Crossbell has finally gained its independence. The SSS and all of Crossbell finally have their dreams come true. Suddenly, Rufus Albarea and the newly established Ebon Defense Force attacked and took over Crossbell once more. Three Heroes: Lloyd, Rean, and a mysterious masked man must work together to solve this crisis and free Crossbell together once more with friends all over.

28. Act 4 Lloyd's Route The Dusken Dancer

"It's almost time." Lloyd said, lending his back on the fence with Randy and Aoi next to him.

(Trails to Azure ost - A Barrier to Get Over)

"Sure is." Randy nodded "If we can pull this off, we'll have the main body of the CGF back with us. We'll have a much better chance of liberating the city if we've got them an the police at full force."

"Yeah—That's exactly why the EDF is going to go all out in stopping us. This operation isn't going to be an easy one..."

"We'll pull it off. Whatever it takes. I'd—"

"— stake your life on it?" Lloyd interrupted as Randy turn to him. "We're partners, Randy. I know how you think Pretty sure anyone could if they saw the way you were fighting against the EDF."

"Lloyd..." Aoi rub his arm as he look away.

Lloyd sighed. "You're probably right. I'm sure Noel, Towee, Alear, Seadall, and Macciato have noticed. Heck, even my Pokemon." He look at the sight in front. "The co-supreme leaders and their goons have gone so far over the line, I can't even tell where it was anymore. We've watched them take our home. Dominate the people we care about. Treat everything we know like dirt. They killed you, and even went so far as to kill many of our fellow cops, the CGF, and even go so far to kill us. Heck... I even remember what those EDF sons of a bitches said to Mireille. "Stupid CGF Trash. How noble of you. But on the bright side, you'll die along with that trash, Lloyd, your so-called idiot "hero" and the rest of the SSS. My blood was boiled with rage that day. They took your life... they took our friends' lives... I can't move on until I've killed every one of those bastards. This anger—building up in me out on them. They're gonna live to regret what they've done to us."

"I want you to tell me something. Is it really them? Are they why you're so angry?" Lloyd asked as Randy had an ! over his head. "I've seen that look on you before. It was when you went after the Red Constellation alone for attacking Mainz two years ago. Your anger was like a quiet flame, blistering slowly till it sparked white hot to burn down everything in its path—even if it took you down with it. You were angry at yourself then, and I think you're angry at yourself now. Am I wrong?"

Randy sighed before he let out a light chuckle. "Got me again, huh?"

(Trails into Reverie ost - A PIece of Light)

Randy look at his hands. "I've had to watch people I care about be hurt right before my eyes too many damn times to count. When my friend died 'cause I was an idiot. When the Red Constellation ran rampant right here where we stand... When that cult made Mireille their puppet... When she got shot! Even when those assholes crushed our hope for independence by killing you. Every time, I've been in a position to make a difference—and every time, I've screwed it up! I thought I'd changed after meeting you guys and finding a new home with the SSS... but nah. I'm still the same useless piece of shit I've always been. I can't stand it!"

"Randy..." Aoi sadden

"It's doesn't have to be that way this time. It's not too late to make a difference. I know I've got blood on my hands... but it's a price I'm willing to pay. If we can rescue the commander, if we can get the CGF up and running full force, then we can still take our home back. So yeah, Lloyd. Whatever it takes. If all we need's my life or getting my hands dirty, well... I can work with that."

Lloyd gritted his teeth.

"Like hell, you can!" Lloyd slapped Randy's back.

"?!" Randy flinched.

(Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon ost - Partner's Theme: Music Box)

"I know how you feel, and I know me getting killed shook you. But think back to all the times we've pulled through when the odds were stacked against us. Did we have to dirty our hands to survive the Great Twilight or save Crossbell from the cult? Did we rise high enough to topple Dieter Crois' ambitions by disregarding our own well-being or the feelings of our loved ones? Did we?"

"No, but..." Randy muttered

"But nothing. Trust me—I'm as angry as you are. I hate those who have taken so much from us. I'm furious at myself for not stopping them soon enough. But this isn't it. What you're thinking now isn't how we solve this, nor will it ever be. We'll figure out a solution—as a team—and then we'll make it happen the right way."

Randy blinked.

"I agree with Lloyd, Randy." Aoi nodded in agreement. "Everyone loves you for who you are. Everyone was able to smile because you were there, coming together for the signing ceremony. I'm no exception." He smiled. "I believe everyone can agree with me on this front. Not just from the past couple, either. From way before that, too. Right, guys?"

They turn their head and see Noek Seeker, Alear, Seadall, Machias, Towa, Futaba, Joker, Sting, Rogue, Lecter, Frosch, Tsubaki, Xander, Morgana, Akechi, Daruk, Haru, Ryuji, Yusuke, Ann and Captain Falcon, and Randy's Pokemon: Emboar, Rapidash, Crustle

"Right." Noel Seeker nodded as she smiled.

"Emboar!' Emboar nodded in agreement with Randy's Pokemon.

"The example you've set is what inspires me to pour my heart into my work as an inspector. It's not because I want to repay you. It's also because I sincerely respect your sense of justice. I'll bet anything Rean, Levi, a couple of people I can name would echo my sentiments." Machias smiled

"They absolutely would." Towa smiled. "Randy, you showed the branch campus what it means to be a part of the SSS..."

