{Justin/Achilles' Perspective}

Y'know, walking into Haven Academy and seeing it for myself and not being behind a screen certainly hits different. Seeing all of the intricate buildings and their presumed functions. And it's overall Asian inspiration. Though I notice a few extra details about the buildings, it probably has something to do with my mind thinking this is reality… even though I know it's more than likely not.

Overall, it's great to see it. But now is not the time to sightsee. As much as I want to.

Oh and seeing as whatever Oscar told the police about me, I was safe to not have to wear my modified White Fang mask.

Qrow was going over the plan while I was spacing out. When I came to, I heard the last little bit of what he said "- And keep your weapons stowed. Let me do the talking."

I nodded "Ok ok. I see what you're saying. But in the case that we do enter combat…?"

Qrow waved it off "If we pull this off, we may not need to worry about combat."

I chuckled "Qrow, no offense, but I doubt you can talk your way out of whatever is about to happen."

Qrow glared at me "And what could lead you to think like that? I'll have you know I am quite charismatic."

"When it suits you." I remarked. "Yang told me about that story of you and the tavern girl' the skirt length."

Ruby recoiled "Still gross."

Yang crossed her arms with a small chuckle slipping her lips.

I glanced over at Aaron who was making that look again. I told him I would tell them soon. Just not when we're about to enter a fight.

I know lying to them is wrong. But when I'm more respected in this life than I was on Earth, How am I supposed to go back and say "Oh hey I'm just some loser who worked in a grocery store and am not one of the last Vermilions." It doesn't exactly come up in conversation.

"First off, it was an inn. A tavern is what they used to call it, unless you're playing that game every nerd that can't hold an actual weapon is playing… What was it again?" He shook his head. "Nevermind we're getting off topic, So what's your idea then wise-guy?"

I shrugged "Simple, depending on the numbers of those who may or may not ambush us. We group up on one opponent. When one goes down, the others will join in helping with the others. That way, no one will be on a one v one against someone."

Qrow rested his chin on his thumb and index finger "Not a bad idea. Except for one thing. If they have let's say 12 to our 11, what do we do then?"

"Get into a defensive position. Keep each other close enough that we can assist the other." I replied with a shrug.

Aaron raised an eyebrow "That's probably the first good-ish idea you've come up with."

"I studied battle strategies. It's not my fault that when I'm playing a hero shooter and everyone is off getting their "play of the game" and no one listens to my strategies." I retorted.

"That's the thing though, one of your best strategies involves something along the lines of: Did someone say machine gun?" he fired back. "How do I put faith in your plans when you barely put any thought in game plans?"

Qrow interjected "Enough you two. I think we've got a solid strategy. And not a moment too soon. Seems we're here."

So while we were conversing, we had apparently arrived at the main area of Haven. And this is where the fight will begin.

I took a deep breath in and cleared my mind. I've been more worried about my anger taking control of my actions. On Earth I've learned what I need to do to let it go. On Remnant, I don't know what it is here but it feels like my anger has exponentially increased. So I need to re-learn how to control my emotions again.

"Are you ok?" Weiss asked.

I gave her as genuine a smile as I could. "Yeah, just clearing the mind."

She didn't seem to buy it. Still can't put my finger on it. No time now.

We entered the hall. And there he was, the cowardly lion himself, Lionheart. I almost want to laugh at him.

Before I entered, I looked around to make sure no one else was looking in my general direction. I then did a quick drawing of a cross across my shoulders and from my head to my lower torso, asking God to give me strength.

Little did I know at the time that Weiss was watching me.

After that, I went inside with them.

"Welcome Qrow!" He greeted "And… others?"

Qrow answered. "Backup. And don't worry, they may be huntsmen and huntresses in training, but they can fight."

Lionheart seemed nervous. "Ah… I see." He placed his hands behind his back and focused. "And you brought your weapons?"

"We're hunters my guy. When wouldn't we bring our weapons?" I asked in a rather sassy pose, with a hand resting on my sheathe with the other in the air with the palm facing upward.

Lionheart nervously laughed "Of course, of course. Silly me."

I glanced around the room in search of Raven. I moved my right hand onto Kronos. And with an audible click, I disabled the safety.

