This is the story of hero in training Katsuki Bakugou being transported into the world of Melromarc and is the new cardinal shield hero in their darkest time of need. Bakugou will go on many new adventures in this fantasy world to become their world's greatest hero whether they want him to or not.

26. Chapter 26: Battle for the Vassal Book

Chapter 26: Battle for the Vassal Book

In an isolated forested area, lay what looks to be abandoned ruins. But they were anything but abandoned. Now they were occupied by the evil Book vassal wielder as his headquarters and labs, where he conducted his vile experiments.

Inside the lair the Book wielder himself Kyo Ethnina was looking at a green regeneration tube, there he witnessed the body of his late partner in crime Kazuki being regrown inside.

"Can you really bring him back?" said a voice and when Kyo turned toward it, the source was from one of the two bodyguard/harem girls of Kazuki's.

"Of course, I've already told you that I could, just look yourself." Kyo said as he stepped away to show the new body to the girls who immediately ran up to touch the tube.

"Kazuki! We'll serve you again soon and make those that did this to you will suffer. Though how were you able to recover his body?" the other girl said and then asked Kyo.

"I didn't, his old body is basically dragon shit now. With that blood sample, I had to regrow his body from scratch. But he'll be good as new soon enough, even with a new nose." Kyo responds smirking to himself.

The two girls turn back toward Kyo to bow, "We thank you again for doing this. What do you want us to do now?" one girl asked with the other nodding with her.

Kyo pointed his hand toward a hallway, "Just head for the surgery chamber with the other girls, I'll give you both the means to enact your revenge soon enough." he ordered with a big smirk on his face, knowing what "upgrades" he'll be giving these girls soon enough.

The two nodded and bowed to their new leader as they headed their way to await for Kyo in the surgery room.

However as soon as the two head their way out a new figure emerges from the shadows, this one being a green-haired girl in a white and gray armored kimono-like dress.

Kyo smiled at the girl, "And how may I help you my dear?" he asked her.

The girl nodded and then spoke, "Kyo I came to request your permission to head toward Sickle to deal with the Otherworld heroes, especially the shield. I know you're busy with other things to help protect our world, so allow me to kill these evil bastards and I'll remove this burden from your shoulders.".

Kyo looked curious at the girl for a few seconds while scratching his chin, he then finally shrugged, "If you insist, knock yourself out. I will really appreciate it if you make them suffer for what they did to me in the other world. Just make sure you get that sword I created for you, not only does it have great power, but it'll be a good luck charm." he responds to her as he also smugly smiles again.

The girl bowed again, "Thank you for trusting me Kyo. I'll deal with them and be back in a few days with the shield hero's weapon and head on my belt." she finished and walked her way out of the lab to pick up the sword Kyo made for her and whatever else she needed for the trip until she was fully out of the room.

Once she was out of earshot, Kyo laughed, "Haha, Idiots! Just like dogs, I tell them what to do and they follow through whatever I say." he mocked them as he walked his way out of the regeneration chamber room.

Eventually, he made his way to an office room with a large desk of his as Kyo finally took a seat by it.

This desk was filled with many scientific and magical objects, among them was a large crystal ball. Kyo looks into the ball as he uses his magic to activate the magical device. Within the ball itself, smoke brewed throughout the sphere until it finally formed an image, this image being of modern-day Japan, inside a dark room with a fat slob of a Japanese young adult in his underwear and undershirt playing some PC game.

Kyo laughed at the moving image, "Ha, what a worthless loser. No ambition, no future, no nothing, just a waste of space. And to think this waste of space was once me." he said to himself, and indeed the slob in the crystal ball was his past self long before he got his hands on the vassal book.

"To think how much my life had changed since then. Back then I was just some shut in loser who played his favorite MMO game all day and night long. My real-world life sucked with nothing but shitty people in a shitty world, whether it was in school, at home, at college, or whatever, just shit I was forced to smell every day. About the only thing to make any day worth it was one living in my MMO, there I can be whoever I wanted and there was no one else to tell me otherwise! Or so I thought, all because I did some little cheats with a few mods those damn admins terminated my whole account! Not just a small ban or freeze on my account, NO THEY DELETED THE WHOLE DAMN THING FROM EXISTENCE! Years of playing, years of build up, years of both real and virtual sweat and tears! ALL GONE!" he says then yells even swatting away a bunch of stuff off his desk in deep rage of being reminded of that day.

From the crystal ball the account deletion part was playing out, with past Kyo looking absolutely shattered emotionally and mentally, the ball changed images again to show a little bit later with past Kyo now opening the window in his apartment and then jumping out of it, ending the slob's life for good. Kyo continued watching it as he finally smiled again, "Yeah I had nothing to live for after that, maybe I could've moved on to another game, but then what? Years later that gets deleted as well and I wasted more years for nothing? But it looks like in hindsight that was the best decision I could've ever made, because after that I got reincarnated into this world by some necromancer messing with souls of other universes and putting me in an originally stillborn baby's body. But he made the mistake of deciding to raise me for the purpose of his studies of possible immortality. He didn't suspect me of adding deadly poison to his drink one night and just stealing all of his research all to myself. And with me completing that work I can even beat death itself! Now forever in a world of magic and mysticism, I can now be what I couldn't in my old world, now I have all the power I can ever want." he says with the image of the ball changing again, this time to images of a young Kyo playing with a younger version of the green-haired girl.

"This was an opportunity I didn't want to waste, with all of this power I can now do whatever I want with no shitty developers or parents to tell me otherwise!", he then looks back at his book weapon, "This book for example belonged to someone else before, but by my genius work I was able to take it away from his rotting corpse and now it is mine forever. Soon I will rule over this world, and then many more after it. Perhaps after enough consolidation and build-up of my empire I could even invade my old world as a test run on invading modern age worlds and take it over. Oh that will be so good, those who looked down at me before will now bow before me as their immortal god Emperor. I have a long long list of people I so want to torture once I take over and I will make sure each and every name is marked including those damn game admins!" he shouts to himself once more as he got up and spins around to his excitement of what he plans to do with all the worlds that he'll conquer as a multi-dimensional Emperor.

Eventually though he sits back down, "But I think I've had enough reminiscing of the past and thinking about the future. Right now let's get back to studying." he says to himself as he uses his magic to make the crystal ball change once more.

The smoke inside the ball this time forms a different image, of what looks to be a large building with many teenagers in uniforms walking past a large entrance to the building. Amongst the teenagers was a nervous young man with messy green hair, Kyo knew who this was, Izuku Midoryia or "Deku". But what Kyo was interested in was the other young man walking past him, this one with spiky blonde hair. Katsuki Bakugou himself was on his way to his entrance exam orientation at the school he dreamed of getting into.

Kyo smiles as he watches on, "Ok then Katsuki Bakugou, let's see how well you do in this U.A. place?"

Far away from Kyo's lab was the Kingdom of Sickle once more.

Within its capital's castle was a gathering of its heroes returning home as well as the heroes from another world. These heroes being Larc, Glass, and Kizuna along with Bakugou and his crew.

Since making it back to the castle Kizuna had been endlessly scolding both Glass and Larc after they explained what they were doing with Bakugou's sidekicks world.

In the same room, Therese was listening in as her friends got a big tongue-lashing like she had to endure a few days ago, "I still can't believe all of you thought this was even remotely a good idea! Just killing off entire worlds full of people!? You're no different than the likes of this Kyo guy or even the Demon Dragon!" Kizuna continued scolding the two.

Glass tried to explain the situation to her friend better, "Look Kizuna, I know it sounds bad but we were only doing this to help everyone else in our world, we just-"

"If this is even true, would you live with yourselves knowing billions of dead souls are on your hands!? You couldn't come up with any other solution!?" Kizuna continues to yell at them with Glass unable to argue back to what she was saying.

Larc tried to speak for himself, "Look Kizuna, we were not trying to kill entire worlds. We merely challenge the cardinal heroes to fight to the death, and the victorious party would be able to save their world and the loser would've failed to save there's."

Bakugou then laughed, "Ha, that's rich coming from you 3! Last I recall you ran away from our last battle when you nearly lost yourselves."

Larc wasn't going to let that slide by, "Hey we were not cowering away, you just didn't kill us fast enough to-"

Kizuna then just interrupted him, "It does not matter how indirect you were about the situation, you still participated in it knowing for a fact "winning" meant killing entire worlds!"

"We also weren't exactly given a notice ahead of time about this." Rino said with the other sidekicks nodding in agreement.

Larc wanted to debate back against the arguments especially those of Bakugou's, but even he can't argue against an old friend's good points.

Therese then spoke up, "It was not something we were glad to conclude to, but it was all we could think of when we thought you were gone forever. But with you here now we can open our options up that don't involve killing innocents."

Glass nods to her friend Therese then looks back at Kizuna, "Indeed, you being here now has brought down so many burdens we were forced to bear." she then looks toward Bakugou and his crew as Glass bowed before them, "We also can't thank you enough for finding Kizuna for us Sir Katsuki Bakugou. We owe you a huge debt for finding her and we hope to amend our grievances from before with you and the other cardinal heroes." she says to the shield hero.

Bakugou though didn't look impressed, "Yeah yeah, say what words you want Cateyes. But actions are what will convince any bit of me, not words."

Kizuna nods back in agreement, "Yeah you three have a lot to make up for what you did. But I still want you 3 to at least apologize for your horrible idea."

Glass nodded back and looked toward Katsuki, "I understand, I apologize for what I've done in your world and will do whatever I can to make it up to you." she atones back.

Therese then spoke up, "Indeed, I also apologize and hope we can start a new beginning for our worlds.".

Larc remained silent for a little bit not wanting to say such things to Bakugou but Kizuna gave a mad look in his eyes and forced him to capitulate, "Fine, I'm sorry for what I did in your guy's world and I promise to not do such things again." he apologized himself.

"I'm still not convinced." Bakugou says back with the sidekicks also not impressed with Larc's halfhearted apology.

Kizuna was getting irritated with the shield hero, "Bakugou what else do you want them to do?! We are trying to stop the fighting between each other so we can focus on stopping the waves together!" she argued, with her now knowing how bad the waves were and that it was what lead her friends to do what they did before, she had to do something about them.

"I can care less about what happens in this world! I just want to kill that four-eyed bastard, make sure he stays permanently dead, then head back to save my sidekicks world, and then get back to my own homeworld." Bakugou responds.

Kizuna sighed and responded to that, "Well I want more than to just save our own worlds, I want to make sure no other worlds will suffer at the expense of saving others. I don't know how but I want to find a way."

Daven then spoke up, "I doubt it will be that easy if your own friends couldn't find any other solution themselves." he said to her.

"Then I will work harder than my friends did and find a way, if I gave up that easily I would've killed myself back in the Labyrinth years ago." Kizuna responds still wanting to maintain the resolve which just makes her friends look more guilty than before.

"Well do whatever the hell you want, I just want to kill bookworm and stop the waves on my sidekicks world." Bakugou responds.

"Well you're not the only one who wants to end that piece of shit, so get in line Kiddo." Larc says back.

"I TOLD YOU TO NOT CALL ME THAT FARMER BOY!" Bakugou exploded at Larc making Kizuna sigh at him again, she was surprised at how unreactive Neia, Rino, Daven, and even Rifana had been with Bakugou's attitude since she'd been with him. They seem to have been used to it by now.

"Ah, young master there you are." said a random voice that got the group's attention, they turned to see a bunch of high-ranking officials coming into the large room as they approached Larc, "It's good to see you again young master." the official said to him as Larc now looked annoyed.

"Thank you, but please don't call me that." Larc says to the officials with an annoyed look.

Bakugou and the shield party now looked intrigued, "Kizuna, is Larc a big named official around here?" Neia asked with the others wondering as well.

But before Kizuna could say anything, Therese answered for her, "Oh Larc is actually the young king of Sickle."

The shield group was now all shocked by the revelation, "Wait you mean the actual in power king of this whole country?" Rino asked wanting to make sure this wasn't like an Aultcray situation, but Therese and even Glass nodded to her.

Bakugou though smirked at the idea, "Ha, that explains a lot. Only someone so inbred can be so stupid." he mocked Larc who quickly got offended by the remark.

"Hey for your information my parents and both of my grandparents were not related to each other Kiddo! And don't call me young master!" Larc yelled at Bakugou.

"Yeah say what you want young master farmer boy." Bakugou continued to mock him loving the tables being turned on the nicknaming game, with Larc looking irritated by that stupid nickname.

The official though spoke up again, "Young mast-I mean your majesty. Can I speak once more, it's actually important news."

"Yeah fine go ahead." Larc responds casually.

The official nodded and explained the news, "We are receiving numerous threats from the nation of Raybul and their allies, they are saying we stole their vassal Katana and are threatening to declare war on us."

Larc sighed to that not looking surprised, "Of course they are. Try to sweet talk their embassy as much as you can for now and we'll figure out what to do about this." Larc says to the officials who bow and head on their way to the embassies.

Neia looked a little concerned after hearing that, "I'm deeply sorry for starting such a fiasco. I wish I could give you guys the weapon back, but I can't even if I wanted to." she apologized and then stuck her arm out with the katana with her fingers open to show off her that the sword was basically attached on her hand like a magnet.

Larc though shakes his head toward Neia, "No need to be sorry about anything, the Katana chosed you as its new master. It's yours just as much as the scythe is mine or Kizuna's weapon is hers."

"Doesn't seem like everyone agrees on it though." Rino added in with the others nodding in agreement as well.

Glass then spoke up, "I imagine Kyo is also lying and manipulating their leaders to make our lives harder or that he thought it was funny." she added with no one else disagreeing to that.

Bakugou though didn't look as concerned as the others about this, "I don't see how any of this is exactly our problem." he said casually which immediately struck a nerve in Larc.

"Uh Kiddo, millions of lives are at risk here and you don't care what happens to them?! What kind of a hero are you?!" he scolds Bakugou from his seeming lack of empathy.

"That's rich coming from you considering you had zero issues before killing billions just to save your own asses when things got too hard on yourself young master farmer boy." Bakugou responds.

"Hey, we told you we had our reasons, and stop calling me young master!" Larc argued back which didn't convince either Bakugou or his sidekicks.

Kizuna knew she had to be the mediator to all of this, "Ok enough, both of you. But Bakugou this is serious, if war is on the horizon we need to do what we can to be heroes and stop it. If the waves are as bad as you guys describe we can't waste our resources on things like this."

"If you want to stop this war nonsense we need to put a permanent end to Bookworm if he really is the one manipulating those katana-worshiping idiots. That is one thing we can agree on, stopping Bookworm. After he's out though like I said we're going back to my sidekicks world and you and your genocidal friends are on your own." Bakugou responds.

"Will you stop calling them-Ugh, alright for now we'll focus on stopping Kyo and his evil for good. Still I hope you will eventually be willing to help me figure out a way to stop the waves for all of our worlds." Kizuna requested hoping that the shield hero was willing to try.

"My main concern is the world I was summoned. But if there is a way to stop them I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you how I stop the waves in my sidekicks world before I go back to my homeworld if I can even get back to you at all once we're out of here. That is if your genocidal friends don't try another stunt like before in which I'm not telling shit to them." Bakugou responds back, secretly he doesn't want any world with innocent people to burn by the waves including this one, but he still doesn't trust all of Kizuna's friends particularly Larc who felt the same back.

Kizuna nodded to that, "Alright, at least that's a start." she then turned toward her friends, "Now we can work together and stop whatever evil comes our way." she continued.

Glass and Therese smiled and nodded in agreement, Larc though continued to give Bakugou a stern look, "Before I can even think of agreeing to work with Kiddo I want him to do something for me." he responds with this now worrying Kizuna, Glass, and Therese.

"And what is that young master?" Bakugou responds as he crosses his arms already knowing where this is going.

Larc then pointed to Therese, "I want you to break Therese's curse first. Remove it and we'll fully cooperate from now on." he demanded which made Therese look nervous with Larc making this about her now.

Bakugou already looked annoyed knowing Larc was going to bring that up. Daven then spoke up, "I'm able to break it, however it will be up to my leader to decide if he wants me to or not." he explained as he turned to the shield hero, though he knew in advance what he was going to say.

"No!" Bakugou answered bluntly.

Kizuna immediately got on him, "No!? Bakugou we're allies now! We need to cooperate to defeat Kyo and the waves, so please at least think of the bigger picture?"

"I am thinking of the bigger picture. These 3 idiots tried to kill us just a few weeks ago and I've yet to see them prove that they won't just do a stunt like that again. So better to cripple them now and keep them at a disadvantage from trying again." Bakugou responds not changing his mind.

Kizuna sighed and knew she wasn't going to get through Bakugou's stubborn mind and turned to his sidekicks, "Guys we're all friends now, think of what we can accomplish at our greatest strength. Don't you agree with me?" she pleas to the sidekicks hoping one will try to convince Bakugou to change his mind.

However, the sidekicks decided to look at each other silently for a few seconds already making up their minds.

Rino then spoke up, "Kizuna we want to help you, but we can't just forget your friends tried to kill us and Sir Bakugou with the intention to then doom our world."

Daven nodded to her and spoke up, "And as he just said, these 3 have yet to prove that we can fully trust you to just not do that again. Or are even truly sorry for what they did."

Rifana then spoke up, "Larc even tried to recruit me to leave my world behind and allow my reborn village to be destroyed along with all the children in it to die off to only save Raphtalia, Kiel, and myself. This was all during when they were just trying to kill the spirit tortoise, so even then they weren't going to stop afterward."

Kizuna now looked concerned and turned to the new katana hero, "Neia, you've been with Larc and Glass more than anyone else, and helped you escape, surely you know they wouldn't do such things anymore right?"

Neia scratched the back of her head as she looked at Kizuna in silence until she spoke up, "I wish I could, but other than Therese your friends showed no true remorse in their actions, they just make up excuses and try to justify their actions over and over. Even Glass, to be honest only feels bad now because it upsets you not because she thought it was wrong. Which was the kind of mindset no different then what the Bow and Spear cardinal heroes had, and they nearly allowed my world to be destroyed. Until I see them leave such things behind and feel truly sorry for what they did I can't trust them either." she responds even with some sadness in her tone. Glass not far also started to look ashamed of what Neia said.

Kizuna didn't know what to say now with all of Bakugou's sidekicks siding with the shield hero. Inside she understood all of their points, it's hard to ignore what horrible things her old friends tried to do, and fully agrees with the shield group. But at the same time, she just wanted to stop these waves and move on from such grudges for the greater good.

Unfortunately for the hunter hero, Larc was done remaining silent, "Well I don't care what all of you think of me, this is not about me and Glass, this is for Therese and she should be relieved from the spell you put on her."

Bakugou saw through what Larc was doing, "Oh quiet with the sympathetic talk, she joined you and Cateyes on your mission to invade my sidekicks world and tried to kill all of us. I'm not giving you the chance to do a stunt like that again, you've yet to convince me you won't otherwise."

Kizuna sighed at how this was going nowhere and tried to think of something, "Bakugou why don't we-"

But she was then interrupted by Larc, "Well I'm not asking you anymore Kiddo, as the King of this land I'm ordering you to relieve Therese of her curse." he demanded sternly which surprised his friends including Kizuna.

"Larc what are you doing?!" Kizuna tried to ask but Bakugou interrupted her now looking mad at Larc.

"Oh so you're using your royalty card now are you young master? Well guess what pal, I'm not your subject nor did I swear loyalty to you, so your "authority" means jackshit to me." Bakugou raised his voice already not liking what Larc was trying to do.

Kizuna tried to get things back to normal again, "Please why don't we-"

Larc once more interrupted her now getting increasingly pissed off at Bakugou, "You are in my land in my castle you evil bastard! And were granted service from my friend Ethnobalt to find Neia. So you owe me for those services!" he demanded once more with the two heroes getting near head to head now.

"I don't owe you jackshit you inbred idiot! You think I wanted all of this bullshit!? You think I wanted that bastard bookworm to be screwing around with my sidekicks world?! To me, the fact you couldn't kill him and find another way of saving your world is just proof of your own incompetence as a shitty hero!"

Therese now tried to speak up, "Larc just forget about me, and let's just-"

But Larc just ignored her and continued to argue with Bakugou, "Well Therese is a citizen of my kingdom, and it's my job to protect her! So I am being a hero now and trying to save her!"

"Oh so if an army invades your nation with the intention of destroying it and then you kick their asses out and cripple a third of their army, are you going to give them free medical aid because they demand it from you?" Bakugou remarks back with this argument continuing on.

"Don't try to make me the bad guy in this situation, you shouldn't throw stones in glass houses yourself!" Larc yelled.

"And what the hell does that mean young master!?" Bakugou demanded

"I've heard all the horrible things you did in your own world! Killing off kings, stealing from a church, robbing people of their properties, and even raping women! You call yourself a hero after all of that!?" Larc yells.

Daven looked at Larc in a deadpan way, "It seems he listens to much of Trinock's and the council's propaganda." he remarks.

"And Balmus's propaganda as well." Rino also remarked.

Bakugou of course argued back with Larc, "And you just believe the words of a racist church and suppressive government?!" Bakugou then reached and pulled out a piece of paper from his shield storage, "I was down at that Raybul place for a bit, and look at the nice things they say about you Mr. "I believe whatever any government propaganda says"!" he insults back and the paper was the wanted poster that showed off the villainized caricatures of Larc, Neia, and Glass.

Larc continued to grow mad as he swiped away the poster, "I'm still the king of this place and my word is the law, and I once more order you to free my friend from her curse now or there will be dire consequences!"

"I not listening to jackshit from you, especially not from a tyrant who abuses his power when he doesn't get what he wants like a crybaby!"

Larc's nerve finally broke, "Oh so you want me to be a tyrant?! Then I will be that tyrant to you!"

Kizuna couldn't believe all of this, "Larc can you please just-"

But Larc ignored her and yelled at Bakugou, "Then on this day forth, I forbid all services of the kingdom to be used by the offworld shielder and those who dare associate with him! No inns, no weapons and armor dealers, no food services or markets, absolutely nothing! You'll be treated as the scum you are! Now leave my castle!"

"Larc! Stop this now!" Kizuna yelled at her friend that continued to not listen.

Bakugou himself finally turns away, "Fine! You're not the first inbred idiot who tried all he could to stop me from growing stronger! I can find and kill that bookworm bastard myself! And when you and Cateyes show up again in my sidekicks world I won't hesitate to blow up those empty heads of yours!" he yells and finally walks away from Larc who has his arms crossed, "Come on! Let's just get out of here!" Bakugou orders his sidekicks who nod and follow their leader, this scene is familiar enough to Neia and Rino and didn't hesitate to follow the same lead as their hero in the same situation as before.

But as they were about to leave Larc said, "Hey wait Neia, look since you helped us escape from the prison of exhaustion and helped us escape Raybul I don't think it is fair for you to suffer from the same punishment as Bakugou, so just for you I grant you permission to-AH!" but he got interrupted and knocked on his feet by a blast of lightning from Neia's Katana who herself didn't look amused.

"Do you think trying to kiss up to me will make me want to abandon my leader and my friends?" Neia immediately scolds Larc.

Larc tried to defend himself as he stood back up, "No no, kid-I mean Neia I was just-"

"To me you're no different than the likes of Aultcray or Piece of shit now. Only supporting those that you like while doing all you can to cripple those you don't like whether they deserve it or not. You've done horrible things yourself and then try to repeatedly justify them while condemning others of lesser things. I will never work under the likes of unrepentant hypocrites, so take that exception you gave me and go to hell with it." Neia scolded Larc as she continued walking away.

And while she and the team walked Bakugou gave Neia the thumbs up for sticking it to Larc like that.

Once they were gone from the room Larc sighed in both annoyance at what Neia did and the fact Bakugou was now out of his hair. Glass though didn't like what happened, "Larc wasn't that a little extreme?" she asked the young king.

Larc shakes his head at her, "No, if he and his team are just going to act like this we are better off without them. Let's just get back to focusing on finding and killing Kyo and we can move on from this crap." he explains which just made Glass and Therese sigh in annoyance to how this whole thing turned out.

However, the tone of her, Larc, and Therese changed when they noticed Kizuna was not around them anymore and then saw she was angrily walking her way out of the room. "Kizuna where are you going?" Therese asked of her long lost friend.

Kizuna turned herself around with a mad look on her face, "I'm leaving!" she sternly raised her voice at Therese.

"Leaving?" Glass wondered out loud.

Larc then spoke out to the hunter hero, "Kizuna I know you're trying to get along with the offworld hero, but I doubt you can convince him to-"

"I'm not going off to talk to Bakugou, I'm joining his side and quitting our team." Kizuna interrupted and responded.

"WHAT?!" Larc, Therese, and Glass shouted at the same time.

"Kizuna why would you do such a thing?!" Glass expressed confused.

"Because all three of you are horrible jerks! These people helped me escape the labyrinth, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them! And all of you are treating them like criminals!" Kizuna yells at them.

Larc tried to defend himself, "Kizuna you saw how that bastard acted, he was being completely unreasonable!"

"Unreasonable?! Larc all you have done is make demands and threats to them! And don't try to act like the good guy here! You attacked them first , tried to kill them in cold blood, and try to doom their world! You expect them to just pretend that never happened while treating them like shit!?"

"Well no but I-"

"Ugh! Since we got back here Larc all you can do is make up excuses and justify your horrible actions! And well Bakugou is right, you were the one who dragged Therese out there in their world in the first place and got her cursed! That was all on you!"

"Well yeah, but Kizuna-"

"No! If you are not going to feel any remorse for your actions and not makeup to those you've wronged, I want nothing to do with you anymore Larc!" she then looks toward Glass and Therese, "And if you two are just going to defend this jerk or remain silent to his crap then I want nothing to do with you two either!"

"Kizuna please let's talk this through!" Glass cried as she tried to grab Kizuna's arm.

But the hunter hero just swipes her friend's hand away, "No! The only people you should be talking to are the cardinal shield hero and his friends!" she then looks at Larc again, "You said that anyone who associates with the shield hero would go through the same punishment right? Well, then you can count me as one of them now! I'm doing what is right and if you don't see it that way Larc, then you really are a Tyrant." she then turned away once more, "Goodbye, forever." she finished and finally stormed off on her way out of the castle.

"Kizuna please wait!" Glass yelled hoping to get her to turn back but before she could say anything else Kizuna had already left the room and closed the large doors behind herself.

Even if Glass could've easily opened them and followed her, the fan hero knew at that point nothing she said would convince Kizuna. Glass falls to her knees and began to cry "Kizuna please don't leave us again." she cries and lets out tears from her eyes, she just got to see her best friend after so long and now she has fully turned her back on all of them.