"Rean and Juna may not be able to be here to agree with us, but if I have to keep repeating myself for you to understand, then I'll do it." Alear smiled

"We're all here for you, Randy. You've given much to everyone. Whatever you'll need to give you a helping hand, just say the word." Emblem Marth smiled.

"Everyone here cares about you, Randy. Please, keep your chin up. We're in this together." Seadall smiled.

"Damn guys..." Randy smiled as he scratch his hair sheepishly. "I don't know what to say."

"We love you, Randy. So you need to be with us to show the co-supreme leaders the SSS way." Lloyd smiled. "We'll make them see that the people of Crossbell have never been ones to give up without a fight." He fist pump to Randy's chest. "The gloves are coming off for this operation—and by the end of it, we WILL have liberated our home!"

Randy chuckled. "Going balls to the walls, hu? I like the sound of that. Sorry for getting down on myself, there. Guess I... lost sight of the big picture again." He sighed. "Get it together, Randy. How're you supposed to be the cool big brother of the gang if they're the ones doing all the pep talks?"

"No one who's actually cool calls themselves that." Noel Seeker said

"Don't sweat it, Randy." Lloyd smiled. "I mean, what else are partners for if not for dragging each other back on the right path when they get lost?"

Randy chuckled. "Well, thanks for letting me lean on you, partner. And the same goes for you guys. We'll kick this off by rescuing our friends at the Moon Temple—and we'll do it without betraying what we stand for. Wouldn't want to get an earful from Mireille as soon as she wakes up."

Lloyd chuckled. "Yeah. She would, too."

Then the two did their handshake.

"Glad to see you guys in good spirits." Akira smiled.

"Yeah, it's a relief to know you guys are a-okay!" Futaba smiled

"Right. With everyone spirits lifted, we can get things started." Morgana smirked.

"Yeah! Let's make this operation a big success!" Panther smirked

"Yeah!" Lloyd and Randy cheered

"Oh, that reminds me." Alear pull out one Emblem Ring and a Bracelet. "I've been meaning to give you one of the rings to help us for awhile."

"The Emblem Ring and Bracelets?" Randy asked

"Ring of the Radiant Hero, and Bracelet of the Strategist." Seadall explain. "I'm already wearing one of the Emblem Rings. The Ring of the Insturctor." He said as Emblem Byleth appeared.

"Hello, there, Randy. Lloyd." Emblem Byleth greeted

"Oh, hey there Byleth. I was wondering where you'll be. Where's Ike and Soren?" Randy asked

Emblem Ike and Soren appeared.

"We're been here the whole time. But haven't said anything." Emblem Ike answered.

"Byleth and Soren actually help us out a lot. So we owe much of protecting Mainz to them." Towa smiled.

"As annoying at how close this place it, it pales in comparison to the Moon Temple." Emblem Soren replied. "But enough with the chit chat."

"Right. It's only a matter of time before the enemy gets the drop on us. Know that our strength is yours." Emblem Ike agreed.

(BGM ended)

"EEEEEEK!" A scream was heard

"H-Hey! You okay there?!" A Man's voice exclaimed as they all their heads and see a wounded CGF member being carried by his wounded Garbodor until they both collapse.

(Trails into Reverie ost - Nightmare to Revive)

"Hey, are they all right?!" Lloyd asked

Fran gasped. "Oh, no... Noey, he's..."

"Yeah." Noel Seeker muttered. "He's from the CGF forces stuck in the Moon Temple."

"What happened?" Randy asked

"The EDF mounted a full-blown assault on us!" The CGF member groaned. They were being led by a woman in this mask, a jester person, a man wearing a suit, and a woman surrounding herself with butterflies. The man has some sort of magic on us... forcing us to our knees... while the woman in the mask keep summoning monsters and wild Ghost Pokemon under her control!"

Everyone had ! over their heads.

"So that Jester is here..." Xander muttered

"As well as she enter the stage..." Seadall muttered

Meanwhile in the Moon Temple...

EDF Soldiers with Walking Wake charging into the Moon Temple as Ilya, Dimentio, and the two mentioned people approaching. Ilya snapped her finger and summon ghostly monsters who roared at them, flew to attack them, only for it to be killed by bullets.

"Ngh... Where did THOSE things come from!?"

"Commander! We can't—"

Two Wild Haunters appeared behind out with claw them with Shadow Claw.

"Aaugh/Gwaaaagh!" Both the CGF screamed in agony

"Marowaak!" A Marowak yelled then glared at the two Ghost Pokemon. "Marawaaaak!" Then it throw Bone Rush at them, only for them to them to dodge and throw Shadow Balls at them.

"Ngh! E-Even while ghost Pokemon?!" A CGF yelled.

"Foolish Guardian Force." A man's voice boomed. "Surrender. And you'll live. Refuse, then die."

"Nngh..." An CGF shivered in fear.

"Retreat inside the temple!' Sonya yelled. "Don't stop firing!'

The Crossbell Guardian Force begin to hurry and go inside the temple as they keep firing at the EDF forces who respond in kind.

"Hmph. So they are willing to die after all." The man said.

"Well, there isn't much hope for them." The red-haired woman let out an innocent smile, but behind was a devil.

Ilya giggled. "Naughty, naughty. It's far too early from the curtain call for you to give up now."

"Indeed!" Dimentio grinned. "The show must go on after all until we reach the final act."

"This is going to be a performance for the ages—one of smoke, blood and steel!"

"Then let us begin this carnival until all resistance are rooted out." The man readied his fingers for a snap.

Back with the heroes...