At the same time, a raven swooped in front of my vision. Which I reacted by pulling Kronos out of its holster and aiming at the flying bird as it swooped behind Lionheart and transformed into the mother of the year: Raven.

As I kept my gun leveled at her as I glanced over at Yang for a moment just to see how she was. As I expected her facial expression was one of wide eyed anger.

I heard Raven jump down as I refocused my attention back to her. Leveling Kronos at her once again.

Raven raised an amused eyebrow at me "You're a bold one there Vermillion."

I shrugged with my opposite shoulder "You're a leader of a bandit tribe. I have to have some insurance."

Qrow growled at me "Lower your gun Achilles."

"Said the man leveling his sword at his sister." I retorted.

"This is different. You don't need to get involved with our "family bonding." Qrow warned. "It's best you holster your weapon."

"And run the risk of her charging me and stomping on my chest? No thank you." I replied.

"Though you would like that." Aaron muttered.

I darted my eyes over to him and hissed "Shut your mouth."

He shrugged "Am I wrong?"

Raven cleared her throat. "If you're all finished talking amongst yourselves. I think it's time we got down to business."

Qrow turned back to Raven "Yes, I was about to say the same. What are YOU doing here anyway?"

She retorted, "I could ask you the same thing little bro."

It's almost like they rehearsed this.

"By a couple minutes." He retorted "Now answers."

She threw her left hand up in the air theatrically "You've been scheming little brother." She opened her monologue. "Planning to attack your own sister." She said with a theatrical tone of sadness. "So what am I to do but acquire some… 'help.'"

"What have you done Professor Lionheart?" I asked him as I unholstered Rhea and leveled it at him.

"He did what any sane person would do in his position. Perhaps you can relate, Vermilion." She answered for Lionheart, "He looked at all the information, assessed the situation." She then smirked "And made a choice."

"Yeah, the most cowardly possible." I remarked. Though I don't like the implication she apprised.

"Achilles…" Aaron warned.

Raven chuckled. "You Vermilions never know when to not stick your necks out do you?"

I cocked my head to one side "Mayhaps we don't. But it's better than siding with Salem."

Raven laughed "So you'd rather an endless war? She cannot be defeated."

I can't let them know that Salem's immortal yet… "You don't know that!" I retorted as I stepped out to the side.

Before Raven retorted, Lionheart interrupted with eyes widened "You told them about Salem?!" he bellowed to Qrow.

Qrow shrugged "They ain't pushovers, as you're soon about to find out."

Raven gave a smirk once again "Yeah… I suppose we will." Raven then stepped to the side and slashed open a crimson portal.

Once it appeared, Jocelyn came charging out with both her blades drawn and trying to cut me in a scissor-like cross attack.

I blocked it with my robotic arm and remarked "Ooh I love a fast woman."

She had a psychotic look on her face. Part of the theatrics she, Aaron and I practiced before this. She kept her blades locked on my arm.

Cinder and her crew stepped out with a theatric "Hello boys and girls."

I then said to Jocelyn "Unfortunately I will not be your opponent today." As I heard everyone unsheathe/draw their weapons.

I then rolled her blades off me and hip checked her towards Aaron. "He will be. I've got a bigger fish to fry."

I then turned to Cinder with a smirk and aimed both Kronos and Rhea at her.

She gave me an amused look "You wish to face me? That's cute."

I shrugged. "I always like to have a challenge."

Hazel then showed up behind us and locked the door. "The White Fang is prepping demolition charges and guarding the school grounds." He then turned to us "No one gets in, and no one gets out."

Qrow tightened his fists "Raven, just how long have you been a part of them?"

Cinder stepped forward. And for some reason she was wearing an expensive looking dress that was similar to volume 4's outfit, albeit without the large sleeve. Strange, I figured she would have willingly sacrificed her arm for more power. Then again Ruby never did that thing with the silver eyes… Huh.

Cinder taunted "Aww… don't fret little bird. Your sister was a recent addition. But Lionheart-"

"Was a part of the circle for a while longer. Long enough that you could fake your credentials to go to the VYTAL festival. yada yada." I started, rather bored, moving my right hand back and forth. Definitely a negligent handling for my pistols, but I felt like this would add emphasis.

