The Kagami residence looks like a normal and everyday house, of course that's just what others might think without knowing anything about the Kagami clan.
Inside the house in some dark room with the only lights being from a computer, someone appears typing on it while moving the mouse.
That someone is actually Fuuka Kagami, who has been on her personal computer looking for something.
That's when the lights suddenly turn on, revealing the room to be some kind of office, and the one that turned the lights on was Setsuna.
"You seriously need to stop this habit of using the office with the lights off sis." Setsuna said.
"I just forgot to turn them on whenever I'm working, that's all." Fuuka replies as she continues whatever she's doing. "Anyway, is there something you need?"
"Just checking on what you're doing, that's all." Setsuna said "Although there is a reason why I came here, you probably know what I mean." He said as he walk towards her.
"It's about what we saw yesterday, correct?" Fuuka asks, with Setsuna nodding at that and a brief flashback shows the previous night, where the siblings saw a trail of flames on the sky. "With some research I managed to find out what exactly was that, here." Fuuka opens a page on the computer, showing files of many Yokais as she clicks onto one, revealing it to be about Kagutsuchi.
"Oh, now that's interesting." Setsuna said, very interested about this Yokai.
"Kagutsuchi, also known by another name Hinokagutsuchi, in legends it was said he was born burning the goddess Izanami, and the god Izanagi cut him into eight pieces that became eight volcanoes." Fuuka explains about the origin of the name.
"So we got ourselves a fire Yokai huh?" Setsuna said as he stares at the image of the Yokai "And I guess this is one of those that manage to escape the sealing?"
"It's safe to assume that, the research I did show that Kagutsuchi was a very powerful Yokai years ago, considering the Yokais weren't that very organized, he could very well be one of the generals if they were."
Setsuna stared at the Yokai's image, analyzing every bit of it before a smile appeared on his face.
"Well it's good to know about the Yokais we are facing before engaging with them." Setsuna said before looking at Fuuka "Genius as always my dear sister."
"Just doing my work as always, we need to be prepared for everything no matter what." Fuuka remarks.
"Yes we need." Setsuna said, then grabs both his Ninja Driver and Scroll then walks to the door. "Like you said, we need to be prepared, and I'm bringing this in case I bump into any Yokai, and if those two will be there as well."
"Be careful, we can't underestimate them." Fuuka said, with Setsuna just waving her goodbye and leaving the room, she sighs before returning her attention to her computer.
Meanwhile in some unknown location, though it looks like it's some abandoned building, Danzo and Gashadokuro enter inside of it.
"Do we really need to come here to discuss things? My apartment is better than this crap!" Gashadokuro complains.
"Believe me, I'd rather not go to your home considering how you treat it." Danzo said.
"Ah shut up." Gashadokuro snaps at him "Either way, why are we here again?"
"We came here to talk with Shuten Douji, to inform him about our recent encounter with Kagutsuchi." Danzo said, the two then enter a room that has mystic purple energy flying around it.
Danzo sits on the ground, crosses his legs as he begins to concentrate. Gashadokuro notices the purple energy moving to a specific spot on the ground.
From there, the energy forms into a semi-humanoid figure, only showing the upper half of its body.
The figure in front was the equivalent of the Yokai's leader in a way, Shuten Douji, his appearance being hard to see due to only appearing as a transparent being, but it's possible to see that he possesses horns on his head, and appears to be wearing a sort of body armor.
Shuten Douji opens his eyes as he's summoned and stares at both Danzo and Gashadokuro.
"Hey boss!" Gashadokuro waves at him.
"We meet again Shuten Douji, still not back to full strength I'm assuming?" Danzo asks.
"Unfortunately no, even after the seal was broken, due to the thousand years I spent there, my body is not back to its prime" Shuten Doji said.
"I am deeply sorry about this." Danzo said, bowing to the Yokai.
"Spare me your pity, what did you come here for?" Shuten Doji said, crossing his arms waiting for their response.
"We tracked down Kagutsuchi in order to seal him inside the scroll, however we have failed." Danzo said before bowing again.
"We had the bastard right where we wanted, but he escaped and went off somewhere else. Sorry boss." Gashadokuro said as he rubs the back of his head.
Shuten Douji simply sighed in annoyance at this failure, but retain his composure to not lose his cool.
"I do not accept failures, but I'm patient to give another chance." Shuten Douji said "Now, you better capture him this time, or else there will be consequences." Despite his calm tone, there was anger in his voice.
"Don't worry boss, we have a plan on how to catch toasty!" Gashadokuro said.
"Indeed we have, no need to worry about it." Danzo said.
"I hope I made myself clear then, and again, I don't accept failures." Shuten Douji said before disappearing as the purple energy covered the room once again.
"You heard him Gashadokuro, we cannot fail this time." Danzo said as he and Gashadokuro leave the building.
"I know that, and good thing we already have a plan on how to deal with him!" Gashadokuro said.
"Indeed, just leave the dirty work to those Ninjas so we can be the ones to get all the credit at the end." Danzo said.
Somewhere else, Hyuuga and Tsubaki sneezed at the same time.
"Why did we suddenly sneeze?" Hyuuga asks.
