Volcanic Panic!
In the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, where its the island with town is steaming as if it has the hot springs and resorts. Somewhere in town near the ocean with volcanic island called Devon Island, the fisherman is cooking in hot springs with clams by boiling it.
"Ah, the hot springs, nature's home crock-pot." He said while cooking it. "He's ought to be cook by now." He fished the basket out and noticed something in the basket. He sees the large egg that is bigger than the others. "Hey! How'd this ostrich egg get mixed in here with my clams? I can't sell that." He exclaimed. "I guess I can just throw it back in the water." The fisherman picked it up, but it's too hot for him to hold and toss it behind him.
The egg hit the rock and rolls to the camp fire. The egg turned out it was an egg capsule and open it with a card inside it. The card touched the fire and glowed, turning it into a dinosaur called Acrocanthosaurus. It roared and stomps away.
"Another earthquake?" He said, thought the giant footsteps is an earthquake.

Canadian Arctic Archipalago
The kids, Dr. Taylor, and Reese arrived on the island for vacation and staying on the hotel.
"Wow, look at this view!" Zoe said, looking at the ocean and island.
"Yeah, and that's Devon Island over there." Rex said, pointing at the volcano island.
"I wonder why it has all that smoke coming from it?" Zoe asked.
"Because there's an active volcano on that island called Mount Devon. We may even see an eruption while we're here." Dr. Taylor explained. "There has been a lot of seismic activity and earthquakes lately."
"Really?" The kids said.
"That's not good." Max said.
"Or it may not happen for many more years." He said, making Zoe and Max groaned.
"Why do you have to scare us like that?" He said, flatly.
"How about I look it up?" Spike pulls out his phone. "Let's see, I'll just quickly find out the date of the last eruption and then I can do the mathematical calculation of what the chances are for the next-"
"Doctor." Reese said, interrupts him. "I thought you said no research during this vacation." She reminds him.
"Huh? Ehehe, you're right I forget." He chuckled. "From now on, we're going to have nothing but fun to reward ourselves for all our hard work and that means absolutely no researchers studying for as long as we're here."
"Oh?" They said.
"Hey, Where's Terran and Wisp?" Zoe asked, whispered.
"He told me that they going to explore this island." Rex replied. "Something about keep sharp out for something unusual."
"And to make sure that happens, I'm laying down the law that we can't say anything about whatever we're currently working on." Spike added. "That way we'll be all rested and ready when we go back to research."
"Great idea." Reese agreed.
"So, the rule is: no one is allowed to make any mention of anything having to do with dinosaurs while we're here." Dr. Taylor said, making a rule.
"Hold on, you mean we're not allowed to say the word 'dinosaur'?" Max asked.
"Our first violation already and now for the consequences." Spike said.
"No fair!" Max exclaimed when his dad draws around his left eye with marker.
"Hmhmm. Good thing I didn't say it, huh Ace?" Rex told Ace.
"I heard that. You said his name. Another violation." Spike said.
"Huh?" He said before he had an X on his face while having an annoyed look.
"We can't say their names, but why not? That is some dinosaur research." Zoe asked, but said 'that' word, making Dr. Taylor chuckled with marker. He draws around her mouth while Zoe had an embarrassed look.
Max laughed at her. "That's what you get for saying the word 'dinosaur'." He said the 'word' before having add a drawn whisker on his right cheek.
Chomp laughed at Max's face before having a drawn moustache and circled right eye.
"Wait, Chomp too!" Rex exclaimed before having drawn again by Dr. Taylor.
Spike Taylor keeps drawing their faces every time they uttered the word 'dinosaur' and the chibi dinosaur name, especially Ace, Chomp, And Paris.
"Doctor, honestly." Reese said, annoyed and having drawn in her face as well with everyone having an annoyed look. "You've made your point. Can we start having fun now?"
"All right, I guess I got little carried away." He said, amused. "Maybe you should go ahead and washed that off. And then let's hit the hot springs!"
"Yeah!" They cheered.
"Just make sure you leave your valuables in the safe." Dr. Taylor said, point at the safe.
"Good idea!" They put their dino-holders in the safe, along with the wallet and cellphone.
Dr. Taylor closes the safe and lock it. "Now we're all locked up."