Cinder placed a hand on her hip "And how did you deduce all of that from seemingly nothing?"

Because that's how it was written in the show proper. And I assumed it would be the same in my own little universe.

Though I decided to actually look into it with files and stuff just in case. "I had time to study the files of all the students of Mystal while I was trapped in the Schnee manor. Funny thing about being in a house of elites, they just hand you what you want when you say "I know Jacques Schnee." And they fold like a paper airplane."

Cinder raised an eyebrow in intrigue. Seems I've caught her attention.

I then leveled both Kronos and Rhea at Cinder once again. "And lo and behold, your name, as well as Emerald and the Merc with the bad breath over there were nowhere on those transcripts. Conveniently missing despite the fact you said you hailed from here." I let my smirk fade as I asked "That just leaves one question. A motive. What could make you want to commit such a crime on a scale as the Battle of Beacon."

Mercury checked his breath interim with my monologue.

"That's what you were doing in your room?" Weiss asked "And here I thought it was something else."

I gave Weiss a glare. "As if I'd be so crass."

Cinder laughed "Wow, you really do your homework don't you?" She then sighed "But my motives are pointless. You wouldn't understand even if I told you." She then turned her attention to Pyrrha "Besides, you still hold something I want. And I don't intend to let you slip away again."

She then summoned a falchion styled weapon as she charged at Pyrrha, I intercepted and kicked her off her course.

She skidded on her feet as she looked up at me with a look of annoyance.

I holstered both of my pistols since I knew ranged combat would be pointless, due to her being able to melt bullets. Instead I drew my sword slowly as I told her "If you want her, you'll have to get through me first quarter maiden."

"I'd say she's more like a 2/100th's of a maiden." Aaron added.

I let a quick breath out of my nose before regaining my composure. "What he said."

She readied herself with a smirk "Alright, if you want to die so bad, so be it." She then charged at me. "I will oblige you."

{Aaron's perspective}

The fight started. Jocelyn charged me so I handed her off to Pyrrha with a small smirk.

Weiss, Yang and I went after Vernal.

Oscar said he'd deal with Lionheart himself. Which I was not about to argue.

Hazel was faced off against Ren and Nora.

Jaune and Ruby were facing Emerald and Mercury. With Ruby trying to talk Emerald out of fighting.

It warms my heart to see her being the ray of sunshine she is.

I then focused my attention on Vernal. She scanned all of us and taunted "The Heiress, a bimbo, and a wannabe."

"Yeah, and I wannabe slamming my fists across your face." Yang retorted as she slammed her fists together.

I sucked in air and shook my head "Yang… why?"

She shrugged at me. "Why not?"

Weiss rolled her eyes "You get used to it." She deadpanned.

"Has Achilles used that phrase?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Of course he would steal my lines." I deadpanned.

Vernal started with firing the beam that came out of her chakra/energy gun at me which I dodged and closed the distance towards her.

She was definitely no push over when she dodged one of my punches and tried to punish by swinging the blade part of her weapon at Aaron.

He blocked it with the metal part of his gauntlet then slammed his fist across her face.

I noticed Justin was struggling and asked if he needed an assist.

He declined and Cinder noticed me.

What she said and what I did I don't really care to describe since it would be redundant with what Justin is going to write. So I will say that she deserved 100% of the sass I gave her.

She stumbled back which allowed me enough time to get a three hit combo in.

Which was followed by Yang slamming her fist across Vernal's face.

Weiss' Arma Gigis swung a fist at Vernal.

Vernal jumped on the arm of the Arma Gigs and slashed at its throat, dissipating it.

She charged at Weiss, but Yang and I shut that shit down by punching her face at the same time.

She did a backflip and growled. She then used her beam attack on me and Yang, limiting our ability to fight back since we're blocking these energy beams.

I then called out "Weiss, remember what we practiced?"

She asked. "Is now the time to test that?"

I nodded "I think it would be a good idea."

I heard her stab the ground and her summoning glyph appeared underneath me. But rather than have the Ama Gigis come through, she attached the armor to me. And I did feel a lot stronger because of it. To a point I managed to overcome the beam and walk slowly towards Vernal. And knocked her weapon out of her left hand. Then hit her in the gut to send her into a wall.

