Entei leaped down from its perch with a resounding thud, its crimson eyes narrowing on Kara, who stood her ground with a wide grin, her fists clenched in anticipation. The Legendary's fiery mane flickered ominously as it let out a low, warning growl, its intent clear.

Kara smirked, flexing her fingers. "You've got spirit, I'll give you that. Let's see if you've got the strength to back it up."

Before either could act, Morty hurriedly stepped between them, his arms raised in a calming gesture. "Entei, please! There's no need for this. We're not here to harm you!" he pleaded.

Entei's eyes didn't waver, its body tense as if ready to strike. Without warning, it unleashed a powerful Flamethrower directly at Morty. The fiery torrent lit up the night, sending festival-goers into panic.

"Morty, look out!" Ash shouted, tackling the Gym Leader out of harm's way just in time. The flames scorched the ground where Morty had stood, leaving behind a blackened scorch mark.

Kara wasted no time. "You're mine now," she muttered, launching herself forward with a speed that left onlookers gasping. Her fist, glowing faintly with raw energy, rocketed toward Entei. The Legendary Pokémon evaded her punch, the sheer force of her swing causing a shockwave that rattled nearby decorations.

Eusine, still processing the surreal sight, stared with his jaw agape. "Is she… fighting Entei? And she's flying? What in the world is happening?!"

Morty, scrambling to his feet, looked equally baffled. "Ash, what is going on here? Who is she?"

Ash groaned, running a hand through his hair as he helped Morty up. "I told you—it's a long story! Just… try to stay back for now!"

Meanwhile, Kara hovered in mid-air, her eyes locked on Entei. The Legendary let out a defiant roar, fire building in its mouth. Kara dodged its next Flamethrower with ease, diving toward Entei at an angle that forced it to sidestep. The ground cracked beneath its weight as it landed.

"Not bad, creature," Kara taunted from above, her smirk widening. "But let's see if you can handle this!"

In a blur of motion, Kara rocketed toward Entei, her speed almost impossible to track. She slammed into it with an immense force, sending the massive Legendary crashing into a festival stand, wood and decorations scattering in all directions. Screams erupted as people fled in every direction, the festival now in chaos.

Ash winced, shouting up at her, "Kara! Be careful! You're scaring everyone!"

Entei rose from the debris, shaking off the impact. Its mane flared brighter as it let out another deafening roar, the sheer intensity sending a shiver through the air. Kara landed lightly a few feet away, cracking her knuckles as she grinned.

"Now this is what I call a challenge."

Entei realized it needed a quick escape from this relentless adversary. With a fierce growl, it unleashed a powerful Fire Blast, the blazing symbol racing toward Kara at full strength. She crossed her arms and braced herself, skidding back slightly as the scorching flames enveloped her. But as the smoke cleared, she smirked, completely unharmed.

"That's all you got?" she taunted.

However, as she looked around, her grin faltered.

Entei was gone.

Gritting her teeth in frustration, Kara clenched her fists and shot down to the ground, punching it with all her might. The impact sent a shockwave through the earth, creating a massive crater where she landed. Dust and debris shot up, and the ground shook beneath everyone's feet.

"Kara!" Ash shouted, jogging over with Pikachu in tow. "What were you thinking? You didn't need to go that far!"

Kara scoffed, crossing her arms defensively. "The creature ran off. It's hardly my fault it's so weak."

Eusine, watching the spectacle with a mixture of awe and humor, let out a small chuckle. "Well, explaining this to Officer Jenny should be… interesting." He gave Morty a knowing look.

Morty sighed deeply, rubbing his temples. "You have no idea," he muttered, studying the sheer scale of the damage left behind by Kara's outburst. "Ash, who is she? And where did she come from?"

Ash hesitated, scratching the back of his head. "Uh… it's complicated. Let's just say she's… not from around here."

Eusine, still marveling at the crater, shook his head in disbelief. "Well, if that Entei didn't get the message, it's got to know now that you don't mess with this one." He gave Kara a nod of acknowledgment, but she merely huffed, still annoyed with Entei's escape.

Morty took a deep breath, finally managing a small smile. "Guess we'll just have to keep an eye out for Entei. Hopefully, next time it shows up, it'll be a bit more peaceful."

Kara simply rolled her eyes, muttering, "As if I'd waste more time on a cowardly creature."

Officer Jenny stood amidst the chaos, surveying the crater and scorched earth left from last night's scuffle. Her expression was one of pure disbelief as she tried to wrap her head around Morty and Eusine's explanation.

"So let me get this straight..." She turned to Morty and Eusine, her gaze skeptical as she motioned over her shoulder at Kara, who was currently receiving a not-so-subtle lecture from Ash. "You're saying she was the one fighting Entei? Flying around and… punching the ground?"

Both men nodded earnestly, though Morty offered a sheepish smile while Eusine adjusted his collar, clearly amused.

"Yes," Morty said, trying to keep a straight face despite the absurdity. "She really was in the air, throwing punches, and gave Entei a real challenge."

Jenny folded her arms, narrowing her eyes at them. "You don't seriously expect me to believe that, do you?"

Morty and Eusine exchanged glances before offering mutual shrugs.

Jenny let out a deep sigh, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Great. So now I have a mystery woman who can 'fly and punch craters in the ground' to deal with," she muttered. "This is the last thing I need."

Ash, overhearing, quickly stepped in with Pikachu at his side. "Officer Jenny, I know it sounds crazy, but Kara really is that strong! She just… doesn't know her own strength sometimes."

Pikachu chimed in with a nod. "Pika!"

Jenny's gaze shifted to Kara, who crossed her arms with an unbothered look as she noticed Jenny's scrutiny. "What?" she muttered.

Jenny shook her head, looking back at Ash. "I'll take your word for it, Ash. But keep her under control, okay? I'd rather not have to explain another crater in the middle of the city."

