Chapter 2: Delfino Island and Taisho Japan Part 2
Rei's group are sleeping in a hotel room somewhere on Delfino Island. Navi approaches them by flying above them.
Navi: Hello! Wake up! This is about your Keyblades! Get up!
Rei:(Sleeping)Mmm…Five more minutes…
Ila:(Sleeping)It's Saturday...
Abby:(Sleeping)It's too early...
Navi: Hey! Come on! Can the world's destiny really depend on such lazy children?
Then the children with their partners woke up slowly before yawning and sitting on the bed.
Ila: A fairy...?
Navi: Who else could it be? I see you finally woke up after two hours.
Rei: Sleeping two hours...Man...
?: I see you finally woke up.
Then they turned to see Fox and Link.
Abby: You're the ones from before.
Rei: That was uncalled for...!
Navi: Settle down. You're still recovering.
Ila: But he beat us!
Link: It wasn't on purpose.
Fox: Now sit down. We have a lot to explain.
The children sighs before sitting, but then looks for their Keyblades. Turning to their left, they saw the Keyblades next to the door.
Rei: Our Keyblades!
Navi: Yeah, we had to get it away from you to shake off those monsters.
Navi flies over to Link.
Navi: You see, that's how they were tracking you.
Link: It was the only way to conceal your heart from them. But it won't work for too long.
Link then picks up Rei's Keyblade.
Link: Still, it's hard to believe that you of all the people are the chosen ones.
The Keyblade disappears from Link's hand and reappears in Rei's hand. Then the ones of Ila and Abby teleported back to their hands.
Fox: Well, I suppose beggars can't be choosers.
Abby: We were chosen before meeting you all, just several years ago.
Rei: By the way...Isn't that the Master Sword?
Link looks at the Master Sword in his back.
Link: Yeah, it is.
Herissmon: Are you Link, the Hero of the Sky?
Link: Hero of the Sky? I'm the Hero of Time.
The children with their partners were slightly confused.
Hackmon: This is so confusing...
Ila: Yeah, he seems like the Link we knew, but he is different.
Abby: I think he could be a reincarnation from Link.
Pomumon: Should we tell him?
Abby: Maybe in another time.
Then they turned to see the three new ones in the room.
Rei: Surely, you should know that we come from a different world, right?
Fox: Yes, and there could be a ruckus if someone else more know about our homeworlds.
Ila: So, what happened from where you come from?
Navi: The Heartless appeared. All of them led by Ganondorf has captured Zelda again.
Fox: That man named Ganondorf has captured Krystal too. The reasons are unknown.
Abby: Does anyone know about the Heartless?
Navi: The creatures that attacked you. Remember? They are creatures born without hearts. The darkness in people's hearts attract them and consume those who have hearts, transforming them into creatures of darkness.
Ila: Oh my...Sounds serious.
Rei: Well, we faced them with our Keyblades. Even the attacks from our Digimon and Pokemon can defeat them.
The Pokemon and Digimon nods.
Link: The Heartless have great fear of the Keyblade. It's the only thing that can defeat them, but they'll stop at nothing to get them outta your hands. Without your Keyblades, they'll take your hearts. That's why they'll keep coming after you no matter what.
Rei: We've already faced many monsters before. Therefore, we shouldn't have problems. We're just a bit rusty.
Ila: However, knowing that Ganondorf is responsible for commanding the Heartless, I'm afraid that he is trying to get rid of us.
S. Fennekin: Fen...!
Fox: Well, if he knows that he has the Keyblade, he will send anything to defeat you. Therefore, you must get ready.
Rei: Yeah, I know what you mean and we're ready to face anything.
Link: Impressive. You remind me alot of myself when I was your age.
Navi: Link, watch out!
*Night of Fate*
A Heartless Soldier appears.
Fox: Let's go!
Link grabs his Master Sword before slashing and defeating the Heartless Soldier. He and Fox jumps out the window of Hotel Delfino at Sirena Beach.
Abby: OK then! Let's go!
The group nods before going to fight against the Heartless and even they have to come out to Sirena Beach to fight against them.
Fox: We'll check the area! You guys go to Pinna Park!
Just as Fox instructed, the children with their partners nodded before going to Pinna Park where they face some of the Heartless, but they've managed to defeat them easily. They saw an island with an amusement park from the beach called Pinna Park.
Ila: How are we going to arrive there?
Rei: Let's use that cannon over there.
Rei points at a red-rounded cannon before the group enters it and they were launched to the island with the ferris wheel. However, they crashed onto the beach of Pinna Park.