"Someone was probably talking about us." Tsubaki answers.
"Then they better not be talking bad about us." Hyuuga said "Anyway, thanks for helping out with the groceries."
"No problem, I had nothing better to do, so I decided to help you." Tsubaki said before putting her thumb and index finger between her chin as she look at Hyuuga with a grin on her face "After all, I get to experience the tasty food of Master Chief Hyuuga Yasakani!"
"I knew you were just doing it for the food." Hyuuga said in a deadpan tone.
"Hey at least I'm honest about it." Tsubaki said before giggling.
"Right…." Hyuuga said "You better not try to get free food by going to my house all the time."
"Whaaaat? I would never do that, that's crazy!" Tsubaki said in a sarcastic tone as she turns her head around with a grin.
"Why you little….!" Hyuuga glares at Tsubaki, who laughs before running forward "Hey get back here!" He runs after her, laughing as well knowing she's just teasing him like always.
The two then run for a while, Hyuuga pursuing Tsubaki who is having fun with the chance, until she suddenly stops, causing Hyuuga to bump into her.
"Hey don't stop without warning!" Hyuuga shouts, he notices that Tsubaki is quiet "Kusanagi? Why aren't you saying anything?"
"Because of that!" Tsubaki points to something in the sky, Hyuuga looks to see where she's pointing and his eyes widen.
Other people also stop to see the thing in the sky, a trail of fire flying on the sky and falling in front of them, causing an explosion on impact as the people start to run in fear.
"Of course today couldn't be a normal day!" Hyuuga shouts in annoyance.
From the smoke of the explosion emerges a figure, revealing itself to be the Yokai Kagutsuchi.
"A Yokai!" Tsubaki shouts.
"And I can tell something is different from this one." Hyuuga said.
Kagutsuchi turns his head around, looking at where he landed before spotting Hyuuga and Tsubaki.
"I'm surprised to see that you two didn't run like the rest of others, you have guts I'll say." Kagutsuchi said.
"If he talks, then that means…."
"How many Yokais manage to escape being sealed?!" Hyuuga shouts.
"You know what I am, which means that…." Kagutsuchi creates a fireball and tosses at the two, causing an explosion on impact and from the explosion, the duo jump from them, wearing their respective ninja uniforms as they land on both sides of Kagutsuchi "You are Ninjas!"
"You seriously picked a bad time to start your rampage, you know that?!" Hyuuga shouts then points at Kagutsuchi "You won't get away with this!"
"Is our duty as Ninjas to stop the Yokais." Tsubaki said before entering a battle pose "Prepare yourself!"
"Interesting, very well then!" Kagutsuchi said "If you don't fear the power of my flames, then bring it on!" Kagutsuchi shouts as he clenches his fist and his eyes briefly glow.
The duo charge at the Yokai as they leap and prepare for a flying kick, but suddenly, Kagutsuchi releases a large amount of flames from his body that causes the duo to stop their attack and backflip back to their positions.
"What's the matter, are my flames that terrifying?" Kagutsuchi taunts them.
"We are not stupid to go on the attack without any protection first, right Kusanagi?" Hyuuga said as Tsubaki nods her head.
"We aren't just any Ninja." Tsubaki said as she and Hyuuga pull their Ninja Drivers and put them on their waists.
"What?" Kagutsuchi said in a confused tone.
"We are Ninjas, but also…." Hyuuga said as he and Tsubaki pull and press the button of their scrolls.
[Hebi!]
[Cho!]
"We are Kamen Riders!" Hyuuga said before the two insert the scrolls on their drivers.
The large scrolls appear behind them, they perform their respective transformation poses before spinning the cornua. "Henshin!"
[Henshin no Jutsu!]
The scrolls open as the serpent and butterfly come out of them, the latter tackles Kagutsuchi and the former does the same before they merge with their users as the armor is formed, turning them into their Rider forms.
"Orochi…. Has arrived!" Orochi introduces himself.
"Tsurugi…. Here I come!" Tsurugi introduces herself.
"Orochi? Tsurugi?" Kagutsuchi looks around as he sees the two Riders before chuckling "I see, so you two must be the Riders I've been hearing about huh?"
"We really are famous huh?" Orochi said.
"Then you probably understand it's best not to underestimate us." Tsurugi said as she got into a fighting pose.
Orochi and Tsurugi both charge towards Kagutsuchi, who releases a large amount of flames towards both Riders, they manage to avoid them, with Orochi attacking the Yokai with a punch, but he catches the Rider's fist before it could hit him.
This proves to be a distraction as Tsurugi attacks with a roundhouse kick, using the blade on her ankle to slash Kagutsuchi's back as sparks fly from the impact.
Kagutsuchi hisses from the attack, causing him to let go of Orochi who takes this chance to hit him with a punch, it connects and he continues with another punch.
Before Orochi could continue his attack, Kagutsuchi launches a wave of fire that knocks Orochi away as he screams from the attack.
"Yasakani!" Tsurugi shouts.
"Oh don't worry." Kagutsuchi said as he turns around and grabs Tsurugi by the neck "I have some for you too." He chuckles evilly before tossing Tsurugi behind him and firing a sphere of flames at point-blank that explodes on impact and sends Tsurugi away as well, crashing near Orochi.
