The Third Cosmo Stone
Terran and the kids are calling out to Sanzo Hoshi.
"Sanzo, where are you?!" Max shouted.
"Sanzo, can you hear me?" Rex called.
"Great, now we don't know where he is." Terran sighed. "I think he doesn't want to be a burden to us."
"Strange that he didn't even say goodbye." Zoe said.
"Yeah.." Max said.
While Zoe wanders off, she falls off the edge of the cliff.
"Zoe!" Max said.
They went to see her, only it's five feet to the ground.
"Zoe?"
"You're okay." Rex said.
"You're not hurt, are you?" Terran asked.
"No, I'm not." She said with uncomfortable look.
"You look okay." Rex said.
"Let me put it this way." Zoe said, "I not only found out which way Sanzo went, I also found out out which way his horse went."
It turns out she landed on the horse's… leavings, making the boys fall down, comically while Terran tilted his head.
"Looks like the trail leads to that mountain up ahead." Rex said, noticed the horse's footprint.
"We gotta hurry up and find him before the space pirates get him." Max said as they look up to the mountain.

Sanzo was riding on a horse in the heat of desert.
'Don't concentrate on fighting the heat!' Sanzo said himself, mentally. 'It's impossible to fight the heat! You must.. instead become one with the heat.'
He keeps going under the extreme heat.
"Oh, I'm so faint, I'm gonna pass out about to…" He slaps his face to keep it together. "Come on, Sanzo. Keep it together."
It was until Gabbro returns and found him.
"Going somewhere, Sanzo?" He said. "You're a tough guy to find, you know that?"
"You're one of those Space Pirates!" He said. "Look, thre's no need for us to fight, I'm certain all can be solved if we work together!"
"Work together? I don't think so. You're going to be doing all the work because you're the special monk with the special powers!"
"No, please, we can resolve this!"
"Come on, little monk." Gabbro then took him. "You got a big rock to move. After all, it's the only thing standing between me and the third Cosmos Stone!"
Meanwhile, Terran and the kids started climbing up the mountain.
"This is why they have those signs on hiking trails that say 'For your safety, stay on the path'." Max said.
"We won't be able to catch Sanzo if we take the main path." Rex said, "It's quicker to just go straight up."
"Guys, wouldn't it be quicker to just summon a Pteranodon, hop on its back, and fly up?" Zoe suggested.
"Yeah, but Zoe, if we fly up on a dinosaur, the Space Pirates might see us." He argued.
"Right, and since they're looking for Sanzo too, they might follow us and could end up finding Sanzo before we do!" Max said.
They heard a scream and saw Gabbro with screaming Sanzo as they fly up.
"I know that scream."
"Yeah, it's Sanzo's!" Zoe said.
"So much for finding him first." Rex said.
"Keep climbing, we could still confront them and make them tell us where your parents are." Terran said, urging them to keep going.
On the mountain, Dr. Z is still stuck hanging between the wedge of rocks.
"Would somebody please get me down from here?!" He yelled until Gabbro came back with Sanzo Hoshi. "Okay, you've made your point! I shouldn't have pretended to be Sanzo! Now let me down, I beg you!"
"I can help. Just hang tight for a bit." Sanzo said.
"I've been hanging tight!" He said, "Hey, wait a sec, who are you?"
"I am the real Sanzo Hoshi! I will set you free by creating harmony in the nature around us and finding balance."
"Huh?"
Sanzo started chanting. "Harmony-ahka, move-a-rocka, Harmony-ahka, move-a-rocka, Harmony-ahka, move-a-rocka, Harmony-ahka, move-a-rocka…
"Stop!" Gabbro said.
"You call that finding balance?" Dr. Z said as his coat is slipping a bit. "Some monk you are! I'm hanging by thread here!"
"I'm sorry, but whatever power that pirate used to trap you with must be even stronger than my chants." Sanzo said, slumped to the ground.
"If you can't even budge those rocks, how are you gonna move that one out of the way?" Gabbro pointed at the boulder.
"That… um… it… You want me to move that rock?!" He said, looked at the big rock.
"Shear said that Foolscap told her that some other monk said that you could move anything with the power of your magical monk words and it better be true!"