Pomumon: Oww...! Next time, I should Digivolve to the Ultimate Level...!
The group recovers themselves from their dizziness before entering the amusement park where they faced several Soldiers, Shadows, and Air Soldiers Heartless.
*Stop Music*
Abby: OK, that should be the last of them.
Then a Guard Armor Heartless appears and was ready to fight against the Miura Cousins along with Abby and their Pokemon and Digimon.
Rei: OK, let's do this!
*Shrouding Dark Cloud - Kingdom Hearts*
Then the three of their Digimon starts to Digivolve.
Herissmon: Herissmon Digivolve to…FILMON!
Hackmon: Hackmon Digivolve to…BAOHACKMON!
Pomumon: Pomumon Digivolve to…PARASAURMON!
Filmon uses Crimson Slash which he emits red energy from his claws to slash the Guard Armor, followed by Baohackmon who uses Fif Cross to slash with his claws, while Parasaurmon uses Wavy Octavist which she emits a sonic wave-like attack. Shiny Sobble uses Chilling Water, Shiny Fennekin uses Fire Spin, while Polteageist uses Energy Ball to throw a green energy ball. Rei summons Remote Bombs and hits them with his Keyblade like a baseball, Ila casts Meteor Shower to rain down meteors made of energy, while Abby uses Strike Raid to throw her Keyblade at the Heartless. The Guard Armor fell to the ground.
*Stop Music*
Filmon: Is it over?
Suddenly, the Guard Armor got up. It flips upside down, it's arms are now the feet, it's feet are now hands, and it's helmet opens up, revealing it's eyes. Now it became the Opposite Armor.
*Destiny's Force - Kingdom Hearts*
Ila: Uh-oh…
S. Fennekin:(Scared)Fen...!
S. Sobble:(Scared)Sob...!
Rei: We have to keep fighting.
However, the Miura Cousins along with Abby and their Pokemon and Digimon are being overpowered by the Opposite Armor who attacks by spinning it's body, stomping it's feet to the ground, and even forming a cannon firing a beam which hits everyone. Before it could launch another attack...
?: Fire!
A fireball hits the Opposite Armor and the gang turns to see a man wearing red and blue plumber clothes and a red cap. The plumber pulls out his Keyblade with a silver blade and golden handle. It's called the Kingdom Key, but it has a mushroom as a Keychain.
Man: Let's-a go!
The gang nods before turning to see their Digimon partners.
Rei: Come on! Time for the next level!
The children pulls out their Digivices.
Filmon: Filmon Digivolve to...STEFILMON!
Filmon Digivolves into a bigger version of himself with bigger spikes.
Baohackmon: Baohackmon Digivolve to...SAVIORHACKMON!
Baohackmon Digivolves into a bigger version of himself.
Parasaurmon: Parasaurmon Digivolve to...TOROPIAMON!
Parasaurmon Digivolves into a bigger version of herself with a flower around her neck and palm-like wings.
Rei: Now it's my turn!
Then Rei glows and changes his clothes, now wearing a purple sleeveless shirt, dark blue shorts, and bluish-purple special gloves. Rei is now in his Steadfast Form.
Man: Whoa...!
Stefilmon: Let's end this together!
The other two Digimon nods. Then Saviorhackmon uses Meteor Flame to shoot fireballs like a gatling gun, Toropiamon uses Petal Carnage to fire explosive pollen, while Stefilmon uses Vermillion Vortex to fire a crimson energy tornado. The Opposite Armor attacks, but Rei dodges by performing lateral cartwheels before performing multiple knee strikes, delivering multiple kicks, and launching an Instant Mega Force Blast, firing a powerful energy sphere from his hands. Shiny Sobble uses Hydro Pump to fire a more powerful Water Gun, Shiny Fennekin uses Overheat to fire a more powerful Flamethrower, while Polteageist uses Leaf Storm to summon a powerful wave of leaves. All of the attacks defeated the Opposite Armor.
*Stop Music*
The Heartless starts to shake until a glowing heart appears before disappearing along with the Heartless. The three Digimon and Rei reverts back to their regular forms. Rei's group turns to the plumber.
Man: I finally find you. Now what are your names?
Rei: My name is Rei. And they are Herissmon and Sobble.
Herissmon: Hi there.
S. Sobble: Sobble.
Ila: I'm Rei's twin sister, Ila. And they are Hackmon and Fennekin.
Hackmon: Hello.
S. Fennekin: Fennekin.
Abby: My name is Abby. And they are Pomumon and Polteageist.
