Yami Sukehiro Vs Dante Zongratis
"…..I don't know." The Devil known as Lucifero responded after a few seconds of being silent.
"If there is a high-ranking Devil in the human world, then it would be Zagred, even if it was through the help of those Megid beings. But that Devil isn't him. With the simple power of nullification, then he would simply be low-ranking Devil. Especially with not a single drop of Mana." Lucifero explained, making Dante raise an eye-brow.
"Really? I thought a power called anti-magic would have caught your attention." Dante commented, something that cause Lucifero to become annoyed.
"Anyway. He's really no match for us then. Not for the Dark Triad who possess the powers of high-ranking Devils." Dante thought before "returning" to the outside world, whilst musing over the thought of bringing the sword-wielding Devil back so that Megicula can….."examine" him, before lifting large amounts of earth right out the ground.
"What's he planning on doing?" The sword-wielding Devil wondered as he glanced at the floating pieces of earth.
It was at that moment that Dante sent one of the floating pieces of earth straight towards the sword-wielding Devil.
In response, the sword-wielding Devil gathered Anti-Mana around his sword, causing it to become enlarge, before swinging it, easily destroying the incoming piece of earth before heading straight towards Dante, using the homing method he used earlier.
Back with the three Black Bull Magic Knights, Vanessa stared at the battle with a tense expression on her face.
"Why is that Devil helping us? Whose side is he on?" Vanessa wondered whilst gaining a foreboding feeling.
"Right now though, we just have to count on him in keeping that creep busy until reinforcement arrive…..." Vanessa thought again before turning her attention towards Gauche.
"This is awful! He won't last much longer! We seriously need a healing Mage, now!" Vanessa thought, biting her lips in frustration.
"Gauche…..Gauche….. I couldn't do a thing….." Grey muttered as a tears started to form in her eyes.
"Transformation is useless!" Grey thought, starting to feel hopeless.
Back with the fight, the sword-wielding Devil is still chasing after Dante.
"Come back here, Bastard!" The sword-wielding Devil shouted in annoyance.
"And why should I do that? You're just a lowly Devil." Dante responded in a calm tone of voice.
"However, I must admit that you're doing well in keeping up with me, but…." Dante began to say whilst transforming some of the large pieces of earth into massive swords.
"I end this now." Dante said before sending the swords flying straight towards the sword-wielding Devil, who just happened to be in the middle.
"This is bad!" The sword-wielding Devil exclaimed in his head before starting to spin whilst releasing the anti-Mana that is covering his sword, resulting in him being covered in a black hurricane.
"Good grief. You're still not giving up…" Dante muttered as he observe the black hurricane before seeing a black arc of anti-Mana heading straight towards him.
"No matter what you do, it's useless." Dante said as he used "his" gravity magic to move out of the way.
However, when he got of the arc of Anti-Mana's path, the sword-wielding Devil himself suddenly shot out of the black hurricane at a fast speed, quickly approaching Dante.
"He's fast! But how did he even managed to know where I would appear, this Devil doesn't possess any Man-!" Dante began to say, but was cut off from his thoughts when the sword-wielding Devil swing his sword and managed to make a small cut appear on the side of his cheek.
"…" Dante became silent as he brought up a hand to his wound and felt blood.
"How dare you mark me." Dante said in a cold tone of voice.
"What? You don't like getting cut?" The sword-wielding Devil questioned with a small smirk on his face.
"For someone who is the host of that Devil, you sure are touchy when it comes to receiving damage." The sword-welding Devil commented.
The comment caused Dante to become angry.
"I didn't want to dirty my hand for a vulgar like you, but….it can't be helped." Dante thought before activating "his" magic.
"Gravity Magic: Heavy In-fight." Dante announced before throwing a punch towards the sword-wielding Devil, the punch being enhanced with gravity magic.
"Gah!" The sword-wielding Devil exclaimed as he got punched.
