No Free Lunch
In the cavern from the Sanjo city, the people are visiting and exploring the cavern.
"Welcome to the cavern, folks. As you enter the cave, please stay with your tour guide and do not wander off parts of the cavern are still underdeveloped and extremely dangerous and we don't want to lose anyone" The announcer cautioned the tourists as it cuts to the closed tunnel way.
A droplet of water drops on Ursula, casing to flinched and hit the stalactite as they were exploring the cavern, looking for the dinosaur.
"Oh, Dr. Z better be right about a dinosaur being in this cave!" She said.
"Well, how many times has he been wrong?" Zander asked.
"I can't count that high!" Ursula exclaimed. "But at least those annoying tourists didn't follow us into this area."
"I wonder why?" Ed leaned on the rock pillar. "This is the nicest part of the cave." The pillar is starting to crack and collapsed.
The cave system buries the Alpha gang in the pile of rocks.
"Lucky for you, Ed! I have one hand free to pummel you with!" Ursula said, waving her fist.
"Yeah, lucky me!" Ed said, under the rocks.
Unbeknownst to the Alpha gang, the egg capsule rolls down the pile of rocks.

At school, the bus is lined at school as the classes is lined up for a field trip. Rex and Zoe are waiting for Max.
"Max is gonna missed the bus." Zoe said.
"I know, he forgot his dino-holder again." Rex said.
"Well, good thing his head attached." She said.
"Yeah, that's Max." He said before Max skid on arrival.
"I'm here! I made it!" Max yelled as he ran to them.
"That was pretty quick." Rex said.
"I took a shortcut through the library." He panted.
"Is your dino-holder in silent mode? I hope." Zoe asked, whispering.
"Oh, thanks for reminding me." Max put it in silent mode. "Okay, all set. Let's go already. Who are we waiting for?"
"Well, listen to you. You're a good one to talk." Zoe said, sarcastically.
"No kidding." Rex agreed.
"I'm here!" Their teacher named Michelle, skids in front of class. "Everybody, ready? Hello, nice to see you. I'm Michelle, science field trip leader extraordinaire!" The students were bothered at the teacher's behavior. "So, is everybody else is excited to go on this field trip as I am? I thought I'd never get to sleep, then I did. Then my alarm went off and I was like 'no way it feels just like Christmas except there's no snow or a tree or presents."
"Why do we have to get stuck with her?" Rex asked, perplexing
"I don't know, I kinda like her." Max said.
"I hope she calms down a little bit." He said.
"She's excited about the field trip." Zoe assured him.
"I am too, you don't see me dancing around." Rex said while their teacher is dancing.
"Hate to tell you, but she's always like this." Max told him.
"Alright, now that everyone's here and warmed up, let's get on the buses and hit the road!" Michelle said.
"I just hope she's not the driver." He said, hopefully.
Meanwhile, the Alpha gang is trapped and buried in the pile of rocks for who knows how long while feeling hungry and weak.
"I'm hungry." Ed groaned.
"Yeah." Zander added.
"Can anyone how long we've been buried under these rocks?" Ursula asked.
"I'd check my watch and tell you, but I seem to be buried in rocks." He replied.
"Ah! You know what sounds good? Chowder. Maybe red, but the white is nice too, mmm." She said, starting to lose her mind.
"Hurry up and say it." Zander told Ed
"Eh…I'm not so sure about this, Zander." He said, not sure about the idea
"She's starting to lose it, say it before it's too late. This is our only hope." He hurried him.
"…Ursula! Zander just said something about an…OLD LADY!" Ed shouted to her, making her turn to them with angry look while face turned red.
Ed and Zander whimpered in worry as she was ready to blow.
"How dare either one of you even utter those words…I'LL CRUSH YOU!" Ursula yelled, getting up, causing the rocks flying. The egg capsule cracked open the cards and activated when it touched the rocks. "Let me hear you say that again, Ed! You think I'm old, don't you? I know you and Zander talk about me behind my back! You think I don't hear you but—" She shakes Ed, violently.
"Well, what do you know, Ursula? You managed to get us all free from the rock pile." Zander said, mentioning they're free from the rocks.
