The store was busy that weekend, Avrail was at the counter, when one of her neighbors came in. She waved hello, when he looked at her. He came over to the counter and asked her if she heard the news about the two couple that were found dead in there car. Avrail told him that she heard a small bit of the story, but not the whole story. He then told her that they were ambushed and it was robbery, but that some of there stuff was found on the road they were driving on. One person died the other three were in the hospital. Avrail replied that it must have been someone from out of town and asked if he noticed anything suspicious in town? The man replied that he hadn't, and said he was going get a few things, then asked her to stay safe. Avrail replied that she would, and went to pick up Terran from his play pen.
The forks diner was active with news about the murders, Terran sat in a high chair. Roy was talking and Avrail heard him say that his friend was heading home from the grocery store when it happened. Eric came in the diner, and Mike waved to him. He was heading to their area and he had Angela and Eda with him. They pulled the table they were taking next to Avrail and Mike. They sat in their seats and ordered a drink. Avrail said hello, then picked up Terran so they could see how big he was. Eda hadn't seen him in a month and see said he was looked healthy. Avrail thanked her, and heard Eric talking to Roy, he was asking how his friend was, Roy replied that he was doing good,and a little confused about how the people showed up on that street. Eric wished him a good recovery, then Roy turned back to his conversation. Mike said that they should go surfing, and Eric agreed that he could do that weekend. The waitress brought back their drinks and they then turned the conversation to sports.
They were at home when Mike's phone rang, he picked up the phone then answered it. Terrance was on the phone, Mike asked how he was doing. Terrance replied that he was doing good, and that he had some good news for them. Avrail was curious to know what Terrance had to tell them. He said he was having a meeting and asked if they would be able to make it. Mike replied that they could, and after getting the details he said goodbye to Terrance. Avrail asked Mike if he knew what Terrance had to tell them, and Mike replied that it was training stuff.
It was a bit windy at the Forks beach. Avrail pushed Terran's stroller to the beach and s he saw the wolf pack and their friends on the beach. She asked Mike if he wanted to go say hello to them. Mike replied with a yeah, and they walked to where the pack was sitting. When they approached Sam was talking to the group about the waves and asked if they were going cliff diving later. Paul and Quil both responded yes. When they saw Avrail, she said hello, then asked if they had gotten hurt during the vampire attacks the other day. Sam replied no they hadn't. She told them that Mike was going surfing and she was gonna sit with the baby on the beach. After Mike said hello, they head over to Eric's Car, who had pulled into the parking lot. He was getting his surfing gear on and Mike started to get his on too. After kissing Mike goodbye, he headed for the waves. She sat on the beach with Angela, Terran was on the blanket and played with his toys. She saw that Mike took a huge wave and pointed it out to Angela. She cheered him on with Avrail. On the way home it had started to rain, and the trees were letting it fall on the ground.
