Hey, guys! This is the third chapter of the new Super War Chronicles story! As the eight teams start building up their new headquarters, they suddenly come under attack by Ash's arch enemies, Team Rocket! Enjoy.
Chapter 3 - Team Rocket Attacks
?, Fifth Avenue, Manhattan, New York City
Naruto and Natsu lifted some wooden planks with bravado, but the weight of the ones they were lifting were too much and ended up collapsing on their heads.
"Ouch." Happy muttered.
"That's what you idiots get for carrying so much." Gray mocked, carrying only one wooden bar with his left arm hung over the side of his head; and shirtless again.
"You two losers are hopeless." Sasuke added, carrying several two small boxes with both hands.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Naruto and Natsu snapped in unison, pushing the planks off of them after being insulted.
Natsu and Gray clashed heads again, while Naruto got up to Sasuke's face, who didn't even bother to budge back.
"You punks have a problem?" Gray asked, in a taunting manner.
"A problem with your stupid faces!" Natau answered.
"And your insults are getting boring!" Naruto added, which Sasuke didn't answer back to the Nine-Tails jinchuriki's aggravation.
Suddenly, a large steel smacked the heads of Naruto, Natsu and Gray to the ground in a manner like Wack-a-Mole. Only Sasuke avoided with ease.
"Enough arguing! We have a lot of work to do!" Erza, having used her Magic to dress up like a construction worker, chided.
"Aye…" Naruto, Natsu and Gray groaned.
Watching from the sidelines were Gran and Vyrn, Happy, Laxus, Shikamaru and Sandalphon, who all simply sighed.
"I swear." Sandalphon muttered.
2 hours have now passed and the eight groups are already working on building their new headquarters, starting with the outside first. Several groups were out getting Earth-based supplies like food, clothing, furniture, etc.
There are some things from other worlds like multiple boxes of Pokémon Berries of multiple varieties for the Pokémon, the Thousand Sunny (which is currently covered up in a large white sheet to conceal its' appearance), ninja tools such as shuriken and kunai in boxes, Soul Reaper and Magic items that are locked in sturdy boxes, among other things.
The only ones at the base were Naruto, Natsu, Happy, Carla, Lily, Blizzard, Kumi, Kon, Gran, Vyrn, Ash, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Gray, Erza, Laxus, Franky, Brook and Sandalphon, plus all of the Pokémon and the loyal horses of Takumi and Isshiki, Mustang and Charlie, staying behind to get started on outside work.
(A/N: Totally forgot about those two. My mistake.)
"It's a little to early to be fooling around when we still have work to do." Laxus said.
Franky, who just finished all the outside tables and chairs, did his signature pose.
"You guys don't have to worry about all that. Things like this are best to keep the mood going." Franky explained, getting annoyed looks from the Lightning Dragon Slayer and Supreme Primarch.
"I do hope Aika is okay on her own." Kumi said, worried.
"You don't have to worry. Wendy is looking after her." Carla assured, which did give the Akita pup some comfort.
"We can't risk going if people of this world freak out at seeing us talking cats or living Pokémon." Lily explained.
"Plus, Franky and Brook are abnormally weird and volunteered to stay as well." Blizzard said.
"Pika…" Pikachu said, agreeing with the wolfdog.
Pikachu then looked to see Ash getting to know the moves of his Tyrunt, Gogoat, Meowstic and Honedge with their teachers being five first Kalos Pokémon.
"Alright, guys! Let's get started on training you the best you can be!" Ash hollered.
Pikachu's mood soon brightens and quickly ran to his partner's side, who immediately returned by lifting the Mouse Pokémon up.
"And let's not forget you, buddy." Ash said.
"Pikapi!" Pikachu hollered.
"Just try not to damage anything, kid." Laxus warned.
"Don't be a killjoy, Laxus." Natsu pouted, only to get silenced by a glare.
"You have no room to talk." Laxus said.

Soon enough, Ash had Pikachu practice with Greninja, Tyrunt with Noivern, Gogoat with Goodra, Meowstic with Hawlucha, and Honedge with Talonflame with enough space for each of them.
Naruto and the others took breaks to watch the practice matches.
"Looks like we get to see what a battle between Pokémon is all about." Naruto said.
"Guess this little break has some merit." Sasuke said.
"Makes me wanna get in on the action." Natsu said.
"I think you should calm down, man." Gran said.
"Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Let's go!" Ash commanded.
"Piiika-Chuuuuuu!" Pikachu shouted, firing a powerful bolt of electricity at Greninja.
