It's been one month since Leo was born, along with Adriana, Asuka, and Asura.
The guild had plenty of time to see how the new parents fair raising kids of their own.
Natsu and Ultear fell into father and mother rolls almost a little too well for everyone's taste.
However, the guild master, Macao, dismissed those, saying some people fall into those roles better than others.
That washed any doubt they had quickly let the matter go.
Bisca and Alzack are doing their best, having a good idea of what to do.
Kinana and Erik are having the most trouble. Kinana has a rough idea, and Erik is clueless since this is entirely foreign to him.
Ur is holding her grandson in a booth with her daughter and son-in-law next to her.
"who's the cute little boy you are, you are Leo!" she says as Leo shows her his gums.
The other two sets of parents want to see the little guy.
They took turns holding the other newborn baby when the chance showed itself.
That is not all Wendy and Meredy are two, and Romeo too, with his dad beside him.
"Woah, they're so small, dad?" Romeo said, unable to take his eyes off Leo, the oldest of four infants.
"You were that small too when you were born, son."
"Really?"
"Yep." Romeo's attention turned back to the infant's wanting a chance to hold them.
Eventually, Romeo got his chance to hold the little ones, along with most of the guild.
Natsu was about to head home with Ultear when he caught sight of Macao with his head down on the bar.
This got Ultear's attention; she traded looks with Natsu, nodding before going ahead.
Natsu walked up to the elder fire mage sitting beside him at the bar.
"Something on your mind, Macao?" He asked.
"Yeah, seeing you Ultear and the other married with little ones of your own got me thinking about her."
"Enno, if I remember correctly?" He said, sitting beside him.
"That's her,"
"That's been bothering me. Why did she leave?"
"I know why." Natsu cringed at his tone. Seeing the look in his eye, Macao let out a sigh, knowing he has to tell someone sooner or later.
"It was a mutual understanding, Natsu."
"I know there is more to it than that!"
"It was for Romeo's protection." He said with a sigh.
"What! Why?" He leans closer, wanting to know more.
"Enno like Lucy was a runaway. She comes from an aristocratic family. A free-spirited girl like her and them doesn't mix well."
"I'm starting to get the pictures," he urged him to continue.
"To our surprise, they tracked her down and forced her to come home. Before you ask, they have a lot of political power, if you catch my drift."
"I assume they don't know about Romeo?"
"Thankfully, yes. Otherwise, who knows what would have happened."
"Who else knows?"
"Makarov."
"And Romeo?"
"Just getting to that, I send a letter to her every so often. To let her know how he's doing. And she writes us back if she can."
"Is there anything you need to say?"
"No."
"Ultear's gonna wanna know."
"Figures as much."
"Well, I guess I know what my next job will be," he said with a smirk as the end of his finger ignited.
"Natsu!"
"What Ultear can fix the damage, hehe" Macao didn't even try to hide his laughter.
"I can say that Enno will love to see Romeo in person after all these years.
"We'll have a good night, Macao!"
"You to Natsu."
When Natsu finally reached home, he saw Ultear resting in bed with their son in her arms.
He lays down beside her to realize she is breastfeeding him.
"So, what's up with Macao?" He filled her in on Romeo's mom and how most people do not realize their split was necessary for Romeo's well-being.
She can only shake her head in disapproval when Natsu reaches the part about igniting his finger on fire.
By this time, Leo had stopped eating, snuggling into his mother's arm and falling fast asleep, bringing a smile to the parent's faces.
She carefully places him in the crib next to their bed before laying down next to her husband.
"I'd like to do this sooner rather than later, but Leo takes priority."
It's been one month since Natsu learned of Enno. Right now, he's standing at the train station with Ultear, their son, Happy, Macao, and Romeo.
Romeo is practically vibrating in anticipation of seeing his mom face to face getting chuckles from the others.
"Slow down there, Romeo. I know she can't wait to see you again," his father said.
"Sorry!" He said nervously. The train finally pulled into the station.
They all boarded the train finding a compartment to themselves. Leo just now wakes up only to smile seeing his mom and dad.
"How long will it take us to get to mom's place?"
"Three hours also she said she'll meet us at the train station. However, I'm not sure if she can find the chance to, knowing her relatives," Macao informed.
Sure enough, the three hours went by in what felt like a blink of an eye.
When they finally got off the train, they looked around to see the town size easily dwarfed Magnolia.
Looking to the mountain on the far side, they see a mansion overlooking the town.
They quickly brought Their attention back to the task at hand. They hope Enno can make it.
When Romeo is suddenly brought into a bone-crushing hug by Enno herself, they get their answer.
Taking a look at the lovely woman, she has short wavy purple hair with eyes to match.
She was wearing what looked to be sandals with dark jeans and a white blouse with sleeves going down to her elbow. It helped highlight her sizable bust causing pink to dust Macao's cheeks.
Shifting their focus away from her clothes, she's rubbing her cheeks against Romeo.