"For now, with my fists….I feel like knocking you out!" Dante said with a cruel smile on his face before continuing to punch the sword-wielding Devil.
Back on the ground, Grey started to become more and more worried.
"Gauche, you probably didn't noticed, but to me who I have nothing….you gave me a light on. As I desperately lived on...then I met you again. I got a comrade like a family who I can really trust." Grey thought as images of her past flashed through her mind.
"I want to save Gauche. And….it is embarrassing but….I want you to look at me more, a stronger me." Grey thought before activating her magic.
"Grey….?!" Vanessa thought before becoming wide eyed.
"She closed the wound?! No….this magic is…." Vanessa thought as she saw how the deep wound on Gauche's chest is now healed(?)
"Grey...you…." Vanessa began to say before trailing off and then hearing sensing something hitting the ground, causing the Black Bull thread Mage to turn her head towards the direction of the sound and saw the sword-wielding Devil laying on the ground, completely injured.
"Hahahaha. Excellent! To know that there were other Arcane Stage Mages." Dante commented as he land on the ground.
"A power that is such a waste just to leave it here….both of you….be my woman." Dante said, gaining a creepy expression on his face.
Before anything else can happen, a black slash appeared across the ground, causing Dante to fly back into the air.
"Hey." A voice said, causing Dante to glance towards the source of the voice and saw Yami along with Finral, Kenzan and Espada with the captain of the Black Bulls standing on the sword-woman of lighting's gold carpet.
"Don't you dare lay a hand on any member of my squad." Yami said in a serious toe of voice.
"Captain!" Both Vanessa and Grey shouted in relieved tones of voice.
"That spell….I see. So you're Yami Sukehiro." Dante said in a calm tone of voice as he looked up at Yami.
"Those two armoured humans…..they possess Holy Swords…." Lucifero commented recognizing the Mana that he's sensing.
"What happened here!? This is awful!" Espada thought as she and the others saw the injured Gauche and…..
"Is that a Devil down there?" Kenzan questioned as she spotted the horns of the sword-wielding Devil.
"A Devil?!" Espada and Finral exclaimed in their heads at the same time as they spotted the sword-wielding Devil as well.
With Yami however, his attention is focused on Dante.
"And it looks like you're a Spade Devil host. Can't say I care. Whoever you are or wherever you're from…...you're dead meat." Yami said with an angry expression on his face.
"Hehe. Excellent malice, but…." Dante began to say whilst raising a hand.
"Nobody looks down on me. Gravity Magic: Presence of the Demon King." Dante announced, increasing the gravity of the area.
"Gah! We're falling!" Finral exclaimed as he and the others started to plummet towards the ground.
Yami quickly grabbed the other three before crashing onto the ground.
"Oh? You're not grovelling not bad at al-" Dante began to say but stop when he notice something.
"I leaned some stuff of the past six months, see. I guess I'll give it a test drive." Yami muttered before activating his new spell.
"Mana-Zone+Black Hole. Dark Magic: Black Moon." Yami announced, him and the other three now standing within a dome of Mana with a black orb set above them.
"It's erasing my spell…..within his territory! So this is dark magic, hm." Dante thought, becoming surprise as he saw how the gravity magic isn't being effected within the dome of Mana.
"You three get over to those guys." Yami spoke as he kick Finral Espada and Kenzan into a spatial portal, created by Finral.
"All right. Then I'll send an ultra-fast rock your way….and try to nail you with inertia." Dante said as he lifted a piece of rock off the ground before sending it flying straight towards Yami.
"Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash." Yami announced before swinging his katana, cutting the rock in two…..along with a warped area of space.
"He slashed space apart?!" Dante thought in a surprised tone of voice as he appeared some distance away, him having dodged Yami's attack.
"Hehe. I see. I'd expect no less from an Arcane Stage. That's what we're looking for. Gravity Magic: Heavy Infighting Gladiator." Dante announced as he used one of the cut pieces of rock to create a sword before lunging towards Yami.
