A/N: Gonna do the reviews up here this time.

catlovingmermaid(both reviews): Yes it was Snotlout's POV that one time. Here is the next update! We have protective Stoic and questioning Hiccup's sanity.

Toothless Lover 13: Well, I hope you like this!

Guest (1 & 2): Ooh! That is... did you guys read my notes or something? I mean that isn't exactly how it goes... but still! Way too uncanny how you knew any of that!

Guest (3): Glad that it looks interesting! Here is more for you to read! Your welcome!

omega13a: I know. I used to go through and read those, but never is it all of the teens and I just can't picture Hiccup without the gang. Besides, this way the twins and Snotlout still listen to Hiccup better than the adutls.

Chapter Two:

I awoke with a start, confusion creasing my brow. Something had woken me up... but the problem is that I couldn't pin point what it was. I didn't need to turn my head to see that Valka was sound asleep next to me, so her getting up couldn't have been what woke me... "Daddy!" A terrified screech erupted from somewhere above me. Springing out of bed, I ran out of my room, making a beeline for the upstairs, which had been converted into two separate bedrooms when Briar was born. The door to Hiccup's old room like always was shut tight, but the door to Briar's room was open a small crack.

Shoving the door open, I arrived in time to see a masked figure jump out of her window, with Briar tucked under his arm. "Stop!" I lunged forward, barely missing his cloak. Glancing out the window, I bot back a groan upon seeing that he had jumped on top of a dragon, a dragon that by chance had a saddle settled on top of it. "Johan was right... no one takes my baby girl and gets away with it!" Whirling around I left to wake the village and see how soon I could get the armada ready to give chase.

~Few Days Later, With Hiccup~

I paused as I took a step back to examine the hopeful improvements that I had just made to the flightsuit. "Okay... I just need to test out these new adjustments to see if it works..." "Your gonna test it yourself?" "By that I mean talk someone into testing it for me. How long have you been standing there?" I turned to raise one eyebrow at Astrid, puzzled on when she entered the workshop.

Astrid shrugged as she pushed herself away from the wall that she was leaning against. "Oh, I don't know, an hour and fifty-two minutes is my guess?" As she spoke, she glanced at something on her wrist.

"You've been timing me to see how long it'll take me to notice you, haven't you?" I couldn't help the smile that crossed my features. That was so like her to do something like that.

"You know it." Astrid flashed a smile at me, before suddenly tilting her head to the side. "Do you know where the twins are?"

I turned back to my invention carefully gathering it up. "Not exactly. They were annoying me so I told them to go blow stuff up."

"Ah. You do remember that we have a date today right?" Astrid moved to help me clean up my space.

"Yeah but that isn't until twelve thirty..." I glanced at one of my older inventions that was resting on my wrist. "and it's only one twenty-two... oh." I turned bright red at that, suddenly realizing why Astrid had came in when she did. "You know you could have interrupted me."

"Now where's the fun in that?" Astrid rolled her eyes as she moved closer to me, quickly pressing a kiss on my cheek.

I rolled my eyes at that lame kiss, before dumping everything into the crate I've been keeping it all in. "Maybe. But still we wouldn't be scrambling to get a good seat for the show if you had told me the time when you first arrived." We walked out of the workshop, where Toothless was playing with Stormfly, my fingers curling around her own slender, heavily callused from all the axe throwing fingers.

Just then a familiar Zippleback skidded to a halt in front of us, the twins springing down from his necks, a small child with them. Wait a minute... "Um... Hideous? Zipple?" They had their masks on so I automatically referred to them by their alter-ego names. "Where did you get the kid..?" I paused, what I had sent them to do springing to the forefront of my mind. "Since when did go blow stuff up translate to kidnap some random kid?!"

Tuffnut tilted his head to the side, before cheerfully responding. "Since we noticed that the Hunters were holding her prisoner and we just had to do something... so we decided to pull a Hiccup!"

"Since when did my... that is not what hiccup means!" I pinched the bridge of my nose, noting in the back of my head that honestly everyone has a tendency to label any crazy, stupid plans that mostly will end up with one of our own dead as pulling a Hiccup. Maybe I should work on my planning abilities..? "Okay..." Dropping to my knees, I looked the small child, who honestly looked like Dad with blue eyes...and female, in the eye. "Do you know the name of your tribe? So we can get you back to your parents." If they weren't prisoners themselves. That always put a damper on things.

"Hairy Hooligan." The child looked at me with wide eyes, her gaze occasionally slipping to the side to observe my tribe.

I felt my heart sink low in my chest as I looked at her. "On Berk..?" Maybe there were two Hairy Hooligan tribes?

"Yes. Have you been there before?" She snapped her attention back to me.

I rubbed my face tiredly, before straightening and turning to face Astrid. "Your in charge until I get back. I'm gonna run her back to Berk."

"Are you sure?" Astrid frowned at that, worry creasing her brow.

"Positive. I mean really, What's the worse that's gonna happen?" As soon as I said that, I regretted it as Ruffnut shook her head at me.

"You just jinxed yourself."

"Zipple take your brother to Rumble Crash and fill him in on what just happened." I glared at her, annoyed that she thought I had jinxed myself. Taking the child by the hand, I walked over to Toothless. "Come on bud... we need to head back to Berk." I thought you said we were never returning there? I blinked, trying to push the voice to the back of my head. "Things change. We need to get her home to her parents. Besides that. With my luck I should have known avoiding Berk was not an option for me." I climbed unto his back, carefully lifting her up behind me. "By the way, what's your name?"

"Briar."

A/N: So any guesses on who Rumble Crash is? Hint: All riders have at least one part of their dragon species name in their name...
