Chapter 7: Telling the Legends and Barry's and Diggle's mission's
As the Legends looked at the hologram Oliver in shock.
"Hello Legends, it has been a long time sense we last saw each other and you all must be wondering why I'm sending you a message from Earth 38 but by the end of this message all of your questions will be answered to the best of my ability. But let me start with what you have missed sense we last saw each other then I can finish by tell you all why I'm on Earth 38.
Few month ago reality was changed by a crazy doctor by the name of John Deegan and an Cosmic entity by the name Mar Novu or better known as The Monitor so Barry and Kara and myself went up against John Deegan and The Monitor and to make reality go back to how it was but as we came to the final battle I alone went to confront The Monitor in hope's of changing Barry's and Kara's destiny of dying in the final battle with John Deegan.
Then The Monitor told me that he was preparing us all for a threat from deep space by the name of Darkseid I can't tell you much of anything but I do know that he is a being of immense power and he is a king of a planet named Apokolips and has a large army by his own creation named Parademons.
Then The Monitor task me to form a special team of seven heroes to fight Darkseid and whatever else arises.
Then The Monitor gave me hints on how to find four of the seven heroes the hints are a man with a cape and cowl and woman with sword and shield and a man with a glowing ring and a man of the sea then the other three are Barry, Kara's cousin Clark or better known as Superman and myself.
That's also why I'm on Earth 38 because I believe the man with the cape and cowl is here on Earth 38 and we already know that Superman is here so I can recruit both of them for the special team.
So I'll end the message here but if any of you have any more questions about what I just told you I'll be back on Earth 1 in a couple weeks so you could ask me anything so goodbye Legends
P.S. your all involved to the reopening of the Queen Mansion."
As the hologram of Oliver disappeared ending the message every Legend was to shocked to say anything in tell Ray then said what was on everyone's mind "we need to go back and help this special team against Darkseid and his army of Parademons."
"I agree with you on that Ray" said Sara as she was looking at Zari with a knowing look.
"OK then what should we do now that we all decided to help the special team" said Nate.
"I think we should go back to Star City and wait for Oliver to come back from Earth 38 but in the meantime we can work with Team Arrow and Team Flash" said Sara.
"Then Captain Lance do you want me to set a course back to Star City 2019" said Gideon.
"Not yet let's finish this mission that we'll on now then I will tell Ava and the Time Bureau that we will be stopping the time traveling for couple months" said Sara.
As everyone said OK and started to leave but Zari decided to stay back with Sara then said "that part of the message talking about the woman with a sword and shield that sounds a lot like Themyscira where we took Helen."
"Your right I had the same thought but did it disappear shortly after the Trojan War" said a curious Sara.
Sara and Zari were both wondering if Oliver was really looking for someone on Themyscira.
Present day
Back in Central City Barry Allen A.K.A The Flash was just about to start his day when he got Oliver's message and the mission that came with it. As Barry, Iris, and Nora was having breakfast Barry's phone went off Iris then said "who could that be."
Barry was looking down at his phone reading the message then said "it's from Oliver he wants me to meet a Marine Biologist who believes in the Ancient City of Atlantis and has proof that the city is real."
"Then that means Gideon must of found some information on the man with a trident then" said Nora with a smile.
"Yep it does sound like that so I think I will go to Star Labs then I can start researching this Marine Biologist" said Barry as he finished his breakfast.
"Well be careful and good luck on the research" said Iris as Barry gave her a kiss on the lips before Barry sped out of the door.
As Barry entered Star Lab's Cisco and Ralph was looking at the computer Barry then said "good morning you two."
They both looked up then said "morning" then they went back to looking at the computer.
As Barry went to an open computer and logged on he looked up at Cisco and Ralph then said "what are you guys looking at anyways."
"Well we are testing a new listening device Cisco made" said Ralph.
"Really how are they working" said Barry with a smile.
"They are working really well and I also designed them for Team Flash and Team Arrow" said Cisco as he showed Barry the two custom designed listening device.
As Barry was looking at the small thunderbolt and the small arrowhead listening device's.
Ralph looked at Barry then said "what are you doing here so early anyways."
"Well Oliver actually sent me a message about a Marine Biologist that might be connected to one of the heroes Oliver is looking for. So Oliver wants me to read the article that this Marine Biologist wrote about the Ancient City of Atlantis being real" said Barry.
