Hello everyone, here is another one shot
This is if the pirates thought Ann wasn't nice to Luffy and took him away from her and how that would go. This is based off of that the storm that got Luffy uncomfortable got there earlier

Read and relax
Ann blinked as she woke up, moving her hand to find Luffy, but she only found the bed, she half heard the door closing and someone speaking. "-her in chains." Ann blinked, were they speaking about her? She was still tired, barely getting any sleep as Luffy had cried the entire night for some reason. Would they put her in chains? Why? But not that, she shook her head, she needed to find Luffy. And she needed to find him now, before the pirates did something to him. She got up from bed and stormed out the door, seeing a pirate holding her baby, which she felt her anger fuel up. "Give him back!" The pirate shook his head, moving to hide the baby behind himself. "No! You'll just hurt him!" Ann blinked. Hurt him? Hurt him! She would never hurt him! She felt a growl come out of her mouth. "Give him back." She said in a low voice, but the pirate shook his head again. "No. I will not. He's safe now." Safe now? He was not! He was in danger! Only she could keep him safe! She felt another growl come out of her mouth, and she noticed the captain coming from around a corner, a few pirates with him, all ready to attack. Oh, so they wanted another fight? She would gladly do that. How dare they take her baby!
She got herself ready, also seeing a pirate with chains in his hands, most likely seastone chains for her. She would never go peacefully as long as her baby was in danger. She moved to attack the captain, knowing he was the one to give the order, he was the captain after all. The captain, Whitebeard, was quick in attacking back. But she felt as if he was holding back for some reason. Maybe they wanted to take her prisoner? Why, she didn't know. But as she was attacking the captain, more joined in on the battle, which would be hard, but she would manage somehow. She was mad, mad that they had taken her baby and that fueled her. She felt strong, she barely felt the pulsating pain in her abdomen. She would win this fight. Luffy was still in sight, but they kept her away from him. As she got closer, he walked backwards.
They continued to fight for a while, before one of the gunmen readied his gun, pointing it at her, probably a seastone bullet inside. She couldn't let that hit her. So, when he fired the gun, Ann evaded it. Just barely, but she did. But a second later, she heard a scream, which had her body freeze and breath leave her as she turned around, seeing Luffy howling in pain, bleeding from his arm. Luffy had gotten hurt. That was the only thought in her mind. She felt her breath trapped in her chest, and she could see the pirates approaching her, and she used a few seconds to get her breath back, without much luck, before she screamed, making many fall to the ground for some reason. The captain did look shocked, but she didn't care. They had hurt Luffy.
As she screamed, she went back to attacking, going at the first person he saw, which was a commander she believed, Vista, if she was right. And she first used her powers, hitting him dead on, making him fall down to the ground, his clothes still burning, and she was quick in moving a hand to hold his neck, the other getting her powers ready, prepared to kill him, when she looked at the captain, the person with Luffy next to him, Marco if she was right. "Give me my son back!" She growled out. The captain looked shocked at that, as most of the pirates did. Before any could speak, she moved her hand with fire closer to the pirate she had captured. "I get mine back, you get yours." He knew how this crew worked. How they thought each other to be a family, the captain being the 'father' in a way. She was prepared to kill for her child. She had murder in her mind, and was sure it would come to that. But, the captain lowered his bisento. "Okay, okay. Don't hurt him." Ann still felt out of breath, panting, most likely since she was furious. She would gladly kill if it got her child back. She knew the captain wouldn't let any of his crew die. He cared for his crew, as she cared for her son.
The captain then gave a motion to the pirate who held her baby, the man not seeming to want to hand the baby back but did so anyway. When the man was close enough, Ann moved to grab her baby, closing her eyes as she took a breath, just so glad to be holding him again. Luffy was safe. Luffy still cried, probably since he was in pain, and moved the baby a bit out, holding him with one hand, the other moving to cover the wound with her hand, before she gave a hum, looking at her baby. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine." She started to sing, heading back to her room. "You make me happy, when skies are gray. You'll never know dear, how much I love you." She walked into her room, Luffy starting to calm down. "Please don't take my sunshine away."
Luffy calmed down, and Ann sat down on her bed, moving the sleeve of Luffy's hand up, to see the wound. It was just a graze, thankfully, so it would probably heal well, she didn't want to see anyone for a while, and she wouldn't sleep for a while, to keep her baby safe.

Whitebeard frowned as Ann walked away singing to the young child. She seemed to… care for the baby. That wasn't the impression he had gotten from Claus. He looked at the man, who looked equally as shocked. "I thought you said she was mean?" Claus swallowed. "He was crying the entire night! No one would let a baby do that!" That was true. "Wait, what?" Said Whiskey to their right. "Of course he would cry last night!" Whitebeard frowned. "How do you know?" Whiskey sighed. "We met a snow storm, a rain storm, and sun. All in the span of a few hours. When pressure changes that much, a baby can't adapt to the pressure in their ears, so they cry because they're in pain. Any baby would have cried if the person didn't know how to deal with that, which very few do." That was an explanation, and the woman seemed to care for the child. That was when a realisation hit him. She had called him 'her son'. She was a young woman, but not so young it would be impossible for her to be a mother. It was looked down upon, to have a baby early and out of wedlock, but that didn't mean it never happened.
Maybe he had misjudged the woman, it seemed so. And, she had really fought this time, much more when they first met her. He knew a mother could grow stronger when their child was in danger, and she had really fought after the baby got injured. She must really care for the child. Why else would she fight so hard? But still, the child had gotten injured, and he wanted to know he was fine. So he looked at Whiskey. "Could you check on him? He got injured." Whiskey wasn't a pirate. Or, she was. But not like them. She was a nurse more than a pirate. The nurse nodded. "Let me grab a few things, and I can check."
As the nurse left, Marco looked at him. "She seems to care, yoi." Whitebeard nodded. "I know, and she said 'her son'. I think we might have misjudged her." He didn't want that, he had wanted to have her in the family, before they thought she was harming the baby, but she most likely wasn't. It was probably as Whiskey said, the pressure's fault. Marco nodded, the same with his children. He sent Izou to help Vista to the infirmary as he was injured.
Then it took an hour, but Whiskey came up to him. "The child, Luffy, is fine. it was just a graze. Ann had done her best to wrap it herself. She really does seem to care for him." Whitebeard nodded, so he had misjudged the woman. Why he was crying made sense, and how she was suddenly so strong meant she cared for him. But again, she had really fought this time, even used haki, which he didn't know she knew. It didn't seem like she knew it herself, but she had great potential if she could use it that well already, a few commanders had staggered. She was a strong woman, maybe a mother. But he would wait and see, he hoped she would come out of that room again. Or, she needed to, to get food and water. And, he would try and act nice towards her, hoping the others would as well. They had most likely misjudged her. And he felt awful for it. He might have ruined the chance of her staying. But, he could only wait and see.
And that's the one shot, hope you enjoyed
I hope this was good and nice to read, as it is what I imagine would have happened if the pirates tried to take Luffy away from Ann
