Museum Infiltration Pt1
The Dragon Gems with their new member Zane under the code name Ninja have re-entered Lysandre's Palace in order to resume their infiltration to find where Lysandre's treasure is and secure a route to it. They made it to the Central Garden to find the security system was still down.
"Nice, the security's still down!" Uzi said with a smile.
Alexis sighs and said, "Thanks to all my head work."
"…What do you mean by that?" Zane asked confused.
"Don't worry about it. Come on, let's keep going!" Uzi said simply.
They move in and keep going and when they deal with a Bringer of Madness in the room of the Shadow Lysandre statue when at the end of the room Aqua notices something sparking on a brochure rack.
'That brochure…' Aqua thinks
"Ooh, do you think that could be another pamphlet?" Gatomon asked smiling "Let's take it with us, Waterwave!"
Aqua takes and sees it has a map for the Treasure Hall.
"Hey, ain't this pamphlet different from the one we got before?" Uzi asked.
"You're right. It says it's the second out of two." Gatomon said nodding.
"Oh, and it has the rest of the map!" Alexis said smiling. "Now we can use it to figure out where the Treasure is, right?"
"I suspect it's in the innermost point of this place. If that's the case…" Gatomon said looking at the map "The most suspicious spot seems like this main hall here." He points to it.
"Hm, we will need to pass through the loung and the gallery in order to reach it…" Zane notes.
"The deeper in we go, the tighter security's going to be. We need to advance carefully, okay?" Gatomon said
The Dragon Gems nod and begen making their way through, they came across a large room with many red electric fences and patrolled by some Shadow Basherbots.
"It feels like I might touch them accidentally…Let's be careful as we go through here, okay?" Alexis notes looking at the fences.
They do so and fight the Shadow Basherbots with here Jack Frosts and a plant bird known as Corpse Bird, which Aqua recruits which turned out to be an Onmoraki.
"Oh miss, it's fun to be a part of you!" Onmoraki said excited.
"Well we're glad to have you on board" Arsene said patting his head. Aqua smiles and nods.
They keep going but rounding a corner they stop and see a Shadow Basherbot wearing a white robe with gold emblems on it.
"H-Hey, there's a strong-looking one over there! We've seen that kind before…" Uzi said nodding.
"His stance conveys the notion that he is no ordinary foe." Zane said.
"Yeah, it's a General, no doubt the general of the gallery and lounge of the treasure hall." Aqua said nodding.
"I think the control room's behind him." Gatomon said thinking "He's probably guarding it to make sure nobody gets too close. However, we'll need to disarm the security if we want to ensure we have a safe infiltration route. Forcing our way through seems to be our only option…"
"Yeah, let's go." Aqua said and the group approached him
"Hm?! Who are you?!" The Gallary and Lounge General asked seeing them "How did you get in here?!"
"It was fairly simple if you must know." Aqua said to him smiling.
"Well, that won't be the case here!" The general said smirking. He then transforms into a blue skinned winged figure in monks outfit holding a conch shell known as Monster of the Valley, he also summoned two Fool Monks to aid him "I figured you're the one who took out the Museum General even though my forces backed him up, well I will do what he couldn't!"
Aqua started off having Asparas knock the Foolish Monks with Bufu before passing to Alexis who put Monster of the Valley to sleep, one Foolish monk recovered and beefed up it's master's attack. Gatomon has Zorro use Lucky Punch to knock Monster of the Valley down and Zane uses Bafu to take out the Foolish Monk still up and then they all out attacked the remaining two. It defeated the final Foolish Monk but the Monster of Valley was still up, Alexis puts it to sleep again and it recovered some health. Zane uses Giant Slice and Aqua uses Berith's Cleave.
"Ah! I-Impossible…how can you be so strong…." Monster of the Valley said.
"You won't know" Gatomon said as he shoots at him while Alexis attacks with his whip finishing him.
"You….will not defeat….the Tresure Hall….General…he is stronger then either of…us…" The Monster of the Valley said as he falls down fading away.
What was behind was a purple card that said Media as Aqua looks at it.
"Phew, that guy looked tought…I guess that's just par for the course in a Palace…" Uzi said, lucky they were able to beat him before it could try anything.
"It really was on a totally different level from the other enemies though…" Alexis said nodding "Guess that make sense for the difference between regular troops and generals."
"Hm, he dropped some sort of card." Zane said seeing the card in Aqua's hand.
"What's this for? I've never seen anything like it…" Gatomon said scratching his head.
"Ain't it just some kind of look? Come on let's get back to exploring." Uzi said shrugging.
Aqua nods and pockets the card. She sees a locked chest and opens it with one of her lockpicks and found inside a katana sword known as Yuibitachi.
"We got our hands on quite the weapon…I'd love to get a feel for it…" Zane said to her.
"Sure, go ahead." Aqua said handing it to him.
"…Hm, this fits me perfectly! What an excellent find." Zane said as he equips it. The group then enter the control room and he said "It appears this is the control room for the security…"
"Sweet! Let's turn that stuff off already!" Uzi said grinning.
