The camera then went back to instead of Drake and Ashley, but Barry and Rinky. However, seeing that this was the third section update in a row, it wasn't that usual. What WAS usual was they were waiting with worry, instead of excitement.
"Woah… They really said 'We gotta outdo Junko and Xuan Dou Zhi Wang in some way and we gotta do it in style', huh?" Rinky asked.
"Yes, but I didn't think they would be so… Brazen about it." Barry admitted.
The two sighed before looking at the camera.
"Welcome back. Did you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year?" Barry asked. "I know WE did."
"Sorry we didn't begin with grins, but… Well, let's just say that the plot for this tournament showed up much earlier than we thought." Rinky said, sheepishly.
"To be fair, Section Five was also the same section when Junko made her appearance." Barry reminded. "AND it is not just a Tournament of Kikai thing, the third Battle of the Luminaries, Pichu showed up brainwashed in the FOURTH section and nearly caused a blackout."
"Still… It is kinda hard NOT to talk about it." Rinky frowned.
Barry let out a sigh. "To be fair, we should only have to talk about ONE fight before actually talking about said event so we better make it count."
"Y-Yeah, for now, let's act like we are doing this normally and start with the people who didn't get an elimination." Rinky said.
BRICK
NODE: THE POWERPUFF GIRLS
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 104
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
Barry gave a bored look. "...At least we won't leave our audience in suspense for too long."
"Yeah, ignoring the fact that it is impossible to talk about this 'fight' without spoiling a surviving fighter, there is basically NOTHING to talk about!" Rinky frowned. "Garnet from Multiversus was already flying out of the ring and Brick basically used the 'last-touch' rule to punch her so HE would get the elimination."
"Well, I can't condone it, in his defense, the alternative of who would get the elimination isn't much better." Barry sighed.
"I guess… That being said though… I just realised something." Rinky said.
"Yeah?" Barry asked.
"Now that Multiversus is out and the Rowdyruff Boys are in it, granted as alternate costumes for the Powerpuff Girls, do you think Boomer and Butch will do much better in the arena?" Rinky asked.
"That's… A very interesting question." Barry noted, rubbing his chin. "Especially since I remembered them being advertised as the final Battle Pass Reward in Season 3."
"Well, we just have to wait and see." Rinky said before frowning. "But for now…"
"Yes, let's get into the REAL main event." Barry sighed.
MARX
NODE: KIRBY
ENTERED IN: Section 4; Number 88
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
PENNY PROUD
NODE: DISNEY TELEVISION ANIMATIONS ALL-STARS/THE PROUD FAMILY
ENTERED IN: Section 3; Number 75
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 3
"...So much for the villains having a slow start." Barry muttered.
"The sad thing is that it is a little hard to talk about because other than those two and Penny's elimination, two other players need to be." Rinky frowned.
"All you need to know is that Jack Skellington from Kingdom Hearts was in a… Dancing match with someone." Barry explained.
"...I can't believe that is actually the TAMEST thing about this whole situation." Ashley muttered from off-screen.
Barry continued. "In the end, Jack won said dance-off, but his opponent decided to be a sore loser and grabbed Penny before throwing her and Jack, knocking him out of the ring."
"THAT is not why people are mad at Jack's opponent and by extension, Marx." Rinky added. "What they ARE mad at was that Marx blatantly kidnapped Penny Proud by dragging her out of the arena."
"Well, it isn't stated by Marx and his new partner, it is clear that the former WILLINGLY jumped out of the ring after Penny, there is no way it could be anything else." Barry said, shaking his head. "This was a kidnapping plot."
"I… I can't believe that they were so… Bold about it." Rinky said in awe though. "Don't the villain know that everyone and their grandma, in this case, Suga Mama, would want to interrogate them in the Recovery Room."
"The same reason Kurow Kirishima told Luigi that he was the villain's main target or that Oume Goketsuji's group brainwashed Pichu." Barry reminded. "They probably have precautions then."
"But even then, Monika is literally right there." Rinky reminded. "Even SHE wouldn't be silent."
As if on cue, Monika materialized between them with a frown.
"Well, I could relay any information to Xero and Maurice, inadvertently also telling YOU guys." Monika admitted. "But I can't disclose that much unless Orange-Ratchet gives the go-ahead."