"Please... You've got to help them..." The CGF member slowly close his eyes and he lost consciousness with his Garboror

"H-Hey!" Ryuji exclaimed.

"They're unconscious! We need to get them medical help!" Ann stated.

"Get Hoopa and escort them to the hospital!" Morgana stated.

"We can handle that!" A voice responds as they turn and see Harold and a couple of miners approaching. "You don't have a moment to waste. Hurry to the temple. Go!"

"Don't even stress about the town! If they come here, they're gonna fell the venom of a Viper!"

(BGM ended)

"Thanks!" Lloyd smiled. "We'll leave this to you, then!"

"Countin' on you!" Randy smirked as the Police and Guardian Force members begin to approach.

(Trails into Reverie ost - Counterattack Signal)

"Wasn't exactly in the plans to start this soon, but we gotta do what we gotta do! hope the rest of you are ready!"

"We'll need to coordinate getting through the tunnel as fast as possible. Remember, the fate of Crossbell hinges on this—so let's show them what we can do!" Lloyd declared.

"Sir!" The Police and CGF saluted.

"All right, let's go kick some EDF asses!" Captain Falcon palm fist.

In the area...

The EDF patrolling with the Helmold near the entrance of the Moon Temple until they spotted the Crossbell Guardian Force along with the police charging in.

"Over there!"

"I had a feeling they would come."

"Oh, Aidios! Why am I on the front lines?!" Pierre complain.

"They need support, Vice Commissioner! Noe let's handle the logistics!" Frn stated.

"You ready for a fight, Raymond?" Donovan asked

"Y-Yes, Chief!" Raymond answered

And thus both sides begin to fight each other as Pokemon facing Pokemon and EDF Soldiers firing bullets along with the CGF and Police forces as both side take shelter.

"Hmph! Did you think you'd sail past us just because you brought some cops to back you up?" The EDF smirked.

"Hold on. Where's Bannings?!"

"No visual on the Red Reaper or that Eastern either."

"Then I would advise you to look up." Aoi responds as Aoi, Excadrill, Serperior, Lloyd, Randy, and Emboar all jump off the cliff as Lloyd takes out the EDF member

"Gah!"

"We're going on ahead." Lloyd said as Alear, Seadall, the Phantom Thieves, Xander, Sabertooth Twin Dragons, Falcon, Daruk, Xander, and Tsubaki.

"Take care of yourself, Fran!" Noel Seeker replied.

"You, too, Noey!" Fran replied.

"Good luck, Lloyd. We're counting on you." Franz said

"Hurry! We'll hold the line here!" Kate replied

"You're not going any—" The EDF Soldier piloting the Zauber Soldot but shot by the tanks. "Gah!"

"Try to attack their attention and pick them off one at a time." The CFD member shout as Lloyd's team take off.

"Let's show them what the Guardian Force can do!"

"Insolent scum." EDF Soldier growled

"Allow us to end you once and for all!"

Lloyd's team made it to the tunnel as the battle began.

"All right, this is where the hard parts begin." Sting crack his knuckles. "But like it matters."

"Right. Let's make our way to the Moon Temple!" Lloyd agreed

"Be on the lookout for those Archaism patrolling further ahead. Now, forward!" Xander command

"Right!" Tsubaki as they keep forward until they spotted a Couple of Archaisms blocking their way.

"Archaism's dead ahead!" Futaba said as she and the Phantom Thieves transformed into their Phantom Thieves outfit.

"I got this!" Sting smirked. "White Dragon Roar!" he fired a beam of white energy and destroy the Archaisms as they spotted a couple of Paradox Pokemon of Iron Boulders, and Raging Bolt who throw Discharge toward them.

"Falcon Kick!" Falcon dive dodge with the group and he dive for aa Falcon Kick and hit one of the Iron Boulders.

"Megidolaon!" Joker and Crow (Akechi) summon their Persona's to throw Megidolaon at the Paradox Pokemon.

"Shadow Dragon Roar!" Rogue fired a black wave from his mouth, knocking the Paradox Pokemon out of their way.

Xander whistle and then his Black Horse appeared from behind and he hopped, readied Siegfried and then he gallop, passing through the Paradox Pokemon and then deal a powerful slash, leaving behind purple slashes on then and knock them out of the way.

"Okay, first: Whoa! So this is the King of Nohr's skills? Wow." Noel Seeker said. "Second, where did that horse come form?"

"I brought my steed with me. If you hail from my world, one would understand the type of fighter I am." Xander replied.

"Never mind that for now. The EDF defenses is even more fortified then we expected." Tsubaki said.

"It's more like we've pushed our way right to their core line. And we'll keep pushing through till we're on the other side." Lloyd replied as they keep going.

"Yeah! This one's for Mirelle! And you hang in there, too, Deputy Commander!" Randy agreed until they heard something large moving.

"Uuhm guys. I think we got company." Skull readied his bat as two Zauber Soldots approached with three EDF and two Iron Bundles and one Iron Hands.

"So those are the new Zauber Soldots." Daruk mused.

"They must have called reinforcements from the city." Fox muttered

"We won't let you reach the temple!" An EDF glared.

"You SSS scum have been a bane for too long! This time we WILL kill you here and now! Your CGF will join you in death!"

"We'll see about that!" Randy glared.

"It's going to take more than a couple of Soldots to stop us!" Machias readied his gun.

"We're in close quarters, but that won't be an issue!" Lloyd said as they took their stand.

"Why am I not surprise they wouldn't fazed." The EDF growled.

