is incredible! More! GIVE ME MORE!" He shouted as he looked to the Nomu who swung at him with its right hand, the blow smacking Kon in the chest and causing him to fly through the air and smash into the base of the stairs, the pain he felt lingered throughout his body. It felt amazing, this was amazing!
"Now, get your hands up" the last Villain standing said calmly as he looked at both Momo and Jiro "And no Quirks, got it?" he added as he lifted Kaminari into the air by his jacket, the electric hero in training still in a complete daze after the use of his power which gave his brain a little short circuit "Or I will kill him"
Both Momo and Jiro grit their teeth as they see how helpless he is to the Villain. After the Villains started to attack each other because a lot of them thankfully didn't like the idea of raping them, it gave them time for Momo to use her Quirk to create a thick piece of insulation allowing Kaminari to use his Quirk in its most potent way without having to worry about hurting them as well.
This is what led to all the Villains currently on the ground being knocked out and twitching from the overexposure to so much voltage. Except for this one, who was at the back of the group, so he must have been out of range. Since he's holding the blonde so closely without worrying about any other attack, maybe he had a type of immunity Quirk or something of that nature. "Kaminari's helpless" Momo snarled.
"Damn Villain" Jiro agreed "He totally caught us with our pants down"
"Well… more like your tits out" the Villain said back as he looked to Momo who had admittedly used some of her own clothes to make the insulation quicker. Completely exposing her chest. It was back to normal now but as far as Momo was concerned the damage was done "Don't worry though, I wasn't one of…." He looked around at the down bodies until he pointed at one that was in a pool of blood "Those guys. Anyway" he raised a hand and showed that he had a Quirk similar to the blonde "I don't want to kill him, but I will if you make me"
Seeing the obvious threat, both students raised their hands in surrender "An electric type, he's probably the one who was jamming our communications"
"Good" he said as he started to walk forward "Don't move a muscle. We're gonna take this nice and slow" They didn't know what he was planning and would never figure it out.
"I AM HERE!" a voice shouted from the left of them. Before they could even blink, there was a flash near them. The Villain was on the ground completely knocked out, and Kaminari was safely in the arms of their teacher.
"All Might!" they both cheered as they lowered their hands.
"Students, I'm glad you're okay," he said as he walked towards them. "I'm sorry, but we don't have time for pleasantries. We need to get you out of here," he smiled.
Momo was about to suggest that they could take Kaminari back to the entrance while he looked for the others, but before she could, there was another flash of wind and lights. Her body jerked slightly, and she was dropped to the ground before her mind could catch up and tell that they had been moved.
"Guys!" a voice sounded, and Momo turned to see that Mina and many other class members were now there. She looked around to see that All Might must have taken them back to the entrance. "Are you okay? " she asked but didn't move away from a really bad-looking Thirteen.
"I…..." she tried to answer, but her head was still spinning. Something made her snap out of it. "KON!" she all but screamed as she was able to stand herself up on wobbling legs. "That scream! Where is he? Is he OK?" she asked the closest person she could see. It was Uraraka, and she didn't look good. She wondered if she had overused her Quirk again, remembering from the fight training that overuse of it could cause her to be sick.
She wanted to ask what was going on, but before she could, there was another flash and powerful gust of wind near her. "WHAT THE HELL! I WASN'T DONE YET!" said the annoyingly all-too-familiar angry voice of the class explosive psychopath and the redheaded tank.
"Chill out, man. We're back at the entrance." Kirishima looked around to see the rest of the class was looking at them. "Are you guys okay?" he asked them as he jogged over to the largest grouping.
"We're fine" Shoji said through one of his arms "but the teachers are in rough shape. We can't stay here for much longer, they need medical aid"
"We can't leave yet" Deku said as he moved away from Aizawa's side "There are still others in here, we need to make sure they're safe as well"
"It looks like All Might is dealing with that," Jiro added. As if summoned by her, All Might arrived with the final members of the class: Ojiro, whose large tail looked pretty beat up, and Tokoyami, who seemed as stoic as always. But others who looked would notice that he seemed far more out of breath.
The number one hero left again before anyone could ask questions "You are all well, I'm glad" Tokoyami said to them all as he moved over to the teachers to look them over himself "If needs be I can use Dark Shadow to carry them towards the school building at impressive speed" he told them all.
"YOU'RE CLASS REP HAS RETURNED!" a voice sounded, and all present turned to see the once cracked-open main doors be pushed open while the glare from the setting sun was bright, the light of it was blocked by the armour of their classmates "I have fulfilled my duty. And I've come back with reinforcements" the glare from the sun was completely broken by many other figures stepping closer and closer.
