Ruff and Ready
On the bridge with the battle going on, Ursula ran with Ed and Zander in chokehold as Spiny is behind them
"Stay away!" She shrieked as they were chased by electric charged Chomp.
Ursula ran faster and Chomp hits Spiny from behind, sending him flying into the Alpha Gang.
"Don't fall on us, Spiny!" Ursula yelled, "We're on your side!"
Spiny landed on them, flattened them like pancakes as the dinosaur returns to his cards.
"We blew it again." They moaned and retreated.
Chomp watches them go as Terran holds the Gastonia card.
At Zeta Point, Dr. Z was very angry and upset at their failure to acquire the dinosaur card.
"You failed!?" He screeched. "You three blockheads do absolutely nothing for me! Why do I even bother keeping you around!?"
The Alpha Gang inflates and sits up to face him.
"Oh well, that's because we…" Ursula begins.
"I wasn't really asking!" Dr. Z said. "You three are in doghouse so now you can act like dogs!"
"Dogs? For real?" She blanked.
"Lovable kind, right?" Zander asked.
Dr. Z kicked him to the wall in response.
"The kind that bark!" He said and looked at Ursula.
"Woof, woof, woof, woof, woof, woof." She barked like a dog.
"How long will you have to stay dogs?"
She whines while nodding.
"Until I decide whether to keep you or not." Dr. Z said.
"For what?" They gasped.
"Shake!"
Ursula barked as she shake his hand like a dog would do, much to Zander and Ed's awkwardness.
"Now speak!"
Ed howled like a dog.
"Now, sit up and beg!"
Zander sit up and whimpered like a dog.
"At least this dog you obey orders."
The trio whined as they couldn't take this punishment. Ursula barked and begged to Dr. Z.
"How long until you get to be people again? Not until you finally succeed in collecting some of dinosaur cards." Dr. Z said. "Until then, it's dog chow in the doghouse!"
The Alpha Gang whimpered and howled in displeasure.

At the dining room, the table was filled with gourmet food for them.
"Looks delicious, Helga." Dr. Z said.
"Bon Appetit!" They said.
The Alpha Gang, however, gets the doggy bowl instead from the table.
"You three will be enjoying a special menu from know on." Helga said, pouring bones on the bowl.
The trio whined while begging.
"Bones are not only high in nutrition; they'll keep your coats nice and shiny." She said, firmly.
The Alpha Gang chew the bones as they whimpered.
"And grandpa had us build you each your very own doghouse out in the back yard too." Rod mentioned.
"Sort of like a beach house without the beach." Laura added.
The Alpha Gang is whining more that they have their own doghouse.
The trio went out to see their three doghouses.
"What!? We're supposed to live in these things?" Ursula said.
"Shh! We're only allowed to woof and bark, remember?" Zander shushed as Ed inspect the doghouses.
"Who cares?"
"Guys, these dog houses are great!" Ed said.
"What!?"
"He's right, Ursula. It's nice in here. There are even doggy jammies for us to wear." Zander said, looking at the stuff in the dog house.
"Huh, you're right!" Ursula said.
"And dog biscuits! My favorite kind!" Ed exclaimed.
"A little bed is so cute."
"There's a TV too." Zander said as they crawled in.
"You know, some paint and new curtains and this could be nice." Ursula said.
"Now this is a dog's life."
Without knowing, Dr. Z is behind them and shuts the door behind them.
"Hey, who shut the door? Open up!"
"I'm locked in!" Zander shouted. "Help!"
"Turn on the lights!" Ed cried.
"Did you think you're just going to lounge around in there?" Dr. Z said. "I'm sending you to get dinosaur cards and don't let me down!"
"Huh?!" They gasped as the smoke is coming around them.
"What's going on now?" Ursula yelled.
It reveals that they're on top of the rocket.
"This rocket has just enough fuel to get you to where the dinosaur card is!" Dr. Z said. "So once you crash, get to work!"
"Crash!?" They yelled.
"Dr. Z, the Alpha Scanner!" Zander yelled as the rocket took off.
"All right! Rod, throw!" Dr. Z told his grandson.
Rod throws the Alpha Scanner at them.
"Bring me that card or don't bother coming back!"