"He's fast!" Yami thought as he quickly backed away from the sword swing from Dante before throwing his own sword attack, but the Devil host of Lucifero dodged the attack.
"He used Mana-Zone to launch himself off thin air and right into a counter-attack." Dante thought as the two of them continued to fight.
"I'm reacting to his moves before he makes them using Mana-Zone and reading his Ki. This guy can use gravity magic to control the speed of his sword strikes to." Yami noted as the two of them continued to fight.
"Ha Ha! Very good, Yami Sukehiro!" Dante exclaimed with a wide smile on his face.
"It kinda sounds like you know me. What are you, a stalker?" Yami questioned as he blocked an incoming sword attack.
"That's right. You're what I'm after." Dante responded.
"Huh?! Being popular with the dudes like you doesn't make me happy at all!" Yami shouted, a scowl appearing on his face.
"You are the key that links this world…..with the underworld." Dante said, causing Yami to become surprise.
"The underworld?! Quit with the crazy talk, stalker!" Yami said, becoming more annoyed.
"It's a shame though. Who'd thought Yami Sukehiro would be such a vulgar, shabby fellow?" Dante questioned in a slight disappointed tone of voice.
"What was that, punk?!" Yami demanded angrily.
"How did like a man like you acquire so many people with such unique magic? It's the first time I've ever been jealous of a human! Thank you….for this new malice." Dante said, gaining a smile on his face.
"But your Arcane Stages are already mine! From now on, they'll be with me, serving my ends." Dante continued to explain as he suddenly started to move around the captain of the Black Bulls in a quick fasion.
"What a creep." Donna and Rin thought at the same.
"Arcane Stages? Serve your ends…? What are you talking about? I just let those guys into the Black Bulls….because I liked them." Yami said as he began to sheathe his katana.
"Mana-Zone: Condense." Yami thought as he began to condense the surrounding Mana.
"I'm not giving up a single one of them…." Yami began to say before suddenly spinning around unsheathing his katana, immediately striking Dante.
"To a creep like you. Dark Cloaked Iai Slash." Yami said in a calm tone of voice.
This cause everyone to become relieved and from where he is watching, still lying on the ground, the sword-wielding Devil has a small smirk on his face.
"Kekekeke. That dark magic user managed to cut down the host of Lucifero. I don't want to be in his shoes the next time he speaks to that Devil." The sword-wielding Devil thought in amusement.
"When Mana-Zone is condensed, the Mana's thicker. Iai quick-draw techniques inside of it never misses." Yami explained in a calm tone of voice.
With Dante, instead of falling onto the ground, he began to laugh.
"Bwah Hahahahaha! Who'd would have thought I'd have to use this magic!" Dante said as he turned around and everyone saw how the wound Yami inflicted on him started to heal.
"What?! That's a different power that he has been using!" Donna said with widened eyes.
"He's a Devil host, so that must be his own magic…?" Vanessa explained before noticing something.
"Rin? What are you doing?" Donna asked as she saw how the wielder of Hayate is dragging the sword-wielding Devil towards them.
"What? I'm just bringing him over here, he's badly injured." Rin responded, becoming confused.
"I don't think that's the main issue…." Finral muttered, not sure on what to make of the sword-wielding Devil.
"He's been helping us." Vanessa spoke, causing the two Sword of Logos Magic Knights and Finral to stare at the Black Bull thread Mage.
"Before you four arrived, he was fighting that guy, using a power to nullify his magic, anti-magic." Vanessa explained, causing Donna and Rin to become wide eyed as an image of Falchion briefly appeared on their heads.
"The name's Liebe by the way." The now known Liebe introduced himself.
"Hi there! I'm Rin, she's Donna and he's Finral. What's with your sword?" Rin asked before asking as she notice how the shape of Liebe's sword has a similar shape to what Saber, Blades, and Espada use.