"I did? Oh, what do you know?" She said, dropping Ed. Her stomach rumbles as she hasn't eaten anything. "Uhhg…I'm too weak and hungry to clobber you. Let's go find some food before Ed starts looking like a doughnut." Ursula said, moaned and feeling hungry before leaving the cavern area.
"Mmm…doughnuts…" Zander and Ed said, leaving as well.
As they left, a dinosaur called Euoplocephalus appeared behind the pile of rocks.
"Wow, and I thought my stomach was loud, which one of your bellies is rumbling like a broken-down bulldozer?' She asked.
"It wasn't me." Ed replied.
"Me either." Zander added as the Euoplocephalus left wandering the cavern.
"Sure, make it look like I'm the one with no manner." Ursula scoffed.
Sanjo city
Terran is walking from the D-lab with Wisp until he heard an alarm from his controller.
"A dinosaur has revealed itself and its located not far from here." He looked at the map in his controller. "Let's go, Wisp." They head to the location of a dinosaur.
At school, the classes are boarding on the bus for field trip.
"Are you Zoe?" Michelle asked.
"I am." She replied.
"Hi there, could you do me a big favor and sit next to the new girl, Amy? try to make her feel welcome." She told him.
"Oh, all right." Zoe said, getting on the bus and sit next to Amy. "Hi, are you Amy?"
"Hmm." She looked at Zoe and looked away, shyly. "Uh, yeah. That's me."
A few minutes later, they've all head to the cavern on the bus. Michelle was sleeping while the students was disturbed by her snoring.
"Field trips are fun, huh?" Zoe said.
"Huh, what?" Amy said.
"Oh, just getting out of classroom. What trips are your favorite? I like the museum but places like caves, I like those the best." She said.
"Yeah, I guess. They're okay." Amy said.
"Today's trip should be fun." Zoe said, trying cheer her up.
"Yeah." She said.
"Caves are gross. This one's probably full of slimy lizards too."
"Ugh, I hope not." The girl said, making Amy heard the word 'lizard'
"Are you okay?" Zoe asked.
"I heard lizard." Amy replied.
"Oh, you like lizards, Amy?" She asked, discovered she like lizards.
"Yeah, a lot." Amy said.
"I like lizards too." Zoe said.
"No, do you really?" She said.
"Absolutely, I think they're really cute. Do you have one for a pet or anything?" Zoe asked.
"No, not anymore, I don't." Amy said, sadly.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Zoe said as Amy looks sad. "What's wrong? Are you feeling okay? Do you want me to go get Michelle?"
"No, I'm alright." Amy replied.
"Okay." She said while Rex looks at them.
The class arrived at the cavern for field trip.
"So here we are, the cave entrance, kids! Now, rule number one is belongers always stay together. I say belongers because that's what cave explorers are called but mostly I just like the word, it always makes me giggle a little bit." Michelle giggled before leading her students to the cave. "Let's go! Left, right!"
"Huh?" Rex saw someone who looked familiar walking in the cave.
"What's wrong?" Zoe asked.
"I thought I saw Terran." He replied.
"He's probably here to explore the caves too." Max said as they walked to the cave with their classes.
"Hello!" She echoed her voice in the cavern. "Just listen to those echoes bouncing off the walls! It makes my voice sound better than it does in shower! Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do! I sound just like a Rockstar, don't you think, everyone?" Michelle said, enthusiastically.
"Why is she so sad?" Rex asked.
"I'm not sure. On the bus, we started talking about lizards and she just got really quiet all of a sudden." Zoe said, concerned.
"It's hard being the new kid at school plus she seems really shy." Max said.
"And now kids, time for the most exciting part of our adventure! The highlight of all field trips, my favorite part of the day: Lunch!" Michelle declared.
In another part of the cavern, The Alpha gang was still walking, feeling hungry and tired.
"I'm so hungry. I'm so feel like I'm gonna eat a hamburger." Zander moaned.
"Huh?" Ursula stopped and sniffed something. "Ooh, I think I smell a mirage."
Ed smelled something too. "It's not a mirage! There's definitely food right over there!" He pointed where the smell comes from.
"Let's go!" They head to where the food is.
Terran and Wisp exploring the cavern, looking for the dinosaur.
"That dinosaur is somewhere. It should be here in this cave." He said as they went to further in the cave while tracks the dinosaur with his controller. "I hope the kids gets here quick."
