J's Offer

The next day Aqua was at the station waiting for her train. Just then Vrak and Metal Alice walks over to her.

"Fancy seeing you here." Vrak said to Aqua with a smile.

"Hello again." Alice said to Aqua nodding. "Though make sense sir, Citadel was in this direction too…"

"I see." Vrak said nodding "Still, I wouldn't have expected to run into you at this time. Perhaps it really is fate…How are you doing?"

"I am not doing too bad" Aqua said with a smile.

"Haha. Relaxed as always, I see." Vrak chuckles "…I've been getting interviewd a lot lately, so I've been wondering how to answer such questions…I see now that there's no need to be so roundabout with my responses. Talking with you helps me realize many things."

"Well, if that's the case and it isn't too much trouble, may master Vrak speak with you again sometime?" Alice asked Aqua.

"Sure, just shoot me a text when you're free." Aqua said with a nod.

Aqua soon arrives at Citadel Academy a while later and as she walks overhears two girls talking "…Hey, I heard from one of my upperclassman, but apparently there's some kind of weirdo in Voya-Nui." An Uneasy Girl said. "Even at a glance, you can supposedly tell right away that he's bad news. You live there, don't you? Are you okay?"

"Oh, you mean the cloaked guy with sword hands in Harmony Alley? My parents were talking about him too…" A Curious Girl said "Doesn't' that just make you wonder?! I'm thinking I might try looking for him today…"

"Wha, don't do that!" The Uneasy Guy said "Besides, I heard he hides his face…Who knows what he'll do to you if he sees you? You're going to end up in a ditch somewhere chopped up, I just know it!"

"…They're probably talking about that guy Bob." Gatomon said sadly. "They're spreading all these rumours. I kinda feel sorry for him."

"Yeah, he's sketchy, but he isn't a bad person." Aqua said nodding.

"I know…But still, first impressions count a lot." Gatomon said nodding. "Well, his offer to trade items was pretty good. I bet it'll come in handy for the Phantom Thieves…Let's use it to our advantage."

Aqua nods and head to go into the building.

Soon Aqua was in class with Alexis and it was currently Biology Class with Mr. Small.

Mr. Small said to the class smile "Before I realized it, we're halfway through June. It's the only month of the year with no holidays, and it's filled with rain-truly a season of hell. I'm exaggerating you say? Haha. You're all just ignorant…After all, what's falling from the sky is acid rain that can melt metal."

He looks over at Aqua "Aqua. Let's test your knowledge and imagination." Crystal sits at at attention to listen. "When washing your hair with dissolved copper, your hair colour changes…What colour do you think it turns?"

"I believe it is green sir." Aqua said.

"That is correct." Mr. Small said clapping smiling. "By the way, magnesium turns you hair white, and rust will turn you hair red. However, acid rain can't melt gold or silver. If you want to dye your hair gold, use bronze coins." He thinks on it "Thinking you could save money by skipping a visit to the hair salon? …It seems you still don't understand the horror of acid rain."

The class and Gatomon were impressed that Aqua got it right and Aqua feels her knowledge improve from this.

"Galar once had acid rain on the level of stomach acid. More than four thousand people died." Mr. Small explained. "Perhaps one day such a deathly rain will fall on our region…My heart, too, is overcast, just like the rain that falls on the city…Ah, rain!"

Gatomon said to that wincing "…I'm tired of thinking up witty comments."

Soon it was the end of the day for school and as Aqua was peparing her things Yor approaches her and said "Oh good, you haven't gone home yet. J's looking for you. Could you head to the student council room right away? She says there's no report of a lost item, so she wants you to start filling ou some paperwork."

"Huh…? I don't understand." Aqua said confused. She hasn't lost anything.

"Telling me that isn't going to get you out of this." Yor tells her. "The student council room is on the third floor, next to the library. Got it?" She turns around and sighs saying "Why am I running errands for a student? I know she's the principal's favourite or whatever…" She walks off.

"J's the drone girl who keeps following you around, right?" Gatomon said in Aqua's bag. "What could she want…?"

Let's find out." Aqua said and heads to the third floor and finds the student council room.

"This is the student council room. What were we called her for? This is rather strange…" Gatomon said thinking as they enter and see J was in there waiting for them

"Ah. Earlier than expected." J said with a smile and motions to one of the chairs by the table in the room "…Have a seat."

