This is some of the aftermath and some issues Ace has

Marco sat and did some paperwork at his desk, Ace asleep in his bed as he was tired. After a bit, Marco saw Ace waking up and moved a hand to his head as his face morphed into pain with a groan. It had him worried so he moved over and moved a hand to Ace's leg. "You okay, yoi?" Ace lightly shook his head, speaking in a low voice. "My head hurts." Ace still had headaches, or migraines, some worse than others, and he hoped this wouldn't be a bad one. "Is it worse than yesterday, yoi?" Ace nodded, not speaking, which he knew meant it was a bad one. "Do you want to go to Bay?" He knew Ace hated to go to the infirmary, but at times they needed to. Ace laid still for a few seconds, before he nodded and Marco did as well. That meant it was a bad one. "Want me to carry you, yoi?" Ace nodded so he moved and lifted Ace, who had his hands on his head, eyes closed.

He then walked to the infirmary, and when he passed Jensen, who was on watch, he asked him to get Thatch from the kitchen, telling that Ace had another migraine and that they would be in the infirmary. When he got to the infirmary and Bay saw them, she gave a sigh. "Another migraine?" Marco nodded as he placed Ace down in a bed. "Yes, yoi." Bay gave a breath and put in an IV, before she got some morphine and injected that and Marco really hoped it would help. After a minute, Thatch came into the infirmary and looked worried as he headed over to them, a hand moving to Ace's head. "You okay?" Ace shook his head and Marco sighed. "He just got something, yoi. We're just waiting for it to work." Thatch nodded and moved and gave a kiss to Ace's head. "I hope it helps." Ace gave a small nod, and Marco really hoped for the same. After a couple more minutes, Ace not getting better, Bay came over and asked if it felt better and Ace shook his head. "Barely." Bay nodded. "Want to try one dose more times, or one triple one? If the triple one doesn't work, I can do nothing more for a while." Ace seemed to be thinking, before he spoke, still in a low voice. "Triple." Bay nodded. "Want some sedatives too?" Bay asked now at least, as she had the last few times, as Ace always got so tense. Ace nodded, making Bay move away and prepare it.

As Bay was away, Marco moved his hand to Ace's head. "It hurts that bad, yoi?" Ace rarely said yes to the sedatives as it made him drowsy, and Ace had just slept. Ace nodded and he felt bad for Ace. He wished this would end. He hated seeing Ace in pain. Bay then came back and injected a syringe into Ace's IV, and he hoped this would work better. He moved his hand to Ace's hand, holding it and stroking it, Thatch having his hand on Ace's head, stroking it with his thumb. After a minute, it seemed like Ace started to relax, eyes closed and seeming to be asleep. Bay did come over a bit later and looked at the kid. "Portgas," Marco expected Ace to not react, but he hummed, which had Bay continue. "You feeling okay?" Ace nodded. "Yeah. My head doesn't hurt." That was really good. Bay nodded. "That's good. You want to stay here or in one of your rooms?" Ace seemed to think for a few seconds, before he moved himself a bit up and moved his arms out to Thatch, who got it and moved to lift Ace, Ace leaning on his chest as he was tired from the sedatives. Which was no surprise.

Bay nodded. "Come back if it flares again." Ace nodded against Thatch's chest. Marco did really hope this would be the last trip to the infirmary with a migraine. They then walked out of the infirmary and when they were, he looked at Ace and moved a hand to his head. "Want to go to my room or Thatch's, yoi?" Ace gave a small hum. "Yours." Marco nodded and looked at Thatch, who nodded and they started the trip back to his room. When they got there, Thatch put Ace down in the bed and Ace made himself comfortable. Thatch moved himself to lie next to Ace and Marco did the same on the other side, Ace seeming to fall asleep quickly, which was no surprise, he was already basically asleep.

Marco laid in bed for a bit, before he moved when both Ace and Thatch were asleep to do some morepaperwork as he couldn't sleep right now, he didn't feel tired. The two stayed asleep for about an hour, Ace waking up first and him moving woke Thatch, who had an arm over Ace. As Ace sat up, he looked at the kid. "You feeling okay, yoi." Ace nodded. "Yeah, my head feels fine." Thatch gave a smile. "That's good." Ace nodded as he stretched. "Yeah." He was glad it had passed, and he hoped this would be the last visit to the infirmary with a headache.
