The French Conniption

After they return from the Ancient Persia, they've managed to obtain the red Cosmos Stone until…

"No! Don't touch it with your bare hands, Max!" Zoe cried.

Max was electrocuted by a red light until Helga unplugged it as max was dropped to the ground.

"Hey, wait…" Rex said, sees the red lightbulb. "That's not the Cosmos Stone, it's just a red-light bulb."

"Oh yeah?" Max said, sitting up. "Well, it's a mean one."

"Must've just given you a little electric jolt."

"You're lucky." Zoe said, "If that was a Cosmos Stone, who knows what might've happened to you."

"So let's find out! Where is that Stone anyhow?!" Dr. Z said.

"In the worst place possible!" They heard Ursula.

"Worst place possible?" Max repeated. "Where's that?"

"The washing machine!" She said, "Ruining all my latest fashions!"

Terran and the kids looked in the washing machine and gasped when they saw the red Cosmos Stone is in there.

"The Stone will get destroyed in there!" Rex exclaimed.

At the laundry room, Helga stops the washing machine and took out the Cosmos Stone.

"Helga, what was the Cosmos Stone doing in with the wash?" Max asked.

"Vhat else? Keeping the clothes from getting tangled." She said before Ursula went to the basket.

"Next time, maybe use, oh, I don't know, the actual de-tangler ball." She threw it to Helga.

"There it is! Thanks. Here's this back!" Helga tossed to them.

The kids yelped as the Cosmos stone rolls to Chomp, who catapulted to Tank, who batter away with her club tail to Paris, who lets it rolls across her back to her tail and catapult to Wisp, who catches with the tail and rolls the Cosmos Stone across his back to his head and launches up. Ace and Spiny bumped each other and away as it rolls to Terry, who looks at it before eats it up.

"That's a good boy, Terry." Ursula said as Terry glows a bit. "Now, give us the-"

Terry suddenly went wild when he eats the red Cosmos Stone as he runs around the room until the Alpha Gang jumps on him.

"No, Terry! That's not yours!"

"Ursula's right! It's mine!" Dr. Z said as Terry sticks the Cosmos Stone with his tongue. "Thank you, now come along. Let's have a look at that stone."

Dr. Z took Terry to his room to see the red Cosmos Stone that he eats.

"Up you go." He throws Terry in his bed. "Open and say 'ah'!" Dr. Z then opened his mouth and propped it open with a sticks. "I'll bet this thing would help me become Dinosaur King and-"

Max then shoved Dr. Z away to take a look at the Cosmos Stone.

"Neat! Look at it glow!" He said as his friend shows up.

"It's kind of like a lava lamp." Rex said.

"Yeah, you're right… but way cooler!" Zoe said, taking a closer look. "Looks like there's a whole universe inside there!"

"Whoa, I'm getting carsick." Ed said, feeling nauseous.

"Enough of this star-gazing!" Dr. Z barked. "Let me study that Stone now!"

"No way, doctor." Max said, snatched Terry away from Dr. Z.

"Hey!"

"It's too dangerous to study!"

"Max's is right." Rex said while Chomp plays with Terry. "The Space Pirates know we have it and you know they'll come after us for it."

"Why would they do that?" Ursula said. "Don't they have four Cosmos Stones already?"

"Yeah, but they want all seven." Max said. "I heard Shear say so."

"Me too." Rex said.

"And the Pterosaur told us that bringing all seven together would cause big trouble!" Zoe added.

"I believe it!" Ursula said. "One of them nearly destroy all my laundry!"

"It's not just the laundry." Terran said, "If all the seven Cosmos Stones are merged together with all those immense powers, all space, time, and universe will be destroyed."

"Wha?!" The trio gasped.

"Huh?!" Dr. Z gasped.

"Well, in that case, I say we find a better hiding place for it than Terry's mouth." Ursula said.

"Or we don't hide it all and just give this Cosmos Stone to the Space Pirates in exchange for our parents!" Max said.

They all gasped.

"But you just said they can't get them all!"

"Oh, wait, I think I know what Max is thinking…" Rex said, realized.

"Right, there's still two more stones out there." Zoe said, "So if we can find one more, then we'll be safe and have our parents back!"

"And stop the Space Pirates from getting that last Cosmos Stone." Terran said.

Max nodded in agreement.

"Now you see it, now you don't!" Dr. Z then switches Terry with Tank. "At least let me study it until we run into the Space Pirates again! Just for some tests. Come on, please? Pretty, with sugar?! I'll be your best friend."