"It is true. I can." Sanzo said, stood up. "But before I do, you must release Mr. Z."
"It's Dr. Z!" He yelled.
"No way, not until you move that big rock outta the way." Gabbro argued.
"No, let Mr. Z go first!"
"It's Dr. Z!" Dr. Z yelled again. "Great, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place and two dumbbells, all at once."
Meanwhile, the Alpha Gang stumbled across the orchid in the fog, think that it's in the Lotus Land.
"At last, this must be it!" Ursula said, peeked through the bush. "Lotus Land, the orchard where the fruit of eternal life grows! Soon I'll be forever young!"
"Too bad Dr. Z can't be here." Ed said.
"Yes, I know." Zander said. "Ursula, don't you think maybe it's time we mount a rescue mission for him?"
"It'll be so much easier to find him with younger eyes!" She said.
"Well, I guess the least we can do is pick one for him." Ed said as Ursula picks a fruit.
"Let's see that Zoe kid call me old lady after I have achieved eternal youth!" She then eats it.
As Ed and Zander picks the fruit, they heard her yelling.
"Ursula!" They said, dropped the fruit.
"Yes, I feel the power of the fruit running through me, delivering concentrated pure youth!" She then asked them, "Well, fellas? Talk to me. How do I look?"
"The same." Ed said, flatly.
"Actually, a few seconds older." Zander said.
Ursula growled, frustratedly. "Stop joking! I'm younger now! So tell me I glow and look radiant!"
"But, but, but, but…" Ed stammered as the farmer comes in to see them.
"What are you people doing in my family's peach orchard?" The farmer asked.
"Your family's peach…"
"Orchard." Zander finished. "We were told that this was Lotus Land."
"Lotus Land? Do I look young to you?" The farmer said as the fog clears away. "I'm sorry to inform you, but you're in the middle of a farming village. Maybe the morning fog turned you around."
Ursula was left perplexed. "So you're telling me that I just ate a normal old peach."
"Maybe Lotus Land isn't real." Zander doubted.
"Yeah, 'cause every time we think we're, we're not." Ed said.
"You can give up, but I'm gonna became young, even if it does me in." Ursula said.
"Lotus Land does exist, and I know where it is." The farmer said, gotten their attention.
"Where, where?! Tell me where!"
"Help me pick my peaches and I'll gladly share the secret with you."
"Eh?"
"That sounds like a fair enough deal." Ed said.
"Yeah, how many peaches could he have?" Zander said.
Back on the mountain, Sanzo and Gabbro keeps arguing back and forth between letting Dr. Z go and moving the boulder.
"I'm not letting him go until you move that big rock!" Gabbro said.
"I'm not remove that rock until you release Mr. Z!" Sanzo said.
"It's Dr. Z!" Dr. Z yelled.
"Move the big rock first!"
"First, let Mr. Z go!"
"It's Dr. Z!" He yelled again. "I don't know which one is worse. Being stuck between these two boulders or listening to those two bickers back and forth and back…"
"…until you move that rock!" Gabbro said, pointing at the rock.
"Release Mr. Z!" Sanzo said as Dr. Z fell off the wedge.
"Rock!"
"Mr. Z first!"
"Enough!" They look up to see Shear and Foolscap. "Arguing is not working!"
"Besides, it looks like that Z guy is gone." Shear said.
"Hm?" Gabbro looked at the rock and Dr. Z is gone. "Hey, guess your chant moved those rock after all!"
"Really?" Sanzo said. "Why yes, they must've moved just enough for him to be dislodged."
"Good, now you can get to work moving my rock and I suggest you get started or else!"
Back with the D-Team, they made it to the top as Max found the trail.
"It's the trail." Max said.
"Our shortcut worked!" Rex said. "We must be at the mountain's peak!"
"Which means we must be near Sanzo, too!" Zoe said.
"And so is the Space Pirates." Terran said.
They nodded.
Back with the Space Pirates, Gabbro makes Sanzo move the rock with his chant but tying him up instead in case he runs away.
"Come on, monk, start your chanting!" He demanded.
