Chapter 1

Brrrr! Brrrrr!

The alarm clock was set at 7:00 a.m. sharp for the first day of school.

Judith was woken up by her alarm clock. She smashed it to stop. It did stop.

She got up slowly. She was wearing overgrown pj shirts short sleeves, v-neck, above knee length, loose fit boyfriend style. High-quality cotton nightgown will keep you cool and cozy on hot days. She yawned and went to her bathroom down the hallway and entered there. She looked at the mirror sluggishly. She decided to take a shower.

She removed her sleepwear and turned on the shower. The sound of a shower and steam air pouring out into the door crack and the sound of music humming came from her lips.

While she was cleaning herself in the shower.

Babe the dog yawned and shook his head. He huffed bark and then walked out of the hallway to downstairs into the kitchen. He presses his nose on the coffee maker which pours fresh coffee liquid. Seeing the coffee liquid, Babe went to his doggy door to check if anything was on his home turf.

Babe had done this since his puppyhood. Just because they have a new home doesn't mean he should slack off. So, like any day he decided to start his routine. He entered outside and ran out into the backyard.

He spotted his intruders. Five crows are picking or gathering anything to eat on the grass.

He laid down the law. Babe started barking loudly.

Bark! Bark! Bark! He ran out and barked the crows off the grass. When he saw them fly away. He left quickly without realizing that all five Crows come back down to the same spot.

Babe walked away and paused as he saw his bone. He picked it up with his mouth and quickly searched for a spot to bury it. He dug the soil from the tulips, accidentally removed one tulip, and placed the bone in that hole.

He turned around and pawed the dirt back as the tulip fell back on top of it. Babe saw the tulip not being planted so he nosed it upside down to make it seem like this one is late bloomer.

Babe saw it done. So, he happily walked back but he smelled something. He huffed and started sniffing in the air and looked in the direction.

He saw a big black rat entering the backyard. It hissed and showed its teeth, but Babe was not afraid to fight back.

He won't allow any critters to come to his home.

Babe started to growl as he spotted him. He went to the hunting dog position and started barking.

Bark! Bark! Bark!

The rat heard and saw the dog as he ran away. Babe chased him down.

He ran the rat out of the hole where the rat came through. Babe was about to dig a hole to get him, but something stopped him.

Hearing the bicycle bells as the paper boy is here.

Riiiing! Riiiiing!

Babe's ears twitched as he panted happily around from the back.

The thirteen-year-old paper boy rode his bicycle up to his customer's house. Then he saw the white wood fence that was not too high as the dog came running. So, he aimed the paper into the air as Babe saw it coming. Babe jumped into midair and caught the newspaper in his mouth.

A perfect catch! Score!

"See ya tomorrow buddy!" The paperboy yelled out with a wave to the dog. When Babe saw the paperboy rode his bike away to deliver more newspaper.

Babe muffed and nodded his head once.

Babe happily ran back to the backdoor scaring away those crows again. He went to his doggy door, but there was a slight problem. He tried to fit in with a paper in his mouth.

However, he is no quitter. His owner will get her news.

He tried to enter twice before he went backward. It looks like it works, but there will be a few shredded as he drags the rolled-up newspaper which it result in a few pieces of paper.

Scratches, scratches.

Hey, Judith wants news. She will get them either way. Whatever works.

Anyway, at the table there is a plate of buttered toast and porched eggs that is sprinkled with black pepper on top of the eggs.

Judith is dressed in a green women's Tencel Military V-Neck button-up sleeves blouse and white tank top and Gothic Harajuku Green Black Lace Up Plaid Skirt with nigh longs covering her legs. She has an ankle-up boot with heels. She wore her piercing earrings of made of silver. And necklaces that have English flag pendants and a holy crusade cross. Also, she wore her pendant of her patron saint, Saint George slaying the dragon.

Judith read along with a big hole between newspapers and mumbled, "Boy Babe, it is me or is this the most boring town that seemed to have no real news at all?" She reached for her cup of coffee through the hole of the torn paper.

Babe panted his tongue and sat up almost begging mood. Judith smirked at him.

She pours coffee onto his plate and passes him a glazed donut by hand. Babe took hold of a donut and dipped it in coffee. Then rolled it to his side.