The armor sadly faded after that.

I turned back to see Weiss taking a knee.

"You Good?" I asked.

Weiss nodded with a thumbs up.

I turned back to Vernal just as she stood up, I then heard Justin scream bloody murder. So I turned around to see what was happening.

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

Cinder's just playing with me. She has barely tried to attack me. A lot of our fight is waiting for the other to attack.

Cinder taunted "You talked a big game, and yet you've not landed a blow on me."

I chuckled, "Same could be said to you."

She gave me an amused smirk. She then rushed at me and slashed at me with a flurry of attacks.

I jumped back to dodge her first and parried the second and the third. Upon the fourth attack I countered and managed to get one hit in.

She's testing my defenses, looking for an opening… One I don't intend to give.

She seemed impressed. "Took you long enough." She then rushed towards me in a flurry of attacks once again.

Parrying two one hit me with the back of her blade. She then kicked me which made me skid backwards.

"You seem to be struggling there Achilles!" Aaron yelled.

"I'm fine Aaron!" I yelled back as I charged back into my fight.

Cinder locked blades as she looked over at Aaron and made an amused chuckle "Ferret king. Good to see you again!"

Aaron glared "You too, though I'd be more worried about what my crimson friend here will do in the next second. And besides, you're not my type."

I landed a good blow with my metallic left hand. She stumbled back as she held her face.

She looked pissed. "You think you can land a blow like that on me?" She asked angrily with her eye glowing. She then rushed me, making a second falchion and attacking me in a scissor-like attack much like Jocelyn. I blocked it with my arm. This time it left scorch marks on my arm as her attack had so much more force behind it, making me skid a good 15 feet. Probably would have been further if I didn't stab my sword into the ground.

I inspected my arm for any damages. Fortunately, it was just surface level from what I could tell. She began to monologue at me "Do you believe yourself powerful? Do you really think you have any chance against me? My target has always been Pyrrha Nikos, especially after stealing my power." She gave an evil chuckle "Just who do you think you are? A hero?" She laughed, "You don't even have a semblance. What hope do you have against me?"

I shrugged "Like I need one to take down an egomaniac and narcissist like you." I countered as I freed my sword from the ground. "I've faced worse than you without one, and if by some cruel joke of the Brothers I never will. Then I shall rise above anyone, including you."

She made an amused chuckle "So you say, and yet you've only managed a scratch on me." She then gave me a smirk as a javelin appeared in her hand. "No matter. When I'm done, no one will remember your name." She then threw it at my head.

I leaned back to keep my head from becoming a kebab. "You need to work on your aim. Saw that coming a mile away."

"Are you sure I was aiming at you?" She asked.

I heard the sound of tearing flesh and leather with the sound of Pyrrha gasping.

I turned around to see what happened.

Sure enough, Cinder's javelin found its home through the back and near the stomach of Pyrrha Nikos.

She was gasping for air before collapsing to the ground on her knees.

Jocelyn looked as shocked as I did. As did Jaune.

Everything went quiet. If Cinder was posturing at all.

This happened because of me…

… I could have stopped this…

…I should have stopped it…

… This feeling again. Like fire in my lungs. A familiar feeling.

She must pay for what she has done.

I screamed, I know not what, but I did.

Now you see what happens when you hold back? Those you want to protect get hurt. If you don't try to grab power you will never be able to protect ANYONE. Let alone yourself.

Aren't you going to get vengeance?

You know you let it happen, you cannot forgive yourself for letting Pyrrha get harmed.

You know I'm right. Let me at her. I'll make her pay. You'll see. I'll make her pay for EVERYTHING she's done.

Fine.

Hm? Sorry, could you repeat that?

I said fine, destroy all those that wish harm to my friends. I don't care anymore…

You don't care what happens to you?

No. Just make them pay. Tenfold if you have to!

It laughed, With pleasure! FINALLY SOME FUN!

At that moment, Cinder finished her speech "-Now why don't you make like all the heroes of history and die!" She summoned a falchion and swung a blade at Justin.

Just as it made its way to his neck, he caught it with his robotic hand.

{Monster- Skillet}

He pushed the blade away from his neck, blade cracking under his grip as he recited "I go. And it is done. Hear not the bell Cinder Fall. For it is in that knoll that summons you either to heaven. Or hell!"