Every single student let out a wide sigh of relief at the sight of the U.A faculty moving forward into the fray without any hesitation "Sorry, everyone" the small rodent that was the U.A principal said as he was currently sitting on the shoulder of the teacher of class 1.B, Vlad King "I know we're a bit late, but I got the rest of the teacher over here as fast as I could"
There was another gust of wind, and the heads turned to see All Might return with Todoroki. The final student of the class apart from Kon "That's everyone" he said as he turned to look at the teachers who were moving around the students "You're here! Great, we need to get everyone out of here and make contact with the Watch Tower" he said to the others.
Ectoplasm, Snipe and Cementoss moved around the class and headed for the stairs while Present Mic, Midnight and Vlad King gathered around the injured "What about Kon" Todoroki asked him "That scream wasn't because he was in a happy mood" he added while others started to gather around.
"Where is the young Kon?" Nezu asked, his tone of voice surprisingly calm given the situation they were now in.
"He's down there" Snipe said as he and the others stood at the top of the stairs but didn't look like they were going to move down "There's a lot of bodies. He's fighting some type of creature. I can't keep track of them. All Might, help him out" he said to Toshi.
The number one hero hesitated only for a moment before he nodded and jumped over the others down towards the fight "That creature is strong, the rest of you keep back" Though he didn't have any type of rank over the other teachers, but it seemed his word was enough as they looked to be standing guard just encase things got out of hand.
"Sir" Deku said as he moved over towards the principal "It's not just the creature, it's Kon. Something's not right with him" he tried to explain.
"One moment" he said back as he turned his head "Power Loader, get Aizawa and Kurose onto the stretchers and get them to the school as fast as possible. Shuzenji has been alerted and will be getting the infirmary ready" he ordered.
"On it" the machine-savvy hero nodded as he quickly moved towards the two downed teachers and got to work.
"Now, what is wrong with young Kon, Midoriya?" he asked.
"He's lost his damn mind" Mineta interrupted him before he could answer and many heads in the class turned to look at him as he waved his arms around franticly "he killed like thirty people down there! And The psycho looked like he was enjoying it!" those of the class that didn't know looked at him in confusion and the others just remained silent.
"He's not wrong" Snipe said from his position as he looked down the stairs and many of the other teachers started to move to get a closer look themselves "There's a lot of bodies down there and the kids covered in blood" he said.
"It looks like whoever was in charge of this attack is either dead or gone" Ectoplasm added.
"What?" Tsu said as she stood near the other girls in the class "The leader was there a few moments ago. A man covered in hands who was standing next to the portal guy, Ribbit" she informed them but it was becoming clear that the sounds of fighting and shockwaves were getting louder and more powerful.
"Well, they're both gone now. And I'm beginning to think that young Mineta was right about Kon" Cementoss added, and the other teachers narrowed their eyes as they starred at the only one still fighting who worryingly and looked like he was trying to fight All Might as well as the creature "the young man looks like he's in some kind of trance, I've never seen him smile so brightly before"
Nezu hopped off Vlad King's shoulder and made his way towards the stairs so he could get a closer look himself, he could make out Kon and the creature fighting with powerful blows and incredible speed, something that none of his previous tests indicated he was capable of. All Might was there as well trying to get in the way of the fighting, not to stop it but to take the creature's attention away from the student and onto him but based on what he could see, Kon wasn't allowing this. His intelligent mind tried to put the pieces together but there was more to this puzzle than he was aware of "I will need to make a call to Kon's mother and have her sent down here to deal with him ASAP. The rest of you get the students somewhere safe and patch them up, the authorities will want to question them. Lock down the area and have every hero in the city on high alert" his orders were given without hesitation and being the pros that they were, they knew what to do. All the teachers moved, and the students had little choice but to go with them.
"PISS OFF!" a voice shouted and Nezu's small eyes widened as he watched Kon give a powerful backwards kick that landed on Toshi's stomach, right where his wound was located and the country's number one hero spat out blood and he flew through the air right over their heads. Even the teachers paused as hit the top of the main entrance's doorframe and slowly fell to the ground, though thankfully for his ego he was able to stop himself from landing flat on the ground. Toshi landed on a shaking knee before he was able to stand up in front of everyone and most importantly was able to keep himself from shrinking into his true form, even if he didn't like that terminology.
"ALL MIGHT!" he heard young Midoriya shout as he ran over towards him, while most of the class and teachers moved over as well.
"Are you alright?" Midnight asked as she stepped to his side waving the members of the class through the door and outside past him, though they were slow to do it. Clearly not happy and still on guard about everything.
