On the way to the Movie Theater, I told Cindy that I was going to take her to see a romantic film. This cheered her up! However, knowing Tom, he's not a big fan on rom-coms, just like Ahmed. But one look and Cindy and I knew we had the same crazy idea.

At the movie theater, I gave Tom some money, so that he can see a monster movie and leave me and Cindy alone to watch a romantic film.

Cindy: We'll meet at the end, alright?

It seemed like a good deal. As Cindy and I watched the romantic film, she was making goo-goo eyes at the screen and sighing in her usual in-love sort of way. And once, she placed her head on my shoulder. Even I was enjoying the film. Here I was, watching a movie with the girl I fell in love with!

Cindy: Oh, Neil, this has been a most memorable day of my life.

Neil: Mine too, Cindy! Mine too!

Later after the movie was over, Cindy went to the bathroom. I was waiting for her outside the bathroom doors, when I saw someone coming out of another auditorium towards me. Tamira! I don't why she's here, but this time, I had had enough of her.

Neil: Now, listen up, Tamira! Get this through your head! You and I are-!

But Tamira cutted me off, just as Tom arrived.

Tamira: Destined to be together? Made for each other?

Tom: Never gonna happen! He's already dating my sister.

I was glad that Tom said that! Besides, Tamira and me? No way! But what Tamira said next made me angry.

Tamira: You mean I sat through two terrible films for nothing? I'm not surprised you like monsters and romance, because that girl's a total freakshow.

Neil: Freakshow? FREAKSHOW? How dare you insult Cindy in such a way?

Big mistake! To Tom's amazement, when I got angry, my ears and teeth changed back to their original pointy selves. My true form even scared Tamira as I confronted her.

Neil: From now on, you must be nice to her. Because if you aren't, I'll find out, Tamira! I'll be watching you! Always watching! So, be nice!

This terrified Tamira so much that she ran out of the theater.

Tom: Amazing! How did you do it?

Uh oh! When I felt my ears, I realized that Tom saw me change back to my regular form. I quickly thought about Cindy and my ears and teeth changed back.

Neil: Sorry about that, Tom! But please don't tell anyone about this. Not even to Cindy! I don't want to scare her.

Tom: Don't worry, your secret's safe with me.

I can see that Tom meant it.

Tom: And you know what? I think it's cool that you're hanging out with Cindy.

Neil: Thanks, Tom!

Later when Cindy, Tom and I got back to the Fairiksen family's house, I looked through the Living Room window and saw that Willow now had wings. I tried to keep what I had seen a secret, but when we went inside, I couldn't hold it any longer.

Neil: I can't believe it! A real live fairy! I've never seen one before.

The Fairiksens gasped! Willow's wings gave them away. Cindy and Tom gulped because now they had to come clean. They were worried I might laugh at them and even tell the whole town about them.

Tom: Okay, you got us, Neil! The truth is Mom is a fairy and Dad is an ogre. We moved here from Fairyland because ogres and fairies weren't allowed to marry there.

Cindy: And the reason why you saw me as a tree was because I used Mom's wand.

But I didn't laugh! In fact, now I understood about them feeling out of place and why they were hiding their Fairyland traits. If anyone in Coulvice found out about it, the town might want to use their magic for selfishness or worse, scientists might do experiments on them.

Neil: Don't worry, Fairiksens, your secret is safe with me. I promise I won't tell anyone!

Willow: You won't?

Neil: Cross my heart!

And just like that, I became the only one that knew of the Fairiksens' Fairyland traits. But little did I know was that Hexton had also found out about Fairyland because, as I found out from the Fairiksens, the magic book I had was from Fairyland too.

Hexton: If I can get the magic book from Neil, I can not only get my revenge for being dumped for that Mr. Shadowton, but I would also become the most powerful scientist in the world.