"Greninja! Dodge and use Water Shuriken!" Ash commanded.
Greninja flipped backwards to dodge the Thunderbolt and generated a large shuriken made of water from his hands at Pikachu, who dodged effortlessly.
"Tyrunt, use Bite! Noivern! Match that with Dragon Claw!" Ash commanded.
Tyrunt jumped towards Noivern and attempted to bite the bat-like dragon Pokémon, but Noivern countered with green-empowered claws to intercept the Bite attack.
"Gogoat! Use Vine Whip! Goodra, endure that with Bide!" Ash commanded.
Gogoat shot out a pair of vines from the bushes on its' head and lashed them at Goodra, who stood its' ground to endure the assault, gaining power from the pain.
"Hawlucha, use Karate Chop! Meowstic, dodge then counter with Psyshock!" Ash commanded.
Hawlucha attacked Meowstic with a glowing claw and wing to strike with swiftness, but the Psychic-type Pokémon gracefully dodged then fired three dark purple beams at Hawlucha, scoring a direct hit.
"Talonflame! Use Flame Charge! And Honedge, counter that with Slash!" Ash commanded.
Talonflame coated itself in fire and charged faster than the naked eye, meeting a powerful white blade from Honedge itself, leaving an even match between the two.
To command like 10 Pokémon all at once in a training match is quite the sight. As expected of a talented young Trainer like Ash.
Naruto, Natsu, Happy, Carla, Lily, Blizzard, Kumi, Kon, Gran, Vyrn, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Gray, Erza, Laxus, Franky, Brook and Sandalphon were all impressed, while the Pokémon (both old and new) of Serena, Clemont and Bonnie, Alain and Mairin were cheering hard and feel like training themselves.
Ash was about to make the next move when he suddenly heard a familiar voice from the distance.
"Hey, guys! We're back with all our items! Plus some lunch!" Serena called out, joined by the rest of the gang who all got back from their errands, plus brining lunch like mainly hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries and drinks like sodas and water in plastic bags cooked fresh. Luffy was being pulled by Nami in the ear to keep him from eating all the food selfishly without sharing.
"Alright, everyone! Let's stop right there! Good work!" Ash commented, which Pikachu and the others agreed with cheer.
"LUNCH TIME~!" Naruto and Natsu shouted.
But from the distance, they were unaware they were being watched.

Everyone gathered around to enjoy their lunch together. Even the Pokemon were enjoying their first round of Berries to keep their stomachs full.
"SO GOOD~!" Naruto, Natsu, Luffy, Ash and Shoyo Hinata shouted, talking while eating.
"EAT FIRST! THEN TALK!" Erza snapped, causing the five to freeze up, getting snickering laughs from mostly Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.
Erina herself didn't criticize the food because of her God Tongue because she's in very good company that doesn't bring it out, despite her extremely sensitive palette.
Blizzard's ears suddenly twitched when he heard something and quickly moved out of the way, but Happy, Pikachu, Dedenne, Carla, Lily, Kumi, Kon and Vyrn were captured, alerting the whole group.
"Hey!" Ichigo hollered.
"Who the heck did that?!" Soma questioned.
A trio of snickering came from the sky, causing everyone to look up and see an air balloon with a strangely familiar head-shaped.
Ash, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Alain and Mairin grimaced upon seeing who is really behind this.

Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth! That's right!
From that narration, it is none other than the three arch-nemesis of Ash and Pikachu: the Team Rocket Trio of Jessie, James and the talking Meowth, along with Jessie's Wobbuffet and James' Mime Jr.

"Team Rocket!" Ash, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Alain and Mairin hollered in unison.
"Not these jerks!" Shoyo Hinata and Yamaguchi thought, totally annoyed upon recognizing who they are.
Sanji had heart-shaped eyes upon seeing Jessie, but Sakura bashed his head to silence him.
"Who the heck are these creeps?" Soma asked.
"Bad guys who always try to steal other people's Pokémon." Ash answered.
"What the heck are you guys up to?" Serena demanded.
"Isn't it obvious, Tweerpet. Stealing Pikachu as our No. 1 Goal!" Jessie declared.
"Along with stealing all these Pokémon here." James added.
"But we're not Pokémon!" Happy, Carla, Lily, Kon, Kumi and Vyrn snapped in unison.
"Maybe so, but you guys are quite the specimens to be caught." Meowth explained, in a smug manner.
"Is that a talking Pokémon?! So cool!" Luffy hollered, in excitement with stars in his eyes. But Shoyo Hinata smacked the back of his head.