"I'll….. I'll be fine" he said standing up though there was a slight wobble in his step "I just didn't expect the young Kon to pack such a punch" he explained as he got ready to head back into the fight between Kon and the Nomu.
"Wait" Nezu said before he could get far "I don't want this to get any worse than it has already. All Might, I want you, Snipe and Cementoss to remain near both Kon and the creature but don't intervene unless you have too" every teacher made to argue but he continued before they could "I know we should stop this but we do not know what is happening within the mind of young Kon and if he is willing to attack a teacher for getting in the way of his fight then I don't know what he would do if we managed to stop it altogether. We only intervene if we have to, apart from that we wait for his mother to get here" he ordered them all and while of course, none were happy, they accepted his plan.
The sounds of fighting and combat didn't stop, and Deku let out a deep sigh as he sat on the step-up of an ambulance with a thick blanket around him and a cup of hot chocolate in his hands. He and the rest of the class were spread out on the road that led to the USJ, there was a small army of local authorities present all around them.
He was sitting on one ambulance of many more that were spread out, there must have been dozens and dozens of police scattered around the area, each one on edge and looking ready to draw their weapons whenever the sounds of a punch echoed in the air from the dome, the top of it could just be seen over the nearby trees.
And then there were the reporters, the flashes of cameras still went off in the corner of his eyes and he glanced over towards them to see a small army of them being held back by barricades, constantly shouting out questions to anyone they could. Even as he looked up in the sky he could see helicopters trying to get closer to the dome to see what was going on but they were waved away by the heroes who could fly up and warn them away. He didn't know what the news knew and didn't know but he would wager a guess and say they had an idea of who was here and who wasn't, namely Kon.
The sun was still high in the sky though it was clearly still the day, not even been an hour since they left the dome and got patched up "Are you alright?" a voice called to him, and he looked back down to see Uraraka standing next to him.
"Yeah" he gave her a small smile as he scooted over and she took the invitation to sit next to him, unlike Deku she didn't have a blanket or cup to drink, he wasn't that surprised, the only reason he was given one was because he was in the lake and he didn't really feel it at the time, the water was cold "Fingers getting better, just a bit stiff" he lifted his hand to show his bandaged fingers.
"Is it true?" she asked him as she leaned forward and wrapped her arms around herself "Did Kon really do that?"
He frowned at the question, he didn't understand why Kon would do something like that and as much as he would like to deny it, he couldn't "Yeah, he did"
He knew it didn't comfort her; he wasn't exactly in a good place either. So much so that when she leaned into him, wrapping her arms around him and resting her head on his shoulder. She did that this morning and they both would have been blushing messes unable to do anything, but they were just too drained to care about that now, Deku gently loosened the grip she had on him though before she could think he was pushing her away, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and the blanket along with it.
The ground shook ever so slightly as the fighting continued "I must say, I was aware that he had an impressive level of stamina" the voice of Ida said as he moved over towards them and took a seat on the other side of Deku, leaning back slightly against the back door frame of the ambulance, the other two only give him a partial glance as he did so "but to keep fighting for this long without stopping, it's been over an hour now. How is he not tired?" he asked no-one in particular.
Though he was still in his uniform, he had taken his helmet off, rested it on his knee and let out a sigh.
"What do you think will happen?" Uraraka asked him as she continued to rest her head, her eyes growing heavy.
"I don't know" he answered honestly as he adjusted his glasses "Kon may be able to get an excuse that he's had some sort of mental break or side effect of his powers he didn't know about, but he'll need a battery of tests to prove it and even then, it might not be enough" he explained.
"What do you mean?" another voice asked, and the others all looked to the left and were surprised to see that Todoroki was the one who asked and made his way over towards them. He looked about as well as the rest of them, not really injured, just tired.
"Word of this is going to get out, legally the school needs to tell the public about what happened" he started to tell the rest of them "Kon didn't start this but when people find out he killed people, the son of Superman and Wonder Woman…." He let out a sigh and what he was saying sunk into the rest of them.
"When people find out he did this" Deku started "Do you guys remember what Kon told us the other day? About how the UN was trying to stop the Justice League vote. You don't think they'll use this as an excuse to do that, do you?" he asked them and was met with silence.
It did not last long though as a loud blast echoed in the air and everyone looked up to see a figure coming towards the ground with impressive speed. For one brief moment people thought this was some sort of attack, thankfully it stopped being the case the figure landed on the ground with impressive grace and stood up to reveal her form.