"We'll even the odds with our Pokemon and Soldots.

"We'll see about that, buddy!" A voice yelled as Estelle, Mienshao, Joshua, Houndoom, Eula, Beartic, Lynn, Hitomchan, Aeolia, Grumpig, Scott riding his Rapidash came to the rescue as Aeolia throw Wind Arts as her Grumpig throw Psychic on Iron Hands, Lynn punch a couple EDF with Himonchan punching the Iron Bundles, Joshua, Emblem Joshua, Eula, and Estelle. Emblem Estelle, lung toward the Soldots and deal slashes and bash attack through them, causing some explosion on their engines as Mienshao throw Aura Sphere, Beatic throw Icicle Crash, and Houndoom used Fire Blast on the Soldots.

"Gah!" The EDF roared as Estelle, Eula, Joshua and their Pokemon group up with Lloyd's group.

"Are you kidding me?! What the fuck are you bracers doing here?!"

"Estelle! Joshua! And... Emblem Joshua, Emblem Estelle, Eula? How did you know we were here?! Wait, you two have your Emblem selves with you?" Lloyd asked

"Heehee. Sorry we're late." Estelle smiled.

"But yeah, we've been with them since Alear gave them to us awhile back." Emblem Estelle chin in.

"There were a few things we had to take care of first. And we didn't come alone." Joshua smirked as Police Cars and tanks came in.

"Chief! Dudley!" Lloyd yelled

"So you brought reinforcements with you?" Queen asked in surprise.

"Damn, how many reinforcements you got?" Oracle asked

"Yo. Hope we didn't keep you waiting.

"Commence the assault! Open a path for our allies!" Dudley yelled

"Yes, sir!" The Police yelled

"Don't sweat running out of bullets. There's plenty more where that came from!" Ashleigh respond

"Dudley really has friends in high places." Machias mused.

"Ashleith's practically a one-woman army. She's all the backup he needed to bring." Randy said

"Now's our chance, Lloyd!" Estelle said

"Aim for the joints and it'll be down in—"

"I think not you vermin." A voice interrupted Joshua as a powerful blast of magic struck the reinforcements.

"Augh!" Dudley yelled in agony and then the same force was struck toward Lloyd's group but they dodge it in time.

'Ngh! What was that?" Eula growled as the commander of the EDF appeared before the group.

"It's that jackass from earlier!" Randy growled.

"It's just one thing after the other. First we got reinforcements, and NOW we have these Bracers. I am sick and tired of these wretches vermin. You will not be going anywhere. You will stay here and die. I'll make sure you SSS die tenfolds and you Bracers will serve as an example once we sever your heads and destroy your precious guild." The man unleash a powerful battle aura. "You will NEVER rescue those Guardian Force filth in the Moon Temple. Soon, they will be eradicated. And every one of you will join them in hell!" He turn to the EDF piloting the soldot. "You! You will assist me in eradicating these vermin."

"Yes, Sir Sugou!" An EDF Soldot yelled. "For the co-supreme leaders!'

"Grrr! I don't know why but this guy REALLY pisses me off!" Estelle muttered.

"I get the feeling he's one of the most despicable men." Eula said. "Still, we need to get pass him and them."

"Right. Let's go, everyone! We need to defeat this man and rescue everyone at the Moon Temple!" Lloyd yelled

Lloyd form a combat link with Randy, Noel Seeker form a combat link with Aoi, Towa form a combat link with Machias, Estelle form a combat link with Joshua, Eula form a combat link with Tsubaki, Sting form a combat link with Rogue, Joker form a combat link with Morgana, Xander form a combat link with Daruk, Queen form a combat link with Fox, Panther form a combat link with Noir, and Skull form a combat link with Captain Falcon, Alear form a combat link with Seadall, and Joker form a combat link with Akichi and Morgana.

Lloyd form a Pokemon link with Excadrill, Randy form a Pokemon link with Emboar, Noel Seeker form a Pokemon link with Electivire, Aoi form a Pokemon link with Serperior, Machias form a Pokemon link with Golurk, Towa form a Pokemon link with Bewear, Estelle form a Pokemon link with Mienshao, Joshua form a Pokemon link with Houndoom, Eula form a Pokemon link with Beartic.

Emblem Lucina appeared next to Lloyd, Emblem Ike appeared next to Randy, Emblem Soren appeared next to Towa, Emblem Marth appeared next to Alear, Emblem Byleth appear next to Seadall.

"The one called Sugou is vulurable to Wind Arts: Grass Types, Poison Types, Rock Types and Normal Types moves." Eula's AI Master Quarts informed

Sugou throw laser beam toward the group but they dodge as Rogue slithers into a shadow and reappears behind him, only for Sugou to blind him with light.

"Aaaugh!" He cried as Sugou slashed with a magic sword.

"Bastard!" White Dragon Roar!" Sting roared and fired a beam of light at Sugou tilt his head and then fired a jet of energy at him.

Sting was knock away as The Zauber Soldier begin to swing toward the group, but Daruk got in front to shield them.

"I got this!" Daruk smirked as Noel Seeker firing at the joints.

The Zauber Soldot move around and send slash projections but Daruk bounces it off as Falcon jump toward him.

"Falcon punch!" He throw a Powerful Falcon Punch to knock the Soldot on the ground.

"Augh!" EDF Grunt winched as Falcon hop off and then Skull jump up and smack the chest armor as Tsubaki empower herself with light and then she summon swords and throw them toward the Soldots's joints.