"You idiot! They have your sister's puppy!" Shoyo Hinata snapped.
"If you know whats good for you scum, release them this instant!" Erza hollered, summoning a sword as she transformed back into her regular armor. Katalina did the same with her drawn sword in anger upon seeing Vyrn harmed.
"Oh, please. Like empty threats will stop us." Jessie bragged.
"We have the advantage." James said.
"Don't you twerps even try anything. This electro-proof need will keep any unwanted zaps away." Meowth explained, angering the heroes.
But two among them had other ideas and came to be Sasuke and Zoro, who respectively slashed both the net and the balloon, the net cut open to free the captives which Happy, Carla, Lily and Vyrn carried each carrying Pikachu, Dedenee, Kon and Kumi respectively to Team Rocket's shock.
"THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN?!" Jessie, James and Meowth cried out in shock. Wobbuffet and Mime Jr. sighed in depression.
Team Rocket's balloon came crashing down hard as the eight captives flew back to the gang unharmed.
"You okay, buddy?" Ash asked, which Pikachu responded with a raised up fist.
"Glad you're okay, pal." Natsu said, ruffing Happy's head, who smiled in return.
Wendy, Bonnie and Aika hugged their partners in total relief. Vyrn flew beside Gran and Lyria, both totally glad the little dragon wasn't harmed. Ichigo and Kon didn't look at each other out of their usual batter, but the Substitute Soul Reaper was glad his Mod-Soul partner was alright.
"Nice work, you two." Naruto commented, which Sasuke and Zoro didn't answer as they put their swords away.
Team Rocket quickly recovered from their fall, now battle-ready with a pair of Poké Balls in their hands.
"If you twerps wanna a fight…" Jessie said.
"… you'll all get one!" James hollered.
"Go! Seviper and Gourgeist!" Jessie hollered, calling out both Seviper (who hissed) and Gourgeist (who danced)
"Time to play - Inkay and Yamask!" James hollered, calling out his Inkay and Yamask.
"We'll take care of them!" Naruto declared, tightening his headband a bit as he got ready to fight.
And he's not alone.
"I'm all fired up!" Natsu hollered, mashing his fists together.
"Bring it!" Ichigo hollered, entering his Soul Reaper form and drawing out Zangetsu.
"Shishishi! I'm getting excited." Luffy laughed, cracking his knuckles.
"I want in as well." Blizzard said, snarling.
"You ready, Pikachu?" Ash asked, adjusting his hat as his main battling partner was all set and raring to go.
"Pika!" Pikachu hollered, generating electricity from his cheeks.
"Lyria. You and Vyrn stay with the others." Gran ordered, drawing his sword.
"Right!" Lyria hollered, falling back to watch alongside Vyrn.
"Guess we have to teach them a lesson." Shoyo Hinata said, drawing his Ninjatō swords.
"Can't wait myself!" Soma hollered, mashing his metallic fists together.
"Seviper, Poison Tail! Gourgeist, Dark Pulse!" Jessie commanded.
Seviper's sharp tail turned purpled and lashed forward, while Gourgeist shot a beam of purple rings made of dark energy from her mouth.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto shouted, creating two clones of himself that charged forward and quickly took the hits, allowing the real Naruto to jump upward and create two more to deliver two drop kicks to the head, making them dizzy for Natsu and Luffy to follow up.
"Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu shouted.
"Gum-Gum Pistol!" Luffy shouted.
Natsu and Luffy combined their fist attacks to knock out both the Fang Snake and Pumpkin Pokémon to Jessie's shock.
"Down in one hit?!" Jessie exclaimed.
"Inkay, use Psybeam! Yamask, use Shadow Ball!" James commanded.
Inkay fired a streaky blue blast with pink circles by hanging upside down while Yamask fires a ball of dark purple energy but Gran and Shoyo Hinata cleaved the attacks in two with their swords.
"Since when can twerps like them do that?!" Meowth questioned.
"Pikachu, Quick Attack! Let's go!" Ash commanded.
"Pikachu-Pi-Pi-Pi-Pika!" Pikachu hollered, unleashing a devastating super fast charge on Inkay, knocking him out.
Ichigo used Flash Step to help Soma get behind and grabbed Yamask by the arms with his gauntlets coated with red magical energy and threw him straight at Wobbufett and Mime Jr.; knocking all three out at once.
"My poor Inkay and Yamask!" James cried, in shock.
"Then let me have a crack at these punks with my Fury Swipes!" Meowth hollered, attempting to slash his claws glowing sharp. But Blizzard was one step ahead.