The Alpha Scanner hit Ursula and the booster detached itself as the main rocket blast away.
The Rocket flies over the desert with some green plant life and the mountain.
"The fuel's gone! We're going down!" Zander wailed.
The rocket flies past the mountain and crash landed in the desert. The Rocket tipped over and fell as the kangaroo hopped away from it.
"Call Dr. Z, I have a bone to pick." Ursula moaned.
Right by them, the dinosaur capsule opens and the wind blew the dinosaur card to the bush. The dinosaur card glows and reveals a dinosaur called, Iguanodon. The dinosaur bellowed and approached the Alpha Gang. It licked Ursula, making here half awake to see the dinosaur.
Thinking it was a dream, Ursula fell back to sleep.
At Taylor's residence, Zoe is showing the boys her sash with Paris.
"Look guys! These great pet sashes are the latest thing in our shop." She said. "Aren't they just adorable?"
"Are you kidding me?" Max said.
"You'll never catch me wearing one." Rex said.
"What do you know? Well Paris and I love it because now I can take her with me wherever I go and she'll never get tired out." Zoe exclaimed.
"It's pretty silly looking if you ask me." Max said.
Chomp leapt out and chirped about the animal sashes.
"Yeah? Looks like Chomp disagrees with you."
Chomp jumps and grabs on the sashes, but Paris slaps him away from it.
"Guess, he knows a good thing when he sees it." She said as Paris huffed. "Maybe you ought to get one after all, Max."
"No way." He protested as his mom came in.
"Oh, what a darling little pet carrier." She said.
"I know. Isn't it great?" She smile.
"It reminds me of the one I had. I used one just like it to carry Max." She said as Max was irked by it.
"Really? What do you know?" Zoe grinned, snootily at Max.
"Yeah? So what's the big deal?" He said.
"When he was fussy, I'd put him inside and he'd fall right asleep." Aki said. "Because of the heartbeat, it is a very calming sound for little babies."
"Why the heartbeat?" Zoe asked.
"Because of the sound they hear before they're born is the mother's heartbeat. So that soothes them and tells them everything is alright."
"That makes sense." She said and Paris chirped.
"It's hard to believe when I look at him now." Aki said as Max twiddle his fingers, "There was a time Max fit in that sash. Such a cute baby. Wonder what happened."
She noticed that Rex is in melancholy mood.
"Oh my, are you embarrassed?" She smiled as she forced Max to smile by pulling his face. "Let's see you smile, Maximus."
"Huh?" Rex said.
"Maximus?" Zoe said, surprised.
"You promised you'd never call me that again." Max said, embarrassed by his real name.
"How about I make you kids some lunch now?" She suggested.
"Yeah!" Rex said, before he hears the alarm.
Rex looked at his dino holder and shows the dinosaur is in Australia.
"Uh oh. Ms. Taylor? Can we wait and have lunch later?"
"Okay."
The kids headed to the D-Lab as Reese and Terran looks at the monitor.
"The dinosaur appeared in central Australia near a place called Ayers Rock, which is also known as Uluru." She said.
"Ayers Rock?" Terran repeated.
"Uluru?" Max repeated.
"I've heard about that." Rex said.
"Yes. It's one of Australia's most recognizable natural icons." Dr. Taylor said, "When the light changes at sunrise and sunset, the color of the rock changes with it."
"Cool!" Zoe said.
"Australia is full of plants and animals that are unique in the world and some of them look almost prehistoric. Plus, some are just so cute. In fact, while you're there take some pictures for me, okay?"
He then noticed Terran and the kids left while he explained.
"Huh?!"
"They've been gone for a while now, doctor." Reese said.
"What!?"
Meanwhile, the Alpha Gang hiked in the heated desert as Ursula used the stick to hike, not knowing where they going.
"Hugh, where in the world are we?" Ursula groaned while asking.
"Well, it's hot enough to be in Africa but it could be Death Valley too." Ed said, holding the cloth on his face.
"The Alpha scanner showed Australia before we crashed but now it doesn't work." Zander said, holding his Alpha scanner.
"That's just great. So now we can't even call for help." She said. "Not like anyone cares about us enough to come save us anyway."