"Words can't describe how much I've missed you, Romeo!" She said with tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Same here, mom," he said with tears as she finally let him go. This is when she finally locked eyes with Macao.
"Been a while, Enno," he said, walking up to her.
"Same here, Macao" they both sent a warm smile before Romeo pushed his mom into a hug with his father.
She lightly pecks his lips with hers, resulting in blush from the elder fire mage.
"We can't stand here all day. So I have a friend nearby to stay in town.
Enno led them to a friend's home not too far away from the train station.
Her friend's name is Kaylee, who stepped into the other room to give them some privacy.
They all sat at a table large enough for all of them to sit.
"I take it your father is still as controlling as ever!" Macao said with a hint of venom.
Enno's expressions harden his words.
"Yes, Lucis is trying to push me to marry some guy from seven!" they quickly realized she does call her father by dad but instead his real name.
"If you don't mind me asking Enno, why did you leave Romeo behind?" Ultear asked, wanting to know more.
"I didn't want to, but I had to for his safety. My father doesn't know about him. And if they did, they'd try to force him into their lifestyle. So I left him with Macao because he would have something I never had growing up. freedom, freedom to make his own life choices, be it being a mage or a rune knight or having regular mundane life." When Romeo saw her, he hugged her, and she returned it.
Ultear nodded at her reasoning, once again glad to be Natsu's mate. He gave her the chance to fulfill her deepest desires—a mother for one.
"So, how do you want to go about this? Also, do you still have your guild mark?" Natsu asked as a small flame ignited at the end of his finger.
"Yes, I still have it. Why?" Natsu smirked at this.
"After our guild war with phantom lord game to an end, the council placed more restrictions on forceful removal of wizards from a guild if push comes to shove." He said, resulting in a small chuckle from everyone.
"One more thing, who is this Cutie patootie!" Enno said, looking at Ultear's, seeing a sweet baby boy.
"He's our son Leo!" Ultear informed.
"Can I hold him, please!" She begged.
"Oh, alright!" She carefully hands her son over to Enno.
She didn't hold him very long before Natsu picked up a scent before anyone else.
"Someone made a stinky!" Just as he said those words, Leo started crying.
Enno handed Leo back to Ultear, who went to work changing her diaper.
His diaper is changed in no time at all, and he is back to his happy self, having a smile rivaling His father.
A look out the window revealed the sun was touching the horizon.
The Conbolts took a bedroom to themselves. Romeo didn't hesitate to sleep between them, snuggling up to his mom.
Natsu and Ultear got one with Leo sleeping in Natsu's chest with Ultear taking his side.
Happy found his spot at the end of the bed sleeping peacefully.
The next day Enno led them to a nearby cafe for some breakfast. Then it was time to face the grandparent.
During their talks at breakfast, Natsu and the others learned Her father guilt-tripped Enno into returning home to visit her dying mother before she passed away.
She would have headed straight back to fairy tail, but that was when complications happened.
This news enraged the small group, Macao, most of all.
To no surprise, her father's estate was the mansion overlooking the town on the mountainside. It can be seen for miles.
As they stepped closer and closer to the mansion, doubt began to flood Enno's mind.
Then she felt Macao put his arm around her waist and Romeo taking her hand, calming her nerves.
Before they knew it, they stood at the front gates.
"Enno, who are these people you brought with you?'' a gate guard asked, standing behind the gate.
"This is my now Ex-husband and my SON, along with members of fairy tail. We ARE having a chat with my father!"
"About time you stood up to that egotistical Prick!" He said, opening the front gates.
"Thank you!" She said
"You're welcome." He said, closing the gate behind them.
"I assume many people aren't fans of your father?" Natsu asked.
"Yes,"
"What would be the best way to convince him to let you go?" Ultear said.
"The man loves his position of power over the town. Some think he loves it more than me. But, for once, the rumor mill might be right."
"Any dirt on him?" Natsu asked.
"Well, he does a good job hiding it, but I have my ways of getting information, isn't that right, Macao!" The man in question blushed. This brief exchange went right over the six-year-olds head.
They push open the home's front doors to see her father at the dining room table with various advisers beside him.
The man was much older and tall with a lean build, gray hair, and a long beard.
He wears black dress pants and shoes with what looks to be a white undershirt with a red three-button coat.
"Enno, where have you been!" He demanded, making the other flinch.
"Spending time with my family!" This was when he noticed a familiar face beside her, Macao.
"What is the low-life trash doing in here!"
"He came to bring me back to fairy tail! with our SON!" Then he noticed the small boy with his parents' purple hair.
Now the man she calls a father is furious as his prized daughter has a son with Macao of all people. And she kept it a secret from him.
He got up from his seat and walked toward his daughter as rage filled him with heavy steps. And to make things worse for him, his daughter has a defiant look in her eyes.
He raises his hand, intending to show her the error of her ways.
But before his hand could make contact, someone grabbed his arm. Natsu looked him dead in the eyes with eyes that could kill.
Those unfortunate enough to watch decided that now was a good time to leave.