Judith continued like any normal person would talking to her dog.

"Well, you can't blame folks that prefer gossip to real news. After all, this world would have been a boring place to be born." Babe huffed, then ate his donut then drank his coffee.

She looked down at her phone as it seemed time to hit school.

"Be good, Babe." She petted her dog's head and left.

She went to the front door and locked her doors. Judith pressed her car key to unlock the car.

Beep! Beep!

Judith smiled and jumped into her red jeep. She drove herself on the street. She wore her sunglasses. She smiled with her red lipstick as she smiled with her pretty white teeth.

Turning on her radio and playing her favorite hits.

"Now playing everyone's favorite hit song and it is OMG by Candelita. Enjoy folks!"

"Oh my God, Oh my God! Oh my God! Todo lo malo échalo p'allá. Oh my God! Dame salud y prosperidad."

Judith drives past the Town Square which is the public square in Mystic Falls, it is at the center of the town. Seeing families and a few runners running through the square for the day. There is a clock tower in it that is connected to the Police Station. The Gilbert Building is also located nearby.

"No tengo nada, pero soy Feliz. Solo recuerdos habitan en mí. Sueños que cumplir (sueños) Y yo voy a mí (a mí). Puede que esté crazy, pero no lazy. Y hasta lograrlo voy a seguir"

She paused her ride as the traffic light showed red. On her right side there is The Public Library, a library in Mystic Falls. Judith hummed and thought, 'I should check that place out soon once I get a library card.'

"Oh my God! Todo lo malo échalo p'allá. Oh my God! Dame salud y prosperidad."

Seeing the light turned green. She began to drive away as she drove passed the Mystic Grill a restaurant, café, and bar in Mystic Falls, Virginia.

"Que se me alineen to' los planeta'. Que mi cartera no haga más dieta. Que me visite la buena suerte. Para ayudar a toda mi gente."

Judith had driven passed the City Halls towards the upward road and then made a turn.

"Oh my God! Todo lo malo échalo p'allá. Oh my God! Dame salud y prosperidad. Hay que dar gracias por un día más de vida. Por los amigos, que son pocos hoy en día. No hagas el mal porque todo se te vira. Un día estás abajo y al otro día, arriba."

She drove passed the Hospital building and aimed more on the road.

"Sueños que cumplir (oh-oh) Y yo voy a mí (oh-oh) Puede que esté crazy, pero no lazy. Y hasta lograrlo voy a seguir. Oh my God (ay-ay-ay) Candelita. Oh my God! Mauro! Díselo, Yanko!"

"Finally, I am here."

Judith saw her new high school just in front. Mystic Falls High School, is a place where all teenagers will go for courses in the next stages of life. She drove up to the school's parking lot. Then one teen saw a new face. Then one word from him, a few teenagers looked at where he was pointing at.

"Oh my God! Todo lo malo échalo p'allá. Oh my God! Dame salud y la mala lengua no tenga chance. Y que la envidia a mí no me alcance. Que el tiempo siempre sea mi testigo. Solo hago el bien, por eso te pido. Oh my God! Lucha por tu sueño. Que sí se puede. Oh my God! Cuando no encuentres la salida. Canta conmigo. Oh my God! Todo lo malo échalo p'allá. Oh my God! Dame salud y prosperidad."

She turned off her jeep. Then grabbed her backpack, stood outside her driver's door, and closed it. She stood and removed her sunglasses as she eyed silently at the sight.

Her lips are kissable, her hair is pixie cut, her neck is long, and her earrings are pierced. She has a trim and toned body and is 5'2". I mean, she looked like a kid who was a punk rock star. They saw the new girl wearing a Gothic Harajuku Green Black Lace Up Plaid Skirt to conceal her legs, a white tank top, and a green women's Tencel Military V-Neck button-up-sleeve blouse. She wears heels and an ankle-high boot. She was wearing silver piercing earrings. Moreover, necklaces featuring the Holy Crusade Cross and the English flag are present. Her pendant depicting Saint George, her patron saint, slaying the dragon was also worn by her.

All in all, she looks like she could be some rockstar kid or someone from Europe who ended the tour. Gossips and whispers as she looks like a cool person to hang out with. She walked almost like on a model catwalk.

They all smile and whisper to their cliques' group.