Ed groaned from sun's heat. "I'm so thirsty I could a mud puddle."
"Yeah? How about I get you a soda at the next mini mall?" Ursula said, sarcastically.
She sees something crawling on the ground
"A frilled lizard."
A lizard hissed at them while spreading the frill cover.
"I've never seen one before."
"Maybe it knows where the mini mall is." Ed said as the frilled lizard scampered away.
They yelped to see another large lizard.
"And that's a monitor lizard." She said, "This place is crawling with creatures."
"And each one that goes by gets larger." Zander said as the monitor lizard crawls away.
"Hmm… Hugh!" They said, spotted the Iguanodon passing by them.
"Wow, I guess it's true what they say. Everything in Australia is bigger." Ursula said.
"Too bad they're not bigger on drinking fountains." Zander said.
"I know. I'm about to burst in flame." Ed moaned as they continued to walk.
"Yeah, and I'm starting to see things." She said.
She turned to see the Iguanodon and realized it's a dinosaur.
"That's no lizard!"
"It's an Iguanodon!" Ed and Zander said.
The dinosaur motioned them to follow it as if it was trying to lead them somewhere.
"Huh?"
"Hmm. Got a crick in its neck." Zander said.
"I think it's telling us to follow it." Ed said.
"What have we got to lose?" She said.
"Yeah, that's true." They said, following the dinosaur.
A few minutes later, Iguanodon led the Alpha Gang to the oasis.
"Oh, it's water! Beautiful water!" Ursula gasped.
They ran towards the oasis and Ursula splash herself in water.
"I could drink the whole thing!" Ed said while drinking the water.
Zander was swimming in the oasis as Iguanodon is drinking the water.
"Iguanadon? Leading us here saved our lives?" She said. "Thank you."
"Um, you don't think it was coincidence?" Zander questioned as he floats by her.
The dinosaur licked her face.
"Hey! Stop that!" She laughed. "Those tickles."
"It does seem to be pretty attached to you, Ursula." Zander noted. "Maybe he thinks you're his mom or something."
"Huh, Nah!" She shrugged as the Iguanodon walks off. "Now where is he going?"
"Shouldn't we catch him before he leaves?" Ed asked.
"Of course, we should! We came here for a dinosaur and here he is!" Zander exclaimed. "So all we have to do is turn him into a card and we could quit being the doctor's dog."
"But how do we do that when the Alpha Scanner is broken and there's no way to get Terry or Spiny out here to fight with him?" Ursula said.
"You have a point here."
"I say we follow him. After all, he's brought us good luck so far."
Ursula got up and ran towards the dinosaur before hopping on it.
"Well, that wasn't this nice."
"Hey, that looks a whole lot better than walking." Zander said.
"Yeah! All aboard the Iguanodon!" Ed said before they ran towards them.
When Ed and Zander towards the dinosaur to hop on, they ended up bumping each other when the dinosaur lifted its head up.
"He says there's no room for you too." Ursula giggled.
At Zeta's point, Dr. Z tried to contact his lackeys, but no response from them. Not knowing their Alpha Scanner is broken when they crash landed.
"I've been trying to contact Ursula and those slackers for hours! Why don't they answer?" Dr. Z said, looking at the holoscreen.
"It would appear their Alpha Scanner has been damaged." Seth assumed.
"What?"
"And without it, they won't be able to capture any dinosaurs."
"How typical of these numbskulls! Going on a mission with a broken Alpha Scanner!" He ranted. "When they come back this time around, they won't even get dog food! They'll get lower than dog food!"
"You mean if they come back." Seth said, making him stop ranting. "The way you treated them, they may not return. I know that I wouldn't."
Seth's reasoning made Dr. Z think that he mistreated them too harshly for failing capturing a dinosaur.
"You're right, Seth." He said. "We better go after them."
"What?"
"I've been too hard on them." Dr. Z sobbed, quietly. "I've got to bring them home."
"You told them not to come back without a dinosaur card, didn't you?" Seth mentioned.
"Huh! Yes, but who else would take in those three fools? Hmm?"
"You have a point there."
A while later, Terran and the kids visit the Australia petting zoo.