"This sword is called Demon Rache. if your curious about the shape of the sword, then I have no idea." Liebe explained, causing everyone to sweat-drop.
Back with Dante and Yami, Dante's wound has completely healed.
"What is that spell?" Yami thought, becoming tense.
"Envy. Wrath. Hate. I can't get enough of this! Magnificent, Yami Sukehiro!" Dante said with a grin on his face.
"I was bored. Tired of everything. Nothing satisfied my malice. This is it. This is where it starts! Yami Sukehiro. You are going to open up a world that's far more magnificent!" Dante said in an excited tone of voice.
"Quit that, you're creeping me out. Psycho hipster beard." Yami said in a blank tone of voice.
"Good to hear that we're in agreement." Everyone, who are still able to stand, thought at the same time.
"You said I was a key that would link us to the underworld? You've got the wrong number. I don't have a freakish power like that." Yami commented, causing Dante to chuckle slightly.
"What links this world to the underworld? Simply put, it's a magic channel called the tree of Qliphoth. And what's required to create a tree of Qliphoth? Arcane Stage dark magic and world tree magic. That would be you two, Yami Sukehiro and William Vangeance." Dante explained, making Yami perk up slightly.
"This guy knows Vangeance too!" Yami thought before speaking.
"So hypothetically, if this world gets linked to the underworld, what happens?" Yami asked, although a part of him doesn't really want to know the answer.
"Devils will pour in. A world crawling with Devils. A place that will brim over with every sort of malice." Dante said, causing everyone, apart from Liebe, to become become dead frozen.
"I'm really looking forward to this! Aren't you, Yami Sukehiro?!" Dante asked whilst becoming excited.
The captain of the Black Bulls took a deep breath before speaking.
"Figures...looks like I really am gonna have to wipe you out right here." Yami said in a serious tone of voice as he got his katana ready before dashing forwards and striking the Devil host of Lucifero in the same spot.
However, instead of looking like he's in pain, Dante laughed.
"More damage! You're truly magnificent. I do hate this magic, but…..as a special favour…I'll show it you. The true power of a human Devil host!" Dante said before releasing a Demonic aura.
Back with the others, Finral's body started to shake.
"We were scouting the Spade Kingdom to attack them...but how did it turned out like this?!" Finral thought as he attempted to keep calm.
"Should I move to support Yami? Or should I let Donna and Rin go into battle?" Finral thought, looking through his options.
"Devil's power, 80%." Dante announced, releasing his entire Demonic power, causing his appearance to greatly change.
"So 80% is your true power, you line-face half-black guy?" Yami asked as he sensed the Demonic Mana coming off Dante.
"We the Devil possessors share power with the Devil from the underworld. As long as we are trading between the two different worlds, we can't bring out our 100% power unless we open the door to the underworld." Dante explained before starting to build up Mana.
"Gravity Magic: Gravitation Singularity." Dante announced as he create a small black orb.
"If you're alive, there's no problem, I guess I should break one of your legs." Dante commented before throwing the black orb.
Everyone watched as the black orb started to gorged out the earth at a fast pace, with Yami luckily jumping out of the way.
When the captain of the Black Bulls glanced over his shoulder, he saw how a section of a nearby mountain has been completely destroyed.
"What?! That orb damaged a mountain?!" Everyone thought in shock just as Yami lunged towards Dante.
"Dark Magic: Dark Cloacked Dimension Slash!" Yami announced before swinging his darkness-cloaked katana.
However, the attack curved around Dante.
"It twisted the Dimension Slash itself!" Yami thought, a frown starting to appear on his face.
"Maybe I can cancel it out by bumping "Black Moon" against it, but as long as he occupying the gravity, I can't loose "Black Moon". I have to dodge it by condensing by Mana-Zone and using my max sensitivity before going inside it's range." Yami thought, observing Dante.
With the Devil host of Lucifero, he lifted up vast amount of the earth and flung it towards Yami.