The only ones in the room are Conbolt and the Dragneel's
He tried to break free, only for Natsu to strengthen his hold enough to make the man quince in pain.
"He would do anything if he wanted to keep his arm!" Natsu spat.
"Mom was the one to help me leave this place the first time, Lucis. Using your goons and power to keep me tied down is not what she would have wanted!"
"How dare you talk to her like that? You don't know her as I do!"
"Really, how do you think I left this place all those years ago!" But, again, he couldn't respond. By this time, Natsu listened to his grip.
It was enough for him to break free from Natsu,
"Guards, get these people out of my site but leave my daughter and grandson alone. I'll teach her some manners when the others are gone!" Natsu grinned at this watching a dozen men in a black suit with armor plates enter.
"I suggest we give Natsu some space," Ultear said, getting nods from the Conbolt and happy.
It took less than a minute for all dozen men to lie on the floor, beaten and battered, leaving Lucis all by himself.
Going off his brow, the man broke into a cold sweat at the power Natsu displayed without magic.
Then he saw Ultear off to the side, holding what he could assume in his child. His brain hatched an idea to put him in control of the situation.
He quickly raced toward her, catching Ultear off guard before turning around, intending to protect their son.
Before striking distance, he saw a pink blur before feeling extreme pain in his abdomen and coughing up blood.
The source is Natsu, with a new level of rage in his eye. But, instead of Natsu, he sees a fire dragon staring him down, piercing his soul.
"Now you cross the line!" He said in a voice colder than an ice storm in the dead of winter.
Ultear led the others outside, not wanting the others, especially Romeo, to see this.
The other occupants of the manor were right behind them.
Moments later, the whole building came down to the ground.
Out of the dust cloud stood a shadowy figure. It revealed itself to be Natsu dragging his unconscious body of Lucis.
He slapped the guy waking him up only for his eyes to gaze at the pile of rubble that was his home.
"You little, do you know who I am? With my power, I'll make sure you never see the light of day!" He shouts.
"Good luck with that. By the way, I'm the flame prince!" He said with a sickly sweet voice.
Lucis's face grew white at this recognizing the name, and if half the rumors are true, he's lucky to be alive right now.
"This is what is going to happen. You will give Enno her freedom to live her life how she wants, Understood!"
He reluctantly agreed, not seeing any way out of this, getting a smile from the wizard saint.
"Ultear would you mind," he asked his wife.
"With pleasure Natsu," she handed her son to Enno before using her magic to restore the manor to its former glory.
"Thank you," he said reluctantly.
"Your welcome. If that's all, it's time to head home, everyone."
"Yes, Mom is coming home with us!" Romeo shouts to the heavens above.
They left the manor only for Enno to give the gate guard a farewell.
But before they could reach the train station, they made a quick stop at the Rune knights.
Enno dropped off a black journal. It didn't take a genius to know that all is under the table deal over the years.
"If he's lucky, he'll be forced to live with the low lives he calls them," Enno said as she latched into Macao's arms.
"Glad this over time. let's head back to the guild and welcome you back, Enno."
Enno gave a farewell to all her friends before heading back to magnolia.
Enno is up to speed on the guild after her forced departure on the way back.
She was delighted to know Macao had become the guild master.
The guild was shocked to see Enno again after seven years.
A week later, she remarried Macao taking up residence with him and her son.
Two weeks later, everyone in the guild was going about their day before Natsu walked in with a mischievous smirk as he held a newspaper in his hand.
Everyone crowded around at a nearby table, wanting to know what was happening.
To Enno Conbolt's delight, her father has been stripped of her wealth and status and is most likely serving a lifetime sentence in prison.
"All's well that ends well," Macao said, getting smirked by his wife and son.
Enno decided to take up the mantle of operating the guild bar serving drinks or food.
As week after week went by, Enno gradually found her place in the guild doing an occasional dance when the chance came.
Seeing the purple-haired beauty come back into Macao's life, Macao's long-time friend had a tinge of jealousy, seeing how Enno's figure hadn't wavered.
And they made up for all the lost time when Romeo wasn't around, infuriating his friend further.
That's Not all. Bisca, Alzack, Kinana, and Erik got a better understanding of being a parent.
The four infants get bigger and bigger week by week.
Before they knew it, the year ended, marking the beginning of X786.
Edolas
Dragion lays on the ground, frozen like a block of ice. He wasn't alone. Some of his guildmates were all frozen in place.
Leviathan just dropped the bombshell and is pregnant and assuring everyone he's the father.
Of course, the person the most infuriated by this news is none other than Lucy Ashley.
Unknown to everyone, including Ashley herself, a new emotion slowly takes root in her heart.
Leviathan looks to the man who stole her heart and helped him back to his feet. The smile slowly takes over his face matching hers.
"Guess we better match our counterparts then," he says, holding her left hand with his.
Leviathan slightly leans on him with a content smile.
Within the week, Dragion proposed to her. No shocker, she said yes, and we're married two weeks later, marking her one month pregnant.