"Right, let's hit the springs!" Max said as they left.
"This is gonna be great. Nothing to do but soak all my worries away in some steaming hot water." He walked up to the poster ad. " And maybe I'll go enjoy the local attractions." He left as well.
Unbeknownst to anyone, the dino-holders inside the safe is alarming, indicating the dinosaur has appeared.
The Acrocanthosaurus reared up and roared in the park.
Meanwhile, Terran and Wisp went exploring the island while the others is resting in hot springs.
"So, this is the island with steam?" He said.
He heard an alarm and pulls out his wrist band and sees the controller.
"The dinosaur has revealed itself and it's here in this island." Terran said.
They heard a roar from the town.
"And it looks like it's not far from here. Come on, Wisp. We gotta catch it before you-know-who gets the wind of it." Terran ran to the town with Wisp following behind him.
Max and Rex are relaxing in the pool, along with Chomp and Ace, who wasn't afraid of getting wet this time.
"Yeah, this water feels so good." Max said while relaxing.
"And if we get too hot, we can just jump in the ocean." Rex joked as Chomp swims on the water.
Little did they know, they're not the only ones is here to relax, Ed and Zander is here and relaxing on the other side of the pool as well.
"Coming here was one of my ideas." Zander said.
"Yeah, I just hope Dr. Z doesn't find out we're sitting around doing nothing." Ed said, hoping their boss doesn't know.
"I wouldn't exactly call this nothing." Zander said. "Soaking and relaxing can be a hard work. Besides, he gave us time off."
(Flashback)
At Zeta Point, Dr. Z, wears a face protector on his head, tells the Alpha gang.
"You fool, how am I supposed to concentrate on my inventions when I have you three in my side non-stop?" Dr. Z push them out of the room. "Now get out of here so I can get some inventing done?
(Flashback ends)
"Yeah, your right. Luckily, all he has to do is look at us and he gives us a vacation" Ed said.
"That's true. It's nice to feel appreciated for a change." Zander bends his back a bit, but gasped when he saw Chomp upside down. He turns around and saw nothing but steam. "Hmm. That's weird. All this heat makes me see things." He adjusts his glasses. "Oh well." He shrugged at it and went back to relax.
On the other side is women side, Ursula is relaxing in the pool, soaking with warm water.
"Ah. This water is heavenly and from what I heard how good these hot springs are for the skin, I can only imagine how much more beautiful I'll be." Ursula said.
On the other side of pool, Reese and Zoey is relaxing with towel on their heads, along with Paris who is swimming.
"Ah. This water is heavenly." Reese said while bathing in warm water.
"Reese, that sounds like something an old lady would say." Zoe said.
"You're right." She said, laughing with her.
Ursula tensed up. "Who's an old lady?" She looked around. "I guess I'm just hearing things. Maybe I've been marinating for too long." She shrugged.
Dr. Taylor is in the beach with sand, covering his body.
"Ah, nice and hot. Nothing like a sand bath to make you feel like a toasted marshmallow." Dr Taylor said when he feels and heard the rumble.
The ground is starting to cracked and the Acrocanthosaurus popped up and roared. Spike screamed in fright by it and the dinosaur is stomping toward him.
"Ah, help! I can't get up!" He struggled to get out of sand. "Now I'm going to be squish toasted marshmallow!" He finally breaks out of sand and crawls out of here before the dinosaur stomps on him.
Terran and Wisp is right behind the dinosaur trail.
As Max and Rex relax in the hot spring, they felt the ground shaking as Chomp and Ace swims out of water.
"What's that?!" Max exclaimed as Chomp and Ace gets out of water.
"Is it an earthquake?!" Rex asked before turns to a dinosaur is coming and Max saw it too.
An Acrocanthosaurus is heading towards the hot spring as Max and Rex puts on their towel ad left the pool. The dinosaur roared while Zander and Ed climb on the bamboo wood fence.
"Ursula, do you see this?!" Ed asked, frightened
"Take a look!" Zander pointed at the dinosaur.
"This is the women side!" Ursula throws the buckets at them, making them fall back to the pool.
"Hey, what are you two creeps doing here?" Max asked, making Ed and Zander surprised and they look up at Ursula, who climb up the fence.