Aqua approaches a control console and the terminal said "Please input the password.."
"Bite me, another one…?" Uzi groans.
"We'll just have to look for someone else who might know it…" Gatomon suggests.
The group back track but hide as through a closed gate they see two Shadow Basherbots on the otherside talking.
"I hear the intruders already got past the central garden security…" A Trailing Guard Basherbot said.
"Yeah. I just got a call earlier to change the password here too…" The Leading Guard Basherbot said.
"What to? It better not be simple." The Trailing Guard Basherbot asked.
"Well, I was having some trouble coming up with a good one…" The Leading Guard Basherbot explained "For now, I set it to the numbers for Lord Lysandre's feet."
"Lord Lysandre's feet? What are you talking about?" The Trailing Guard Basherbot asked confused.
"Let's get back on duty. There's a chance the intruders are nearby." The Leading Guard Basherbot said. The two then continue their guard duty.
The Dragon Gems move back to privately talk and Uzi said "Lysandre's feet? The robot hell is that supposed to mean?!"
"Maybe… his shoe size?" Alexis suggested shrugging.
"Yo, Ninja. You know the jerk's shoe size?" Uzi asked Zane.
"Unfortunately, I have never heard him mention it." Zane said shaking his head "Are we sure that is the proper password…?"
"Lysandre's feet… what do you think that could mean?" Gatomon asked Aqua.
"I think I might know." Aqua said and leads the way, dealing with the two Shadow Basherbots one of them being like the captain that Uzi and Aqua beat known as a Naughty Chimera. Another was a long silver dog with a black head known as Possessing Ghost Dog, Aqua recruits the latter as she is strong enough to revealing it to be known as Inugami.
"Me happy to be a part of you I will lend my power when needed" Inugami said happily.
"Me happy to have one who speak like me" Slime said to that and Aqua giggles.
Aqua then takes the group back to the statue of Shadow Lysandre. She sees the sign and reads it which said "Here we praise our most holy lord Lysandre, the one ray of hope in this depraved world. He stands alone as his two adept hands paint into the future. None shall ever match his excellence."
"Pffft! He's really puffing his chest out here, ain't he…?" Uzi said rolling her LED eyes.
"Hold on a moment…Could this be the spot of 'Lysandre's feet' that the security Basherbot mentioned?" Zane said thinking.
"It's at his feet…. Oh, right! But isn't the password supposed to be a number of some kind?" Alexis asked thinking.
"Hm, I do believe there are numbers here though…" Zane said looking at it "'One' ray of hope stands 'alone' with 'two adept hands.' 'None' shall match him… That means…"
Aqua thinks and said "That means the password is 1120"
"Yeah, that must be it!" Gatomon said nodding.
"Sweet! Let's head back and shut down the security!" Uzi said smiling.
The group head back to the security room and Aqua keys in the password. The Terminal accepts the password and opens up all the security gates in the area.
"Whoa…That opened all sorts of stuff…" Uzi said surprised.
"We'll definitely be able to go to more places now! Come on, let's get moving!" Gatomon said smiling.
They go into the area and find they couldn't proceed as the red security fields were still up but noticed the large painting on the wall.
"What a giant painting…" Alexis said amazed looking at the paintings of a bamboo forest.
"Indeed. It's been such a bizarre texture as well. It's as though I could simply slip inside…" Zane said and reached his and when he touched it the painting shimmered like water "Wh-What the…?!" He pulls his hand back
"What happened?" Aqua asked concerned.
"M-My hand…It actually entered the painting…" Zane said optics wide.
"So, we can go inside of it…?" Gatomon said thinking. "Well, I don't see any other path for us to take. Let's give it a try!"
Aqua nods and the group leaps into the painting and after doing so they hear Lysandre's voice saying "How dare you trample on my tranquil bamboo garden with those grimy feet! You shall not leave alive!"
"What the heck was that…?!" Uzi asked surprised.
"We're probably just hearing Lysandre's thoughts." Gatomon said thinking "There's no need to panic."
"Lysandre…" Zane said looking down.
The group move to the right of the painting and soon end up in another painting on the wall.
"Oh…We're in another painting…" Alexis said looking round.
"Hm… So, this space is not merely one, but a multitude of paintings." Zane said thinking.
Uzi nods to that and said "…You're telling me they're all connected? Which one goes where?"
"That, we will have to continue walking to find out…" Zane said thinking.
"Hey Waterwave, can't you spot the connection with your skills?" Gatomon asked her.
"Yeah I can with my Third Eye ability" Aqua said nodding and they proceed to the part of the painting to leap out of it.
"So he dares call us thieves who dirty his heart…" Zane said clenching his fists and adds "The one who has sullied the very nature of art itself has no right to accuse us of such a thing…!"
"Save your emotions for later. We have to keep moving!" Gatomon said.
They keep moving and soon finds a safe room for a quick break before heading into the Treasure Hall Lounge. But before that Aqua goes back into the Velvet room as he search she found a Regeant and uses it on Mokoi and improved into Matador, a skeleton in a Matador outfit.