The classes are setting a blankets underneath them for lunch break.
"Yeah, I love lunch break!" Max ate his rice ball.
Zoe looked where Amy is setting a blanket alone by herself.
"Alone again." She said, unpacking her lunch.
"Amy, do you want to come over and eat with us?" Zoe asked.
"Huh." Amy gets up and sees the lizard on the rock. "Hi, little guy. Hey, wait" She followed the lizard.
"Amy, don't go down there!" Zoe followed Amy into the restricted tunnel. "It could be dangerous!"
"Come back!" Amy shouted while following the lizard.
"Amy, where are you going?" She asked.
"Oh, I was after that." Amy pointed at the lizard she's following.
"The lizard? Why?" Zoe inquired.
"Because it kind of reminded me of Hana." She replied.
"Hana?" Zoe said as Amy showed her a picture in her cellphone.
"Hana was my pet iguana. I had to leave him behind when we moved." She explained to Zoe.
"That's so sad." Zoe said, feeling sorry for her before they heard a scream. "That doesn't sound good. Let's go see what's up." They ran back to the classes, but Amy stopped while Zoe went back to the group.
"So, there you are." Amy saw the lizard again before it crawls away in deeper cavern. "Wait, come back!"
Back with the class group, Ursula and Michelle are tugging over the bento boxes.
"Let go of my lunch, whoever you are!" Michelle exclaimed while tugging her lunch.
"Tell her who we are, boys." Ursula told Xander and Ed to introduced themselves.
"Here to harangue…" Zander said.
"A shish-boom-bang…" Ed added.
"...The Alpha Gang!" Ursula finished the sentence.
"Well, is that so? You're no match for Michelle—science teacher and field trip leader of doom. And super perky!" She retorted while introducing herself.
"I like her!" Ed said before getting kicked by Ursula's high heel.
"You know, perky is annoying, and you can stop trying to hide your age with all that young makeup and clothing, old lady." Ursula insulted her, calling her 'old lady'.
"Old lady?! You're so old…you've got Abe Lincoln's picture in your yearbook. How do ya like that?" Michelle insulted her back.
"Oh, is that so? You're so old, you remember when the Dead Sea was just getting sick." She argued.
"Ha ha ha ha! You're so old, I heard you were selling hot-dogs at Custer's last stand." The teacher laughed sarcastically, as Ursula growled while the students watched the commotion as Max gets in front of the group.
"Well, you're so old, the key on Ben Franklin's kite was for your apartment!" Ursula exclaimed.
"Hey, are you on this field trip, too, old lady?" Max asked.
"I am not old and quit calling me that!" Both of them shouted at Max.
"Oh, it's you." Ursula said.
"So you know who this despicable woman is, Max?" Michelle inquired.
"Uh…" Max tried to pretend he doesn't know the Alpha gang.
"Mighty big talk for such a perky little girl!" Ursula remarked.
"Max, look." Rex pointed at the dino-holder in Max's backpack that makes a beeping sound.
"Gimme back my lunchboxes and go back where you came from!" Michelle yelled at her.
"Forget it!" Ursula retorted.
"The dino-holder!" Max said.
The two women is struggling and tugging the lunchboxes until Ursula snatch her lunchboxes.
"Hey!"
"Haha! We'll take it to go if you don't mind!" Ursula said, running off with Ed and Zander in the tunnel.
"Come back here! Whoa!" Michelle tripped on the rock. "No, my delicious lunch! How could you do this to me?!" She cried.
"What is it, guys?" Zoe asked, walking to them.
"According to this, there's a dinosaur right near us." Max replied.
"Then that means Terran must be here as well. He must've detected the dinosaur here too." She mentioned about Terran is here as well.
"So what do we do?" Rex asked.
"What we always do. We have to go and find it." Max said, decided to sneak away from the group to look for the dinosaur.
"Mm-hmm." They agreed.
"Wahh! They took my lunch!" Michelle bawled until she sees Max and his friends sneaking away. "Hey, where are you three think you're are going?!" Making them freeze in tracks. "We need to stick to together more than ever now with the sandwich stealers on the loose!"
"We'll be all right." Max said.
"Hey, you guys. Where did Amy go?" Michelle asked, looked around.
"What? She's gone!" Zoe exclaimed.
