"You are not-" Two started.

"Yes I am," MePhone retorted. "I am a fat slob."

"No you aren't!" Two cried. "You just have a sweet tooth! Who told you that?" MePhone didn't reply, instead, he looked at the ground. "Look at me!" Two said, putting his hands on MePhone's shoulders, putting his arm around MePhone's cookies. "You. Are. NOT. A. Fat. Slob."

MePhone's eyes brimmed with tears. Two took his hands off MePhone. "Oh no, did I do it again?"

"N-no," MePhone said, his voice shaky. MePhone sniffled. "You...you really m-mean it?"

"Yes!" Two cried. "You just love sweets! There's nothing wrong with that!" MePhone held back tears. He sniffled again, and used his free hand to wipe tears. "Two...I..."

"What did I do?" Two asked, concerned. "Did I start something again?"

"N-no..." MePhone said. MePhone wiped his eyes, then looked at Two. "Two, I'm sorry!" he cried. He threw his cookies and ran towards Two, putting his arms around him. "I'm sorry! I was so mean to you!"

"M-MePhone?" Two asked. "Are...you okay?"

"I...I think it's time I tell you what happened," MePhone said. "You...you deserve to know."

"MePhone, y-you don't have to," Two said.

"I know, but...I can trust you."

Two led MePhone to a quiet part of the hotel, which happened to be outside, near the chairs that Four created for one of his contests a while back. "Okay, no one's nearby. Take your time," Two said.

MePhone inhaled. Okay, he's actually doing this. He's actually telling him what happened. He's going to dump all his trauma on him. MePhone exhaled. "Okay..."

He hesitated. He's really doing this. "So...it all started at Meeple Headquarters. Steve Cobs...he's uh...corn, he created me. But...he hid a secret inside of me. There is this race of eggs, the Shimmers, and it had the ability to create. That's how I could make my lights."

"Ohh!" Two exclaimed. "Oh, okay, that makes sense."

"And...I can't sleep without them, so thank you for that light."

"Anytime, buddy!" Two cheered.

"Anyway, he...he was mean to me. So...so I left him, and I took MePad, he became my co-host when he finished his updates. Anyway, I...I created Inanimate Insanity to get away from Cobs. I deleted my memories, so...so I didn't know I made them, or...anything. I...I used Inanimate Insanity as an escape from Cobs, but...it turns out I was doing exactly what he wanted.

"Eventually, he...he found me and...tried to take the Shimmer from me. When I resisted, he...he tried to...to kill me." MePhone put his hands on the crack on his face. Tears began forming in his eyes. "I...he tried to kill me and...MePad...he...he died for...for the contestants. I almost lost, until...I found out my contestants were alive, and...taking the Shimmer out of me to give back to their family. I...I recovered them all, even the island I created...and..."

He paused. "Cobs used to call me a fat slob because I ate so much. He told me I don't have to eat, but I did anyway. He wanted me to do things for him. He was...using me. So he didn't like me escaping. He..."

MePhone started crying, while keeping his eyes off of Two. Two put his hand on MePhone's back, consolingly. "He...he...he killed MePad. And its my fault. I...I deserved everything. I...I lied...I lied to everyone, even you, well, kinda. You knew I left contestants behind, but...but I didn't tell you how I left for a whole new season. I...I liked and hurt everyone and it's all my fault."

MePhone started crying into his hands. "I was just like...him..."

"Hey, hey," Two said, a saddened look on his face. "It's okay, MePhone. We all know that none of this is your fault."

"Yes it is," MePhone said through tears. "It's all my fault."

"Hey, don't tell yourself that," Two said, looking at MePhone. "You made mistakes, but we all do, there's nothing wrong with making mistakes."

"My mistakes cost someone's life. A very valuable life," MePhone said, turning towards Two. He looks both angry, and sad, at the same time.

"But you said he didn't die for you, but for your contestants," Two stated. "He died for a good cause. And...it's not your fault. You protected all of your contestants. You saved them, brought them all back to life, and...Cobs can't bother you anymore, right?"