The two sit across from each other, Aqua placing her bag with Gatomon in it on the chair next to her.

J when seated said "I'll get straight to the point. Mr. LeBlanc and Lysandre. Won't you tell me the truth behind the Phantom Thieves' incidents?" Both Aqua and Gatomon look surprised at hearing that "Can't answer that? Ah, of course. There's no way you would admit to such things." She smiles and pulls out her phone "Have a listen."

J plays a recording putting the phone on the table and Uzi's voice came from it playing what she yelled out the other day "If someone else could help them we wouldn't be doing stuff at the Phantom Thieves to start with!"

"So, you think it's true? We'll be okay if we keep doing this…right?" Alexis' voice is heard saying from the recording as well.

When the recording end J looks serious at Aqua and asked "…What could all this mean?"

"We screwed up…" Gatomon whispered worried.

"Was it blackmail? Hypnosis? How do you corner someone into making them confess?" J asked Aqua. "Won't you tell me how you did it?"

"I have no idea" Aqua said to that.

"…You want to say that this doesn't prove anything, don't you?" J said thinking. "I believe that you three are the Phantom Thieves." She smiles a bit saying "Now, what would the police troopers think if they heard my recording?"

"it'd be bad if we're put under police surveillance." Gatomon whispered to Aqua. "There's no telling what'll happen to you, too!"

"If you confess the truth, I don't mind just leaving this between the two of us…" J said shrugging. "You'll tell me, won't you?"

"Just let me thing about it." Aqua said thinking as it was a big gamble.

"I believe that time would just be wasted." J tells her, just then Aqua's phone rings and she looks to see it was Uzi calling "Go ahead." J said smiling.

Aqua answers it and Uzi said loud enough for everyone in the room, even J despite it not being on speaker "Hey, where you at? The little drones room? Let's meet up at the usual spot to hold our Phantom Thieves meeting!" Aqua eyes widen as she hangs up.

"That dumb bot!" Gatomon said annoyed.

"That barely sentient toaster is as loud as always…but her timing's perfect." J said grinning amused. "I'd like everyone else to hear this as well. Won't you take me to your friends?"

"I guess it can't be helped now…" Gatomon said sighing defeated.

We come to Alexis, Uzi and Zane waiting at the spot at the train station that acts as the Dragon Gems' hideout meeting spot.

"Oh.." Zane said looking up and seeing Aqua approch

"Hm? She here?" Uzi asked munching on a battery

"Is that other female drone a friend of yours?" Zane asked Uzi and Alexis.

The two look and surprised to see walking with Aqua to them was J. Uzi stands up and said shocked "Wh-What the robot hell?"

"What's the meaning of this?" Alexis asked annoyed

"I had her lead me here." J tells them looking at them "Uzi Doorman, Alexis Rhodes…And you're Zane, correct? Second-Year at Ninjago High and former pupil of Lysandre? I wanted to ask you all about this." She pulls out her phone and plays the recording to the three

After the recording was done J puts the phone away and said "An extremely similar technique was used for both Gaston and Lysandre…While those affected by their acts were just coincidentally meeting up…How could that not raise suspicions?"

The members of the Dragon Gems look at each other and Zane looks at J and asked "What do you intend to do? Have you come just to say you're going to report us?"

"I bet someone told you to fund us." Alexis said glaring at J "The school can't have ties to criminals, after all! And yet they turn a blind eye when it comes to suicide and sexual harassment. Those adults are just using you. I feel sorry for you."

J sighs and said "I…I know…"

"Huh?" Alexis said taken aback by that.

"That's why I would like to verify the justice you speak of." J tells the group.

The members of the Phantom Thieves look surprised and confused and Uzi asked "What?"

J then explains "I'm the only one who knows about you. If you prove what you're doing is just, I'll erase this." She indicates to her phone.

"She wants to make a deal…" Gatomon tells the others to clarify what J means.

"There is someone whose heart I'd like you to change." J explained to them.

"Who?" Zane asked.

"Hm, so you're not saying it's impossible." J said to that. "However,…I cannot tell you that just yet. Let's continue our talk after school tomorrow. On the roof. Assuming you accept my offer, that is." She then walks off.

Once she was gone Uzi sighs and said "Bite me, this is turning to a real pain…"

A while later the Dragon Gems sit at a table in the restaurant diner to discuss what happened.

