It was getting dark out, Tess had been living with the others for a few hours and it was what she imagined it would be. Lonnie and Rath had already headed to bed. Zan said he was going to bed shortly after they left the room, Tess followed him in the room, she didn't want to be out there alone. Plus she trusted Zan more than she trusted the other two. He went over and sat on his bed, then Tess asked if he minded she take the first shower. Zan said he was fine with it, Tess grabbed her overnight cloths and went into the bathroom. After her shower, she got dressed then went out to the bedroom again. Zan was looking through the Antar book, that described their pat lives and marriage. He then flipped to the page of them and asked if she wanted to try the dating thing the book guided them to do. Tess didn't say anything at first, the he said he was taking a shower and she could answer when he was done.
Tess picked up the book after he left and flipped the pages, she decided to give a relationship a try with Zan. Nasado taught her it was best to make sure their family units stayed together. When Zan left the bathroom, he was looking at her holding the book, and Tess stopped flipping the pages, then said yes, she wanted to try the dating thing. Zan said cool, then sat by her on his bed and turned on the television in the room. It was movie about someone getting lost on a camping trip. Tess was watching the movie, when Zan put his hand on her face then leaned in and kissed her. It was a slow kiss and left her lips moistened against his. He pulled away then turned back to the movie. Tess fell asleep with her head on his shoulder, she missed the last thirty minutes of the movie.
The next day Tess woke up to a empty room, Zan must have gotten up early because the sun was just starting to rise. After leaving the room she saw the three of them in the living room. Tess went to the kitchen to get a drink, the fridge was full and it was a good thing that the apartment came with food in it, because Tess would have needed to go shopping. After leaving the kitchen, she heard her phone went to her room, and answered it. It was Nasado he was on his way to the apartment, and he wanted her to go somewhere with him. Tess told him, she would be ready. After leaving the apartment, Tess told the others she would be back in a few hours.
She was waiting out side when Nasado pulled up, and Tess went in the car. He drove to the other side of town, then stopped in a parking lot and got out. Tess followed him, He said that he rented a apartment to stay in a few weekend a month and he wanted to show her it. The apartment was nice and Tess liked that he wouldn't be to far from her. When Nasado dropped her off at her own apartment, he helped carry her bags he had in the trunk inside. The three of them must have went out because they weren't in the apartment. Nasado left and Tess brought her stuff in the bedroom to put away. The items she brought fit nicely in the room, and she had just enough closet space.