Sugou fired beams of magic to intercept with Tsubaki's power and then he conjured pillars from the ground toward the party as they split up. Aoi lung toward Sugou to slash him, but he shield himself with magic and then kick him, but Aoi block, uppercuts Sugou's face and then throw a series of slashes against him and then kick his stomach to push him away while the Soldot got back on its feet.

The Soldot swing his sword and throw a few slash attacks but Towa and Emblem Soren throw orbal shots and magic against him while Bewear lung at insane speed and then punch the joints to push the Soldot back. Eula imbued her sword with ice energy as she toss her sword toward the Soldot who bounce it off with its shield, then Eula grabbed and slashes it, while Beartic throw Ice Beam to freeze the legs. Queen Ride on Johanna with Noir as they jump off and both hop on the Soldot and slam with their axe and fist as Panther and Morgana summon their Personas for whipping and Magic Attacks.

The Soldot broke free as the Soldot charge toward and then wing fiercely until Daruk curl into a ball, then launch himself toward the Soldot as they both power grind each other until the Soldot won and push Daruk back. Xander galloping on his horse as the soldot swing at him but dodge and then he slash through the Soldot, throw a series of slashes and then raised his sword and attacking the joints, then jump and spin slash and finish by cartwheel down and slam. Electivire pummel with Thunder punch as Golurk used Phantom Force to teleported from above and then punch it to the ground. Exadrill jump onto the joint and then used Drill Run to break the left leg and then break the other one.

Sugou firing ray attacks toward Lloyd but he dodged and lung to throw a punch, but Sugou block and retaliated by spin kicking him and firing a magic beam attack to push away Lloyd. Randy firing bullets from his Beserker form but the man teleported and then kick Randy's face and firing electricity to shock him.

"Aaauagugugh!" He winche as Emboar lung and Punch Sugou

"Ngh!" He growled as he slid, snarling.

Sugou swing his arms to throw blades of magic from the ground but Emboar dodged as Noel Seeker firing missiles from her rocket launchers. Sugou used gravity mangic to pin them down, then Joshua lung toward and slash around him, then Houndoom used Crunch on his arm.

"Aaaugh! Get the hell off of me you shitty mutt!" Sugou yelled as he conjured a sphere of magic until Serperior used Leaf Blade on him. "Augh!"

Sugou raise his available arm as Houndoom look down to sense an attack. He let go and jump away with Serperior as Spikes emerge from the ground. Sugou channeling magic from his hands and then firing them toward the group. Sugou repeatedly firing laser shots toward the group as they each split up, dodging and then Alear lung toward Sugou.

"Twin Dragon Fang!" Alear imbued blue-red flames in his Tachi and pass through Sugou with a trail of slashes that convert into damage.

"Nhg!" He winched as Seadall follow up by pummeling Sugou's face, following up with a couple of butterfly kicks and then backflip kick to sent a slash projection as Emblem Byleth whip attack him and Emblem Marth rapidly thrust him.

Sugou gathering magic and then spin flip, firing lasers toward Alear and Seadall while spinning and using Gravity Magic to levitate him. They duck their heads and dodged and then Alear did his next attack.

"Divine Flames!" He unleash rapidly thrust projection attacks on Sugou, then raised his Tachi as it manifest a blue dragon and swing down, causing an explosion as Sugou shield himself with his arms as he stop attacking.

Sugou flip back on his feet and then empower himself and then gathering energy to slam his hands to the ground, creating surge of power to burst out of the ground as Alear and Seadall jump away. Machias aim and firing bullets at Sugou and he shield himself with magic and then teleport above with a large sphere overhead, warcrying and throw them toward the group, until Daruk jump in, using Daruk's Protection to bounce off the attack.

"Falcon!" Falcon jump up to the sphere and then deliver a Falcon Punch. "Puuuuunch!" that punch launch it back at Sugou.

"Guuuuuuugh!" Sugou yelled in agony, rolling onto the floor.

"S-Sir Sugou!" An EDF yelled in shock as he got up.

"Hahh." Sugou panted for a fit and then he conjuring a sphere of energy. "It's all over for you." He dark smirked. "Time to die!"

"We'll see about that, Pal!" Daruk's voice yelled, causing him to have an !? over his head as everyone was unharm thanks to Daruk's Protection.

"Oof. That'a gonna be tough to reach..." Alear muttered. "But..." Alear tap his ring. "Emblem Engage!" He merge with Emblem Marth and levitated, flew to the switch and activated it, causing the floor to appear and then flew back. "I'm back."

"Nice job, Alear!" Lloyd smiled.

"On the bright side, we won't have to explore around to make it to the other side." Emblem Lucina said as Alear change back.

Could you ever look Sully, Rixia, Azura, Olivia, Seadall and many others of your friends in the eye and tell them this is who you've become?!"

Manfred finger snapped and blow a powerful gust of wind toward Lloyd, knocking him away as Randy lung toward him to slash him, but block and parried with his cane and swing at his face. Randy then punch Manfred duck, pull out a stun gun and shocking Randy and finger snapped to blow a gust of wind.

"Falcon Kick!" Falcon launch a Falcon Kick at one of the Demons who shield itself with its spears while Seadall lung toward Ilya to kick her, only for her to dodge gracefully and throw dark powers at him.