Both Ralph and Cisco had shocked looks on their faces. Then Caitlin walked into the room then said "so who is this Marine Biologist."
"His name is Stephen Shin PhD in Marine Biology" said Barry.
"I remember reading an article about Dr. Shin few months ago but it wasn't about the Ancient City of Atlantis" said Caitlin.
"Then what was the article talking about" said Barry with a curious look.
"It was talking about how a lot of the science community are calling Dr. Shin's work is trash and unbelievable" said Caitlin with a frown.
Ralph and Cisco looked shocked but Barry then said "I think I need to meet this Stephen Shin then I can report everything to Oliver about this meeting but I have to speed read this article Oliver sent me first."
"Well then maybe I can come with you and help you out" said Caitlin with a smile.
Barry looked shocked then said "really I thought you would want to stay here."
"I think after the last mission the team should take a break for a little bit then I can come with you" said Caitlin.
Barry and Cisco and Ralph all put their heads down when Caitlin finished talking that last mission still weighed heavy on Team Flash's mind just 4 days after a new crazy metahuman attack the city.
"Well I guess I can breach you guys when your ready to go meet with Dr. Shin but anyway where is this PhD guy anyway" said Cisco.
"Well it says that his lab is on the Coast Of Maine so I think that where we can find him" said Barry as he got up from the chair and looked at Cisco and Caitlin.
"Before I open the breach let me give you guys two of the new listening device's" said Cisco as he handed two small thunderbolt listening device's then he opened the breach for Barry and Caitlin.
"Well good luck you guys" said Ralph with a smile.
Cisco just nodded his good luck as Barry and Caitlin walked through the breach.
When both Barry and Caitlin walked out of the breach they were on a secluded beach and the ocean waves was extremely relaxing then Barry said "so do you know where the lab is at."
"Yep it's about a mile up the beach and it's on a cliff overlooking the beach and ocean" said Caitlin with a smile.
Barry nodded his thanks then they started the hike up the beach then the cliff. As they got up the cliff they both could see the lab when they got to the door Caitlin then knocked on the steel door then said "Dr. Shin" but there no answer then Caitlin knocked again then they heard a voice say "I'm coming I'm coming just give me a second."
As they both heard the locks being unlocked then the metal door being opened a little bit. Barry could tell that the man that opened the door is the Marine Biologist that they are trying to find but before Barry or Caitlin could ask. The man interrupted both of them then said "yes yes what do you want."
"Well by any chance are you Marine Biologist Stephen Shin" said Caitlin with a smile.
The man looked at the two of them oddly for a minute then said "yes I'm Stephen Shin what can I do for you."
"Well my name is Barry Allen and this is Caitlin Snow we are from Central City Star Lab's and we were hoping to ask you about your article that is about the Ancient City of Atlantis being real" said Barry calmly.
Dr. Shin looked at Barry in shock then said "you must be joking nobody ever comes asking about Atlantis."
Both Barry and Caitlin looked at each other then Caitlin said "well we are both very curious about the proof that it mentions in the article."
Dr. Shin looked at Barry and Caitlin for a minute in silence then he opened the door fully then said "yes yes come in you both must be curious if you came is far from Central City."
They both gave their thanks and then walked into the lab they both saw the giant fish tank in the middle of the lab when they walked in then Barry said "that's one big fish tank, you must be a big fan of the ocean?"
Dr. Shin looked at Barry then said "the ocean is my life and my career I have loved it sense I was a young child on the beaches of Japan which gave birth to the theory of Atlantis being real and possibly people from this Ancient City coming to the land to live among us."
Barry and Caitlin was both silent from what
Dr. Shin just said so they continued on to Dr. Shin office then Dr. Shin said "you two can wait in here so I'll bring the proof that you both came to see."
Now that Barry and Caitlin were alone they looked at each other then Barry said "so what do you think about Dr. Shin?"
"I think Dr. Shin is very passionate about his life's work but he is also kind of creepy and a little paranoid" said Caitlin.
"I agree, now it's time to found out about what
Dr. Shin is hiding" said Barry.
"Here take the listening device's Cisco gave us to use" said Caitlin as she handed 2 of the little lightning bolts to Barry.