He then pulled Cinder close and rammed his knee into her stomach with enough force that it made her cough. Then slamming the pommel of his blade into her back bouncing her once then she landed back on her feet as she glanced back up at her opponent.

His hair had changed to white. His eyes glowing red with rage much like his clothing and sword. His hair and clothing also seemed to be manipulated by some aetheric wind.

He glanced down at her blade, and with a little extra strength, shattered the blackened glass blade.

Cinder chuckled "That's cute, you have a semblance now. Too bad it won't change how this battle will play-"

Justin wasted no time and dashed forward and slashed overhead at Cinder and she had enough time to dodge out of his way to see the blade bury itself in the floor. He then twirled over it and dislodged it for another overhead attack.

Cinder blocked that attack and stepped to the side as Justin slashed through a pillar and continued his beast-like assault. His every attack left a scratch upon any surface that didn't hit its intended target.

Cinder began to think What is this? I've never seen such a display of raw emotion and power.

She dodged what she could and when she was out of reach, Justin used the grapple hook on his arm and wrapped it around her throat to pull her close again.

He buried his blade in the ground and started laying blow after blow with his fists. Each one whittling away at her aura. And any time she was sent flying after a large enough blow, he would pull her right back in as if he were using her like a rubber ball with a string attached to it.

Cinder eventually freed herself by using her semblance on the cable that was attached to her neck.

She stood up and held her throat, reminiscing on bad memories. "Never again…" She muttered.

She then summoned two falchions again and called out "This semblance you unlocked. It's nothing more than a tantrum." She then rushed at him.

Justin plucked his sword from the ground and slashed at Cinder.

Cinder jumped over the attack and countered with an attack on his rear. Making him stumble forward.

Justin turned around quickly as Cinder backed up. "After all, your semblance is just a raw chunk of power with no substance behind it. That's all. You will never be anywhere close to me! Now die!" She slashed at him with both blades with an overhead attack

Justin blocked it with his arm as he recited "Not in this lifetime." He then flipped his blade around to have the pommel facing up. "As the air to a bird or the sea to a fish, so is contempt to the contemptible." He then slammed the pommel into her stomach, and while reeling from that attack, Justin roundhouse kicked Cinder into the wall next to the statue of a woman holding up the platform above.

Cinder had enough of this enraged boy. "Emerald, take care of this man. I have places to be." She then turned to Lionheart "You! Open it now!"

Lionheart batted Oscar's attack and ran down the steps to reach the statue to open it. Placing his pocket watch in the depression on the part of the statue's belt.

Cinder called to Raven "If you're finished with your brother, we need to go."

Raven nodded and ordered. "Vernal, we're finished here."

She nodded and broke away from Aaron and Yang. She picked up her other weapon and smirked "You two would never have beaten me anyway." She then walked away.

"WE'RE NOT FINISHED CINDER FALL!" Justin bellowed as he tried to attack Cinder.

His blade was feet away from Cinder when his blade was caught by Emerald's weapon.

He glanced up at his blade now wrapped in chains from Emerald. He quickly turned his head to her and threatened. "You dare to interfere with our vengeance? Then you die!" He yanked it with enough force that it swept Emerald off her feet and towards him.

He then kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying in the opposite direction, while freeing his blade.

Emerald was slammed against a pillar that had been previously cut by Justin. She stood up, clutching her stomach as she had not had that much force pushed against her aura before. As soon as she got her bearings again, Justin was quite a few feet above her with his sword pointed directly at her.

In an instant, Emerald rolled to the side just as Justin landed, burying his blade in the floor again.

Emerald looked directly into his eyes, she saw nothing but anger, hatred, and the look of a man willing to kill.

Mercury broke off from his fight with Qrow after Raven descended down the apparent elevator to assist Emerald.

Justin turned around and grabbed his leg with his own robotic appendage. "Ah, so you also lost limbs." He said with venom. "Shame to break these." He then swung Mercury into Emerald. He let go right as he made contact.

It seemed like when he inhaled it sounded like a low growl. Aaron and Jocelyn were horrified as Justin went completely ballistic. They then turned to each other "What do we do?" Jocelyn asked.