Seadall dodge gracefully as Emblem Byleth whip her, allowing Seadall to pummel her until Dimentio fired a projection at him unit Alear swoop him and deflect it while Seadall kick her away. Ilya backflip and then swing her arms to throw dark spikes at Seadall but he backflip while Dimentio clapped his hand and fired a laser beam at him, but Alear fcork to his left and lung at Dimentio for a thrust attack.

"Oof!" Dimentio winched, swirling until he recovered and then rain down rays of magic onto Alear and Seadall as they dodged.

Joker lung toward Dimentio but two of the Demons interfere by throwing slashes at him and one let out an errie screech. Joker was push back as Morgana readied his pistols with Akechi and firing bullets toward the Demons as Panther let out whip attacks against them and Noir lung and slash the Demon's face. Towa firing orbal shots with Machias fired bullets onto the Demons while Daruk summon magma by swinging his Boulder Crusher to the ground onto the Demons and then Xander fired a purple energy at one of the Demons.

Dahlia throw multiple fire butterflies toward Lloyd's teams but Fox summon Goemon to throw Mabufudyne to intercept the butterflies and then Queen lung toward Dahlia and throw a punch, only for her to block with her parasol and then swing and kick her. Queen block and then sweep kick her but she backflip and conjured fire around her and then throw a fireball at Queen and Fox. Both of them dodged as Manfred gathering wing on the palm of his hand and then throw a stream toward the Persona users.

The Demons throw their lance toward Xander, Daruk, Falcon and Tsubaki while the other howl as Ilya summons a dark sun above the group and rain down an explosion.

"Bewear, use Thrash on those Demons!" Towa yelled as Bewear lung toward and then pummeled one Demona nd then kick the other and lung to grabbed, bend her back and slam it over head.

"Golurk, Phantom Force!" Machias yelled as Golurk vanished and then popping out in different places, hitting the demons.

The Demons screech as they spin rapidly and throwing blade projections attack.

"Take this!" Tsubaki materlized many blades and throw a barricade onto the Demons and then she sprout wings and then transform her sword into a bow and firing many light homing shot to pierce the demons.

"Carmine!" Panther summon her Persona who unleash a flurry of whip attacks on the demons and Noir throw her axe to hit one of the Demon's face, jump, grabbed and then slash down.

"Let the show begin!" Dimentio snapped his finger. "Chaos Delight!" Then he, along with Ilya, Dahlia and Manfred are cloak in a purple aura.

"It's that power the one of the co-supreme leaders use!" Randy growled.

"Stay on your guard, everyone!" Alear yelled as he imbued his sword with blue energy.

"Black Swan Dance!" Ilya throw projections attack toward the group while Dimentio created clones of himself and each one firing projection toward the group.

Daruk use Daruk Protection to shield the group, but Dimentio snapped his finger to cause a portal underneath him.

"Whooooa!" Daruk yelled as the portal close and reopen in front of Manfred who kick him away. "Gwah!"

Lloyd lung toward Dimentio to punch him, but he block and then uppercut him.

"Blah!" He grunted as Ilya follow up by throwing a dark sphere at him, knocking him away as he backflip and slid.

"Ahaha! Time for the explosion!" Dimentio rain down clown-shape bombs onto the battlefield as Dahlia summon fiery tornados across the battlefield and Manfrey aim his cane and then firing shots at the group.

They each split up as the Demons unleash slash projections until Exadrilled used Earthquake and hit them, then Electrive throw in Discharge to shock the Demons.

"Glacial Illumination!" Eula lung and slash through the demon with a wide ice slash as Tsubaki transform into Izayoi and then teleported around the demond, slashing them and then raised her laser sword and then pierce through them, killing them.

"White Dragon Roar!" Sting throw a light beam against Manfrey but he block with his hand generating a shield.

"Down!" Manfrey snapped his finger and a large desk fall over him.

"Shadow Dragon roar!" Rogue fired a shadow breath from his mouth as Manfred jump away and then firing shots against him.

Rogue sink underground and move around Mandred until he kick him.

"Hmph!" He growled and then charge an energy punch to punch him but Rogue sink into the shadows as Dahlia spin gracefully with a fire dance as Estelle and Emblem Estelle dodge the spin dance as small tornados flew out of it.

Dahlia giggled and then unleash a screech with a large soundwave was launch toward them.

"Nngh!' Estelle and Emblem Estelle winched until Joshua and Emblem Joshua swoop in and slash her back.

"Nhg!" Dahlia winched as she glared at Joshua and kick him but he backflip and then throw slash projections at her.

Dahlia shield herself with her parasol and then conjured fireballs around herself and then sink into a fiery portal and then reappeared from the ceiling and then firing a stream of fire toward him, and Estelle as they dodged. Mienshao throw Aura Sphere at Dahlia but she sink back into the portal as it close, then reopen and dive to kick Mienshao, only for her to catch her, and then toss her toward Estelle as she throw Barrcade against her and kick her away.

Dahlia slid as she hissed as Ilya spin rapidly for throwing dark arrows toward Estelle, Joshua, Sting, Rogue, Noir, Panther, Queen, Towa and Machias but they dodged as Xander galloping toward them to slash her, only for Dimentio to teleported her and then she reappeared above and spin rapidly and throwing a barricade of black arrows toward the group.

"Ngh!" Joker grunted as Ilya landed on her greet.

"Bravo! Bravo! Encore my Dusken Dancer!" Dimentio summon shard around himself and then snapped his finger and the battlefield begin to alter and spread out.

"The area is expending!" Emblem Marth exclaimed.