"That's what all of us girls would like to know." She looked at the Max and Rex. "Where'd you come from?!" Ursula realized she's on the men's side and duck down.
"The whole Alpha gangs here." Max said.
"That's bad, but-" Rex looked at the dinosaur. "Wow, That's an Acrocanthosaurus."
"Get out of that bath, you prunes!" Ursula ripped open the bamboo fence and talked to them. "There's a dinosaur here and I intend to catch it!"
"All right." They crawled out of pool as the Acrocanthosaurus roared and heads to the hotel, stomping anything in its way.
Terran and Wisp looked at the wreckage and destruction in hot spring. The android contacts the kids.
"Kids, the Acrocanthosaurus is here." He gets a static from his wrist controller. "Hello? Are you there?" He hangs up. "Looks like we're on our own, Wisp?" Wisp barked in response and they continued tailing the dinosaur. "If they could make it on time."
Max and Rex, all dressed in clothes, ran to their hotel room to get their dino-holder.
"We've gotta get our dino-holders!" Max said.
The Alpha gang shuffles sneakily in lobby, covered with towels, without anyone see them since they can't find their clothes.
"We can't chase dinosaur in our swimsuits." Ed said.
"Is there a time to go back to the room?" Zander asked.
"Absolutely not, do you want the brats to beat us there?" Ursula said.
"Maybe we can find some clothes in this locker room." Ed said, looking at the locker room.
The Alpha gang sneaks in the locker room to get dressed to find the dinosaur.
The Acrocanthosaurus crashed into the entertainment center. People believed it was part of the entertainment, but the dinosaur snorted at his torch to snuff it out, much to the performer's surprised.
"No way, that thing's real!" He exclaimed, making everybody got up and ran away.
The Acrocanthosaurus is wreaking havoc in the entertainment by bashing around with its tail.
In the hotel, Max and Rex tried to open the safe, but they can't figure the combination for the lock.
"No use. We're gonna need the key to get this thing open." Rex said while turning the dial.
"Dad has it." Max said until Spike rushed in the room.
"Boys, there's a dinosaur! An Acrocanthosaurus just showed up!" Dr. Taylor tells them.
"We know. Where's the key to the safe?" Max asked.
"We need to get our dino-holders." Rex said.
"Right, I got it right here." He looked for the key in his robe. "Um, I wonder what I did with it. I bet I dropped it in the sand." He realized.
"What?" They both said, making him whimpered before Zoe and Reese came in.
"Hey, do you get the dino-holders?" Zoe asked.
They shook their heads for answer.
"What?!" She exclaimed.
Back with Acrocanthosaurus, the dinosaur burst out of wall and in front of it was the firefighters, holding their water hose at the dinosaur.
"Water at full pressure. Force it back inside."
They blast the water pressure at the dinosaur, but the Acrocanthosaurus was unfazed by the water.
"It's not working!'
"Watch out!"
"It's coming at us!"
Acrocanthosaurus knocked the fire trucks away while the firefighters stood there, frightened while it passes them and head to the beach.
The Alpha gang showed up in their performer outfits.
"Thanks for dropping by and welcome to our show." Ursula said to the dinosaur. "Now to kick things off, we're going to put a nasty native island curse on you."
"Nasty island curse, oh yeah!" Ed and Zander chanted, beating a drum.
"Bring out the secret curse." Ursula told them.
"Oooga booga boogaloo." They chanted before Xander pulls out the card.
"Come on out, Terry!" Xander said, holding Terry's card.
Before he summons Terry, A fire hose was thrown at them and tying around them.
"Don't worry, we'll save you!" The firefighters pulled them away from it.
"Pull men. We've got to save them from the dinosaur."
"No wait, you don't understand." Zander said.
"Don't be so brave, we know you're the performers from the show."
"We're not really brave at all." Ed said.
"Would you release us, you annoying do-gooders! He's getting away!" Ursula exclaimed before they yanked them away.
"Keep pulling them. Save them."
"I'm getting a sand-wedgie." Ed said.
Terran and Wisp is hiding in the rock, watching while following the dinosaur. The Acrocanthosaurus is staring at the Devon Island as if it remembers in the past. It roared as it remembered its mate and the child before the extinctions.
"I wondered why it stops and looking at the island." He wondered.