Judith gave a ghost smile. She thought to herself, 'Ugh, typical children. Thinking that the world owes them something. Well, they are dead wrong.'

On this first day of school, everyone is eager to start a new chapter. Since she broke up with her longtime lover Matt and lost her parents a long time ago, people like Elena Gilbert are in dire need of a fresh start. She is currently in the school's hallways with her buddy Bonnie, but Bonnie was unable to comment.

"Ugh, major lack of male real estate. Look at the shower curtain on Kelly Beach."

Bonnie said, "She looks a hot-can I still say-tranny mess?" as she glanced at Elena.

Elena shakes her head and says, "No, that's over."

"Ahh, find a man, coin a phrase. It's a busy year." Bonnie gestures to Elena, saying, "It's a busy year." Elena waves at Matt Donovan. After staring at her for a while, he closed his locker and walked away. Turning to face Bonnie, Elena declares, "He hates me."

"That's not hate. That's "You dumped me, but I'm too cool to show it, but secretly I'm listening to Air Supply's greatest hits." Bonnie pointed it out to Elena.

It was Caroline Forbes and then she hugged Elena, "Elena. Oh, my god. How are you? Oh, it's so good to see you." She then turns to Bonnie and questions her, "How is she? Is she good?"

Elena laughed warily, "Caroline, I'm right here. And I'm fine. Thank you."

"Really?"

She tries to assure Caroline, "Yes. Much better."

Caroline cooed at Elena, "Oh, you poor thing."

"Ok, Caroline."

"Anyway, have you heard the news?" Caroline decided to give her two best friends the juicy gossip. "We seemed to have a celebrity's kid coming to our school."

"Really?" Bonnie said incredulously. Typical teens used gossip to pass the time just cause of one spark rumor.

"Yes, and I saw her. And I was like, 'OMG! This is her. That's got to be her.' She looks like one of those icon for rock star teens or like people from UK. Anyway, she looks downright cool." Caroline squeals. Caroline saw this new girl and she was like she wanted to be her new best friend forever!

Elena said, "I think we should see

"Oh! Ok, see you guys later?" Caroline acted as if she was running in a marathon.

"Ok! Bye." Bonnie waved her friend off as Caroline seemed to be in a rush for no reason at all.

Eleana gave Bonnie a deadpan look, "No comment."

"I'm not going to say anything," Bonnie smirked.

In the Office

Judith waited for the secretary to bring up her schedule. "Now, Ms. Winchester, here is your class for your sophomore year. I hope we won't have any troubles just caused your guardian is on a distant road and not here to supervise you."

'Oh, you just love being a bitter bitch.' Judith hides her thoughts behind a smile and counter-argues, "Oh, I don't cause trouble, trouble finds me."

The secretary gave ah-ha with a skeptical look.

Judith took the paper and walked away. She loosed her smile and gave a not-amused face. She mumbled, "Old hag."

She walked to her first day which is history.

Judith J. B. Winchester took a seat and waited to start a boring day.

"Once our home state of Virginia joined the confederacy in 1861, it created a tremendous amount of tension within the state. People in Virginia's northwest region Had different ideals than those from the traditional deep south. Then Virginia divided in 1863 with the northwest region joining the union." Willaim Tanner began as full statement words, and look is enough to know that he is an elitist asshole.

Judith pursed her lips as she already decided she would hate this one. She decided to secretly sketch the pad while pretending she was taking notes.

Text to Bonnie from Elena. 'HAWT-E. STARING U.'

Judith sighed as she was happy to be out of school. Many people are still whispering or too chicken to even talk to her.

She put on her sunglasses. I mean geez if they wanted to talk to her, they should do it.

Whatever.

She will now drive away for she was too awesome to deal with the norms. Her red Jeep engine turned on as she lightly sped away.

Driving up to her house, she parked in her garage lane. She walked up and took her keys to enter her house. Babe came running towards her and gave a bark greeting.

Bark!

"Hey Babe," She kneels to rub his head and ears. He panted and huffed as he licked her hands.

She went to her living room where the TV is and turned on the news.