Therese also looked saddened by the whole situation especially with her curse being the main driving point in all of this. She goes to comfort Glass as she hugs the poor spirit woman with Glass maintaining a tight grip on the jewel woman with her hug. After a few seconds of sobbing and crying Glass finally gets it out of her system and she smiles at her other friend Therese who smiles back.

Larc then finally got in on the scene, "Damn it! That bastard Bakugou! I don't know want crap he is putting in Kizuna's head, but I'm sure after she spends more time with that piece of shit she'll come right back to us." he said confidently.

But saying such things made Therese's and Glass's sadness immediately turn into anger as the spirit woman clutched her fist.

Larc doesn't notice and continues running his mouth, "Now we need to just think how we can find Kyo and satisfy Rayb-*slap*!" but he is interrupted by Glass throwing a powerful slap across the young king's face that is powerful enough to send him flying and smashes into a wall.

The young king shakes his head in pain after such a hit as he looks up to see Glass and Therese angrily stomping their way toward him, "What the hell was that for Glassy!?" Larc demanded angrily.

Glass then grips Larc's suit collar and raises him back up, "Do you not have any idea what you've done Larc!? Your actions have just made us lose Kizuna again!" she yells at Larc.

Larc was now confused as he continues defending himself, "How is this my fault!? The shield bastard was the one-"

"Larc stop it! We can't keep lying to ourselves anymore, we attempted to kill him and doom his team's world. He has the full right to be mad and warry of us." Glass scolds Larc

"What you're siding with him now!?" the young king argues back.

"Larc how would you have felt in the shield heroes position if powerful heroes from other worlds came to us when the waves started and tried to kill us and doom our world to save there's without being first informed why? Would you trust those same heroes to be friends later on?" Glass questioned him.

"Glassy we talked about this before and you agreed with me on what we had to do for the good of our world." Larc continued to argue.

"That's when I thought Kizuna may have been lost forever and we truly had no other choice, but she was fine the whole time. And she is right, we should've tried harder to find more alternative ways to stop the waves. We just took the easy way that would've killed off billions of innocents."

Larc sighed, "Glassy look I know how upset you are, but how can we trust someone who is unwilling to break a curse they inflected on our friends?"

"Larc why are you trying to make this about me!?" shouted a voice that turned out to be Therese, "Are you just making this your excuse to treat the shield hero so poorly!?"

Larc now looked surprised that another friend of his was going against him, "What are you talking about? Therese do you not want to break this curse of yours?" he asked the jewel woman.

"I be lying if I said I didn't want this curse to be gone, but I wouldn't want it to be used to ruin the trust of our new allies and push away Kizuna." she responds.

Larc contiuned arguing, "Allies? They're the reason you're cursed to begin how can we just-"

"Larc! We invaded their world and attempted to kill them! They were in the right to defend themselves in whatever way they could and we paid for the consequences. And again why are you making this about me all of a sudden?" Therese yelled back with Glass looking at him coldly as well.

Larc tries to respond, "Because I care for you all, as friends I want to do what I can to help you and-"

"Then why didn't you ask for my opinion!? Why did you speak for me and not allow me to say anything on my mind!?" Therese yells at Larc.

Her point immediately struck at Larc's mind, he really didn't have an answer to that despite his struggle to, "Well I.. I.. I just want-"

Glass then spoke up again, "Larc was this ever about her or were you just trying to find excuses to maintain your grudge with Bakugou?" she asked with Therese also crossing her arms to the young king.

Larc unable to answer any of those questions just finally exploded, "How can all of you just side with scum like him!? After all we've been through, after all we've done! You would just turn your back on me and side with an evil bastard like-"*Slap*

But Glass just slaps Larc across the face again, this didn't send him flying just a few feet across the ground, but it still hurt hard.

Glass now looked coldly angrily at the young King, "If this is how you see us now? Just prompts for your excuses, I see no point in seeing you as a friend anymore. As of now, the fan hero will no longer be of service to the king of Sickle. So goodbye now." she finished and turned her back now walking away.

Therese then looks angrily down at Larc, "The same goes for me, whether my curse eventually breaks or not, I will no longer be of service to the kingdom. Remember you once said before you didn't want to be anything like your father, well now you are even worse than your father. Goodbye young king." she finished and walked away as well with Glass.

"Glass! Therese! Wait!" Larc cried out and was now just filled with rage, not only had Kizuna abandoned him, but his other closest friends Glass and Therese had abandoned him who now just left the room.

Larc then smashes his fist on the floor in rage, "Damn that evil bastard! He's taken everyone away from me!" he screams still blaming everything on Bakugou as he grabs for his scythe, "That's it, no more tolerating his bullshit! I'll end this by killing the bastard and finally be free from evil men like-AAAAHHH!" but suddenly he got electrocuted as he was forced on to his knees and had to drop his vassal weapon.

Once he dropped the scythe the shocking stop, "What?!" Larc expressed confusion as he stared at his vassal weapon now lying on the ground, he didn't want to believe what this could mean. He attempts to grab the scythe again only to get electrocuted once more, "No! NO! NO! This can't be!" he yells and tries to grab the scythe again and again but the painful shock continues.

What he feared was now true, the vassal Scythe was now rejecting him as its master, "Now you're siding with him!? Why is everyone doing this to me!? Why! WHY!" he screamed and fully enraged that got to the point of him punching into a glass window, smashing it into pieces.

After breathing heavily and blowing off some steam though, Larc looks down on the broken glass and sees his own reflection. A reflection of what he has become now, and he did not like it. In contrast, he looked at the Scythe's blade as it projected images of his past self with all of his friends Glass, Therese, and Kizuna going on fun adventures together. Seeing the past warmed his heart a bit, but that got mixed with sorrow as he looked back at the reflection of the man he hated seeing in the broken glass.

He finally sighed and sat on the floor while he finally reflected on himself, "What in the hell have I become? Therese is right, I've become worse than my old man." he said to himself now thinking about everything he had done and said.

As much as he never wanted to admit it, his past self would've hated his future self now. Even if he had his reasons to invade worlds, years ago he would've considered the likes of him scum and a tyrant worse than his own dad, "Why is everything so complicated now? Why can't things be like the simple old days were good and evil were obvious. Now it just makes no sense." he says to himself still reflecting on his life choices.

But after a few more minutes of sulking with some self-reflecting, Larc now sees what he did wrong, "I really did screw up. Now I need to fix this." he says to himself now getting himself back up. He then eyes his scythe on the ground once more and after taking a deep breath attempts to grab it again.

Despite his fear it would shock him like before, once he grabbed it, no shock came at all and Larc was allowed to carry the vassal weapon once more. It sees him worthy as its user again, "Thank you for forgiving me." he says to his weapon and looks out toward the hallway, and heads for the doors, "Now it is time for me to start handing out apologies to everyone." he says to himself as the young king heads his way out to find those he did wrong, starting with Glass and Therese.

Now outside the castle, Bakusquad walked across town. Already the atmosphere felt different. People began to hide in their houses, stores shut their doors, and the guards all had angry looks in their eyes while tapping their weapons.

This sight wasn't too unfamiliar with the crew, from experience in both Melromarc and Siltvelt before revealing their identities, "Looks like the word got out quick." Rino comments.

"Whatever, like I said we don't need help from anyone. We just need to kill Bookworm and get back when the next wave in this world happens." Bakugou says giving everyone else in town a nasty look back, 'Once more people taking the word of a tyrant over one's actions, if these idiots knew the full truth about their shitty king they be giving him the nasty looks.' he says in his head.

"Hey guys wait up!" shouted a voice that caught the crew's attention.

"It's Kizuna." Rifana said as they all turned it was indeed Kizuna herself running to catch up to them.

Bakugou groans to himself as the hunter hero finally catches up to them, "Listen Pigtails no matter how many times you beg I'm not going to apologize for-"

"No I'm not here to demand you apologize to Larc, I personally actually agree with you." Kizuna immediately responds which surprised the Shield hero thinking he was going to be wrapped up in another Melty situation.

"So why are you here then?" Daven asked with the others wondering as well.

"Well since Larc is being such a big jerk right now, I wanted nothing to do with him. So I'm teaming up with you guys as of now." Kizuna answers.

"I personally see no issue with that." Neia responds with the others nodding though they immediately turned toward Bakugou who looked indifferent.

Though thankfully his own response was quick after letting out a sigh, "Fine as long as you remember I'm the leader here you can stick around. Let's head out of here already." he says thinking having Kizuna around would be a good bargaining chip while also pissing Larc off, he then started walking again.

Though Kizuna stops him before he gets far, "Hold on a second Bakugou, you guys probably don't want to sleep out of the dark woods. Let me take you to my place."

"Your place?" Neia asked with the others wondering as well.

Kizuna nods to her, "Yeah it's not too far away from here. I don't mind letting you all live and sleep there. We pretty much only got each other right now."

"I don't see why not, I rather sleep under a roof if it starts raining than in a tarp." Rino says with the others nodding in agreement.

Bakugou just shrugs to that, "Whatever, just show us this place."

"Perfect, follow me." Kizuna happily says as she leads the way with Bakusquad following her.

After over an hour of walking, the crew were now outside of Sickle's capital not too far from the Ocean.

Up on a hill was a large cottage sticking out by itself in the open meadow.

"Here we are, my own little home." Kizuna said as she unlocked the door with a key she had in her weapon and opened up the cottage as she and Bakusquad entered.

The group walked around the place and looked at their surroundings, "This place looks nice." Neia said.

"And really big as well." Rifana also commented.

Kizuna quickly responds to both of them, "Yeah this was me and my former friend's hangout of sorts, to get away from all the stuff from the city and castle. Though only me and Glass had keys, so she really must've kept this place clean after all of these years."

The group looked around the cottage and it was quite nice for something seemingly abandoned for years.

Rino then noticed a large painting on the living room wall. It was a painted picture of Kizuna holding onto a huge fish 4 times the size of her body with her friends Glass, Larc, and Therese happily smiling with one another, "Is this from a special event?" Rino asked.

Kizuna was happy to answer, "Oh that was from when I caught the biggest fish yet, it was hell to reel that thing in, but man was it rewarding in the end, especially with the meal we made out of it afterward." she says to Rino, but after only a few seconds Kizuna's smile began to disappear as it started to sadden her to be looking at how happy she was with her friends back in the day.

"What's the matter Miss Kizuna?" Rifana asked with the other sidekicks already knowing what this was about.

After a sigh Kizuna spoke, "I'm just remembering how fun it was back then, sure there was a demon dragon to worry about but we still had our fun and all. Now I barely recognize these people anymore, to do such horrible things like that."

Daven shakes his head to that, "They say one's true character is revealed when they are in a desperate situation out of their control. And this was the path they took." he explains being honest about it with Bakugou nodding in agreement.

Kizuna shakes her head to that, "Well I know my true character, I won't ever resort to killing entire worlds just to save one. Like I said before, I will do what I can to stop these waves without resorting to such a thing." she says to everyone with Bakusquad all seeing the honesty in her confident face.

Bakugou shook his head to that, "Well I'll see it to believe it first Pigtails, so good luck with that."

"Trust me, I will not need to rely on luck to solve this crisis." Kizuna says back trying to remain confident, but inside she secretly didn't know where to start on this especially without her friends and Sickle's resources. At this point, she has to just focus on dealing with Kyo and then deal with incoming wave afterward still set to appear in a couple of days.

Neia then decided to ask something while looking at the painting, "Say Kizuna, you're from another world right?" she asked.

Kizuna nods, "Yeah no different than Bakugou, got summoned here to fight the Demon Dragon."

"Well do you plan to ever return to your old world once the wave crisis is gone?" Neia asked her.

"Of course, I have friends and family back at home. And there are some things I don't want to be missing from Japan. But I'm not in a major hurry to get back, if my friends stop making asses of themselves we would be treasuring our limited time together more." Kizuna responded with a major sigh still upset about what had become of her friends.

Bakugou himself then looks at the picture. As he stares at Kizuna and her friends he begins thinking about an idea of a similar picture but with him, his sidekicks, along with friends and allies he made along the way like Erhard, Ren and his team, and Melty. So many friends he has made since coming to his sidekicks world. After hearing what Neia asked about Kizuna returning to her world, it begins to remind him of his old world back in U.A. with his classmates and friends there like the original Kirishima. Something he didn't think of much before, but once the waves truly end in the world he was summoned in and gets to go back home, it'll mean he'll leave his new friends and sidekicks behind and may never see them again.

As much as he wants to eventually get back home and become the number 1 hero, there is a feeling in his body that he doesn't like, 'Will this just become a memory to me? A distant memory to look back to?' he says in his head.

But Kizuna finally spoke up again and smiled, "But let's forget about that for now, why don't I give you guys a proper tour of the house." she said leading the way to another room with the rest following her.

Bakugou looks back at the painting one more time at the mental image of one of his own like that and his question of his inevitable leaving of this life behind. But he knew he needed to stop thinking about the far future and focus on the now and just followed the group on the tour.

After over half an hour Kizuna finished the tour around the place and back to the living room again, "So what do you think Bakugou, not a bad place is it?" Kizuna asked the shield hero.

"It's a house, what's special about it?" Bakugou says to her.

"Well like I said it was built by Glass and myself." Kizuna responds.

"Ha, so what, I'm building my own town back in the world I was summoned to." Bakugou responds.

"Oh, you guys mentioned something like that before didn't you?" Kizuna remembers the stories they told her when they met up in the labyrinth.

Rifana nods in agreement, "Yeah it was my old hometown, now called Bakcadia. It's quite big now." she explains.

"How do you get the funding for such a thing?" Kizuna wondered.

Daven answers that, "A full treasury of a corrupt national church."

Neia then chimed in, "Sir Bakugou is also making a huge hero academy in it as well."

"Really? A hero academy. That sounds interesting, I like to see it myself if I can somehow visit your guy's world. Maybe I could do something similar myself." Kizuna ponders to herself.

"Hey if you're going to steal ideas from me, I better get some credit for it!" Bakugou yelled at her in his typical Bakugou way.

"Come on, your idea isn't all that original. I've seen manga and some Western movies on the same concept." Kizuna jokingly says back.

"Yet you didn't come up with it yourself until I mentioned it." Bakugou says back, the sidekicks in the background just laughed to themselves as the two playfully argued on hero academies.

knock knock*

Then everyone heard knocking on the front door of the cottage.

"Is it you know who." Rino says already suspecting who it could be.

"Yep, it's all three of them." Daven confirmed using his magic sense.

Kizuna sighed to herself knowing who was at the door. She moved her way to the front and opened up the door.

At the front was indeed Glass and a few feet behind her was Therese and Larc.

"Kizuna, I figured you be here." Glass said looking very uneasy.

Kizuna herself just looked annoyed, "Glass I know you are here to apologize for yourself, Therese, and Larc but I don't want to hear from-"

Glass then interrupted her, "I'm not apologizing for anyone here, in fact someone wants to be the first to apologize, and not just for you but to the Shield hero as well."

she then points to Larc who walked a few steps ahead near Glass and looks down at Kizuna, "Is he also here?" Larc asked.

Kizuna nodded and turned her head inside, "Bakugou, guys you might want to come out for this." she said to Bakusquad.

Bakugou himself sighed in annoyance not wanting to deal with more of Larc's bullshit so soon but knew Kizuna won't shut up about it and just walks to the door with his sidekicks following suit.

Eventually they were all out of the cottage with Bakugou staring at a now calm Larc, "Yeah, what do you want this time young master?" Bakugou demanded.

It was silent for a few more seconds until Larc sighed himself, as he dropped his weapon on the ground, and then kneeled, "Kid-Katsuki Bakugou, I am so sorry for what I said and my behavior from before. I should've known better myself, but I allowed my own emotions to get the better of me. What we tried to do was wrong and there is no way to properly justify it. Even if this was what many of us concluded to, I am this nation's king and had the final word on everything and should've stopped it any time. It was wrong to judge you from secondhand information without knowing who you directly were, and I never even thanked you for rescuing my friend Kizuna." Larc then bowed with arms on the ground, "So forgive me for my idiocy and I'll try to make it up to you any way I can, Sir Katsuki Bakugou." he genuinely apologized still bowing toward the hero with everyone there surprised to see a stubborn hot head like Larc doing something like this especially compared to how he was a few hours ago.

Everyone then stared back at Bakugou who was giving a very neutral expression at the young hero king. After starring for a few more seconds he then let out a soft huff and walked toward Larc until he stuck out his foot in front of scythe hero, "If you truly mean it Farmer boy, I want you to kiss my boot. A good long smooch if what you just said meant anything." Bakugou demanded.

"He's joking right?" Kizuna expressed in a deadpan way toward the sidekicks who shook their heads in disagreement.

"Let's say this wasn't the first time something like this happened." Neia responds referring to a similar situation in Siltvelt.

Larc grumbled at such a humiliating demand, but knew he didn't want to test Bakugou's patience who already looked annoyed that Larc might be hesitating at this point. The young King then sighed to himself knowing he couldn't back out now. Even if he didn't like this, he grabbed hold of Bakugou's leg and after a few more seconds of hesitation the Scythe hero finally kissed Bakugou's boot, and as Bakugou told him he made sure it was a long smooch going on for a few seconds with everyone there either surprised to see such a thing or even slightly laughing at it.

Rifana was just confused, 'Does sir Bakugou like being kissed on the foot?' she said in her head.

Larc finally finishes his kiss and looks up to hopefully a satisfied Shield hero. Bakugou was silent for a few seconds, but then…

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Bakugou busted out laughing which shocked the offworlders to see someone like him laughing like that, his sidekicks though were just shaking their heads not surprised by it, all but Rifana who was still confused by this whole thing.

"What's so funny about this? Isn't this what you want?" Larc asks in annoyance while wiping his lips.

Bakugou finally finishes laughing, "Oh god you really are desperate! Man I can't believe you went with it!"

Glass just then asks still confused by this whole thing, "So, uh… are we ok now?"

"Ha, if your farmer boy king was willing to do that in front of everyone I know he meant what he said." Bakugou responds, and hearing that made her, Therese, and Kizuna happy that it seemed all was forgiven.

Larc smiles once again thinking he finally fixed this situation as he stood back up and reaches his arm out to Bakugou, "So then, we allies now from here on out?" he asked hoping for a good old handshake.

However…

His hand was swiped away by Bakugou, now no longer laughing with a more serious face on once again. This surprised the group with Kizuna now worried everything was going to fall apart again.

Bakugou then spoke, "Don't think I'm going to pretend what you did before didn't happen. I'm not going to ignore the fact you tried to kill other worlds to save your own asses. We are not friends or best buddies here young master, you got to do more than say you're sorry multiple times to be forgiven for what the hell you did. Actions speak louder than words…. However, I can see now what you said right before was real, the fact you were willing to damn your own pride and kiss my boot shows me you did mean what you said. So we are not allies here, but I'm willing to cooperate with you now while we have a common enemy, after we kill four eyes were out of here. But I don't want to see worlds get destroyed even this one, so if you play nice, listen to Pigtails, and not try any more stupid stunts like before I'll also cooperate in finding ways to stop the waves. So consider this a non-aggression pact at best in a temporary coalition against a greater threat." he explained and this time reached out his own hand toward Larc which surprised the king.

Despite wanting to be more cooperative with the offworld hero, Larc figured this was the best he could get and finally eagerly shakes Bakugou's hand starting their official non-aggression pact and temporary coalition.

Kizuna, Therese, and Glass along with Bakugou's sidekicks all collectively sighed in relief that this didn't get violent and some peace had been made between the two worlds.

Daven then brought up, "So what about the whole curse on Therese then?" he asked knowing the subject would be brought up sooner or later.

Therese then speaks for herself, "After thinking about for a little bit, of what I've done and all of your feelings on our actions. I've decided to keep the curse from now on."

"Are you serious Therese?" Kizuna questioned with everyone else wondering as well including Bakugou.

Therese nods back while rubbing her gem, "Indeed, I know how the shield hero feels about us and I understand why. We need to show that we can be true allies and earn Sir Bakugou's respect and trust. So for now on, I'll keep this curse to bear the burden of our sins, to hopefully be one day forgiven of them as we build our bridges to a better future for both our worlds. Whether or not my curse will be removed will be of the Shield hero's choice that I'll be glad to accept, even if he never does it will be a decision I will honor." she explains to everyone.

Bakugou could tell the gem woman meant it and then sighed, "Well if there is no issue for it then it's less for me to worry about. Maybe if you 3 don't try any more genocides and prove to me I can trust your asses I might consider, repeat consider removing the curse. But don't try to suck up to me to get it, I've had enough brown nosing from the kingdom of furries in my sidekicks world." he says as Therese nods back understanding his opinion and glad things are finally getting through with the offworlders.

Glass then spoke after taking another bow, "I once more apologize for everything I've done with your world and will make it up in any way I can." she apologized once more and then turned her head toward Kizuna who had a neutral expression on her face, "Kizuna I apologize for my inaction earlier at the castle. I hope we can make up after some time." she apologized to Kizuna.

However the Hunter Hero now happily smiles and immediately runs to Glass and gives the spirit woman a huge hug, "Oh Glass, I'm so glad to have my old friends back again." she cheered continuing her tight hug.

Glass almost cries tears of joy as she hugs Kizuna back, and not far behind Therese and even Larc quickly jump in on the group hug.

It was a happy sight to see from the sidekicks, especially from Neia who turns to her master crossing his arms and still trying to look tough, "Reminds me of our own team a little bit Sir Bakugou." she says to him.

Bakugou just smirks back, "Unlike them none of us are idiots Neia. But a good hero can't be without a good team. That's what I got out of this isekai nonsense anyway." he says to his first sidekick as she lightly patted his right shoulder then pets Kirishima on the left still resting on his father's left shoulder.

Eventually Kizuna's group hug was done with Larc pointing his scythe at the road, "Alright, now that we got all of that out of our systems let's head back to the castle." he says to his and Bakugou's group.

"We're all here already Larc and it's getting late, how about we all spend the night here together and have fun, and then deal with Kyo and the Raybul stuff tomorrow." Kizuna says pointing to the cottage.

Larc smiles to her old friend, "Alright just for tonight, I think the officials need to organize a bunch of stuff anyways so why not for old times sake." he agreed with Therese and Glass nodding in agreement.

The 4 heroes of this world head their way inside the cottage with Bakugou's crew following suit, Kizuna then turned to Larc "Hey Larc, do you think we might be able to build a hero academy?"

"Huh, hero academy?" what's that?" Larc asked

"A school to help train future heroes, it could be a lot of fun to think about." Kizuna responds.

"HEY PIGTAILS IF YOU'RE GOING TO STEAL MY IDEAS! AT LEAST CREDIT ME FOR THEM FIRST!" Bakugou explodes at Kizuna, she knew this was going to be a fun night.

It is now morning in Sickle. The heroes spent the rest of the evening and night into Kizuna's cottage. They had a big dinner with everyone telling stories of their adventures, and even played a few games.

It was still a bit of an awkward scene with some of them, Bakusquad still remembers that these people tried to kill them not long ago and only just recently somewhat made up, but Kizuna had a way of getting people to talk with one another, it was almost a hero ability of hers, but this was just how she naturally was.

Bakugou tried to remain distant from Larc and crew but even he got roped into some of the games mostly just to show off, and after everything they've been through, especially with what happened to Neia recently in Raybul he was somewhat glad he and his sidekicks can have some time to have some fun and rest.

But by morning it was now time to get back to work in dealing with the Vassal Book wielder and to prevent a major war from happening all before a new wave struck just days away.

Right now the heroes were all heading toward a famous blacksmith shop where they might be needing some upgrades when dealing with Kyo as Larc's spies and Ethnobalt continued to try to find anything they could get on Kyo's location, but that was easier said than done. He and the rest of his team still had reluctance to be getting so close to Larc and Glass, but once more Kizuna was able to talk them into it, especially with Bakugou on the prospect of being able to wear his old stuff back again.

Thankfully for Bakugou and crew, the atmosphere is a lot different now than yesterday with the citizens of Sickle now being happy and more open. It seemed Larc's retraction of his decree on the shield hero spread very quickly.

Many of the citizens on the streets were mostly happy to see their young King walking around the streets, there to protect them from any threat.

"You seem pretty popular around here Larc." Rifana comments on it.

"Well a lot of that love has been earned Rifana. Good faith is hard to get and just as easy to lose as well." Larc says while waving to some of the people.

Bakugou just jokes about it, "Ha, you sure it's not just an act because you're their king who can just execute them at any time Young master?"

"Will you stop calling me that stupid nickname it's embarrassing." Larc says back genuinely annoyed by the nickname.

"Oh so do you prefer I call you farmer boy then?" Bakugou mocks back.

"Yes.. Wait no! Ugh! Can't you just call me Larc for once since we are now in a non-aggression pact or whatever?"

Rino then jokes about it herself, "Oh first names are something of a luxury with Sir Bakugou, good luck getting him to say one even when he knows it."

Bakugou then continued, "Well farmer boy young master constantly calls me this Kiddo shit so I see no point in saying his name either."

"Hey that's different! And are you now combining the two together just to piss me off!?" Larc shouts back though in a more playful manner.

"Not intentionally but I like the results of it anyway." Bakugou jokes making Larc look annoyed now with everyone else laughing at the situation.

Eventually the crew made it to the blacksmith shop. Some things reminded Bakusquad of Erhard's shop, but this blacksmith shop was a lot more spacious and the blacksmith herself was a young redhead woman, "Would Rolena be her today?" Kizuna asked as soon as she got in the shop getting the blacksmith woman's attention.

"Is that really you Kizuna? It's been so long. Where have you been?" Rolena asked the hunter hero, she and most of the kingdom outside the castle have been only given vague details of Kizuna's return.

"We'll talk later, but right now I need the best equipment you have." Kizuna casually responds to the blacksmith woman who smiles back.

"Good grief you haven't changed at all after all of these years." Rolena says back continuing her smile just happy to see Kizuna again after so long. She also quickly noticed her king Larc as well as Glass coming in, "I take it you are all with Kizuna as well." she says to Larc who nods back at the Blacksmith.

Rolena then noticed beside him was a group of people she never saw before with a muscular blonde man with a large shield on him and a blue grass woman with a Katana on her side, she immediately knew who they were, "Oh look at that, something must be going on for you guys to be here." she then turns to Larc, "What was that up with you banning him for everything to suddenly remove it the very next day Larc?" she asked to her King who nervously scratches the back of his neck.