The D-team is looking at the dinosaur from the hotel room and they were wondering the same thing.
"It just keeps staring at Mount Devon." Zoe said, pointed at the dinosaur.
"Yeah, I wonder why?" Max asked before the earthquake shook.
"An earthquake!" Dr. Taylor exclaimed as Ace jumped out of the window.
"Ace, no! Come back!" Rex called out to him. "Where you going, Ace?"
Ace follows it to the water, but stopped, due to his fear of water as the Acrocanthosaurus is swimming to the Devon Island.
Terran is running on water while he follows it behind.
"Where are you going, Acrocanthosaurus?" He said as he ran to the island where it headed to.
A few minutes later, the kids got their dino-holders back after Spike called the room service for a spare key to the safe.
"Good to have this back again." Max said, holding his dino-holder.
"It's just too bad we didn't have him a little sooner if you know what I mean." Rex said.
"Yeah, too bad." Dr. Taylor added before turn to room service. "Well, thank you very much, sir."
"No problem, but please be aware there'll be a fifty-dollar charge for the new key on your bill when you check out." The room service said, leaving him groaned to pay a hotel bill.
"According to this, the Acrocanthosaurus is on Devon Island." Rex said while looking at his dino-holder.
"So, what are we waiting for?" Max said before their dino-holder received an incoming call.
"Max? Rex? Zoe? Are you there?" Terran is speaking through them. "Respond?"
"Terran, where are you?" Rex responded him. "There's a dinosaur called the Acrocanthosaurus and it's on Devon Island."
"I know, I'm tailing it as we speak." Terran respond back. "I'm on the island with him."
"You have, can you at least stop that dinosaur before it hurts somebody?" Zoe asked.
"I wish I could, but I don't think it's not attacking anything." He said on his controller. "It's probably looking for something."
"What is it looking for, Terran?" Max asked.
"I don't know, but I'm going to find out what." Terran said. "I'll be waiting for you in the island." He signs off.
"Come on, we gotta help him." He said.
"Right." Both Rex and Zoe said.
"Hold it." Reese said, stopping them. "The ferry shuts down when there's a seismic activity so there's no we could get there and it's too dangerous anyway."
"But we gotta go and Terran is there." Max said.
"We can't just let it be. What if he goes crazy again and hurts somebody?" Rex said.
"Besides, if we wait, the Alpha gang beat us to him." Zoe added.
"Reese is right, it's too dangerous. Even we could get there, we'll have to wait." Dr. Taylor said, agreeing with Reese. "Besides, Terran can handled himself."
The kids will have no choice but to wait until the ferry reopens the next morning.
As the night falls, Terran and Wisp is observing the Acrocanthosaurus while hiding and following it.
"What is it looking for? And why come to this island?" He asked himself.
They followed it until they see it staring at something on the rock formations.
"Huh? Could it be..." He said while he saw something on the rock as well.
Everyone is sleeping in the rooms as the small earthquake shook, making Chomp and Ace restless.
"Hey, what's the matter?" Max asked as he woke up from the earthquake.
"Another earthquake?" Rex woke up as well.
"Don't worry, guys." Max said as the earthquake stopped. "See. It just stopped."
"You know, they say that animals can usually predict natural disasters" Rex said, stating the facts. Max looked at him. "What if they're trying to tell us that volcano really is about to erupt? Maybe these guys can sense something that we can't."
"But if the volcano is really about to blow, then why would Acrocanthosaurus want to go over there?" Max said.
"Yeah, that'd be pretty dumb so much about that theory, I guess." He said.
"Hey Rex, if that volcano does erupt, then that dinosaur gonna get really hurt." Max tells Rex.
"Hugh, Terran. He's on that island, too. We gotta tell him about the volcano will erupt." Rex said.
"Then we got to save them!" Max and Rex got up and left the hotel room.
They sneak out on their tip toe to be quiet as they move.
"Shhh." Max shushed.
"Where do you think you're going?" Zoe surprised them. "I'm sure you weren't planning on leaving us behind." She smirked.
"No." Max said.
The next morning, Dr. Taylor is up and knocking on door to Reese and Zoe's room.
"Open up, Reese! Come on, it's an emergency!" Spike exclaimed. "Room service." He said in high-pitched voiced.