Wonder Woman stood up from the cracked ground, the reporters all but screamed out as they tried to climb over the police to get to her and ask her questions, no doubt realizing that if she was here and the other heroes weren't whatever was going on must have something to do with Kon. She didn't wait a single moment to acknowledge anyone around her before she started to walk towards the dome, where the sounds of battle hadn't stopped.
It was taking nearly all of his energy not to lose his grip on his form, Toshi and the other teachers were incredibly tense as they watched the fighting that hadn't stopped even for a single moment. The teacher in him was of course deeply concerned for his student who wasn't looking good, Kon's body was a complete mess of blood, cuts and bruises. But the hero in him couldn't help but admire his stamina and drive, never in all his time as a hero as Toshi had a battle this intense last this long. Even Superman never fought something for this long as far as he knew, he must be running on complete adrenaline….?
He frowned slightly as he remembered what Kon was, it was possible that he didn't have adrenaline in his body, he was an alien after all. Well, a hybrid but his other half wasn't exactly human either so maybe he would investigate it later.
The creature on the other hand looked just as good as it did at the start. Don't get him wrong, Kon had beaten the creature to near death at least six times but instead of finishing it off, he just stayed back and let it heal so it could get back up.
"This can't go on much longer?" Snipe said as he glanced at the others, his pistol was still drawn and ready to use at a moment's notice.
"Agreed" Cementoss added "It will take some time to rebuild the dome, even with me helping the cost will be nothing to scoff at" The others agreed with him on that one, the outer shell of the dome was still standing somehow but the inside was another story altogether. There was nothing left but rubble, the lake was mostly drained of water, which was now spread out everywhere. The landslide hills were now completely flat, and the ruined city was just chunks of rock and steel on the ground, the fire had been put out due to it having no fuel to burn.
Everything that the students could use for training was broken and would take time to rebuild "This is going to cause such a headache to deal with after" he replied calmly.
"Where is he?" a new voice called out to the three of them and Toshi let out a calm sigh as he saw Diana walking towards them with a confident stride, though it was clear to see how stressed and ready for a fight she seemed to be. Not that they could blame her of course.
"Diana" he said back as they stepped aside and allowed her through "Do you have any idea what could have caused this?" he asked, not answering the question because she could see clearly enough where he was.
Both Kon and the Nomu were now back in the middle of the dome pounding away at each other, though to those who were able to see the fighting when it just started it was clear to tell that both were slowing down. It was impressive that Kon was able to overwhelm the creature to the point that even its healing factor seemed to slow down in response to what they assumed was simple overuse.
"I know exactly what caused this" she replied coldly as she moved down the stairs towards the two, the shockwaves from their colliding fists washing over her with no real effect.
Toshi didn't know if Kon could sense her coming or if he saw her in the corner of his eyes. But as Diana got closer and closer the ferocity of his attacks increased again, he was hitting harder and faster. All the teachers watched as he reached forward with both hands and swung them upwards and with a perfect swing, the Nomu was launched into the air.
Not high enough to hit the ceiling but enough to get some airtime before falling back down, only when it did. Kon's eyes began to glow brighter, until he waved his head upwards, spread his arms and just like the other day in the training exercise, two large and powerful beams of blue energy shot out and completely enveloped the Nomu.
They all winced as a painful scream left the creature's beaked mouth before it stopped, it lasted a couple more seconds before with what looked like little effort on Kon's part, the beams stopped and with that, a large part of the dome's roof as well. All presents could see that all that was left of the creature was black ashes that moved gently through the air.
Kon had annihilated it.
When it was done, he didn't fall to the ground and pass out, he didn't come out of a trance and wonder where he was. Nothing so easy, instead he started to laugh. It was a light chuckle at first but it just kept getting louder and louder until it was loud enough to give even him, All Might, a run for his money.
Maybe he would stop now, but it looked like Diana wasn't willing to take that chance. The teachers watched as the world's Number One hero, unhooked the lasso of Truth from her waist and with the movements of a master, the rope was lashed around Kon's chest and before he could even understand what was happening Diana pulled him off his feet and towards her. Even All Might was surprised that she didn't even try and talk to him before pulling her fist back and with a punch only a few others could match in strength and technique. She hit her son right in his temple with a shock wave that caused Snipe and Cementoss to take a step back and steady themselves.
The Young Kon was knocked out.
Bit late on this one, I know but I wanted to add a little more to this since there won't be a chapter update next week since I'll be so busy. Anyway, don't worry they'll be an explanation for everything about why Kon acted the way he did in the next chapter.
Let me know what you all think and I'll see you in the next chapter.