"By your will, Lord Dimentio." Ilya smirked as her hands cloak in dark powers and them spread out, summon pocket dimensions and throw dark arrows around the group.

"Incoming!" Daruk yelled as he activate Daruk's projection as the others dodge but Towa, Bewear, Beartic, Eula, Estelle, Joshua, Randy, Panther, Xander and Skull

"Fall!" Manfred stomp his cane to the ground as he cause the ground to shook as rocks appeared out of nowhere from the ceiling and falling toward the group.

"Incoming!" Machias yelled as Golurk shield Machias along with Bewear as Excadrill used Metal Claw to destroy the rocks as Dahlia snapped her finger and summon hordes of fiery butterfly and launch them toward the group.

"I don't think so!" Towa yelled as she cast Diamond Nova to rain down ice Crystals to douse the butterflies while Machias firing bullets.

"Grr! I'm going to ruin you!" Dahlia toss her Parasol and then cloak her hands with fire and generated a heatwave attack toward then.

Houndoom counter with Flamethrower as Serperior use Agility to slither toward Manfred to wrap him

"Unhand me you slithering—" Then Serperior used Slam on him."Gah!"

Aoi created clones of himself as he lung around Manfred and Dahlia, slashing through them, then jump overhead with his chain sickler and spin rapdiy with the sickler slashing them and then throw throwing knives around them with steel wires and then pull them for slashes onto the two.

"Ngh!" They both grunted as Noel Seeker firing bullets at them, passing through them and then Serperior used Leaf Blade on them and Electivire launch himself with Giga Impact, knocking them to the wall. "Gwah/Blwah!"

"Ahaha! try all you like, hitting me is pointless!" Dimentio laughed.

"Albion Wolf!" Alear throw the Orbal Art as the Gigantic SIlver Wolf firing a devastating later and cancel Dimentio'saura.

Alear backflip and slahsing to deflect them with Emblem Marth as Seadall and Ilya having a dance off by throwing kicks at each other.

"Ahaha! Look at us having a dance off during a fight." Ilya smirked as she throw dark arrows at him but Seadall cork and spin gracefully.

"Then why not make this a competition?" Seadall suggest as he lung toward her and punch her.

"A fine idea." Ilya block with her arms and then summon a black sun. "Black Sun!" She rain it down on Seadall and exploded on him as he shield himself with his arms.

Dimentio created more clones of himself and each of them firing projections toward the group as Daruk rolled toward Mandred and then swing at him, but Manfred block with his cane but was overpower as Daruk swing fiercely at him and then Xander slash through him as his horse prance, kicking his face, and then horse kick him away while Eula and Dahlia swing at each other until Eula slam her greatsword as Dahlia jump, stomp on the sword and then throw a fireball. Eula dodge and then she counter with a punch her stomach.

Akechi lung toward Dahlia and slash through her and then begin firing bullets on her back.

"Megaidoleon!" Akechi yelled as Dahlia, Manfred, Dimentio and Ilya were hit by the attack, as Morgana slash her with his sword and Joker follow up by slashing, jabbing and then kicking her away.

Randy swing at Dimentio but he hit the clones as it disappeared and the other one reappeared and firing a laser beam to knock Randy away.

"Ngh!" He winched as he rolled and slid, glaring at the Dimentio clones as they laughed and throwing projections. "Nngh! I can't tell which one is the real one!"

"Dimentio is full of dangerous tricks." Lloyd looking around as the clones firing multiple projections toward the group as Ilya clapped her hands to sent black wave attacks as Seadall backflip. "Huh?" He notice the combat link underneath her and the real Dimentio was near to Aoi. "I'm an idiot. Aoi! Behind you is the real Dimentio."

"Huh?" Aoi turn his back as Dimentio throw an energy sphere at him. "Whoa!" he backflip

"Ah ah ah!" Dimentio snapped his finger as the sphere exploded on him. "Gotcha!"

"Time to dance!" Dimentio summon multiple shard and then launch them toward them. Alear, Emblem Marth and Emblem Byleth deflected them with slashes as Lloyd and Randy running toward the duo.

Randy throw a punch but Ilya dodge and counter with a kick, but Randy block it as Dimentio throw a projection attack at him. Lloyd dash around them and throw a punch, but Dimentio backflip and then repeatedly kicking Lloyd's head and then kicking him away while Ilya follow up by spin gracefully and throw a dark energy at him. Randy swing fierce against Ilya as she dodge and counter with a flip, but Emblem Ike block it and then counterattack her. Emblem Ike swing fierce against her and then swing to Urvan to knock her toward Dimentio.

"Oof!" They winched as they rolled and got back on their feet as Lloyd lung toward, punch through them with Emblem Lucina throw a series of slashes on them.

Falcon throwing a series of fist against Manfred as he block with his cane but Falcon punch his face and then pummel him and then uppercut, knocking up into the air for Falcon Dive, then kick him down to the floor with Falcon Kick. Falcon grabbed and toss him toward Daruk who readied his Boulder Breakder and slam him.

Noir and Dahlia swing at each other but Noir summon Milady to throw Mapsiodyne on her, Manfred, Dimentio and Ilya and then she disarm Dahlia and slash her repeatedly and then punch her away.

"WAA—OOF!" She crash to the fall as her combat link severed with Manfred.

"White Dragon Iron Fist!" Sting throw his fist at Dimentio as he dodged.

"Shadow Dragon Claw!" Rogue reappeared and kick him away.

"Nngh!"