"Yeah it's a long story, I kind of want to forget about it, so let's just get down to business then." Larc responds and the blacksmith nods back.

"Mind I check her weapon first." Rolena asked pointing to Neia's weapon as the elf warrior walked up to show her the weapon. Neia was unable to let go of it but Rolena was still able to observe the blade of the sword, "So this is really the vassal katana, such a magnificent and powerful blade. Also a very dangerous thing to bring to my shop." she says out loud on her observations.

"Yeah that's also a long story that I can tell you later, but can you make a sheath or scabbard for her so she doesn't have it be out in the open, it doesn't fit in her old ones." Kizuna responds pointing to Neia's scabbards that were not designed to fit Katana's.

"Well you can't just take one from the shelf it needs to be custom-made, but I should be able to make one for it easily." Rolena responds.

Neia then spoke, "If you don't mind miss Rolena, can you make two of them for me?"

Hearing that somewhat confused Rolena but nods to her, "Sure, not sure why you need two but if it's your wish I'll try granting it."

Kizuna then placed a large pile of stuff on Rolena's storefront, "And we need these upgraded to, this is all the stuff Bakugou and friends were using in their old world." she says and indeed all the items were Bakugou and his sidekicks old equipment from the other world, including Bakugou's cape and boots.

Rolena pondered it for a few seconds, "Hmmm, never seen stuff like this before, I'll see what I can do but it may take me a few days to complete it." she explained.

"Days?! We need them tomorrow!" Kizuna says with a worried face.

"Kizuna, that's impossible." Rolena says back.

"Come on Rolena, please! Please! Please!" Kizuna begs hoping she can get through with the Blacksmith. This amused the sidekicks with this reminding them of Bakugou trying to haggle with Erhard.

Rolena sighed to herself, "Alright, I can't make promises, but I'll see what I can do. I have to put all of my other orders on hold though." she agreed which made Kizuna smile.

"Thank you Rolena." Kizuna thanked.

Bakugou approached the Blacksmith as he takes off his gauntlets, "Get these upgraded as well, but do not mess with their design, they're made specifically for me and I don't want them to be fucked up. So add upgrades or whatever, but don't mess with the design got it red head?" he demands from the blacksmith.

Rolena took a look at the gauntlets and was already curious by the design, seeing that they seemed to be made to carry a large amount of some sort of liquid, and they also smelled smoky, "Never seen anything like this. What do you do with these things exactly?" she asked with curiosity.

"I handle a lot of explosives, that's all you need to know. Did you understand what I just said red head?" Bakugou responds.

Rolena let out a small sigh, "Of course, I won't mess with the design of them."

Kizuna then joked, "Yeah don't be too weirded out by Bakugou, he's always like this."

"What's that supposed to mean Pigtails!?" Bakugou yelled at her with Kizuna just ignoring him.

Rolena smiled once more, "Ok then, well hopefully I won't die of exhaustion and get these completed by tomorrow." she said with Kizuna and her friends smiling back as they and everyone else left the blacksmith shop back to the streets.

"You sure we can trust our stuff to her?" Katsuki questioned still being on the cautious side.

Larc then spoke for her, "Yeah don't worry Kiddo, I trust my firstborn with Rolena. She'll make all our stuff good as new and better than ever."

"Well if she does fuck up I'm blaming it all on you Young master." Bakugou responds.

"I told you to not call me that!" Larc raised his voice.

"It's called karma idiot." Bakugou mocks back, he may still have his doubts about the scythe hero but it still amused him to mock Larc.

"There you are!" shouted an unfamiliar voice catching all of the heroes attention.

Up from the rooftops of the tall buildings, a woman in a kimono, green hair, and a menacing-looking sword with an eye on its hilt, lands near the group, "I've finally found you!" the girl yells and points her sword toward Bakugou, who already didn't like this.

"Who.. Who are you?" Kizuna questioned the mysterious woman as her sinister looking sword began to glow.

"My name is Yomogi Emarl! Prepare yourselves! I've come to kill you in the name of Kyo!" the woman shouts maintaining her stance with a determined look on her face.

Her announcing Kyo's name got the group's attention especially Bakugou's.

Rifana wanted it clarified though, "Do you mean Kyo Ethnina?" she asked.

"Yes! The vassal book wielder! He trusted me to enact divine punishment on the evil vassal and cardinal weapon wielders!"

"Evil wielders?" Kizuna questioned with her friends just as confused by this woman.

Though with Yomogi her determined face turned to a worried one once she saw Bakugou and all his sidekicks taking out there weapons ready to fight, even little Kirishima was now in his teen form, "How cowardly! Challenging me to a fight when you outnumber me!?" she shouts at them.

"Challenge? You're the one who jumped at us out of nowhere." Rino comments with the others not sure what this woman's mindset is remotely at.

"Looks like we're dealing with an idiot here." Bakugou responds while taking the front, "But if she really works for that four eyed bastard, I don't mind kicking her ass.

"Then you shall die here villain!" Yomogi yells and immediately lunges at the shield hero.

"Explosion shield." Bakugou casually says and his shield immediately transformed.

Boom*

When Yomogi's sword hit the shield she was blasted 30 feet across the road. Despite the pain, Yomogi immediately got back up, "Now you resort to underhanded tricks villain rather than fight fair and square!"

"What's wrong with this woman Sir Bakugou?" Neia asked.

"Like I said she's an idiot. Why else would anyone work for that bookworm bastard other than to mooch off him." Bakugou responds.

"Shut up you fiend! I will not let you insult Kyo's name anymore!" Yomogi yells and rushes her attack again.

Bakugou could've just let her attack against his explosion shield again, but even he would get bored of that, "Neia handle her!" he ordered with the elf warrior quickly following through with her Katana turning into a dual set as she now clashes and holds back Yomogi's sword.

"You resort to using two swords rather than one! None of you have any sense in honor!" Yomogi yells as she tries her best to overpower Neia, but despite her own sword skills, Neia is better than her in every way.

After getting nowhere with the elf warrior no matter how many times she hits with her sword, Yomogi puts all of her strength to overwhelm Neia and finally go after the shield hero.

But Neia was hardly struggling and finally used her magic.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!" Yomogi screams as she gets electrified from Neia transferring electricity through her Katana's to Yomogi's sword with its weird eye still moving around the base as the sword remained unaffected by the electricity.

After electrifying her enough, Neia finally jumps away with Yomogi struggling to keep herself up, "And now you use magic in a physical combat duel! Do any of you know fair play!?" she scolds the heroes as if this is some sort of tournament.

"You're the one using a magic sword yourself." Rino brought up, she like the others is more cautious of that sword than Yomogi herself.

Yomogi just raised her sword toward the mage, "This weapon is a gift from Kyo! It is only powered by whoever is worthy to wield it. You will understand why Kyo is the one who will save this world from your-AAAHH!" she was then interrupted from getting double stabbed in the back by Daven sai's teleporting behind and just as quickly teleported right back near Bakugou.

"Demons! All of you are cheating demons! I will end your lives and save this world from your corruption!" Yomogi yells again.

Bakugou had about enough of hearing her nonsense and quickly blasts himself toward Yomogi. The swordswoman attempts to swing at Bakugou but the shield hero easily dodges and after blocking some of her hits he starts blasting her. Over and over again at every angle as he goes all in until she is blasted into the side of a building.

Yomogi now struggles to keep herself up but maintains her determined look as she grips her sword harder, "Can't even just use your weapon? Instead resorting to your cheap fire magic tricks to stop a superior opponent!?"

"Will you shut up already!? Your piss ass weak compare to any of us!" Bakugou insults back now getting annoyed by this idiot, like a gnat who is trying to bite his neck.

Larc and his group then finally take out their weapons, "Hey let's not hog all the fun here kiddo!" Larc says back and before the irritated shield hero can respond Larc attacks with his scythe at Yomogi along with Glass with her magic and fans and also Kizuna with her cardinal weapon taking a fishing pole form. Therese still cursed had to remain on the sidelines with the others.

As the 3 fight Bakusquad watches on, "How long until your curse takes effect again?" Rino asked Daven.

"About any second now, her stats are so low in comparison to Therese that it should rapidly take over her in just a few minutes." Daven responds.

The fight with Yomogi continued as Kyo's warrior struggled to lay a single hit on the 3. But just when she gets a break to jump away Yomogi already feels most of her mana just draining away from her body as some of the charms she has on herself have gotten corrupted with dark magic with Daven's curse taking over, significantly weakening her more then she was before. She immediately turns angrily back at the shield crew, "Now you resort to curses! Do your wicked ways have no end!" she yells back.

"Can someone shut her up now!?" Bakugou yells now having enough of this fanatic.

Larc and Kizuna respond as the hunter hero uses her fishing pole hook to grab one of Yomogi's arms to make it point out, then Larc uses his scythe's power to knock away her weapon, surprising the fanatic on how she lost her grip so easily.

However this evil sword had a mind of its own and was completely unaffected by Daven's curse and from a single glow of energy around itself it produced long thick vines from the bottom hilt of itself and latched back onto Yomogi's arm, she along with everyone else were weirded out from that sword's power, "What's happening to me?!" Yomogi shouts as the sword and its vines continue to glow with their green energy.

Bakugou already didn't like this, "Don't tell me this sword is making her more powerful is it?" he asked out loud hoping for an answer from someone.

Most of the others there didn't know what to think of it, other than Rino, "The sword is overwhelming itself in power, it's going to self-destruct soon!" she responded which quickly made everyone look worried.

Kizuna immediately turned back to the fanatic, "Miss Yomogi was it! You need to get rid of that sword now or it will-"

"Silence you fiends! I had enough of your fibs!" Yomogi shouts with a mad look again and with her now more powered sword she fires a bunch of powerful blasts with the sword still attached to her arm forcing Larc, Kizuna, and Glass to jump away as she continued trying to blast them as the sword glowed brighter and brighter.

"How much time do we have miss Rino?" Rifana asked with the others wondering as well.

"With how high the mana is in that thing just 50 seconds." Rino responds looking worried now.

Bakugou knew action had to happen, "Then enough chatting! Kirishima! Get it boy!" Bakugou says then orders his dragon.

Daven saving time touches and teleports himself and the dragon away from the front and now near the side of Yomogi who was still firing her blasts at the 3 outworld heroes, "I will never end my crusade against evil dowers and Kyo's enemies! Surrender now to face a dignify death or I'll-HUH?!" she taunts but then got interrupted by Kirishima now biting on the top of the sword "HEY let go you vile beast!" she shouts struggling with the large horse sized dragon in a tug of war game. Yomogi tried firing a blast in the dragon's mouth, but nothing was coming out, Kirishima had gained an ability a while ago that prevented weapons from firing in the inside of his mouth, allowing the dragon to fight like this without worry.

"I said let go you evil beast! I need to kill your master to-HEY!" she is interrupted again with a small magic chain made by Rino that forms from the ground and drags away Yomogi's free arm. And right beside her Daven creates a shadow clone of himself.

With Kirishima's strength, he has the sword and Yomogi's arm out but it wasn't strong enough to rip the vines off with the sword ready to explode in a few more seconds.

"Fire all you can at the vines!" Bakugou shouts as he fires his AP shot beams with Neia firing her electric bolts, Rino her light beam, and Rifana firing a powerful magic arrow.

With all of these powerful attacks combined the vines are finally cut with the sword's grip on Yomogi fully severed. With Kirishima's strength the sword went flying out of his mouth but into the city itself with civilians.

Daven knew that it was his time to move now as his shadow clone teleported itself right above the sword and grabbed the hilt with his fast reflexes. It then teleported away now high up in the sky far higher than any building around.

The sword continues to glow brighter and brighter until finally-

Boooom*

The sword explodes with a huge cloud of smoke now above the city, despite how large of an explosion it was, thanks to Daven's shadow clone nobody was harmed but the expendable clone that got vaporized as the real Daven remained alive and fine on the ground.

Once the dust settled and the smoke cleared up, everyone sighed in relief that the close call was averted.

But they just as quickly turn their attention back at a disgruntled Yomogi who is now weaponless, still cursed, and injured from the fight. She was mostly confused about what happened with that sword, Kyo never told her about the vines thing and that it had a self-destruct function that she had no control over and would've easily killed her, she tried to rationalize it as Kyo forgetting to mention it, and he wouldn't intentionally leave stuff like that out, would he?

Such thoughts had to take a back seat when Kizuna approached the woman as Yomogi looked back with anger, "You ok miss?" Kizuna asked casually.

Yomogi grunts in annoyance, "Just kill me!", Yomogi thinks of herself as a failure and that death is the only thing she deserves while surrounded by enemies.

"Wow do people really talk like that? I couldn't kill people even if I wanted to. Judging by that explosion, Kyo must've wanted to kill you and us with that crazy sword." Kizuna says looking back up to where the explosion happened.

Yomogi immediately looked disturbed with such thoughts getting into her head again, "NO! impossible! Kyo would never do something like that!"

"Sounds just like him to be honest." Glass says out loud with Larc and Therese nodding with her.

Yomogi then started to look angry again, "Shut your mouths! That shows you don't know anything about Kyo! Even if that was the case, I'm sure that it was only to make sacrifices for his noble goal!" she yelled getting defensive for her friend again in complete denial.

Kizuna though was just getting intrigued about her, "Just curious, what is this noble goal of Kyo's?" she asked, Bakugou though started to look annoyed by what she was asking now.

Yomogi continued to look annoyed, "You're one of the four cardinal heroes aren't you? So you should already know what Kyo is after, I don't have to tell you anything!" she yells back.

Kizuna continued to remain curious along with her friends, Bakugou however was growing annoyed at these pointless questions and wanted Yomogi to get to the point.

"Nope I have no idea what he wants." Kizuna responds which continues to perplex Yomogi that no one knew her best friend's goal.

"What Kyo wants is to stop the waves, as simple as that." Yomogi responds which makes Kizuna express "huh" out loud. Bakugou though didn't care what she thought and wanted to know facts and not waste time on fanatic idiots' motivations.

Kizuna continued to remain curious about all of this and wanted to get deeper into what Kyo was trying to do about these waves that made her friends want to destroy entire worlds to stop them, "Miss Yomogi can you tell me more about how you know Kyo? Perhaps we might understand him more if you can give us some more details on him?" she asked the girl. Bakugou on the other hand had about enough of it at this point.

Yomogi was now confused as to why she and Kyo's enemies would act like this, "Uh.. well I.. I don't..."

"OK you had your turn! Now it's mine turn!" Bakugou shouted and aggressively pushed Kizuna out of the way and without hesitation, he grabbed hold of Yomogi's hair painfully and then threw her face forward on the solid brick pavement, "Kirishima hold her down!" he ordered his dragon and without hesitation, teen form Kirishima placed one of his winged arms on Yomogi's body, preventing her from even kneeling up.

"Bakugou what are you doing?" Kizuna expressed not liking where this was going already.

Bakugou just ignored her and focused back at Yomogi who was now squirming under the dragon's claws, "Ok you green haired bitch! Now how about you tell us where the hell your bookworm master is at, and maybe I won't have to break all of your bones first!" he immediately demanded from the woman.

"NO! I will never expose Kyo's secrets to scum like you!" Yomogi yells back, despite the pain of how hard the dragon was gripping her, she was determined to protect Kyo in any way she could.

Bakugou then stomped his boot on her head, "I'm not asking idiot! I'm demanding it! Where the hell is he at!?" he yelled again.

"Never! Do whatever you want with me! I will never say anything to you!" Yomogi respond even with her face being pressed down on the ground from the boot.

Bakugou then begins to stomp his boot on her face, again, and again, and again.

"Bakugou please stop this now!" Kizuna yelled at him now looking scared of how violent this was getting, she hoped his sidekicks would say something but they remained silent observing the whole thing hoping this would get results.

Bakugou just continued stomping her head over and over again, being completely relentless on the girl to get her to crack, "I said where is he!?" he demanded again.

"I'll never say anything to evil villains like you!" Yomogi yelled, despite getting bruises and dirt marks she was going to remain silent.

Bakugou just got more annoyed and turned to his party, "Neia, help me get this bitch to squeal!" he orders her and without hesitation Neia walks up and through her hands starts electrocuting Yomogi.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Yomogi yells from the pain with it getting harder and harder to ignore this interrogation.

"Stop it! Stop this now!" Kizuna yells louder at this horrible sight that even her friends remain silent to witness the interrogation.

"I said where is he!" Bakugou demanded once more at Yomogi as he went back to stomping her head as she also continued to be electrocuted, he knew with this much pain she would finally break and spill everything out.

Yomogi remained as persistent as before refusing to say anything but the pain was getting harder and harder to ignore, she didn't know how much longer her own body could hold out, she could only hope she would die first before her willpower died from the pain.

It seemed like it was getting to that point, until-

"Bakugou stop!" Kizuna finally yelled having enough of this and from her own strength she pushed Bakugou out of the way as he trips himself from getting caught off guard, "Neia! Stop this now!" she then yelled at the elf warrior, and the new katana wielder quickly stopped herself from this act, never seeing Kizuna act like this before.

Kizuna looked deeply mad by this whole thing as Yomogi was now breathed heavily, finally getting rest from all of that pain, though at the same time she was confused as to why her enemy just did that.

Bakugou though finally got himself back up and was now pissed off, "What the hell are you doing Pigtails!?" he yells at her.

"What the hell I'm doing!? What the hell are you doing torturing this poor woman!" she yells back defending Yomogi.

"Poor?! She just tried to kill us a few minutes ago and works for the evil four eyed bastard!" Bakugou yells.

"And how does that excuse you torturing her!? You think just because they did evil things that gives you the right to do evil things back!?"

"I'm trying to find out where that bastard she works for is! All you're doing is asking how the evil bitch thinks about that evil bastard's evil plan!"

"And you think just beating her up is going to get you results!?"

"And what the hell are you going to do to get anything out of her?! Have a tea party with cake and ice cream!?"

Kizuna was now just grunting in annoyance at how Bakugou was acting with the two now just looking angrily at each other for a few more seconds with everyone else forced to watch this tense argument.

Kizuna eventually just turned around and looked back at Yomogi, "Bakugou just let me talk with her again, I think it's my turn again anyway!" she demanded as Kirishima continued to pin Yomogi down.

Bakugou grips his fist in annoyance, with his interrogation already ruined, and wanting to see what stupidity Kizuna wanted to do with herself he concedes, "Fine! Kirishima get off the bitch!' he ordered with the dragon finally removing himself from the prisoner and moved a bit away.

Yomogi was confused by what was going on that the so-called "evil" hunting hero was trying to help her, "I'm extremely sorry for all of that miss Yomogi, how about we head to somewhere more cozy to talk more." Kizuna casually asked the woman who remained silent to the hunter hero.

Kizuna nods back and walks her way toward out of town with everyone following her lead including Yomogi herself. Rifana was confused by the situation, "What is Miss Kizuna trying to do?" she asked.

"Whatever it is, I know it will just get more ugly soon." Neia commented on it with the rest of Bakusquad having the same feeling themselves.

After some walking, the group along with Yomogi now handcuffed were back at the cottage again. Bakugou continued to look as pissed off as before since back at the town square, Kizuna's team themselves looked nervous by the whole situation including Therese, "Are you sure about this Kizuna?" she asked.

"Relax, I'm just going to talk to her for a bit to learn about herself and Kyo, it'll be okay." Kizuna responds

Glass also didn't like this, "I understand, but why here and not at the interrogation room in the castle itself?" she suggested

"She'll never say anything if we talk to her in a place like that. She needs to know we are not her enemies, so talking like this is our best bet." Kizuna responds to Glass with Yomogi looking confused again as to why she was trying to be so nice despite both being enemies to one another.

Bakugou immediately face palms himself, "OH GOD! You really are just having a fucking tea party with her! I was joking before!" he scolds her not believing this was what she planned to do with Kyo's assassin.

"Bakugou I'm trying to get information out of her. But I'm doing it without having to be a bully out of it." Kizuna scolds Bakugou with the two back arguing again.

"You're not even asking where the hell he is!? Just about what crazy shit this bitch believes in!" Bakugou yells back.

"It's called starting from the top and slowly moving down to the bottom, she clearly doesn't trust us now so I doubt she will immediately say anything until she doesn't feel threatened, especially after that stunt you did to her before."

"Why are you still bothering asking crap like that in the first place!? Who cares what some murderous sociopath thinks in the first place?!"

"I may not have been there to see what Kyo has done, but I still do know from everything you guys told me. And sure what he has done might have been terrible. But still, if he's like us, if he wants to save the world from the waves then we'll solve this ordeal without fighting."

"That bastard doesn't give a shit about lives at all! He wanted to kill off an entire world with billions to collect their souls with no remorse, he's a mad dog that needs to be put down!" Bakugou continued arguing.

"I get that! But I want to know the truth behind everything, behind the waves, and if there is a way to put an end to them without having to destroy yours or anyone else's world!"

"And what the hell makes you think she knows shit, and Bookworm didn't just spell out lies to her like him not telling the bitch about that sword's self-destruct mode?!"

Yomogi started to look concerned again after hearing that, with it feeling more and more wrong that Kyo didn't at least inform her of that first hand.

Kizuna was holding her ground, "It's still worth trying if there is a chance! You want to stop the waves as much as I do, you do not need to be so paranoid about everything!"

"I have every right to be paranoid! I saw through what that asshole has done, and even if he does know shit on the waves I'm still going to kill him without any hesitation!" Bakugou yells back holding his ground just as much.

Kizuna then groaned in annoyance at how Bakugou was acting and turned toward his team, "You guys understand what I'm trying to do right? Can't you explain it to him?" she asked from Bakugou's sidekicks hoping one would help him see reason.

However the 4 sidekicks looked disgruntled toward Kizuna and remained silent for a few seconds until Rino finally spoke what the others had in mind, "No offense Kizuna, but I have to agree with Bakugou that what you are doing is extremely childish." she responds with the others nodding in agreement.

"What's wrong with all of you!? Don't any of you have a mind of your own and just simply agree with whatever Bakugou says? This is exactly how you acted in the castle yesterday, are you afraid to say anything under threat by Bakugou that you won't speak your true feelings?" Kizuna scolds the group thinking they were only going with whatever Bakugou would tell them to.

Daven though shakes his head to that, "It's hard to not agree with logic Kizuna, and Sir Bakugou has been thinking more logically than you are here." he responds with the others nodding with him.

"Logical? Guys how is just beating people up to force answers out even remotely logical?!" Kizuna argues back.

"That's what Kyo did." said a voice that turned out to be Rifana who finally decided to speak up, "I saw him with my own eyes using gravity magic in the Spirit Tortoise on everyone here including Sir Bakugou, and he did the exact same thing Sir Bakugou did with miss Yomogi on the street earlier, stomping his foot on his head over and over. But there he wasn't getting information, it was out of pure sadism, he could've just killed everyone there easily but instead just mocked and laughed at everyone for his sick pleasure. If it wasn't for my intervention they all would've been tortured to death themselves. I don't see how anyone like that could ever have any motivation to end the waves. Just an evil monster who needs to be put down no different than the monsters from the waves. The same type of monsters that also killed my parents had no grand plan or anything good, just pure bloodlust." she finishes herself.

Yomogi looked more and more disturbed to hear such things from Rifana, she couldn't imagine Kyo ever doing such evil things even with cause, and she could tell from Rifana's voice and eyes she was not lying, there was too much true emotion for it to be lies.

Kizuna also started to look saddened by what Rifana said to her, "Well... well... But there could be..."

Bakugou then interrupts her, "I have to say it's rich to accuse my own sidekicks of being yesmen when you have your own 3 yesmen right there." he says pointing to Larc, Glass, and Therese.

"Hey Kiddo don't drag us into this drama." Larc argued with Bakugou.

"Don't bullshit me you idiots! Don't lie anymore! Your only going along with this crap because you don't want to piss off Pigtails again. You don't actually believe this crap do you?" Bakugou yells at Larc, Glass, and Therese now making the 3 heroes look with extreme guilt.

Kizuna herself turned to the 3, "Guys do you actually believe me on this? And don't lie to make me feel better, I want the honest truth from you 3 including you Glass." she asked hoping her friends for real did understand her.

However, the 3 remained silent for a few seconds of both guilt and uncertainty as to what to say. Eventually Glass finally spoke up, "Well I... I... *sigh, I'm afraid I don't Kizuna. I'm sorry I have to agree with the Shield hero." she says with Larc and Therese reluctantly nodding in agreement.

Kizuna now started to no longer look angry and now started to look saddened by this, "Guys, no not you too. Please just understand what I'm trying to do. This is for the good of everyone!" she started raising her voice to them now feeling alone in the whole thing.

"I know the feeling Kizuna." said a voice that this time came from Neia and continued speaking, "I know what it means to try to be the mediator and wanting to make everything better for everyone. Months ago I saw how my master Bakugou was divided with his fellow cardinal heroes, especially the Spear hero. I wanted to help them both and make the two get along for the greater good. I then trusted the Spear hero's partner thinking she had the same goal of wanting to help the heroes and gave me a ring as a token of friendship to eventually mend the heroes strained feelings for each other. But on that same night, she then accused me of stealing the same ring she gave to me and made everyone in the palace including the Spear hero himself think that I was a thief. She then tried to enslave me to her and the Spear hero and the bitch's only response to my call for help was her smugly smiling at me. If it wasn't for Sir Bakugou interfering and stopping them I would've been a slave possibly forever from my own mistake. Not to say you can't trust anyone Kizuna, but at some point even you have to understand you're only going to be bitten by the hand you are trying to feed." she finished explaining.

Kizuna now looked utterly down, she understood Neia's whole story and how much it fit with the situation now. She felt truly alone again and it was now hard to even believe in herself anymore.

Bakugou then said, "You understand now Pigtails. This isn't some pretend game where you can just boost your charisma points and get whatever you need for some pacifist run. This is real life, and you need to grow up and face the facts reality is showing you." he scolds her hoping the cardinal hunter hero understands now.

Kizuna now looked utterly depressed by this whole situation, that what she is trying to do is considered "childish" and it's what everyone sees it as, "I...I...I..." Kizuna said softly now getting teary-eyed. But after a few seconds of silence of thinking to herself and gripping her cardinal weapon harder, she shouts, "I still want to try!"

This surprised everyone there including Bakugou.