"Why not!?" Rinky exclaimed. "Look, I get it you are doing it for the 'suspense', but the winner of the previous Tournament of Kikai has been kidnapped."
"Rinky, I swear to me, I am just as stumped as you are!" Monika insisted. "Sure, Orange-Ratchet portrayed me as an all-seeing god, but even then my powers are limited just as long as he gave me that power!"
"See, not a good look for the third host to just ignore it as if nothing had happened!" Rinky scolded.
"Hey, I am going to investigate in the next update!" Monika scolded.
"That damn well is not good enough..."
Barry and Rinky winced while Monika merely frowned. The camera then turned to see Drake looking quite disturbed with Ashley putting his hand on his shoulder while glaring off-screen most likely at Monika.
"I specifically told, nay, THREATENED Xero if he does anything that made Drake or I have flashbacks of what happened in the latter half of the third Battle of the Luminaries, I would neuter him with my magic!" Ashley spat. "But I thought that YOU were different!"
"Ashley, I swear I am just as stunned as you!" Monika insisted.
"And why should I believe you because you clearly knew what happened during the last tournament and did NOTHING!" The wizard snapped.
By this time, Monika narrowed her eyes. "Hey, in the current status of said tournament, I was more or less getting help!"
"When you could have saved us SO much time if you just rescued Drake!" Ashley scolded.
"Hey, if I actually had a big role, then Orange-Ratchet would have to explain why Xero and Maurice never met me before!" Monika scolded.
"You didn't have to do so DIRECTLY!" Ashley shot back.
"You're right! I didn't! I could have done it INDIRECTLY!" Monika scolded.
"ENOUGH!"
Ashley jumped before he and Monika looked up at Drake, looking down at the ground with his hair covering his eyes. The former two looked at each other in concern.
"...What numbered section are we on in terms of the airing of the third Battle of the Luminaries?" Drake asked.
"...Section Twenty-Four." Monika answered, solemnly. "It is when everyone realised that the UVR timeline was in danger."
"...So it is too early to give full details." Drake said. "I WILL say this."
He then looked up with a determined look on his face.
"...Penny never gave up in that tournament." Drake said.
Ashley and Monika paused as Drake continued.
"Even when she figured out what was happening, she still went on and let every misfortune act as a greater motivation for her." Drake reminded. "Sure, she wasn't involved from the start, but that was because she wanted Snoopy's run to the end. She wanted to be a role model for all Slice-of-Life characters."
Drake then looked to the side.
"Furthermore, she saw what happened to the other champions in that tournament and saw how it affected them and their loved ones. She has every right to be wary about her status as a champion." Drake explained. "But instead she kept trucking on. In terms the champions get trucking on for HER, acting as role models for her and future champions."
Drake then put his hands on his chest.
"I really, really, really want to say more, but for now I will tell everyone that Penny is a major player in saving me." Drake said. "She deserves a better speech for that from me. And maybe she will get it. But not here."
Drake then looked at Ashley and Monika.
"What I am trying to say is Penny didn't give up on Snoopy, the champions OR me so the least we could do is do the same for her." Drake explained.
"Drake…" Monika said.
"You're…. You're right. Worrying isn't going to do anything." Ashley said, looking to the side. "I… I am just so upset that this tournament is reminding me of what happened."
"I know… I am not going to lie, I kept thinking about what happened to me." Drake said.
He then took Ashley's hand and held it gently with a small smile.
"...But at the same time, it showed the best side of everyone. Everyone was willing to go out of their way to save me. And it doesn't extend to me being killed. Again." Drake offered. "So it is only fair that we do the same for Penny…"
Ashley paused. "Not wrong…"
"Besides, it is only Section Five. The night is still young." Drake offered. "Penny knows the dangers of being a champion and she won't let this get her down. If not for her, but for her alliance, me, Snoopy and the other champions."
Ashley said silent for a moment. He then sighed.
"You're right. I am sorry… Drake, you too, Monika." Ashley said.
"It's fine… I would be more surprised if you DIDN'T get heated over this." The red-haired girl sighed. "Look, believe it or not, I don't want people to see me as a Junko 2.0. I want to get to the bottom of this. I am willing to look the other way at things happening OUTSIDE of the ring, but an actual kidnapping in front of everyone."
"Just do what you can." Drake said.
"Please… If it can't be helped, we have no choice but to trust you, but I don't want a repeat of the Battle of the Luminaries." Ashley pleaded.
