Chapter Ten: Convincing
"I can't believe you actually convinced me," Oliver sighed as he opened the karaoke bar door holding it for Kara.
"Well in all defense you could have easily denied the way convincing," Kara smiled pulling her dress down as she walked into the bar.
"But how could I resist you," Oliver leaned in her ear. A faint blush came to Kara's face as she let out a small giggle.
"Kara! Oliver!" Barry's voice made them turn their attention towards their boyfriend who was moving their way.
Barry kissed Kara first then kissed Oliver. "Mmm rum," Oliver hummed. "Something I haven't tasted in a while."
Barry smiled kissing Oliver again. "So where's the rest of Team Flash?" Kara asked.
"Cisco's over there with Camilla, Caitlin is sitting over there with Harry and HR, Joe didn't come, and I guess Iris is running late."
"Iris is coming?" Kara looked at Barry.
"Yeah I guess," Barry shrugged. "Cisco made it to invite the entire team and shes still on it."
Kara nodded.
"I'm gonna go get drinks," Oliver said going to the bar, on his way to the bar Barry slapped Oliver's ass causing the man to stop. "Bartholomew Henry Allen!" Oliver turned to face his boyfriend this caused a giggle out of Kara.
"Come on Barry," Kara giggled grabbing Barry's hand. "Let's go to the table before Oliver kill's you."
Oliver sighed turning back to the bar as his partners made their way towards the table where Team Flash sat.
"You're really confident right now," Kara giggled again telling Barry.
"Hey KD!" HR cheered once he noticed Kara.
"KD?" Kara looked at the doppelgänger.
"The first initials of your name!" HR beamed as he drunkly banged his drum sticks to the beat of the song that was playing, against the table. "Would you prefer me to use SG for —"
"No," Harry answered Caitlin said at the same time annoyed at the doppelgänger.
"I liked your article on the Lena and I combining our businesses," Harry told Kara.
"Thank you," Kara smiled sitting down, her eyes followed Barry who go on his knees beside her. "Baby, sit in a chair."
"Probably best," Barry nodded standing sitting in a chair next to Kara.
"Is he drunk?"
"Blame Ramon," Harry pointed over to where Cisco was making out with Camilla.
Oliver came back with a tray of beers, "Beer anyone?" He say the tray on the table.
"Yes please," Harry was the first to reach for the beer, Caitlin following behind him, then Kara.
"Excuse me!" Barry's voice rang in their ears. "What?" Kara's head moved to the seat where Barry was just sitting was now empty, her head went up to the stage. "Tonight is a really big night! I am engaged to two people I love very much!" He announced as Iris walked in the bar stopping at the entrance as she heard his words.
"Oh God," Oliver sighed.
"Engaged?" Caitlin looked at the pair.
Before either could respond Barry spoke up again. "This is a song I would love to sing with my wonderful fiancé Kara Danvers!" He pointed at Kara.
"Kill me now," Kara blushed burying her head in her hands.
"Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara!" Barry began to chant getting the bar to join in with him, "Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara!"
"Alright," Kara sighed her cheeks pink of embarrassment as she stood up gaining cheers from everyone even HR as she made her way to the stage. "What are we singing?" Kara asked Barry.
"You tell me Superfriend," Barry winked.
"Oh Rao," Kara muttered but she couldn't help the smile that formed on her face.
Barry: At times like these

Oliver watched the two from his seat, he knew Kara could sing but not Barry. It made him love them even more.
Kara: I'm your super friend

Barry: When you need a compliment
I can rattle off a dozen
Barry: For instance I have to say, I'm not impressed by your more famous cousin
Kara: Thank you! No one ever says that!
Barry: Oh he's all like "Oh, I'm Superman!"
Kara: That's a really good impression
Barry: Thanks
Both: I'm your super friend

Kara: When it comes to buddies, pal, you're the best
Barry: I love you more than a lightning bolt I wear on my chest
Kara: If you are ever sad, I'll bring you flowers
Barry: You can list soprano as one of your powers
Kara: Thanks!
Kara: If you are ever broke...
Barry: I've got the cash
Kara: On my couch...
Barry: You're welcome to crash
Kara: And if you ever need a hand...
Barry: I'll be there in a flash!
"Barry," muttered sighed came from Oliver, Caitlin, and Harry.
Both: I'm your super friend

I'm your super-that-has-a-double-meaning friend
Kara and Barry walked off the stage, Barry pulling Kara into a deep kiss gaining more cheers, the two pulled away going back to the table.
"You two are lucky that everyone in the bar is drunk," Oliver whispered to his lovers.
"We know, it was kind of revealing but in all fairness, we were stuck in a musical when it was made," Kara smiled.
"A musical?" Oliver raised an eyebrow.
"Congratulations," Iris's voice startled the drunk Barry, "On the engagement."
"Iris!" Barry looked up at his ex-girlfriend/adoptive sister.
"Thanks..." Kara nodded uncomfortable with the small, tight smile she had got from Iris.
Thought about doing 'Moon River' but decided to go with 'Super Friend' because why not?