"I hate to be the spoiler, Gabbro, but don't monks usually use their hands when they chant?" Shear exclaimed. "Maybe you should untie if you want the full effect. Just a thought."
"Fine, but if he gets away again, it's not my fault!"
"Don't worry." Foolscap said as Gabbro unties him. "With all three of us here, he's not going anywhere."
"If you say so." Gabbro then held Sanzo up. "Okay, monk, no more excuses! Get to it! start chanting and move that rock!"
"You should do what he says, Sanzo." Foolscap sneered
"He's asking nicely." Shear smirked.
"You don't want to know what it's gonna be like if I have to get not nice." Gabbro said.
"And if don't want to know what it'll be like if you don't let him go!" Max exclaimed as they looked at the D-Team, who just arrived in time. "So put Sanzo Hoshi down right this second!"
"Not." Shear said, coldly.
"Well, well, I must say these small sized humans and metal man are very persistent." Foolscap remarked.
"Yeah, and they don't give up, either." Gabbro added.
Max pulls out the card. "Dino Slash!" Max slashed the card on his Dino Bracer. "Triceratops, roar!"
Chomp was summoned in full-size Triceratops.
"Come on, Chomp, get in there and save Sanzo!" Max told it.
"Stop!" Sanzo yelled, confusing the Terran and the kids. "I beg you, do not fight."
"But we're fighting for you, Sanzo!" Zoe argued.
"These Space Pirates cannot be trusted." Terran added.
"Children, I know you think the only way to deal with these pirates is by fighting them." Sanzo said, "And that I can't be of any assistance. After all, I remember what you said to me…"
Max gasped, remember what he said to Sanzo about him getting in their of fighting the space pirates.
"Return these children's parents to them and end this conflict once and for all." He requested. "If everyone behaves peacefully, we can end this peacefully and live in peace."
"If you want to achieve peace, it's very easy. Just move the rock." Gabbro floats to rock with Sanzo.
"Leave him alone!" Rex yelled.
"Sanzo!" Max said.
"Stay away! Don't do anything. We must react peacefully to their acts of aggression." He told them.
"I haven't yet done an act of aggression. When I do, you'll know about it." Gabbro said, squeezed him a bit.
'I must remain calm and focused against these tormentors.' Sanzo thought while grunting. 'These bullies will give in once they see their violence isn't working.'
"What do you think we should do?" Zoe asked.
"Maybe we should trust Sanzo and do what he says." Rex said.
"Maybe, but we can't just let them hurt him!" Max argued.
"Don't forget, they need him alive to move the boulder." Terran reminded. "Whatever's behind that boulder, lies with the third Cosmos Stone."
"Hold on, Gabbro." Foolscap said, "This monk is one of those very stubborn meditator types which makes him hard to convince. Plus, he knows that we'd never really hurt him because we need him to move the giant rock."
"I don't know…" Gabbro said, unsured.
"For once, Foolscap is right." Shear said, "I have another idea." She then faced Sanzo Hoshi. "Move this rock for us and we'll set you and their parents free."
"Huh?" Sanzo gasped as the D-Team did.
Meanwhile, the Alpha Gang climbs up the mountain as they seek the Fruit of Eternal Life.
"I can't believe it! We spent all day picking what must have been a thousand peaches for that backbreaking farmer and for what?!" Ursula ranted.
(Flashback)
The Alpha Gang was exhausted after picking the peaches for the farmer.
"There. Done. We've picked every peach." She said, exhausted. "Now, come on, tell us where we can find Lotus Land and the fruit of eternal life."
"Uh…" The farmer spoke. "Lotus Land is where clouds meet the earth…"
(Flashback ends)
"…earth, whatever that means." Zander said, "I just hope we're on the right course climbing this mountain because it's a long way down here and that's-"
Ed started to slip and fall on Zander and Ursula as they fall to the ground.
"Really looooong!" They screamed as they hit the ground.
"Ed, that's the fourth time you've slipped and taken us with you." Ursula exclaimed. "You're in the back from now on!"
"I can't help but wonder if there isn't some better way to get up there." Zander wondered.
It was then Ed had an idea. "Aha! This is what we have dinosaurs for!"
"What are you talking about?" She questioned.