Max was irritated and wryly by his behavior until giving in.

"Oh, all right, but be careful!" He cautioned. "There's just no telling how much power is inside these Cosmos Stones!"

"Oh yes, quite right!" He said before having his insidious smirk. 'Let's just hope there's enough to make Dinosaur King!"

Jonathan appeared in holoscreen with Pterosaur.

"Pterosaur communication!" He said.

"Look, we got a Cosmos Stone, Pterosaur!" Max told it.

"Very good!" It said as it guided them to the next time period. "But there are two left! Follow me to one of them!"

"Lead the way! We're ready!"

Meanwhile, the Space Pirate's ship is traveling to the next time period after failing to get the red Cosmos Stone.

"Are we really not going after the Red Cosmos Stone those ground pounders took?" Shear asked.

"Yes, because if we can find the other two Stones before they do, they'll have no choice but to give it to us!" Spectre said.

"Why?"

"To get their parents back, you fool! Now pay attention. We should be arriving near the next Cosmos Stone at any moment."

"What time and place is it at now?" Shear asked.

"Paris, France in the year 1615." Spectre said. "A fabulous time of kings and queens and very pointy shoes! I can hardly wait!"

They arrived in Renaissance Paris.

"I don't think you'll have to." She said as they brings up the image of city of Paris. "Looks like we're here."

"Indeed, we are! Just look around; French architecture, French cobblestone streets, the smell of French fries in the air!"

"And no sign of the Cosmos Stone." Shear added. "How are we supposed to find it in all of this?"

"With the Cosmos Stone detector, of course!" He winked before signing off.

In the lab, Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia was working on the Cosmos Stone detector which it was frilled with ribbons, flower, and bows. Dr. Ancient then took out the microchip from the detector.

"This should disable it…" He muttered before nodding to Dr. Cretacia.

"~Oh, the next Cosmos Stone will soon be mine.~" They heard him singing. "~So long as my scitist's new design…~"

"Those off-key notes can only mean one thing." He said.

"Spectre's coming!" She said.

"~…Mine! Their punishment to be most unkind!~" Spectre finished singing as he appeared to them. "So? Is my detector complete yet?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact…" Dr. Ancient said as he sneakily put the microchip into his collar. "I just finished up the final modifications."

"Good! I'm glad to see that you're finally taking you work seriously, Dr. Ancient!" He then noticed the decoration on detector. "And you seriously outdid yourself with that new design! It's sooo pretty! I just love all the little friiills!"

"Thanks! We thought you would!" Dr. Cretacia beamed. "The whole exterior was hammered together with parts we found lying around, except for the reactor which is from your engine room. And then I added vanilla cake frosting and wrapped it all in ribbons, which was hard because without scissors, I had to use my teeth like this.."

"Look, I said I liked it. I didn't ask for your life story, all right, sunshine? Why don't you go take a nap or something?" Spectre said, making her pout before looking at Dr. Ancient. "And by the way, does it come in any smaller sizes? That thing needs its own valet."

"It is slightly larger, but it's much more accurate." He said.

"Do demonstrate."

"I simply enter the data for the place and time we're in…" Dr. Ancient types in the keypad. "…And voila!"

The detector shows the location of the sixth Cosmos Stone.

"Yes! The Cosmos Stone! It's right there! Shear, you know what to do!"

Shear then flew in. "I'm on it! One Cosmos Stone, coming up!"

She then take a look at the location, but noticed something's off.

"Wait, this isn't precise location…" She said, making Dr. Cretacia worried a bit. "But should be close enough."

"Good!" Shear flinched. "Then you better not mess it up!"

Spectre winked, making her uncomfortable and uneased.

"Or back to the dungeon. I know…" She sighed, flatly.

At the palace, the carriages was waited outside as the boy, who will soon become the king, was ready for departure.

"Bye bye, mumsy!" He said, "We're off to go visit Uncle Dumas at his chateau."

"Ahh, my…" The Royal Mother sighed, gladly. "And you're looking so handsome, my son!"

"Thanks, I'm trying to act more like a grown lately." He said, eating the lollipop before pulling out the new one.

"Indeed." She then got and approach her son. "Now, Louie, I want you to be careful on your trip. Believe it or not, there are some who would want to harm their king! And, give Uncle Dumas my regards, all right?"

"Mm-hm." Louie nodded as his mother patted his head.

"Remember Louie, as the boy King, what do you get in addition to all the power?"

He eats the lollipop. "All the candy!" He muffled.