"Look Max, how cute." Zoe said, holding the Koala.
"Oh wow!" Max amazed as Ace chases the young kangaroo.
"Come back here, Ace!" Rex said, chasing after him.
Terran was checking his control gauntlet to track down the dinosaur.
Chomp looks at the Kangaroo, but mostly the pouch. He hops on it, trying to get in.
"No Chomp! That pouch isn't for you!" Max said as the baby kangaroo punches the baby triceratops away.
"Look! Even this little Sugar Glider has a pouch on its stomach." Rex said, holding the small animal.
"No way!" Zoe said.
"That's so cool!" Max said.
"Animals with pouches are called Marsupials and they're mostly extinct on other continents, but not here in Australia. Animals here seem to have a unique evolutionary pattern." Rex explained as Ace interacts the Tasmanian Devils, Paris is harmonizing with Cassowaries, Chomp rest with the Wombats, and Wisp drinks the pond with the Platypus and Echidnas.
"Wow." She said before they left the petting zoo.
"So a dinosaur walking around here might not seem that strange, you know." Max said.
"Yeah."
Back with the Alpha Gang and the Iguanodon, they traveled in the village as Ed and Zander grew tired of walking.
"Oh, my aching feet." They moaned, tiredly.
It was until the villagers came out and welcomes them.
"We've never seen anybody riding the top of lizard before."
"Huh? It's not a lizard, you know." Ursula said, "It's a…"
"Wow!"
"They're lizard charmers!"
"Fantastic!"
"We're what now? What? Huh?" Ursula said, confused.
The village leaders steps through to greet them.
"We welcome you to our humble village, strangers." He said.
"Oh. Well. Thank you." She said.
"Come. Please follow me."
"Yeah."
They began following him.
"You must be tired after your long journey." He said.
"Actually, I felt great." She said.
At the Ayers Rock, Terran and the kids is at the Ayers Rock.
"Woah! So this is the famous Ayers Rock." Max said.
"It really is huge." Zoe said, admiring it.
"Hard to believe it's all one big rock, isn't it?" Rex said.
"I say we tried climbing it."
"No, Max." Rex said.
"We're here to look for the dinosaur." Zoe reminded.
"Right! So why don't we look for it from way up there?" Max decided.
"Oh! Good idea!" Zoe agreed, making Rex moaned in disbelief.
On top of Ayers Rock, Ed and Zander is selling out the beverages for tourists.
"Water for sales!" Zander called. "Come and get your water!"
"Frozen tangerines and ice cream too!" Ed called.
They sighed in exhaustion.
"How did we get stuck selling stuff while Ursula gets treated like royalty?!" Zander complained.
"It's not fair!" Ed complained.
"Hey! Watch what you say about Ursula!"
They flinched and turned to the couple of villagers.
"Your boss lady told us you two rank below dogs and we can treat you any way we like!"
They shrieked in fear about what Ursula told them.
"So if you planning to live in this village, mates, then you should also plan on working."
"We're living in this village?!" They exclaimed.
"Did Ursula say that?" Zander asked.
"Yeah. She's really quite amazing she is." He said, "And the way she communicates with that big lizard is beyond belief!"
"With Ursula living in our villager now, we're bound to always be safe. Now go on and sell your things."
They left as Zander and Ed was in disbelief that they didn't get to eat something.
"I guess we don't have any choice." Zander sighed. "Looks like we'll have to perform tricks for them or we won't get to eat."
"Like a couple of stray dogs." Ed whined.
"Excuse me, could you have some water, please?"
"Yes sir!" They beamed.
"How about some ice cream or fruit?" Ed offered.
Ed and Zander soon realized the voice came from the D-team and Terran. Both sides gasped in shocked.
"You guys again?" Terran said.
"It's the Alpha Gang creeps!" Zoe said.
"So the dinosaur must be around here, right?" Rex assumed.
"We don't know anything!" They panicked. "No dinosaur around here!"
They lose the beverage packs and ran away, but instead, they forgot that they're on the Ayers Rock and falls down to the ground below. As they're on the ground, the Alpha Scanner was dropped on the ground and it functions.
"Hey!" Ed said
"It's working again!" Zander noted.
As they said, the beverage pack falls on them.