Pomumon: Hi there.
Polteageist: Polteageist.
Rei: So, are you...Mario?
Man: Yes. It's-a me, Mario. Now what are you doing here?
Ila: Rosalina was the one who sent us to find you.
Mario: I see. Looks-a like we know someone in common.
Suddenly, Link with Navi and Fox arrives.
Abby: I'm glad you three you did it.
Fox: Yes. The enemies were defeated.
Mario: You know, you three remind me of Aqua, Ventus, and Terra.
Rei: Who are those three people?
Navi: We met them before and they have Keyblades.
Link: Aqua was the one who helped me to defeat Ganon.
Fox: Me and my team met them too. It was ten years ago.
Mario: I think it is-a coincidence about meeting old allies.
Abby: Well, now that the Heartless were defeated here, we must go back to the Comet Observatory.
Rei and Ila nods.
Mario: Then let's-a go.
Link: You guys go with them. We will stay here in case those enemies reappear.
Rei, Ila, Abby, and the newcomer Mario uses their Star Shards and teleports themselves and their Pokemon and Digimon back to the Comet Observatory. Meanwhile, back at Taisho Japan, Caleb's group was invited to stay with the woman who is named Kie Kamado, along with her daughter Nezuko and the siblings Takeo, Shigeru, Hanako, and Rokuta. All of them has managed to introduce themselves.
Luke: Thank you for your generosity.
Kie: No problem.
Shigeru: I hope our brother arrives here.
Hanako: Me too.
Caleb: I'm trying to wonder why Rokuta was asleep.
Nezuko: He still misses his father who passed away not long ago.
Takeo: Also, the hanafuda earrings were passed to our brother Tanjiro, just like each older sibling from our family each generation.
Nezuko: So where's your family?
Luke: Well, our parents passed away. I only have my three siblings, two cousins, my girlfriend, and Caleb's girlfriend with her little brother who also lost their parents.
Kie: I'm really sorry about that.
Caleb: Most of the time, Caeli stays close to me like Kibou with Aria.
Caeli: How was your father?
Kie: He was quiet, wise, and loving person. Even when he was ill, he still dances the Hinokami Kagura to celebrate the family's tradition.
Caleb: Hinokami Kagura...?
Caleb was trying to wonder, seemingly hearing those words before, but his thoughts were interrupted as they heard someone knocking on the door.
Kie: I'm coming.
Rokuta: I hope it is Tanjiro.
Just as Kie opens the door, it reveals to be Aria's group. However, the blue-haired girl was carrying Kibou in her arms, keeping her little brother warm as possible from the blizzard.
Caleb: Aria, Sara, Kibou.
Veemon: Also, Lunamon, Alcremie, Pulsemon, Celebi, Luxmon, and Pichu.
Kie: Oh my. It's cold outside. Come inside, please.
Aria: OK.
Then Aria's group enters.
Caleb:(Whispering)So, any luck with the keyhole?
Aria:(Whispering)Sorry, but no. We came as fast as we could.
Hanako: So what are your names?
After the introductions, they sat on the floor. Aria couldn't help but chuckle before ruffling Rokuta's hair.
Aria: You remind me alot like Kibou. Innocent and cute like my little brother.
Rokuta: Thank you.
Kie: Surely, you must be hungry. I'll come to the kitchen.
Aria: Please let me help you, Mrs. Kamado.
Then she came to help Kie for the dinner which were onigiris which have a great taste.
Caleb: I'm trying to wonder who is Tanjiro?
Nezuko: He is the oldest brother of the family.
Sara: So what is Tanjiro doing?
Takeo: He came to sell coal to the people.
Shigeru: So what about you guys?
Caleb: We're just traveling and taking care of each other.
Luke: Luckily, I'm the oldest member of the group and it is my job to protect them.
Shigeru: I hope Tanjiro is back.
Later after the dinner, the siblings and the group were sleeping. Suddenly, Caleb felt a strong presence of darkness coming close.
*Hesitation - Kingdom Hearts II*
Caleb: Someone is coming. And he doesn't have good intentions. Whatever happens, don't open the door.
Takeo: What?
Caleb felt that dark presence getting closer. He was getting tense as he watches Rokuta, Kibou, and Caeli, clearly the three being younger children. He couldn't let anything bad happen to them. Then he summons his Keyblade and uses Flowmotion which he came at lightspeed and bursts through the door and slashes the person who was getting closer.
Rokuta: How did he do that?
Luke: We have the ability to feel dark presences.