Kizuna then continued, "I still want to try! To make everything better for everyone! Call me naive, call me foolish, maybe you are right, but I don't care. I want to make all of our worlds a better place where everyone can be happy to do whatever they want in peace. Even if it's way out there I still want to try. That was how I managed to get through in the Labyrinth, if I really thought how all of you guys thought where there seemed to be no hope and it was truly pointless to try, I would've just killed myself and ended it there. But I didn't let myself fall into despair like that, I maintained my own hope that help would eventually come even if it took years. And despite me waiting that long it worked, you guys showed up and helped rescue me out of it as I helped you find a way out. That was me keeping what I believed in and not losing who I am."

She then looked toward Bakugou directly, "Bakugou you think the whole world is cruel and nasty, and that gives you the right to be cruel and nasty back. It's what everyone else here thought so as well, including my own friends who try to justify themselves in trying to murder billions. But for me, I don't want this world and I don't want it to stay that way, like I said already I want a world where everyone is at peace, one without fear of one another, and without having to resort to do things bad guys would do. Perhaps it is childish, but I still want to achieve it, even if it's on a weak foundation I'm ready to be its pillar if I have to, all with a smile on my face. Is that not what all heroes strive to do in the first place?" she then raised her hand out to Bakugou, "So Bakugou, would you prefer to rest under a crumbling foundation of cruelty, or will you help me to be a pillar of peace with me?" she finished with her hand still out, now more determined to speak against her most brutal critic.

But as Bakugou looked down at the hand and heard that whole thing, he realized how much of this sounded familiar. It sounded so much what All Might would say, his world's greatest hero, the man who has been called the Pillar of Peace itself, even when he lost the last embers of his quirk against the ultimate form of evil with All for One, All Might was still able to raise his arm out in the end and give one final punch to stop him. It also reminded him of someone else that he didn't want to think about... Izuku, the kid who he saw as a loser who wasn't going to accomplish anything, but despite the reality of his quirkless nature Izuku continued on even after mocking him on the idea over and over again. Izuku then finally got to meet All Might, and then his brave but stupid action on the slime villain made All Might see him through what Izuku's spirit and character were, and chose him as the successor to his quirk, and now had the chance to be a hero himself, beating the odds and going the distance.

Just thinking about all of that combined with this situation was annoying him as he clutches his fists, "Damn it Pigtails, you're reminding me way too much of Deku, even whining as much as he did." He finally comments which confuses Kizuna.

"Deku? What do you mean by Deku?" Kizuna asked.

"Forget it!" Bakugou yelled and just turned himself away, "If you're this fucking determined that this stupid peaceful tea party crap will work then go right ahead and try it already and see if it doesn't crash and burn on your face. But I'm only giving you 24 hours on this Pigtails, you get nowhere by then, I'm taking over and interrogating her again how I want to, and if you get in my way again." Bakugou then let out a small but flashy explosion from his clutched hand, "I will push back this time." he finished and continued walking some distance away from her with his sidekicks following with him.

Kizuna sighed as she lowered her hand, she may not have truly convinced Bakugou, but at least he was going to let her do what she wanted even if it was just for a day.

Glass, Therese, and Larc watch on from that tense event. Larc tried to lighten the mood, "Perhaps I could go back and reinstate that ban on him again-OW!" Larc said with Glass aggressively elbowing him in the chest, "I was joking!" he shouted now rubbing his chest after that.

Glass sighed and looked back at Kizuna, "Are you sure you'll be alright on your own?" she asked her friend.

Kizuna nods back, "Yes, I'll be fine. You 3 probably should keep an eye on Bakugou just in case anything happens." she says to Glass who along with Therese and Larc nod back as they follow Bakugou and his crew who were not far setting up a small camp.

With them gone, it was just Kizuna and Yomogi by themselves now, "Alright then let me show you inside." Kizuna tells Yomogi who was now just confused by this whole situation with all of her thoughts conflicting with one another. Despite this being her enemy she decided to play along and followed Kizuna into the house.

Once inside Kizuna immediately unlocked her cuffs as they dropped on the floor, "You can now find a place to sit and relax." Kizuna casually says to her "guest".

Yomogi looks around the cottage wanting to remain cautious, but for this being the hunter hero's headquarters it was completely homely.

"Here we go." Kizuna said as she walked with a teapot and headed to a small dining table Yomogi was next to, "What's wrong? You're more than welcome to take a seat?" she said kindly to her guest as she poured some tea to two cups on the table.

"I'm shocked." Yomogi said which confused Kizuna, "I wondered what the base of Kyo's enemies looked like and expected something malicious looking. But this is completely normal." Yomogi continued.

Kizuna just smiled again, "Ha, take a seat." she casually responds with Yomogi finally deciding to sit down on the chair with Kizuna doing the same on the other chair.

Once fully seated Yomogi finally decided to talk, "While different in many ways, this place reminds me of being back home for a bit. It looks like a place Kyo and I grew up at."

"Really?" Kizuna says back as she picks up her tea cup, "Well you don't need to tell me anything you don't want to. But I'm curious about that, about you two. Can you tell me more about it?" she continued with her friendly look.

Yomogi didn't want to blab everything about herself, but with how kind the Hunter hero was treating her as well as her growing doubts of Kyo, Yomogi was silent for a few more seconds and then finally spoke, "When we were younger, we were childhood friends. Kyo was always a strange child, he was raised under an old necromancer until he passed away in his sleep. Kyo never played with anyone and whore strange clothes. But whenever I talked to him he would tell me about so many fascinating things. About the books he read, the various countries of the world, and even of the waves."

"He knew about the waves?" Kizuna asked

Yomogi nods, "Yes, Kyo showed his genius at an early age. He looked up whatever he didn't know on his own until he knew everything. I took a liking to him and learned many things alongside him. Maybe it was the way he talked about it all. But the more I learned from him and listened to what he had to say, the more I started wanting to help him. I'm not smart like him though, so all I could do was be his loyal bodyguard. I know more than anyone else what Kyo is truly like, but I may be guilty of seeing him go too far and just ignoring it."

"Does he do this for his noble goal of stopping the waves for good?" Kizuna asked.

Yomogi was silent for a few more seconds then said, "He claims so, but still... the way the Shield hero acted."

Kizuna let out a sigh, "I'm so sorry for what Bakugou did to you earlier. Despite his erratic personality, he has a heart under that anger. He's just extremely paranoid and has a hard time trusting people." she explained trying to allevitate on what happened earlier.

Yomogi shook her head to that, "No, the faces he made, the way he spoke, and the way he reacted. He was a man certain in what he knew. And not just him, but his subordinates as well, especially hearing the story the weasel girl said, of Kyo torturing and mocking them out of pure pleasure. No just cause would excuse such a thing. Is he truly doing evil things beyond redemption that I've been truly blind to see?..." she then went silent for a few more seconds having a lot of troubled thoughts.

Kizuna nods back to her, "This is perfect then, 'cause I know I can help you. We don't just want to fight, we want to talk to Kyo more than anything."

Yomogi then looked away saddened, "Still I'm not sure yet if I want to believe it, it's just... it's just... oh I don't know right now." she explains still having a very conflicting mind.

Kizuna smiles and pours more tea, "Well let's not rush things. We have all night to figure it all out. I can start by telling you stories of me and my friends adventures together." she says remaining friendly to her guest.

Yomogi continued to remain conflicted in her head about the whole situation and said in her head 'Please make me see this as untrue Kyo, please don't make me think you really are an evil man.'

Hours later near evening outside of the cottage Bakugou's team and Kizuna's friends remained camped out not far from the house to make sure nothing funny happened with Kizuna and Yomogi.

Despite some time passing, the situation remains somewhat tense for the groups. Even if they don't truly believe in what Kizuna is doing, Larc, Therese, and Glass still want to support her in all they can. But Bakugou's little deadline was making things complicated on what they would do if Kizuna resisted him in any way. They can only hope Kizuna gets some sort of breakthrough or just admits defeat and gets out of the Shield hero's way.

Bakugou's sidekicks were feeling the same even if they were going to remain on his side of this debate. Neia looked the most worried even when playing along with her shikigami Blue, "Sir Bakugou, I do hope this can end peacefully and no fights start up because of this. Not saying we would lose but I think we would all prefer no bloodshed and waste our energy while Kyo is watching us." she speaks her thoughts trying to not argue Bakugou's opinions.

"Ha, if Pigtails is smart, she'll realize she's wasting her time with that bitch and learn to grow up," Bakugou says out loud who was also playing with his toddler form dragon.

Rino then spoke up, "Well you never know, even to us we saw the impossible happen."

Daven nods in agreement, "Yeah when I first saw you guys, I originally thought you be privileged lackeys to The Shield church and the council and had proved me wrong."

Bakugou shakes his head in disapproval to that, "That is different Daven, you were making an educated guess before. We all know this is stupid and we're just letting wide-eyed Pigtails have her stupid talk with the idiot lacky."

Rifana then spoke up, "Well it's still nice of you letting Kizuna have her time. Perhaps something might come up that we may have never known from talking rather than through interrogation."

Bakugou huffed to that, "I highly doubt it, but we'll see tomorrow and if she found jack shit I'll be the one to get that information out of that green haired bitch whether she likes how I do it it or not."

Neia then spoke up, "I hope Kizuna does find something, after all of this I don't think we need more fight-"

*BOOOOM*

Suddenly a huge explosion was heard from a far distance.

It was nowhere near the cottage but toward the direction of the capital grabbing everyone's attention.

"What was that?!" Rifana shouted with everyone else wondering as well.

"Whatever it was, it's not good!" Bakugou responds as he and everyone turn toward the direction of the explosion wondering what could've made such a thing, they soon realize it wasn't a one off as they see minor explosions in the distance.

The explosion was also heard from inside the cottage as Yomogi and Kizuna ran out to find out what that was. Kizuna hoped it wasn't Bakugou finally going off but she was thankful it seemed to not be the case as she ran toward him and her friends, "What was that?!" she immediately asked.

Bakugou was the first to respond as he points to Yomogi, "I don't know yet but I have a feeling this bitch is most likely involved!" he accuses the woman who was as confused as everyone else.

"I had nothing to do with this, I've been both cursed and weaponless and was inside the whole time! I can't make explosions like that far away!" Yomogi defended herself despite not being as hostile as before, she wasn't going to let herself be accused of something she didn't do.

"Yes Bakugou she was inside with me the whole time!" Kizuna defends her with Bakugou still looking annoyed by the whole situation.

Larc then spoke up himself, "We can all wonder who did it later! We need to get to that spot now to stop more from happening!" he said with everyone including Bakugou having to agree with him.

Glass using her long-range magic senses tries to find the location and quickly does and to her shock, "It's near the temple of the dragon hourglass!" she gasped in a now worried tone.

Larc now looked worried himself, "Shit! This is not good, if some enemy nation opens it up, they can spawn a whole army in the middle of the capital from their hourglass!"

With this information, everyone there knew the stakes had gotten higher now if this truly was the case, "Well let's not waste time and stop them already!" Bakugou shouts already thinking this has Kyo written all over.

But before they stormed off Daven pointed to Yomogi, "What about her?" he asked.

"She will be fine in the cottage until we get back." Kizuna responds.

Bakugou though disagrees, "Like hell I'm letting this bitch just have the chance to make a run for it! And her evil little master is probably involved in this shit!"

Glass then suggested, "How about applying a serving talisman on her to prevent Yomogi from running away and Therese and Miss Neia's Shikigami can keep an I on her."

Surprisingly even Yomogi agrees to it, "Yes, apply it to me and let me at least see if this truly involves Kyo, I need to see it with my own eyes!"

Despite some reluctance, Bakugou nods in agreement to it, "If Pigtails doesn't throw a hissy fit over it fine by me." he agrees knowing with how slave crests work in Melromarc he can see the same benefits to prisoners having a similar thing on.

Even if she didn't like it herself in basically enslaving people, Kizuna knew this was probably the only way to get anywhere and sighed, "Fine if Yomogi agrees, then let's just do it and get it over with." she agreed.

Glass then took a talisman out of her Kimono, enchanted it, and immediately slapped it on Yomogi's chest with its magic already taking effect, "That should do it, this will keep her from leaving and disobeying her master." she said.

With that done everyone turns back to the direction of the explosion as Bakugou jumps on his now teen form dragon, "Then enough talking! Head that way now!" he yells with him and everyone else running toward the action and hoping they are not too late.

Within the town itself, a brutal battle near the hourglass temple was taking place as guards and priests did all they could to stop the enemy who were not great in number but were all strong.

It was bloody on both sides but it seemed the enemy was winning as they broke through most of the defenses and were now in the courtyard near the tall temple of Sickle's dragon hourglass.

"There it is. All we need to do is to touch it and Raybul's full military force will appear right on the enemy's capital and the war will be over in less than one day." a hooded figure said with the other hooded figure nodding in agreement.

"Kyo's reach will extend further and Kazuki will be resurrected." the other hooded figure said.

More guards were trying to stop them but these two were strong enough to easily overpower them, either killing them instantly or sending them across the courtyard severely injured.

With most resistance being crushed, it seemed Kyo's victory was at hand as the small army approached the tall stairway to the hourglass.

But then they were stopped by a large fireball being blasted on the ground near the hourglass stairway.

The small army turned and saw that the fireball came from a large horse sized dragon with the off world shield hero riding it until he launched himself off the dragon and lands on the ground with Kizuna, her friends, and his sidekicks not far behind catching up to him, "Sorry we're late for the party, but I think it's time for me to put four eye's bitches down!" he mocked the small enemy army as he has his shield up and ready.

The two powerful hooded figures then pull off their robes after quickly recognizing the shield hero, these two were the two women that were of late Kazuki's harem, but now half of their bodies have been mutated with animal parts, one now half white tiger and the other now half dragon. They weren't the only ones either the small army who were all also women had similar mutations while holding weapons as well.

Once everyone else finally caught up to Bakugou, they were horrified to see what their opponents looked like, "What's wrong with them?" Rifana asked, even after spending her life with other demi-humans she had never seen anyone looking like this before.

Glass responds, "They're Chimeras, poor souls who have been fused with spirits that have mutated their bodies." everyone continued to look horrified to see such people being inflected to such transformations but they couldn't let such things cloud their minds as they ready for battle.

The woman with the tiger parts then took out her sword and pointed toward Bakugou, the sword being almost identical to the one Yomogi had before, "You monster! You and your filthy beast murdered Kazuki! He'll be avenged before his resurrection! We'll cut your limbs up and then let you witness Kyo's armies burn Sickle to the ground! Then Kyo himself will make sure you suffer in every creative way he can! Attack!" she screams as she and the rest of the small army of mutated women attack the heroes.

Bakugou blasts himself toward the mutant tiger woman as his shield and her sword clash with each other starting a vicious battle between the two, despite Bakugou's power the woman was no slouch being far more powerful than Yomogi was, thanks to the mutations increasing her speed and strength. But it was nothing the shield could handle as he blasted and jumped all over the place to fight her.

The other girl of Kazuki's harem, the mutated half-dragon woman goes after Neia to take back Kazuki's supposed vassal weapon, but Neia who makes the blade into two also clashes with the woman with Rino also helping her out as support.

Everyone else begins a massive battle between the heroes and Kyo's mutant chimera army. With Glass and Larc being the brunt of the force attacking multiple enemies at once using their vassal weapons both from magic and the weapons themselves. Even Kizuna was helping with her weapon despite not being able to damage them, it seems that even when mutated these chimeras were still considered people.

Some distance away from the battle Yomogi and Therese with Blue on her shoulder watch on in safety, with the jewel woman keeping an eye on the former despite her servant talisman she wanted to remain cautious of her, while Blue uses her magic to protect them from any stragglers. Though Yomogi herself was watching the battle looking concernly confused with some faces she was recognizing, "Could these really be?" she says quietly to herself, she was still in the unknown about all of this and could only watch on until the battle was over.

They were outnumbered 20 to 1, but the heroes maintained their momentum even when the enemy tried to overwhelm them. However this number advantage was rapidly decreasing as more of the enemies started to die off. Some heroes tried to just knock a few out, but nothing they did would make them stay down, even when their arms and legs get cut off, the other chimeras use blood magic to kill their now useless comrades to heal themselves.

Bakugou and Neia were still fighting off their main opponents with these two harem girls being the strongest of them, a few of the enemies attempted to help their team leaders by attacking from the sides, but Neia's and Bakugou's reflexes and Rino helping Neia out made quick work of them.

The tiger-hybrid mutant woman tried all she could to break through Bakugou's defense but even with all the armor piercing her sword had it wasn't enough. She then fired a magic laser at the hero and then yelled, "One of you just get to the hourglass now! Just touch it and we will win this battle." she then jumped and lunged attack at Bakugou who easily jumped out of the way and fires an explosion back.

After hearing that order a couple of the enemy stragglers who were not directly engaging the heroes begin running up the long steps of stairs to the hourglass or those with wings try flying to it.

However Rifana after Kirishima helped relieve her from fighting combatants, began firing many different arrows at those running up the stairs and flying, shooting them in the backs of the heads, legs, or wings, they tried all they could to ignore the pain to get up the stairs to the hourglass but all end up dying before they can get to it.

But with so many now getting up the stairs with some also applying magic to one another one was getting extremely close to the hourglass. Rifana fired as many arrows as she could at her but the chimera endured the pain and once just a few feet from the hourglass she just jumped at it.

But before she could touch it, Daven popped up right in front of her, and both stopped and stabbed the mutant woman in the chest with his Sai's, stopping her in place as the dying girl struggled to reach for the hourglass, but was unable to and quickly dies. Since he was up there anyway, Daven makes sure any stragglers Rifana is unable to immediately take down are stopped before getting close to the hourglass.

The battle continues on below but it is quickly going into the heroes favor as more and more chimeras get killed off. Bakugou and Neia also continued fighting their opponents.

The dragon-hybrid woman eventually attempts to ignore Neia and aims for Rino thinking taking out the mage in battle will make it easier, but Neia's speed makes it impossible for her to be ignored. Despite the mutant's power the woman starts to get beaten by a thousand cuts from Neia's blades and Rino's spells. She finally just goes into a sort of berserker mode with her defense and attacks skyrocketed, as the Dragon mutant attacks with all of her power to overwhelm and kill the new Katana hero.

But even with her high powered attacks, Neia stood her ground from the rapid fired stab and swing attacks with her opponent's spear, and any enemy trying to take advantage of the situation gets blasted by Rino or Kirishima.

After a few more seconds though it seemed that the berserker mode had expired, this allowed Neia to get a good slash across her opponent's chest and then immediately fires an electric attack.

However, despite the amount of volts being produced the dragon mutant woman was not being affected and actually began to smile, "Ha! Kyo made sure my electric resistance was near perfected! As the perfect counter against you!" she mocks her and then jumps at Neia with fast speed as she then attempts to breathe fire on her face.

But Neia's reflexes caught the attack in time with one of her katana blades disappearing, then she yelled, "Water stream!" and with her free hand Neia fired a fast acting water blast directly into the dragon mutant's mouth. That quickly puts out the fires in her mouth and completely blinds her from the sheer force of the water getting on her eyes as the chimera woman now staggered from the pain, "Kyo seemed to have forgotten I had water attacks as well." Neia mocked back.

Her opponent attempts to look back up to attack again despite her near blindness, but...

"Arcane missile!" Rino shouts and without a second to react the dazed Dragon mutant woman had her head blasted with a powerful orb of light from Rino's staff-spear. Almost instantly the dragon hybrids head was completely vaporized leaving just a lifeless headless body that fell on the ground.

Neia smiled at her friend, "Thanks for that." she thanked with Rino smiling back, and without a second to break the two went back to fighting the other enemies that were now on their last legs.

Bakugou was still in his intense duel with the tiger hybrid mutant woman being the strongest by far with her powerful sword. He blocks each of her attacks and then blasts back with his damaging quirk, her healing factor was the only thing keeping her alive but even this was near its limits, "DIE! Die already you evil bastard!" she screams while swinging her sword as fast as she could, but now Bakugou was now just dodging her swings not even allowing her to hit the shield just to mess with his opponent.

"How about you first inform the bookworm bastard that if he is going to send idiots after us, how about they not be a bunch of whores from the other dead bastard's harem!' Bakugou mocks her, finally getting an opening to blast the mutant woman across the face sending her flying across the field.

The tiger hybrid woman looks up back at Bakugou with her human side face now partially damaged with much of her skin burnt, but she now looks absolutely furious, "Don't you dare mock Kazuki!" she screams in rage and like her friend before she goes into a berserker mode as she swings her sword toward Bakugou as much as possible, Bakugou continued to dodge or block these attacks while also noticing the sword was glowing like Yomogi's did before and knew what this meant.

Bakugou continued to let the tiger hybrid woman wale on his shield as much as possible until she grew tired, then she screwed up with one swing allowing Bakugou to blast her in the eyes temporarily blinding her, as he quickly grabbed her arm, point her sword to her body and blast at the bottom of her elbow with the sword impaling through her body.

Despite the sword literally being through her body the Tiger hybrid woman was still alive and standing, but in pain. She attempted to pull her sword out of herself but the sword's magic vines began to cover herself making sure it wouldn't going to be let go as the eye on the hilt glowed brighter and brighter.

Bakugou knew what he had to do next and uppercut punched the woman's chin sending her a few feet in the air as he then slid on the ground and let out a double explosion on her back sending the woman way higher in the air.

Even high in the air, the woman struggles to free herself from the sword as it continues to glow brighter and brighter, she knows what this means and just says, "We failed you Kazuki."

*Booooooom*

Like before the sword explodes high in the air causing no collateral damage while vaporizing its wielder.

And with her death the battle was over, Kyo's quick infiltration plan failed with his small army of Chimera also now dead.

Kirishima and Daven moved around the area to make sure no one else was hiding away, while everyone else went around helping out the wounded guards and priests.

Neia was in the middle of healing one as Larc approached them, "What happened here?" he asked as a concerned king.

The priest despite his injuries responds, "A bunch of airships came out of nowhere, they looked to have been Raybul's, the boat hero Ethnobalt engaged them with his own flying boat, but one of the ships had many people jumping out the sides of it while he was busy, and they were the ones who you just fought. We tried all we could to stop them, but they were far more powerful than they looked, we don't know what we would've done had you and the others not arrived on time your majesty.".

"Airships? Seriously!? These assholes have an air force as well?!" Bakugou complained.

"Yeah, a primitive one of blimps and stuff but still an air force." Kizuna answers him.

"And I can only guess who would be the one to have given them such knowledge to make one in the first place." Bakugou adds, he wished that he'd taken one of the enemies as a prisoner to question but it seemed these girls were more fanatic than even Yogomi and wouldn't have gotten anything out of them anyway.

But speaking of Yogomi, she looks around herself at the bodies, both of Sickle guards and priests and the mutant chimera women. The latter especially was disturbing her, recognizing some of their faces, "This can't... this can't be them. Kyo please don't let this be." she said with a lot of sadness in her tone.

"What's wrong Yogomi?" Kizuna asked with Bakugou just rolling his eyes that she was still trying to be nice to her.

"I recognize most of the girls here. Before they were all normal young woman with many not being over 20. They were lost women, living in squander or were forced to work in brothels to survive. Kyo took them in, said he would help them and heal their trauma and give them new lives to be happier in. But this... but this... This is awful! It couldn't have been him!" Yomogi responded now almost to tears as she saw what Kyo was really doing with them, and if he lied about them who knew how much more he lied about and what evil he continues to do.

She then heard some faint coughing not far from her. She approached it and saw that it was one of the girls with bird-like features on the ground still barely alive missing her legs and a missing winged arm, bleeding out from her side. At her state even healing magic wouldn't save her and would just prolong her suffering. Yomogi got on her knees and grabbed the girl's remaining human arm, "Mesu, can you hear me?" Yomogi asked her softly.

Despite coughing blood the girl responds, "*cough* yes miss Yomogi, it just hurts really bad. I want it to stop." she cries in a painful tone.

Yomogi held her hand harder and then asked, "Who did this to you? And for what purpose?" she asked hoping what she was thinking wasn't true.

The girl after coughing some more responded, "It was *cough* it was lord Kyo, he said that he would make us strong and promised that we would get what we deserved after helping him out. Though he never said before that we be turned into chimeras. Me and the others would've been horrified by what he did, but after he gave us an orange potion it felt like all of those issues went away and it was almost impossible to disagree with him."

Yomogi put one hand down as she clutched it into a fist knowing what Mesu was describing, "He gave you a mind control potion. That bastard! He told me that it was only to be used to manipulate corrupt lords! He lied to all of us!" she yelled now with some tears coming down her eyes. But she then looked back at the girl as she coughed again, "Does it still hurt Mesu?" she then asked.

"Yes.. *cough* it still hurts, I just want it to stop, Kyo said he would end our pains but pain is all I feel right now." Mesu responds with even her now crying from the wounds. She then looks back to Yomogi again as she takes out a knife, "Can you help me end it?" she asks.

With more tears coming out of her face, Yomogi barely had the strength to say anything else, but finally said, "Yes, I'll help make the pain go away forever." she says as Yomogi holds on to the girl's knife hand and placed the dagger on her chest. Yomogi remained silent for a few seconds wondering if the poor girl wanted to change her mind or not to end her life and suffering there.

But Mesu nods back in approval and with her final confirmation Yomogi pushes the knife down on her chest, quickly killing the girl and putting her out of her misery.

Despite that being her final wish Yomogi felt endless grief for not just her, but all the other girls here who had their bodies violated with mutation and their lives wasted like this. And she knew this was all of Kyo's doing, he was responsible for all of this and realized now she was just another pawn to him like the others here, "Why Kyo!? WHY!? Even if this was somehow supposed to help end the waves, no such thing should ever justify this kind of evil! This was all that it was evil! Evil! You really have lost your way, if you even had one to begin with! I trusted you as did these poor girls before! And this is what you do with us!" she yells toward the sky, full of both grief and sadness, as well as anger and rage.

She now no longer cared about the waves, that evil could be dealt with later, right now Yomogi knew there was a greater evil that had to be put down as soon as possible and she knew she could help end it.

The other heroes watch on to the whole thing, with a few of them feeling bad for the girl including Kizuna, "Yomogi are you alright?" she asked softly.

Bakugou then huffed, "Ha, it seems the dumbass finally figured out what a shit person her precious bookworm really was." he expressed not feeling bad about the girl that attempted to murder them earlier that day.

Kizuna immediately got mad and turned to the shield hero, "Bakugou please! You are not helping in this situation, she needs to-"

"No the shield hero is right." said a voice and when Kizuna turned it was Yomogi who finally wiped away the tears from her eyes and now had a face of anger once more, "After hearing everything the Shield hero and his team said before of what Kyo had done, and then this horrible act he has done with these poor women. Even if it was to stop the waves, this evil can't ever be justified! It wouldn't matter in the end. He has truly lost his way, I can see it now, and I want to stop him!"