"Holy Ray!" Sting fired countless numbers of rays attack against Dimentio, dealing a destructive force.

"Black Sun!" Ilya throw the attack over Sting and Rouge as they taken the hit.

"Nhg!" They grunted as Ilya cloak her hands with dark energy and then throwing energy spheres toward them, along with Lloyd.

They dodge them as Emboar punch the ground to make Ilya lose her movement.

"What?" She wobbling and then Lloyd toward her, pummeling her with his fist.

"Tiger Charge!" He yelled and punch through her .

"Augh!" She winched as she cartwheeled and collapse on the ground with her combat link severed.

"The show is far from over yet!" Dimentio snapped his finger and multiple magic circles appeared overhead and rain down a barricade of clown bombs onto the group as they all taken the hit.

"It's over now!" Joker aim is pistol and fired at him, but Dimentio tilt his head.

"Take this you bastard!" Lloyd lung at him and then punch him to the wall.

"Aaaugh!" He winched and then fell onto his knees.

The battlefield around the group change back to normal upon their defeat.

"Nngh..." Ilya groaned as she slowly getting back on her feet.

"Nnhg... You pest...!" Manfred growled.

(Trails into Reverie ost - Mysterious Elements)

"I...Lloyd?" Ilya groaned as they all turn their attentions on her. "What have I...?"

"She's returning to her senses!" Joker exclaimed.

"Open your eyes, Ilya!" Lloyd yelled.

"Rixia and Sully are waiting for you to come back to them!" Noel Seeker added

"Ri...xia... Sully... I... I am..." Ilya groaned.

"Oh no no no, this won't do at all!" Dimentio said as he got back on his feet and finger wag. "We simply cannot have our Dusken Dancer led astray. He won't certainly not like this. Not one bit. Ilya... remember your role. Dance to your heart's content until men fall to madness." Dimentio then snap his finger and suddenly the mask begins to pour out the dark wave.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Ilya yelled as she ran toward the stairs.

"No... We were so close!" Towa exclaimed.

"Dimentio you bastard! What did you do to her?!" Randy yelled

"Ahahaha! I reminded Ilya her role" Dimentio laughed. "Like I said earlier... we can't have her being led astray. It won't do any good at all."

"You son of a—!" Lloyd growled as Dimentio happily skip and followed Ilya as Dahlia and Manfred follow them. "After them!" He yelled and chase after them.

They chase after Ilya and Dimento to the bell but now they see Ilya is surrounded by a dark aura.

"Ilya! Wait! We haven't—!" Lloyd yelled

"Heehee. Sorry, little guy. You almost had me, but it looks like it'll take more than that to bring me back." Ilya smirked.

"No..." Estelle muttered

"Dimentio you bastard... if it hadn't been for you—!" Machias growled.

"Ahahah! Such ire, such rage! It's like watching children throwing a temper." Dimentio laughed. "Even if I weren't here, it won't do you any good to help her."

"Ilya!" A voice yelled as they all had an ! voer their heads as they turn and see an Airship coming toward them and they see Rixia and the others.

"Eatelle, Joshua, Eula!" Tita called out to them.

"It's good to see you guys are all right." Alisa sighed in relief.

"We're fine, yeah. But where did I see that airship before?" Machias wondered

"Guess we arrived just in time to see one heck of a mess." Jingo said in the intercom.

"Oh... Now I get what you meant by that lead you had." Lloyd said.

"That's right. It fortunately bore fruit." Elie nodded

"Why lookie here! More audience for the show!" Dimentio muses.

"Rixia..." Ilya paused. "So you found the courage to take the stage.

"I did." Rixia nodded. "Shanshan gave me the pep talk I needed. Now I can face you with strength unyielding— for you and for everyone else who loves me!"

Ilya let out a soft chuckle. "And that's the pep talk I needed." She said before turning to Lloyd and team. "It's almost time for my final performance. We can settle matters between us there. Until Crossbell. Don't keep me waiting."

"Chao!" Dimentio said as he use his magic and teleported him, Dahlia, Manfred, and Ilya away.

"Tch... they got away." Akechi muttered until they heard gunshots.

"Sounds like work to do." Alear said.

"Right. We've rescued the commander and the rest of the CGF." Noel Seeker said.

"Now let us return to the mountain." Lloyd said as everyone nodded.

"Banzai Bills can only be constructed by the Koopa Kingdom. How did they—" Tita gasped as the Banzai Bill pass over the people and then disappeared.

"Wait..." Lloyd eye widen. "No! It's heading toward—"

KABOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A large explosion was seen in the distance.

"C-Commander! That's where Mains is!" A CFD exclaimed, causing her to grit her teeth.

"Those bastards..."

"O-Our Home!" One of the Citizens screamed in horror.

"Come on! We need to investigate!" Dudley yelled as they all hurry to Mainz.

As they all arrived, they all had a horrified sight. Mainz was destroyed. All that's left was a large crater with many mountains crumbles and the tunnel was no more.

"Those bastards...!" Randy grit his teeth in anger. "They would go that far if they don't get what they want?!"

Lloyd grit his teeth. "The Co-Supreme leaders... the EDF have gone too far... first Armorica... and now Mainz too?! We won't let them get away..." But then he gasped.

"Same here. Now we just need to overcome Ilya, Dimentio, and the co-supreme leaders and their allies directly." Rixia nodded

"Yeah, and I know we can do it." Lloyd nodded. "Perhaps not alone, but with so many people backing us up, I can't imagine us losing."