Monika nodded her head. "I am on it! See you guys later!"
With that, she dematerialized.
"It will be fine…" Drake offered.
Ashley paused. "...And you?"
Drake paused before looking to the side for a moment. He then looked back at Ashley.
"...I got you, don't I?" Drake asked. "That alone is enough."
Ashley paused for a moment. He then smiled.
"Of course… We made it this far." Ashley said.
"For now, let's go back to Barry and Rinky and explain the rest of the fighters." Drake offered.
With that, the camera then went back to Barry and Rinky.
"Yeah… It is far too early to throw in the towel. We don't even know the scope of danger Penny is in." Barry said.
"Yeah, and we came in to start with all of the surviving fighters!" Rinky smirked. "They are sure to bring us out of our funk!"
QUEEN TYR'AHNEE
NODE: DUCK DODGERS
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 103
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Ooh, the obligatory fighter skip for this section!" Rinky smiled.
"To be fair, in a way this could warrant a fighter skip as well because Queen Tyr'ahnee's opponent was actually fighting her ally." Barry noted. "But we will cross that bridge when we get to it."
"Well, we can't tell the full story, but basically Tyr'ahnee noticed that Ron Stoppable from Disney Television Animation All-Stars was using Mystical Monkey Power and wanted to fight him to see it for herself." Rinky explained before smirking. "I know that Ron is afraid of monkeys and all, but that power is awesome!"
"But Tyr'ahnee is the queen of Mars for a reason. While Ron managed to get the jump on her, Tyr'ahnee turned the tables by throwing her double-bladed weapon at Ron, knocking him out of his Mystical Monkey Power." Barry added. "Making it easy pickings for her to eliminate Ron."
"As for the 'start' of this fight, well, we will talk about that LATER." Rinky said with a smirk.
KING OF DINOSAURS
NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS XV
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 93
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
BEAST
NODE: KINGDOM HEARTS/BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
ENTERED IN: Section 4; Number 82
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 3
Barry shook his head. "And we are onto the obligatory clumsy elimination of the section."
"To be fair, watching those two heavyweights go against each other was very awesome." Rinky offered. "What with Beast's… Well, beast strength and the King of Dinosaur's wrestling heel tactics."
"So was the fight between Ushi from Fighters' Destiny and Penelope from Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem with their… Respective animal fighting styles." Barry said before sighing. "But then Ushi tried to ram Penelope and while the latter tried to hold on, she found herself being flung onto the King of Dinosaurs."
"Beast noticed this and did not appreciate his fight being interrupted and tossed Ushi out of the ring for more or less launching Penelope towards them." Rinky said before frowning. "The King of Dinosaurs did not appreciate his fight being interrupted AND getting scratched all over his body and mask and for those you forget, messing with a masked wrestler's mask is a huge no-no."
"In the end, the King of Dinosaurs easily threw HER out of the ring." Barry sighed. "Well, at least Beast already has two eliminations under his name but the King of Dinosaurs has never gotten an elimination before and THIS is how it ends up for him?"
"Well, at least he…" Rinky started.
Only for Barry to clamp his hand over Rinky's mouth. At first, the ghost was startled, but then realised why Barry did and clamped his own hands over Barry's hands in a pathetic attempt to cover it further.
AUDREY RAMIREZ
NODE: ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 100
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"And here we have a classic Disney fight!" Rinky grinned.
"Shocker." Barry said, rolling his eyes. "But blatant Disney bias aside, it was a solid fight between Audrey and Ariel from Kingdom Hearts with Audrey's various tools to fight and Ariel's projectile trident and aquamancy, the two seemed easily matched."
"However, Audrey used her flare gun from the tie-in game to take Ariel off-guard and made her bleed." Rinky winced.
"Fortunately, Ariel doesn't really mind and allows Audrey to eliminate her." Barry said. "Sad way for her to go out, but at least she had a decent run. Three eliminations is not bad and she proves why she deserves to be invited in the last Tournament of Kikai."
K. ROOL
NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS/DONKEY KONG COUNTRY
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 106
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Speaking of making up for the last Tournament of Kikai, I was stunned that K. Rool failed to get an elimination in that tournament." Rinky noted.
"To be fair, as much as I hate to sound like Mai Shiranui, Super Smash Bros have too many fighters getting eliminations so having fighters that DON'T get an elimination is in a way a good thing for more obscure nodes to shine." Barry added.