At the village, Ursula and the Iguanodon help the villagers in the field.
"Just a little bit more now. One big pull!" Ursula cheered as the Iguanodon pulls the boulder out. "That's the way!"
"Fantastic!" The leader said.
"Thanks to you, we can plant on this field."
"Don't thank me. Thank my friend here." She said as Iguanodon chirped.
The dinosaur then nuzzled her.
"Oh. Iguanodon. You're just a big softy, aren't you?" She said, sweetly. "I never thought of them this way. I just saw dinosaurs as cards. Not loving living creatures."
She looked at the deserts as the sun sets at the horizon.
"Maybe I'll stay here and never go back." She decided.
(Flashback)
"You're all dogs!" Dr. Z said, punishing them.
(Flashback ends)
"If I take you back to Dr. Z's laboratory, he would treat you worse than he treats the three of us." She sighed, "You're definitely better off here."
She spotted something in the sky and it was the Alpha Jet.
"What do you think you're doing, Ursula?" Seth questioned.
"Seth, no!" She yelled as the jet swoops near them and scaring the villagers.
"Now capture that dinosaur!"
"Wait! You don't understand!"
"Are you defying the doctor's orders?" Seth turns the jet around.
Ursula stood there for a moment before answering him.
"Yes, I am! I've decided that I'm going to stay right here!" She exclaimed. "I've had enough of being treated like some kind of animal by Dr. Z. I'm never going back to that island again!"
"Ursula, do you really mean that?" Zander and Ed said, who happen to show and heard what she said to Seth.
"You guys can go back if you want. It's… it's up to you."
"I guess we have to choice to make." Zander said to Ed.
"You choose. I always pick the wrong one." He said.
Seth swoops down near them and scaring Iguanodon.
"Stop that! Don't attack!" She yelled at Seth.
The Iguanodon bellowed and went on the rampage as it rans and wreaking havoc on the village. It bangs its head against the rock until it knocks down.
"The lizard's gone mad!" The leader gasped.
"Do something, Ursula!"
"Okay." She turns to Ed and Zander. "So don't just stand there. Think of something and make me look good!"
"Okay, I have an idea." Zander said, pulling out the Alpha Scanner.
As Seth circles around the dinosaur, he sees something shining on the rock that Iguanodon knocked down and it was the card.
"Alpha Slash!" Zander slashed the card on the Alpha scanner.
Terry was summoned in full-sized T-Rex and the Time warp battlefield changes. Terry attacks the dinosaur by charging and slamming it.
"Augh! Did you have to hit him so hard?" Ursula chided Zander, who flinched.
Iguanodon gets back up and rams Terry back.
"Volcano Burst!" Zander slashed the move card. "This should take him out and he'll never know what's hit him."
Terry gathers the flames in his jaws and spews, erupting it underground and scorched Iguanodon as the D-team and Terran ran to the battlefield.
"It's an Iguanodon!" Max said, spotted it.
"But Terry's gonna beat him!" Rex said.
"Oh yeah?" Zoe took her sash off and pulls out her dino holder. "Dino Slash!" She swipe the card on her dino holder. "Spring up, Parasaurolophus!"
Paris transformed to full-sized Parasaurolophus.
Paris ran to the battlefield.
"Oh no! Now the brats are involved!" Ed cried.
"Hmm…" Terra spotted the jet as it landed near the rock and saw the familiar man from Therizinosaurus incident, coming out of it. 'That man… from my nightmare.'
The android ran to investigate and sees him.
"Terran, where are you going?" Rex said, but the robot ran off.
"Oh Iguano! Please be all right!" Ursula ran to the scorched dinosaur as she consoles it. "I'm so sorry, Iguano!"
"Ursula, you've gotta get out of the way!" Zander yelled.
Ursula turned to see Terry is coming for the dinosaur, but she couldn't leave it.
"Metal Wing!" Zoe swipes the move card.
Three Pteranodons flies up and swoops down towards Terry and knocks him away from Ursula and Iguanodon.
"Iguanodon!" She sobbed as the dinosaur has turned back into the card and she caught it. "I'll take care of you."
The Pteranodons circles around Terry as he tried to attack them.