Ash nodded, offering her a reassuring smile. "I'll do my best, Officer."

Kara scoffed, flicking a stray piece of dirt from her armor. "If anything, that creature should apologize for wasting my time."

Morty stifled a grin, while Eusine chuckled. Jenny simply shook her head, muttering, "I really need a vacation."

As the sun rose higher, casting a warm glow over the city, Ash, Pikachu, and Kara prepared to take their leave, exchanging goodbyes with Morty and Eusine near the outskirts.

"Good luck, Ash," Morty said, clapping a hand on his shoulder. "And… try to keep her out of trouble, will you?" He grinned teasingly, casting a quick glance at Kara, who shot him a glare sharp enough to pierce steel.

"Thanks, Morty," Ash laughed, scratching the back of his head. "I'll try my best!"

Meanwhile, Eusine leaned over to Ash and, in a conspiratorial whisper, asked, "Hey, think you could get Kara's number for me?"

Ash raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised, while Morty gave Eusine a look that was somewhere between amused and incredulous. "Seriously?" Ash murmured. "I mean, uh… I don't know if that's such a good idea…"

"What?" Eusine replied, flashing a grin. "She's cute!"

Kara's eyes narrowed, and she let out an exasperated sigh. "You idiots do realize I can hear every word you're mumbling, right?"

Eusine's face flushed, and Morty couldn't help but snicker, patting him on the shoulder. "Busted," he teased with a smirk. "Better luck next time, Casanova."

Eusine tried to recover, offering Kara an awkward smile. "W-Well, maybe if you're ever free…"

But Kara waved him off with a dismissive scoff. "Not a chance." She gave him a pointed look before turning to Ash. "Are we done here?"

Ash nodded, chuckling as he and Pikachu gave one last wave. "Yeah, let's go. Thanks again, Morty! Eusine!"

As Kara soared through the sky, her speed impressive but measured for once, Ash and Pikachu held onto her as they enjoyed the brief moment of calm. Below them, Morty and Eusine watched in stunned silence as the two figures ascended into the sky.

"Man, Ash is really lucky," Eusine murmured, still looking up. He seemed lost in thought, but Morty raised an eyebrow at his friend's comment.

"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Morty asked, genuinely puzzled.

Eusine shifted his gaze from the sky to Morty, a grin tugging at his lips. "Well, Ash might not notice it yet, but I think that strange girl is starting to grow on him."

Morty blinked, then chuckled in amusement. "Are you just saying that because she rejected you, old friend?"

Eusine's eyes narrowed at Morty's teasing. "Shut up."

"Hey, I'm just saying," Morty laughed, shaking his head. "Can't blame you for trying. But it's hard not to notice she's a bit... difficult."

Meanwhile, Kara was flying ahead, her thoughts more focused. As she cruised through the air, something unexpected interrupted her concentration—a sharp beep from her communicator. She glanced at it, narrowing her eyes before abruptly halting mid-flight, throwing Ash and Pikachu off balance for a moment.

"Whoa!" Ash yelped as he tightened his grip, his heart racing from the sudden stop.

Kara didn't say a word. Her expression shifted to one of urgency as she pointed toward the ground below. "Hold on tight," she muttered before swooping down sharply, heading toward an open space nearby.

Once they landed on the ground, Ash was still processing the sudden change in direction. He adjusted himself as he glanced at Kara, who now seemed tense and focused on something. "What's going on, Kara?" he asked, curiosity in his voice.

Kara glanced back at Ash and Pikachu, her face a mask of concentration. "Something came up. I have to take care of it for a minute." Without further explanation, she dashed off swiftly, leaving Ash and Pikachu behind, standing there bewildered.

Ash scratched his head, glancing at Pikachu. "What was that about? Is she always this mysterious?"

Pikachu tilted his head, also perplexed.

Once Kara was far enough away from Ash and Pikachu, she slowed her pace and brought herself to a stop. Her expression hardened as she pulled out a small, sleek communication device from her armor. With a deep breath, she answered the call, her tone shifting to something far more serious.

"Fa—I mean, mentor, I'm here," she said, her voice steady despite the growing tension in her chest.

On the other end of the call, Brainac's voice was filled with frustration, the deep, mechanical tone carrying an edge of annoyance. "Kara," he began, his words slow and deliberate, as if carefully choosing how to scold her. "I've been monitoring your progress, and frankly, I'm disappointed."

Kara flinched at his words, but she quickly composed herself. "I—I know I haven't been able to conquer this world yet, but give me more time. I'm getting closer, I swear," she pleaded, trying to maintain a level of professionalism despite her unease.

Brainac's tone didn't soften. "Time? Time is something you've had far too much of. Every failure, every mistake you've made, has delayed the inevitable." There was a long pause before he continued, his voice cold and final. "I will be reaching the Pokémon world myself, Kara. No more excuses. No more waiting."

Kara's eyes widened in shock, her breath catching in her throat. "Wait... You can't—!" she stammered, horrified by the implication. "You said you would leave this to me!"

"I did, but your inability to meet my expectations has forced my hand," Brainac responded with grim resolve. "I will deal with this personally. Don't get your hopes up, though. I'll be taking my time getting there."

Kara clenched her fists, the fear and frustration bubbling inside her. "I won't fail... I can still do this! Please, give me another chance," she insisted, her voice a mix of desperation and defiance.

Brainac's tone remained unyielding. "You've had more than enough chances, Kara. The world I sent you to will be under my control—whether you succeed or not. It's over."

The call ended abruptly, leaving Kara standing alone in the silence of the area. Her hands were shaking as the weight of Brainac's words sank in.

"No..." she muttered to herself. "I won't let it end like this. I have to prove myself... for both me and Ash."