"I am Matador." The new Persona said. "This body of mine, born from the bloody throes of battle, shall be with you as a mask from now on."
"Well nice to have you on board Matador" Aqua said smiling before retuning to the mission.
They move in and see a large wall with several more giant paintings.
"Huh. More big paintings just like the once we saw before…" Uzi said looking at them.
"There is something off about these though…" Zane notes. He points to the two highest ones that had no pictures "Look. There are even two frames with no paintings at all."
"Why don't we go take a closer look?" Alexis suggests. They do so and get close to a painting with Numuls on it.
"Ain't this just like last time? You know, with the secret passage inside and everything." Uzi said.
"Hm…It looks like these ones are all completely different." Alexis notes.
"There are even frames with no paintings at all…" Zane points out.
"That is strange…but we don't have a choice. Let's go Waterwave." Gatomon said.
Aqua nods and the group leap into the desert painting. They heat Lysandre's voice saying "Alas, this world is a desert filled with layman who cannot understand true beauty…! The slow drain of my skill in inevitable when I am surrounded by such mediocrity…"
"…So, he's gonna blame the world for his declining skill?" Uzi asked annoyed. "Heh, that jerk never had any real talent to begin with!"
They move and enter a new painting with a sprit gate in the clouds with a mountain in the distance. Lysandre is heard saying "The gods, even in their dormancy, are worshipped constantly. People gather under shrine gates, offer their money, and return home fully satisfied. Art is practically the same. In the end, it is all just a matter of imagination…!"
"Huh?! Even if that's true, that doesn't give you the right to be deceiving people!" Alexis said angered.
They move to the next painting which was in a cave in the jungle by the rock cliff. Lysandre is heard saying "Hark work is not what makes a sapling grow thing with green leaves. Too many young people do not see the true value in youth these days. What fools…Is it truly wrong for an expert such as myself to capitalize on that youth before it wastes away?"
"What the heck? He's basically saying he's jealous of young talent…" Gatomon said shocked. "Look at me! I was turned into a cat, but I'm still fighting. Age isn't a valid excuse."
Aqua leaps out the painting to a platform with a button and presses it. What appens is one of the empty frames has a picture appear on it.
"Look! Another painting!" Uzi points out.
"So passing though one hidden route leads to the formation of another…What an elaborate ruse." Zane said nodding "It's highly likely there is a new path though the painting. We should investigate Waterwave."
"Agreed" Aqua said and they leap back into the painting.
They find the right routh and enter a new painting, a boat in an ocean being attacked by a giant kracken. Lysandre is heard saying "Could a ship skirt across the ocean if its crew had to constantly worry about what sea life may lie below? Art, life, water…They are all identical. The one who ascends to the summit is the victor!"
"So, he's using all those pretty words, but he's basically saying people are like stepping strone." Uzi said thinking "That's just like what he did to all those kids crushed them for his 'art'! What a piece of scrap!"
Aqua nods and not wanting to approach the kraken and jumps into the water and out the painting, she sees a button on the platform they landed to and hits it. Like before a picture appears in the final empty frame.
"Another painting…" Alexis said smiling.
"Ah, there are no longer any empty frames at this pont." Zane said nodding.
"I bet there's a new path again too. Let's get in there and check it out." Uzi said
Aqua nods and they go back to the start entering the painting and find the route to the final painting in a mansion in a forest. Lysandre is heard saying "Beauty is merely a mirage… Transforming that into money is what brings about true happiness. My fine mansion, my lifestyle among the chosen few… Those things are the true 'art'!"
"So running your atelier out of a shabby, run-down shack was simply an act after all…" Zane said sadly "How foolish I was to have been deceived for so long…"
"Ninja…" Alexis said sadly.
The group leap out the painting to the platform with the exit of this room. Uzi smiles and said "Sweet, this has got to be the end!"
"How despicable…" Zane said "We have encountered so many of his paintings, yet not once did he mention a love for art. These are no 'paintings'…They are just meaningless sell-assertions placed into picture frames…!"
"I'm excited to see how the change of heart alters him." Gatomon said nodding. "Now let's hurry!"
The group head down and fight through other Basherbot guards. They fought a Bringer of Misfortune and Aqua manged to recruit it and it's name was revealed Shiki-Ouji, Slime merged with it to give it, it's spot.
"I will do my best to ensure I am of value to the team" Shiki-Ouji said.
"I know you will" Aqua said smiling
They even a female Batling that revealing to be a being know as Captervating Dancer assisted by two Inugami's
"Oh get her!" Pixie said surprising Aqua but she nods.
Aqua manages to and convinces her to join them revealing they are Amo-no-Uzume. Pixie like Slime merges with her to give up her spot.
"Well this will be interesting." Amo said with a smile.
They keep moving and end up in a storage area where they see behind a gate a doorway to a Will Seed. Aqua finds the switch and opens up the gate and they go to the doorway. Zane seemed to enjoy the fact of taking them that unneard Alexis.
With that said they headed for the doorway and went into the next area.
Well we got more Personas and some replace some old ones with more powerful ones. Enjoy ^^