"Why not try my X-Fang!" Blizzard shouted, firing an X-shaped air blast that hammered Meowth hard right into Jessie and James.
"Now let's finish this!" Naruto hollered.
"Rasengan!" Naruto shouted.
"Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu shouted.
"Getsuga Tensho!" Ichigo shouted.
"Gum-Gum Bazooka!" Luffy shouted.
"Bullet Fang!" Blizzard shouted.
"Reginleiv!" Gran shouted.
"Pikachu, Thunderbolt - let's go!" Ash commanded.
"Piiika-Chuuuuuu!" Pikachu shouted.
"Dragon Fang!" Shoyo Hinata shouted.
"Super Hammer Fist!" Soma shouted.
All nine combined their attacks at Team Rocket, generating a massive explosion that sent them flying.
"If I had known our Twerps have freakishly powerful new friends, I would've called ahead!" Jessie whined.
"Guess there's plenty we don't know about." James muttered.
"In the meantime, let's say this…" Meowth said with dread.
"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN~!" Jessie, James and Meowth screamed in unison, followed by whines from Wobbufett, Mime Jr., Seviper, Gourgeist, Inkay and Yamask.

"Alright!" Naruto, Natsu, Ichigo, Luffy, Gran, Ash, Shoyo Hinata and Soma hollered in unison, doing a hi-five together.
"Heck yeah!" Blizzard howled.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu hollered, jumping on Blizzard's back.
"They kicked their butts!" Happy hollered.
The rest of the gang cheered or smiled, even people like Sasuke, Laxus, Sandalphon and Tsukishima let out smiles of their own even if they didn't want anyone to see their good moods.
"Guess we now know those creeps are here again." Serena said, in annoyance.
"Who cares! If they try attacking us again, we'll send them flying!" Natsu boasted.
Pikachu suddenly felt his cheeks being pinched by a curious Luffy.
"Shishishi! You sure remind me of a Pikachu I fought with." Luffy commented.
(A/N: You can guess which One Piece x Pokémon I'm talking about.)
"Uh, Mr. Luffy! I think you should be careful!" Ash warned, but Luffy didn't listen as he kept pinching Pikachu's cheeks.
This greatly annoyed Pikachu and without warning…
"Piiika-Chuuuuuu!" Pikachu shouted, unleashing a massive Thunderbolt that zapped pretty much everyone in a comical big explosion.
When the dust settled, most likely Naruto, Natsu, Happy, Ichigo, Kon, Blizzard, Gran, Lyria, Vyrn, Ash, Greninja, Talonflame, Hawlucha, Noivern, Goodra, Tyrunt, Gogoat, Meowstic, Honedge, Shoyo Hinata, Soma, Hinata Hyuga, Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru, Lucy, Gray, Wendy, Carla, Juvia, Lily, Levy, Orihime, Rukia, Uryu, Sado, Renji, Nami, Aika, Kumi, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Franky, Brook, Zeta, Katalina, Braixen, Pancham, Sylveon, Clemont, Chespin, Bunnelby, Bonnie, Alain, Charizard, Metagross, Weavile, Unfeazant, Bisharp, Tyranitar, Mairin, Chespie, Floette, Yachi, Kageyama, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Erina, Megumi, Takumi, Hisako and Isshiki got zapped.
Only Luffy (thanks to his rubber powers making him immune to all forms of electricity), Sasuke (who easily dodged to the side), Erza (who requipped into her Thunder Empress Armor to cancel the electricity coming to her), Gajeel (using his Iron Dragon Club like a lightning rod to shoot the electricity upwards), Laxus (having absorbed most of the electricity), Luxray, Dedenne and Emolga (being immune due to being Electric-types), Robin (who hid behind Laxus to avoid getting hit), Serena (who managed to instinctively get being Erza), Absol (who followed his Trainer right behind with a protective instinct) and Sandalphon (who also dodged like Sasuke without effort).
Pikachu became confused as Luffy laughed without a care.
"So cool!" A voice hollered, alerting everyone to see from the front entrance three similar teenagers with the middle one excited and the other two sighed upon being busted.
Next time: Chapter 4 - New Friends
Did you enjoy? Never would've guessed I added Team Rocket as the first opponents, eh?! But what better way to have our first battle with the very villains that have hounded Ash and Pikachu in the entire Pokémon world for as long as I can remember. I also wanted to give all of Ash's Pokémon a small practice match to see their abilities, including the new ones first hand.
Sorry if this took a little too long. I'll try to post more chapters the best I can, but I do have other things to write plus real life work can be hard without a laptop.
