Chapter 17
The Separatist Council and The Decepticons
Back on Geonosis, Obi-Wan Kenobi had snuck into a Geonosian droid factory creeping along, so as to not be noticed investigated his surroundings. Obi-Wan came upon a balcony where he witnessed an assembly line with thousands upon thousands of battle droids being put together along with a giant frozen robot bearing the symbol of the Decepticons he had seen on Kamino . He left the balcony and came down some stairs where he heard voices belonging to Count Dooku and members of the separatist alliance, along with the giant footsteps of the Decepticons. Obi-Wan hid behind a wall so that they wouldn't discover his whereabouts.
"Now we must persuade the Commerce Guild and the Corporate Alliance to sign the treaty" said Count Dooku.
"What about the Senator from Naboo? Is she dead yet? I'm not signing your treaty until I have her head on my desk" said Viceroy Gunray.
"I am a man of my word, Viceroy" said Dooku.
"With these new battle droids we've built for you, along with our new found alliance with the Decepticons you'll have the finest army in the galaxy" said Wat Tambor of the techno union.
"Speaking of our friends, what's the status on Megatrons current state Shockwave" Count Dooku asked?
The one eyed second in command of the Deceptions stepped forward and replied "According to the reports provided by Archduke Poggle, Megatron should reanimate within a matter of days give or take."
"Excellent" said Dooku pleased.
As the group gathered around a table and each took a seat, save of course Shockwave and his drones, the separatists could get down to the business at hand. Obi-Wan had followed them to an archway in the ceiling and listened in to their conversation.
"As I explained to you earlier, I'm quiteconvinced that ten thousand more systems will rally to ourcause with your support, gentlemen" said Count Dooku.
"What your saying could be considered treason" said Shu Mai of the commerce guild in Gossamese.
" The techno union army...is at your disposal count" said Wat Tambor adjusting his suit after a slight malfunction.
"The Banking Clan will sign your treaty" said San Hill of the Banking Clan.
"Good, very good.Our friends in the Trade Federation have pledged their support. Along with the Decepticons and their army. When their Battle Droids are combined with yours, we shall have an army greater than anything in the galaxy, The Jedi will be overwhelmed. The Republic will agree to any demands me make.