Everyone looked shocked to hear all of this from her even Bakugou to some degree.

Kizuna also looked confused, "Yomogi are you sure about this? You said before he was your friend?" she asked her.

Yomogi nods back, "Yes, but even as a former friend, I can no longer look away from his evil and allow this misery to continue. He must be punished for his sins, even if it means to be put to death. He will atone, and I'll suffer alongside him.", she said then turned toward Bakugou, "Shield hero Bakugou was it? If you want the location to Kyo's lab , then I'll provide them to you and Sickle's king. I just want to be there myself, even if I'm not allowed a weapon and have this talisman remain on me, I must see Kyo in his true form myself and make sure he does pay for his sins. After that, you can kill me if you wish and I won't resist." she continued with eyes back on Bakugou.

After hearing all of that Bakugou just let out a sigh, "Fine, if you provide us with legit information then I'll be glad to blast that bastard's head into pieces and make sure he stays dead this time for you. But if I find out you're pulling any crap, I will also be glad to blast your face off!" he says and yelled to her, even if Bakugou had some doubts he can tell from her tone and voice that she was truly pissed off and now wants Kyo's head as much he does right now.

"Thank you." Yomogi's nods back.

Larc then says, "Alright, why don't we talk more in the castle, and hopefully by tomorrow we'll make sure that bastard pays for everything he has done." he said to her as Yomogi nodded back in agreement.

And with that after healing the injured who are then taken to the hospital, the heroes head their way to the castle to as Larc said plan out their mission to assault Kyo's base of operations and end his evil for good.

As they were walking Kizuna smiled and turned toward Bakugou, "So when are you going to say it?"

"Say what?" Bakugou questioned

"Say that you were sorry that it was stupid of me to want to talk to Yomogi and find out about Kyo."

Bakugou just laughed, "Ha, I still think it's stupid, you just got lucky bookworm pulled this stunt and made the idiot change her mind... ugh, but I guess it did work in the end, what was that saying? A broken clock is always right twice a day. Besides we still have until tomorrow to know if she isn't just a lying bitch or not, so we'll see by then."

Kizuna let out a sigh and Rino added in, "That's probably the closest you'll be getting an apology out of Sir Bakugou.".

Kizuna then smiled back, "I guess so."

Neia then spoke out, "Well it's like Rino said before we sometimes see the impossible happen, like we have today. So we might have one again tomorrow."

"Just stay focused all of you, Bookworm no doubt has tricks up his sleeve. So once we get to his base we'll make sure he doesn't come back." Bakugou says with the sidekicks nodding in agreement.

Kizuna remained silent, hoped she could at least get a chance to talk with Kyo before Bakugou kills him if he does know anything about the waves.

Unknown to all of them though, they were being watched. From a crystal ball inside the evil sorcerer's lair, Kyo witnessed the whole fiasco as he smiled from his desk, then said, "That's right Katsuki Bakugou, come right to me and we'll see how well the future number one hero tries to fight me again."

It was the next day, all the heroes were outside the castle in the woods, the heroes as well a volunteer force of a bunch of knights and warriors were there. Prepared to begin their assault on the book hero's base of operations.

Bakusquad were now also dawning their old equipment again, now upgraded thanks to Miss Rolena, "Against all odds I did what you said and finished it all in one night. Hope you all like it. And as you requested Shield Hero I only upgraded the magic and material of your gauntlets and did not mess with all of its inside machinery, and I've also made that amulet so that as long as you are wearing it you and your team should be able to use your equipment here in this world." she said to them and to Bakugou.

Not much of shield hero and sidekicks appearance wise has changed, though as the blacksmith said Bakugou got himself a new small necklace talisman with a bright red gem in the middle, "So what's with the gem redhead?" he asked knowing this wasn't just any magic gem as he observed the crystal.

"It's been imbued with a part of the soul of the great Demon Dragon that Kizuna helped defeat long ago, I've also used its and that guardian beast clones bones and skin to boost up your equipment." Rolena explained feeling proud of all of her work that wasted a whole night to make right.

"Bones and skin I'm fine with, but is it really a good idea to have the soul of a literal Demon emperor hanging on my neck?" Bakugou commented.

Kizuna though spoke up, "Don't worry, that monster's body has been killed for real and his soul has been blown to pieces, he won't be coming back. Glass ensure it herself."

As much as Bakugou had his suspicions about this, he would rather have his old equipment than the stuff he had before and just sighed, "Fine if it allows me to use my old stuff then I'll keep it on. But if anything funny happens that involves this demon dragon I know who I'm blaming here. I'm already putting in a lot of trust to the green haired bitch." he says to Kizuna who was just glad Bakugou has been mostly cooperative since last night with Yomogi giving Kyo's base location.

"Thank you again for all of this miss Rolena." Neia said herself, in her old armor again with a new sheath to properly fit her katana vassal weapon in as well as a spare when she needs to dual wield it.

"No problem, though of course this hard work will have to be compensated especially with the tight deadline you gave me." Rolena says and extends out papers which were the bills for the upgraded equipment with many numbers on them.

Without hesitation, Bakugou grabs the papers and shoves them to Larc, "I believe the young master here will be paying for all of this." Bakugou snarked with a smug smile.

"Hey I told you to not call me!... ugh ok fine, I'll send the bill to the castle and they'll pay for everything." Larc annoyingly responds as he hands the bills to a nearby servant as they head for the castle, he knows he will be hearing the complaining of a bunch of advisors later about this but he rather focus on the incoming battle than thinking about armor bills right now.

Rolena smiles and turns away, "Sounds good your majesty. I wish all of you good luck, make good use of my hard work." she says and heads her way back to town and get a good and well deserved sleep.

After she left Yomogi decided to approach the parties, "Thank you once more for allowing me to come with you to the assault on Kyo's base. I'll aid you as much as I can to make sure Kyo does atone for his evil." she says to Bakugou and the other heroes. She was also now carrying a sword with her, being the only weapon she is allowed to use by her serving talisman.

"Whatever green hair, just make sure you do as told and stay out of the way, and like I said before do anything funny and you'll be joining Bookworm in hell with him." Bakugou says to Yomogi who nods in agreement knowing this was just the shield hero being cautious.

Glass then spoke, "As long as the serving talisman remains on her she won't be doing anything we don't want her to." she confirmed to keep the Shield hero at ease, she knows that everyone needs to be focused on the battle at hand with Kyo and one major slip up could mean either someone dying or the evil bastard escaping.

Larc then turns to his other friend, "You sure about coming Therese?" he asks her.

The gem woman nods to her king, "Yes, I won't be able to join you in battle, but there needs to be someone to watch over the troops and help with Ethnobalt if he needs any assistance. Just be careful and don't do anything reckless Larc. The future of Sickle depends on you." she says to him who was happy that Therese could still contribute, even as a supporting role with her curse.

Daven then spoke up, "We are still basically going to be trespassing into an enemy nation on the verge of starting a war with your guy's nation. You'll be risking a lot even if we succeed in defeating Kyo" he brought up, as much as he wanted to end the evil bastard for good as the rest of them, he had to also think about the aftermath of all of this as well.

Glass responds, "Well if we succeed, Raybul will be crippled on the global scale when they lose one of their vassal hero and weapon's. As I mentioned before with Miss Neia they mean a lot for the balance of power between nations especially for diplomatic clout. Losing even one would be a devastating blow and they already lost their Katana weapon. Without the book they will have to negotiate if they even want their weapon back and not be preyed upon by their other neighbors." she explains with Larc and Kizuna nodding to confirm her, this now just made defeating Kyo more important and not letting him get away. The last thing this world needs is wars being declared on while the waves are still coming.

Eventually after a few more minutes, Ethnobalt's massive flying boat appears above and hovers close to the ground with its user just as ready as the heroes and soldiers were for the assault.

Larc then raised his weapon up, "Alright everyone! I'll make this short and to the point! We're all going to assault that bastard Kyo's base and kick him down for good. I want to thank you all for volunteering in this dangerous mission, it means a lot to me and this kingdom. It will be dangerous, but I think all of you already knew that when joining up, you know this isn't just for personal pride or glory, this is for our kingdom, for our families, and for our future. So I thank you again, now let's go and kick that bastard's ass!" he finished his short speech to the soldiers who cheer on to their king, now more motivated than ever to help on this mission.

The heroes were ready and motivated as well including the shield hero as he cracks his shoulders a bit, "Sounds good, let's kick some ass."

Soon everyone was on Ethnobalt's flying boat with Yomogi pointing to the location of Kyo's base on his navigator map projection.

With the location set, Ethnobalt teleports the boat out of Sickle in a flash.

Just as quickly the flying boat appears in Raybul, but in what looks to be in the middle of a forest in the front was a small mountain, and at the base of it was what looked to be empty ruins. But everyone knew well what this was as Yomogi pointed down toward it, "There it is, Kyo's base!" she shouted to confirm it.

*Boom*

But to everyone's shock, an explosion went off on the side of the ship, it was the explosion of a cannonball. Thankfully Ethnobalt's boat's magical shields prevented harm from anybody but it definitely got their attention, "Look's like we got a welcoming party!" Neia shouts and points outward to where the canon ball came from.

It was a small fleet of flying airships numbering at least 7, they were blimp-like air balloons around the same size as Ethnolbalt's flying boat though a lot more primitive and crude looking in comparison, all armed with cannons as they began firing at the attacking enemy force.

"I'm guessing that's their air force!?" Bakugou yells already knowing the answer.

"Unfortunately yes!" Kizuna shouted as the boat's shields continued getting blasted by more cannon fire.

Ethnolbalt then hits his staff on the floor and at the sides of the ship it reveals multiple holes that emerged canons of their own, "No need to worry about me, I and Miss Therese can handle them! Get down below and take out the vassal book wielder!" Ethnobalt shouts with everyone else there nodding in agreement.

Neia then gives Therese her Blue's shikigami card, "In case of an emergency use her." she says to the gem warrior who nods back.

Ethnobalt then raised his staff up as he uses his magic to teleport everyone below. Right before they phased away Therese says, "Good luck everyone." she finishes and the heroes and the small army on board teleport away.

They all instantly appeared on the ground right below in the woods as the airships began their sky battle with canon fire going off all above them.

The heroes didn't have the time to watch the spectacle and all ran toward the ruins and defeat Kyo for good.

But as they emerged from the forest, the ruins weren't as abandoned as they looked.

Right outside of the entrance, there was a significant garrison army of both Raybul soldiers and more Chimera mutants of Kyo's, ready to fight and stop anyone from entering the evil sorcerer's lair.

The Sickle heroes and troops remained stationed where they were, they knew they were up against an army they were outnumbered at least 4 to 1, so their next actions would be crucial.

Kizuna looks up to Larc, "Ok so what's the plan now?" she asked him.

Larc was now looking nervous, he usually prefers to just attack and think what to do next while in combat, but right now he was hoping Glass would say something, "Ugh... well I think we might.."

"I already know what to do." said a voice that turned out to be Bakugou as he got on Kirishima in his teen form as a mount, "I'll led the way and soak up all they can throw at me then Kirishima and I will spearhead our way through the bastards with you and my sidekicks following right behind, and once they start firing for a few seconds at me our army will engage without having to worry about long range fire. And once we're inside, the troops will remain out here to keep the rest of the enemy army at bay and any possible reinforcements to be distracted." he shouted to Larc and everyone else.

Larc liked the plan and nodded toward the hero, "I would say such a thing is suicidal, but you are the shield hero after all Kiddo so I'm for it."

Bakugou groaned in annoyance and snarkily said back, "I'm glad you agree young master."

"Stop calling me that!" Larc yelled, somewhat lighting the mood for everyone who also agreed on the plan as they were ready to enact it.

"Charge!" Bakugou yelled at Kirishima as the teen Dragon roared then galloped his way directly toward Kyo's base with the other heroes and sidekicks following behind them.

And like he expected the enemy army responds by firing arrows and magic at the dragon. "Meteor shield!" Bakugou yelled and with his shield, he formed a protective energy shield around him and the heroes behind, as well as using other shield abilities as they tank all of the damage.

And while they were the focus of all their long range attacks, the rest of Sickle's forces were now charging in. Now safe from being picked off from arrows and magic blasts.

The enemy's long range assault continued as much as possible to kill the dragon but they had no luck as the Shield hero and his mount drew closer and closer. The enemy forces now quickly attempted to form an anti-charge pike line to stop the dragon in its place.

"Neia!" Rifana shouted pointing an arrowhead at her friend. The new Katana hero already knew what she planned and while the two were still running had combo'd spelled together with the archer's magic arrow now laced with electricity.

Rifana fires her arrow past Bakugou into the pike line, and once the arrow just hits one of the troop's armor the entire line gets collectively electrocuted by the arrows electricity magic. Their metal armor ended up working against them as the entire pike line were in so much pain they ended up dropping their weapons.

With the anti-charge pike line broken, there was now nothing stopping the Dragon and Shield hero, and once at the enemy line-

*Boom*

Bakugou starts off with a bang as he and Kirishima blast their way through the enemy sending a chunk of them flying, and this didn't slow them down as Kirishima continued charging his way through the rest of the enemy line toward the ruins.

Like a tank going through an enemy line Kirishima mauls through everything in front of him with Bakugou also blasting his quirk at the sides preventing anyone from getting close with the rest of the heroes and sidekicks following and quickly killing any undazed soldiers that tries to attack them.

Before the enemy force attempts to surround and pin them down from the back, the rest of the Sickle volunteer force finally attacks from the front. Despite still being outnumbered the enemy force was significantly weakened with their long ranged advantage also now gone.

Eventually the heroes finally made it through the enemy force and make their way into the lair entrance.

Once all the heroes and sidekicks were inside Bakugou shouted, "Rino close it up!"

Without hesitation, Rino uses her earth magic. Before any more enemy soldiers attempt to stop them Rino makes the ground at the entrance rise up in a long solid column until it completely blocks the entrance.

"That should keep them from coming in." Rino said as she and everyone else took a few seconds to rest after the sprint through the battlefield that will continue on without them, hopefully in Sickle's favor.

But after a few seconds they knew they had to get back on the task and find Kyo and stop him for good, "Follow me, I know my way through this lab. Yomogi said as she walked forward.

The others followed with Bakugou keeping an eye on her in case she tried anything funny.

The heroes go deeper into the building and soon see not only some weird equipment but also big glass tubes with some sort of green liquid and bodies of various types, many looking misshaped and mutated. It was quite a disturbing sight, that so many became guinea pigs for Kyo's experiments, "So this is Kyo's laboratory?" Neia asked Yomogi.

Yomogi shook her head, "Not his main one, this is one of many different rooms where he would do his experiments. When I originally walked through here I didn't think much of it, but now it feels like I'm in a horror story in a mad magician's lair." she said feeling more and more uneasy with how everything she knew was a lie.

"Whatever, let's just find the lab where that four eyed bastard can bring himself back to life after decapitation and then be done with him." Bakugou groans, he would like to hit that lab first before dealing with the evil sorcerer,

knowing if that lab remains Kyo can come back good as new wasting time and energy for nothing.

Yomogi stopped herself and tried to think about that particular lab, "I've never been to Kyo's resurrection lab, he keeps that place a secret even to me, but perhaps if we look around we might find something-"

"Well well well! Look who has finally decided to show up!" interrupted a loud voice that surprised everyone, and it was unfortunately a familiar sounding voice as the heroes turned toward it with both caution and anger.

And out from the shadows down the hallway emerges Kyo Ethnina himself smugly smiling as usual, "Hi there, we meet again Shield brute, I would say nice to meet you, but you just make me miserable. And you brought forth that Meathead Larc as well, you're surprisingly the very forgiving type considering he and his gang had tried to kill you and your whores world not long ago." Kyo mocks the heroes being as much of an ass as possible.

Bakugou though wasn't intimidated, "Still talking like you are some big hotshot, bookworm? Last time I saw your face, you were crying like a baby when your little soul vial was crushed." he mocked back, which struck a nerve on Kyo but he did his best to keep his composure.

"Man am I going to enjoy every second of your suffering Katsuki Bakugou. You wished that I didn't think much of you like before." Kyo said back in a more subdued tone trying his best to hold back his deep hatred of the stupid brute that ruined his plans so far.

Yomogi herself then spoke up looking mad herself, "Kyo, how could you have done all of this? I thought we were trying to stop the waves and help everyone! Not turn them into abominations!" she yelled at Kyo hoping he would understand what suffering he allowed.

But Kyo just turned smug again, "Ah yes, you just saw those failed experiments do battle near Sickle's hourglass yesterday. I guess that was my fault for expecting much from a bunch of lousy whores." he says to Yomogi showing no signs of remorse which made Yomogi angrier than before.

"You really are evil Kyo, you need to atone for your sins and have this world be free of your evil!" Yomogi yells to Kyo, despite knowing she doesn't have the power to do so, she still imagines herself being the one to stab Kyo in the chest over and over.

Before anything else could happen Kizuna spoke up herself, "Kyo is it, I know my comrades here might not agree, but if you truly want to stop the waves like us, we might be able to make a deal and stop the fighting so we can focus on stopping the waves together." Kizuna negotiates with him, the other heroes were silent or in the case of Bakugou rolling his eyes already knowing what this will amount to.

Kyo then just laughed, "Hahahahaha, you really are the idealist one are you?! You're so stupid! I never had any intention of stopping the waves."

"What!? Why? Why would you want to continue them?" Kizuna expressed not understanding how someone would be ok with this.

"Since your to dumb to figure it out, the waves are a convenient way for people to travel into different worlds without barely any effort. It allowed me to be able to travel to their world in the first place and to get whatever I could from them including a lot of free souls. Not to mention a damaged world will be a lot easier to conquer than one that didn't face an invasion."

Kizuna couldn't believe what she was hearing, "But.. But what about all of those people!"

"And your point is? They are just expendable fodder. Just like NPCs in a video game, it's so entertaining to see the funny ways they die though. Hahahahaha!" Kyo continues mocking Kizuna, who now gripped her hand in rage now realizing what kind of person Kyo really is.

"You.. you're horrible! You are a monster!" Kizuna shouted,

"Oh, what took you so long to figure that out idiot! Even the blue elf and weasel girl weren't as naive as you." Kyo continues mocking the hunting hero. Kizuna always wanted to see the good side of people and give them a chance to hear their side, but here she now knew what kind of a person Kyo truly was.

"You want to continue 'negotiating" with him Pigtails or can I just kick his ass already?" Bakugou asked of Kizuna even when he already knew the hunter hero had it with Kyo in less than a minute of talking with him.

"No, I think you're right in this instance, kick his ass." she casually requests, while she wished to know more about the waves and stop them, she knew she wasn't going to get anything out of Kyo.

"With pleasure!" Bakugou says and without hesitation, he blasts himself toward Kyo to blast that smug face off.

But his blasts only hit a magic barrier as Kyo then magically teleports further down the hallway, "Still the brunt brute as usual shithead. Just remember you're in my world now, I'm stronger than ever in my own home turf." he mocks Bakugou which made the shield hero growl in annoyance.

Larc then points his weapon toward Kyo, "Hey don't forget we're here on our home turf as well and it's 9 against 1. As much as I prefer fair fights I'm going to make an exception with you." he taunts his enemy.

Kyo then laughed, "Ha, who said I was alone here?" he then snapped his fingers, and from the shadows emerged a new figure. A figure who looked like he was barely able to stand up as it limps toward the heroes while carrying something in its hand.

And to everyone's surprise, it looked to be Kyo's partner Kazuki, alive once again with even a nose once more. However on a closer look, this thing that resembled Kazuki looked deformed and acted like a zombie, which he pretty much was as he made it up to Kyo's side.

"This is your stupid help? Just bringing shithead back to life." Bakugou mocks Kyo again, even from a distance he can tell this weird zombie Kazuki looked frail and sluggish.

Yomogi then spoke up, "No, it's not really Kazuki. It's a clone of his body, but he has the soul of another inside, a homunculus." she explained.

"Whose soul is it then?" Rino asked.

The zombie then lifted its arm up to show what the thing he was holding. It was a small glass mirror, but it was no ordinary mirror, it was one of great power.

Glass instantly recognized it, "By the heavens, it's the vassal mirror weapon!" she pointed out, which now surprised everyone there.

Larc then spoke up when he recognized the mirror as well, "I haven't heard from that guy in ages, guess we now know what happened and whose soul is in there."

"Well good job ruining the surprise with spoilers idiots. But whatever, I have other matters to take care of, so have fun with him shitheads." Kyo mocks as he just casually walks away.

"Hey don't turn your back on me coward!" Bakugou yells and attempts to attack him out of spite even if he knows the barrier would stop him.

But before he could get to Kyo, the zombie Kazuki was surprisingly fast and not only blocked the shield hero's attack but made it reflect back and hit the ceiling, forcing Bakugou to jump back to avoid the explosion and ceiling debris that also gets reflected away from the zombie mirror wielder.

Kyo laughed at that, "Ha, it'll take more than that idiot to bypass the mirror. Oh and to make this more fair." Kyo then opened his his book, and after conjuring a quick spell, suddenly all the bodies in the tubes in the room began to reanimate and quickly bash their way out.

The heroes were now surrounded by more of Kyo's abominations, more disturbing than the Chimera's, "Once more, have fun shitheads. Hahaha!" Kyo continued as he used his levitation magic to quickly leave the room out of sight.

Before they had time to think, a bunch of the abominations ran toward the heroes to attack.

Despite them having the power to tear the average soldier apart, these things were a lot weaker than they looked to the heroes as they quickly kill off a bunch of them.

But despite the ease of killing them, more continued to appear from other rooms, and as they fight Kyo gets further away from them with the zombie Kazuki still blocking the way toward him.

"We don't have time for this bullshit!" Bakugou yelled as he blew up two abomination heads with both hands and quickly blocked another's attack as Neia sliced its head off.

Glass fires an energy beam attack at the zombie Kazuki and like before it just reflects the attack away in another direction, "I don't think brute forcing our way through him is going to help, this kind of enemy takes time to properly outmaneuver and destroy when its guard is down." she rationalized.

Bakugou knew this was nothing more than a distraction with the zombie Kazuki not being aggressive at all, just remaining like a brick wall enemy that blocks progression with its movements insync with the "players" while also firing reflective light blasts of its own.

Course Bakugou knew he had a way to bypass it as he turned to his magic user as she stabbed an abomination with her staff-spear, "Rino, you still working on you know what?" he asked her on a secret spell the she had.

"It's still in progress, hopefully it won't be much longer before it is completed sir." she responds as she uses her earth magic to make pillars appear under some enemies right below them as they rapidly sprout up and squash them on the ceiling like bugs.

Bakugou nods back, "Sounds good, you, the green haired bitch, Kirishima, and Daven will stay here and fight this stupid zombie and stop other enemies from following us, then go and find that resurrection lab and destroy it while we keep that bastard from making a run for it." he ordered knowing that those had to be the biggest priorities with Rino nodding in agreement.

He then looked at his rogue as Daven who finished gutting an enemy with his sai's, "Daven teleport the rest of us behind the freak and teleport back to help Rino and Kirishima." he also orders with Daven nodding.

With a quick opening, the heroes and sidekicks that were getting teleported which includes Bakugou, Neia, Rifana, and Kizuna's group gathered around Daven to teleport together. But right before they do Bakugou yells, "Kirishima! Fire at the mirror!" he orders his dragon after he finished chewing an abomination in half, and immediately breathes a stream of fire at the zombie Kazuki who blocks and reflects the huge amount of flames.

But with the zombie distracted Daven teleports the heroes far down the hallway bypassing the zombie Kazuki as it continues reflecting the flames that Kirishima cleverly angled it so the flames would also burn a bunch of reinforcing abominations.

Daven then teleports back with Kirishima and Rino, as they continue the fight with the zombie mirror wielder and the other abominations along with Yomogi with her sword as she helps fight back with the sidekicks.

The rest of the heroes run down the hallway to find Kyo before they are too late to stop him.

The heroes continued running with their only sense of direction being Kyo's laughter with an occasional mutant attack that was quickly dealt with.

Finally they made it to what looked to be the end of the long hallway to a large closed door, and without hesitation Bakugou blasts ahead and once at the door-

*BOOM*

he blows the door apart with him and the other heroes storming into the room. This room was what looked to be a large wide open throne room, with a large glass tube like the others before on the ceiling at the end of the room, but this one was completely empty, and underneath it was a large throne chair, with Kyo casually sitting on it still looking smug as usual.

Kyo then stood up from it to look at the determined heroes, "Well it's about damn time, I was just waiting for you. Oh and by the way that door opens automatically by itself if you just normally walk to it, but it seems as usual all you are good for is to break things." He says smugly to Bakugou with the book wielder also now looking annoyed, "You have no idea how much I hate you Katsuki Bakugou, even the meathead Larc had been nothing but an inconvenience to me, but you and your harem of whores have done nothing but to boil every atom in my body with rage. Do you see that tube above me? This was supposed to have held the Tortoise power and the souls it would've collected. But then you fucked that up and now it's just an empty paperweight I have attached to the ceiling. I guess there is supposed to be another guardian beast that will come up not long after the stupid turtle died, perhaps I'll use its power in its place and collect the souls it kills."

Everyone continues to look at Kyo with great distaste wanting to just end him for good especially Bakugou, "You done whining yet so I can cave in your skull already?" he mocks while cracking his knuckles.

Kyo then spoke, "Well I'm still surprised you allied with the same people that tried to kill you, you didn't really respond to that when I brought it up before. They are just about as evil as me, but at least I want to make use of the souls that I killed."

Larc then points his weapon out, "Me and him are in a sort of non-aggression pact, and we're together here to kill you." he says.

Kyo just sighs as he opens his book, "Whatever, at least now I'll soon have so many powerful weapons on my arsenal once all of you are dead. Universal domination will be on my way then!" he says and then casts a spell that conjures up many magic paper monster constructs in the room. He then points his finger at the heroes, "Kill them all!' he shouts with the monster constructs running toward them.

"Kiddo we'll handle them, you deal with that bastard!" Larc ordered as he, Glass, and Kizuna attacked the constructs.

Bakugou with Neia and Rifana go after Kyo directly. Some of the constructs go after them but are easily dispatched by the 3.

Kyo levitates himself from the ground a few feet up and fires multiple spells from fire and lightning at the 3, but the shield hero blocks all of them and blasts himself at Kyo firing multiple explosions on his barrier.