At the carriage, the young woman or Princess Anne was waiting for Louie while Constance was packing her things.

"We were supposed to leave hours ago!" She said, getting impatient. "What could be taking that lazy future husband of mine so long?"

"If I had to guess?" Constance said, "Um, I'd say he's still packing his candy."

"I'm sure you're right, Constance, but how much can Louie need? We're only staying at the chateau for two days but… he is the king."

"Yes, Princess Anne."

Princess Anne sighed as she went back to seat.

"I just wish sometimes that he'd act a little more kingly."

"Princess! Here he comes!"

King Louie came rushing to the carriage and finally made it in before Constance closed it.

"Sorry I'm late, I was doing King stuff." He said.

Princess Anne huffed before King Louie gasped.

"Oh, Constance! Did you make sure to pack that roast pig and the chocolate cake?" He asked while slurping his lollipop.

"Yes, sure did…" She said, "And the fork."

"Aw, a fork? Can't you just wedge it all on a stick like my lollipops? It taste better that way." He then asked Princess Anne. "Don't you think?"

"You don't want to know what I think!" She huffed.

"Aw… Anne is mad again…" He sighed as the carriages is departed to chateau. "Good thing I have ten trunks of candy to cheer me up!"

As they left, Shear flew over to the palace and found the opened window before eavesdropping the Royal Mother.

"See that this royal proclamation is signed into law immediately." She issued as she gives the documents to her butler. "king Louie hasn't read it, of course, but put his royal seal on it anyway."

"Of course, your majesty."

As her butler left, the man named Chancellor Richelieu chuckled, grimly as he came in with the book in his hands.

"Your majesty, I've just come across something most interesting in the royal library." He said.

"Oh really? Do yell." She said, interested.

"In this old text, there's an account of the legendary Blue Eye of Gaia." He said, setting the book down.

"Blue Eye of Gaia?"

"And not only does the account say the gem is real, it appears that it's right here in the city!"

Shear then barges in. "Sounds like the Cosmos Stone to me!" She said, spooked him. "Nut don't let me interrupt!"

"What manner of demon are you?!" Royal Mother demanded.

"Guards, I-!" Richelieu was cut off when Shear threw her bladed boomerang at him.

"No guards, let's keep this between us." Shear said, "Now, about this Blue Eye of Gaia you mentioned. How do I go about finding it?"

The Royal Mother huffed, turning away.

"If you cooperate, I could be a valuable ally." Shear swipe the card on her neck plate, summoning Rajasaurus.

Rajasaurus roared at them, startled them before Shear calls it back into the card.

"And if you don't, it could get real messy around here." She sneered. "So, what's it going to be?"

Rushing through the hall, Constance ran to the hall when she heard Rajasaurus's roar.

"What is that roaring?" She wondered.

"Look, we both want the gem, so just tell me where it is." Shear said, "I'll go get it, and we'll share it."

Richelieu then whispered to the Royal Mother.

"Your majesty, if you distract her, I'll call for the guards and we can try to o-" Royal mother raised her hand, silence him.

"That sounds reasonable to me, my friend." She said before smirking. "You have a deal."

"Excellent." Shear smirked.

"According to this book, it seems the gem, known as the Blue Eye of Gaia, was hidden away a century ago for safekeeping, inside a certain building from the days of the Old Regime."

"But which building?"

"I'm afraid the name of the building has faded in the text, but from the description, they can only be talking about the Old Orphanage."

Outside the room, Constance gasped while eavesdropping their conversation.

"The Old Orphanage?!"

"Impossible! When we first learned about the gem, we searched every inch of that orphanage!" Richelieu exclaimed. "We found nothing! Well, except orphans."

"Fool! Did you even read this book before you brought it to me?" Royal Mother said, "It says the gem was hidden inside a wall, because its power is so strong."

"No problem." Shear said, "I'll just knock down the whole building down then and look through the rubble."

"If that's what it takes! Just find that gem!"

"Consider it done!"

Flying out of time warp, The Backland arrived in Renaissance Paris while hovering above the city.

"So, where'd the Pterosaur take us this time?" Max asked.

"The year 1615, Paris, France." Jonathan said.

"Paris, France?!" Zoe said.

"Tres joile, Parie!" She and Ursula squealed in French.

Back at the palace, Shear was getting ready to leave for Old Orphanage.

"Come on! Let's get that gem!" Shear said before flying away.

"I don't like it, your majesty." Richelieu said, "Why should we trust this weird flying woman?!"