"Kusanagi! Now you've done it!" Orochi said as he gets up and rushes towards Kagutsuchi.
The Yokai releases a wave of flames at him, though this time, Orochi manages to dodge by sliding on the ground, he puts his hands on the ground and extends forward to kick Kagutsuchi with both feet, landing a hit that knocks the Yokai backwards.
"Nice one!" Tsurugi said as she gets up and stands by Orochi's side, the two assume a fighting pose and charge at Kagutsuchi again.
Tsurugi delivers a horizontal karate chop, Orochi follows-up with a roundhouse kick, then he turns backwards to deliver a back kick at the Yokai's torso, Tsurugi then uses Orochi's back to leap forward for a flying kick.
Kagutsuchi rolls on the ground from that last hit as he gets up and suddenly starts laughing.
"What's so funny?" Orochi asks.
"Oh I'm sorry, it's just been so long since I had this much fun!" Kagutsuchi answers the question as his body starts releasing more flames "I always wanted to face someone equal or close to me, my blood is boiling, and I won't stop until I'm satisfied!"
Kagutsuchi screams as the flames start spinning in the form of a vortex, Orochi stands in front of Tsurugi as he creates a shield of magatamas to try and protect them from the vortex, but to no avail as they are caught by it and tossed away with an explosion.
The duo rolls on the ground as they try to get up, but are injured from the previous attack.
"Dammit, too strong!" Orochi said.
"Come on, is this the best you can do?" Kagutsuchi said in a disappointed tone "What a shame, I really wanted more out of you two." Kagutsuchi said as he creates a fireball on his hand "But you two will have to die now." He said before tossing the fireball at them.
As the fireball approaches, suddenly a small green tornado appears in front of the two, sending the fireball back at Kagutsuchi, who swings his arm, deflecting the fireball behind him as it explodes.
"It seems you two are having some trouble, mind if I cut in?" A voice comes out of the tornado.
"Wait, that voice…." Orochi said.
"And this wind…." Tsurugi said.
The tornado disappears and from it, comes Setsuna Kagami.
"S-Setsuna!" Orochi shouts in surprise.
"Hello Hyuuga, hello Tsubaki." Setsuna greets the duo "Don't worry, I've come here to help." He said with a smile on his face.
"Not exactly fond of you calling me by my first name." Tsurugi said.
"We can discuss this later, I have a Yokai to defeat." Setsuna said confidently.
"You seem confident, but that confidence will be your undoing." Kagutsuchi said in a threatening tone, Setsuna simply chuckles at that.
"You know, threats are like promises…." Setsuna said as he pulls a Ninja Driver.
"A Ninja Driver?!" Tsurugi shouts.
Setsuna puts on his Ninja Driver.
[Ninja Driver!]
"You can't promise something if you don't intend to do it." Setsuna said as he pulls the Kitsune Scroll and presses its cornua.
[Kitsune!]
He then inserts it on the slot of the Driver, a large scroll appears behind Setsuna, this one had whirlwinds and several mirrors form a ring around him, with Setsuna's reflection being shown in said mirrors.
Setsuna rotates his right arm as it gets close to his face, then he snaps his fingers.
"Henshin." He said in a calm voice before spinning the cornua of his scroll.
[Henshin no Jutsu]
The large scroll opens and from it, a green fox made of wind comes out as it runs around Setsuna, creating a small wind vortex as it and the mirror come crashing on him.
[Kazenoyoni, Kitsune!]
Setsuna's body is now covered in a black bodysuit, gaining green armor around his shoulders, forearms, knee pads and boots, his arms are covered in a silver material similar to the pattern of some ninja outfits and he has white gloves. One interesting aspect of the suit is its reflective appearance, resembling mirrors. He has a white scar around his neck, the helmet has fox-like ears, black eyes and a shuriken pattern on the mask.
"The Ninja of the wind…. Gensou." Gensou introduces himself.
"Gensou?" Orochi said.
"A third Rider?!" Kagutsuchi shouts in a surprises tone.
"Now, you two rest for a while, because it's my time to shine." Gensou said.
Gensou begins walking towards Kagutsuchi, who creates a fireball and tosses it at him. Gensou chuckles and suddenly, he rushes past the fireball as a green wind blur.
"What the?!" Kagutsuchi shouts as he fires a barrage of small fireballs, Gensou however, easily dodges them before suddenly vanishing. "Where did he go?"
"Right behind you." Gensou reappears behind Kagutsuchi, who turns around and is met with a wind-powered kick that causes sparks to fly from his body.
Gensou flicks his wrist as he delivers another kick, then follows-up by jumping and kicking Kagutsuchi twice, with the second kick causing Gensou to backflip as he lands.
"Eat this!" Kagutsuchi roars as he releases a powerful stream of flames.
"Oh my." Gensou said, then he puts his hand in front of him and a spiraling wind appears, acting as a shield to protect from the flames.
"What?!" Kagutsuchi shouts as the flames are dissipated by the wind.
Gensou then grabs the spiraling wind as it transforms into his personal weapon.
[Kyofu Shuriken!]
