All of Manhattan is evacuating. "What's going on," asks Max.
"That's what I'd like to know," says a Japanese scientist, "my name is Kunihiko Maeda." They then see an officer burst into flames.

Aya wakes up and sees Ben. "Who are you," asks Aya.
"Ben Tennyson, now can you tell me what's going on," asks Ben.
"Something about mitochondria," says Eve, "some woman or... something that can control it!"
"What's mitochondria," asks Ben.
"Honestly... I'm not so sure myself right now," says Aya, "the point is, I have to stop... wait, how'd you get me all the way to the subway?"
The Omnitrix is ready, and Ben turns to Wildvine. "I can help," says Ben.
"Useful," says Eve.
"I know what we're dealing with! My name is Maeda. I can tell you Eve's story. A scientist tried to culture the cells of his wife after she was involved in a car accident, and the mitochondria in her cells took over her body. I believe Eve may be trying to give birth to an 'Ultimate Being'."
"That doesn't sound good," says Ben.