"Would you rather have someone like that as a friend or a foe?" She said, pointing out.

"I see your point."

"Just make sure you and your men are at the ready when she finds the Blue Eye of Gaia, then take it from her!" Royal Mother instructed. "If the legend is true, that gem will grant my son, Louie, great power! Power to fulfill his destiny and become the ruler of all Europe! Are we clear, Richelieu?"

"Quite." He bowed.

After hearing what they're planning, Constance hurried to the Old Orphanage to warn them.

'To think the Royal Mother would plot such a thing!' She said, mentally while running. 'I must warn the Orphanage!'

Richelieu and his men rode on their horse while making their way to the Old Orphanage as Shear was following them in her pod ship.

Meanwhile, the Backland was in stealth mode as they hovering over the land.

"You guys, I'm getting a proximity reading from our parents!" Rex said, checking his TPS. "A proximity reading from our parents! That means the Space Pirates are already here in this era!"

"All right, so what's the plan?" Zoe said while their dinosaurs and Alpha Gang's dinosaurs hangs around. "To look for the Cosmos Stone or try and make that trade?"

"I say for now, let's keep the Cosmos Stone here on the ship, for safety's sake." Max said, "By the way, did you guys notice how when Terry had the Cosmos Stone in his mouth he seemed stronger?"

"Yeah, and with Ace, it had the opposite effect." Rex said as Terry jumps on Max's head and chew his hair and Chomp jumped on Terry.

"I don't get it." Zoe said, grabbing Paris. "Then are the stones good or bad for our dinos?"

"It must depend! It's given its effect on a given dinosaur."

"I see, so maybe since Terry got energized by the red Cosmos Stine because he has fires properties." Max said.

"Then you think since Paris has grass properties, she would have some kind of reaction to the green Cosmos Stone?"

"Maybe."

"Like the yellow Cosmos from Ancient Rome, Chomp was following Sophia around because he has lightning properties." Terran said, recalled from their adventures. "The blue Cosmos Stone from Caribbean Sea, if Spiny has brought out since he has water properties, he would've sensed it already, and then there's a purple Cosmos Stone from Ancient China, Tank was whipped into frenzy because she has earth properties when she sensed the Cosmos Stone."

"But there's really no way of knowing." Rex said, "After all, no one's found the green one yet."

"Who knows, maybe that's the one we'll find here?" Zoe said before looking at Paris. "What do you think, Paris, are we close?"

Paris cooed in response.

"I'll take that as a maybe."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Rex said. "I say we go out and find it!"

Suddenly, the holoscreen shows Shear is in her pod ship, following Richelieu and his men.

"That is, if Shear hasn't found it already!"

At the Old Orphanage, the children is playing a stick fight as if they were training.

"Come at me when you're ready!"

"En garde!"

The two boys shot forward at the young man as they parried with a stick.

"Is that all you've got?! You can't hope to defend Princess Anne fighting like that!" The young man named D'Artagnan exclaimed.

"Not so hard!"

"Oh, so you can't take it? Didn't you all give your to the Princess that you'd be maser swordsmen when she returned?!"

"D'Artagnan! Everybody!" The turned see Constance is running to them.

"Lady Constance! What's the matter?" He asked.

"There's no time to explain!" She said, "They're coming! For the Orphanage! Quickly, children!"

"Huh?" He gasped.

"Quickly, children! Your lives are in peril-"

She gasped when she sees Richelieu and his men is here.

Back with the Backland, Terran and the kids are viewing the city and places on screen while looking for the sixth Cosmos Stone.

"The Cosmos Stone is down there somewhere…" Max said, "So where do we start?"

"I don't know, but take a look at that!" Zoe said, pointing at the screen where the kids is throwing rocks and sticks at the soldiers.

"Looks like some kids fighting soldiers!" Rex said.

"Let's check it out!" Max said.

Back at the Orphanage, Constance and the matron got the children out of there as D'Artagnan and Athos keeps throwing rocks at them.

"I told you! We are not leaving this orphanage and that's all there is it!" D'Artagnan exclaimed as Athos threw a rock at them.

"You don't understand, we're only doing this for your own safety." Richelieu sneered. "This old building is to be demolished and we'd hate for any of you to get injured!"

"No way! This is our home!"

"Yeah!" Athos spat.

"Get lost!" Aramis said.

"Beat it!"

"Scram!"

Richelieu then motioned his men, resorting with forse as one man came and swung his fist at D'Artagnan, who evade his fist.