"There are still no reports of the deceased victims of Darren Malloy and Brooke Fenton. They only found a few pieces of their bodies being torn to pieces and their car seemed to have hit something. We have no reports other than that only the police said that it could be a wild animal attack. I am just getting a piece of news that Animal Control caught a wandering cougar on someone's property. Right now, they are checking if this cougar was the same animal that attacked them."

Judith looked at the pictures of victims, but she doubted it was something supernatural for it. After all, they are not showing any news since Mystic Falls is a popular place for bears and cougars here.

Judith then remembered her promise.

'No, no! Remember what you promised. No more hunting by yourself even if you can take care of it on your own. Dean promised he would come to meet me here once things are low profile for now. But he never mentioned if I could be fun.'

She gave herself a rather tempting smile.

She decided to open her laptop and type in her computer log.

'Dear Log, the first day to act and be a normal teenager is a lot harder than I thought. Students are a bunch of gossipers and are into such a stupid clique group. I have this asshole of a history teacher Mr. Tanner whom I have no doubt wished he was something supernatural to put a bullet in his head. Or in a more realistic teenage dramatic effect, "I would say I rather put myself a bullet in my head than dealing with his shit." Lol! Anyway, I am trying my best and worst, this is only my first day to be a normal teenager at a boring high school.

Someone, please save me now!

I wonder how it is that teenagers would complain that life is not exciting enough. Ha! Like they know excitement!

Anyhow, I have just turned on the news in my living and it would appear that two people named Darren Malloy and Brooke Fenton who happened to be torn to pieces by some cougar that animal control and police claims could be the perpetrator. I am doubtful about that. My hunting instinct is telling me that there is something supernatural about this. It is too convenient to simply be an animal attack. I would like to investigate this, but I made a promise to my brother Dean not to hunt until he gets here. I am now tempted to whether or not I should just break the rules. I mean, I am the badass Winchester bitch that the world will have once in a while.

(Note: secretly planning chances if I have a daughter from a one-night stand who will follow her mama's footsteps in the future. Maybe. Joking by the way)

And I do have a reputation to live by. You know what, I decided I needed to eat something good. Not just good. Something that feeds my bloodlust and urges me to hunt again.'

Judith clicked saved.

Mystic Grills

Judith opened and entered the grills.

Judith wore a white and gray striped Mock Turtleneck Sweater and white denim jeans with a design of black Celtic bird' patterns. Her head is covered in white wool Du Jour Beret. She carries a long brown wool trench coat. Her shoes are black platform Loafers. Her earrings are diamond tangling on the ends.

Judith asked for a table, and she was directed to the table for her to eat near the booth.

She was given a menu by the nice waiter and Judith smiled as she thanked him. "Anything I can start you with?" The waiter questioned her.

"Let's start with water and see what else I like to have."

"You got it." The waiter went to grab the water as Judith read her menu. Wow. Some of these are good.

She looked around and she noticed some teenagers came here to hang out or eat here.

Caroline and Bonnie entered the grill.

Caroline started off on her dream guy. "His name is Stefan Salvatore. He lives with his uncle up at the old Salvatore boarding house. He hasn't lived here since he was a kid. Military family, so they moved around a lot. He's a Gemini, and his favorite color is blue."

Bonnie looked at her in shock. "You got all of that in one day?"

Caroline scoffed almost insulted by that question, "Oh, please, I got all that between third and fourth period. We're planning a June wedding."

Caroline stopped her friend and said, "Look there is the woman of the hour."

"Care." Bonnie tries to stop, but Caroline already walking to talk to the new girl which she sighs. You gotta give Caroline credit for she is determined to be a got-getter.

Judith was talking male waiter and smiled. The male waiter laughed at something she said. He said, "Trust me you will be begging me to bring you the best steak on Mystic Grill."

"Oh, you seemed to believe that, Dave." Caroline interrupted their conversation.

Judith looked at the blonde girl and the African girl behind her.

"Hmm," Judith decided to end the conversation. "Well, Dave, you convinced me. Let's try that steak then. Rare if you please."

Dave smiled, "You got it."

"I take it this is your way to approach me," Judith smirked as she spoke the truth. Caroline didn't take it to heart and said, "Well, did it work?"

"Take a seat ladies and Dave if you don't mind bringing in the menus."

"Just keep your promise on that tip." Dave walked away to get the menus and make an order.