Back in the cave tunnel, Amy holds the lizard in her hands.
"It's okay. I won't hurt you." She said to the lizard until she felt the rumble sound. She sees Euoplocephalus walking towards her and falls down, looking at it.
The dinosaur looked at lizard as Amy think it wants to eat it. She got up and gets in front of it.
"Leave him alone!" She stops it as the Euoplocephalus shook its head and licks her. "That kinda tickles!" She giggled.
"So hey, are you all alone here by yourself? Just like me?" She asked. "Are you hungry?" The dinosaur rears up, knowing it hasn't eaten anything while Amy is digging her backpack.
"I still have my whole lunch here. Here, try it and see if you like it." She hands out a lettuce from her sandwich to a dinosaur, who eats it. "What do you think?"
Euoplocephalus bellowed as if it likes it.
"You like it. That's good. Here, take the rest of it." Amy said, handing out her lunch.
"Amy!"
"Say something!"
"Where did you go?!"
Amy heard the voices from her class group and Euoplocephalus steps back from the sound.
The entire class is calling out to Amy as they're looking for her.
"Those evil lunch looters got Amy. I just know it! They came for grub and they got that poor girl." Michelle thinks the Alpha gang kidnapped Amy. "What do I do now?! What do I do now?!"
"Now's our chance." Max said, using its chance to look for Terran, Amy, and a dinosaur.
"Okay, let's go." Zoe said, as they sneak into the restricted cave tunnel where Amy went.
"You want to stay away from people, don't you?" Amy asked.
The Euoplocephalus grunted as it bothers by the sounds of people.
"Okay, follow me." She led the dinosaur away from them.
Back with the Alpha gang, they set their lunch boxes down and gets ready to eat.
"Alright, gather around. It's lunch time!" Ursula said, unwrapped the Michelle's lunch boxes.
"I hope its cheeseburgers with French fries and a pickle." Zander hoped.
"I hope it's a big fat steak." Ed hoped.
"Huh?!" They all gasped as they find a boxes of rice and cookies.
"Are you kidding? Just rice." Zander said.
"There's cookies for dessert." Ed added. "I'll eat it."
"Well, if were hungry enough, we could pretend it was cheeseburgers." Ursula said.
"Well, I'm hungry enough." Zander said
The Alpha gang begin eating the lunch they stole...
"Me too!" She said while eating until she heard a beeping sound. "Huh, what now?" She picks up her Alpha scanner and answer it...
"What's going on there?! You've been in that cave for two days! Where's my dinosaur?!" Dr. Z exclaimed.
"If I knew, I'd barbeque it." She said, harshly and hangs up before resume eating.
Back with the D-team, the kids brings out their dinosaurs and ran to look for Amy.
"This is the direction Amy went. I just hope she didn't run into the dinosaur." Zoe said, hoping Amy doesn't run into the dinosaur.
"The signals coming from right up ahead." Max informed them.
Suddenly, they've bumped into Terran and Wisp on their way.
"Hey! Watch it!" Max exclaimed. "Oh, it's just you." He sees Terran.
"Hey, what are you kids doing here?" Terran asked.
"I was gonna ask you the same thing." He said.
"Same way as you kids do. Looking for the dinosaur." He showed them his controller map.
"Terran, have you seen Amy? She's in this cave somewhere." Zoe asked.
"Who?" Terran asked.
"The new girl from our class and she got lost in the cave." She explained.
"Well, no. But come to think of it, I heard a voice coming from the direction I was going and also heard an animal sound like they were close." Terran said.
"That's Amy! We have to find her and fast!" She said.
"Then we better move now." Rex said.
The D-team and Terran moved fast through the cave.
In the cave tunnel, Amy and Euoplocephalus stumbled upon the pond of water.
"It's beautiful." Amy said as Euoplocephalus drinks the water and bumped into the rock when raising its head. "Oh, poor thing. I'll bet that really hurt. Heal. I know, that didn't help much did it?"
The dinosaur nuzzled her as she laughed. Euoplocephalus looks at her in concerned.
"Gentle eyes. My best friend, Hana, had eyes just like yours." Amy sobbed. The Euoplocephalus is comforting that she misses her pet iguana.
Meanwhile, The Alpha gang is finished eating all the lunch as the lunch boxes is empty.