Zane looks at Uzi and tells her "…You were careless. I don't think you truly understood how high the stakes were. Anything to say, Uzi?"

"Why're you singling me out? Alexis got recorded too, you know!" Uzi said to that.

"I'm so sorry…" Alexis said looking down.

"Hey, what should we do?" Uzi asked concerned. "That drone's got dirt on us…"

"A recording seems to be insufficient evidence though." Zane points out. "And even with that, there's no way they could prove our methods."

"Considering who we're dealing with, I think it might be a trap." Alexis said looking serious.

"Regardless, Aqua would be in real trouble. She's on probation, after all." Gatomon said popping out of the bag.

"Things'd get rough if we didn't have our leader…and I totally 'on't want to deal with the police troopers…" Uzi said thinking on it.

"Then…we have no other choice but to go along with it." Zane said seeing only one option.

"Yes, it's best we agree, at least for the time being." Gatomon said in agreement. "We made a crucial mistake…but not a critical one. We'll just have to recover from here on out."

"Yeah, yeah. My bad." Uzi said sighing. She then looks at Aqua "So…we doing this?"

"We have to." Aqua said nodding.

"All right. We're meeting on the school rooftop tomorrow, yeah?" Uzi said nodding.

"What about me?" Zane asked "I could always sneak in if necessary."

"That'll draw too much attention. You should just wait outside, Zane." Alexis told him. She then said under her breath "What could she be scheming?"

A while later Aqua was back in her room in LeBlanc when her phone goes off and she sees a message from Uzi in the Dragon Gems group chat saying "I'm so completely annoyed. Do we just got to do what she says…?"

"Considering what has happened, it seems we have no other choice." Zane points out.

"I wonder whose hear the student council president would want us to change." Alexis said.

"Don't matter to me." Uzi said to that.

"But there might be a reason behind who she picks, right?" Alexis points out.

"I wonder who it is as well." Aqua messages.

"I am curious myself…" Zane said in agreement. "She mentioned how she wants us to prove our justice, did she not?"

"Yes, she definitely did." Alexis said.

"Then there must be some reasoning behind her choice." Zane said. "Please contact me immediately if you find anything out. And don't go picking any fights, okay? Do you understand, Uzi?"

"Why're you singling me out?! I ain't dumb!" Uzi yells out.

Aqua giggles and puts her phone away, Gatomon said "Be careful. She's a shrewd one. We'd best be prepared for anything.

Aqua sees a message from Vrak to meet up and heads out to Piplup Sniper where he approaches Vrak and Metal Alice.

"Hey, Aqua. Good evening" Metal Alice said seeing her approaching.

"I wanted to talk to you, but…since we have the time, do you want to go play billiards together?" Vrak asked. "It's not that difficult, and we can chat and play at the same time. How about it?"

"I might be a good way to strengthen the bond between you two." Archangel said to Aqua.

"Sure, let's hang out." Aqua said nodding.

"I'm glad I asked I was a little worried you'd turn me down." Vrak said smiling

"Well then you two, let's get going." Alice said nodding.

They go into the building and Aqua and Vrak began playing while Metal Alice watches.

"I found myself with some free time, so I was hoping to find someone to play against." Vrak said holding his pool cue.

"You always seem so busy." Aqua said.

"A detectives work is never done." Archangel said in agreement.

"Well, master wouldn't say he's unoccupied but he's not busy all the time either." Alice said as Vrak nods in agreement.

"Yeah, if anything, it's my policy to spend my spare time in meaningful ways." Vrak said to that and prepares to hit the white ball "Now, let's play a game. You've played pool before, correct?" He hits it and breaks the balls and it was a well done shot with some going into the pockets. "Oh my apologises, a break ace."

"Not bad." Aqua said.

"Defiantly no newbie to this game" Archangel said.

"It was just a coincidence." Vrak said to that.

"I feel safe to say this game won't count so you should start over." Alice tells them.

They play for a while and soon Vrak made his turn and said concerned "Oof…Bad move on my part. If you get this next one, I'm in trouble."

Aqua goes and places her move and gets the correct ball in one of the pockets. Alice said "Not bad. Everything's riding on your next shot, though. How will you handle this?"

"I'm going to shoot very carefully." Aqua said and readies to shoot

"Smart play." Archangel said nodding.

"Well, let's see your skills." Vrak said smiling.