The Kyofu Shuriken, as the name implies, it's a large four star shuriken colored in both green and light green.
Gensou spin and tosses the shuriken forward, the weapon accumulates wind as it flies, making it sharp around each of its edges, Kagutsuchi sees it coming and dodges.
"I said your confidence would be your undoing." He said as he prepares to attack.
"You know, it's not exactly a good idea to think you've won just yet." Gensou said very confidently while folding his arms.
And he was right, the shuriken turns back and strikes Kagutsuchi on the back, sparks fly from the impact as he grunts in pain and Gensou grabs the shuriken.
He tosses it again and uses his speed to disappear, the shuriken strikes Kagutsuchi and Gensou grabs it, tossing it Kagutsuchi and repeating this pattern many times.
"He's so fast." Tsurugi said, impressed at Gensou's speed.
"I can't even keep up with his movements!" Orochi said.
The barrage of attacks ends with Kagutsuchi falling on one knee and Gensou resting the shuriken on his shoulder.
"So, what was that about my confidence being my undoing?" Gensou said with a cocky tone.
"I must retreat for now, we'll meet again another time." Kagutsuchi said as he surrounds himself in a vortex of flames and flies away.
"And I will be ready for you again Yokai." Gensou said before walking towards Orochi and Tsurugi "No need to thank me for saving your lives."
"Wasn't planning on saying that anyway." Tsurugi said as she and Orochi remove their scrolls, canceling the transformation.
"Like I said, no need to thank me." Gensou said as he closes his scroll and removes it, the armor vanishing like the wind.
"I didn't know you were a Kamen Rider." Hyuuga said.
"Yeah, why are you a Kamen Rider?" Tsubaki asks.
"Well, you can thank my awesome sister for this." Setsuna explains.
"Should've known your sister was behind this." Tsubaki said.
"She's quite the technology genius, being able to develop this Driver." He said as he shows his Ninja Driver "And this scroll right here." He shows the Kitsune scroll.
"I would ask how exactly she managed to make the Driver, but honestly it feels kinda pointless." Tsubaki said before sighing in annoyance.
"Well, I'll be on my way then, adieu!" Setsuna said as he begin to walk away.
"Setsuna wait!" Hyuuga shouts, causing Setsuna to stop in place " Do you perhaps have some information about this Yokai?"
"Oh Kagutsuchi you mean? Well I do have, but… " He looks behind his shoulder "Can you trust what I have to say?"
Hyuuga was about to say something, but no words came from his mouth as he didn't know if he could actually trust Setsuna or not after their last encounter.
"It's alright, I already know the answer." Setsuna said before waving goodbye and walked away.
"Guess I'm still unable to put some trust in him, not that can be helped of course." Hyuuga said. "Either way, let's just find our stuff and get home."
"Uhhh, Yasakani?" Tsubaki pokes his shoulder.
"What?" Hyuuga turns around as Tsubaki points to something that causes his eyes to widen.
The bag of groceries had been burned from Kagutsuchi's attack.
"NOOOOOO!" Hyuuga shouts as he runs to the destroyed groceries and falls on his knees. "Our groceries…. They were innocent."
….
….
….
….
"We could just go buy-"
"Not now Kusanagi! I must grieve." Hyuuga interrupts Tsubaki to continue mourning the destroyed groceries.
Tsubaki stared at him for a few seconds before walking away "I'm gonna go wait at the store."
Some time has passed as the duo, who have bought replacements, have arrived home.
"I'm home."
"You're late!" Haruki suddenly kicks Hyuuga in the face, causing him to fall and drop the groceries, but Tsubaki quickly grabs them. "You sure have some nerves entering this household at this hour!" He then sees Tsubaki "Oh hello!"
"Hey…." Tsubaki waves awkwardly "I'm just gonna go over there." She walks away before the chaos can start.
"Alright stay as long as you like!" Haruki said.
"What the hell old man?!" Hyuuga shouts and gets up right in front of his father's face "Can't you greet someone like a normal person?!"
"You arrived late at this hour! Are you trying to interrupt the flow of our home?!" Haruki asks.
"The only flow being interrupted it's minding my business!" Hyuuga shouts.
The two begin one of their typical childish fights, mostly flailing their arms to try and hit each other while the rest of the family, including Tsubaki, just watch.
"So why did you two arrive this late anyway?" Mika asks Tsubaki, who starts sweating.
"Uh, well….." Tsubaki tries to think of an excuse since Hyuuga's family doesn't know that they fight against the Yokai "We just couldn't find the right stuff we needed you know?" She laughs nervously.
Mika and Riku stare at Tsubaki, who is sweating even harder and with an awkward smile on her face.
"Right…. Eh whatever, at least you bought food, so it's fine." Mika said.
"Glad that we resolved this." Tsubaki said as she wipes her forehead. "Hey Yasakani, I think you should start cooking!"
"I'm on it!" Hyuuga, who is sitting on top of Haruki, who is on the floor knocked out, gets up as he grabs the stuff they bought and goes to the kitchen to prepare the food.
Meanwhile with Setsuna, he arrives at his home and uses his key to open the door.
"I'm home."
"Welcome home brother." Fuuka, who is reading a book while sitting on the couch of the living room, greets him "So I assume you encounter the Kagutsuchi Yokai?"