Caleb saw the man who is dressed like Michael Jackson, his skin is white, he has black hair, and red eyes. Then Caleb notices the sharpened claws and the form of the eyes.
Caleb: You're a demon...!
Demon: King of the Demons, child.
Caleb gasps in shock as he recognizes the demon.
Caleb: Muzan Kibutsuji...! But you died...!
Muzan: Very clever in identifying me, Caleb. But I didn't die. My last cells managed to escape and I regenerated and stayed hidden for many years. However, I have unfinished business with that family.
Caleb defends the Kamado Family.
Caleb: What do you mean? They are just coal sellers!
Muzan: Many years passed and you are blind to see it or remember it. They pretend to be coal sellers when in reality, they are wielders of the Sun Breathing, a last trace of Yoriichi's bloodline which must be erased forever.
Caleb: They are children! Not one of them could be Sun Breathing Wielders!
Muzan: Children yes. But they will grow up and I won't allow it!
Caleb narrows his eyes
Caleb: Over my dead body!
*Stop Music*
Then he prepares his D-Ark and Veemon starts to Digivolve while Shiny Mew appears.
Veemon: Veemon Matrix Digivolve to...MAGNAMON X!
Veemon Digivolves into a bigger version of himself wearing golden armor. Then Luke joins Caleb.
Luke: I'll follow you!
Then Dracomon starts to Digivolve too.
Dracomon: Dracomon Warp Digivolve to...WINGDRAMON!
Dracomon Digivolves into a bigger version of Coredramon. The two Digimon are facing the King of the Demons.
Muzan: Do you think your two pets can stop me? Then try it if you can!
Caleb turns to his girlfriend and sister.
Caleb:(Whispering)Aria, Sara, you two take the family along with Caeli and Kibou faraway from Muzan while we'll fight him.
Aria:(Whispering)OK.
*Nothing to Lose - Castlevania: Harmony of Despair*
In the blink of an eye, Muzan dashes at highspeed, but Caleb did the same with his Flowmotion and clashes his Keyblade against the claws of Muzan, but then he performs Aerial Slam which hits the King of the Demons two times. Before he could attack, he performs Quick Blitz, followed by Shiny Mew using Psychic to telekinetically hold Muzan in the air, Magnamon X using Magna Blast to fire plasma balls, Wingdramon using Blaze Sonic Breath to breathe a stream of fire, Shiny Absol using Dark Pulse, and Luke performing Stun Edge, Zantetsuken, and Aerial Sweep. While Caleb and Luke were fighting against Muzan, Sara and Aria were watching the Kamado Family.
Sara:(Whispering)Hurry up! We have to escape!
Then they assisted the family to escape from Muzan who uses his claws, but to clash with brace armor of Magnamon X who uses Magna Punch and Magna Kick. Then Caleb performs Slapshot, following with Sliding Dash, and casting Triple Plasma, while Shiny Mew and Shiny Absol uses Psycho Cut to fire psychic energy cutters. Luke then uses Blizzard Edge and follows with Fire Raid with both attacks hitting Muzan who then was then hit by Wingdramon using Exploding Sonic Breath to strike the King of the Demons with his back lance, but then Muzan performs a 360 degree kick with bloody energy which hits them all and grabs Caleb by the throat before pinning him into the snow.
Muzan: A feeble effort! A child like you cannot defeat me in battle!
But then he turns to Kamado House which is empty, meaning that the family escaped and he glares at Caleb.
Muzan: Very clever, but they won't escape from me...!
Suddenly, Shiny Mew fires an Ice Beam which froze Muzan's left arm and allows Caleb to break it, but then Muzan dashes towards the family as his left arm slowly regenerates. The family was running, but then Rokuta and Caeli trips in the snow.
Sara: Caeli!
Hanako: Rokuta!
Muzan appears and tried to claw directly at Rokuta until Nezuko got in his way and got clawed in the scruff and at the same time, untying her hair.
Rokuta:(Crying)Sister!
Kibou:(Crying)Sister...!
Aria:(Worryingly)Don't look, Kibou!
Muzan: A small obstacle, but it won't prevent me from reaching my goals...!
Floramon: Look out!
Then Floramon starts to Digivolve.
Floramon: Floramon Digivolve to...KIWIMON!