MePhone sniffled, then nodded. "See, there you go. There's nothing wrong with that. I have my contestants solve my problems all the time! I once had them create an A-Two-sment Park for me!"

"'A...A-Two-sment Park?'" MePhone asked.

"Oh, yeah, that's just my fun little name for the amusement park I wanted to make. It, uh, it didn't go well to health and safety protocols though."

MePhone smiled. Then frowned again. "Look, I'm not entirely sure how to help you," Two started, "because I've never experienced the same thing before. But, all I can do, is tell you that me, and my contestants, are here for you in any way you need, whether that's pouring your heart out or just crying on someone."

MePhone just sniffled again. "How about this: whenever you need to, you can call on me and spill your heart out, and maybe we'll have a few waterworks together, huh?" Two suggested. "And...maybe we can go out and get ice cream? Or..." he hesitated, "cookies?"

"I do like cookies," MePhone admitted.

"There you go!" Two cheered. "You feeling better? Did you get everything out?"

MePhone hesitated. All his feelings. His hate, anger, sadness, and even some of his fear, it went away, not entirely, but it felt much lighter. His burden felt lighter. He felt...relieved.

"Yeah...I-I think so," MePhone said, wiping his eyes and turning towards Two. "Thank you."

"Hey, don't sweat it!" Two replied, smiling. "I'm just glad I could be here to help you! Do you need to cry?"

"No," MePhone said. "I can fry my circuitry if I cry too much."

"Gotcha," Two said, elbowing him. "Ready to go back to the hotel?"

"Give me a minute," MePhone said.

"Okay!" Two replied. He stood and walked a short distance from the tree, then stopped to talk to Book again.

The sunset. MePhone's seen millions, well maybe not millions, but a lot, of sunsets in his day, but none of them have ever been this beautiful. The pink clouds, turning orange and yellow in the spots closest to the sun. The tip of the sun, just peeking over the horizon. The sky, a bright pink, turning dark on top. It almost looks like a special kind of cotton candy he's always wanted to try.

For the first time in a while, he fells...warm. He hasn't felt this way since the beginning of season two, and some of season three, at least, until Springy came around. MePhone's first introduction in season one felt wonderful, all until he started becoming agitated with Apple, who couldn't spell, Bow, who wasn't even a contestant, Lightbulb, who wasn't the smartest, Knife, who just kept picking on people, even MePhone himself, and Nickle, who didn't like MePhone much in general. Season two started, hoping he could get a new start, with some new contestants, and a few returning ones. Test Tube, well, pretty much what she sounds like, wasn't a big fan of...well, anyone. Balloon was trying a new leaf, but was hated by everyone. Nickle didn't change. Fan...well, he was just annoying.

Then, season three. He was hoping season three would be it. It should be the season to get away from the memories he had to regain to operate fully again. MePad said he needed them. He didn't want them, but he needed them.

So, when he went out to do season three, he was hoping things would be different. They would be...longer. So Cobs couldn't find him. He brought back Yin Yang, Balloon, Test Tube, Fan, Nickle, and a few others. Along with a few 'fans' of Inanimate Insanity, who, in reality, didn't even know what it was.

Cabby was a little scary with her files on everyone. Bow...well, he just didn't like her, and he had no idea why she was back from the dead, or even how, but he didn't really bother much with it. Besides, she seemed...different somehow. Fan and Test Tube were much nicer, and friends with each other, and Nickle was...well, Nickle still didn't change. He picked on him, along with Yang, because he needs lights to go to sleep. 'Baby Host! Baby Host! Wah-wah-wah!' He hasn't forgiven him for that yet.

Season three was supposed to be his vacation, but that's not what ended up happening. Perhaps, this time with Two...maybe that'll be his vacation. Where he gets to get away from his contestants, and his life as a host, and maybe, he gets to relax for a while. Like, actually relax. Instead of hosting another season.

MePhone stood up. He sighed, putting his hands on his hips. This is the feeling he missed. Relief.