"Gotta get those birds off of Terry!" Ed said.
"Tail Smash!" Zander slashed the move card.
Terry roared as the Pteranodons comes flying towards him and he knocks them out of the sky, defeating them.
"Oh no!" Zoe cried.
"Let's go, Chomp!" Max turns him into card and slashed the card. "Dino Slash! Go Triceratops, Roar!"
Chomp turns into full-size Triceratops.
Terry used the Volcano Burst on Chomp, who is charging towards him.
"You're ready for this?" Max opens the dino holder and shoots up the move card. "Thunder Bazooka!"
Chomp jumps in the air, dodging the Volcano Burst, and spins around as he gathers the electricity around his body while shot forward and rammed Terry, sending him flying through the several boulders, defeating him.
"I got you, Terry!" Ed catches the card.
Paris and Chomp stood there, victorious as the battlefield vanished back to the desert.
Back at the rock, Seth arrives and took the card out of the rock.
"Velociraptor!" He gasped before smirking and hiding it without telling anyone.
Unfortunately, Terran spied on Seth from behind the rock and sees that he has another card that nobody noticed him.
'That guy again. He found a Velociraptor card and no one knows it?' He thought as Seth went back to the Alpha Jet.
"Good job. Now we don't have to act like dogs anymore." Zander said.
"I won't miss the dog food but do you think Dr. Z will let us keep our doghouses?" Ed said.
They turned to the villagers who are very angry and upset.
"Your key to the village has been revoked and we must ask you to leave now." The leader requested.
"What!?" Ursula said.
"Your big lizard knocked over my house!"
"But I don't want to go home! I want to stay and be a villager."
"No!" Ed and Zander said.
"Don't say that!" Ed said.
"You gotta come!" Zander urged.
They turned to see Seth is about to take off.
"Wait! You can't leave without us!" They grabbed Ursula and ran to the Alpha Jet.
"Hey! No! Let go of me!" She protested as they grabbed hold of the Jet.
The D-team watched as Terran soon joins the kids.
'My sweet Iguano. I can't take you with me. You deserve better than that.' Ursula said, mentally and lets go of the card. "Whoops, oh look at that. I dropped the card."
"What!?" They cried.
"How could you?!" Zander said
"Now we have to go back to dog bones!" Ed whined.
"I'm sorry." She said as Seth heads back to the Zeta Point.
"Woof, woof…" They barked.
The card falls to the D-team and Terran catches the card.
"All right! We got the Iguanodon card!" Max exclaimed.
Terran looks to where the Alpha jet flew, pondering about Seth and the card he found.
"I can't go back to speaking doggish, it hurts my brain." Ed complained.
"And I can't stretch out inside my doghouse." Zander added.
"So what choice do we have? No other villains are hiring." Ursula said, "We'll just tell him there was no card in Australia."
Seth chuckled, quietly as he holds the Velociraptor card, meaning he has plans for them.
At nighttime in Taylor's residence, Max was holding Chomp with the sash that Zoe showed from noon while everyone watched him.
"No way! This doesn't work, Chomp so forget it. You're too heavy to carry around." Max protested, but Chomp said otherwise as he slumped on it.
"He seems pretty comfortable in that sling thing." Rex said as Chomp bit Max's nose.
"You'll get used to it, Max." Aki told her son.
"I don't want get used to it. Do I look like a Kangaroo?" Max protested.
At Zeta Point, Dr. Z was even more furious of their failure of catching the Iguanodon card.
"We're sorry, Dr. Z." They bow, apologetically.
"What could the sorry do for me?!" Dr. Z snapped, "Well, since zero dinosaur cards is what you brought me, then zero meals is what you three mutts will get from now-"
"I will not allow that, doctor." He stopped ranting and sees a sterned Helga, "That is enough with treating them like dogs."
"Yeah!" The Alpha Gang beamed.
"Here is your supper!" Helga toss the doggy bowl to them with three dog kibbles in it.
"But… that's still dog chow."
"I will not waste leftover so these three morsels are what you get." Helga said, firmly. "Go on! Eat up!"
Ursula gobbled the three kibbles quickly, much to Ed and Zander's surprise.
"Hey!" They said.