Aqua shoots and the blue ball nears the pocket but stops short of going in. She thinks 'There wasn't enough force. It didn't even reach the pocket…'

Soon they make it to the end of the game with Vrak sinking the final ball. "Master Vrak wins." Alice said.

"That was a close one, though." Vrak said smiling "I suppose it would have been embarrassing to lose as your senior, huh?"

Aqua thinks to herself looking at Vrak 'Something seems off…'

She remembers Vrak shaking Aqua's hand with her left hand back at the studio, with past Vrak saying "Thank you, that's great news. I sense something in you that's quite different from other people. I guess you can call it my detective's intuition? Haha, kidding, of course."

Then Aqua remembers when they started playing, with Vrak using his right hand. He said "Oh, my apologies. A break ace."

Metal Alice seeing Aqua thinking asked "Is something the matter?"

"Vrak, you used your right hand." Aqua said.

"Yeah he did" Archangel said nodding.

"Huh…" Vrak said looking at her and smiles "I'm honestly impressed you noticed. That's right, this one's my dominant hand. I switched hands during the game. It's not anything against you. Going all-out against a junior just seems a bit gauche…But I confess you've surprised me."

"Master is rather dexterous with his right hand. He can even use chopsticks with it. Frankly, we didn't expect you to see through it." Alice explains.

"I see a lot of things." Aqua said to that.

"Indeed, even in things beyond this realm." Archangel said chuckling.

"Oh, so those glasses are just for aesthetic, then?" Vrak asked chuckling. "Or were you being metaphorical? You're a hard human to read sometimes."

"In any case, you are truly interesting. You never cease to intrigue master." Alice said nodding.

Aqua can sense Vrak's appreciation, she sees the Justice Archana card go up to two starts and gained a new ability Sleuthing Instinct which has the chance to reveal one enemy affinity at the start of battle.

"If you ever mange to win against me using my right hand, then I will face you with everything I have." Vrak told Aqua looking at her intently "You have my word.

"Sure." Aqua said nodding and soon the three leave for home.

As Aqua approaches LeBlanc her phone rings and it was from Vrak who said "Hey. Thanks for coming along today. Our little game turned out to be more interesting than I expected. Barely anyone notices when I don't use my dominant hand. I can only commend your powers of observation."

"I think you'd be an interesting influence on me." Vrak said thinking "If you're so inclined, we could go out again sometime."

"As rivals?" Aqua asked.

"Sometimes the best influences is a good rival." Archangel said nodding.

"Haha…Whatever works for you. As long as I can spend some time with you, think of it as you please." Vrak said chuckling "Well! I suppose I'll reach out the next time something comes up. See you."

Aqua nods and after putting her phone away heads up to bed. Through the night people were offer shady jobs or talking about the Phantom Thieves.

The next day Aqua was at the station when the brown bird person she met outside Lysandre's approaches her and said "Hey, it's you! Morning! Going to school now? I'm just heading home! The morning sun is too bright…"

"What about your job?" Aqua asked

"I pulled an all-nighter." The bird said sighing "Journalist Granda Dee works around the clock, you know! Well, you work hard on your studies."

"Right." Aqua said and goes to catch her train.

The day went by with no incident and soon after school, Aqua, Alexis and Uzi along with Gatomon in Aqua's bag head up to the roof, their waiting for them was J.

"I was thinking you might not show." J said looking at them.

"So, whose heart do you want us to change?" Alexis asked wanting to get this over with.

J looking to the ground and said "…A mafia boss to be exact a Hellverse Mafia boss."

"Mafia?!" Alexis said in shock.

"What're you talking about?!" Uzi asked her surprised.

"That's what they go by." J said and explained "This group of Imps and other hell beings seems to be the cause of the rise in phishing scams. What's worse, once you're in their sights, they won't stop threatening you until they get what they want. They'll force you to take part in their scams, threaten your family, and ultimately destroy your life and worse may end up having you giving up your soul in the most extreme case, according to the rumours."

"Bite me times 1000…." Uzi said shocked and disturbed by that.

J nods to that response as she had the same reaction from her brief research on this issue and adds "It appears that their victims include some of our students."

"No!" Alexis said looking down.

"They primarily target juveniles." J added.

"What's their boss's name?" Uzi asked her.

"Nobody knows." J said with a sigh. "The victims are being threatened not to testify, so even the police troopers can't get a grasp of the situation."

"That's where you want us to start?!" Alexis asked shocked.