"I'm putting him in a sleeper hold." Aaron deadpanned "This is too much."

She nodded. "Agreed, she doesn't deserve that. I'll turn and you teleport. After that, I'll join Hazel's side."

Aaron nodded. "Alright."

Aaron teleported behind his friend, only to see his friend get hit by Lionheart's meteor attack.

An attack that Justin noticed and switched targets to.

Lionheart gulped and ran down the hall.

{Aaron's perspective}

I went in to do a sleeper hold only for him to duck under me, then rushed at Lionheart who cowardly ran away.

"Achilles! You need to chill!" I yelled as I ran after him.

Weiss yelled after me "Let me come with! This is unnatural even for a semblance awakening!"

"Fine!" I yelled as Justin somehow skipped all the flights of stairs and ran off into the building somewhere. I teleported to the top of the stairs and ran after him. I never really experimented on how long it would take for my semblance to recharge.

As soon as Weiss was next to me I grabbed her arm and teleported closer to Justin. And I was right on his heels again.

But he seemed to be moving unnaturally faster than he did on Earth. Even while dragging his sword along the ground.

I tried to teleport in front of him. No dice.

I turned to Weiss "So Weiss, what was that you said about this being weirder than a normal semblance awakening?"

Weiss explained "Everyone who awakens their semblance has one or two experiences, either a strong desire to protect, or desperation. In my case, my family's semblance came to me naturally. As it is the only hereditary semblance."

I nodded along "Makes sense, I unlocked mine from when I wanted to be with Neo this one time."

She raised an eyebrow at me.

"When I was evil. Don't you judge me Miss Daddy Issues." I retorted.

Let's try again… Dammit, still can't teleport. How long is this cooldown? Wasn't like this when I was fighting Mercury!

She rolled her eyes "Considering the things I've seen, I will let you have that one right now. Besides, we have bigger concerns."

"You're right." I said as I grabbed her wrist and teleported just behind where Justin was. The door looks like it was slashed and kicked down.

So while moving makes it longer? That makes no sense at all…

I walked into the room and glanced around. I saw a dead Seer grimm just dissolving. And Justin is standing at the end of the room, with a broken window in front of him. I also saw blood dripping from the fragments of the window.

"Justin what the fuck did you do?!" I yelled.

He shrugged, "What I had to. Besides, he was a coward anyway. And there is a special place in hell for cowards and traitors like him."

Wiess glanced at me confused.

I marched up to him and put him in a sleeper hold and said "You're done. You've done too much now."

He struggled against me, yelling "Let me go! I need to kill them all!"

"You do not kill!" I yelled to remind him. "This is for your own good!"

He tried to get out of it but eventually succumbed to the chokehold I put him in. With luck, he won't regain consciousness for a few seconds. I looked over at Weiss as his semblance dissipated. "So… care to give a guess as to what possessed him?"

Weiss put her thumb under her chin "He did shatter one of my mirrors at one point, yelling at himself at the same time."

… That's not good. "Weiss, has he… told you anything about himself?"

She raised an eyebrow "You mean besides the things he's told me? … Probably?"

"I see… and out of curiosity, what has he told you?"

She glanced down at him then back to me "Well… He came from a loving family, he is a geek, and he worked at a grocery store." She told me.

I sighed. Of course he hides that crucial bit of info. I understand why he hides it, but it seems to be affecting him more ever since we reincarnated. And definitely a LOT more recently.

"Why? Is something wrong with him?" She asked.

I waved my hand dismissively "Not my place to tell. He hates it when people tell others about what he's going through. For now I'll teleport him away from the battlefield. Then join back with you guys when I can."

Weiss nodded "Sounds good. I don't think "Achilles" is fit to continue."

The way she said his name has me a little suspicious, but that'll wait 'till later. "Alright. Be back in a flash… goddamnit Yang's got me doing it now."

Weiss giggled a little "She has that effect on everyone."

Weiss then dashed out of the room using her glyphs like she was ice skating.

I glanced down at Justin and said mostly to myself "You've got some explaining to do when you come to." I then slung him over my shoulder and teleported three times to get to my destination.