"Regardless, we have another classic heavyweight duel!" Rinky grinned. "Though with twists on both sides with K. Rool's projectiles and Blanka's electromancy."
"But despite not having a win against the Kongs, K. Rool showed us why he is the Big Bad and stunned Blanka with a body slam." Barry smirked. "Blanka may be a heavyweight, but he doesn't have the girth K. Rool has!"
"He may still be getting heat in the third Battle of the Luminaries, but he is definitely making it up here!" Rinky nodded.
BUGS BUNNY
NODE: LOONEY TUNES: WORLD OF MAYHEM
ENTERED IN: Section 4; Number 92
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
"Ooh, and we have a rematch from the first Tournament of Kikai!" Rinky smirked. "For those you forget, in the Final Four, Bugs and Mewtwo from Pokemon had faced off against each other and in the end, Mewtwo won."
"It seems that Bugs wants to settle the score. And he picks his costumes to good use with his Masked Terror and umpire outfits." Barry added. "Mewtwo put up a good fight, but just like in the first Tournament of Kikai, fatigue was a major factor in a victory. This time, with Bugs showing up on top, ending the fight with an obstacle from Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time."
"So both the winner and the runner-up are eliminated. Now that they had a chance to win with their early draws, but still." Rinky noted.
TINO TORTELLINI
NODE: DISNEY TELEVISION AFTERSCHOOL ALL-STARS/THE WEEKENDERS
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 101
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
BUCKY KATT
NODE: GET FUZZY
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 107
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
PUDDING FONG
NODE: TOKYO MEW MEW
ENTERED IN: Section 3; Number 50
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 4
Rinky grinned as he rubbed his hands together. "Oh boy… I've been waiting to talk about this unlikely trio."
"And considering what other team-ups happened, that is a mouthful." Barry said, shaking his head. "First off, Pudding and Bucky's team-up is based on such a religious thing."
"...I am SO glad that the whole Craz-E thing is going to be mentioned once." Rinky sighed. "I got a headache, just literally Xero mentioned it over the phone."
"Same. Next, Pudding ended up dragging poor Tino, seeing him as a fellow fourth-wall breaker." Barry frowned. "Which admittedly isn't wrong, but his brand of fourth-wall breaking isn't as… Big as Pudding's."
"Basically you know Pudding and Bucky were teaming up with Korra from Nickelodeon All-Stars and Garnet against Brick from the Powerpuff Girls." Rinky added. "To the Rowdyruff Boy's defense, he was doing decently for himself, but he even then he could only do much."
"In the end, Garnet and Korra decided to do a Limit Break." Barry said before sighing. "But just like in the last tournament, a Limit Break isn't the end-all be-all."
"Basically, Bucky was climbing a rock wall created by Korra to get a hit on Brick. Unfortunately, he ended up making the wall topple towards the two." Rinky winced. "This landed on Garnet and Korra and knocked them out of the ring. However, Brick took advantage of this and hit Garnet out of the ring."
"Not surprised Bucky's first elimination was an epic fail." Barry said, shaking his head. "Fortunately, he and Pudding managed to avenge the black-coded lesbian queens by using a trick from a movie called 'That Darn Cat'."
"Dude, I remembered seeing that movie at least twice, but have completely forgotten it existed!" Rinky said in awe.
"Same here. Next, they used… The Yoo Hoo Cannon from the Mario & Luigi series?" Barry asked, scratching the back of his head. "Umm, WHAT?"
"Maybe this is Orange-Ratchet's way of celebrating the series' comeback with Brothership?" Rinky offered.
"If that is true then neither Mario Brother won't come out for a while so that is why he decided to shoehorn in with those two." Barry said before shrugging.
"Anyway, finally onto Tino's elimination. …Yeah, he wasn't having the best time with the wheel, giving him the Floor is Lava punishment from the wheel and him ticking off Chrom from Super Smash Bros." Rinky frowned.
Barry raised an eyebrow. "Okay, doesn't that seem a little out-of-character of Chrom?"
"Maybe not to resort to violence. Especially against a Slice-of-Life twelve-year-old." Rinky said before shrugging. "But then again, he always gets exasperated by the craziness of not only the Shepherds, but also the DLC."