Rifana fires her arrows at the barrier that was using the same type of gravity based magic from before in the spirit tortoise which allowed openings to be made in the barriers.

Neia also repeatedly attacks the barrier with her Katanas while also protecting Bakugou and Rifana from any constructs that Kizuna's group missed or Kyo makes more of.

It was an intense battle with the 3 putting as much pressure on Kyo as possible as it seemed he was on the defensive most of the time trying to keep his barrier enforced and fix the holes Rifana made, while making more magic constructs and firing more powerful spells on Bakugou and crew. But despite how powerful Kyo was it seemed like he was being overwhelmed by even just these 3, especially with how aggressively Bakugou was blasting at Kyo,. He also knew it would only be a matter of time before he run out of constructs and the hunter hero's team will also engage him.

Kyo then slipped up and was caught off guard by a hole in his barrier near his chest while he fired a beam attack on Neia as she held it back from her dual katanas.

Bakugou of course took that opening and blasted at the levitating Kyo and blasted him again and again and again with one more strong explosion being powerful enough to blast Kyo into a wall.

Kyo was hurt, but not too badly injured thanks to his own regeneration healing powers and his high HP, though he is still sore from those attacks.

Bakugou wastes no time as he launches himself in the air and then blasts himself toward Kyo ready for another series of explosion attacks, "You picked the wrong world to mess with Bookworm! Now time to feel the pain of the number 1 hero!" Bakugou taunts to Kyo ready to blast his face.

Kyo however then smugly smiles despite the pain and says, "Oh really, number 1 hero? Last I recall you didn't even earn your hero provisional license yet?"

"Huh!?" Bakugou expressed after hearing that, immediately confusing the hero.

Kyo quickly took that opportunity though and teleported out of the way in time and reappeared right below a distracted Bakugou and fired a beam spell below him, launching the shield hero in the air until he smashed into the ceiling.

"Sir Bakugou!" Rifana and Neia both yelled hoping their leader was alright as he fell back down quickly and hit the floor hard.

Bakugou quickly got himself back up, still struggling from the pain he just felt as Kyo looked down at Bakugou again with his smug smile wider than before, "I'm correct, am I not? You failed to get your provisional license in the hero licensing exam along with Mr. Daddy issues Icyhot? Technically what you have been doing now would be illegal as a vigilante. In the eyes of the law, you would actually be considered a villain like the rest you consider to be scum?" Kyo continued mocking the shield hero.

Bakugou was just confused by all of this, "What?! How in the hell did you-"

Kyo then interrupted him as he formed a crystal ball in his hand, "When I got back here with a new head, I've decided to do my research to learn about the man I hate the most out of everything else. I've looked through most of your whole life, and I have to say it was surprisingly interesting." he then made the crystal ball show off a projection for Bakugou to see, and the moving images on the screen were of him as a little kid in kindergarten, where he showed off his quirk to the other kids with them praising of how cool he was.

Kyo then instantly changed the image to over 10 years later, to the point where Bakugou and his U.A. classmates were looking at the board of those who passed the provisional hero license exam. With past Bakugou looking absolutely broken to not see his name up there, "Ha! The look on your face back then tells everything. And to think everyone else in that class of yours passed the exam including that so-called weakling Deku, even the midget kid whose superpower is having purple balls on his head managed to pass, unlike your failure ass. Hahahaha!" Kyo continues mocking Bakugou.

Bakugou's confusion quickly turned to anger as Kyo brought up his past to him as Bakugou clutched his fists with smoke also coming out of them, "Shut up!" Bakugou yelled and without hesitation immediately blasts himself in the air to blow Kyo's face off as the book wielder continued to dodge and levitate away from the now pissed off Shield hero with Neia and Rifana trying to catch up to aid him.

Kyo continued to have his crystal ball projection be shown as the images changed, this time it showed off an event before Bakugou was in U.A. the time he was enveloped by the sludge villain, "Oh this looked fun, you getting your own body taken over by some low life thug. You were completely helpless here with your explosions just fucking up the street you were on. It had to take All Might to save you, and he only bothered with your pathetic ass when that weakling Deku kid tried to help you out. The crybaby didn't even have a quirk yet and was acting more of a competent hero than your loser ass ever was. Hahaha!"

"I said shut up you bastard!" Bakugou yelled again getting more and more angry at Kyo striking multiple nerves on Bakugou with him being reminded directly of his failures at home.

Rifana and Neia continued to try following Bakugou, but he was going so fast and aggressive now it was impossible to catch up. The two also knew something was wrong with Bakugou, they could feel he was getting madder than usual as Kyo continued mocking him as he changed the projection again.

This time it showed one of Bakugou's first hero exams with his classmates that had the fake nuclear bomb scenario, showing the end of his quick fight with Izuku where he managed to deflect his blast allowing Ochaco to touch the nuke and win the match while Izuku remained standing strong despite his broken arm, "Remember this as well? The exam where you lost to that crybaby Deku directly? Being bested by someone who breaks his bones from a single super powered punch!"

He then changed the images again, showing Todoroki's casual win of the exam by freezing the whole building, "This was also when you realized that you were no longer the top dog. That there is a whole school of various people who are better than you in every way." he then changed it to the images to show the Quirk Apprehension test results, "You didn't even make it to number two, Icyhot and the spoiled rich girl did better than you both there and in the midterm test where you got your dead ass carried away by Deku!"

"I told you to shut up!" Bakugou yelled again getting more and more irritated by the constant mocking and reminders getting more and more pissed off by every second the crystal ball showed off.

Rifana and Neia were now growing more and more concerned, with the Elf warrior trying to calm him down, "Please Sir Bakugou, don't listen to him! He's only trying to make you not focus!" she yelled, but Bakugou was just ignoring her, she and Rifana knew he was losing control of his temper with Kyo making it worse and worse as the fight went on.

Even with Rifana from a distance helping to make holes in Kyo's barrier, Bakugou is unable to get to him as Kyo changes the projection once more.

Now showing the sports festival with Todoroki's and Izuku's battle that ended in a big bang, "Quite the impressive fight wasn't it Bakugou? The child of the number 2 hero going up against that crybaby that you saw was beneath you. He was willing to use his full power to beat little Deku despite his hatred of his father's powers." the images then changed to Bakugou's and Todoroki's fight where Shoto only used his ice powers and in that instant refused to use his father's quirk which allowed Bakugou to beat him when Shoto was in a far weaker state than when he fought Izuku, robbing Bakugou of his true win, "But when he fought you, he didn't even bother going all out, he saw you as someone lesser then Deku, to not use his full power to beat your ass. He saw that crybaby as more worthy to fight than you scrawny ass."

Kyo then showed the end of the sports festival tournament where All Might was handing out metals while Bakugou was chained up, "Man how utterly pathetic was all of that? Winning a hollow victory while you just made an ass out of yourself."

"FUCK YOU!" Bakugou screamed now growing a deep blood rage, as he was being shown more and more of what a loser he truly was as Kyo insults him for it.

Now Bakugou was developing a greater rage inside himself with his eyes starting to glow red along with his shield green gem also now glowing red as the wrath curse series started to consume him once more.

Neia and Rifana immediately noticed and knew they had to stop that evil shield from controlling him again, Rifana shouted, "Sir Bakugou please don't let your anger take over! Your only-"

"Shut your damn mouth you weasel bitch!" Bakugou shouted to the poor weasel archer with her and Neia seeing the effects of the wrath shield already influencing the shield hero, as Kyo continued adding more and more fuel to that fire.

Neia and Rifana knew they are not getting through to Bakugou and were struggling to catch up with him and Kyo. They had to turn and run back to help Kizuna and her party with the magic enemy constructs, knowing only with their help would they be able to help their leader.

But in the meantime, Kyo kept on mocking Bakugou while dodging every blast as they got more and more destructive and hotter. This time the projections showed off Bakugou during his internship, where former number 4 hero Best Jeanist had combed away all of the spikes on his hair, "Oh man you look so stupid here. To think you wasted your time with that guy where kids just made fun of you, while your pal Deku managed to master his quirk and helped defeat a serial hero killer. Hahahahahaha!"

"I SAID SHUT UP!" Bakugou screamed as more and more rage consumed his body, with a miasma of hate growing around himself getting hotter and hotter with his anger getting to his soul.

Back with the sidekicks, with their help they and Kizuna's team had killed the last of the constructs. Kizuna immediately saw something was up with the two, "We appreciate the assistance, but aren't you supposed to be helping out Bakugou?" she asked with Glass and Larc wondering the same.

"Sir Bakugou is losing control of himself, a shield of his is going to control his mind if we don't stop Kyo in time, please help us." Neia explains to them with Rifana nodding in agreement.

The 3 might not know what was going on, but knew they had to do something, "Then let's not wait and help!" Larc yelled and he and the rest ran with the sidekicks to help them before it was too late.

Bakugou continued all he could to just blast open Kyo's head as he mocked Bakugou over and over again. And when it seemed he had Kyo cornered, the book wielder opened his vassal weapon up and blasted a powerful beam at Bakugou who barely blocked it on time, but still sent the hero smashing into the ceiling again.

This this time Bakugou was not nearly knocked out and was just pissed off to no end, "FUCKING WEAK SHIELD!" he yelled at his weapon with his increasingly corrupting wrath filled mind thinking that the strongest normal shield wasn't enough to hold back the beam.

He now thought that he needs to be even stronger to beat that bastard with an even stronger shield. He now willingly transforms the regular shield into the Wrath shield as its curse continues consuming Bakugou.

Kyo though didn't look frightened as he continued smugly smiling as he changed the projection again. Now showing the infamous night when the League of Villains attacked the Summer training camp. Where the attack was at its end with Bakugou just being released from ball form of Mr. Compress's quirk, but then was immediately taken away into the mass of dark smoke, with the villain Dabi gripping his throat as they disappear within the smoke before his classmates could save him.

"Oh this is one of my favorites, you got yourself captured by that gang of villains despite the valiant fight you went through that whole night." Kyo then changed the images to show Bakugou in the Villain's secret hideout bar as they tempt him to join their side, "And your personality is so shitty these villains thought that you fit right in with them and offered an invitation. Hard to disagree with them I say."

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!" Bakugou screams at him again rapidly firing as much as he can to see a sea of blood as red as his eyes now, glowing completely red with his rage.

Down below the sidekicks and heroes try all they can to catch up to Bakugou, but with how rapid this battle has been of the two umping all over the place it is next to impossible to get to either the villain or the rapidly corrupting hero.

"Sir Bakugou! Please stop yourself now!" Neia shouts hoping she can get ahold of Bakugou before the wrath shield completely takes hold once more.

Kizuna reacted with her weapon turning into a fishing pole as she threw it at Bakugou's arm to either get him to stop or take that evil shield off of him.

But without any reaction from Bakugou his arm casually rips off the magic fishing string like nothing, "Oh no!" Kizuna reacted with even her power not being able to stop the mad hero's momentum.

And up above Kyo changes the projection once more, "Now let me show you my favorite scene of them all." he says, and this time the image was of the battle between All Might and All for One not too long after he was rescued by Izuku, Kirishima, Momo, Shoto, and lida, "This battle going on with the so called Emperor of Evil and the Pillar of Justice and Hope himself, all of that happened because of your capture. With all the heroes coming together to save your sorry little ass including that weakling Deku. Because of that, All Might had to fight All for One there. And you remember what happened at the end of that fight right?"

"Shut up!" Bakugou yells again now on the edge of losing the last of his willpower to keep the wrath shield at bay.

Kyo then lands and sticks himself on the high ceiling as the projection shows the end of the battle of All Might now in his now permanent weakened form while All for One lay defeated on the ground, "Yep that's right. All Might gave up the last embers of his quirk to stop the so-called Demon Lord wannabe. Now the Pillar of peace no more, and it's all your fault."

"Shut UP!" Bakugou yells again and Kyo dodges once more as he falls down safely on the floor below.

"So what is it like Bakugou? What is it like to be the one to have ended the Pillar of Peace?"

"SHUT UP!" Bakugou blasts himself and attempts to blow him up below with Kyo just teleporting away a few feet from the explosion.

Kyo then said, "What is it like to be the one to have killed All Might?!"

"SHUTTTTTTT UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!" Bakugou screams at the top of his lungs in a burning fiery rage as an intense pulse of wrath energy expands throughout the damaged throne room, forcing the other heroes to look away for a second.

But once they turned back, to their horror Bakugou had now been completely corrupted by the wrath shield once more. Dawning the thick spiky black armor with his eyes of pure dark glowing red, along with the also glowing red marks appearing around his body, and the wrath shield itself was now getting thicker and bigger than before.

*Wrath shield level 3 unlocked* Bakugou's menu stated as the now corrupted hero looks at the thing he hates more than anything else in this world, Kyo, "Sir Bakugou, no." Neia said softly with her and the others just as horrified to see what they were witnessing now.

"Is this... is this the corrupted wrath form you guys were talking about?" Rifana asked with this being the first time she had seen Bakugou in this state, she saw him use the wrath shield in the spirit tortoise, but this form was new to her and she nor anyone else there liked it as Neia nodded back to her.

"Oh man, this is not good at all." Larc said out loud. he heard about such dangerous power before with their own world's cardinal weapons, and now he, Glass, and Kizuna are forced to witness this power with their own eyes.

Kyo on the other hand though looked intrigued by this phenomenon, "hmmm, interesting. So this is what the wrath form looks like in person. Not bad, and to think I didn't even get to the parts of your failures in the world you got summoned to, like with Siltvelt when you got your ass froze-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Bakugou screeches, now with his voice altered like before with his demonic voice, "I'm going to rip your limbs off and shove them down your throat until they are on the other side!" he yells then jumps and attacks again as Kyo resumes dodging like before, but now Bakugou was a lot faster than with the intense determination of killing the bastard in front of him greater then ever, despite said bastard still smiling.

The other heroes and sidekicks could only stand by and watch. Kizuna turns to Neia, "You think you guys can snap him out of this once he is done?" she asked with her friends wondering the same.

Neia looked on nervously, "I don't know, I'll try to think of something. But despite all of that rage, the real Sir Bakugou is still inside, he needs to will his way out of that curse."

Larc nods back, "Well at least that rage is going toward that evil bastard. The fat head made a major mistake." he expressed knowing he'll like the image of this Bakugou ripping Kyo's head off.

"Is it a mistake though Larc." Glass comments out loud.

"What do you mean Glassy?" Larc asked.

"Kyo doesn't remotely look that surprised by the whole thing. He might be planning something that I'm not sure of yet. If he has been doing his research on the shield hero's life, Kyo may be also aware of the other times Bakugou used this evil power. But why activate it though?" Glass continued to ponder, with the others wondering as well with Kyo's actions not making any sense if he was aware of the wrath shield.

But while they think about this, Bakugou continued blasting and blasting over and over at Kyo's barrier showing no sign of slowing down. It seemed like Kyo was at his limit as he moved to get out of his attacker's way until Bakugou eventually smashed through the energy barrier through pure force, and finally blasted Kyo in the stomach. Launching the book wielder across the huge throne room until he smashed into a wall, this time leaving a noticeable crack mark on it.

But despite the pain and how hard the impact was, Kyo still smugly smiled as he readjusted his glasses, "Quite the punch there shithead, almost makes up for how much of a shit hero you really are."

"DIE YOU BASTARD!" Bakugou screams as he blasts himself toward Kyo intending to smash his head in.

But as he got closer, Kyo smirked again, "Right where I want you."

Neia then noticed what was on the floor, "Sir Bakugou no!"

But it was too late, as right before Bakugou got near Kyo, a magic symbol appeared right below the corrupted shield hero.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Bakugou screamed as the magic symbol was now enveloping his body with electricity stopping him in place.

Kyo laughed again, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Just as I planned it to go!"

The symbol continued to shock Bakugou for a few more seconds until it finally disappeared with the shield hero lying flat on the floor.

"Bakugou are you ok?!" Kizuna shouted as she and the others ran up closer to the downed shield hero.

However he wasn't down for long, the shield hero got himself back up as he rubs his head in a headache while still in his corrupt wrath form now just looking confused.

"Kiddo are you ok?" Larc asked himself.

Bakugou's immediately turns to Larc and now looked completely pissed off again, "YOU!" he shouted surprising the heroes, "You evil genocidal bastard! You dare come to kill me again!?" Bakugou shouts now slowly approaching the heroes.

Larc and his friends were now confused, "Huh, Kiddo what are you-"

But with barely a second to react Larc barely dodge a beam attack from Bakugou's gauntlet.

"I TOLD YOU TO STOP CALLING ME KIDDO!" Bakugou screamed, now with all of this wrath on Larc and Glass, who both looked horrified to now being threatened by this living incarnation of wrath before them.

Kizuna, Rifana, and Neia were forced to watch on the sidelines, with them also noticing Kyo just smugly smiling as usual, "What did you do to him!?" Neia yelled at Kyo knowing he had something to do with this.

Kyo started laughing, "Hahahaha, glad you asked. It's not a complete mind control spell, but in the state he is in now I was able to use a mind manipulation spell to adjust his memories a bit. I made it so he would completely forget about me and can't also ever get mad at me for anything else. And of course, all of that anger has to go somewhere, and conveniently Meathead Larc and Glass are here as well. Looks like you two coming to his world and attempting to kill him before has bitten you in the ass! Talk about karma, Hahahahahahaha!"

Kizuna tried to reason with him, "Bakugou remember you made peace with Larc and Glass! You made a non-aggression pact with him! Kyo is the enemy here, he's trying to-"

"Shut it bitch! You stay out of my way or you be joining these two murderers in hell!" Corrupt Bakugou yelled at her, with his mind too far gone to remember anything along with being manipulated by the spell, his only focused is on the two people he now hated the most in the room.

Kyo then said, "Another good thing about this spell is that it was a 2 for 1 deal."

That part confused Neia and Rifana, "What do you mean 2 for 1?" the archer asked with Kyo just smiling widely.

Back deep within the base, Daven, Yomogi, Kirishima, and Rino continued to fight off both the zombie Kazuki and the various abominations coming in. Thankfully it seems the lab had just run out of the latter as no more came in while the heroes took care of the rest.

All they had to deal with now was the Zombie Katsuki and they were set to find out about Kyo's resurrection lab, Rino to finish her spell, and then to aid their leader.

However, the situation changed as Kirishima began to act up, he stopped killing and was now shutting his eyes and shaking his head as his mind was suffering from a massive headache.

"Kiri are you alright?" Rino asked, quickly seeing the Dragon in distress with Daven and Yomogi witnessing the same.

However the shaking of his head stops as Kirishima opens his eyes once more, now both glowing in dark red.

Before anyone could process that, Kirishima's body was engulfed in the fire which quickly expanded into a huge fireball like he could do before. The flames then disappeared and Kirishima was now in his huge adult form once more. The sidekicks would've usually been happy to see this, but the opposite was felt as Kirishima's eyes still continued glowing red, "RRRRRAAAAAAAOOOOOOORRRRRRR!" Kirishima roars with him feeling the same rage as his father is feeling right now.

"What's wrong with him?" Yomogi asked, not sure if this was good or bad.

"Crap! Bakugou must've been corrupted by the wrath shield again!" Rino answered with her and Daven knowing exactly what this was.

However what they don't know is that the dragon is also being controlled by Kyo, with Kirishima's mind being altered to now see his siblings as enemies of his father, whom he needs to kill as his stomach and throat begin to fill up with his fire.

"And it seems Kirishima is corrupted the same!" Daven shouts as he grabs both Yomogi and Rino and teleports away with them, just in time as Kirishima breathes a huge amount of fire across the building.

The three teleported into another room, but this didn't fool the dragon. With his sense of smell he knew where they were and went to bash through walls as he attempted to eat his supposed enemies, with the 3 either teleporting or jumping all over the place to avoid being eaten or burnt to death. All the while also dealing with zombie Kazuki at the same time who continued to fire reflective energy attacks at them.

Rino then yelled, "I hope Neia and Rifana can get Sir Bakugou to snap out of it quick or Kiri might outright collapse the building!" and with that, the 3 heroes continued to struggle to avoid the massive wrath fueled dragon and his flames.

Back in the throne room everyone could hear the dragon's roar from there and knew what was going on, "Kirishima!" Neia expressed now worried for all of her friends down there. Neia angrily turns to Kyo, "What have you done to him?!" she demanded

"Oh, it was very simple. The dragon may be immune to most slave and servant magic, but he seems to be directly affected by the state his stupid daddy is in with the dragon emperor core connection. So like I said a 2 for 1 deal." he then laughed, "Hahahahaha! Oh this will be perfect! Once I deal with his harem and kill off Meatheads little team I will have my 2 new attack dogs I can do whatever I want them to do, even conquering and destroying entire worlds! And with his soul eater shield, I'll be able to collect as many souls as I need! Hahahahahaha!" he laughed then turned to Bakugou, "Alright enough of me monologuing. Katsuki kill those 2 already and you'll feel better." he says pointing to Larc and Glass, and without hesitation wrath corrupt Bakugou walks his way toward Larc and crew.

Kizuna attempts to talk him out of it, "Bakugou! Please don't listen to him Kyo is the enemy here not us! He's trying to manipulate you to divide us-"

"I told you to shut up Pigtails! If you want to live I suggest you stay out of this and mind your own business!" Bakugou yelled forcing the young hero into silence as she was now fearing for the worse as Glass gripped her shoulder.

Bakugou then approaches Larc who tried to talk him out of it, "Hey kiddo remember that we worked out a non-aggression pact, we're done fighting with and are here to work togeth-"

*BOOM!*

But Larc was cut off when Bakugou lunge himself and blasted right where Larc was just at, the scythe hero barely dodged the attack, "I told you to STOP CALLING ME KIDDO!" Bakugou screamed and immediately went for a rapid fire explosion attack on Larc as he finally fought back using his scythe to block or push away Bakugou's explosions, but Bakugou was fast and was not slowing down anytime soon as he pressed on the attack.

Glass knew she had to intervene as she closed her fans and ready a beam attack, having no choice but to fight her own allies, "Tortoise shell cracker!"

"Glass no!" Neia shouted knowing what that would do.

But it was too late and she fired her attack on the shield hero's side. But as the beam hit, it did no damage as Bakugou absorbed the magical attack into his body. It also gets his attention on Glass.

"What!? He just absorbed it!?" Glass gasped.

Kyo laughed, "Hahahahaha! Yep all direct magical attacks just get absorbed, so you better watch out." he mocked them.

And through that energy Katsuki had just absorbed, he sticks his arms out toward Glass with his palms glowing with energy.

Glass knew what was about to happen and grabbed Kizuna and jumped just in time as Bakugou fired a massive AP shot laser attack. He followed her all across the room with the laser attack trying all he could to vaporize the spirit woman not caring that Kizuna was with her.

Neia and Rifana couldn't believe what they were watching and finally turned back angrily at Kyo, "Quiet the spectacle isn't it. I may need a new base after this, but it was fully worth seeing your dumb faces being smeared across the walls." he mocked them.

"Rifana!" Neia shouted

"On it!" Rifana shouted back as she fired an energy arrow with Neia immediately firing an attack right behind the arrow.

The arrow pierces through Kyo's barrier and the beam of electricity directly hits Kyo within, "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh that tickles!" Kyo reacted with the two sidekicks looking confused, "I thought you learned from that whore of Kazuki's yesterday with the electricity immunity buffs. Did you think I wouldn't apply the same? I even gave myself some water resistance buffs as well after learning what you did there yesterday as well, so you are going to need more than that to defeat me while your master is a rabid dog right now! Hahahahahaha!' he mocks them, but despite what he said neither Neia nor Rifana were going to stop. They figured stopping Kyo would help snap Bakugou out of his control as the two run and fight against the book hero.

Rifana fired another arrow that broke his barrier with Neia going for the kill at his heart and head with both blades.

Only for Kyo to stop them both, one with his armored arm and the other with a magic energy sword he conjured up, "You really think you have the strength to beat me? Well then why don't we have our fun?" he mocked her, as he pushed back both blades as the two clashed with each other while Rifana fires her arrows to either to break the barriers when they regrow or in any attempt to stun or knock out Kyo.

As that battle went on, Glass with Kizuna still in her grip struggled to dodge the intense beam attack, it had weakened a bit with the surplus energy gone, but it was still a deadly beam as he continued his attempt to kill them.

"AAAHH!" But from behind Bakugou gets a scythe blade stabbed right through his shoulder finally ending the beams. It was Larc after he caught his breath from before, he was now willing to harm corrupt Bakugou to save his friends, "Don't forget Bakugou! My scythe can pierce right through your defense, I'm your antithesis you can say!" Larc mocks Bakugou to get his attention away from Glass and Kizuna.

This works too well as Bakugou then blasts Larc in the chest sending him nearly flying until the scythe hero lands on the floor a bit away.

"Don't think I'm all defense you inbred idiot! This animal also has teeth on it!" he yelled and with his healing magic Bakugou mended up the stab from Larc, looking like the attack never happened as his black corruption armor repaired itself with him.

Larc wished he didn't have to go all out on a man he just made peace with, but now it seemed like he had to in an act of survival for not just himself but for his friends as well, both old and new.

Bakugou attacks once more blasting himself all around, as Larc continues to use his scythe to block them all.

While that happened, Glass and Kizuna finally land back on the ground with Glass putting Kizuna down, "Kizuna, I need you to either help Neia and Rifana with Kyo or with the others with the dragon. I'll help Larc with Bakugou." she tells the hunter hero who looked worried.

"Glass you and Larc can't possibly hold off Bakugou on your own! I can help!" Kizuna yells back knowing her friends are in great danger on their own.

"Kizuna no, this is our battle and we'll handle it as much as we can." Glass responds.

"No Glass I'm not going to-" But then Kizuna was interrupted when Glass placed her finger on Kizuna's mouth.

Then she said, "No Kizuna, this resulted from our own actions. We gave him a reason to throw his anger on us that Kyo exploited. It is our sins coming back to bite us from what we tried to do before, we can only make sure no one else suffers because of them. He has no ill will on you so it's best to not get involved and while can still help stop Kyo. Do you understand?"

Kizuna didn't like this, but at the same time she could tell from her eyes how much Glass meant this, with how things were going she couldn't wait for long as Larc fought Bakugou himself. The hunter hero sighs not liking this but agrees, "Alright but be careful over there Glass." she responds with Glass nodding in approval with a smile and quickly hugs Kizuna as an act of deep friendship with the two turning and running in opposite directions, but in the back on Kizuna's head she still worried of her friends if they can survive this fight, even as she goes to help Daven, Yomogi, and Rino deal with the dragon.