As Barry took them from Caitlin he also put his hand in his pocket to get another 2 that Cisco gave him then nodded to Caitlin then activated his speed making everything go slow then he started to move around the office hiding one of the lightning bolt under Dr. Shin desk.
Then he went to the bookshelf and grabbed a book that looks unused then hid one behind the unused book.
Then he vibrated his body and sped though the wall separating the lab and the office that's where Dr. Shin was frozen just about to open the door so he hid two more in the lab both of the listening device's were facing the giant fish tank.
He then sped though the wall again to the office and sat on the chair he just left a second ago and stopping his speed just as Dr. Shin opened the door holding a briefcase.
Dr. Shin then walked to his chair then put the briefcase on his desk then said "so this is the proof you both came to see but are you sure you want to see it."
Barry and Caitlin looked at each other then they both said "Yes."
Then Dr. Shin nodded then opened up the briefcase revealing a red and yellow weapon of some kind then Barry said "what is it exactly."
"Well it is a Coral Dagger I think the people of Atlantis use it to cut seaweed and other things" said Dr. Shin with a smile.
Both Barry and Caitlin was looking at the Coral Dagger then Caitlin said "where did you find this Coral Dagger?"
"Well I was walking on the beach just outside a few years ago and I found it was just laying there in the water" said Dr. Shin.
Barry then looked up from the Dagger then said
"by any chance could I take a couple photos so I could show my friend that was also curious about the article and the proof."
Dr. Shin looked at Barry and Caitlin then nodded then said "yes yes of course please do."
Barry smiled then took about 5 photos with his phone so he could show Oliver when he got back from Earth 38.
Then Caitlin said "Thank you for show us the Coral Dagger and telling us about your life's work but now I think we should leave so you could get back to work."
Dr. Shin smiled at Barry and Caitlin then said "your very welcome."
So Barry and Caitlin got up and shook Dr. Shin's hand and said their goodbyes then left the office and the lab then started walking the path to the beach then they called Cisco to open a breach to go back to Central City.
Early Morning in Star City
John Diggle has just woken up, then he decided to go for a run around the block when he returned home he was met with the smell of eggs and bacon and toast with a smile now on his face he walked into the kitchen to see his wife Lyla cooking and his son JJ waiting for his breakfast at the table.
Lyla saw Diggle first then said "well there's dad."
JJ then got off his chair to hug Diggle then said "good morning dad."
Diggle smiled then said "good morning to you."
Then he walked over to Lyla and was about to give a hug and kiss to her but was stopped by Lyla.
Lyla then said "you can give me a hug and kiss after you take shower."
Diggle then walked into his room to take a quick shower then Diggle checked his cell phone then found the text from Oliver reach said "Hello John everything is fine on Earth 38 but I need you to find any information on the the photo I sent you if you find anything tell me when I return from Earth 38. PS Good luck."
As Diggle looked at photo Oliver send he could see the same thing Oliver saw which was a man that was covered in a green glow but he couldn't see the face of the man.
As Diggle walked out of the bedroom then sat at the table Lyla then said with a loving smile "so what are your plans for today John."
Diggle then looked up from his breakfast then said "I think I'll go check up on the building crew at the Queen Mansion with Thea then maybe do some research Oliver want me to do then maybe go on patrol with Team."
Lyla then looked suspicious then said "research what does Oliver want you to search for now."
Diggle then laid his phone on the table to show Lyla the photo Oliver sent then said "Oliver wants me to find any information about this photo."
Lyla then looked down at the phone with great shock then said "can you make your trip to Queen Mansion short then come to A.R.G.U.S and maybe tell the Team that you might be late for patrol."
Diggle looked shocked then said "why does A.R.G.U.S know something about this glowing man."
Lyla then nodded and said "for several months now this man has been on A.R.G.U.S's radar" before Diggle could respond Lyla then got up from the table then kissed Diggle on the lips then said "come on JJ I'll take you to school and my assistant will pick you up and bring to mom's work" then looked at Diggle then said "come meet me for lunch then we could finish this conversation."