"I'm alive again!" Ursula said, happily.
"That was the best imaginary cheeseburger I never had." Zander said, feeling full.
"And the little cookies were perfect end." Ed added, rubbing his belly.
They heard a beeping noise. "Oh yeah." She pulls out her Alpha scanner and answer it.
"URSULA!" Dr. Z yelled at her, making her flinched by his outburst. "How dare you hang up on me?! I sent you there on an important mission!"
"We're fully aware of that, doctor. But it's hard to do evil on an empty stomach." Ursula assured him.
"You know it's going to be even harder when I replace you three slugs with droids!" He said, threatening.
"Hugh!" They gasped.
"Now go get that dinosaur or that cave will be your final resting place!" Dr. Z ordered them.
"Alpha gang, out!" The trio saluted.
Back with the D-team and Terran, they ventured deeper in the cave with Max's visor lights.
"It's like a maze here." Rex said.
"Yeah, I know. How are we supposed to know which way to go?" Max asked.
"Just pick one." Zoe told him.
"The dinosaur should be near, but where is it?" Terran said, checking the scans on his wrist controller.
"I'll use instinct!" Max said, before they slipped on the slope tunnel until they landed where Amy and Euoplocephalus is.
"So much for your instinct." Zoe remarked to Max.
"At least we found the dinosaur." Terran said, looking at the dinosaur.
"Oh, Hi there, Zoe." Amy said, seeing Zoe.
"Amy, look out!" Zoe exclaimed.
"Whoa, a Euoplocephalus!" Rex observed.
"Amy, you need to get away from that dinosaur! It's dangerous!" She warned Amy.
"Don't worry about that. He wouldn't hurt me." Amy hugged its head. "See, he and I are really good friends."
"Wow, you are?" Zoe said, surprise.
"What now?" Rex said.
"How are we supposed to turn it back to the card with her in the way?" Terran asked.
"That's a good question." Max admitted.
"Amy, I think we should get back to the group." Zoe said.
"But Hana is all alone here." Amy said, petting it. "I can't abandon it."
"Amy..." She said, unable to how to explain her.
"Well, just look what we have here. How convenient." Ursula piped in as the Alpha gang arrived.
"It's the old lady." Max said.
"Would you quit calling me that?!" Ursula exclaimed as Ed and Zander holding her back. "I'll make you pay for that, but I got work to do!" She pulls out her Alpha scanner and Spiny's card. "And now, Spinosaurus, Go!" She slides the card on her scanner. Spiny is summoned in full-sized Spinosaurus.
Spiny landed on the ground as the battlefield takes place.
"Whoa, no way!" Amy said in surprised as Euoplocephalus is armed for fight.
"Amy, you're too close to him!" Zoe told her.
"Yeah, but I wanna-" She said, wanting to stay with it.
"Amy, trust us. You don't want to get in the middle of a fight here. It's not safe." Terran reasoned before Michelle and her class shows up in the battlefield.
"Hey, what's going on? What are you kids doing down there?!" She exclaimed.
"Rats! The whole class is here now!" Max said,
"Who is that?" Terran asked.
"Our teacher." The kids said.
Euoplocephalus keeps Spiny at bay with its clubbed tail, then rams him!
"Ohh, this is not good! This is just not a positive teaching situation at all!" Michelle ranted. "Wait, just think I'm a teacher here! This is why I get paid the small bucks!" She started lecturing while trying to ignore the dinosaur battle. "If George Washington were here, he cut down the cherry tree and no, no, that doesn't make any sense. Why not Albert Einstein? We could certainly all learn from that guy! Maybe not in this situation. Well, if David Crockett showed up, he lassoed those critters! Come on, kids! Climb up where its safe, we'll help you up!" There was a cave-in and they flee from it. "You're on your own!"
"Seriously, what's with that teacher?" Terran thought, sweat-dropped.
When Spiny attacks again, Euoplocephalus swings around, knocking Spiny away with its tail. Seeing that the battle is starting to cause a minor cave-in that's threatening Amy. The Euoplocephalus activate the move card by forming a crystal blade on its tail and slice Spiny, weaken it.
"Hey, what was that move?" Ed asked.
"That dinosaur used Quake Saber." Zander replied.