"Gimme a sec and I'll show you!" He pulls out the Alpha Scanner. "Alpha Slash!" Ed slashed the card. "Shake them up, Saichania!"
Tank is summoned in full-size Saichania.
"I'll have Tank drill us a tunnel all the way to the top." He said.
"Brilliant, I love it!" She agreed.
Tank looked at the mountain until she senses something in the mountain as if she was being drawn by the purple Cosmos Stone.
"Go Tank, dig to the top!" Ed commanded her.
Tank roared and started digging through the mountain.
"This might actually work." Zander said.
As Tank digs through the tunnel, She tunnel herself up to the mountain as she was being drawn by the third Cosmos Stone as the Alpha Gang arrives in the tunnel and look up that Tank made.
"Well, she is digging straight up to the top." Ursula said.
"Maybe you should have given her more direction before setting her loose." Zander said.
"Aw, what do you mean more direction?" Ed said. "What more could you want?"
"Well, for one." She spoke. "A tunnel we could all actually walk up?"
"Huh?" Ed gasped in realized his mistake.
"This is even steeper than the outside!"
Back with Tank, she keeps tunneling up to the mountain.
Outside the mountain, Sanzo knelt down and starts chanting.
"Harmony-ahka, move-a-rocka, Harmony-ahka, move-a-rocka…"
"That's a good monk." Gabbro said as everyone watched. "Chant your words and move that rock."
Inside the mountain, Tank reached the chamber and spotted something glowing on top of it before investigating it.
"He really believes his chanting will work." Max said. "He doesn't have any doubt."
"Well, we did sorta let him think it was his chanting that stopped the lava flow back at the volcano." Zoe mentioned.
"Right! And earlier, remember?" He then remember when his chanting stops the fight. "Sanzo though it was his chanting that made my hat shock me. It's time he knew the truth, that his chants don't work!"
Max went to tell him, but Rex stopped him.
"We shouldn't stop him." He said.
"I agree." Zoe said. "Sanzo's so totally into this this balance and harmony stuff. He's so focused and intense. You know, maybe his chanting affects things in ways we don't understand. Maybe he can move the rock!"
"What Sanzo's chanting is beyond my understanding." Terran said.
In the chamber, Tank climbs up and looked at the at the purple Cosmo Stone. She looks at it until her eyes is glowing and whipped her in frenzy before running to the tunnel.
Outside, Tank's frenzy has caused the boulder to move, surprising the Space Pirates and D-Team.
"Look!" Rex said.
"Wow." Zoe said.
"It's really moving!" Max said.
Terran said nothing as he watched the boulder moved and opens it.
"There, your big rock has been moved." Sanzo said. "Now release these children's parents like you said you would do!"
"We'll get to that later." Gabbro said, flew pass him.
"We've got something more important to do right now." Foolscap said as he and Shear flew pass him as well.
"Oh, but you promised!" Sanzo said before Terran and kids went to him.
"How did you do that?" Max asked.
"Well, I…"
"Once they get the Cosmo Stone, they're gonna time-hop againg and take our parents with 'em." Rex said. "We gotta stop 'em! Come on!"
"Uh…!"
"Hold that thought, we'll be right back!" Max said as they head to follow the Space Pirates, leaving Sanzo Hoshi outside.
Meanwhile, Dr. Z was wandering on the mountain as he calls for help.
"Hello! Is anyone here?" He called as he propped himself with a stick. "Where on earth am I? I can't see a thing through all these clouds."
The fog clears away and reveals that he wandering in the field of fruit orchard.
"Whoa! A fruit orchard! This must be Lotus Land! I found it!"
In the cave, the Space Pirates is making their way to the third Cosmos Stone.
"There it is!" Gabbro said, spotted something glowing ahead of them. "The Cosmos Stone!"
The glowing turns out it was Tank in frenzy.
"No, it's not! That's a dinosaur!" Foolscap exclaimed.
"Aw, nothing I can handle! Gorgosaurus!" Gabbro swipe the card on his chest plate, summoning Gorgosaurus.
Gorgosaurus roared and Tank sidesteps from a bite and knocks it into the wall, tackling into it a second later before Terran and the kids see the battle
"Is that Tank?" Max said.