She gestured to them to share the table. Caroline looked at Bonnie in awestruck and moved her mouth silently, 'Oh my god! She's so cool!' Bonnie laughed and shook her head. They took a seat.

"So, on behalf of Mystic Falls residents slash school. Welcome to our humble beginnings. I'm Caroline Forbes."

"Oh, you're one of the founding families," Judith commented on her. She has been studying to see what connected them to Mystic Falls' history.

"Wow, look who has been studying our town." Caroline is really impressed. She likes her more and more.

"This is Bonnie Bennet." Judith shakes Bonnie's hand.

"Judith J. B. Winchester." She introduced herself.

"Oh, wow. Uh, what does J.B. stand for?" Caroline is surprised.

"J stands for Joëlle means God Will Be Willing which is my middle name. B stands for Boisgedras which I am a descendant of Boisgedras family."

"Oh, that is why," Bonnie said. "My grandma was concerned over who owns that, Chateau Manor."

"Why would she be concerned over it?" Judith questioned Bonnie.

"Oh, just an old family urban legend or a promise. They forced founding families to only promise they made for the Mystic Falls locals is that only the blood of De Boisgedras can inherit it." Bonnie continued, which seemed weird to her. I mean, some people wanted to buy the house, but they would say no firmly as the house of not on the market since there were rumors and stories of people breaking in and loitering.

However, they ended up in a tragic death and blood baths. They were hanged, tortured by fireplace poker, drowned in a bathtub, or worse gun bullets to the head.

The police station broke news to loved ones and family about what happened. The council of founding families were higher people to clean and fix anything damage left by burglars or people who try to steal. Almost like they fear if they don't fix it, something bad is about to happen to their town.

That was when people started whispering it could be a curse in that manner.

Judith steaks came and Dave asked what the other girls would like. Caroline wished to have a cheeseburger and curly fries. Bonnie would take a Fried chicken Ceasar salad.

They laughed and told stories about each other.

"I swear my brother Dean. He is a total dog and one corny word after another. Girls fell all over him."

The girls laughed together. They couldn't believe it.

"Leaving my other brother, Sam to be the bad guy and protective mom mood. He dragged him by the ear. And Sam is taller than him which scares Dean more."

The girls laughed harder.

"So, Dean is the older brother, but he is short compared to Sam." Bonnie giggles.

"Yeah, and Dean told me he used to tease Sam a lot when they were kids. Now he is regretful and scared of Sam more than anyone." Judith took a sip of her coke which she ordered. She added, "Dean is the guy you wanted to hate but love him instead."

Caroline spoke, "Oh my god, poor baby."

Bonnie questioned, "Speaking of baby, what about you being the baby in the family?" They got down that John Winchester had a close relationship with her mom as she would be a mother figure to his sons and had an unplanned pregnancy together. Her older brothers are Dean and Sam from John Winchester, and she mentioned that she found out years later that she had another half-brother named Adam born from another mother.

Judith shrugged it off.

"Well, Dean loves to spoil me so you could say we are closer to a father-and-daughter type." Bonne and Caroline nodded understanding. After all, sometimes your older siblings acted more like parents than your own.

"Though he does complain a lot like a dad about too much over clothes. I would wear, he claimed, too revealing. It was Miami beach, and it was hot that summer, so no one cared back there." Judith rolled her eyes. She was fourteen at that time and it was so hot.

"I feel for you." Caroline could understand. "My mom is the same way. I mean, come on this look will go to waste if I don't express it better." She gestured her whole body and face to sympathize with her cause.

"No doubt that boys will be over all over you," Bonnie commented to Caroline.

Matt came to their table.

"How's Elena doing?"

"Her mom and dad died. What do you think? She's putting on a good face, but it's only been four months."

He looked nervous. "Has she said anything about me?"

Bonnie shakes her head. Oh, now she is not coming between this. "Oh, no. So not getting in the middle. You pick up the phone and call her."

Matt said, "I feel weird calling her. She broke up with me."

"Give it more time, Matt."

Both Caroline and Judith were slurping their cokes as they watched Bonnie and Matt talking about their still feelings for Elena dumping him and he is still not over his ex. It was like watching a drama that was not on TV for once. Caroline and Judith looked at each other and rolled their eyes. Man up, kid! It already embarrassing enough to know that you wanted to call your ex out of concern.