Diggle could tell that this conversation has became serious so he just nodded and watched Lyla and JJ walk out of the house with a quick goodbye. After ten minutes Diggle then got his car keys then left the house to start his day as Diggle got in his car he texted Felicity that he going to be later for patrol that night. Then he started his long drive to the soon to be new Queens Mansion to meet with Thea and the builders.
When he arrived and the build site of Queens Mansion he could see Thea talking with the Construction Manager when Thea saw Diggle she excused herself from the manager then walked up to Diggle then said "the build crew found something last night after I left the site."
Diggle then said "what did the crew find is it something serious."
"no it's nothing serious but it's curious just follow me and I will show you what it is" said a smiling Thea.
As the both of them started walking in the woods that surrounds the mansion Thea was leading Diggle down the hill that the mansion was on then said "the crew found something under the old foundation as they were digging it out of ground what they found was a large cave system that has three entrances."
"A cave really, do you think Oliver knows about this cave" said a surprised Diggle.
"No I don't think so but I could be wrong because when we're kids Oliver would always go on walks and maybe he could of found it but never went in because the crew said that the cave was untouched by any human or animal when they went down the hole" said Thea.
As they both hiked down from the hill they saw a crew member come from a small crack in hill the crew member was shocked to see them then said "Miss Queen and Mr. Diggle, I wasn't expecting you two did you both want to see the cave."
Thea then smiled an said "yes i wanted to show Diggle the cave is it though that crack."
the crew member then said "yes" then handed both of them a safety helmets then said "just be careful some of the rock are still loose sense we open it up."
Both Thea and Diggle gave there thanks then entered the cave for the first time the path the found in the cave had light's hanging from the roof of the path. The Path took them maybe five minutes to hear voice coming deeper into the cave then they final entered a large room with many construction crew members in the room. They both look at the cave in all then the Vice Construction Manager came up to them and said "Hello are you two Miss Queen and Mr. Diggle."
Thea then said "yes Thea Queen I'm Oliver Queens sister, and this is John Diggle my bother's best friend, and you are i don't remember meet you."
the Vice Construction Manager smiled then said "your right you haven't meet me yet my name is John Henry Irons and I'm the Vice Construction Manager."
Diggle the said "why are here in the cave right now."
John said "because I'm not just the Vice Construction Manager I'm an expert steel worker and this cave needs a lot of work to make it into a base of operations for The Green Arrow." with a smile
Both Diggle and Thea looked shocked for a minute then Thea then said "um I don't know if Oliver would like a new base of operations and all the money he put in to the rebuild of the Queen Mansion don't add to caves."
John smiled then said "no need to worry Miss Queen the whole crew is paying for the cave out of pocket lets call it a thank you for The Green Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl saving use all a few years back on a job sit, I don't even know if Mr. Queen knows he hired but ya it was use he and his super friend's saved that day."
Both Diggle and Thea were both shocked about this so they gave their thanks and left after the conversation they all had about the layout and future blueprints. It toke them another five minutes to get out of the cave and hike the hill again but before Diggle could get in to his car Thea stopped him then said "hey before I let you go i wanted to let you now that Roy and myself will leave Star City for a few days so i wanted to ask if you and Lyla can watch William for use."
Diggle then said "I'll have to talk to Lyla but why the sudden trip."
Thea smiled then said "why well Oliver is founding the heroes and creating the Team he could use much needed back up so William and Roy and myself has started looking though the Internet to find some other Superhero's."
Diggle looked shocked then said "really did you guys found another Hero"
Thea said with a smile "yes we so far found about ten other Hero's."
Diggle then looked shocked for a moment then said "okay then stay safe and I'll talk to Lyla and about William staying with use for a few days."
Thea smiled then said "thank you." Then she walked away so Diggle got in to his car to start his drive to A.R.G.U.S as he was driving he thought back to the the start of the journey that he enter into when he meet Oliver Queen when it started it was to save a dying city from evil people but now it was to save the whole world it brought a smile to his face a little as he entered the parking lot of A.R.G.U.S.
As Diggle walked into A.R.G.U.S Lyla's assistant was waiting for him then said " Mrs. Michaels is in the classified war room waiting for you Mr. Diggle I'll give this keycard to you so you can get in to the room." As she handed the keycard over Diggle gave a smile and a nod back then started to walk to the war room. Diggle then entered the war room to find Lyla at the head of the long table then said "hey hon why are we meeting in the classified war room."