"It looks like she's fighting Gorgosaurus." Terran said. "But I wonder what's she doing up here."
"The Alpha Gang must be somewhere in this cave." Rex said.
"Do you think maybe we should give Tank a hand?" Zoe asked.
Foolscap and Shear noticed them, much to their annoyance.
"You kids will stay out of this, if you know what's good for you!" Shear swipe the card on her neck plate, summoning Lanzhousaurus.
The dinosaur bellowed at them.
"Another dinosaur!" Terran tched.
"A Lanzhousaurus!" Rex said.
"If they want a fight, it's a fight they'll get." Zoe said.
"I'm with you, Zoe." Max pulls out the card. Dino Slash!" Max slashed the card on his Dino Bracer. "Triceratops, roar!"
Chomp was summoned in full-size Triceratops.
"Power Drain!" Shear swipes the move card.
Lanzhousaurus used Power Drain move by siphoning the portion of Chomp's energy, weakening him as it burps.
"Come on, Chomp!" Max shouted.
"He needs help! His power's been zapped away!" Rex pulls out the card. "Dino Slash!" He slashed the card on his Dino Bracer. "Carnotaurus, blow them away!"
Ace was summoned in full-size Carnotaurus.
"We'll hold the off, Zoe. You and Terran go after the Cosmo Stone!" He told them. "If we get it before they do, we can exchange it for our parents."
"Sounds like a plan." Terran said.
"We're on it!" Zoe said.
Zoe and Terran went around the battle to get the Cosmos Stone while Tank is still pummeling Carcharodontosaurus.
"Time to activate the Spectral Armor!" Gabbro and Shear swipe their cards, equipping both Gorgosaurus and Lanzhousaurus with Spectral Armor.
Chomp struggles to get up from Power Drain move.
"We can match that!" Rex said to Max.
"Yeah!"
They pulled out the boosters.
"Element Booster! DinoTector, on!" They plugged their boosters on their Dino Bracer, equipping their dinosaurs with respective elemental armor.
Zoe and Terran made it to the chamber as Foolscap is behind them.
"I got it!" Terran then launched his hand toawads the Cosmos Stone, but Foolscaps took it with the chain rope before Terran grabs it. "Hey!"
"Too bad, metal man! So close and yet so far!" He taunted before leaving.
Carcharodontosaurus dodges a swing from Tank's tail, then knocks her over as the Alpha Trio arrives.
"That's it, Ed!" Ursula berated him. "You are not allowed to have ideas anymore."
Zander then climbs up. "Next time, Tank digs us a tunnel, let's have her carve up a set of stairs too."
They then noticed Tank is getting beaten by Gorgosaurus.
"Some dinosaur's beating up on Tank!" Ed pulls out the booster. "DinoTector, on!" He plugs the booster in his Alpha Scanner as the screen shows the armored Saichania.
Tank was equipped with earth-based armor, turning her into DinoTector Saichania. The trio was amazed by her new armor.
"Now that's looking sharp!" He beamed.
"Cyclone!" Rex slashed the move card.
Ace used the Cyclone move before dashing towards Lanzhousaurus by grabbing its tail, hurling it around before tossing it against the wall.
"Ultimate Thunder!" Max slashed the move card.
Chomp used the Ultimate Thunder move and rammed Lanzhousaurus, defeating and destroying the Spectral Armor.
"Ultimate Earth!" Ed slashed the move card.
Tank roared as the giant crystals is summoned in her path before charging through to breaking them while shooting at Gorgosaurus and rammed it, defeating and destroying its Spectral Armor.
"All right, Tank!" The trio cheered.
Max claimed the Gorgosaurus card and Lanzhousaurus card.
"Max! Rex! Bad news!" They turned to see Zoe and Terran running towards them. "The Space Pirates snatched the Cosmos Stone."
They gasped.
"I almost had it right in my hand but Foolscap took it before I grabbed it!" Terran said.
"Then they're long gone now." Rex realized.
"We're sorry." She apologized.
"It's okay, you guys, it's not your fault." Max said, assured. "We'll catch up to them again. As long we stay positive and balance, we'll all be okay."