"I want to see a powerful counter-attack, Spiny or else none of us are getting out of this cave!" Ursula ordered as Spiny roared in compliant and smashes the ceiling with his tail, causing more rocks to fall.
Amy ducked from the falling rocks, but Euoplocephalus protects Amy from the debris.
"Oh, you're protecting me, aren't you?" Amy said as the dinosaur looked down.
"Not for long, Shockwave!" Ursula slashed the move card on her scanner.
Spiny roared as the water is spiraling from the grounds and fires the tendrils at Euoplocephalus, who attacks him with Quake saber again, but Shockwave cancels out the attack and sends it flying, crashes into Amy, who flies away from it.
"No!" Rex jumps in, catching her before landing on the ground.
"That was awesome, Rex. Is she alright?" Zoe asked as Terran went check on them.
"Yeah, she's fine. It looks like she's fainted." Rex replied.
"She's not in danger at least." Terran added.
Spiny came over and rams Euoplocephalus three times, defeating it.
"We did it!" Ursula said while they ran over to retrieve the cards. "Now let's hurry up and grab that cards!"
"Sorry, you're too slow." Max picked up the cards before the Alpha gang get to it.
"Hey, we earned that card fair and square!" She exclaimed.
"That's a laugh and now you're gonna pay for what you did to Amy!" Zoe said, angrily before turning Paris into the card and zaps to her hand. "Go! Dino Slash!" She swipes the card to her dino-holder. "Parasaurolophus, Bloom!" Paris is summoned in full-sized Parasaurolophus.
Paris lands in front of the Alpha gang, who was frightened by angry Parasaurolophus.
"Come on, Spiny! We need help!" Ursula calls out Spiny, who roars and charged after Paris
"Metal Wing!" Zoe slashed her move card as three Pteranodons is summoned in battle. They flew down towards the Alpha gang, who screams and runs from them.
"They're coming this way!" Ursula exclaimed while running.
The Pteranodons swoops down start pecking them as they run.
Spiny tries to attack Paris, but she uses her crest to send out super-loud sound waves that cause the ceiling over Spiny to partially collapse, and he is defeated by a mass of falling rocks and boulders.
"That did it!" Zoe said.
"Yeah, way to go!" Max said.
"My poor Spiny!" She ran to grabbed Spiny as the Pteranodon pecks her. "Leave me alone! Stop pecking me!" The Pteranodon chased the Alpha Gang out of the cavern.
They and Paris are turned back into the cards and zaps to Zoe.
"Hey, Amy." Zoe called here to wake up. "You're safe. It's all over with."
"Where's Hana?" Amy said, looking around for the dinosaur.
"The Euoplocephalus is a..." Rex explained.
"Don't worry, he's fine. I know for certain he wasn't hurt." Zoe finished his explaining.
"That's good, but do you know where he went?" She asked.
"Well, he um..." Zoe said.
"He went somewhere so he could be with his friends." Rex finished her explaining.
"Yes, he must've gotten lost and somehow went to look for its own kind." Terran added.
"That's a relief. For him." Amy said, feeling sad. "But it means I'm alone again."
"Wrong! You have me." Zoe said.
"Really, Zoe?" She said.
"Yeah." Zoe replied.
"I'm so glad!" Amy takes her hand as friendship.
A few minutes later, the kids return to Michelle and her class while Terran went back to the D-lab.
"Alright, listen up everybody! Let's review what we saw in the cave today and what do we see: Some rocks, some stalactites, then we had a little lunch and that's about all. Everybody got it." Michelle said, forgetting what they saw in the cave. "Anything else you might be thinking of shall now be erase from your memory. Zoe's residence
The lizard that Amy found was put in the box for her to care for.
"Make sure it doesn't get too much ultraviolet light. Use a heater to keep it warm and you should mist it with water every day." Reese informed Amy to keep the lizard safe and healthy while the kids and Terran watched.
"Sure likes lizard, doesn't she?" Max said.
"The important thing is she's a lot happier now than before." Rex said.
"Of course, everyone needs friends." Zoe said.

"Oh, you're very welcome." She said.
"So, Amy. Any ideas about what you're gonna name him?" Zoe asked her.
"Oh, yeah." She held it up. "Say hello to Hana the Third." She named the lizard after her last pet and dinosaur.
