Hi, it's been a little while. I was going through my little small free writings and found this one I did back in February. It's honestly an incomplete story, I ended up not finishing and have just dialogue for the final bits. I don't really know where this was going originally, so I'm leaving it up here for you all. Maybe you'll want to do something with it?

Title: A Scam For A Scam For A Scam

Summary: "So let me get this straight, you want my help to scam a scammer who is scamming a scammer?" Or Someone seeks Conan's help because he's the perfect one to help fit a role. Unfortunately it won't be easy and there's no way he'd agree to this right?

Idea: Triple Scamming

As usual, the news reported the great Kaitou Kid got away. Also as usual, the little boy dubbed, "The KID Killer," was the closest to catching him. He's exactly who she needed in dealing with her friend. But it would be strange to just go up and find him, right? Letting out a deep sigh, she slowly made her way toward the bus station. It was going to be a long ride back home from work and she wanted to get home it got too dark.

A dull thud and the light thump of something falling to the floor was heard, soon after word of apology was given.

"Gomen nasai oneesan." He bowed his head a little before starting to run in the opposite direction.

Wait, that was the boy. What was he doing here. Ah, no time to ponder, this was her chance, "Wait!"

He stopped walking and turned to look her way, his rush to his destination forgotten about, replaced by curiosity.

"You! You're the boy!"

For a brief moment, she saw the boy's senses grow alert, cautiously eyeing her before changing into an innocent smile.

"Do I kn—"

But she gave him no time, cutting him off from his question.

"Boya, I know how intelligent you are."

"Ehehehe, what you are taking about?"

"Don't play dumb, I've seen what you can do. You're the boy in the news, the famous KID Killer, Edogawa Conan."

"Ah, yeah, but what does that have to do with my intelligence?"

"Everything! You can solve tricky puzzles and come close to KID who is a puzzling trickster."

"Oh."

"I'll cut to the chase. I need your help in solving my own puzzle."

"Huh?"

"I need you to help me scam a scammer."

"What?"

"If you can solve a puzzle as complex as KID's, then surely you're able to solve others."

"I don't follow."

"A friend of mine had scammed me in a certain way, but the irony is that my friend was soon after scammed by another. Because of my friend's streak and stubbornness, an ongoing plan to scam the scammer is in action. I have long since forgiven my friend for what was done to me, but I cannot let my friend go down this path any longer. So I want to teach a lesson through what those two know best."

"So, let me get this straight, you want my help to scam a scammer who is scamming a scammer?"

"Yes. Please young detective, I've no one else to turn to."

So that's all there is. I think I was trying to practice writing some one shot that involved lots of layers of plans, with Conan somehow being the planner. But I honestly don't have anything for this anymore. So I'll just leave it up here for everyone to imagine their own scenarios.