Judith added ketchup to the plate and Caroline dipped her fries on the ketchup. They are eating a sample of curly fries on the same plate.

And speaking of Elena, here she comes.

They all turned and saw Elena along with Caroline's dreamboat guy Stefan entering the grill.

Judith looked to Caroline to confirm something.

"That's Elena Gilbert."

She nodded.

Okay, translation the girl born from another founding family.

"More time, huh?" Jealousy seemed to creep into Matt's voice. "Hey, I'm Matt, nice to meet you." He went to greet them.

Stefan introduced himself. "Hi. Stefan."

Elena said, "Hey." Though awkwardly as she is talking to her ex.

Matt repeated, "Hey."

Judith whispered, "I am going to see if we can get more drinks." Caroline nodded, agreeing. What they have seen is super awkward.

Later on the night…

Caroline began to speak. "So, you were born in Mystic Falls?" Stefan is so

"Mm-Hmm. And moved when I was still young."

Bonnie questioned him, "Parents?"

Stefan said, "My parents passed away."

Elena apologized, "I'm sorry. Any siblings?"

Stefan shrugged, "None that I talk to. I live with my uncle."

Caroline made her move. "So, Stefan, if you're new, then you don't know about the party tomorrow."

Bonnie answered, "It's a back-to-school thing at the falls."

Stefan asked Elena, "Are you going?"

Bonnie quickly interjected, "Of course she is." Elena really needed a fresh start, and this guy seemed like a nice one.

Judith, however, was staring at his hand closely along with the ring of his. Stefan noticed and questioned her, "Is there a problem with my hands?

Judith spoke as he looked at him, "You trained as a military, aren't you?"

That question startled everyone. Even Stefan, but the way she looked at his hand intently. Stefan was curious and decided to hear her reason. He smiled, "How did you guess?" He is curious how she knew.

"Basically, you may not know this, but my grandfather was a general who survived the Korean wars. Even in old age, you can still see a lot of strength with his hands and fingers when pulling a nail out of the wall and numbing any fractures. Those hands if people mistake them as free without blemished are misdirection. The way you hold fingers together as if you are holding a handgun or say a hunting pistol ready to pull a trigger such as I believe is how you trained to strengthen that main finger without straining yourself."

Flashback speed:

A trained soldier holding his handgun and his finger is attached to be ready to pull a trigger once he removes the gun from the servers. He pulls hold gun, and his main finger is still trained to pull the trigger quickly.

BANG!

"Also, if you can't see his hands, there are other ways to know if he or she is part of the military. Such as physical signs, observing their behavior, listening to their speech, looking for military-related items, and asking them directly23. Some common signs include eating fast, coordinated arm swings, ramrod-straight posture, and a specific haircut." She pointed to his haircut as Stefan combined his hair through his hand. Stefan is impressed and surprised.

The rest of the group was gobsmacked.

Judith narrowed her eyes and said, "Tell me, Stefan, why come to our school?"

Tension rising up. All their group was looking at Stefan and Judith quietly. Will there be a problem?

Stefan looked at her blankly then broke off the tension as he smiled.

"You got me. I kept escaping boarding school and military schools during my youth which led me to come here instead." He lifted his hand in surrender.

Everyone laughed in relief and the tension was gone.

"I was a bit rebellious as I often questioned authority figures which got me in trouble more than once. My uncle decided that I should be going to Mystic Falls High School, and it will be my last chance to change my ways." Stefan gave a brief statement.

Judith then smiled, "Look ladies, here come trouble." Caroline cheered with her cup.

The next day in history class,

Judith was scribbling her notes and hiding her drawing pad behind her notebook.

Last night was fun, but she didn't lie that she noticed his hand was military training, but there was something suspicious about his ring.

During her time as a hunter, she would see fellow hunters had sufficient jewelry to wear for protection and use against monsters. She recalled many of them had made iron pendants as a good option, sometimes gems to help their hunt.

Rare gems that hunt favorite used is:

1. Black Tourmaline

2. Clear Quartz

3. Hematite

4. Labradorite

5. Onyx

6. Selenite

7. Sugilite

8. Tiger's Eye

9. Diamond

10. Garnet

11. Lolite

12. Jet

13. Kyanite

She wonders if he is claiming what he is.