"Hold on. It rengerates when I'm gonna cut it in the first place, so it's pointless! It should be like faster and stronger, a powerful blow." Yami thought before seeing a new black orb breaking through the floating pieces of earth and heading straight towards him.
Luckily, Yami managed to dodge the incoming black orb, but he was immediately attacked by shards of rock, which he managed to defend himself against before getting struck by a much smaller black orb.
"Kuh!" Yami grunted as barely managed to avoid getting fully struck.
A shadow suddenly appeared above him, causing the captain of the Black Bulls to look up and saw a giant shard of rock which then suddenly fall on top of him.
"You're really interesting, Yami Sukehiro. For a human." Dante commented with a cruel smile on his face as he and everyone else observe the rock crashing onto the ground.
"Captain Yami!" Everyone, mainly the Magic Knights, shouted in horror.
"Hmm. Surely he survived that…." Dante thought as he attempted to see any movement through the dust.
"….Right here, right now. I'll go beyond my limit." Yami spoke as the dust disappeared, revealing a still standing Yami with "Black Moon" hovering above him.
"I can't even be a leader if I won't surpass in front of the juniors." Yami commented with a smile on his face.
"Did he just called me a "Junior"?" Liebe thought, becoming slightly annoyed.
"Condensed the Mana-Zone more….." The captain of the Black Bulls thought as he condensed the Mana-Zone even further.
"Brilliant, Yami Sukehiro! But you can't defeat m-" Dante began to say, but was interrupted as he suddenly felt his entire body disappearing.
"Dark Magic: Sudden Death." Yami announced with his katana thrust forwards.
"Wha….what?" Dante asked in a stun tone of voice.
"I was trying to do a thrust, but it became like a cannon, huh." Yami commented in calm tone of voice.
And there we have it, Liebe continuing to battle against Dante before getting swapped out with Sukehiro when he, Donna, Rin and Finral. It would seem that Lucifero is well aware of the existance of the Holy Swords. With Liebe's sword, "Rache" means "Revenge", something that seems appropriate for the anti-magic Devil.
In Gavv:
1) Hanto informed Kenzo about how Granutes are able to disguse themselves as humans after his battle against Glotta, yet already known this before explaining how Granutes aren't able to hide their Gavvs, causing Hanto to open Kenzo's shirt, yet show that he doesn't posssess a Gavv. Within Stomach Inc, Lango informed Shita and Jeebh about Glotta's encounter with Valen, yet the twins mistook Hanto for Shoma instead, causing Lango to become annoyed before deciding to fire the twins and then request Nyelv to upgrade the workers to combat Shoma and Hanto.
2) Whilst working at the mansion, Shoma encountered Hanto who informed that he's searching for a missing artist who then went on to stick around before noticing an art dealer getting invited into the mansion. The next day, Shoma and Sachika spotted Hanto before noticing the same art dealer appearing which cause Hanto to reveal his hunch about the art dealer being a Granute.
3) After causing a commotion, the art dealer revealed himself to be Granute Dean, where Shoma/Gavv and Valen fought him, yet are unsuccessful in defeating Granute Dean, supposedly possessing immortality. Instead, Shoma/Gavv discovered that Granute Dean actually possess the ability to create copies of himself before he and Valen properly him.
For this episode, I enjoyed the second segment of the fight where Shoma/Gavv and Valen worked together. So Lango is now aware that Shoma is fighting against Stomach Inc whilst Hanto gained the idea that Kenzo is a Granute himself, but came up with no results.

1) Yeah, some new things are coming due to Noelle's kidnapping and with Liebe, he showed his combat skills in this chapter.
2) Good point, one of Nyelv's Agents even observed one of Soji's coversation with Hanto a few episodes ago.
3) I think that Hanto will be conflicted when he learns Shoma's hybrid nature at first, but when he learns about Shoma's past, which is vaguely similar when it come to their mothers, Hanto will return to normal.