But then Kyo with his book creates a magic barrier on the blasted door, preventing the hunter hero from leaving, "Sorry but I rather not have you mess around with my new pet, I think you killing one dragon was enough." Kyo mocks her showing his control of the situation even as Rifana and Neia battle him.

With the only way blocked off Kizuna had no choice but to help Neia and Rifana fight Kyo as they still struggle with the sorcerer.

Meanwhile Glass jumps in Larc's fight and attempts to blindside Bakugou, but the corrupted hero manages to catch his attacker this time and block her attack in the air from her fans.

Larc and Glass fight together, trying all they can to stop Bakugou, but it seemed like corrupted Bakugou is nearly unstoppable as any attack he is inflected with that he didn't block away would almost instantly heal up, and his attacks being massive with his quirk not running out of steam anytime soon.

Kizuna helps out Rifana and Neia, but even her presence wasn't making it easier to battle Kyo who seems to just be toying with them, "For whores of the shield hero, you seem to be pretty weak all things considered. Is that why you were hated by your own family even before you got exiled? I should look into your backstory and show it to everyone as well! Hahahahahaha!" he mocks Neia as she tries to keep her temper controlled and not lose focus, but even she can tell the three of them were not enough.

It was also hard to not notice how the other battle was going, with Glass and Larc both struggling to fight off Bakugou as it was starting to look more and more one-sided by the second with the two vassal heroes unable to stop a mighty glacier like Bakugou is now.

Larc attempts to stab Bakugou in the leg to cripple his ability to move around, only for Bakugou to block that with not even his shield but his armored arm. And with his other hand blasts Larc in the stomach.

Glass attempts to go for his back legs for the same effect only to be bashed in the face with the shield throwing her across the floor near Larc.

"How about a little combo spell Glassy and maybe we can make the cranky guy go to sleep for a bit." Larc suggested as he got himself back up

"Larc you idiot he absorbs all magic attacks, remember? We'll just make him stronger that way." Glass pointed out as she got back up.

"Damn it! Such an overpowered ability! How do we stop him then?!" Larc yelled as it seemed like it was getting hopeless with how unstoppable wrath corrupted Bakugou is, as he casually cracked his neck and approached the two again.

Larc figured he had one ace left up his sleeve, he may not like the idea, but for all of them to survive and kill Kyo, he would have to possibly kill Bakugou now.

The scythe hero runs up to Bakugou and then jumps high in the air avoiding Bakugou's blasts with Glass also distracting him with her fan blade reverse four seasons wind attacks. Then he aims the tip of his scythe's blade with all of his power to strike his neck to hopefully bypass his armor and defense, and behead him in one swoop, and if not that to hopefully damage him enough to not risk more attacks again.

"Airstrike shield!" Bakugou called out, and one energy shield appeared right above his head blocking and stopping the attack, shocking Larc.

Bakugou then took the opportunity to fire at Larc's exposed body with double explosions sending the young king to hit the ceiling and when he fell down again Bakugou blasted Larc into a wall.

Larc struggles to even move despite the pain, but Bakugou shows no mercy this time as he blasts himself to Larc, and starts wailing on him over and over again blasting Larc in the body and face over and over.

Glass attempts to aid him intending to stab Bakugou in the neck with her fans now in their closed blade form.

"Soul eater shield!" Bakugou yelled with the shield transforming into its soul eater variety.

Before Glass could react and jump away Bakugou activates the shield, "AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Glass screams in pain as the shield absorbs a chunk of her soul energy, even more than it usually would thanks to the wrath shield.

Kizuna from afar was now looking scared as she witnessed all of that despite helping to fight Kyo. Even if she made a promise to Glass it was hard to just ignore her friends like this. It was eating at her, to the point it was unbearable. She tried to think of the greater good, but at this time she could only think about her friends, the same people she was with for all of these years, and had finally reconnected after years more being apart. She knew she had to do something even if it was reckless. She wasn't going to lose them again.

Back with the fight Bakugou stops the soul eater's shield and grabs the exhausted Glass by the neck and throws her near an injured Larc again who was doing his best to remain up despite all the pain, "We can't stop him. It's impossible." Glass said breathing heavily from exhaustion with Larc silent unable to even disagree with her.

Corrupt Bakugou extends his arms out with his quirk ready to double fire at the two, "You were never a match for me you murderers. You can never defeat the future number 1-Huh?!" But then suddenly both of his arms get wrapped up with some string substance that was stronger than it looked. The string came from Kizuna's weapon in its fishing pole form that let out two fishing lines more powerful than the fishing lines she used before even if it was eating at all of her mana. The hunter hero was now struggling to keep Bakugou from attacking.

"Kizuna?!" Glass shouted surprised, despite not wanting her friend involved she couldn't help but also be thankful Kizuna came to aid them.

"Don't stand there! Knock him out or something now! I don't know how long I can hold it!" Kizuna shouts holding the fishing pole as hard as possible as if this was the biggest catch of her life.

"You bitch! I'll kill you for this!" corrupt Bakugou yells as he tries to break out with his explosions being suppressed by the powerful magic string, but even this could only hold out for so long as well.

Without hesitation Glass and Larc ran and go at Bakugou as much as they could. Despite his defense and regeneration the two slashed at his body with their scythe and fans as much as possible, even at his head which unfortunately wasn't his weak spot so Larc's original attack wouldn't have worked anyway, "Mother fuckers! I'll rip your damn eyes out!" he yells not getting fatigued or dazed at all despite all the attacks.

And in his covered arms, the strings started to grow hotter and hotter from the many explosions going off within. Each one getting bigger and bigger until-

*BOOOM*

Bakugou finally blows his arms out of the masses of magic string with the explosion blowing Larc and Glass away into the walls.

Kizuna was horrified to see this, as she attempted to real in the rest of her string back and run.

Until Bakugou managed to grab one of the strings, shocking and also horrifying Kizuna more then ever.

Before she could think of dropping her weapon Bakugou aggressively pulled the string with all of his might dragging Kizuna with her. The girl was dragged flying across the room, until Bakugou manages to grab her by the throat, "I warned you bitch! Now you have to suffer the consequences of your actions!" corrupt Bakugou yells at her as he then raised Kizuna's body while gripping harder on her neck.

"Oh no Miss Kizuna!" Rifana shouted getting Neia's attention with Kyo just grinning hard now as he watched the show.

Bakugou continues choking Kizuna as he grips her neck harder than before, "You think you can just talk your way out of everything!? Thinking you can be nice to genocidal murderers!? Well here's what that naivety gets you!" he scolds her as he continued to squeeze harder as the hunter hero begins to lose consciousness with her unable to breathe.

"Please Bakugou... don't ... don't let him control you.." Kizuna could barely say to hopefully snap Bakugou out of it, but the shield hero continued to not listen maintaining his grip.

Glass and Larc were both severely injured from the last explosion attack, but they couldn't let their best friend be murdered like this. So they both got up and attacked at the same time to hopefully either stop Bakugou or free her in some way.

Bakugou though finally just throws Kizuna away as she bashes into a wall and then Bakugou fires two explosions at Larc and Glass, sending the two flying right into the same wall where Kizuna was at, with all three lying down severely hurt.

Bakugou then runs up to them, this time he grabs injured Larc by the throat and begins beating the living hell out of the scythe, punching him in the face with his metal fist over and over again, with each punch being so hard Larc's face was now dripping blood.

Glass struggled to get herself up, despite the pain she was feeling, "Soul eater shield!" Bakugou shouts and transforms the shield again while he is still beating Larc. Glass is now screaming in pain again as more and more of her soul energy is being drained, far more than it ever was before.

Rifana and Neia were horrified to watch from afar as the two vassal heroes were getting brutally beaten to pulps while Kizuna lay there near unconscious and unable to help her friends.

Kyo of course was just enjoying the whole thing, "Having a tough choice to make now you two? What will you do? Save the people who tried to kill you and destroy your world and risk getting your heads smashed to pieces, or ignore them and waste time trying to kill me when you know full well I'll just come back anyway? What do you want to do?" he mocks them knowing either way he will win and there was nothing they could do about it.

Neia looked the most conflicted, with how much anger Bakugou has in him now, she doubted she would be able to sweet talk him with the same speeches as before, so she had to think of something different to say this time and that it be something Bakugou would be able to believe it himself.

Rifana on the other hand though couldn't let this continue and ran to Bakugou, "Rifana no!" Neia shouted as the archer ran to the other side to stop the brutality.

Bakugou however was about done, as Larc's face was now all bruised and bloody unable to even do anything else but groan in pain, as Bakugou throws him next to the still down Kizuna. He then looks at Glass with the soul eater shield nearly eating all but the last of her soul energy with the tiniest amount remaining, the fan hero now looked to be dangerously malnourished, bony, and muscleless across herself as if she was starving to death despite her ethereal body. Like Larc Bakugou grabbed Glass and threw her with her friends.

Wrath corrupted Bakugou then laughs, "HAHAHAHAHA! As I said before, you were no match for me! And now you villains will suffer for your evil and live the rest of eternity in hell!" he insults them as he readies himself to kill all 3 off at the same time for good.

Kizuna barely able to look up says to her friends, "Larc, Glass.. I'm sorry for coming in to help... I... I... just didn't want to lose you again..."

"No Kizuna... this was our fault... we invaded their world and gave him a reason to kill us... These were our sins that you had to suffer from." Glass said with barely any energy left in her to speak as well.

Larc then spoke softly, "No... This was all my fault... I was the one to allow this to happen in the first place... I could've stopped us... He was right, I was just a murderer... a murderer who couldn't think of another way to save everyone... These sins will be mine to take... I hope you two can live life peacefully in heaven, while I pay for my sins in the pits of hell... It's what an idiot like me deserves..." he says with these going to be his last words to his best friends, as the three then start holding hands with one another going to remain friends until the end.

And the end seemed near, after Bakugou stored up more sweat in his gauntlets he then readied himself to blow them all up at once and finally pointed his palms at the 3, "Now di-"

"NO!" Bakugou was interrupted by Rifana grabbing his arm, even if this caused curse marks on her body, she was trying all she could to stop this madness.

This of course pissed off corrupted Bakugou, "Get out of my way you intern! I need to kill these villains and remove them from my sight!" he yells at the weasel girl as she continues to hold his arm.

"No this isn't like you Sir Bakugou! Please remember you're the hero, not a villain! You need to-"

Corrupt Bakugou though slaps her on the face as poor Rifana lays on the ground now scared that she couldn't get her master to see reason. However what she said made Neia finally think of what she needed to say.

"You don't know me at all Weasel! You are nothing more than a naive intern who should know their place! And if you side with them, then you will end in the same place as them" he yells as he raises his arms up once more, planning to kill all of them at once. All with Kyo grinning happier than ever as he watches the soon to be carnage.

"Well I do know you." Neia said as she then stepped in the way in front of the injured heroes, but unlike Rifana before, she was keeping a stern and strong face on herself.

Bakugou stops himself, but he is still enraged by the repeated interruption, "Get the hell out of my way! Or do you want to suffer the same fate as the intern!" he yells at her.

Neia however didn't bulge and said, "Sir Bakugou I know who you really are, and I know it's not this." she expressed which made Bakugou stop himself.

"Interesting?" Kyo expressed and was intrigued himself. He now wanted to listen how this act of desperation will play out.

"What are you talking about?! You don't know who l am! You haven't been through all the shit I suffered through and what I fucked up in" Corrupt Bakugou yelled back at Neia.

Neia continued speaking, "I may not have known what your past was, or what happened before you were first summoned to my world. But I do know who you are since we first met, the hero who saved my life, the hero who took me in as his sidekick, the hero who despite the odds went from being the most hated person in a country whose religion saw you as a devil into one of there most loved heroes. That was all you, who you are now and not what your past was."

Bakugou started to hold himself back as he listened on, despite the wrath shield's influence telling him otherwise.

Neia continued, "I know how it feels thinking about the past and how much it hurts looking back at all the stupid moments you might've done or the stuff you failed to accomplish. I know the feeling because that is me as well. I might have not been in the same situations as you, but I know what it means to feel like a failure, with all those expectations people have put on you. It is all hard to ignore and it hurts just thinking about it. But you showed me that I need to let go of my past, my insecurities, and my flaws, once I overcame them I became exactly like you... a hero to look up to. A hero one wants to be like. A hero who can do good for so many people. You healed the sick, saved the lives from torture by a mad doctor, saved a nation from a coup, saved a father from being killed in front of his daughter, saved Rino and many other girls from enslavers, saved a town from exploiters, saved a whole nation's worth of slaves, saved another nation of a corrupt religion, and saved the whole world from a massive spirit monster. It was what Sir Ren said before, that was all you regardless of your past, and I was right there beside you witnessing every moment. So I do know who you are, the person who you are now. That is the true Katsuki Bakugou I see, and it will be something that will never change regardless of what happened in the past. And I'm happy to be by your side to the ends of many worlds."

Neia then sheathes her Katanas away and kneels down in front of her leader, "If you feel it's right, then you're free to kill me, but I know the real you, not what Kyo thinks you are or Piece of shit or Bitchwhore. I know you will make the right decision in the end, so look inside yourself and be the hero I know you are and be truly happy again. If you do kill me, then it was a great honor serving you, you have done more for me than anyone else in my life and I can never repay you for that."

Bakugou was now speechless as he seemed to develop conflicting emotions after what he just heard.

Kyo though just laughed, "Hahahahahahaha! That was a touching speech, but it's no use. Bakugou is firmly in my control now and will do whatever I tell him he should do. You've lost and I've won. Now then Bakugou, finish them off now. I've got a lot of plans for you and I like to keep it on schedule." he finished and was ready to see most of his enemies killed off all at once.

But nothing happened, Katsuki remained still, trying to process everything Neia said.

Kyo now looked annoyed, "Hey I gave you an order, just kill them already." he ordered but Bakugou continued to remain silent.

"Are you deaf now!? I order you to kill them right now!" Kyo yelled getting more annoyed by Bakugou being unresponsive to his orders.

"I said to kill them already! Stop standing there, and kill who I tell you to kill!" Kyo yelled now getting pissed off at his puppet not cooperating despite the strings being pulled on.

Inside Bakugou's head though he was feeling so many different emotions thinking about everything Neia had said. His corrupt shield and Kyo's spell both tried to force him to act, but the shield hero was now mentally trying to suppress them as he tried to think clearly. He still felt a lot of anger, but was it warranted on the right people, and was he really a failure of a hero that would only be seen as a villain? He thinks back on all the things that have happened in his sidekicks world, with all the things he has done since being summoned. It was nothing artificial, the things Neia said he did were all real and it was things most pro-heroes with licenses have never done themselves.

And all of his sidekicks were real, they were not gold diggers or suck ups, they were his genuine friends who will follow him wherever he went. Even his latest member Rifana who even he knew had a crush on him, the girl was still doing what she thought was right, and was following him because she did see him as the great hero the stories she was read about said, not a loser who thinks they can play hero like Bow Bitch and Ponytail slut. All the thanks and praise he got as a hero in Melromarc were all genuine, the place where he was originally seen as a pure evil villain now saw him as one of their best heroes.

But there was still some severe doubt in himself, having conflicting emotions in him. If he really was worthy of being anyone's hero or if he was not doing the best job he could've, like how he failed to stop Kyo in time in awakening the spirit tortoise, or allowing him and his team to get captured by Trinock, or nearly killing his own sidekicks with the very same shield he was using now, and a bunch of other instances where he screwed up in. Thoughts he tried to ignore before, but were now taking front and center as the fate of many people lay before him.

He then felt someone's hand on his shoulder, "I told you before, didn't I shield hero." Bakugou heard as he turned his head to the voice and saw what appeared to be the spirit of Ost Horai herself, he wasn't sure if this was really her ghost or something made up in his mind, but it felt real to him even if no one else can see her, "You don't need these flames to be strong, the same with your anger. Like All Might said to you long ago, you were always strong before."

"But I... But I... I killed All Might... What kind of hero could I possibly be?" Bakugou struggled to say, even after all this time the guilt of what happened to All Might still ate at the back of his mind even if he tried to ignore it.

"Bakugou only you get to decide what your duty is, and if you are a worthy to be a hero or not. As All Might told you himself, he was not your burden and it was not your fault for what happened to him. As he also said, pride is good in small doses to drive you to always be better, but you shouldn't let it control you, to make you look like a failure because of one mistake or something that was out of your control. If there was anyone with a true burden, it was me. I failed in my duties and allowed an evil man to control my power and kill many innocents, but I never had to resort to evil and I never saw myself as weak. Thanks to your help I managed to stop myself and also stop Kyo in his place.

"But I..." Bakugou tried to say something else, but now was speechless as Ost and All Might's words eat at him down to his soul.

But Ost continued smiling as her body began to disappear, "You are your own hero Bakugou, do what you know is right and go beyond. Plus Ultra." she finished as she disappeared away.

Bakugou still didn't know if that was the real spirit of Ost, but her words along with remembering what All Might said to him before were hitting right into his soul. They were hard to get through at first, but as he thought of them they started to resonate with him.

He remembers everything he had done since arriving, with all the work he had done. He could've just remained isolated in the woods and fought the waves to eventually go back home. But he didn't, he went out of his way to change how the world saw him starting with his first sidekick. He really was a hero, maybe not exactly like the ones at home, but like All Might he helped inspire the people around him to better themselves. He wasn't weak in any sense, not in body, mind, or soul, and the fact his sidekick was standing her ground on her belief of him, to be willing to take death in the face by her belief in himself, he knew it was genuine.

Once more the clouds in his mind started to clear up. The spell and wrath shield try to stop it, but Bakugou was now feeling happy again, happy about himself, so happy he even let out a small tear of joy.

Kyo on the other hand was beyond mad, "For the millionth time! Raise up your arms and kill who I tell you to kill! Do you hear me!? K I L L! Kill! Kill! KILL! They are all evil villains bent on murdering billions! They need to be dead now now now!" he barks his orders getting pissed off by how Bakugou just stood there.

Bakugou turns his head back to Kyo for a second then turns back to Neia, Rifana, and the near dead heroes who can only stare at what their fate might be.

But after a few seconds of silence, Bakugou grips his fists, "You're right! I shouldn't let evil continue! I must purge this room of such villains!" he shouts out loud as he raises both his arms out, with his palms starting to glow brightly with the heroes all now terrified that it seems like it was truly the end now.

Kyo grins once more as he levitates himself in the air again and twirls around in victory, "Yes! YES! About time! Hahahahahaha!"

However unknown to the book hero Bakugou made a small wink at Neia, surprising the warrior with such an implication.

Kyo continued spinning around and monologues, "Now I'll be done with those idiots! And I'll have almost all of the vassal weapons along with a cardinal weapon of this realm! Soon this world will be mine! And afterward many more will fall into my empire. All hail the great Emperor Kyo Ethnin-"

"DIE!" Bakugou immediately turns and fires off his double beamed AP shot attack in the air.

Without any time to react or notice, the beams instantly pierce through Kyo's barrier and the book hero gets blasted right into his empty spirit tortoise soul tube. The thing quickly falls down and smashes into the floor right on the throne chair with Kyo now buried under it along chucks of the ceiling.

Bakugou closes his eyes for a few seconds and lets out a sigh of relief, "*sigh* man that felt good getting that out of my system." Bakugou calmly says with not only his demonic voice gone but so were his glowing red eyes, they were now back to normal.

And just as quickly, despite all it tries, the wrath shield's influence was no more as Bakugou forced his default shield to form back with his demonic armor also fading away. He was now back into his old fantasy hero outfit with his regular shield again.

Seeing Bakugou like this made both Neia and Rifana smile, "Sir Bakugou!" they both shouted.

Neia and then Rifana both ran up and hugged Bakugou happy that he once again defeated the wrath shield's influence along with Kyo's spell, "Sir Bakugou I knew you could do it." Neia says.

Bakugou smiles back at both, "Ha, I'm the number 1 hero, of course I did it. Though it couldn't have been done without you two guys." he happily says to them, though as he looks down at Rifana he can still see the curse marks on her body from the archer grabbing his arm and hitting her face, which made Bakugou feel guilty along with what he remembered saying to her, "Hey weasel girl or Rifana was it, I didn't really mean what I said, I was-"

"Don't worry Sir Bakugou, it's ok. You weren't truly yourself back then, but you're all better now. And you are right, I don't know you much, but I wish to know more about you along with everyone else in your team, and then be a great hero like you and them as well." Rifana says back holding no ill will as she continues her smile.

Bakugou smiles again and rubs her head, "Well that's good to hear, I don't tolerate slackers in the Bakugou agency, so once I heal you up of those scars expect more training." he says with Rifana nodding and blushing to herself.

"Speaking of healing." Neia said and pointed in one direction.

Bakugou then turns his head to see the 3 otherworld heroes, still on the verge of death as they can barely keep their eyes open after witnessing that whole thing, "Oh yeah, I need to help you three up. Heal!" He says as extends his hand out to conduct a healing spell.

In a matter of seconds, both Kizuna and Larc went from the verge of death to near full health once more, with them opening their eyes and feeling the life being inserted back into them.

Bakugou also pulls out a soul power potion from his shield and pours all of it into Glass's mouth. Almost instantly Glass no longer looked to be starving to death and like her friends was in full health once more as the spirit woman stood back up.

All the heroes were now up, and cursed marks aside they were healthy again, "Glad to see you better again Bakugou." Kizuna casually says with a smile showing no ill will to the shield hero. With Glass and Larc doing the same.

"I'm glad to be my normal self as well, taking that stupid wrath form is exhausting. Speaking of that you three might as well take these stamina potions to finish off what we came here to do." Bakugou says as he throws bottles of stamina potion to Larc and Kizuna as well as to Neia and Rifana, and Glass another Soul power potion.

Larc then said after finishing his bottle, "Thanks again for the help Kid-OW!" But was interrupted by Glass elbowing his chest.

"Don't aggravate him again!" Glass scolds Larc not wanting to deal with an out of control wrath corrupt berserker Bakugou a second time.

"You didn't have to hit me that hard." Larc groans still rubbing his chest from the pain with the sidekicks and Kizuna laughing back.

Things changed though once they heard moving from where the throne used to be at, with Kyo still alive as he pushed the debris of the tube and ceiling out of the way. Now he looked completely pissed off, not only to be seeing Larc, Glass, and Kizuna back up alive and healthy again, but Bakugou was no longer in his corrupt manipulated form, he was back to normal again, "No! No! NO! You should be under my control! Under my influence as a little bitch! You were all mine!" Kyo screams not believing one of his best plans was now ruined.

Bakugou proceeds to mock him, "Not anymore bookworm. I'm better than ever and this time I'll make sure you stay dead this time."

Kyo then took out his crystal ball and made more projections to show off Bakugou's past again to piss him off once more, "Do you not remember how much of a failure you are! Losing to a quirkless weakling, losing every chance you had, or what that little thing about killing the number one hero?! Remember that?! You killed All Might himself!" He yells at Bakugou doing all he can to piss him off again and take control once more.

But this time it wasn't working on Bakugou as he grins wildly toward Kyo, "You think I care about that shit anymore bookworm? What happened in the past I can't change, but the present and future I can. I've proven myself more than enough that I'm a true hero. I've gone the distance and done more than I could've imagined. Even now I have my own agency with sidekicks who also know who I am, and they mean more to me than anyone else. You on the other hand are nothing more than a weak spineless loser who relies on cheap tricks and treating your subordinates like shit. I know exactly who you are, a short dicked shut in who probably couldn't hold a job if it bit you in the ass! I don't need to be mad at you, you're not worth getting mad at, I'll finish you off like All Might would do to other scum, with a smile on my face." And with his speech finished, Bakugou smiles wider than ever showing his resolve and is now moving on from his past.

Kyo was madder than ever as his plan failed. He gripped the crystal ball harder and harder making it crack until it completely shatters, ending the projections for good as Kyo now clutched his fist, "Fine! I'll just kill all of you the old fashion way and then puppet around your corpses afterward!" Kyo screams and finally opens his book once more immediately starting up some spells.

The heroes immediately took action as they blocked and dodged the various spells Kyo fired while also trying to get a hit on the sorcerer with his barrier back in full force again. Everyone can tell Kyo is fighting seriously this time as he tries to throw the best he got at them even making stronger constructs than before to just kill them all this time. But the fight had just started as heroes battle to free the vassal book from its evil master for good.

Far down in the lab, another battle for survival was going on as Daven, Rino, and Yomogi tried all they could to not be burnt, crushed, or eaten by wrath corrupted Kirishima. All the while also avoiding Zombie Kazuki.

Daven may be able to easily blind the dragon and Rino could've blasted him with an intense beam attack at a weak spot, but they avoid doing any true attacks on Kirishima knowing he was just being manipulated by Kyo and his father's cursed shield. But it was getting harder and harder to not attack as the dragon's fury persisted, bashing through any walls and burning everything in his path. Leaving most of the lab destroyed.

"So how are we going to find anything on Kyo's resurrection lab if everything in his normal lab is destroyed?" Daven complains out loud as he, Yomogi, and Rino jump behind another set of walls to avoid a huge stream of fire.

"How about we first prioritize us even surviving in this lab." Rino joked back but it didn't do much to relieve the tension as Kirishima rans himself through the area again as the group flees, while Kirishima bashes through a new wall.

Another wall also gets broken through with his tail, and this reveals Kyo's main office with the force of the tail also knocking over his desk. From afar Yomogi saw some scrolls that were originally under the desk that she had seen before and knew they were of extreme importance. She immediately runs to get them before they possibly get burnt while avoiding the dragon.

Zombie Kazuki tries to also blast her but Daven manages to distract him while he tries to do battle with the zombie that has surprisingly good reflexes for an undead.

Yomogi manages to grab the scrolls and makes another run for it, but before she gets far, Kirishima manages to swipe her with his tail into a wall corner.

Now literally cornered, wrath corrupted Kirishima was happy to have at least one of his pesky targets taken out and was ready to eat her.

"Blinding light!" Rino shouts in time temporarily blinding Kirishima and stopping the wrath corrupt Dragon from eating Yomogi, but this barely lasts for a few seconds as the mad beast grows madder as Rino gets in front of Yomogi with no time to run away.

Kirishima this time breathes fire at them, "Intense light beam!" Rino shouts and fires an equally strong beam of light to counter the powerful stream of fire.