"Indeed I did sis, and also gave a hand to those two as well." Setsuna said, Fuuka knowing he's referring to Hyuuga and Tsubaki. "I'm gonna go take a nap until he returns, wake me up when that happens." He said before walking to his room.
"Rest well brother, you will need it." Fuuka said as she closes her book, gets up from the couch and walks back to the office to continue another research she's doing. "Now, where were we?" Fuuka is looking at information about several ninja clans, each clan being represented by their animal symbol, such as the Yasakani clan's symbol being a serpent, the Kusanagi's a butterfly and the Kagami's a fox.
Fuuka searches for one specific clan, the clan Murakami, their animal symbol being a Deer and clicks on the icon, opening a tab that shows the history behind them.
"Oh, now that's interesting." She reads through the information and spots a certain name: Danzo Murakami "Well well, looks like this one has an interesting biography."
Back at the Yasakani house, the family, plus Tsubaki, have finished eating some food made by Hyuuga.
"Oh man, I'm full!" Riku said. "Your food is good like always, big bro!"
"Of course it is, it was made by me after all!" Hyuuga said in an arrogant tone.
"Don't praise him too much, it won't be good for his ego." Tsubaki whispers to Riku.
"Hey, what did you say to him?" Hyuuga asks curious as to what Tsubaki said to Riku.
"Sorry, but it's a secret." Tsubaki said in a smug tone as she giggles.
"You better not be saying anything that could be a bad influence to him!" Hyuuga said.
"Don't need to, you're already a bad influence on him." Tsubaki said with a grin on her face.
"Oh I'll show you a bad influence." Hyuuga gets out of his chair, Tsubaki giggles and jumps from her chair as she runs from him.
"Get her big bro!" Riku cheers for Hyuuga.
"Yes yes, get her." Mika meanwhile, is recording the chase scene.
"Hey hey you two, I don't think it's a good idea to run around the house like that." Haruki said as he tries to stop the chase.
"Stay out of this old man!" Hyuuga shouts as he jumps to try and catch Tsubaki, but she dodges and he crashes on the ground.
Tsubaki laughs at this, but suddenly she trips, revealed to be Hyuuga who has grabbed her leg. He's smiling evilly and leaps onto her, the two engaging in a childish fight.
"Wow, you two fight and bicker like a married couple." Mika said, this causes Hyuuga and Tsubaki to stop their fight as they look at each other and blush for a moment.
"WHAT?!" The two shout at the same time and get up.
"No way, no way, there's no way in hell I would be married to her!" Hyuuga shouts while pointing at Tsubaki.
"I say the same, who wanna get married to someone like you?!" Tsubaki shouts.
"Hey, for your information, I would make an awesome husband!" Hyuuga shouts back.
"Oh please, we all know someone would need to be crazy enough to marry you and have to deal with your short temper." Tsubaki said.
"Yeah like I'm the only one with issues!" Hyuuga shouts.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Tsubaki snarls at him.
"You know damn well what I mean!" Hyuuga snaps back at her.
The two growl at each other before turning their backs on each other, Tsubaki folding her arms and Hyuuga doing the same.
"Oh geez these two…" Haruki rubs his head nervously "Why don't you two go get some fresh air to calm down a bit?"
"Yeah, maybe we will." Tsubaki said as she looks with one eye at Hyuuga.
"It's a good idea old man!" Hyuuga does the same and the two leave the house.
"Man, those two, they remind me a lot of your mother." Haruki said.
"Wait really? Did you and mommy fight before?" Riku asks with curiosity.
"Oh you have no idea son, the best way to describe our relationship prior to getting together is almost a reverse of those two." Haruki said.
"You're kidding, mom was like Hyuuga?" Mika asks.
"Yeah, she was ferocious like him, would immediately jump to any fight and was very impulsive, guess you know who got it from her." Haruki said before laughing.
Meanwhile with Hyuuga and Tsubaki, the duo are walking around the city not paying any attention to each other.
"Nice weather right?" Hyuuga asks.
"Yes indeed, it is nice weather today." Tsubaki answers him.
The two continue to ignore each other, but then stop as they make eye contact and start laughing.
"Oh man this is so silly." Hyuuga said.
"You've said it, I can't stay mad at you forever, I gotta get used to that anger of yours." Tsubaki said in a smug tone.
"You really like making fun of my anger issues huh?" Hyuuga asks in a dead-panned tone.
"Maybe I do, got some problem with that?" Tsubaki asks with a grin on her face.
"Well I do, because making fun of my anger will make me more angry." Hyuuga said as he approaches Tsubaki.
"Oh really?" Tsubaki said.
"Incoming!" A voice catches their attention and they see a fireball flying towards them, this time they leap backwards to avoid the attack.
The duo see Kagutsuchi descending from above and landing in front of them.
"Looks like toasty is back for another round!" Hyuuga shouts.
"And we are ready for it!" Tsubaki shouts as well.
"Mind if I join the fun too?" Setsuna appears and joins the duo.
"Setsuna?" Hyuuga said.
"Oh good, all three together, now things can get more interesting." Kagutsuchi said.