Mr. Tanner spoke in his annoyance, "The battle of willow creek took place right at the end of the war in our very own Mystic Falls. How many casualties resulted in this battle? Ms. Bennett?" He stood almost like a king. Yes, King of Douches as Judith secretly calls him.

Bonnie was startled, but she recovered only slightly. "Um...a lot? I'm not sure. Like a whole lot."

Judith sighed silently. Wow. Does anybody pass this class at all?

Mr. Tanner is not pleased. "Cute becomes dumb in an instant, Ms. Bennett. Mr. Donovan. Would you like to take this opportunity to overcome your embedded jock stereotype?"

"It's ok, Mr. Tanner, I'm cool with it," Matt said.

He went on to his next victim to be belittled without remorse. "Hmm. Elena? Surely you can enlighten us about one of the town's most significant historical events?"

Putting Elena on the spot wasn't smart. "I'm sorry, I- I don't know."

Mr. Tanner sighed as if he had given up on her. "I was willing to be lenient last year for obvious reasons, Elena. But the personal excuses ended with summer break."

Judith gobbed at that. What the hell man?

Stefan came to her rescue. "There were 346 casualties, Unless you're counting local civilians."

Tanner looked at the new kid. "That's correct. Mister... "

"Salvatore."

"Salvatore. Any relation to the original settlers here at Mystic Falls?" He hummed to that.

Instant answered by Stefan. "Distant."

Mr. Tanner looked at him, "Well, very good. Except, of course, there were no civilian casualties in this battle."

Stefan answered, "Actually, there were 27, sir. Confederate soldiers, they fired on the church, believing it to be housing weapons. They were wrong. It was a night of great loss. The founder's archives are, uh, stored in civil hall if you'd like to brush up on your facts. Mr. Tanner."

"hmm." Mr. Tanner did not comment and turned around to write down more on the board.

Tonight welcome back to school party…

Judith drove her red jeep and guess who her guest for is tonight.

Babe sat on the passenger seat and kept his head out of the window to feel the wind on him. Before she could see the picnic area where the majority of the students at Mystic Falls High gathered, she could already hear the music.

She parked her jeep and pulled out her dog. Babe is leashed with a vest as he panted and whines a bit. Judith just came here because Caroline wanted her to come so, she did.

"Hey, you made it!" Caroline waved to her.

Judith smiled briefly and walked to her, "No sass mouth, No sass mouth." She mumbled to herself.

"Oh, is this your dog?" Babe let loose his tongue.

"Yeah, can't exactly leave him alone tonight," Judith spoke as she petted him to relax his stance. They talked for a bit, that is until Caroline's future husband was there.

Caroline left her very quickly after that. Judith was left standing clumsily by the flames when she spotted her future spouse and quickly left without saying anything.

Judith looked around to see if there was any food or drinks. She is a Geometric Print Asymmetric Collar Long long-sleeve jacket and pants Two-Piece Outfit, Elegant For Outings, And Commuting with long-leg boots.

She found a BBQ and food on the table. She took two paper plates for hotdogs and hamburgers with chips and dips. She placed the food for her dog as he gobbled happily up. Judith felt a little standing out, but she didn't let it bother her.

Looking up at the stars in the sky, it seemed Virginia is a popular place to see a lot of stars. Judith sipped a coke, and she brought her own thermostat bottle that had rum inside.

She mixed both drinks into a plastic cup and drank it. Hey, it is a party, and she does want a drink.

Babe was busy scratching his ear out until he heard something. He lifted up his head and tilted his ear to hear something.

Babe sniffed up in the air. He pawed her legs and begging mood. Judith looked at Babe. "Oh, you need to go?"

Okay, babe has been good so far and he allowed a few kids to pet him and cooed at him without biting anyone.

Judith got up and walked him with the leash attached to his vest. Started to pull himself forward as if he was in a hurry.

"Woah, Babe. What's the rush?"

Babe looked around as if he was looking for someone.

During that time, Vicki is alone, and fog is gathering around her.

"Jeremy? Is that you? Jeremy?" Vicki shouted in the air.

The fog is everywhere around her.

Flashed through a speed.

Someone attacked her.