After laying him down on his bed I teleported another three times back to my destination. I ended up on one knee, being winded from the amount of teleporting I've done. I should have had Ruby do it or something. Jesus…

I glanced up in time to see Raven's bird form leave through the hole in the floor. With Yang nowhere in sight, I guessed that she had her confrontation. What I didn't expect was the hole in the roof. I glanced over at Ren and asked "Hey what happened while I was out?"

Ren locked eyes with me and shrugged "When you chased Achilles, we heard noises outside. I am assuming it's Blake and her group." He then pointed at Jaune. "Jaune is still treating Pyrrha." He then returned his gaze over to his comrades. "Hazel, Emerald, and Mercury aren't going down easily. And I saw a red blur both enter and exit but that was about it."

I raised an eyebrow "Are you sure? Because the only guy I know that wears red is Achilles."

Ren shrugged "It depends on when Achilles vanished and this thing appeared."

"I put him in a sleeper hold and put him in his own bed. Then I came here" I answered.

Ren raised an eyebrow then refocused on his battle "I see… But what happened to Lionheart?"

I sighed "Do you want the truth or a lie?"

Ren raised an eyebrow "The truth?"

"Achilles killed him in, what I assume, a bloodthirsty rage." I answered.

Ren's eyes widened "I didn't think he was capable of that."

I stood back up "Yeah, neither did I until he unlocked his semblance."

Ren then reminded me "We can talk about that later, we have our priority."

I ran up to Hazel readying my gauntlets and aimed for his shoulder to disable him. Since his semblance doesn't let him feel pain, I don't have to hold back.

Landing square on his shoulder Hazel noticed me and went in for a strike of his own. His opposite fist extended towards me leaving me fairly little time to react or block.

I decided for a misdirection and an open palm strike to direct his fist out of the way.

His response was to throw his left fist while I was busy with his right and at my chest.

I managed to get launched because of this. Once I got back on my feet Hazel was slowly approaching me. His stance reminds me of Mike Tyson in his prime.

So he's more of a brawler. Which focuses mostly on offense with a decent defense. But there is one glaring weakness. Brawlers like to keep their feet planted and do very little footwork.

Which means I will have to aim lower since Hazel could be protecting his face. Even with his semblance, one good hit to the jaw or head would end the fight.

So I kept my arms close to my face to keep it defended easier.

Once he got close he threw three consecutive punches.

I weaved through two of them and rolled to the opposite side of his left hook and aimed for his knee.

That strike made him take a knee for a moment before standing back up. "Not bad kid." He commented.

"Thanks." I replied before weaving through another three hit attack.

I then ducked under his arm and gave him the full force from my gauntlets. Fire dust activated which I assume dealt more damage.

He stood and cracked his neck "I see. You use Dust to help your combat." He then took yellow dust crystals out of his pocket. One yellow one red, and jammed it into his arms. "Why don't I even the playing field?"

… Shit that line went hard.

Hazel roared as his veins glowed.

I gave a quick glance at my aura levels on my scroll… And it's at 28%. Thanks Justin for going into a bloodthirsty rage and making me have to teleport your ass home!

I grunted and put my scroll away and readied myself. "Alright, let's get this party started!"

"Mystral Police! Stand down NOW!" a shout called out as spotlights filled the room as Mercury, Emerald and Hazel all backed into the center.

All of us encircled them. As we did, Emerald screamed and a giant illusion of Salem showed itself. A more beastly version of her. I kept my eyes shut as it rushed at us.

I heard Blake ask "What… was that?"

Ozpin answered "Salem. Or at least an illusion of her."

Weird that wasn't how he answered it in the show.

Yang ascended triumphantly with the Lamp of Knowledge. I couldn't help but smile. "Hey Yang, how was your talk with your mother?"

She shook her head "You don't need to know right now." She then glanced around "Where's Achilles?"

"Home." I answered. "He killed Lionheart."

Everyone seemed shocked at my news.

Ruby seemed to have taken it the worse. She kept a fist clutched to her chest.

I suppose all that's left to do is help the police clean up. Though I am still worried about Justin. I'm glad he has a semblance, but it seems like he's not himself.

Once outside I glanced over the area. It seems the White Fang is getting arrested. And Adam is nowhere to be seen. Coward.