The door opens and Dr. Taylor backs away in surprised. Reese comes out with messed-up hair.
"I hope you had a good reason for this, Dr. Taylor." Reese said in tired voice.
"I do, the boys and their dinosaurs are gone! I don't know where they are!" He said.
"So.." She said.
"Are Zoe and Paris still here?" Spike asked.
"Zoe said she was going to go bowling. Come to think of it, that does sound odd." Reese said, went to get changed.
"Huh, I'll bet you they've gone to Devon Island." He realized the kids went to the island.
The D-team and their dinosaur arrived on the Devon Island from their rowboat.
"All right, now that we're here. We've really got to find that Acrocanthosaurus and Terran quick." Max said.
"Before that volcano blows." Rex added, looking at the smoke from volcano.
Paris went in front and barked at something.
"What's wrong?" Zoe asked her.
They heard a roar somewhere in the jungle.
"That must be it." Max said.
"It's close too." Rex said.
"Let's go" He said as they ran until they heard a familiar laughter.
"Looks like you loser took a slow boat, Hi." Ursula said while Ed and Zander laughed.
"Old lady." Zoe said.
"How many times have I asked you to stop saying that?!" She exclaimed. "Nugh, I should've known it was you when I heard those words back in the hot springs!" Ursula growled as the flying jet flew in.
"What's that thing?" Rex asked as the jet flew down a little and released the Alpha droids that dropped down on the D-team.
"Stop intruders. Stop intruders. Stop intruders." The droids repeated the lines as they convert to robot mode.
"Not these metal robot things." Max said as the droids surrounds them.
"Let's give it up for Dr. Z and his timing for bringing in the droids." Ursula said.
"The island wind smiled down upon us and bring us those robots." Ed said, beating the drum he brings with.
"Sorry, we can't stay and play ourselves but we've got to collect our dinosaur before this big bad volcano erupts." Zander said.
"It's not yours." Max retorted as the droids grabbed him. "Get away!"
"Let me go, you creep!" Zoe struggled the droids grabbed her as well.
"Leave us alone!" Rex said while struggled.
The Alpha gang laughed, gloat until they received a call from their Alpha scanner.
"Wahh! Dr. Z!" Zander exclaimed as Ursula and Ed flinched.
"Quit standing there cackling, you numbskulls! There's work to be done!" Dr. Z yelled from the Alpha scanner.
"That Acrocanthosaurus is the very dinosaur I need to complete my research and finish this invention and I'm counting on the you three of you to bring it back here." Dr. Z said while holding the welding torch.
"If you fail me, you can stay on that island! Have I made myself perfectly clear?!" Dr. Z said.
"Yes, sir!" They said as Dr. Z signs off.
"The master's wind blows harshly." Ed said, beating the drums.
"Stop doing that!" She yells at Ed. "Okay, let's get going."
"Right behind ya!" They said, following Ursula in the jungle.
"The Alpha gang is getting away!" Max shouted as the droids picked him up as Chomp biting the droid's leg.
"We've gotta get loose before it's too late!" Rex said while being pinned down by more droids with Ace chewing on one of them.
"There are too many of these things! I can't reach my dino-holder!" He struggled.
Paris barked and ram against the droids.
"That's using your head, Paris. Now we can do some damage." Zoe said, turned Paris into the card and zaps it to her hand. "Go! Dino Slash!" She swipes the card on her holder. "Go Parasaurolophus, Bloom!" Paris is summoned in full-sized Parasaurolophus.
Paris lands and roared at the Alpha droids, knocking them away.
"Go on, guys! Leave them to Paris and me." She said, whacking the droids with stick she found.
"Alright, thanks Zoe." Rex said.
"Come on, Chomp. Hurry, Rex!" Max said as he and Rex and their dinosaurs ran to catch up to the Alpha gang while Zoe and Paris hold them off.
Max, Rex, and their dinosaurs went up hill to look for the Alpha gang or the dinosaur.
"They couldn't have gone too far." He said before the earthquake shooked.
"Look at the volcano." Rex pointed at the volcano with smoke coming out. "I think it's erupting."
"Then we're running out of time." Max said before calling out. "Acrocanthosaurus, you've got to get away from the volcano!"
"Shhhh!" Someone shushed them.