Judith sensed something off as she always carried a hunting knife.

"KYAHH!"

Judith whistled for Babe to search for that person.

Babe barked as he ran along with Judith, he ran behind him.

Babe sniffs around until he whines at what he finds. He licks the person he found and keeps pressing his nose to wake her.

Judith mumbled, "Shit."

She kneels and checks her pulse. This girl is breathing, but she is bleeding too much.

"Babe, get help. Go!" She gave Babe an order. Babe ran out to get help.

Babe ran as fast as he could. He has to find people and soon.

He was barking as he saw Jeremy and Elena. They looked like they were arguing.

"Jeremy, where the hell are you going?

Jeremy is angry right now. Worse, he liked Vicki, but she didn't want him. "I don't want to hear it!"

Elena shouted, "Yeah, well, too bad!"

Babe interrupted them as he jumped around them and barked them like crazy. Babe ran around and kept tugging Jeremy's jeans to follow him.

"Hey, get off!" Jeremy tried to get this stupid dog. He was twisting around to get him to stop pulling him.

Babe dodged and made Jeremy trip himself. Babe almost walked away but barked at them still.

Elena was curious as she followed the dog and spotted something that made her gasp.

"Oh my God!"

Vicki has been attacked, and Judith is pressing her jacket onto her neck to stop the bleeding. Judith's hands are bloody, but it is because she is trying to prevent blood from coming out and fearing her body will turn cold. Babe ran back and sat down by Judith's side. He whines and pants as he knows he did a good job.

"Good boy," Judith commented to her dog.

"Elena, I need help!" Judith looked at Elena as she moved to help her.

"Vicki? No! Oh, my god, it's Vicki!" Jeremy ran passed Elena and helped Judith, which she ordered to keep her warm and hold the jacket pressed onto her neck.

Jeremy, Elena, Babe the dog, and Judith came back. Jeremy was holding an unconscious Vicki Donovan as they both yelled for assistance. After that, everything appeared to happen rather rapidly. The majority of the children fled before the police arrived after someone dialed 911.

Judith decided to get herself clean off and the police had to take her jacket because it was covered in Vicki's blood.

Great.

That happened to be one of her nice jackets.

You know what, Dean was right. Never wear your nice clothes even when you are on a date because chances are that it is going to get ruined soon.

Yup, this will be definitely that time.

Judith took Babe back to her jeep and drove away.

Flashback:

She kneels and checks her pulse. This girl is breathing, but she is bleeding too much.

"Babe, get help. Go!" She gave Babe an order. Babe ran out to get help. She could hear the dog barking.

Good. He can get help.

Judith removed her jacket and lifted her head onto her lap. She noticed two puncture wounds.

"A vampire? Great." She mumbled. Geeze, everywhere she goes. There is always a chance to get entangled with the supernatural again. Guess God does like to give us a good joke.

She pressed her jacket onto her wound to prevent blood from spilling.

"Don't worry, be calm. Help is on the way." She said to the unconscious girl.

Judith went home and decided to shower to clean the blood off.

She wipes the fogging mirror off of her bathroom and stares at herself.

She looked at herself really closely.

Judith did try. She tried for so long to be normal, but ever since that victim got attacked by a vampire. It seemed like fate decided to step in.

"Stop hiding who you are. And do your job as a hunter."

'Dear Log, I have tried. I tried so good to be normal like Dean wanted. But…

In the end, it was pointless. Fate is like a fickle person. You could try to please them or go against them as you believe that you already have it in your hands to possess and control. My general grandfather had told me this. "You get up one day in the morning and you are expected not to hear someone dropping bombs on you from the sky and sea. Being normal is harder since you got your first taste in the real war. However, if you don't find your reason to go to war, then you are no different than all the real monsters who prefer to lose their purpose. We have them pliantly on the news channel every day. They are the type of people who prefer fighting against good people then fighting the bad ones.

Well, Grandpa. You are right. I need to prepare to go to battle soon. After all, we all cannot go against our nature to fight for our people. Demons will come after you soon if you don't find a reason to fight back.'

Judith sighed and took a hold cup of salt.

She spread them in many windows, doors, and pumps. Pouring holy water into her sinks and cleans every corner of the house with holy water.

'People had to accept that we all cannot fight our fate.'