"This is all I was able to acquire on my own." J told her arms folded "You should be able to pull it off better then I can solo…If you're really the righteous Phantom Thieves. Or is Vrak correct when he says you act without justice?"

"Can't you say something witty back at her?" Gatomon said to Aqua in her bag.

"Give us the details you haven't shared yet." Aqua said however, she doesn't feel the need to mess with or be aggressive with J, for now it sees the Dragon Gems and J had a common goal when if comes to this Hell Mafia group.

"Why are you being so serious?!" Gatomon yells out.

"All I managed to gather was that their main hub of activity is in Beacon…That's all I have." J tells her. Aqua thinking about recounts back to the first time she went to Central street and was approached by that mafia looking thug, could he have been a part of this group, no way to know for sure but I makes sense. "You have two weeks." J added. "Once that has passed, I'll submit all the evidence I have to the police troopers and to the school. I hope you don't let me down…" She then heads to the door back into the school and leaves.

"She really had the upper hand in that exchange…" Gatomon said coming out of the bag.

"'Don't let me down'…Bite me, she was just bossing us around…" Uzi said annoyed.

"Come on, we should get in touch with Zane." Gatomon said.

Aqua gets on her phone.

We then come back to the present, Aqua was sipping a drink to help with her thirst all while Windblade, Jacob and Jess look at her in shock.

"The student council president…from Citadel Academy?" Jess said in shock.

"Are you saying that J was sticking her nose into this phantom thief buisness?" Windblade asked in shock.

"You never noticed?" Aqua asked the three of them.

The three of them didn't answer Windblade was always busy and the two Law Troopers were more observant but found themselves mostly sticking close to Windblade.

"Why would J…" Windblade said to herself.

"Bring up Windblade's sister to upset us, are you? It seems there's no limit to your duplicity." Jacob said annoyed.

Windblade checks the time and said "Fine. I'll listen to everything you have to say before I decide the truth of your statements."

"Alright." Aqua said nodding and gets back to recounting her story.

We come back to the past where the Dragon Gems were gathers at their hideout and finished filling Zane in on the details of J's offer.

"Urgh…I'm so mad!" Alexis said annoyed.

"A hell mafia? Hm…" Zane said thinking.

"Can we really do this?" Alexis asked everyone.

Uzi sighs as she was looking through her phone. Gatomon then said "Either way, we have almost no information on our target. This guy's a crime boss, so I wouldn't be surprised if he had a Palace. Still…"

"Isn't this a prime opportunity for us though?" Zane points out.

"How?! We're in huge trouble!" Alexis asked not seeing a bright side to this.

"Even after we punished an evil man who seemed to be good, the public did not acknowledge us." Zane explained. "However, if we take down an actual criminal, let along a target the police troopers don't have answers for…"

"Oh, right! That might make people believe in us!" Alexis said finally getting it.

"I get it!" Uzi said smiling standing up "That means even Vrak will have to acknowledge us as the Phantom Thieves!" She looks to Aqua "What do you say, Leader?"

"This is our chance." Aqua said smiling.

"Heck yeah! We just got to do what we always do!" Uzi said excited.

"Our time limit is two weeks, correct? We can't afford to waste too much time." Zane points out. "…I'll ask around Ninjago and see if there are any victims."

"Okay, I know some girls who go to Beacon pretty often. I'll check with them about it." Alexis said.

"All right, and I'm going to see what I can find on the net." Uzi said with a smile. She then looks to Aqua "That leaves our school up to you and Gatomon. You figured out what to do during the whole Gaston thing, right?"

"I did don't worry" Aqua said

"I'll back you up." Gatomon told Aqua.

"All right, let's get back together at the end of the week once we've got all our info!" Uzi said nodding. "I'll get in touch with you guys later!"

They disperse and Gatomon says to Aqua "We're meeting in front of the school tomorrow, right? Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find something new!"

"Could I have a moment?" Zane asked approaching Aqua.

"What's up Zane?" Aqua asked.

"Well, its'…" Zane said awkwardly "I had a yearning to see the 'Julian'…So if you're heading homeward, I'll accompany you."

"Sure, let's go." Aqua said nodding.

They arrive in LeBlanc and Zane sits in the booth in front of the painting and looks at it.

"Ah, the 'Julian'…It seems to suit this café quite well." Zane said smiling "I'm glad I chose to leave it here." He sighs sadly and said "Aqua…I fear I have found myself in quite a horrible mess!"