"Who said that?" Rex asked.
"Is it the Alpha gang?" Max added.
"Over here!" Terran whispered at them.
"Terran." They said as they rushed over to him.
"What are you doing, Terran? And why did you shush us?" Max asked.
"Keep your voice down, you two." Terran told them. "I found out why the Acrocanthosaurus came to this island."
"Why?" Rex inquired.
"Because of that." He pointed where the Acrocanthosaurus is and it looked at the fossilized remains of its mate and the child embedded on the rock.
"Look at that." Max said, going to see the fossil remains.
"Careful, Max. Don't get so close." Rex warned him.
"They look like Acrocanthosaurus fossils and this one's just a baby." Max said, looking at the fossils.
The Acrocanthosaurus approached them, thinking they are harming its family.
"Max, get away from it!" Terran drag him away as the dinosaur roared at them. "Run!" He shouted as the dinosaur tried to bashed them with its tail.
Max turned Chomp into a card and zaps to his hand. "Dino Slash!" He swipes the card on his holder. "Go Triceratops, Roar!" Chomp is summoned in full-sized Triceratops.
Back with Dr. Taylor and Reese, they noticed the sky turns into a battlefield.
"That looks to me like a battlefield." Dr. Taylor said.
"Uh, doctor." Reese said.
"Yeah?" He said, noticed there's no water as the battlefield changes to the barren land with volcano. "Did we run out of gas or something?"
"The oceans vanished." She said.
"Reese, Dr. Taylor." Zoe said, running to them. "We need help."
"Zoe." Reese said.
"Where are Max and Rex gone?" Spike asked. "We've got to get off this island before that volcano erupts."
"I know." Zoe said before earthquake shooked.
From the volcano which the battle is not far from here, Chomp and Acrocanthosaurus is facing off. The Acrocanthosaurus attacks, hitting Chomp back, but he charges back. Acrocanthosaurus whirls around to avoid the attack, then knocks Chomp back again.
"Gotta hang in there, Chomp!" Max calls out to him while they hid behind the rocks.
"That is one powerful dinosaur." Rex observed.
"I think maybe it's trying to protect that baby fossils" He guessed.
"Despite seeing its young and mate, it doesn't know how long is it the card." Terran said.
It bites at Chomp, but he dodges and bites onto Acrocanthosaurus' tail, but it bites onto his tail and throws him through a boulder.
"Hugh!" They gasped at it as the volcano is almost erupting.
"That volcano is gonna blow!" Max exclaimed, noticed the volcano is erupting.
"I don't think the volcano is erupting." Terran said.
The Acrocanthosaurus roared at him as Chomp gets up and charges again, but Acrocanthosaurus knocks him back with its tail, then jumps way high up in the air.
"Look out!" Max shouted at Chomp.
The Acrocanthosaurus comes down and slammed down, but missed when Chomp move out of its way.
"Maybe you should use a move card." Rex suggested to Max.
"Yeah." Max swipe the move card to his dino-holder. "Lightning Strike!"
Chomp gathers the lightning energy to his horns and blast it at the Acrocanthosaurus, who got shocked and knocked back to the ground.
"Yes, it worked!" Max cheered, "But what's that?"
They saw the river of lava which is not too close from the battlefield as The Acrocanthosaurus got up, but almost tired from the hit.
"Still wants to fight." Rex thinks.
"Hit it one more time!" Max called out as Chomp charges again, but is hit away by Terry.
"Oh no" Max said.
"It's Terry." Terran said as they heard a laughter and look where the Alpha gang is.
"Why don't you just go away and leave us alone?!" Rex exclaimed.
"Why would we do that? Now that you've done all the hard work for us." Ursula remarked.
"That dinosaur is so worn out that it's ours for the taking." Zander added.
"The foul winds of thievery surround you." Ed said, beating the drum.
"You won't get away this time!" Max retorted.
"I just love it when you little brats get all worked up and start making empty threats." Ursula amused. "Finish them all, Terry and we'll take that dinosaur home!"
Terry roared and charged at the Acrocanthosaurus and tried biting but missed as the Acrocanthosaurus tried to bite back. Chomp tries to stop him, but Terry catapults him away with his tail, defeating him.