"Fine, I guess your help will be necessary." Tsubaki said as she puts on her Ninja Driver.
"Glad to see you're agreeing to this." Setsuna said as he puts on his Ninja Driver.
"Oh man, I should be excited for the fact we are fighting together, but that feeling isn't here right now." Hyuuga said as he puts on his Ninja Driver.
The trio pull their respective scrolls, press their buttons and insert them on their Ninja Drivers.
[Hebi!]
[Cho!]
[Kitsune!]
The large elemental scrolls appear behind them and each of them perform their respective transformation pose.
"Henshin!" All three shout at the same time and spin the cornua of their scrolls.
[Henshin no Jutsu!]
The scroll opens as their respective animals come out of them and merge with their users.
[Moero, Hebi!]
[Hyouketsu, Cho!]
[Kazenoyoni, Kitsune!]
The trio transform into Kamen Rider Orochi, Tsurugi and Gensou.
"Orochi… Has arrived!" Orochi introduces himself.
"Tsurugi…. Here I come." Tsurugi introduces herself.
"Gensou…. Is here." Gensou introduces himself.
Kagutsuchi shoots three fireballs at the trio, but they simply deflect it behind themselves as they explode, the trio summon their respective weapons and rush forward to fight against the Yokai.
Orochi swings the Hebi Dual Blade at Kagutsuchi, he blocks with his arm and kicks Orochi, he fires a fireball at him, he manages to dodge and swings his sword, this time managing to hit Kagutsuchi and slashes again.
Energy shots hit Kagutsuchi and he sees the culprit being Tsurugi, who is using the Cho Katana in Rifle Mode. Kagutsuchi fires a stream of flames at Tsurugi, fortunately Gensou appears in front of her and spins the Kyofu Shuriken to block the attack.
"No need to thank me." Gensou said.
"I wasn't gonna anyway." Tsurugi said.
"Oh well." The flames disappear and Gensou throws the shuriken.
Kagutsuchi dodges and launches a wave of flames to try to stop it, though the shuriken cuts through it and strikes him, sparks flying from the impact.
Orochi sees an opening and enhances the blade of his weapon with flames then delivers a fiery slash at Kagutsuchi, who is pushed backwards from the attack.
"Not so thought now that we are kicking your ass huh?" Orochi mocks Kagutsuchi as he continues the slashes and goes for another, however, he's stopped by Kagutsuchi roaring and releasing a vortex of flames, with the ninja being pushed away.
"Don't think for a second that just because you have numbers means you will win this." Kagutsuchi said as he concentrates the flames into his right fist "You will witness my power now. My flames are much stronger than yours, Orochi!" Kagutsuchi shouts and releases a powerful stream of flames.
Orochi manages to dodge the attack, though the stream continues its path towards Tsurugi and Gensou.
"Look out!" Gensou shouts and pushes Tsurugi, being hit by flames as he screams in pain.
"Setsuna!" Orochi shouts his name.
The flames start to engulf Gensou and it seems everything is over for him, that is until suddenly, his body breaks into several shards of glass.
"What?" Tsurugi said.
"W-What just happened?" Orochi blinks his eyes under his helmet confused at what he saw.
"He broke apart? How is that possible?!" Kagutsuchi questions.
"Oh you simple minded fool." Gensou's voice is heard and from above, the green ninja performs a vertical slash with the shuriken at Kagutsuchi, sparks flying from the impact, then kicks him away "It was just an illusion, the specialty of my clan after all."
"Should've known you wouldn't die that easily." Tsurugi said as she and Orochi approach.
"Hey what can I say? It's not that easy to get rid of me." Gensou said.
"I hate the fact that you are correct." Tsurugi said as she groans.
"I think we should focus on the walking fire over there!" Orochi shouts and points to Kagutsuchi.
"You will pay for this ninja!" Kagutsuchi said with anger in his voice.
"He's right, and this is the perfect time to test this out." Gensou said as he pulls the Kumo Scroll, black in color with the image of a spider.
"The Kumo Scroll!" Tsurugi shouts.
"And it's purified?" Orochi said.
"You can thank my sis for this, oh and I got a present for you both." Gensou said as he pulls two Seal Scrolls and gives them to them.
The Scroll that Orochi is holding is orange in color and has the image of a tiger, the Tora Scroll, and the Scroll that Tsurugi is holding is red in color and has the image of a rabbit, the Usagi Scroll.
"Wow, new scrolls!" Orochi said in a surprised tone.
"How did you get your hands into these two?" Tsurugi asks.
"The ninjas at the Shinobi Temple weren't the only ones that managed to find the scrolls that got scattered." Gensou said as he closes and removes the Kitsune Scroll, then presses the button of the Kumo Scroll.
[Kumo!]
"Come on Kusanagi, let's test these new toys out!" Orochi said.
"Sure why not?" Tsurugi replies, the two close and remove their scrolls, then press the button of the Tora and Usagi Scrolls.
[Tora!]
[Usagi!]
The trio insert the new scrolls onto their Drivers, larger versions of the scrolls appear behind them and they spin the cornua, showing the images of a fiery tiger, a freezing rabbit and a spider surrounded by wind.