Kiwimon then uses Pummel Peck to fire egg bombs while Shiny Popplio uses Ice Beam, Luxmon uses Tiny Knuckle, and Shiny Pichu uses Disarming Voice with the four attacks hitting Muzan who then lunges again, but Magnamon X uses Aura Barrier to summon a barrier of light around the whole family. Then Caleb performs Meteor Shower Shotlock to fire multiple stars while Luke performs Flame Salvo to shoot multiple fireballs with both attacks hitting Muzan.
Luke: Now you will see what happens when you mess with a family!
Then in a flash, Luke gains a blue ninja suit as an outfit and even forms a sword made of ice in his left hand, the Cryo Ninja Form.
Muzan: Your magic is no match against my skills!
Muzan disappears before reappearing, but Luke quickly creates an ice clone of himself which froze Muzan as he punches the clone. Then Luke follows by performing an Ice Slide Attack, then follows by performing several slashes against Muzan, then uses Blizzard Edge and Blizzard Raid. Then before the King of the Demons could attack again, he watches the sunrise coming close.
Muzan:(Growling)The sun...!
Caleb: It's too late!
Then Caleb performs Meteor Crash which he hits Muzan with his Keyblade and a barrage of meteors. Muzan was then forced to flee.
Muzan: Maybe you have won this battle, but there are still more demons outside there, hunting more humans.
*Stop Music*
He then disappears. Then Luke and the Digimon reverts to their regular forms while Nezuko is unconscious.
Rokuta:(Crying)Sister...!
Caeli:(Crying)Is she...?
Caleb: She is unconscious.
Suddenly, they hear someone walking in the snow and the group turns to see a teen who has a characteristic haori of black and green squares.
Hanako: It's Tanjiro.
Tanjiro: I could smell blood. What happened? Who are you all?
Caleb: It's a long story.
After hearing the introductions and the explanations.
Tanjiro: I see. Thank you all for protecting my family.
Luke: No problem.
Sara: We already lost our family before. We couldn't let the same thing happen to them.
Tanjiro: I understand. So the demons are real.
Caleb: If you had arrived in time, you would already be dead with your family. Especially without proper training.
Tanjiro gasps quietly with fear, but nods. Knowing that Caleb's words are true, since Caleb's group had more experience with the Keyblade, they had chances to protect the family. Then Tanjiro checks the unconscious Nezuko and felt her forehead warm with his right hand.
Tanjiro: She is alive yet. We must bring her quickly to the hospital.
The whole group nods and then Tanjiro brings Nezuko on his back while the group follows him. But then as they were walking, Nezuko slowly wakes up, but her eyes were different and manifested fangs in her teeth.
Nezuko:(Snarling)
Tanjiro: Nezuko...?
Nezuko lunges at Tanjiro who does his best to hold his sister who is suddenly attacking him.
All:(Shocked)Nezuko!
Tanjiro's siblings were very confused and scared as they were very close to their mother while Tanjiro uses his axe to hold Nezuko back from biting him.
Tanjiro: Nezuko, stop it! I'm your brother, Tanjiro! Stop attacking me and my family! You're my sister! Please remember!
Despite his words, Nezuko kept growling and still trying to attack him, but then Caeli was getting overwhelmed with the events.
Caeli: No! Stop it! THAT'S ENOUGH!
Just as she yelled, her crest started to glow which made Nezuko stop attacking Tanjiro as she remembered memories from her past.
*Destiny's Union - Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep*
Then Nezuko starts to stream tears from her eyes and was sobbing.
Tanjiro: Nezuko...!
Nezuko manages to get off from above of her brother, still sobbing while the family approaches the two siblings.
Rokuta: Sister is not hurt?
Nezuko gave a smile through her tears and pats Rokuta's head, causing the toddler to smile. However, as the family gathers, they gathered in a hug while crying softly. At the same time, Caleb's group couldn't help but watch the scene with tears in their eyes and after passing 10 minutes, they calmed down. After that, Tanjiro and Nezuko departs towards Mount Sagiri while Caleb's group stays with the Kamado Family.
*Stop Music*
Then the Keyhole appears above Tanjiro's House and Caleb uses his Keyblade to fire a beam to seal it.
Shigeru: What was that?
Luke: Long story, but it's time to move!
Sara: OK. It's time for us to return to the Comet Observatory.
Caleb: We might as well bring the Kamado Family with us, since their home is no longer safe.
The Aether Team concentrates magic from their Star Shards and then a sphere of magic surrounds the family and the group and in a flash, they disappeared to return back to the Comet Observatory. A family was saved in this world along with sealing the Keyhole to protect this world from the Heartless and at the same time, two siblings embarked in a journey to defeat evil demons with the brother having determination to find a cure to turn his sister back to human.