"I guess… Fortunately, Pudding and Bucky came to his rescue. Standing behind Chrom, they pulled the classic 'make the target go over backwards and have them trip over a rope' prank'" Barry noted.
"A classic!" Rinky smirked. He then faltered. "But THEN, Pudding and Bucky tried to eliminate Chrom and failed… Sheesh, I haven't seen someone fumble an elimination since Donkey with Charizard in the third Battle of the Luminaries."
"It got so bad that Tino, where the poor boy spent nearly the entire section, mind you, was exasperated and eliminated Chrom himself." Barry said. "However, he DID take his Falchion at the suggestion of Pudding and Bucky."
"Might as well because Tino literally doesn't have ANYTHING to work with. At least Lor got her sports expertise." Rinky said before smirking. "Besides, it worked for Kisshu with Quickdraw's guitar."
"True." Barry chuckled. "Should have known those three wouldn't disappoint."
BANDANA WADDLE DEE
NODE: KIRBY
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 94
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
"Hey, look who is making up for their long hiatus from all of the way in the first Battle of the Luminaries!" Rinky smirked.
"Indeed. Then again, it is not like he didn't see a lack of work in the games so he had practice." Barry noted. His smile then faltered. "Then again, you won't tell from the start with his first elimination."
"Royal Highness from Tokyo Mew Mew was tossed by Mewtwo towards the fight between Bandana Waddle Dee and Pichu from Pokemon, right into the latter's electric attacks." Rinky said before rolling his eyes. "Sure, not a good look for anyone involved, but somehow fitting."
Barry shook his head. "Fortunately, the fight between Bandana Waddle Dee and Pichu, despite their appearances may seem otherwise, made up for it with Bandana Waddle Dee's spear-work and Pichu's electromancy."
"However, despite being a Mono-Electric type, Pichu has more than meets the eye! Using Sweet Kiss to temporarily confuse Bandana Waddle Dee!" Rinky said before scowling. "I HATE when that happens!"
"So Pichu decides to use his Final Smash to finish him off. Also, kinda off-topic, but apparently Volt Tackle will be used by Pichu and only Pichu." Barry said. "Pikachu has his own Final Smash."
"Ooh, do you think it is Thunder Armour!?" Rinky grinned.
Barry gave Rinky a weird look. "Yeah… Anyway, while Pichu did a lot on Bandana Waddle Dee, it wasn't enough to have the latter down for good as he managed to recover and throw Pichu out of the arena."
"Anddddd he has gotten a Smash Ball from the wheel so this should be interesting." Rinky smirked.
ISABELLE
NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS/ANIMAL CROSSING
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 95
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
Barry and Rinky's faces fell when they saw the ally of a certain champion.
"Oof, this is awkward…" Rinky frowned.
"Poor Isabelle, seeing her own friend get kidnapped right before her eyes." Barry winced.
"And what is worse was that they were doing so well." Rinky sighed. "Penny against the Devil from Cuphead and Isabelle against Marx from Kirby. Unfortunately, they were playing into the villain's plans."
"Isabelle tried to save Penny, but it was too late as the villain just let her eliminate them." Barry frowned. "At the very least, she realised that she has to keep fighting for Penny's sake."
"Kinda weird to see the Devil being a straight-out villain when he was the one who apparently told his number one, King Dice, to warn everyone about the rift in the timeline in the third Battle of the Luminaries." Rinky noted.
"I think it is more pragmatic. Messing with timelines is tricky stuff and even devils are not immune to it." Barry explained.
"I guess… Well, I hope that she will be alright." Rinky said.
"All we can do is hope…" Barry sighed.
MARVIN THE MARTIAN
NODE: LOONEY TUNES: WORLD OF MAYHEM
ENTERED IN: Section 5; Number 98
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
"Heh, so we have two Looney Tunes Top Slots back-to-back!" Barry smirked.
"Not too surprising seeing that not only is the face of Looney Tunes came first, also one of the only Looney Tunes to show up in Multiversus besides Taz." Rinky noted.
"Well, anyway, we kinda skipped some context in Tyr'ahnee's section. Basically, Ron Stoppable… Cat-called at her, much to Marvin's frustration." Barry frowned. "This prompted Marvin to send Patrick from Nickelodeon All-Stars after Ron's current opponent, Yang from Street Fighter All-Stars."
"But like we said, Tyr'ahnee was interested in Ron's Mystical Monkey Power so SHE sent Marvin to help Patrick with Yang." Rinky added.