[Henshin no Jutsu]
The large scrolls open and the animals come out of them, the tiger roars and the rabbit jumps a few times, then the three go to merge with their respective users.
[Yasei no Hantā, Tora!]
[Yozora no Janpā, Usagi!]
[Hachi-shi no Torikkusutā, Kumo!]
Orochi's suit has gained a Tiger motif and its color becomes orange, he gains black marks around his body, the bandage design resembles a tiger's tail, the gloves and boots change appearance to resemble that of a tiger's pawn, including sharp claws, an image of a tiger on the chest and the helmet become tiger-like with red eyes.
Tsurugi's suit has gained a Rabbit motif and its color becomes orange, the most prominent aspect of this form are springs on the forearms and legs, there's an image of a rabbit on her chest with crossing swords, and the helmet gain a pair of rabbit ears with the eyes becoming white.
Gensou's suit has gained a Spider motif and its color becomes black, he gains web-like design around the suit especially the arms and torso, a spider emblem on the helmet with four spider-like legs wrapped around his waist, the visor of the helmet gains a spider symbol as well and the eyes become blue.
"Wow, this is so awesome!" Orochi said as he takes a lot at his claws.
"I feel a lot lighter in this form, even more than Hakuchou." Tsurugi said as she analyzes her new form.
"I already imagined you two would like this new form, they are quite fitting if I do say so myself." Gensou said.
"It doesn't matter if you change form, you won't defeat me!" Kagutsuchi said.
"You shouldn't assume victory just now dude, you might get disappointed later." Orochi said.
"We will show you the power of ninjas!" Tsurugi shouts.
Orochi leaps forward and rushes towards Kagutsuchi, now walking on four legs like a Tiger, the Yokai shoots fireballs at him, however Orochi manages to dodge them but zig-zagging around then leaps forward and delivers a punch at Kagutsuchi, then lands with both hands on the ground, using them to spin and kick Kagutsuchi a few times.
Kagutsuchi grabs Orochi by the leg before he could continue his attack, then lifts him and tosses him away.
Due to being distracted with Orochi, he's suddenly attacked by an extending punch that hits him, the culprit being Tsurugi.
Kagutsuchi shoots fireballs at her, Tsurugi however, uses the springs on her legs to jump high in the air upwards to dodge the fireballs.
She flips in the air and extends her legs to kick Kagutsuchi, hitting the Yokai with both and pushing him away.
Gensou takes this opportunity to perform some hand signs.
"Wind Ninpo: Wind Shot." The spider legs detach themselves from Gensou's waist and they fire wind projectiles at Kagutsuchi, who tries to protect himself but to no avail and is pushed even further by the projectile.
"Payback time!" Orochi once again runs like a tiger as he uses the claws to scratch Kagutsuchi, Tsurugi jumping forward as she punches the Yokai.
Kagutsuchi raises his arm to try and attack them, but suddenly strings of webs wrap themselves around his arm.
"What the?!" Kagutsuchi shouts.
"Sorry, but I can't allow you to do that." Gensou said, holding the webs that he shot from his wrists.
"Like this will stop me." Kagutsuchi said as he pulls his arm, which in turn pulls Gensou forward and the Yokai punches him on the stomach, sending him rolling towards Orochi and Tsurugi.
"Are you okay?" Orochi asks.
"I'm fine, but we have to end this quickly, otherwise things will get uglier." Gensou remarks.
"Then leave this to us, right Kusanagi?" Orochi asks.
"Sure, and because I'm in a good mood, the final hit is yours." Tsurugi said.
The duo stand in front of Gensou and they spin the cornua of their scrolls once again, showing Kanji for "Killer Technique" and they perform a few hand signs.
[Tora!/ Usagi! Hissatsu no Jutsu!]
"Super Ice Ninpo: Rabbit's Gatling Gun!" Tsurugi's fists are surrounded by red icy energy and she extends her arms, delivering a barrage of fast punches on Kagutsuchi. "Now Yasakani!"
"Alright! Taste my Super Fire Ninpo: Tiger's Hunt!" Orochi leaps in the air as his claws ignite in flames and he spins so fast he becomes a fiery buzzsaw that flies towards Kagutsuchi.
Tsurugi pulls her arms away and Orochi strikes the Yokai, who uses his flames to block him.
"I already told you, my flames are stronger than yours!" Kagutsuchi shouts.
"And I don't care which of our fire power is stronger, you're going down Kagutsuchi!" Orochi yells loudly and manages to strike Kagutsuchi, sending him away.
"Good work, now…" Gensou, who has changed back to his Kitsune Form, walks pass the two as he puts his hands on his scroll's cornua "The grand finale." He spins the cornua, the Kanji for "Killer Technique" appears and he performs some hand signs.
As Kagutsuchi tries to stand up, he's surrounded by several mirrors and in each of them, a reflection of Gensou appears.
"Super Wind Ninpo: Dance of the Illusion Fox!" By saying those words, the reflections from inside the mirror come out and use their speed to strike Kagutsuchi from all directions.
[Kitsune! Hissatsu no Jutsu!]
The mirrors then shatter as the real Gensou appears performing a flying kick with his foot enhanced by wind energy, striking Kagutsuchi and leaping backwards.