The two were now in an intense beam struggle, with the dragon trying to overpower the mage. While Rino tries her best to not overpower Kirishima too much, fearing her beam might kill the poor mind-controlled dragon but even she had her limits as it was getting harder and harder to hold back the powerful flames.

Daven struggles to get anywhere with the zombie Kazuki and also witnesses Rino's battle with the dragon not knowing what they were going to do to stop this without killing him.

However, the situation immediately changed once Daven saw Kirishima's eyes instantly stop glowing red and revert back to his normal orange eyes again. The Dragon now looked confused and was starting to stop his fires with Rino still giving all she had unaware of the change.

Daven knew he had to save Kirishima, and instantly teleports right beside Rino and grabbed her and Yomogi then teleports away just as fast with the dragon's fires burning a now empty wall corner. And once reappeared, Rino's beam fires into an open ceiling vaporizing right through it. Saving not only their lives but Kirishima's as well.

Rino was wondering what that was about, but just looking at Kirishima's face and eyes she could tell what happened and was happy to know the implications of that.

Zombie Kazuki was still active throughout the event, as he tried to attack the heroes again.

"Intense light beam!" Rino shouts again, firing her attack at the mirror directly, which its zombie wielder blocks and deflects the beam away. This also keeps the mirror holder in place which Rino counted on.

With Kirishima no longer dazed from breaking out his wrath corruption, he remembers what his father wanted him to do and also sees his siblings in danger. He then immediately runs toward the undead vassal wielder.

The zombie in horror saw him and wanted to do something, but couldn't while also deflecting Rino's constant beam attack at the same time. So it could only stand there as Kirishima bited down and ate the zombie Kazuki whole, all but his arm that was holding the mirror avoiding his sibling's beam attack.

Kirishima proceeds to chew the zombie clone up, grinding him up into meat chunks until he swallows him down. And with that, the zombie Kazuki was dead with all but a now rotting arm and a vassal mirror remaining.

The heroes sigh in relief that this stressful situation is over, with Daven immediately grabbing hold of the mirror making sure such a powerful thing doesn't magically disappear away, with the mirror allowing him to hold itself despite not choosing Daven as its new master just so it can get away from Kyo's clutches with the rogue putting it away in a bag he had.

Rino also went up to Kirishima and rubbed his head, "Glad to see you on our side again Kiri." she happily says to the dragon, who quietly growled in happiness with Daven coming in to rub his head the same, both sidekicks showing no ill will with the dragon happy to be with his siblings again.

The 3 then turned themselves to see Yomogi looking over a bunch of scrolls she snagged from under Kyo's main desk, "I hope you had good reason doing a risky stunt like that?" Rino asked considering Yomogi was the one who put herself at risk with the dragon in the first place.

Yomogi nods to her, "It was indeed for good reason, look at this." she responds and shows off the scrolls to Rino and Daven who now looked surprised to have found out what the papers were about.

Back in the main throne chamber, the battle between the Vassal book sorcerer and the heroes continued on. As Kyo used whatever spells he could while also creating new construct minions to overwhelm his enemies.

But the heroes persist with the constructs not lasting no more than a few seconds as the heroes attack Kyo and his magic barrier. Especially Bakugou, who keeps going on the attack blasting at Kyo over and over as the sorcerer tries his best to keep himself protected with his barrier while Rifana keeps making holes in it.

Despite being outnumbered, Kyo manages to keep up if barely when he is fighting seriously in his world. But he hasn't been able to get a good hit on any of the heroes, especially with Bakugou blocking them off. Which was pissing Kyo off, as he tried to get on his skin again, "You will regret crossing me Bakugou! Even if I don't defeat you today, I'll start summoning people from your world like your mommy and daddy and then make them into my guinea pigs to torture in every painful way I can think of." he threatens hoping to either get him to lose his concentration or bring out the wrath shield again.

But Bakugou was no longer getting angry at Kyo as he continues his smiling, "You must really be a shut in loser if you're just going to throw internet troll level insults at me." he mocks him while dodging more magic blasts, which just pissed off Kyo more as he makes several runes from his book in the air that fire multiple beams at Bakugou as he is forced to hold them back.

Kyo then smugly smiles back, "Just remember, you killed me before and I came back just the same. Even if you win, I still win myself and I will do whatever I want without you butting in and there is nothing you can do about it! So how does it feel to fight an immortal-"

But then Kyo was interrupted after a large monster came crashing through the wall. Said monster is adult form Kirishima with Rino, Daven, and Yomogi riding on his back.

"About time you got here." Bakugou shouts happy to see that his whole team is here now.

"Shit! I forgot about the dragon!" Kyo expressed out loud, all the heroes that were already here were enough as is, but now more of them showed up riding what was supposed to be his new attack Dragon. But after shaking his head he smugly smiles again, "Whatever it still doesn't change the fact I'll keep coming back over and over once you kill me here." he smugly brags about without interruption this time.

"Actually we know where your resurrection lab is at." Rino casually comments.

"What!?" Kyo expressed in surprised confusion.

Daven nods, "Yes, it's right down in this area 200 feet underground, I can sense the resting spare bodies." he responds using his dark magic ability to find the specific spot of the lab.

"NO! How were you able to even look for it down there?" Kyo demanded getting mad even while he also was still fired spells at the other heroes.

Yomogi raised her arm out holding a bunch of scrolls, "This was hiding under your desk, design plans on your lab layouts including your private underground one for cloning yourself." she bragged letting it be clear to Kyo what a mistake it was to betray her trust.

"I thought I order you to incinerate those damn things?!" Kyo yelled not believing those things were still around.

Yomogi immediately answers, "I heard you, but I thought I keep them hidden away for safekeeping just in case we may need something of them one day. Looks like this time my better judgment came through in the end."

Kyo was pissed off to no end about this whole thing. But then his smug smile returns, "Well it won't matter anyways, as you said it's over 200 feet underground under thousands of pounds of dirt and rock. I can teleport in and out of it whenever I want, but it'll take the likes of you days to get down there, and once you do get there I'll be long gone and somewhere else safe building up a new cloning lab. The original entrance to it I already filled up with solid concrete, so good for you on discovering a place you can't get to. Hahahahahahahaha!" Kyo bragged and laughed thinking he was still going to come up top even if he didn't have his shield slave.

"Intense light beam!" Rino shouted and pointed her staff-spear toward the ground Daven pointed to and fired an intense beam of light right through the ground.

This surprised Kyo with what she had just done and before he could stop her there was now a small hole in the ground. Nothing no bigger than a large house cat can pass through it, but it made it through the 200 feet of dirt with Daven confirming it, "Yep exactly where it is."

Kyo now started to look worried as he tried to keep himself cool, "Well there is still no way any of you idiots can fit through that tiny hole so it was all-"

"Kirishima get small!" Bakugou ordered and with Daven, Rino, and Yomogi jumping off the dragon, Kirishima transformed into his toddler form and immediately went right into the newly formed small hole.

"NNOOOO!" Kyo screams in fear, now truly worried about his precious clone lab as he attempts to teleport down there to stop the dragon. But he gets interrupted by Bakugou blasting near his face on the barrier, with all the other heroes and sidekicks doing all they can to keep Kyo from going anywhere and distract him. The teleportation spell to get down there specifically requires at least 10 uninterrupted seconds to succeed, and the heroes were giving him no chance to be uninterrupted.

Meanwhile, Kirishima continues down the small tight hole, descending as fast as he can, and thanks to his body's natural heat resistance the burning walls do not affect him.

Eventually Kirishima finally emerges from the newly made hole in the ceiling of the secret lab of Kyo's. And it was indeed his special resurrection lab, full of blue liquid filled tubes with living resting clone bodies of the sorcerer inside them if he were ever to die, along with many other machines there to maintain them and to get a hold of his vassal book again even from different worlds.

But that ends today as Kirishima grows into his adult form again and goes on a rampage across the lab, smashing and destroying everything he sees. This includes each and every sleeping clone, eating them or smashing them into a bloody paste. The dragon was making sure everything in here was destroyed, as he also breathed fire all across this place with the various machines and equipment catching a flame and/or blowing up. All of the clones were killed and the equipment was destroyed as the ceiling of this lab began to collapse from the explosions and destruction.

Kirishima knew his job was done and before he got buried in rubble he shrunk back down to toddler form and flew out the same way he came in.

After a few more seconds, the dragon emerges back out from the floor proving the job was done along with smoke coming out of the hole.

"No! No! NO! This can't be happening!? This can't be happening!? I knew I should've built a spare base away from here!" Kyo panics out loud, he tries to look for the presence of any bodies down there the dragon might've missed but he can't find anything, all the clone bodies were dead with all the equipment destroyed. He knew now he had nothing to transfer his soul to. So when he dies now, he'll be dead for real.

Bakugou looked smug knowing exactly what happened, as he gave himself a second of rest with the other heroes and sidekicks doing the same to get a good look on Kyo's frightened face.

Kyo was both pissed and scared out of his mind now with his sense of invincibility destroyed. But after shaking his head Kyo smugly smiled once more, "Ha, well it looks like I made quite a few mistakes today, but it will all just be an learning experience for me." his body then began to glow, ready to just teleport away from here, "Thank you again for the lessons Katsuki, I'll be sure to not make them a second time! Hahahahahahaha!" he laughed and teleports away.

Or he should have but then his glow stopped, "What!?" Kyo expressed confused and tried to teleport away again, and the same happened as before, the glow disappeared again. He tried again and again and again but the spell kept breaking and Kyo remained stuck where he was, "Why the hell can't I teleport out of here!?" he screams having no idea what was going on.

He then heard some light laughing and saw that it was coming from Rino, "Oh that would be me. I finally got the spell finished back after we fought that zombie puppet of yours. Do you remember when you stopped Neia from teleporting away? Well me, Bakugou, and Ethnobalt worked together to make a similar spell of our own so that you wouldn't try a stunt like this." she explains to the now more pissy sorcerer.

"Looks like kidnapping me before had just made your unintentional downfall Kyo." Neia mocks the evil man.

Kyo was now enraged at the mage, "You damn bitch!" he shouts and fires multiple beam attacks at Rino, but these were all blocked away thanks to the shield hero.

Kyo starts the fight again producing more and more spells to not only keep the other heroes away but he is now using all he can to kill Rino. He may hate Bakugou more, but he rather kill Rino to stop the spell and then make a run for it.

But his hyper focus on Rino was making him less focused on everyone else as Rifana made an opening in the barrier on Kyo's side, and Kizuna took that opportunity to throw her pole and snagged a fishing hook on Kyo's free right arm as it wrapped around the limb completely, with Larc grabbing onto the string ahead of Kizuna to keep it on tight.

"Damn you let me go!" Kyo shouts as he tries to kill Kizuna and Larc this time, but like before is stopped by Bakugou. With Daven here he can teleport all around the room instantly, "I will not be beaten by pathetic idiots like you! I am to become the most powerful being in all existence and you never stop me!" he shouts still conducting spells while trying to remove the hook.

Neia whispered something to Rino with the mage nodding in agreement as she applied a spell on her katana.

Bakugou then had Daven teleport himself right in front of levitating Kyo's face, "Stun grenade!" he shouts and fires a big bright explosion near Kyo's face.

"My eyes! My eyes!" Kyo screams as the sorcerer is nearly blinded by the flashing light.

Bakugou then lands on the ground and fires an intense AP shot beam attack at Kyo with Glass and Rino doing something similar along with an adult sized Kirishima breathing an intense breath of fire with the Book wielder trying to recollect himself as his barrier breaks from another arrow of Rifana's as he forced himself to fire an equally powerful counter beam on the fours other beams to stop them in place. All the while he tries to free his other arm that was still entangled by the magic fishing line.

But with him distracted and also still a bit dazed from the flash attack, this was another opportunity to attack as Rifana fired another arrow at the barrier behind and above Kyo's left shoulder, as Daven then teleported Neia behind the sorcerer.

"Electric sword!" she yelled then Neia jumped and threw her glowing Katana at the newly made hole.

Kyo mocked the effort, "Don't you remember you Blue bitch I have near full immunity to electric attacks so you just wasted your-"

*slice*

but to his horror, the blade going faster than he could react to, sliced right through Kyo's left arm that was holding the book vassal weapon. The sword wasn't electrified, it was imbued with light magic with Neia lying about the attack name. Had he paid attention, Kyo would've caught that, but him getting blinded by Bakugou's attack earlier attack and him underestimating the sidekicks became yet another downfall of his.

Both the vassal book and his severed left arm fall to the ground.

Kyo now looked absolutely horrified, as he looked at his stump of a left arm. He was in a lot of pain, but that was ignored by the fact he lost his powerful weapon.

Kizuna immediately saw that through and then let go of her string, freeing his other arm.

"My book no!" Kyo yelled and before the attack spells wore off he dived down to grab the book again with his other arm.

But Daven just teleports right under it, and before Kyo can get close the rogue grabs and teleports away with the book.

Kyo crashed on the ground still weaponless as he panicked and stood back up, "OW!" only to be struck from behind by Daven teleporting behind and stabbing him with his Sai and just as quickly teleported away.

And the stab wasn't any regular stab, without his book Kyo immediately felt the effects of a curse flowing through his veins as dark magic overfilled his mana pool. This made all the other spells he had going to cease, so now even without the book he couldn't do any more magic on his own. He was now just a helpless evil one arm man.

Kyo panicked and without any other plan, he immediately looked to the massive hole in the wall Kirishima created and made a run for it.

Only to be stopped when a still smiling Bakugou lands in front of the now terrified powerless sorcerer, as the shield hero cracks his knuckles again, "So bookworm, what was that about you teleporting in and then torturing my parents back from home when you got the chance?" Bakugou mocks throwing Kyo's words back at him.

Kyo realizes how screwed he was and tried to bargain with the shield hero, "Hey wait a minute Bakugou! Why don't we talk about this? You and Miss Kizuna want to stop the waves right? With my brilliant mind, we can together find a way to stop them and then-*smash*" Bakugou had enough and immediately went to punching Kyo right in the face instantly breaking and knocking off his glasses.

Bakugou then goes on a full brutal beat down on Kyo, punching and letting out explosions on every part of his body, making sure the evil bastard will feel every part of that pain. None of the heroes stopped him as they watched the evil bastard get what was coming to him.

The beatdown continued as Bakugou showed no mercy on Kyo punching him in the face over and over breaking a bunch of Kyo's teeth. Bakugou then grabs Kyo's broken glasses and forcibly stabs them right in Kyo's left eye, "AAAAHHHH!" Kyo screams in pain after losing one of his eyes.

Bakugou then decided to jump away, "I'll let the rest of you guys in on the fun as well." he said which confused Kyo at first as he still felt the pain of missing an eye.

Then Kyo started feeling pain all across his body as Daven popped in and out stabbing and slicing his body. Kyo just felt endless pain as it seemed to get worse from Daven's curse also boosting Kyo's nerve sensitivity making everything more painful than it already was.

But after Daven disappeared Neia came in and she not only sliced Kyo's other arm off making him completely armless now she stabs him in the stomach from behind and lets out a huge stream of electricity, "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Kyo screams again, and unlike before this did not tickle.

"I see that you have lost all of your electricity resistance." Neia mocks him as the evil man continues to get electrocuted until Neia stops herself and takes out her blade from his body.

Kyo was in so much pain that he could barely stand up, but he wasn't even given a 5 second break as a strong energy arrow was shot right at his crutch destroying any sensitive organs he had down there. The arrow of course came from Rifana's bow, "That was for Ost and all the people you killed in the Tortoise kingdom." she scolded Kyo who was almost kneeling in pain unable to hold his destroyed crotched since he no longer had any arms to do so.

"I guess it's my turn now." Rino said, and with her earth magic she made the ground around Kyo wrap around his legs and had the rocks break and completely crush his remaining limbs and their bones.

"AAAAAHHHH!" Kyo screamed again not catching any break on all the pain Bakusquad was dishing out on him. Rino then fired an arcane missile light spell on Kyo and it was so strong along with them already being damaged Kyo was blasted away with his legs being torn off from his body.

Kyo was now a one eyed, armless, legless, and basically a eunuch now, "Please no more, I give up! Yomogi please help me!" He cries and bags to his former minion, with her now looking away in disgust.

"You are paying for your sins Kyo, this is what your evil led to and I will not interfere in it." Yomogi responds.

"Please help me!" Kyo cries again, but once more no one is coming to help the evil man.

Kyo then heard heavy footsteps and to his horror, there was one more member of Bakugou's agency that didn't have a turn in beating up the evil bastard. Kirishima looks down on him as Kyo attempts to squirm away to no avail.

Kirishima's stomach heated up and went up to his mouth until he finally let it all out, "AAAAAHHHHHH!" Kyo once more screams in agony as he takes a full on flame attack in full force as Kirishima lets out as much as he can on the evil piece of meat.

Eventually Kirishima stops his flame. Now Kyo was also burnt to a crisp, with all his hair incinerated and most of his skin burnt, it was a miracle he was still even alive if barely thanks to his high HP, as the evil sorcerer moaned in pain, "Please... no more... please I give up." Kyo begged faintly after going through so much pain he just wanted it to stop.

However he heard some more footsteps and this time it was Katsuki Bakugou still smirking, "I think we had all of our fun now, let's end this already."

Kyo's fear instantly came back, as he now remembered that he had no more clones, and with all the evil things he had done he knew what came next and tried to squirm away from death as the shield hero now stood before burnt limbless Kyo ready to finish him off.

"Wait!" Kyo shouted trying one last attempt in bargaining with Bakugou to save his burnt ass, "Please wait Bakugou! Think about what we could accomplish together!? We can bring permanent peace throughout the multi-verse! Stop all wars, remove all those who are corrupt and evil, and bring prosperity to everyone! Including your own world, you can become the number 1 hero, destroy the league of villains and any other evil demon lord wannabes, stop all the villains, and become a greater hero than All Might himself! Don't you see that Katsuki?! That can be yours if we work together and-MMMM!"

But Kyo was finally silenced as Bakugou covered his mouth with his palm and lifted him up to eye level, "Shut up already." Bakugou casually said.

He then ignited his quirk directly inside Kyo's mouth, with the evil man for the last few seconds of his life was now feeling all of the pain of getting an explosion set off in his mouth.

*BOOOM!*

Bakugou finally blew up Kyo's head up, with his hand all bloody with what was left of Kyo's torso falling on the ground, now headless as well.

Kyo was now dead for real this time and he won't be harming anyone ever again.

After Bakugou quickly cleaned himself of the blood and more with his soap shield and Kirishima ate what was left of Kyo, the sidekicks all cheered as they ran to group hug Bakugou, all happy it was now all over.

"We did it Sir Bakugou! We did it!" Neia expressed in joy.

"Indeed we did, all together as a team." Bakugou admits out loud, still happy to know his sidekicks love and respect for him were all genuine and it all felt good.

Kizuna was doing the same as Glass and Larc all group hugged each other, "We did it guys, just like the old days." Kizuna says to her friends.

"Indeed it we did." Glass says back.

The heroes continued on with their group hugs as this long day finally came to an end. All the while Yomogi looks around and smiles but also cries, "Your evil reign has ended Kyo, now it's time for me to repair the damage you caused."

After an hour later the heroes were now outside the lab ruin. The battle with the garrison force was intense with casualties, but Sickle's forces ended up victorious both on the ground and in the sky, as Ethnobalt's ship appeared above the army as the heroes helped care for the wounded.

Ethnobalt himself along with Therese and Blue flying around her were all on the ground again and ran up to the heroes, "Kizuna! Larc! Glass! Are all of you ok?!" she shouted to them wanting to make sure her 3 friends were ok especially with the bandages on them.

Kizuna and Larc smiles at their other friend, "Therese we're ok, that Kyo guy is dead and we have the book vassal weapon with us."

Glass confirmed it by holding up late Kyo's vassal book, with its spirit at ease now freed from its enslavement.

"That's perfect! Our world will be a better place now with his evil gone forever." Therese says though she was wondering what the bandages on her and Larc were for, even Bakugou's sidekick Rifana had them despite having full health, "What wounds were these?" she asked pointing to her bandages.

Larc was the one to answer though, "Just some cursed marks. They should be gone in a few days thanks to Bakugou's healing water even if Bakugou was the one to have made them in the first place-OW!" Glass interrupts him by elbowing the scythe hero again, "I was joking!" he defends himself.

Bakugou decided to approach the off world heroes, "I hope that will teach you a lesson today, to know what happens when you want a fair fight to the death. You'll now know what you are really up against when I hold no restraint on myself." he lectures to them especially to Glass and Larc who nod in agreement, after fighting his powerful wrath form they never want to cross with him in a fight ever again nor give him reason to want to kill them again.

However after saying that Bakugou let out a sigh and then said, "*sigh* But look, even if it was really that evil bastard's fault with the mind control shit, I still allowed myself to get pissed off like that, by him over bringing up old shit from the past and made myself lose control which helped cause those curse marks. So in that instant... I'm sorry for nearly killing you because of that." he apologized even if it did take some willpower out of him to say it in his more joyful mood from his recent victory right now helping, he also said to Kizuna, "And I'm also sorry for doubting your methods Pigtails. Even if I still think they are stupidly naive and my method probably would've still worked eventually, they did help us find bookworm in the first place and helped put a permanent end to him."

Kizuna smiled toward Bakugou, happy that he of all people finally decided to apologize, almost making her tear up as she ran up to Bakugou to hug him, "Thank you for being strong enough to apologize Bakugou. And thank you again for everything you've done for me, freeing me from the labyrinth and helping out my friends despite the crap they put you through, you have my enteral gratitude shield hero." she says with now a tear coming down her face with Bakugou smiling back.

"I appreciate the compliments, but enough hugging now." Bakugou said as he pushed Kizuna out of the way who just laughed at Bakugou still maintaining his tough guy attitude.

"And it looks like the impossible happened once more." Neia said with Rino smiling with her with the other sidekicks doing the same.

Kizuna then also added, "I guess you were also right about it being a waste of time to talk to Kyo, I'll give you that. But at least we now have all of his notes and research papers from his office that thankfully Kirishima didn't burn. So we can still get all the information he knew about the waves through those." she finish with Bakugou nodding in agreement to both being proven right again and to also being eager to get what information that bastard knew about the waves.

"I like to apologize as well." said another voice that turned out to be Yomgoi, "I'm sorry for what I did the other day and for allowing Kyo to get away with his evil for so long. The shield hero is right, I was an idiot and blindly followed his way." she then kneels to Bakugou, "Shield hero as promised if you think I deserve to be executed for my association with Kyo you are free to do it now." she says to the hero feeling guilt across her body.

Bakugou looks down at the woman for a few seconds while scratching his chin with the others wondering what he wants to do with her.

Bakugou then just shrugs, "Ha, if you really want to redeem yourself for what that bastard has done, frankly you're more useful alive than dead. If you keep that servant talisman or whatever on you and cooperate with Pigtails and her friends in figuring out the waves then I say you earned to keep your life at least." he says to the woman who smiled and bowed to the shield hero.

"Thank you for your mercy Sir Bakugou, I'll do all I can to help the hunter hero and the people of Sickle and find a proper way to end the waves without any more death or murder of other worlds." Yomogi thanked and stood back up.

Glass then said, "Same here. So then Sir Bakugou, what are you going to do now?"

"Getting back to the world I was summoned in the first place is our biggest priority. Our best way to get back we figured is going through by the waves like you guys did." Bakugou answered.

Kizuna looks at her menu at the wave timer, "It looks like it's still a few more days until the next wave starts though.".

Daven then said, "Well until then, we might as well stay with you guys for now."

Bakugou nods in approval of that, "If these 4 give us whatever we want, including information then I see no harm in that." he said, thinking this was the best option anyway as well as an opportunity to get him and his whole team stronger, and to find out more about the waves of catastrophe and learn from Kyo's papers since they can't read the language he wrote it down in anyway, "But we're still not buddies here! We're still just on a non-aggression pact and temoporary coalition against a common enemy with it being the waves now. Got it!" he adds with Larc, Glass, and Therese nodding in agreement knowing the still have a lot to go to make up for what they did with the heroes.

Rino liked the idea, "Yeah imagine what we could learn from here and apply it back at home." she said, liking the idea of learning more of the unique magic of this different world.

Neia also approved of the idea, "I like to also help out with the whole Raybul situation with you guys, since some of it I feel is my fault." she says to them still remembering how war might occur because of her new Katana weapon.

Larc though smiles back, "Oh that will be easy to take care of, especially with Kyo dead and having the vassal book and mirror with us."

Therese now looked confused, "Mirror? Larc what do you mean?"

"We'll explain it later, right now we should be going before Raybul sends in a full army after us. Then we can celebrate with a great banquet." he then looked back at Bakugou, "You're invited as well Kiddo."

"I TOLD YOU TO NOT CALL ME THAT!" Bakugou exploded showing his anger once more which made his sidekicks and Kizuna giggle a little. Though Bakugou's anger quickly went away as he then struts past Larc, "But sure that sounds fine with me, young master."

"Hey I said don't call me that kiddo!" Larc yelled at Bakugou who knew what he was doing making everyone laugh again.

Everyone is then teleported on the ship and heads its way back to Sickle. Another chapter ending for our heroes as another great evil has been vanquished.

Author's note: I know it's been a while as usual, though this time I do have an excuse as my family moved to a new place and a new house so anyone who has moved will understand the experience of moving along with me getting a new job. Still I wish I could make these chapters come out more often with my 5 year anniversary of this story coming in November especially since we are getting into more uncharted territory with this story of me wanting to do more stuff soon. Oh I would've had this out a few days earlier, but then Hurricane Helene came by to make my whole area face a complete blackout for 4 days, forcing me use the notes app on my iPhone to finish editing until the power came back, so that was fun.

Oh and as I was writing this the manga of My Hero Academia has officially ended, I have to say it definitely feels like the end of an era. I personally did have some issues with some of the story direction and plot points in the latter half of the My Hero story after the Meta Liberation army villain arc, but overall I'm still happy the story finally finished and exists at all, becoming one of my favorite world's of all time with a character I didn't think I would've ended up liking in the first place, who then became the character I wanted to write about. So I like to thank Kohei Horikoshi for creating such a world and colorful characters in the first place and hope he goes off to make many more stories and world's whether they be new or in My Hero's universe. I would also like to thank author Aneko Yusagi for their creative and unique world and characters of the Rising of the Shield hero.

For a long while I wondered if it was right to make it season 3 and 4 Bakugou and not wait for it to be him later in My heroes story. But with the story finally ending I think I did make the right decision picking this Bakugou in this timeframe with that being where he truly did change as a character forever and fit right in the story like a glove.