"You asked for it! En garde!" He swings his sticks at the soldier.

"Why you…!" He snarled and grabbed D'Artagnan by his scruff. "You need to be taught some manners!"

"Stop! You're hurting him!" Constance pleaded.

"Stay out of this, Lady Constance." Richelieu said.

"You just wait until Princess Anne hears of this! Don't you realize that she's the Godmother of this Orphanage?" She said. "If you destroy this place, you'll have to answer to her!"

"Oh no, I won't…" He smirked. "Because the destruction of the orphanage was ordered by the Royal Mother herself. So wake up and smell the baguettes or you'll soon find yourself in the dungeon!" He then turned to Shear. "Go!"

"Rajasaurus! Knock it Down!" Shear swipes the card, summoning Rajasaurus.

"What is that?!" D'Artagnan gasped, shocked.

Rajasaurus roared, scaring the boys away before jumping over and bashed against the orphanage. It begins demolishing the orphanage by bashing against it.

"Stop doing that! Go away!" He yelled.

Terran and the kids shows up to see what's happening.

"Whoa, where'd that Dino come from?!" Max gasped.

"It's Rajasaurus!" Terran said, "And it's destroying that building!"

"It must've come from Shear!" Rex said, "She must think a Cosmos Stone's in there somewhere!"

The orphans was crying tears as Rajasaurus is destroying their orphanage.

"Stop it, you!"

"That's all we have!"

Rajasaurus roared as it stood on top of the wrecked building.

"Then maybe now's the time to offer that trade!" Max then went to Shear. "Hey, Shear! You're doing all this to get another Cosmos Stone, right? Tell you what… if you cut it out, we'll give you ours!"

Shear then looked at Max.

"But you have to give us our parents back, too. So what do you say? Do we have a deal or what?"

"Mm-mmm. Not with two stones still up for grabs!" She shook her head in disagreement before ordering her dinosaur. "Now then… keep smashing!"

"Well, so much for that!" He sighed. "Let's do our thing, Chomp!" He turns Chomp into a card and zaps to his hand. "Dino Slash!" He slashed the card on his Dino Bracer. "Triceratops, Roar!"

Chomp landed in battle and charged as Rajasaurus jumps down to fight, but Chomp rams it back in the building.

"Stand clear, guys!" Zoe warned.

"It's not safe here!" Rex said.

"Everyone, leave this area!" Terran said.

Rajasaurus has a rock on its head on throws it at Chomp, hitting him, but he shakes it off.

"Way to go, Chomp!" Max said before pulling out the booster. "Now, DinoTector, on!" He plugs it in his Dino Bracer, equipping Chomp with lightning-based armor.

"That won't help! Not once I engage Spectral Armor!" Shear swipe the card, equipping Rajasaurus with Spectral Armor.

Chomp and Rajasaurus engage fighting as Rajasaurus bites at him, but Chomp pushes it back to the orphanage again.

"That's good, Chomp, but let's be careful." Max said. "We don't want to wreck the building!"

"Blazing Spin Attack, go!" Shear swipes the move card.

Rajasaurus forms a flame in its jaws before biting Chomp's neck and spins him around until it lets go of Chomp, throwing him towards the orphanage.

"Whoops! Hit that building again!" Max winced. "Oh well, don't give up, Chomp!"

Chomp charges Rajasaurus and launching it into the air.

"Now let's finish this with Lightning Strike!" Max slashed the move card.

Chomp used the Lightning Strike move and zaps Rajasaurus, destroying its Spectral Armor as it crashed into the orphanage again before dropping down.

"Ooh! Hit it again!" Max cringed.

As Rajasaurus stands up, it roared before the chunk of building landed on it, turning it back into a card.

"I'll just take this." Max claims the Rajasaurus card before chuckling, awkwardly.

"Go men, find the Blue Eye of Gaia!" Richelieu ordered as the soldiers is heading to the orphanage to find it.

"Blue Eye of Gaia?"

"Yes, it's a gem that has been lost for a hundred years." Constance explained as she walks up to Max. "For some reason, they think it's in the Orphanage."

"It is written that the gem is in a building from the old regime, that's the reason." Richelieu sneered. "Now, we will tear this dismal place apart brick by brick and find it!"

"You must believe me, Chancellor Richelieu. I was raised here, there's no such gem hidden inside!"

"It's true!" The matron said. "In the walls or otherwise! After all, this Orphanage has gone through so many changes and renovations over the years that by now there is almost nothing left of the original building."