"You're right." Zoe said.
"I suppose so." Terran sighed.
"Very good, little Monkey King." They turned to see Sanzo. "You're not letting defeat anger you or frustrate you. You're choosing to stay balance and calm. I've taught you all well."
He smiled, proudly.
"I guess you did, Sanzo." Zoe admitted.
In the Lotus Land, Dr. Z tried reach for the fruit of the eternal life which is the edge of the cliff.
"That's the one I want!" He said, reaching it. "It's twice the size of all the others. Therefore, it'll make me twice as young."
When he reaches it, the fruit falls off from the branch.
"No, no, no!" He yelled as the fruit falls. "Come back to me, fruit of eternal life! Come back!"
He tried reaching it but the tree branch breaks, sending him fall to the cloud.
Back at the cave, The Alpha Gang left the cave.
"You know what, forget Lotus Land." Ursula said, "Let's find the Doc."
"Okay, but how we gonna find him?" Ed said.
"Yeah, it's not like he's just going to fall out of the sky." Zander said.
As Zander said that, Dr. Z falls down, screaming and landed in front of them.
"But then again…"
"You said it and it happened!" Ed exclaimed while Dr. Z is dizzied from the fall. "What are you, some kind of magic monk?"
Rex checked his TPS as it showed no signal from the Ancients.
"No signal." He said, "It's like we thought. The Space Pirates have moved on to another time period."
"Then we should move out too, right away." Max said.
"I hope you find your parents soon." Sanzo said.
"Thanks. It was an honor to get to know you, Sanzo."
"It was, and thank you for everything." Rex said.
"Hey, guys, we can't leave Sanzo out here in the middle of nowhere." Zoe said.
"Don't concern yourself with me." Sanzo said, "I will be able to finish the last leg of my journey without you. You must go and rescue your parents. I wish you harmony and balance."
"You too!" They said.
At the village, his disciples is murmured about the whereabout of Sanzo Hoshi until one of the disciples sees him.
"Look, it's Sanzo!"
"He's returned."
"I don't believe it!"
"He's back!"
"He's okay!"
His disciples gathers around as one of them offers him the umbrella.
"Take this for shade."
"I don't need it." Sanzo said, surprising them.
"But it's so hot!"
"It's okay, I'm fine."
"If you say so."
"We were worried! How did you escape from that terrible flying man? Tell us."
Sanzo Hoshi chuckled and looked back to the trail he went.
"I had some help of some very interesting friends." He said.
"What sort of friends?"
"Were they fellow monks?"
"Not monks, but adventurers on a journey to the West." Sanzo said, "And they called themselves Monkey King, Sandy, White Dragon Horse, and Pigsy."
Back on the mountain, Ed told them how they got here while Ursula and Zander checked Dr. Z.
"So you're saying it was Tank oho made that big rock move." Max said.
"Yeah, she tunneled in behind it." Ed said.
"I guess you can't mountains by chanting and asking for harmony and all of that." Zoe pondered.
"I don't know, I wouldn't be sure." Rex spoke. "Sanzo set out to move the rock by chanting, and in the end, the rock moved. It's like he knew that somehow it would happen if he just stayed positive and kept believing. So maybe it was Sanzo who made it move."
"Yeah, maybe."
"So, let's be just like Sanzo and believe that we can find the Space Pirates and save our parents." Max said.
"Yeah."
"Uh-huh!"
"Hey, when was the last time you guys were able to get in touch with the ship?" Ursula asked
"Huh?" Max said, confused.
"We've been trying for a while now, but we're not getting an answer." Zander told them.
"It's almost like the ship isn't there."
"Uh-oh…" Max muttered.
"It's Rex here. Can you hear me?" He said, using his Dino Bracer. "Please come in."
"Jonathan?" Max said, using his Dino Bracer.
"Hello, come in!" Zoe said, using his Dino Bracer.
"Jonathan, where are you?" Terran asked, using his Wrist Controller.
Max has static screen on his Dino Bracer.
"I'm just getting a bunch of static!" He said, "Oh no, what if we're stuck here?!"
With Jonathan not responding to their call, the D-Team and the Alpha Gang are stuck in Ancient China.
