Duel Monsters isn't just another card game like others. No, it's much more.
Embedded in it are magic, knowledge, respect for others, skill, resilience, mystery and more.
A rather unique pastime, as is the story of its origin: Many believe it was created a few decades ago by a wealthy businessman too bored with life and with an irrepressible obsession with mystery and the occult.
Others, that it is a gift from the gods.
Many others, on the other hand, that it is something dating back to the dawn of civilization, a tool used by tyrants to subjugate the masses and dominate the world, but that due to an unspecified event, they ended up losing control of it and erasing it forever from their memory, at least until now...
No one knows what the actual truth is, after all, only the winners are able to write history.
In any case, the Duel Monsters has undergone profound and radical changes since the day of its creation, so much so that it has triggered a veritable "fever," becoming extremely famous and spreading to every corner of the globe, catalyzing the attentions of every kind of individual it comes across.
To this day, it is no longer considered merely a pastime, but a full-fledged world sport, thanks in large part to its constant evolution and ability to stay in step with the times.
New legends have emerged and a new genesis of duelists is about to make its debut, aiming to rout opponents and become the best.
Limit City is one of the most popular theaters of that discipline, a rather advanced and efficient metropolis that has given birth to many of these champions.
But don't be fooled by the name. Here, the only limit that exists is your imagination.
However, in the shadow of a place so idyllic to call home, a terrible germ has now awakened, silently plotting to extend its filthy, malevolent claws over it, and if it isn't stopped, it may soon target the entire planet.
But all isn't lost. A valiant and promising 16-year-old duelist is about to enter the scene.
His name is Shiyuki and he is about to shed light on an uncomfortable and dark truth about himself and his surroundings.
This is the beginning of his story…

Hello everyone, I hope this introduction has intrigued you.
A few notes before I take my leave:
- This work is completely focused on the Oc, so there will be no characters from the canonical work except for one character from one of the 6 main anime series, but I will leave it up to you to find out who he is.
- This story will contain original archetypes, however there will also be archetypes or cards from the official series, retrained or with new supports
- I'm looking for contributors (Beta Reader/Writers/Deck and Archetype Creators) who are interested in the project and want to give me a hand with the creation of the archetypes, planning, dueling schemes, plot points and so on.