"However, Marvin, being a Looney Tunes villain, got greedy." Barry said, rolling his eyes. "He went into the Safe Zone to change into his Space Emperor outfit and summoned his ship and zapped Yang AND Patrick while they were distracted before getting them out of the ring."
"Considering that Tyr'ahnee was unironically attracted to Patrick, that was a big no-no for him." Rinky said before chuckling nervously. "But at least he has the chance to influence the next section."
Barry shook his head. "Well, that is everyone. Garnet, Patrick, Mewtwo, Ariel, Penny, Jack, Pichu, Ron, Blanka, Ushi, Marx, the Devil and Brick. …Damn, we lost a lot of veterans."
"Yeah, weird." Rinky said. "But we WILL say hello to the King of Dinosaurs, Bandana Waddle Dee, Isabelle, Marvin, Audrey, Tino, Tyr'ahnee, K. Rool and Bucky. Now, it is lights out!"
With that, the area was engulfed in pitch darkness before three familiar orbs floating up showing Cacey.
"Greetings, and welcome to the Safe Zone Challenge." Cacey introduced. "Interesting, before we will start with who won. Because there were THREE candidates based on the top votes."
Two of the orbs had shown Bandana Waddle Dee and Audrey.
"Bandana Waddle Dee and Audrey almost won the vote, cementing their reputation and popularity." Cacey noted. "However, I would like to point out that the winner is a dark horse, even if the final factor is most likely used from a randomizer."
The crystal orb then showed a muscular man with a dinosaur head.
"It seems despite not only barely managing to survive the section, but with an unflattering elimination on his part." Cacey said. "And yet, here we are, arguably the most unlikely challenger so far! So the mighty King of Dinosaurs will fight by…"
Then, Cacey's face was replaced with one of boredom.
"A game of Pooh Sticks against Monika in the world of Winnie the Pooh." Cacey muttered. "Okay, I am sorry, I can't, I can't… I know that I am supposed to act as this mysterious, graceful host, but how could I take this seriously!?"
"Hey, assuming what Monika said is right, blame a certain commenter who kept bugging Orange-Ratchet, along with the others, about having Mystery Fighters suggestions." Drake said from off-screen. "Even on tournaments when it is explicitly stated that we DON'T take requests. Trust me, Tiny has been dealing with him too and he is starting to lose his mind!"
"If you say so…" Cacey said. "I do hope that this is the last time."
A bitter laugh could be heard. "Trust me… You don't know how persistent this guy is."
"Splendid." Cacey muttered.
She then sighed.
"So anyway, the King of Dinosaurs is dueling Monika in a match of… Ugh, Poohsticks." Cacey winced. "Okay, seriously, I know I have to go through with it, but how could I make such a luck-based game, especially one that could be done by CHILDREN, interesting?"
"If it is luck-based, then call like a casino owner." Drake's voice offered.
Cacey narrowed her eyes. "...Give me a raise because you don't pay me enough to do that."
"Alright, alright." Drake muttered.
Cacey let out a sigh.
"Things started off normal with Monika getting the first point, but she then shows off her… Mischievous nature by throwing a Poohstick early." Cacey explained. "However, the King of Dinosaurs was smart and caught on easily, despite her attempts to trip Monika up."
Cacey nodded.
"It was a… Long match, but in the end, the King of Dinosaurs managed to win it." Cacey sighed.
She then smirked.
"Fortunately for everyone, the reward for the King of Dinosaurs is more than worth it." Cacey explained. "A prize that allows him to use if the top slot fighter of this section selects one of two certain envelopes and sure enough Marvin DID pick one of two other envelopes. What is it? Well, I will explain… Next update. But for now, I am going to show you the current stats.

"Nothing seems to change too much." Cacey mused. "King of Fighters XV got another elimination from a previous no-elimination, but still somebody should get onto getting more than one. Unlike Kirby, where Marx AND Bandana Waddle Dee managed to flip the couch, even though Marx didn't survive the section."
Cacey then nodded.
"I'll tell you to stay tuned, but unfortunately you need to go to see the update to a certain other tournament." Cacey said. "But don't worry, we will be right back."
She then frowned.
"...Just not before the deadline. Or even a little after it." Cacey said.
"...You just HAD to say that, didn't you?" Drake muttered from off-screen.