Lyla then smiled and said "come set down this conversation will take some time to get though."
Diggle seeing that this talk has got serious just sat down next his wife so Lyla look at her husband very serious then said " I've been give permission by the CIA and The President to tell you about the glowing man and the picture Oliver sent you this morning do you understand what I just said."
With shock on his face Diggle said "yes."
"Before will get to the origins of the photo I have to tell you about the alien that crashed landed on the beach of Coast City a month into Oliver's fourth year on the island Lain Yu the alien was dead on landing but what we learned from the ship and his body was that he was a soldier or police of some kind. We don't know where he got injured but he had a hole in his stomach and his body color was red and was muscular. So about a week after finding the alien a Air Force test pilot who is named Carol Ferris was save by a green glow after a test flight gone wrong." Lyla then paused for a few seconds to get a drink of water then said "Amanda Waller who was the Director of A.R.G.U.S back then was ordered to keep an eye on Coast City and went to spoke with Ms. Ferris at the Hospital all Ms. Ferris remember is a glowing man with a green mask over his glowing green eyes and then a few weeks after that wrong test flight and the visit to the Hospital our A.R.G.U.S satellite picked up a glowing green blur launching into space."
Lyla then paused again then showed Diggle the A.R.G.U.S satellite photo then Diggle looked at the photo then said " it's the the same kind of glow that Oliver's photo has."
Lyla then nodded yes then said "yes it's the same glow because it's the same person back then."
Diggle stayed silent so Lyla continued then said "now you know the origins of the glowing man it's time I tell you about the photo Oliver send you this morning about a year ago this same glow flashed the A.R.G.U.S satellite it was the same man coming home to Coast City he stayed quiet for a few weeks but then he attacked a Air Force Base."
Lyla then took a drink of water "why did he attack Air Force Base" said Diggle with great shock on his face.
After taking a drink of water Lyla looked at her husband then said "because the Air Force has created weapons that harness Dark matter that can and will kill Meta-Humans."
Diggle looked at his wife with extreme shock then said only one word "really."
Lyla nodded then said "yes I have known about the these weapons for about three months after this photo was taken by funny enough Oliver's ex Girlfriend Susan Williams at a Ferris Aircraft fundraiser Susan got the only the close photo of the glowing man yet."
Diggle laughed then said "well that going to be a fun reunion between Oliver and Susan but why is A.R.G.U.S a part of these Dark matter experiments."
Lyla laughed to then said "yes that's going to be an awkward conversation between those two, but the reason A.R.G.U.S is a part of the Dark matter experiments I can't tell you anything of that just yet I'm sorry but I can't."
Diggle with a smile to his wife then said "Thank You hon, I've got to meet up with the team for patrol tonight and I can email Oliver later see you later at home."
Diggle then gave a kiss to Lyla then walked to the door before stopping then said "before I forget Thea asked use if we could watch William for a few days soon."
Lyla smiled then said "we will be happy to have him over for a few days."
Diggle smiled then nodded and continued out of the war room.
Later after Patrol
Diggle walked out of the elevator with the team Diggle then said "good job tonight so get changed and head home and get some rest."
It only took the others a few minutes to get changed and say goodnight to ever one leaving just Diggle and Felicity.
Diggle then said "are going to head home soon Felicity."
Felicity gave Diggle a smile then said "I'll head home soon."
Diggle then said "Ok then goodnight see you tomorrow."
Felicity watched Diggle enter the elevator and left then pressed a button on her keyboard and all the green light turned off in the Bunker but the next moment red and purple lights turned on all over the Bunker then Felicity said "are you online Brother Eye."
The next moment an Eye came to her computer screen a voice said though the speakers "yes."

So I have finally came back to this story after all these years I'm sorry but I'm back
So on to the chapter I have added some fun little DC easter egg like the Arrow Cave or John Henry Irons A.K.A Steel
Now I have a question for all of you should I make a one shot book for all the hero's Thea and Roy will meet or should it wait tell Oliver gets home to talk about the mission to recruit more hero's
Now the hard truth on why it took me so long to upgrade and the truth is I full out of love with the Arrowverse and hero's for a few year but I have been slowly getting back into the shows and cartoons that help me create this FanFiction so I'm back for now