"What are you talking about?" Aqua asked surprised

"To put it bluntly, I am in need of your assistance…Please, listen to what I must say." Zane tells her "Throughout my artistic career, there have been moments I've struggled with particular motifs or techniques…However, each of those struggles did eventually fade. Yet now I find myself in a similar situation…but the more I try to escape it, the worse it becomes. It seems I am trapped in what we in the art world call a 'slump'…"

"Are you aware that I am attending Ninjago on an art scholarship?" Zane asked "Such coveted grants are not given as charity. I must continually achieve within my field to remain eligible…Were I to lose my scholarship…I would likely have no choice but to leave the school as well. In the earlier days of my career, I would exclusively paint what I desired, when I desired it. The only goal I had in mind was the pursuit of pure beauty…That goal is what drove me onward."

"I wanted nothing more than to attain the lustrous allure of the 'Julian' in my own work…" Zane continued and sighs "Yet what reason do I have now? Holding on to my scholarship? Keeping a roof over my head? Worldly desires are all that spur my brush to move…and the resulting work reflects such impurity of mind. To be honest, I am unsure as to whether I can even call myself an artist anymore…"

"You're so tough on yourself." Aqua notes.

"…My apologies. It seems I got somewhat carried away there." Zane admits. "But…I simply cannot accept this lack of purpose in my work. That is why I am so upset with my down indecision. Such vague ambition is, in essence, a sin of sorts…" He shakes his head "Through I suppose allowing my young career to come to an end here would be even more sinful. I only wish to create a work I can be genially proud of…Aqua. Just look at the 'Julian.' His incandescent figure, warm gaze…That is the meaning of pure beauty!"

"Yet no matter how hard I try to replicate it, an elegance so sweet remains elusive to me!" Zane said sighing. "Why is that, you ask? It is surely before the painter behind the work differs…Because the soul differs! But if my estimations are correct, the 'soul' is nothing but another way to speak of the human heart. What, then is the heart? How does it bring forth such beauty? I must understand!"

Zane thinks and adds "To be perfectly fank through…I am unsure of how to do so. Aqua…Would you be able to provide me assistance? You have already brough profound change to my world. Hence, I believe you of all people may be able to bring me closer to the truth."

"I'd be glad to help." Aqua said smiling

"You would?! Wonderful." Zane said the nindroid smiling. "At the moment, my art teacher has yet to notice any drastic changes in my work…But I cannot hide forever. Impurity of the heart will undoubtfully seep onto an artist's canvas eventually." He thinks then checks the time "I must go now. My curfew approaches. I look forward to speaking about this matter again."

Aqua walked with Zane to the station to see him off.

Aqua arrives back to LeBlanc and Vito who was at the café counter sighs and said "I hate the rain…It always brings me down."

Aqua's phone dings with a message and goes to look at it to see it was the Dragon Gems group chat with Uzi saying "So I checked online, and people are talking about all over. Now, in my expert opinion, Denki of class 2-D is guilty.

"You mean the same Denki from our class?" Alexis asked. "Wait, start at the beginning. What's he guilty of?"

"Supposedly he's been spending money left and right recently." Uzi explained "Said it's cause of some great part-time job he got."

"I see." Zane said "That may very well be worth looking into."

"Right?" Uzi said in agreement. "Can you try asking him about it, Alexis? I don't think he'd be cautious around a human girl that doesn't have Aqua's level of rumours."

"In that case, yeah. I don't mind giving it a try." Alexis said "Although I've rarely talked to Denki before…I'll be counting on you to back me up if something happens, Aqua."

"Leave it to me" Aqua messages.

"Thanks, that's a huge help." Alexis said to that.

Aqua sees Leo sitting in his usual booth and goes to him. Leo nods to her and said "I was watching television and came across a discussion about the nature of justice. Have you ever given it any thought? What is 'justice' to you?"

"I feel it is about helping people." Aqua said thinking.

"I see. That's one way to look at it, but you only perceive what is on the very surface." Leo said nodding "The alien former prince who was featured in that TV discussion is still in high school. Vrak, was it? He was well-spoken and skilled in the art of debate almost as good as I was at that age."

"I see." Aqua said.

"Well, I best be going home then. See you soon." Leo said getting up and hands Vito his empty cup and leaves.