"And there will soon be nothing left of this one!" He exclaimed. "Tear it apart, men! Find the Blue Eye of Gaia!"

As the sun has set, the soldiers searched the entire ruined orphanage and found nothing.

"Chancellor, we've searched every square inch of this place…" The soldier reported. "But I'm afraid the gem's not here."

Richelieu frowned. "So be it. Let's go!"

The soldiers and Shear left after finding out this gem or sixth Cosmos Stone is not in the orphanage.

"All this for destruction, for nothing." Constance muttered.

"Where are we supposed to go?" Aramis asked.

"Our home is destroyed!"

"My room!"

"All my things! Ruined!"

"What do we do now?"

D'Artagnan stomped to Max, angrily and gripped his shirt.

"This is all your fault! You showed up here and you and your creatures destroyed everything we had!"

"But, not on purpose." Max argued as he gripped his hands. "We were just trying to help you!"

"Save it!"

"Stop it, both of you. This won't solve anything!" Constance said.

"Max, let go of him!" Zoe yelled.

"Come on, you two! Break it up!" Terran said before he puts his arms between them and pushes them apart while Zoe pulls Max away as Rex pulls D'Artagnan away.

"There's been enough fighting and conflict today!" Constance said. "If only Princess Anne were here, she'd know what to do."

"Princess Anne? Who's that?" Zoe said. "Do you think she'd be able to help these kids?"

"Yes.. but unfortunately, the Princess is away at the moment."

"Away? Well, where is she?"

"At her Uncle Dumas' chateau, but if I were head there now, I should be able to reach her by nightfall." Constance turned to the others. "I'll tell the princess what's happened here."

"Be careful, the Dumas chateau was also built during the Old Regime." the Matron said, "Richelieu might go look for the gem there next."

Terran and the kids overheard about this gem that Richelieu and Shear were after.

"I'm starting to think that this gem and the Cosmos Stone are one in the same." Max said to Zoe.

"And if we get that Stone, then we'd have two, and we'd for sure get our parents back." She said.

"Well then, we'd better get there before Shear does!"

"Constance, we'd like to go with you to this chateau." Rex requested. "We kind of have our own reasons for going, but even so, you might need some backup if things get rough."

"Besides, we'd like to help make things right with the orphanage." Zoe said.

"The one you saw that attacked the orphanage is a dinosaur, a very large carnivore of that, and they're might be more of them if we run into them again." Terran said.

"Well, I…" Constance begins before D'Artagnan breaks out of Rex hold.

"Oh no, no way!" He protested. "If anyone's going, it's going to be me!"

"D'Artagnan, I appreciate it, but right now, I need you to stay behind with Athos and Aramis to look after the other kids." She told him before turning to Terran and the kids. "As for your offer, there is safety in numbers! I accept! Now let's get going!"

"Right!" They said.

Early in the next morning, Lady Constance sneak the horse carriage while everyone in the palace asleep.

"Let's hope no one notices we've borrowed the palace carriage." She said as the kids went in the carriage while Terran climbs on top of it.

Max and Lady Constance nodded that the coast is clear before they took off to the chateau.

However, Chancellor Richelieu saw them leaving with the palace carriage.

'What have we here?' He sneered, mentally.

On their way to the chateau, Lady Constance told them about the Royal mother and her plans.

"What I don't get is why the King's mother is calling all the shots in France." Zoe said, "Isn't that what the King's supposed to do?"

"Yes, but the King's only fourteen and emotionally speaking, even younger." Constance said.

"Huh?!" They gasped in surprised.

"And he's the king?!" Max said.

"You mean to tell us that the King is in his teenage year who will soon become the king?" Terran said.

"It's his birthright, which is appropriate because he's kind of a baby." Constance said.

"Wow. Sounds like it's the ladies with all the power around here!" Zoe beamed. "Wonder how the guys would handle being my royal subjects?" Zoe then imagined that she was the princess while the boys was her subjects and Terran as her butler. "They may not like the tights." She then giggles at the thought.

"Of course, the hope is that one day the Royal mother will step down and the King will take his place on the throne, but who knows whether he'll ever be strong enough." Lady Constance said. "Oh, if only he'd put down his lollipops and pick up the royal scepter!"

Suddenly, they heard a sound and saw the three boulders, rolling down the hill.

"Rockslide!" Max yelled.

"Watch out!" Terran said.

Lady Constance pulled the reins, stopping the horses.

"They're coming right for us!" Max said as the boulder is coming for them.