"Oh no, Chomp." Max said, seeing his dinosaur is defeating
"Chomp used up all his energy in that last battle." Rex said.
"I got ya!" He ran over to the card and picked it up.
"And we fell right into their trap." He added.
"I guessed it's Wisp turn now." Terran was about to summon Wisp, the volcano erupts and explodes the flying debris.
"Uh-oh, run!" They fled from the falling debris from the volcano.
"Things are getting a little hot. Maybe we should go before we get hit by all the rocks and ash." Zander said, covering his head.
"Not to mention, the searing lava!" Ed added.
"You'll stay right there and fight until we've got that dinosaur in our clutches!" Ursula tells them while hid behind the rock.
"Use the move card!" Ed told Zander.
"Now seems like a good time for Volcano Burst!" Zander swipes the move card in his Alpha scanner.
Terry gathers the fires in his jaws, swinging his head and fires on the ground, burning the Acrocanthosaurus, defeating it.
"No, the card." Terran sees the dinosaur defeated as the battlefield faded.
"He's right, we gotta go get that card now." Rex said.
"In your dreams, you runts and punk. That card is mine." Zander is about to put to grab the card, but the steam is blocking him.
"Time to retrieve the card." Terran is about to grab the card, the steam is blocking his way.
"Come on, boys! Let's go!" Spike said as they ran towards them.
"Dad!" Max said.
"We need to get off at this island right away." He said.
"Well, what about the card?" He asked.
"Don't worry, there'll be other chances." Rex assures him.
"Come on, Max" Zoe said to Max.
They hurried to the boat, leaving Max and Terran, who turns to the Alpha gang.
"I'm gonna get that card back from you someday." He vowed.
"Uh guys, I should mention that the volcano is-" Terran explained.
"Come on, Terran. Let's go" Max pushed Terran to the boat.
"And that completes yet another successful mission." Ursula picked up the Acrocanthosaurus card. "Now let's hear it for the ever-powerful Alpha gang!"
"Yay!" Ed and Zander cheered.
"So how about a little victory dance?" Ed said, beating his drum.
"Victory, victory, we got the card. Victory, victory, it wasn't so hard. Victory, victory, we got the card." They did the victory dance, but Ursula stops them. "You're missing a beat, Ed!"
Ed beat the drum until the volcanic steam is sprouting on them and ran away to the Zeta Point.
"I was an off-beat!" Ed cried.
"We'll talk about it later!" Ursula tells him while they run.
The D-team rode on the motor boat and sped away from the sun.
"Anyway, you can speed things up. That volcano is about to erupt!" Spike told the driver.
"Dr. Taylor, you realized that volcano is not erupting." Terran told him.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Dr. Taylor asked.
"According to the geographic volcano article, The Mount Devon is lying dormant and it's not erupting for the next hundred years."
"The young man is right, it has lying dormant for hundred years or so." The fisherman said.
"What about the smoke and fire?" Max asked.
"Oh, that column of smokes been coming out of it since I've been around. But if you saw fire, you must be dreaming." He added.
"So apparently all those smaller eruptions we thought we were seeing we're only happening within the battlefield." Reese said.
The D-team realized the eruptions only happened in the battlefield.
"Dad, you made us run away for nothing. We could've stayed and fought to get the card back." Max tells his dad.
"Erm, I suppose that could have been possibility." Dr. Taylor said, mistaken from the eruption.
"That Acrocanthosaurus was willing to sacrifices everything just to protect those fossils." Rex said.
"I wonder if those fossils were his family." Max added.
"Considered the fact that dinosaur has been preserved in the card who knows how long." Terran said.
"I hope the Alpha gang will just leave them alone." Rex hoped.
"And now the Acrocanthosaurus card is in their hands now." He added.
"Acrocanthosaurus, I promise you somehow I'll get you back from those creeps." Max vowed that he will get the dinosaur back.
Dr. Z is welding his invention together and he is almost finishing it in the lab.
"Hehehe, the Acrocanthosaurus is mine! Now I can complete my work!" He said, happily. "My ultimate invention will be stronger, faster, and better on than anything devised! I am a genius!" He laughed, but he smelled something. "Wait, what's that I smell burning?" He yelped in surprised as his beard is caught on fire. "Hot! Hot!"