"The illusion that you call life has come to an end." Gensou said as Kagutsuchi yells before exploding.
"Hell yeah! Take that you stupid Yokai!" Orochi shouts as he and Tsurugi high five each other, the trio then cancel their transformations.
"I'm not… Done yet!" The moment is cut very short as Kagutsuchi's voice can be heard from the explosion, and indeed it does, as he appears alive.
"What the?!" Tsubaki shouts.
"Oh my, it seems he survived that." Setsuna said in a calm tone.
"How can you be calm about this?!" Hyuuga questions him.
"It's my speciality." Setsuna said.
"It's not over yet, I won't stop until I'm dead!" Kagutsuchi said as he prepares to attack, until suddenly, a large sword impales through his chest. "W-What?"
"Sorry man, but you dying isn't exactly good for us." The culprit behind this is Gashadokuro, who is holding his sword.
"Gashadokuro!" Hyuuga shouts.
"You bastard…!" Kagutsuchi said.
"Nothing personal, just following orders from the big boss." Gashadokuro said as he removes the sword and Kagutsuchi puts his hand on his chest as he turns around weakly.
"Big boss? Why would Shuten-Douji order this?!" Kagutsuchi demands to know the reason.
"I think you already know based on our last encounter." Gashadokuro then concentrates as his sword glow in green energy "Death of Life" He delivers a powerful slash on Kagutsuchi, his body explodes but his soul is absorbed into Gashadokuro's sword.
"He…. He destroyed his own comrade's body?" Tsubaki said in a shocked tone.
"I never considered him a comrade, in fact I don't give a crap about him." Gashadokuro said.
"You heartless monster!" Hyuuga shouts.
"I'll take that as a compliment." Gashadokuro said in a mocking tone.
Someone else approaches and it's revealed to be Danzo.
"Who is that guy?" Hyuuga asks.
"I have no clue." Tsubaki shakes her head.
"You got his soul?" Danzo asks Gashadokuro.
"Right here, there you go." Gashadokuro said.
"Excellent." Danzo then pulls the blank scroll as Gashadokuro transfers Kagutsuchi's soul inside it, the scroll glows in a bright light and it's changed, its appearance changing a bit with the scroll gaining a symbol that resembles magma.
"He sealed the Yokai in that scroll?!" Tsubaki shouts.
"Wait what?" Hyuuga questions what she said.
"There are scrolls that can be used to seal Yokais, but they require a complex sealing technique." Setsuna explains.
"Sealing technique? Wait, then that means…." Tsubaki puts the pieces together.
"It's exactly as you think, Kusanagi." Fuuka appears walking with her arms folded. "That man right there is Danzo Murakami, member of the Murakami clan, and responsible for our current situation."
Hyuuga and Tsurugi's eyes widen and they gasp at this revelation.
"You're the one that broke the seal?!" Hyuuga shouts.
"Indeed I was, it was me who broke the seal and released the Yokais, and it's because of this that I managed to obtain the ultimate power!" Danzo said as he raises the scroll that contains Kagutsuchi while laughing.
"But…. Why would you do this?! Why would you, a Ninja, break the seal and release the Yokais?!" Tsubaki shouts, questioning Danzo's reasoning.
"You Ninjas are such fools." Danzo said "Do not worry, you are very lucky."
"Lucky? What are you talking about?" Setsuna asks.
"This scroll right here has the sealed soul of a Yokai, I can feel that he's still conscious here, and so, I will require the need of putting him under my control, so that I may utilize his full power." Danzo explains "You soon shall taste the full power of me, Danzo Murakami, the one who shall obtain the ultimate power of the Shinobi Scroll!" Danzo laughs as he and Gashadokuro vanish.
The group stares at where Danzo and Kagutsuchi were, processing what just happened.
"He wants to obtain the Shinobi Scroll?" Tsubaki said.
"Why did he release the Yokai? I don't get it, what would he benefit from doing this?!" Hyuuga questions.
"Sometimes the answer can be really simple, maybe he wanted power, maybe he wanted to prove something, who knows?" Setsuna said "What's important right now is that we are going to face a very tough battle from this day onwards."
"My brother is right, it doesn't matter what his reasons are, if he wants to fight us, we'll do it, simple as that." Fuuka said.
"But still…" Hyuuga said.
"It's pointless to try using logic, and like I said, it doesn't matter his reasons." Fuuka said as she and Setsuna walk away.
"Yasakani…." Hyuuga's face turns to her "We have to prepare ourselves when he returns, because I get the feeling that this won't be like our previous battles." Tsubaki said.
"... You're right, but I still can't comprehend why he did it." Hyuuga complains.
"Neither do I, but we can't let this cause unnecessary stress, right now, we have to get ready." Tsubaki said to try and comfort Hyuuga, who nods at her and the two look to the bright blue sky.
At the abandoned building where Shuten-Douji resides, Danzo is holding the scroll with both hands as he stares at it.
"Finally, I will have the ultimate power right in my hands once I'm done with this!" He laughs. "Just you wait Ninjas, I will show you my power, the power of the strongest clan there is!"
"Well well… Guess I might have some fun after all." Gashadokuro said.
